Scott Engel and Mark Paquette get into the full MLB schedule on the 6/30 MLB DFS Podcast. They break down the Sunday slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Making pitching decisions will not be easy and there are a few notable stacks to choose from.

6/30 MLB DFS Podcast Pitching Notes

The big question is whether to spend up for Max Scherzer at an astronomical price. Gerrit Cole is an alternative, but will a Houston starter disappoint for a second consecutive day? Robbie Ray could be your prime choice if you want to spend a bit less.

6/30 MLB DFS Podcast Hitting Notes

The Astros are looking nearly complete again, and Jose Altuve is at a great price on DraftKings. You really have to spend up for Cleveland bats. Toronto offers a quality option or two. Should you really consider Royals and Padres stacks?

For those not familiar, my name is Dan Wehr and I am a new author here at WinDailyDFS. This article will provide a game by game DFS breakdown for the six game main slate on Draftkings and FanDuel, and I also provide some preferred stacks.

Los Angeles Dodgers @ Colorado Rockies

Over/Under: 12.5

Implied Run TotalLAD: 6.83 Runs

Implied Run Total COL: 5.67 Runs

Weather Concerns: N/A

Los Angeles DodgersClayton Kershaw (LHP) takes the mound in Colorado tonight. He is sporting a 2.85 ERA, 3.51 FIP, and 3.76 SIERA on the season. Kershaw has identical splits, carrying a .282 wOBA, .269 OBP, and .278 BABIP to both sides. Dodgers batters are slashing .338 wOBA, .209 ISO, and .298 BABIP over the last two weeks. They are hitting close to their season averages.

Preferred DFS Plays Max Muncy $4400 FD|$5400 DK. Cody Bellinger $5100 FD|$5800 DK. Matt Beaty $2800 FD| $3700 DK. Alex Verdugo $3800 FD |$4700 DK.

Colorado RockiesJon Gray (RHP) takes the mound tonight at home. He carries a 4.18 ERA, 4.20 FIP, and 4.19 SIERA on the year. Gray has identical splits, carrying a .338 wOBA, .339 OBP, and .439 SLG to both sides. Rockies batters are slashing .368 wOBA, .187 ISO, and .497 SLG over the last two weeks. They are hitting close to their season averages.

Preferred DFS Plays: Ian Desmond $2900 FD | $4600 DK. Charlie Blackmon $4400 FD | $5500 DK. Nolan Arenado $4100 FD | $5000 DK. Greg Hampson $2700 FD | $3200 DK.

Pittsburgh Pirates @ Milwaukee Brewers

Over/Under: 9.5

Implied Run TotalPIT: 3.80 Runs

Implied Run TotalMIL: 5.70 Runs

Weather Concerns: Dome

Pittsburgh PiratesJordan Lyles (RHP) on the mound tonight in Milwaukee. Lyles is sporting a 3.64 ERA, 3.67 FIP, and 4.74 SIERA on the season. He has true splits, carrying a .367 wOBA, .500 SLG, and .367 OBP to left handed batters. He has been particularly bad on the road against lefties. Pirates batters are slashing to a respectable .376 wOBA, .226 ISO, and .532 SLG against right handed batters over the last few weeks.

Preferred DFS PlaysCorey Dickerson $3100 FD | $4300 DK. Josh Bell $4500 FD | $5300 DK. Bryan Reynolds $3300 FD | $4500 DK. Colin Moran $2500 FD | $3900 DK. Elias Diaz $2500 FD | $3300 DK.

Milwaukee BrewersBrandon Woodruff (RHP) on the mound for the Brewers tonight. He has a 4.01 ERA, 3.07 FIP, and 3.53 SIERA on the season. Woodruff has true splits, carrying a .335 wOBA, .441 SLG, and .341 OBP against left handed batters this season. Brewers batters are currently slashing to a .315 wOBA, .170 ISO, and have a .402 SLG. They are hitting slightly below their season average over the last two weeks. Jordan Lyles is awful on the road vs. lefties and Milwaukee bats have been a bit pedestrian lately. I think the Brewers crack things open tonight and score some runs.

Preferred DFS Plays: Mike Moustakas $3700 FD | $4700 DK. Yasmani Grandal $3300 FD | $4400 DK. Christian Yelich $4500 FD | $5700 DK. Eric Thames $2700 FD | $4200 DK

Seattle Mariners @ Houston Astros

Over/Under: 9.5

Implied Run TotalSEA: 3.20 Runs

Implied Run TotalHOU: 6.30 Runs

Weather Concerns: Dome

Seattle Mariners Yusei Kikuchi (LHP) on the mound in Houston. He carries a 5.11 ERA, 5.55 FIP, and 5.10 SIERA on the season. Kikuchi has fairly similar splits and struggles quite a bit on the road. Kikuchi carries a .361 wOBA, .505 SLG, and .354 OBP against right handed batters. Everyone is waiting for the Astros to really break out again and I think this is a good spot for them to do so. Seattle batters are slashing to a .333 wOBA, .173 ISO, and .441 SLG over the last few weeks. They are hitting close to their season average.

Preferred DFS PlaysDaniel Vogelbach $3700 FD | $4000 DK. J.P. Crawford $3000 FD | $4200 DK.

Houston Astros Justin Verlander (RHP) on the mound tonight at home. He carries a 2.67 ERA, 3.77 FIP, and 3.17 SIERA on the season. Houston batters are hitting well above their season averages recently with a .448 wOBA, .337 ISO, and .647 SLG.

Preferred DFS Plays: Alex Bregman $4200 FD | $5100 DK. Jose Altuve $4000 | $4100 DK. Tyler White $2200 FD | $3200 DK. Jake Marisnick $2200 FD | $4000 DK. George Springer $4400 FD | $5400 DK.

Weather Concerns: N/A

Arizona DiamondbacksZack Greinke (RHP) takes the mound in San Francisco tonight. He is sporting a 2.91 ERA, 3.45 FIP, and 3.96 SIERA on the season. Greinke has identical splits, allowing a .260 wOBA, .249 OBP, and .252 BABIP to both sides. Greinke gets a ballpark boost and has the clear advantage against a weak SFG offense. Arizona batters are slashing to a .272 wOBA, .127 ISO, and .349 SLG over the last few weeks. They are hitting well below their season averages.

Preferred DFS PlaysKetel Marte $4100 FD | $5200 DK. Eduardo Escobar $4200 FD | $4800 DK. Christian Walker $3000 FD | $4000 DK.

San Francisco GiantsDrew Pomeranz (LHP) is on the mound at home. He carries a 7.09 ERA, 6.01 FIP, and 4.68 SIERA on the year. Pomeranz has true splits as right handed batters are slashing to a .412 wOBA, .594 SLG, and .396 OBP against him this season. San Francisco batters are slashing to a .307 wOBA, .178 ISO, and .418 SLG over the last few weeks. They are hitting above their season averages.

Preferred DFS Plays – N/A

Oakland Athletics @ Los Angeles Angels

Over/Under: 9.5

Implied Run TotalOAK: 4.40 Runs

Implied Run TotalLAA: 5.10 Runs

Weather Concerns: N/A

Oakland AthleticsBrett Anderson (LHP) is on the mound in Anaheim tonight. Anderson has a 4.26 ERA, 5.15 FIP, and 5.44 SIERA on the season. He is a ground ball pitcher with a hefty 52% GB rate. Anderson carries a .295 wOBA .383 SLG, and .304 OBP against him on the road. Oakland batters are slashing to a .371 wOBA, .273 ISO, and .580 SLG to left handed pitching over the last few weeks.

Los Angeles AngelsTyler Skaggs (LHP) is on the mound for the Angels this evening. He carries a 4.30 ERA, 4.25 FIP, and 4.40 SIERA on the year. Skaggs tends to be hot and cold and the last time he faced the A’s he ended up getting hit around a bit. The A’s lineup is full of right handed power and Skaggs is carrying a .310 wOBA, .407 SLG, and 318 OBP to them on the year. Angels batters are slashing .to a 266 wOBA, .073 ISO, and .305 SLG over the last two weeks, They are hitting well below their season averages over the last two weeks.

Preferred DFS Plays: Mike Trout $4700 FD | $5600 DK. Shohei Ohtani $4100 FD | $5100 DK. Albert Pujols $3000 FD | $3900 DK. Kole Calhoun $3200 FD | $4300 DK.

St. Louis Cardinals @ San Diego Padres

Over/Under: 8

Implied Run TotalSTL: 3.71 Runs

Implied Run Total SDP: 4.29 Runs

Weather Concerns: N/A

St. Louis CardinalsDakota Hudson (RHP) takes the mound in San Diego. He has a 3.36 ERA, 4.67 FIP, and 4.72 SIERA on the season. Hudson struggles mightily against left handed batters, carrying a 386 wOBA, .532 SLG, and .396 OBP so far this season. He has a massive ground ball rate of 62% and an extremely low fly ball rate of 17%. Cardinals batters are slashing .283 wOBA, .123 wOBA, and 74 WRC+. They have struggled all season with right handed pitching.

Preferred DFS PlaysDakota Hudson $8400 FD | $6900 DK.

San Diego Padres Chris Paddack (RHP) is on the mound at home this evening. He has a 3.18 ERA, 3.99 FIP, and 3.87 SIERA this season. Paddack has a 45% hard contact rate and 40% fly ball rate. He has identical splits, carrying a .261 wOBA, .370 SLG, and .257 OBP against both sides this season. The Cardinals have struggled a ton against righties as of late and Paddack certainly has the arm talent to get the QS and win against this porous Cardinals lineup. The only concern I have is Paddack is not an innings eater, averaging four or five IP per game. Padres batters are slashing to a .358 wOBA, .214 ISO, and .493 SLG against right handed pitching over the last two weeks. They are hitting well above their season averages.

Preferred DFS Plays – Chris Paddack $8100 FD | $8300 DK. Fernando Tatis Jr. $4000 FD | $5500 DK. Manny Machado $3900 FD | $4900 DK. Franmil Reyes $2800 FD | $4100 DK.

Dwehrj08’s Favorite DFS Plays

Top Pitchers

  1. Chris Paddack (Not an innings eater so tread carefully)
  2. Dakota Hudson
  3. Zack Greinke

Top Stacks

  1. Houston Astros
  2. Milwaukee Brewers
  3. Arizona Diamondbacks
  4. For good measure I will most definitely have exposure to Coors, as should you. This game isn’t my top priority but the implied run total here just simply cannot be ignored.

DFS PROS Jason Mezrahi and Mark Paquette get into the full MLB schedule as they speak on the 6/29 MLB DFS Podcast. They break down the two different slates on FanDuel. There are a ton of options in both slates and the obvious Coors Field game to factor in.

6/29 MLB DFS Podcast Early Slate Notes

On the early only slate there are a couple ways to attack from the hitting perspective but there is not one clear cut stack option. Listen to our 6/29 MLB DFS Podcast takes on the Minnesota Twins, Washington Nationals, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Mets, and the Atlanta Braves.

We also dive into some rookie pitchers on 6/29 MLB DFS Podcast: Austin Voth and Brendan McKay may provide big value on the early slate.

Can we stack at Coors Field again?

Looks like there could be some potential fireworks again in the slate with another Coors Field matchup, therefore attack the spot again. Let’s not forget about the Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers, and the matchup in Los Angeles which could go underowned in the late slate. Take a listen to the 6/29 MLB DFS Podcast and get a game-by-game MLB DFS breakdown for all your Saturday games.

This Friday slate feels weird with only 14 games on the schedule, and arguably the two most popular/famous teams in the Yankees and Red Sox, not playing as they prepare for their two game series in London. There is another Coors game on the slate (after last night’s slugfest). Another wrinkle in this slate is the lengthy game the Twins and Rays played Thursday afternoon that stretched into the evening. Their bullpens will be taxed and their opponent’s bats (Rangers and White Sox) could get a boost here. Luckily, we have the Dodgers and Rockies as they continue their 4-game entertaining series. Will another slugfest ensue tonight?

Catcher:

Austin Barnes, Dodgers at Rockies ($2,900 FD, $3,900 DK): We will have to make sure he is in the lineup tonight at Coors. But with Russell Martin the only other catcher on the roster for the Dodgers at Coors, there is a really good chance Barnes gets the call again tonight. We will stress this over and over again in this article: Senzatela, the starter for the Rockies is awful, especially at Coors. We want as many Dodger bats as we can tonight. And Barnes is a rare Dodger bat that is affordable.

Sign up NOW for WIN DAILY Premium Gold right here! Projections, weather reports, wagering info, 24/7 expert chats and more!

First Base

Joc Pederson ($4,000 FD); Max Muncy ($5,600 DK) Dodgers at Rockies: These were my picks last night for the Dodgers. And nothing has changed tonight. Lets do a dive into how bad Sentzatela has been: 33.1 innings at Coors, 40 hits, 23 earned runs (good for a 6.21 ERA), 13 walks, only 21 strikeouts and five HRs given up. Listen, these pair of Dodger bats are not affordable. But you need to have as many Dodger bats as possible. It really isn’t too complicated.

Second Base

Brian Dozier, Nationals at Tigers ($2,500 FD, $3,400 DK): A cost-saving option to continue to try to save for other big bats in Coors, Dozier is a notorious lefty masher. Even though he is not having a great year, he is still is hitting lefties well and with power. Five HRs in only 63 ABS against lefties proves that point. He also has a .349 batting average and an OPS of 1.097. Opposing starting pitcher Daniel Norris is not adverse to giving up the long ball. In 267 ABs vs right-handed batters, he has already given up 11 HRs.

Shortstop

Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres at Cardinals ($4,000 FD, $5,600 DK): A relative bargain on FD where is the fourth most expensive SS as compared to DK where he is the most costly. In either case, he may be worth it. Opposing starting pitcher Michael Wacha has given up 12 HRs in only 160 ABs to righties. And there are fewer hotter hitters, either righty of lefty, than Tatis. He has two or more hits in three of his last six games. In that stretch, he has five RBI, nine runs, two stolen bases, six walks, seven hits and a HR. This guy is simply filling up the stat sheet and batting leadoff on the road, he is guaranteed maxing out ABs.

Third Base

Justin Turner, Dodgers at Rockies ($3,900 FD, $5,000 DK): Another relative bargain on FD, this Dodger stud will likely bat third. As mentioned yesterday, he actually hits right-handers better than lefties. All we have to do is look at Senzatela’s stats above to realize what a great spot this Dodger is in. Can’t hurt to try to get more bats from this likely slugfest.

Outfielders

Alex Verdugo, Dodgers at Rockies ($3,600 FD, $4,900 DK): Lets get another Dodger batter in here. Well I am not going to stop at just one. I am going to add Kiki Hernandez ($3,500 FD, $4,600 DK) to add this list as well. Hernandez is also eligible as a Second Baseman on DK. Do I need to add details about why I like these guys? I will say, Kiki’s hitting profile is fantastic for this matchup. He has been hitting the ball in the top ten percentile in terms of exit velocity over the last month and we want as many players from this slugfest as possible. .

Jake Cave, Twins at White Sox ($2,200 FD, $3,200 DK): Again, we need some savings tonight to afford Coors bats. Twins outfielders Rosario and Kepler are battling nagging injuries and could get the day off. Make sure Cave is in the lineup against the Pale Hose right-hander Carson Fulmer but if he is in fire him up. Cave had five HRs in very limited time in the minors this season and has added one more at the major league level. He certainly has power to spare.

Thursday’s MLB action includes two slates for DFS purposes. So below we have four stacks to target with your DFS lineups, two for the afternoon games and then two more for the main DFS slate.

Sign up NOW forWIN DAILY Premium Gold right here!Projections, weather reports, wagering info, 24/7 expert chats and more!

Milwaukee Brewers

The Mariners will be starting Mike Leake on the bump in this one. Leake is allowing 1.96 HR/9 this season. With the Brewers having already hit 93 home runs against right-handed pitching this season, it is safe to say they have a really good chance of tacking a few more onto that total in this one. We can attack Leake from either side of the plate today. He is allowing a .342 wOBA to lefties and 2.42 HR/9 to righties.

So ofcourse, we want to load up on some Brewers and our Milwaukee stack will startwith Christian Yelich (FanDuel: $4,800 DraftKings: $5,800). Yelich has a .417ISO versus right-handed pitching Some other Brewers’ bats worth considering are:Mike Moustakas (FanDuel: $3,800 DraftKings: $4,800), Yasmani Grandal (FanDuel:$3,500 DraftKings: $4,700). Both bats have ISOs above .200 versus righties in2019. And do not forget about Ryan Braun (FanDuel: $3,000 DraftKings: $4,400). Theoutfielder has a 1.043 OPS over his last seven games. If you need to get acheaper bat, Eric Thames (FanDuel: $2,500 DraftKings: $4,300) is your guy.

Houston Astros

Afterdisappointing the Win Daily Family on Wednesday, we are going to go right backto the Astros’ stack today. The Pirates’ Joe Musgrove is a guy that Houstonshould be able to get to. The right-hander has a 4.61 SIERA and a 4.67 xFIP whilestriking out just 19% of the batters he has faced in 2019. Houston has had alot of success against righties this season as the offense has a .334 wOBA anda 113 wRC+ against the handness.

Musgrove strugglesparticularly against left-handed bats. He is allowing a .346 wOBA and a 40.4%hard contact rate to lefties in 2019. With that in mind, we will want to startour Astros’ build with Yordan Alvarez (FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $5,100). TheHouston slugger has a .450 ISO and a .472 wOBA against righties this season.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Any time the Dodgers’ offense is opposed by a righty, they have to be considered for stacking purposes. Against right-handed pitching this season, Los Angeles has been very successful. As a team they have a .210 ISO and a .344 wOBA against right-handed pitching. And when they get to face a right-hander in the thin air of Colorado they are a no-brainer stacking option.

The Dodgers’stack needs to be all about the left-handed bats to start. The Rockies’ PeterLambert is allowing a .408 wOBA to lefties this season as well as a 2.35 HR/9.  This is likely due to his 58.3% hard contactrate allowed to left-handed batters in 2019.

So your L.A. building blocks would include the likes of: Joc Pederson (FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $5,400), Cody Bellinger (FanDuel: $5,000 DraftKings: $5,900) and Max Muncy (FanDuel: $4,300 DraftKings: $5,600). All three of these Dodgers’ left-handed batters have accumulated at least a .240 ISO versus right-handed pitching.

Los Angeles Angels

You are going to want to pick on Oakland’s Tanner Anderson on Thursday. Anderson is allowing a 46.8% hard contact rate this season as well as a low 7.7% swing strike rate. The Athletics’ starter is not missing many bats. And maybe the best thing about Anderson is that he is very predictable. He throws his sinker on 62% of his pitches.

With that inmind we want to build our Angels’ DFS stack starting with Mike Trout (FanDuel:$4,700 DraftKings: $5,800). The outfielder has a .341 batting average againstthe sinker this season. Shohei Ohtani (FanDuel: $3,600 DraftKings: $4,700)should also be a piece to your Angels’ puzzle. He has a .500 ISO against thesinker in 2019. And don’t forget about Tommy La Stella (FanDuel: $3,200DraftKings: $4,400). The infielder has a .419 batting average against thesinker this season.

It’s a strange Thursday DFS slate with 10 games, but at least there is a Coors game between the Dodgers and the Rockies! Two of the most well-known teams in MLB in the Yankees and the Red Sox are traveling (or have already arrived at this point) to London, England in preparation for a historic, two-game series in one of the most prestigious cities in the world. Temperatures are going to be hot in Coors so the ball will carry even better than normal.

First Basemen

Joc Pederson, FanDuel Only ($4,100): For whatever reason, FanDuel has Joc Pederson as a First Baseman at Coors Field as the Dodgers visit the Rockies. Well isn’t that convenient ladies and gentlemen! He will be batting leadoff for the Dodgers, and with warm temperatures at Coors, expect the ball to carry well. Obviously, he is in his correct position on DraftKings so on that site let’s go with his Dodgers teammate Max Muncy ($5,600 DK). Both players are notorious righty mashers with 20 and 11 HRs, respectively, on the season. By the way, Muncy is listed as a second basemen on FanDuel. Peter Lambert has been blasted in his first two career starts at Coors so we can expect the same in this start.

Second Basemen

Luis Arraez, Rays at Twins ($2,600 FD, $3,500 DK): In only 17 games, Arraez is hitting .436 on 17 hits in 39 ABs with three doubles, eight walks, eight runs scored, four RBIs and a home run. To be able to afford some big bats from the Dodgers and Rockies game in Coors, you are going to need some bargains. Facing a likely bullpen game, this left-handed batter from Venezuela will likely start the game as long as a right-handed opens for the Rays.

Shortstop

Garrett Hampson, Dodgers at Rockies ($2,700 FD, $3,300 DK but listed as a 2B/OF): This top-prospect was recently recalled from the minors and seems ready this time. On Wednesday, Hampson went two for four with two runs, a double and a stolen base. With Brandon Rodgers joining Trevor Story on the IL, shortstop is Hampson’s position for the foreseeable future. The only issue the Rockies face tonight is ace right-handed Walker Buehler of the Dodgers.

Third Basemen

Justin Turner, Dodgers at Rockies ($3,900 FD,$4,900 DK): Dodgers third baseman Turner is a reverse-splits guy, meaning he hits righties better than lefties even though he himself is a right-handed batter. Turner’s batting average and OPS against righties is considerably better than against lefties. Probably batting third in the order behind Pederson and Muncy, this Dodger stud will get plenty of opportunities to produce.

Outfielders

Dominic Smith, Mets at Phillies ($2,400 FD, $4,100 DK): Just pencil him in into your all-day FD lineup. Dominic is also first base eligible on DK to give you extra flexibility. There are fewer hotter bats in the league and the savings he gives you allows you to get those Coors bats you want. Smith has hit home runs in three consecutive games and reached base four times in last night’s game. With temperatures expected to be near 90 degrees for this afternoon game, expect the ball to be flying out of Citizens Bank Park.

Kyle Schwarber, Braves at Cubs ($3,200 FD, $3,600 DK): For as much power as Schwarber possesses, his price is extremely affordable. Throw in the fact that he will be playing in an afternoon game with temperatures in the 80s and against an unproven Braves starter in Bryse Wilson. His WHIP is over two in a tiny sample size, Schwarber could be in for a good game.

Boston Red Sox

Whenever the White Sox run Reynaldo Lopez to the bump, there should be interest in stacking against him. The right-hander is basically everything we look for when searching for a pitcher to target against. Lopez is a flyball pitcher with a 48.3% rate. And the flyballs have led to home runs, as Lopez is allowing 2.18 HR/9 this season. On top of the flyballs and home runs, the biggest reason to target Lopez is that he is predictable. The White Sox starter is throwing a four-seam fastball on 57% of his pitches. On that type of pitch, Lopez is allowing a .395 xwOBA and has a 6.58 xFIP.

So of course, we want to get some Red Sox in our DFS lineups for Wednesday. The Boston stack needs to start with Mookie Betts (FanDuel: $4,200 DraftKings: $5,300). The outfielder has the best matchup of any of the Red Sox’s batters. Betts has a .242 ISO versus right-handed pitching while Lopez is allowing a .357 wOBA to right batters. Betts also has a .255 ISO against the four-seam fastball. Some other Boston bats worth considering for your DFS entries are: Rafael Devers (FanDuel: $3,700 DraftKings: $5,300) and Xander Bogaerts (FanDuel: $4,000 DraftKings: $5,100). Both bats have ISOs above .200 versus righties in 2019. And no Boston stack is complete without giving J.D. Martinez (FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $5,000) a look. The outfielder has a .320 ISO versus four-seam fastballs.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Any time the Dodgers’ offense is opposed by a righty, they have to be considered for stacking purposes. Against right-handed pitching this season, Los Angeles has been very successful. They have a .210 ISO and a .345 wOBA against right-handed pitching.

The Diamondbacks’ Taylor Clarke has a 4.90 SIERA and a 5.47 xFIP. On the season he is allowing a 48.3% flyball rate. You can benefit from both sides of the plate against Clarke, but you will prefer to use lefties. The Arizona starter is allowing a .416 wOBA and 2.6 HR/9 to lefty bats.

So, your L.A. building blocks for your DFS lineups should include the likes of: Joc Pederson (FanDuel: $3,100 DraftKings: $4,700), Cody Bellinger (FanDuel: $4,500 DraftKings: $5,800) and Max Muncy (FanDuel: $3,800 DraftKings: $5,000). All three of these Dodgers’ left-handed batters have accumulated at least a .240 ISO versus right-handed pitching and should hit a few balls hard against the Arizona starter in this one.

Oakland Athletics

The Orioleswill be starting Josh Rogers on Wednesday. Although it is an extremely smallsample size, it is safe that the Baltimore starter is a dumpster fire. In eightinnings this season he has a 6.72 SIERA and a 7.93 xFIP. He is allowing a 46.7%flyball rate and has an extremely low 5.4% K-rate. And if you need furtherevidence that Rogers has been awful in limited action this season, the hurlerhas allowed a 53.3% hard contact rate and a 3.38 HR/9 in 2019.

In his first outing of the season, Rogers was lit up by Oakland. He allowed five earned runs while recording just 11 outs. Look for more of the same this go-’round. The Athletics’ offense has crushed southpaws in 2019. They have a .225 ISO and a .355 wOBA collectively against left-handed pitching. You will want to go four deep with this stack.

Los Angeles Angels

The Angels’ offense as a whole is seeing beach balls at the plate right now. Over the last seven days, Los Angeles has a .249 ISO and a .341 wOBA. During that span they have 12 home runs and 34 runs scored.

A matchupwith Toronto’s Aaron Sanchez should do little to slow down this Angels’ hotstreak. He has a 5.32 SIERA and a 5.19 xFIP on the season. And over his last 15innings pitched Sanchez has been even worse. In that time on the mound he hasallowed a .311/.397/.557 slash line. Expect the Angels to produce big again onWednesday.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The Giants’Drew Pomeranz is allowing 2.02 HR/9 in 2019. That number may actually increaseon Wednesday as the Dodgers’ bats flex their muscles against southpaws. LosAngeles has four batters with ISOs over .200 against left-handed pitching thisseason.

Game Stack Special

You will want to get a lineup chalked full of Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers on Wednesday. This game stack is likely to go off in a big way as both scheduled pitchers are struggling in the worst of ways. The Indians’ Adam Pluko is allowing a 50.7% flyball rate which has resulted in the starter allowing a 3.09 HR/9. The Rangers’ Joe Palumbo has allowed a 42.9% flyball rate and a 2.25 HR/9 ratio.
