On this Win Daily Show, we have @StixPicks 2020 QB Evaluation for the upcoming Fantasy Football Season.

Nick Bretwisch joins Michael Rasile to discuss the 2020 Fantasy Football Quarterback outlook. Through the lens of strength of schedule, past performances, and future projections, they breakdown the top 36 QBs that could potentially be drafted in your Fantasy Football draft.

In this show, we are discussing where we are targeting some of our favorite QBs, how late we are willing to go before drafting a QB, what 2QB league drafts might look like, and more.

Through the discuss Nick and Michael also look at what other options may be available on the board, especially in the beginning of your draft when Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes are expected to be taken.

They dive deep into the QB class and talk about who some sleepers to the year can be, who is underrated, and who they are not interested in touching. The NFL DFS Divisional Round is about finding the best opportunities for guaranteed production with a high upside. Follow my stud and value GPP plays and lock in the NFL DFS Picks of Destiny.

David Jones won 100K on FanDuel! Read about it here!

David also won back-to-back GPPs!

NFL DFS Playoff Weekend Note: This week we have a two-game Saturday slate, a two-game Sunday slate, and a four-game Sat-Sun slate. The two games slates are basically a Showdown Slate without the MVP spot. I encourage you to not scramble your entire lineup by pivoting off all of the best plays. Instead, make a solid lineup and take a shot on one or two guys and/or defense. You will notice some of my NFL DFS punts are way off the radar. That’s what you have to do on such a small slate.

Please listen to Podcasts. The entire Win Daily Crew has broken down the slate on multiple podcasts. We get much deeper on those than we can on these articles.

I refer to FanDuel pricing.

Quarterbacks:

QB1: Lamar Jackson ($9,400 FD) He is expensive but he also has the highest floor and ceiling. It is not impossible to get him in your lineups. He is the NFL MVP and we all know why. He is my top guy.

QB2: Patrick Mahomes ($8,600 FD) While he has not been as elite as last year he is passing the eye test after sustaining an ankle injury early in the year. The Chiefs are coming off a “bye” and Andy Reid is fantastic in these situations (in the regular season). They are playing at home against the Houston Texans who rank 29th in NFL DFS pass defense.

QB Punt: Deshaun Watson ($8,300 FD) I am not as high on him as the other two guys, so that’s why I listed him as a punt. I think the Texans lose which means more throwing for Watson and he should have Will Fuller back (for at least part of the game). He ran 14 times last week and that just adds value to him and his arm. If I had 10 lineups, I would put him in one.

NFL DFS Running Backs

Stud RB 1: Aaron Jones ($8,200 FD) He should get 75% of the snaps in a very cold game in Green Bay that I think the Packers win. The offense runs through him, Rodgers and Adams. He is also involved in the passing game, which makes me like him on DraftKings as well.

Stud RB 2: Derrick Henry ($9,600 FD) He is priced high but that’s because he will probably run it over 20 times and he looks unstoppable right now.

Mid RB 1: Raheem Mostert ($6,700 FD) Way too cheap for the 49ers top RB. Easy NFL DFS play.

Mid RB 2: Damien Williams ($6,900 FD) He is the lead running back on a Chiefs team that I expect to role on Sunday. He is also involved in the passing game. I like players that can score in multiple ways.

Mid RB 3: Mark Ingram ($7,500 FD) Make sure he is playing, and not limited. He does not get as many touches as Henry or Jones but he can do a lot with a little less, especially in a game the Ravens should win easily. I don’t have a problem playing him with Lamar Jackson. It has worked several times this season.

NFL DFS Punt RB: Punt = high risk and high reward. Again, it’s a two or four-game slate, depending on what you choose. You are going to need to get weird on one or two plays.

Punt RB 1: Duke Johnson ($5,600 FD) I like him better on DraftKings in a play from behind game because of the PPR structure.

I will update again closer to Sunday. Be sure to check back.

NFL DFS Wide Receivers:

Stud WR: Devante Adams ($8,400 FD) Target Monster and Rodgers focuses heavily on the guys he trusts (which is not a lot). Easy play that should bust like Michael Thomas did last week.

Stud WR 2: Tyreek Hill ($7,900 FD) He is probably in the best spot of any receiver on the slate against the Texans. TyFreak can explode and the first game of the playoffs, at home against a bad defense feels like the right spot to attack.

NFL DFS Mid WR rankings:

Deebo Samuels ($6,100) He has been very steady the past month and a half and is priced too cheap.

Emanuel Sanders ($5,700 FD) I just want one 49ers receiver unless I have Jimmy G at QB. I prefer Samuels but I do like Sanders too. If you make two teams use one on each.

Tyler Lockett ($6,700 FD) He is the most talented receiver on the team, he is cheaper than Metcalf and they should be playing from behind. Makes sense right?

Punt WR Rankings: Marquise Brown, Willie Snead, Sammy Watkins, David Moore

NFL DFS Tight End Rankings

  1. Mark Andrews ($6,800 FD)
  2. Travis Kelce ($7,500 FD)
  3. George Kittle ($7,400 FD)
  4. Jimmy Graham ($5,000 FD)

Defense

  1. Ravens
  2. 49ers
  3. Chiefs
  4. Packers

Week 17 in NFL DFS is about finding the best opportunities for guaranteed production with a high upside. Follow my stud and value GPP plays and lock in the NFL DFS Picks of Destiny.

David Jones won 100K on FanDuel! Read about it here!

David also won back-to-back GPPs!

NFL DFS Wild Card Weekend Note: This week we have a two game Saturday slate, a two game Sunday slate and a four game Sat-Sun slate. The two games slates are basically a Showdown Slate without the MVP spot. I encourage you to not scramble your entire lineup by pivoting off all of the best plays. Instead make a solid lineup and take a shot on one or two guys and/or a defense. You will notice some of my NFL DFS punts are way off the radar. Thats what you have to do on such a small slate.

I refer to FanDuel pricing.

Quarterbacks:

QB1: Josh Allen ($7,800 FD) One of my favorite quarterbacks of the year against the worst defense (in my opinion)on the four game slate in Houston. He runs, he throws, he hits value and is cheaper than Brees.

QB2: Drew Brees ($8,500 FD) Saints are going to slaughter the Vikings. The revenge will be real in New Orleans. If you don’t have Bree’s you have to play Kamara and/or the Saints defense.

QB Punt: Deshaun Watson ($8,100 FD) He always has upside but may be lower owned that he should because of his price and his dud performance last week. I respect the Bills defense a lot, but it’s a small slate and Watson has a high ceiling. No one expected him to put up 28 FD points on the Patriots and 30 on the Broncos in Denver the past month. He can do it again if he is on, he ranks third on my list.

NFL DFS Running Backs

Stud RB 1: Alvin Kamara ($8,200 FD) Saints win big. Refer to Bree’s write up above. You want a piece of this offense.

Stud RB 2: Derrick Henry ($9,300 FD) He is too big and too strong and too quick to get stopped even with the Patriots focused on him. If I were the Titans OC I would pound the hell out of the ball and try and keep Brady off the field. Henry will do his job for your NFL DFS lineups.

Mid RB 1: Devin Singletary ($6,200 FD)

Mid RB 2: James White ($6,200 FD)

Mid RB 3: Travis Homer ($6,100 FD) He is a better play on DK because of his pass catching ability. I expect low ownership on him.

NFL DFS Punt RB: Punt = high risk and high reward. Again, it’s a two or four game slate, depending on what you choose. You are going to need to get weird on one or two plays.

Punt RB 1: Duke Johnson ($5,600 FD) I like him better on DK

Punt RB 2: Marshawn Lynch ($5,900 FD) He is going to get a shot or two in the red zone to pound it in.

Punt RB 3: Rex Burkhead ($5,600 FD)

Note: I love Boston Scott if Miles Sanders is out or limited

I will update again closer to Sunday. Be sure to check back.

NFL DFS Wide Receivers:

Stud WR: Micheal Thomas ($8.900 FD) Obvious.

Stud WR 2: DeAndre Hopkins ($8,300 FD) Also Obvious. Fuller unlikely to play or contribute if he does.

Stud WR 3: Julian Edelman ($7,000 FD) Playoff Edelman is a thing.

Love all three of the studs. I am trying to get two of the three in most of my lineups and on my one main team.

NFL DFS Mid WR rankings:

John Brown ($6,500 FD) You throw to your best WR in the playoffs. Brown is that guy for the Bills and priced just slightly higher than Beasley (who is also a decent play).

Greg Ward ($5,600 FD) He is the Eagles top receiver and priced like their third best. I like him a lot, especially if Ertz is out or limited.

Adam Thielen ($6,200 FD) Better play on DraftKings. If (big if) he is healthy he is way underpriced for a team that will be playing from behind.

Punt WR Rankings: Kenny Stills, Tajae Sharpe, Phillip Dorsett, David Moore

NFL DFS Tight End Rankings

  1. Jared Cook ($6,500 FD)
  2. Dallas Goedert ($6,700 FD)
  3. Jacob Hollister ($5,700 FD)
  4. Jonnu Smith ($5,800 FD)
  5. Punt: Joshua Perkins ($5,500 FD)
  6. Deep Punt: Taysom Hill ($5,400 FD) This guys comes in and plays QB, RB, WR and TE and is listed at min price at the tight end postion. He has three touchdowns the past five weeks. Nobody respects this guy except Saints fans and myself and I still don’t understand why. Deep Punt.

Defense

  1. Saints
  2. Patriots
  3. Bills

David Jones won 100K on FanDuel! Read about it here!

David also won back-to-back GPPs!

Quarterbacks:

QB1: Patrick Mahomes ($8,600 FD)

The Chiefs need to win this game. They are at home and get a terrible Chargers team to pick on. All of Mahomes receivers are healthy and all of his running backs catch passes. He has thrown two touchdowns in each of the past two games and has looked more comfortable scrambling since the ankle injury at the beginning of the season. The Chiefs are going to win the game and the offense will run entirely through Mahomes. He is my top NFL DFS QB this week.

QB2: Ryan Tannehill ($7,900 FD)

The Titans also need to win this game. Tannehill has been a terrific addition to the Tennessee offense since he took over. He is getting you 20 FD points a game pretty much and gets to go against an easy defensive backfield (which gives him more upside). The Titans win this game and if it isn’t Henry scoring, it’s Tannehill.

Pivot: Carson Wentz

Punt: Tom Brady

Running Backs

Studs: Aaron Jones, Ezekiel Elliot, Derrick Henry, CMC, Alvin Kamara, Nick Chubb

Each guy listed above has two touchdown upside and each of their teams has something to play for (with the exception of CMC who is chasing a receiving record). I am locking in three running backs on my FanDuel teams this week and getting cheap at wide receiver, when necessary. They are listed in order of preference.

Punt: Lat Murray (on non-Kamara teams), James White (Sony Questionable with illness)

I will update again closer to Sunday. Be sure to check back.

Wide Receiver

Stud WR: Micheal Thomas ($9,200 FD)

I like him more on DK because of the PPR structure but he is a great NFL DFS cash gameplay on either site. Last week he broke the single-season reception record and will just continue to put that record out of reach this Sunday in a game the Saints need to win. He is the most talented receiver in 2019 and should once again prove it against the Carolina Panthers who have nothing to play for aside from being Saints spoilers.

Stud Pivots: Davante Adams ($8,400 FD), Tyreek Hill ($8,200 FD)

Mid WR in order: Tyler Boyd ($6,600 FD), Courtland Sutton ($7,100 FD), Golden Tate ($5,900 FD)

Value Wide Receivers in order: Russel Gage ($5,300 FD), Greg Ward ($5,600 FD), Steven Sims Jr. ($6,000 FD), Justin Watson ($6,100 FD)

Tight End Rankings

  1. Travis Kelce ($7,500 FD)
  2. Dallas Goedert ($6,400 FD)
  3. Jonnu Smith ($5,800 FD)

Defense

  1. Patriots
  2. Steelers
  3. Chiefs
  4. Packers
  5. Saints

NFL DFS Week 16 GPP Picks Of Destiny

Week 16 in NFL DFS is about finding the best opportunities for guaranteed production with a high upside. Follow my stud and value GPP plays and lock in the NFL DFS Picks of Destiny.

David Jones won 100K on FanDuel! Read about it here!

David also won back-to-back GPPs!

Quarterbacks:

Stud: Lamar Jackson ($9,300 FD)

The MVP frontrunner goes against the Cleveland Browns. There isn’t a concern with the Ravens sitting Lamar (that’s next week). Baltimore is still playing for the top seed in the AFC and will their offense will be a full go. Jackson is your cash game quarterback and possesses the highest upside for GPP’s. 25 FD points are his floor with 30+ upside in NFL DFS. He runs, he throws, he’s perfect. Easy lock as the top guy.

Pivot: Russell Wilson

Mid QB: Phillip Rivers ($7,500 FD)

If there was ever a time for Rivers to bounce out of his funk, it is against the Oakland Raiders. They have given up. They got embarrassed last week in the Black Hole finale and I think that was the last straw. Rivers is the quarterback of my favorite receiver (Keenan Allen) and low owned pass-catching running back (Austin Ekeler), so I have to like Rivers. The Raiders are sneaking up on the Arizona Cardinals as the worst pass defense in the league. They have given up 32 TDs on the season and show give up a minimum of two more here (I think we get more).

Mid Pivot: Matt Ryan

Punt: Drew Lock

Running Backs

Stud RB: Marlon Mack ($7,300 FD)

Welcome to Marlon Mack island. You may have drafted him in season-long with high expectations and he has let you down. Well if you are in your Championship this week, lock him in. The best team to target with running backs is the Carolina Panthers. We have been doing it for two months. We did it with Chris Carson last week and it worked out great so why would we stop now when we have a bell cow going against them at extremely low ownership? The Panthers have given up 26 touchdowns this season (seven more than the next closest team). He is going to be on my main NFL DFS team this week.

Stud Pivot: Alvin Kamara, Saquon Barkley, Mark Ingram

Mid RB: Joe Mixon ($7,800 FD)

The Dolphins have been making opposing offensive players look like studs all season. They resurrected Saquan Barkley last week and now it is Joe Mixon’s turn. He has run for over 136 yards in each of the past two games and three touchdowns in the last four. He is peaking right now and there is no reason to believe that it going to stop against one of the best defenses to target in the NFL. Get some Mixon, and don’t feel so dirty about it this week in NFL DFS.

Mid Pivot: Austin Ekeler (love him as a sneaky Pro Bowl snub against the Oakland Raiders. I am taking a big shot on him this week, especially on DraftKings.), Devonte Freeman

Value RB Pivot: DeAndre Washington, Patrick Laird (DK)

I will update again closer to Sunday. Be sure to check back.

Wide Receiver

Stud WR: Keenan Allen ($6,700 FD)

Load up, it’s Keenan Allen week. Go read the Phillip Rivers write up on why we want to target the Oakland Raiders. Perfect spot and the perfect price.

Stud Pivots: Michael Thomas (cash), Julio Jones, TY Hilton, Tyler Lockett (price a little high, but in a good spot)

Mid WR: DK Metcalf ($6,300 FD)

Although the Raiders are closing in, the Arizona Cardinals are still (by the numbers) the best defense to target with wide receivers. Metcalf has a significantly cheaper price tag than Tyler Lockett and gets basically the same volume and redone targets. It’s Week 16, we don’t have to keep reinventing the wheel in NFL DFS. In the next couple of weeks, I am going after what has proven to work the entire season.

Pivots: Michael Gallup, Courtland Sutton, Tyler Boyd (I usually like him just at home, but he is way too cheap), Terry McLaurin, Mike Williams (on non-Keenan Allen teams), DeVante Parker

NFL DFS Punt Wide Receivers: Russel Gage (love), Danny Amendola (DK), John Ross (huge punt)

Tight End Rankings

  1. Jacob Hollister (tight ends against the Arizona Cardinals win almost every week)
  2. Austin Hooper
  3. Mark Andrews
  4. Hunter Henry
  5. Jared Cook

Defense

  1. Steelers
  2. Ravens
  3. Broncos
  4. Colts
  5. Saints

I will tweet out when there are NFL DFS updates. Be sure to follow me @tenaciousdjones on Twitter so you don’t miss out!

The quarterback is the most important position in sports, let alone football. Choosing the correct quarterback on your DFS lineup could be the difference between winning a tournament and walking out empty-handed. With that all out of the way, let’s get into the Quarterbacks DFS Picks for Cash Games, GPP and who to punt!

Week 16 Quarterback Cash Game Plays

Russell Wilson, ARI vs SEA

DK ($7,000) FD ($8,300)

Russell Wilson vs Arizona’s defense, that is all. It looks like he is rediscovering a connection with Tyler Lockett, which is key with Josh Gordon being suspended. In his last five games, Wilson is averaging 240 yards. The Cardinals are allowing 306.9 passing yards per game and are still the defense I expect to crumble. Especially with the different playoff situations that could happen, this should be the building block for the Seahawks to win the NFC West.

Lamar Jackson, BAL @ CLE

DK ($8,000) FD ($9,300)

Do I even need to give you numbers for this one? The only reason you could argue this is questioning how long Jackson will be in the game. This Cleveland Browns team has completely given up and are now iffy at best. Lamar had a great game last time these two met as he went for 247 passing yards with three touchdowns and two picks. He also ran nine times for 66 yards. Expect another Lamar Jackson-esque game here.

Dak Prescott, DAL @ PHI

DK ($6,400) FD ($8,000)

His appearance on the injury report and being limited in practice does not scare me in the least. Philadelphia is tied for allowing the seventh-most passing touchdowns to quarterbacks this season. The Eagles also allow a lot of big passing plays with 14 passes of at least 40 yards. The injuries that have stockpiled on their offense will allow Prescott to control the ball. Last week’s annihilation of the Rams also plays a factor in this decision. Expect a solid game and the NFC East clinched here.

Week 16 Quarterback GPP Plays

Matt Ryan, JAX vs ATL

DK ($6,200) FD ($7,700)

Ryan has thrown for multiple touchdowns for the last two games. He also has not thrown an interception in the month of December. The Jacksonville Jaguars are not in a great position with the firing of Tom Coughlin and their defense doesn’t force interceptions as well. Expect a nice outing out of Ryan at a solid price point.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, CIN vs MIA

DK ($6,000) FD ($7,400)

I feel this will bring quite the upside in an otherwise meaningless game that many people will forget about. Cincinnati locks in the first overall pick in 2020 with the loss so I wouldn’t be shocked if the call from above is to lose. Obviously, players don’t care about tanking and will play regardless. FitzMagic should be in full effect and pick up a fourth consecutive solid outing against weak opponents. He could make your quarterback skill position a lot stronger with him in your DFS lineup.

Drew Brees, NO @ TEN

DK ($ 6,900) FD ($8,200)

Coming off one of the single greatest performances by a quarterback, Drew Brees is going up against the Tennessee Titans. Still competing for the number one seed, Brees will still be competing at the highest level. The Titans allow 258.1 passing yards per game and that is the eighth-highest in the NFL. Expect a great game out of Brees, which isn’t such a difficult thought.

Week 16 Quarterback Fades

Josh Allen, BUF @ NE

DK ($5,300) FD ($7,600)

In his last game against the Pats, he went 13-of-28 with 153 yards and three interceptions. Bill Belichick has a way of making opposing quarterbacks feel uncomfortable and with a solid defense, don’t expect a big return with Josh Allen under center for your NFL DFS team.

Tom Brady, BUF vs NE

DK ($5,200) FD ($7,400)

This Patriots offense is not threatening, especially going against an elite Buffalo defense that is mathematically still alive for the AFC East divisional title. The Patriots have struggled against speedy defenses this season and Buffalo is another one of those. It’s hard to see the Pats having a chance to run the ball. Brady also went 18-of-39 for 150 yards and a pick last time these two teams faced off. Don’t try to get too cute with your quarterback selection here.

Derek Carr, OAK @ LAC

DK ($5,300) FD ($7,300)

With the news that Josh Jacobs will not play in this game, I don’t see the Raiders running the ball as much. Carr is an average quarterback and when a defense can suspect the pass, it probably won’t be a great outing for Carr. The Chargers pass defense is already elite without the help as they allow just 197.4 passing yards a game, which is fourth in the NFL. With all the signs pointing against Derek Carr, it makes sense to fade him in this matchup.

Monkey Knife Fight Quarterback Pick of the Day

Click Here to Play and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Patrick Mahomes over 290.5 passing yards and Mitchell Trubisky under 241.5 passing yards.

Pat Mahomes is going against an injury-plagued Chicago Bears defense. Coming off a great game against the Denver Broncos, Mahomes had 340 yards through the air. I expect another 300+ yard passing game out of Mahomes. Trubisky, on the other hand, has big yardage days but I see the Chiefs dominating the time of possession in this game. Trubisky is turnover-prone so he won’t have the opportunity to put up these types of numbers.

NFL DFS Week 14 GPP Picks Of Destiny

Week 14 in NFL DFS is about finding the best opportunities for guaranteed production with a high upside. Follow my stud and value GPP plays and lock in the NFL DFS Picks of Destiny.

David Jones won 100K on FanDuel! Read about it here!

David also won back-to-back GPPs!

There will be updates closer to lock. Check back Sunday morning.

Quarterbacks:

Stud: Lamar Jackson ($8,700 FD)

He does not have an easy matchup, but he is also matchup proof. He should be lower owned than normal this week in NFL DFS and I have no problem playing him at that kind of ownership. Much like CMC, I do not fade Lamar Jackson. We have seen this Ravens team “mercy rule” a couple opponents so far this year. This offense is legit and it is all because of the MVP contender. Expect Lamar Jackson to do Lamar Jackson things again this week. Three to Four TD’s (either on the ground or through the air) isn’t out of the question.

Pivot: DeShaun Watson (way too cheap), Aaron Rodgers

Value: Sam Darnold ($7,700 FD)

Sam Darnold plays much better at home and get the visiting Miami Dolphins (31st in the NFL) this Sunday. The Dolphins have given up 28 passing touchdowns this season, which is only two behind the Arizona Cardinals. Pair Darnold up with Crowder, Anderson or Griffin in what I think will be a high scoring NFL DFS game.

Pivot: Ryan Tannehill, Ryan Fitzpatrick

Running Backs

Stud RB: Christian McCaffrey ($11,000 FD)

He is in another fantastic spot. I will have a ton of him.

Stud Pivot: Derick Henry, Nick Chubb

Value RB: DeVonta Freeman ($6,000 FD)

The Carolina Panthers are a team you want to target with running backs. They have allowed the most scores on the ground in the NFL this year. Freeman is CHEAP and the wide receivers all seem to be dealing with injury setbacks. If Freeman doesn’t come in looking rusty (like he tends to do sometimes) he should smash his cheap salary. This feels like Freeman’s best NFL DFS spot all year.

Pivots: Melvin Gordon, Leonard Fournette

Value: Powell, Laird (DK)

Punts/High Risk: Kareem Hunt, Sony Michel, Benny Snell (FD), Jaylen Samuels (DK)

I will update again closer to Sunday. Be sure to check back.

Wide Receiver

Stud WR: Stefon Diggs ($8,000 FD)

Adam Thielen is doubtful, Dalvin Cook is banged up and the Detroit Lions are ranked in the bottom of the NFL defending WR1’s. Diggs should receive around double digit targets here and get a few deep looks down the field. I am not in love with any of the other high priced receivers this week making Diggs a nice pivot from the bigger named superstar studs. Diggs is sliding under the radar this week and is literally in a better spot than everyone priced above him.

Stud Pivots: DaVante Adams, Julio Jones (if he plays, he should)

Mid WR:

Keenan Allen ($6,800 FD) Simply too cheap on FanDuel. He is the clear number one receiver for the Chargers and the Jags can be beat on the ground and through the air. Keenan Allen is this weeks Alshon Jeffrey.

DeVante Parker ($7,200 FD) He has over 10 targets in each of the last four weeks. He caught two touchdowns (almost three) last week and is clearly Fitzpatrick’s favorite target He gets the 23rd ranked pass defense in what I expect to be a high scoring game. His price went up, but so did his upside.

Zach Pascal ($6,100 FD) He is not a “true WR1” but he is the best thing that Jacoby Brisett has against the Tampa Bay poor pass defense. Another case of being too cheap in NFL DFS.

Pivots: Courtland Sutton, DJ Moore, James Washington

Punt Wide Receivers: Curtis Samuel, Sammy Watkins, Russell Gage

Tight End

Kyle Rudolph ($4,800 FD)

He has six touchdowns in the last six games. Thielen is out again and Dalvin Cook is beat up. The offense should run through Diggs, Rudolph and the running back (notice I didn’t say Cook there). When Thielen has been out it has helped Rudolph tremendously. The price for him makes no sense on FanDuel. Kyle Rudolph is a free square this week in NFL DFS.

Tight End Pivots: Jack Doyle, Ryan Griffin, Vance McDonald

Defense

  1. Packers
  2. Vikings
  3. Steelers
  4. Texans
  5. Punt: Bengals

NFL DFS Week 13 GPP Picks Of Destiny

Week 13 in NFL DFS is about finding the best opportunities for guaranteed production with a high upside.

Stud Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes ($8,600 FD)

The Chiefs play the Oakland Raiders who are ranked bottom three in touchdowns allowed through the air and average catch per yard for receivers. We have been targeting Oakland all year and now we have an elite QB getting to pick apart this defense at home with all of his receiving options healthy. He is our top NFL DFS quarterback this week.

Stud Pivot: Lamar Jackson ($8,700 FD)

I will have plenty of Lamar Jackson when a lot of people are going to fade the current MVP of the league in NFL DFS this week. The matchup against the 49ers is a tough one, but I truly believe Jackson can beat any defense in the league. If we are getting Jackson at 10% ownership it is an easy play. You don’t have to get too cute at QB this week. Play the top price guys or the value guy I have listed below.

Value Quarterback: Andy Dalton ($6,000 FD)

I can hardly contain my excitement to play Andy Dalton in NFL DFS this week. He returns as the starter for the Bengals and is going to make a statement. He got pulled earlier this season because the Bengals couldn’t win a game, but I think this is the week they finally pull off a W. Dalton’s fantasy numbers were fine before he got benched (most weeks), and now we get a severe discount on him against a middle of the road Jets pass defense. Pair him up with Boyd (or another receiver) and rest easy. He is going to exceed value this week. I will have more of him on DK where he is even more underpriced than on FanDuel.

Pivot: Sam Darnold

Running Backs

Stud RB: Christian McCaffrey ($11,000 FD)

Lock him in or quit playing NFL DFS. That’s it, that’s the analysis.

Stud Pivot: Josh Jacobs, Aaron Jones

Mid RB: Le’Veon Bell ($7,300 FD)

The Bengals have allowed the most yards on the ground this season in the NFL. Le’Veon Bell is a duel threat RB with a quarterback who has looked sharp the past few weeks. I would not be surprised to see the Jets trailing in this one (you read that right) and leaning on their stud back more than they have needed to the past couple of weeks. Cincinnati has allowed the the third most rushing touchdowns this season.

Pivots: Phillip Lindsay

Value RB: Ronald Jones ($6,200 FD)

Tampa goes against the Jacksonville Jaguars who have been getting dominated on the ground. Last week Derrick Henry put up 158 yards and two touchdowns on them. While Jones is no Henry, he has been playing very well in his new lead back role the past few weeks. He has five touchdowns in his last seven games and is way underpriced. The Jags are currently ranked 26th against NFL DFS running backs this year. Jones should get in the box once again this Sunday.

Punts/High Risk: Miles Sanders, LeSean McCoy, Kenyan Drake, Darrel Williams

I will update again closer to Sunday. Be sure to check back.

Wide Receiver

Stud WR: Tyreek Hill ($8,300 FD)

He is my favorite NFL DFS quarterback’s most reliable downfield threat against a defense the Chiefs should pick apart. If Hill is on the field all four quarters he should be the highest scoring wide receiver on the slate. He has 100+ yard and multiple touchdown potential.

Stud Pivots: DaVante Adams, Cooper Kupp

Mid WR: I have three guys who I love this week in NFL DFS and will have a lot of exposure too. All three are in great spots and are the WR1 on their team and will be heavily targeted.

  1. Tyler Boyd: He scores touchdowns at home and he got Andy Dalton back this week.
  2. DeVante Parker: He has over 10 targets in each of the last three weeks. He gets the 27th ranked pass defense.
  3. DJ Chark: Double digit target potential against the terrible Tampa Bay defensive backfield.

Punt Wide Receiver: Alex Erickson, Andy Isabella (Big GPP guys if you have multiple teams, don’t use in cash)

Tight End

Jack Doyle ($5,000 FD)

He is underpriced and the Colts starting tight end, Eric Ebron, is done for he season. Doyle will be treated like a WR2 in this game against the Titans who rank 22nd against the TE. He has two touchdowns in his past three games. The best part about that stat is Ebron was active in all of those games and Doyle still outproduced him. A huge NFL DFS opportunity awaits Doyle this Sunday.

Tight End Pivots: Tyler Higbee (love him), Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, Hunter Henry

Defense

  1. Panthers
  2. Ravens
  3. Steelers
  4. Browns

I will tweet out when there are NFL DFS updates. Be sure to follow me @tenaciousdjones on Twitter so you don’t miss out!

11/26 Win Daily DFS Winner: Jarrett Allen

Here is a snippet from the NBA DFS Game Previews by Brandon C. Williams. Jarrett Allen had a monster game against the Cleveland Cavaliers as he went for 22 points, 21 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 34 minutes. He also did not commit a single turnover during the game.

Outlook for the rest of the season: This was a season-high in rebounds and assists for Allen while he tied his career-high in steals. Allen has definitely taken a leap this season and whether it be the mentoring of DeAndre Jordan or getting his feet under him, Allen is proving to be a good decision in DFS. He’s almost a lock whenever facing the Nets taken on a team with an average center in their starting lineup.

11/26 DFS Winner: Lamar Jackson

Here is a snippet of the Monday Night Showdown article written by Andrew Erickson. Admittedly, Lamar Jackson was the chalkiest of plays but Id be remissed if I didn’t include his performance. Going up against the Los Angeles Rams, he went 15-of-20 for 169 yards and five touchdowns. As a runner, he had eight carries for 95 yards. Jackson has all but been announced as the NFL MVP at this point.

Outlook for the rest of the season: This was one of the most impressive performances by a quarterback in recent memory. Jackson did not throw an incompletion the entire first half. He has an 81.9 QBR on the season and looks like he should have the MVP trophy already. He will face his biggest test yet with the 49ers defense next week but it isn’t anything that force him to struggle too much.

11/26 DFS Winner: Baltimore Ravens Defense

In the same snippet as above, Andrew mentioned the Ravens defense. They also had a spectacular performance in the game. They gave up 221 total yards to the Rams, including just 22 rushing yards on nine total attempts. The Ravens also came up with two interceptions on Jared Goff as well. All in all, giving up 221 yards, having two turnovers and allowing just six points total guaranteed a spot on this article.

The purpose of this weekly article is to identify team/game stacks that we are going to use for an NFL DFS GPP. For those of you that don’t know, a “team stack” is simply multiple players from the same team (I rarely ever use more than three players on a given team).

A “game stack” is similar, except we are going to use players from both teams in a given game. Focusing on team stacks and game stacks is incredibly useful in the NFL DFS GPP environment. That being said, let’s get to this week’s top NFL DFS stacks for DraftKings!

Top NFL DFS GPP Game Stacks

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+6) O/U (50)

The Saints laid an egg last week, we all know that. That will not happen again this week on the road in Tampa Bay against a Bucs’ defense that is brutal at defending the pass. New Orleans has an implied total of ~28 points and I’m confident they’ll get to that mark (if not passed it). Both of these defenses are extremely strong against the run, so we should see a lot of the action done through the air, which is great for DFS.

New Orleans Saints

  • Drew Brees ($6,900)
  • Michael Thomas ($9,900)
  • Alvin Kamara ($7,400)
  • Jared Cook ($4,400)
  • Tre’Quan Smith ($3,800)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Chris Godwin ($7,300)
  • Mike Evans ($7,400)
  • Jameis Winston ($6,500)
  • O.J. Howard ($3,600)

Houston Texans @ Baltimore Ravens (-4.5) O/U (51)

The game with the highest total on the slate is always something to look at when deciding on where to get exposure in your DFS lineups. This game should give us all of the fireworks were looking for in a NFL DFS GPP. Both teams have a below-average pass rush and both teams can put up points in a hurry.

Lamar Jackson is a fantasy superstar. We don’t need to discuss that in greater detail. But, the Ravens haven’t played in close game since Week Six, so we should finally see a game where Lamar Jackson needs to make plays with his arm, not just his feet. If Houston can keep this close, this is going to be an absolute shoot-out.

Houston Texans

  • Deshaun Watson ($6,800)
  • DeAndre Hopkins ($8,100)
  • Will Fuller ($5,800)
  • Duke Johnson ($4,000)

Baltimore Ravens

  • Lamar Jackson ($7,700)
  • Marquise Brown ($5,600)
  • Mark Andrews ($6,100)
  • Mark Ingram ($6,600)
  • Willie Snead ($3,900)

Top NFL DFS GPP Team Stacks

New England Patriots

It doesn’t appear that anyone in the DFS community is touting this Patriots’ offense. Both Philadelphia and New England have had two weeks to prep for this matchup, so they should be fresh and prepared to execute. Philadelphia is a clear pass-funnel defense and I expect Belichick and Brady carve them up through the air. This is an excellent stack to get a little contrarian and they’re all affordable.

  • Julian Edelman ($7,600)
  • Tom Brady ($6,400)
  • Mohamed Sanu ($5,100)
  • James White ($5,400)

Carolina Panthers

The Falcons’ defense balled out last week, but I still won’t take them seriously. Atlanta ranks 31st in pass defense DVOA and that is something I cannot ignore. I’ll have some exposure to this Carolina offense in Week 11.

  • Christian McCaffrey ($10,500)
  • D.J. Moore ($5,900)
  • Curtis Samuel ($5,300)
  • Kyle Allen ($5,300)
  • Greg Olsen ($3,900)

Sample NFL DFS GPP Lineup

QB: Lamar Jackson
RB: Duke Johnson
RB:
James White
WR: D.J. Moore
WR: Chris Godwin
WR: Marquise Brown
TE: Jared Cook
FLEX: Josh Jacobs
DST: Washington Redskins
