Week 13 in the books and it was a monster for us! A less than one percent-owned Trent Sherfield smashed in our lineups for over 14 fantasy points, we sweated it out for that one bomb he caught and it paid off for us! Let’s get right into Week 14’s breakdown, where we may find another scratch-off winner like Sherfield..who knows?! It’s a tight slate this week with six teams on bye, and as the player pool shrinks, the less of a margin for error. Stay on our Discord for all news, questions, and expert analysis. Week 14 is here fellas, are we ready…Here we go!

Sunday Main Slate 12/11/22

Vikings @ Lions (-2.5) (O/U 53)

Vikings

Well, here it is on a silver platter ladies and gentlemen, the game of the week. In what appears to be the contest to attack in DFS with a 53 under/over, pick up a few purple jerseys for your lineups. Jefferson put up a dud in their first meeting, so I anticipate some retribution from number 18. By all means, mix it up and grab other pieces to be different…Cousins, Dalvin, Thielen, and oh yeah my favorite Viking, The Hock. Detroit tossed him to the side for draft capital back in Week 8, so you know he is destined to get in the box against his old teammates in his old stomping ground. Minnesota has put up 60 points in the last two games, Let’s ride!

Lions

Same scenario here guys, grab your Lions. Both Detroit and Minnesota allow the most points (25) and total yardage (400YDS/Game) in the league. When two teams face off with bad defenses, it’s a DFS match made in heaven. Jared Goff may be the most popular quarterback of the slate, because of his price and upside. Amon-Ra Is on a serious heater scoring over 30 fantasy points in two games, sign me up. But let’s get different on the Detroit side too. Running backs Jamal Williams, the end zone monster with 14 touchdowns and D’Andre Swift are both enticing under $6K on DraftKings, but how about DJ Chark? He could be sneaky against a Vikings’ 30th DVOA to receivers and easily give us another repeat performance of 14 fantasy points.

Cash: K. Cousins, J. Jefferson, A. St. Brown, J. Goff

GPP: D. Cook, J. Williams, DJ Chark, TJ Hockenson, D. Swift

Eagles @ Giants (+7) (O/U 45.5)

Eagles

Philly could roll into Met Life Stadium and steamroll over a Giants’ team destroyed by injuries on both sides of the ball. Besides New York’s already beat-up secondary, they now lose their top pass rusher, Leonard Williams, this Sunday. Fly Eagles Fly… Hurts is always cash and GPP-friendly, and his teammates AJ Brown, and Devonta Smith pair nicely if you can squeeze their hefty salaries in. But we may see more of a Miles Sanders-type of game script. He may see plenty of carries against a 26th DVOA run defense, chewing up the clock against a Giants’ team that could struggle to move the chains.

Giants

The slot has been the key way to get the ball moving against the tough-as-nails Eagles’ defense. Punt alert, Ritchie James…let’s roll! The Giants most likely will be playing from behind all game, and with Saquon Barkley now on the injury report, quarterback Danny Jones becomes the best rusher by default (if Barkley sits out). Another nice dart throw…Rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger has built some chemistry with Jones, picking up where he left off after an eye injury and getting five looks. Well worth a shot at $3,300 on DraftKings, who’s no stranger to the end zone (3TDs).

Cash: J. Hurts, AJ Brown, D. Smith

GPP: M. Sanders, D. Jones, D. Bellinger, R. James

Jets @ Bills (-9.5) (O/U 43.5)

Jets

In his third start this season, quarterback Mike White will have his feet put to the fire against a tough Buffalo defense on the road. Will he get to throw it 57 times like in Minnesota? Not a chance, but bet your last dollar the ball will be aimed at the rookie Garrett Wilson, who caught eight of an insane 15 targets. Although I’m positive the Buffalo defensive coordinator has something in store for Garrett after watching the tape, so taking a stab at Elijah Moore for $3,500 on DraftKings would be sexy in a GPP.

Bills

Buffalo needs this game to stay on top of the division and even up the score with New York. The bills go as far as their leader Josh Allen will take them. He’s got a tough match up but that didn’t stop him back in Week 9 from putting up 27 fantasy points in a road loss to New York. The Jets have been stingy to receivers ranking 6th in DVOA, so we may not want to pay up for Diggs this week. It’s feeling like a paydown week in Buffalo for me, and it’s for a chalk-a-potomous James Cook at $4,600 on DraftKings. The rookie caught six passes on top of rushing for 64 yards last week and appears to be moving in on Devon Singletary’s job at the moment.

Cash: J. Allen, G. Wilson

GPP: E. Moore, J. Cook

Browns @ Bengals (-6) (O/U 47)

Browns

Well, you got what you paid for if you took DeShaun Watson last week, a six-burger. Nick Chubb also had an off game in Houston, but he wasn’t needed since the Cleveland Browns’ defense put up 30 fantasy points themselves. I’ll look for him to bounce back this weekend against Cincinnati, pairing him with that defense that went from putting up 30 fantasy points to second cheapest on the slate…Who is in charge of the pricing on DK? As for Watson, I’m still in wait-and-see mode, but Amari Cooper did see the most targets (9) from the Browns’ new signal caller, if he plays he’s a tournament darling.

Bengals

Cleveland has owned Burrow for his career but is when Joe breaks out of his slump against his division rival. On paper, it does with a healthy Chase, Tee Higgins, and of course Joe Mixon, who may see a ton of work after missing a game from a concussion, against one of the worst run defenses in football. Don’t forget about Watson’s egg he laid in Houston either. He’ll get there eventually, but this week he may still show some rust. Give me a piece of the Bengals’ defense too.

Cash: J. Burrow, J. Mixon, N. Chubb, J. Chase

GPP: A. Cooper, T. Higgins, Browns DST, Bengals DST

Texans @ Cowboys (-17) (O/U 44.5)

Texans

Well, it looks like Houston is mailing it in for the season for the number one pick. Receivers Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins have already been ruled out, opening up the entire offense for the rookie Dameon Pierce. We may not want to go that route though, as 17-point underdogs the Texans will be playing from behind a ton. Davis Mills will be returning as the starter and will have Chris Moore and Philip Dorsett to target, providing us some value this weekend at receiver.

Cowboys

The absolute worst rushing defense will face one of the best backfield duos in the league this weekend in Dallas. Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott have averaged a combined 30 fantasy points per game this season, a plug-and-play for a slot or two at running back in DFS. I don’t mind rolling them both out there at the same time either, stack them with that Dallas defense too, if you can afford them.

Cash: T. Pollard, Cowboys DST, E. Elliot

GPP: C. Moore, P. Dorsett

Jaguars @ Titans (-3.5) (O/U 41.5)

Jaguars

Receiver Christian Kirk came through big time last week as we called it, but it might be a Zay Jones kind of day in Tennessee. The Titans just do not blitz, which should open up a lot of routes for Jones, If he plays. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence does have a bum foot but we’ll give it a go, so let’s wait and see some news on Zay’s injury.

Titans

Treylon Burks, Tennessee’s number-one receiver, won’t make it out on the field this weekend. No worries, Tennessee will just keep riding the Derek Henry train until he falls off the tracks. Maybe not this Sunday though, as he has plowed over Jacksonville for his career. In his last three games since the 2020 season, he has rushed for a total of 429 yards with five touchdowns. He’ll have low ownership again this weekend, so jam him in your GPP lineups.

Cash: D. Henry

GPP: Z. Jones

Ravens @ Steelers (-2.5) (O/U 37)

Ravens

Baltimore as we all know by now will be without quarterback Lamar Jackson with a knee issue. Backup Tyler Huntley gets the start, where we probably won’t see much of a drop-off in an offense that is bone dry in weapons. Huntley is a risk, but as we have seen in previous starts Mark Andrews gets all the love when he is under center. Last season In five games alongside Huntley, Mark Andrews totaled 43 catches for 498 yards and three touchdowns.

Steelers

I’ve mentioned Huntley as a risky play, and he’s coughed up the ball four times in four starts in 2021. The Pittsburgh DST is a great play at home especially if TJ Watt gets on the field. Now Kenny Pickett didn’t give us what we expected in Atlanta, but I like the rookie at home against the Baltimore secondary who is 25th in DVOA to quarterbacks. $5,200 on DraftKings is a huge value on a slate trying to roster pieces from Detroit and Minnesota.

Cash: Steelers DST, M. Andrews

GPP: T. Huntley, K. Pickett

Chiefs @ Broncos (+9) (O/U 43)

Chiefs

The matchup looks grim on paper but that shouldn’t keep us from taking one of the best quarterback/tight end duos in history. Mahomes and Kelce should see some low ownership this weekend, jam them in tournaments too. But I still can’t stop clicking on Pacheco! Less than 10 percent owned and for two weeks finding the endzone, he’s like found money. And let’s not forget about the defense cheat code for DFS, Broncos country…the Chiefs DST is in play here.

Broncos

Is the season over yet? That’s what everybody in Denver has been saying since Week 1. It makes me nauseous of the thought of taking Russell Wilson for $5,200 on DraftKings, but it’s the Chiefs who are one of the most pass-friendly defenses (27th in DVOA). And now without Courtland Sutton this Sunday, Jerry Jeudy is a lock for volume for a bargain at $5,400 on DraftKings.

Cash: P. Mahomes, T. Kelce, J. Jeudy

GPP: R. Wilson, I. Pacheco, Chiefs DST

Panthers @ Seahawks (-4.5) (O/U 43.5)

Panthers

DJ Moore is the guy again in Carolina since Sam Darnold has been plugged back in at quarterback for the Panthers. Last week he only saw six looks, but they cashed in for four grabs with 103 yards and a touchdown. Hey but wait a sec, remember D’Onta Foreman? The dude has had four 100-yard games with four touchdowns since taking over McCaffrey. Facing the second-worst run defense in Seattle? Yea, I like them apples.

Seahawks

The Seahawk backfield has been hit hard by injuries, and we still don’t know if Kenneth Walker III or backup DeeJay Dallas will be able to go. Head coach Pete Carroll may want to just throw it all day, and nobody can guard DK Metcalf. But is Travis Homer worth a shot at in the Seattle running back committee? I think he is. On their depth chart, Homer is the true second back on the depth chart, seeing 30 percent of the snaps when Walker was dominating the position. Now that he’s healthy again, he could be very sneaky as a flex in a tournament.

Cash: DJ Moore, DK Metcalf

GPP: T. Homer (if Walker III is out), D. Foreman

Bucs @ Niners (-3.5) (O/U 37)

Bucs

We are still waiting on some news out of Tampa regarding the status of Fournette. If he can’t roll out, lock up Rashaad White. Don’t drink the kool-aid on San Francisco being a shut-down run defense either, they just haven’t seen any big threats in my opinion. The Chargers, Falcons, and Bears all feasted in rushing, leaving no reason for White to get his. One more nugget I’d like to add via StixJulio Jones could be this week’s Trent Sherfield fellas. For only $4,000 on DK he has a clear height advantage over the Niners’ worst corner Lenoir. Julio is a well-worth dart throw on a very unowned receiver for the slate.

Niners

Well, it’s officially Brock Purdy season, since Jimmy G broke his foot last week against the Dolphins. The rookie filled in nicely, throwing two touchdowns in the victory. The Niners should take the ultra-conservative approach moving forward, relying mostly on their defense and keeping the ball in their playmakers like McCaffrey. CMC’s workload may be on the rise, but risky until we see what we get on Sunday. If you’re feeling lucky, take a dirt cheap Purdy ($5,100 on DraftKings) in a GPP and mix it up in cash or a tournament with McCaffrey.

Cash: R. White (if Fournette is out), C. McCaffrey (GPP too)

GPP: B. Purdy, J. Jones

Cash Core

J. Hurts/A. St. Brown/J. Mixon/T. Pollard/M. Andrews

GPP Core

J. Goff/Z. Jones(if he plays)/D. Henry/TJ Hockenson/DJ Moore

Stacks

J. Goff/A. St. Brown/J. Williams/DJ Chark/D. Swift

K. Cousins/J. Jefferson/D. Cook/TJ Hockenson

J. Hurts/AJ Brown/D. Smith/M. Sanders

J. Burrow/J. Chase/T. Higgins/J. Mixon

It felt like only yesterday that we kicked off the NFL season and already it’s Week 13. And what a week we are in store for in DFS, with five of the twelve games having totals of 47 to 52.5. As you will read in this article, there will be so many ways to victory that you may be forced to create more lineups than you normally would. Also, make sure you check out my take on the Cleveland/Houston matchup, don’t be so quick to run and use Deshaun Watson in his first game back in 700 days. Not to throw any shade on him, but by all means, go with your gut if you are feeling that move. This week just has a smorgasbord of pivots and angles to attack in DFS, so remember to refer back to our Discord and Projection Models when building your lineups. Let’s gooo!

Sunday Main Slate 12/4/22

Titans @ Eagles (-4.5) (O/U 44.5)

Titans

Tennessee will continue to ride the coattails of Derrick Henry and not make it a secret. But will he come up short again like last week? The Eagles have made some improvements in free agency (Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph) but continue to get gashed by opposing running backs (Aaron Jones and A J Dillon combined for over 35 DK PTS). Henry is always a reliable DFS running back but for this week let’s keep him out of our cash games and roll him in GPPs.

Eagles

With a record of 10-1, the Eagles appear destined for glory this season. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been a lock week in and week out, but in this matchup, we may see receiver A J Brown in a get-right revenge game against his former team. Facing a skank secondary that is 28th in DVOA to receivers, Brown is destined for the end zone against a Titans’ organization that refused to pay him and get traded away for a first-round pick in 2022.

Cash: J. Hurts, A. Brown

GPP: D. Henry

Jets @ Vikings (-3) (O/U 45)

Jets

We may have seen the last of Zach Wilson this year after Mike White’s performance. I mentioned him in my breakdown last week that he would crush his salary (27.8 DK FPTS) and yet again he lines up in another great spot against Minnesota (28th in DVOA to QBs) in a dome. White is not the only Jet you may want to take this weekend. The running backs here are loaded with value (James Robinson, Ty Johnson, and Zonovan Knight) but are way too risky to decide on, so use any in a GPP. A much safer play would be pairing White with a share or two of his receivers. Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore, and a revenge game for tight end Tyler Conklin returning back to Minnesota make a sneaky stack pivoting off the late games on the slate.

Vikings

Believe it or not, the Jets have been pretty tough on defense as of late. They’ve only allowed three touchdown passes in their last 10 games, so Cousins may not be a QB in play this week. Justin Jefferson is matchup-proof, so feel free to keep him in cash games If you can afford him. The rest of the Vikes are priced way too high for me to take a shot on against this Jets’ defense, even Dalvin Cook may not pay off his hefty pricetag on a New York front that has not given up a rushing TD since Week 7.

Cash: J. Jefferson

GPP: M. White, G. Wilson, E. Moore, T. Conklin

Commanders @ Giants (+2.5) (O/U 40)

Commanders

If you’re looking for a cheap play at running back, look no further. The rookie Brian Robinson may be in line for an increased workload at a discount If Antonio Gibson sits this one out. The New York Giants have allowed 150 yards with five total touchdowns to opposing running backs in their last two games. Robinson is a lock for cash if this situation plays out for Sunday.

Giants

The window is beginning to close for the Giants to make the playoffs, so it’s now or never. But with news breaking about Saquan Barkley possibly getting a lighter workload, New York will need to rely more on the passing game in order to win at home. The Commanders have cleaned it up a bit on defense, only allowing two passing touchdowns in their last three games. Regardless, the Giants’ will need to pass to win, and their skeleton crew of receivers is way too cheap. Darius Slayton and Richie James are set to have a big day as long as they can get healthy.

Cash: B. Robinson (Gibson out)

GPP: D. Slayton, R. James (if they can roll out)

Broncos @ Ravens (-8.5) (O/U 39.5)

Broncos

Free Courtland Sutton! He’s put up double-digit fantasy points at receiver in his last three games and the only game in town for DFS in Denver. The Ravens are a force at stopping the run, so Lat Murray will be a no go for me this week, not that he has been a stud averaging three yards per carry. Denver has been the biggest disappointment in the NFL this year as Russell Wilson and the coaching staff have set the franchise back a decade. It’s Sutton for GPP, no one is safe for cash in Bronco Country.

Ravens

Well, Lamar has not panned out from what we expected for this season either. If it wasn’t for his rushing upside, he’d be right up there cooking with Russ. But Gus Edwards seems to be back to 100% and against the tough Denver defense I’d rather pay down for Gus to fall in the endzone than Jackson’s low pass volume and high price tag. Denver has also been a cheat code for opposing defenses, pay up if you can for the Ravens’ DST in this low total contest.

Cash: Ravens DST

GPP: C. Sutton, L. Jackson, G. Edwards

Browns @ Texans (+7) (O/U 47.5)

Browns

Here it is, the game we’ve all been waiting for. Will Watson go off on his former team or will he show signs of rust, time will tell. The one player who is money in the bank is Nick Chubb, playing behind one of the best O-lines in football. Add that nugget up with one of the worst run defenses in the league and you have the formula to pay up here at running back. The only thing that bothers me is if Watson will hog the spotlight in this game and look to throw or run one into the endzone himself at the goal line. One thing for sure is Texan quarterback Kyle Allen was a turnover machine last week with two picks and two fumbles leading to scores for Miami. If you have confidence in the Browns D, pay up for them.

Texans

Some big late news broke on Friday that Texan receiver Brandin Cooks will not play on Sunday, elevating Nico Collins to the number one passer option for Houston and a no-brainer on DraftKings ($4,200). However, don’t forget about the rookie Dameon Pierce. He’s underwhelmed for the last two games, but he has the sixth-highest snap-share among running backs facing the Browns’ 30th-ranked run defense. I’m fine with using both in cash games.

Cash: N. Collins, N. Chubb, D. Pierce, Browns DST

GPP: D. Watson

Jaguars @ Lions (-1) (O/U 51)

Jaguars

T Law is coming off a career-best performance last week posting 321 passing yards with three touchdowns against Baltimore. It may be a double-down week to take Lawrence for a second week straight as he’ll be indoors to face the Lions. In what may look to be a track meet in Detroit, Christian Kirk may benefit more in the receiving department if he lines up in the slot opposite Joe Harris, who’s spilled out 15 receptions for 196 yards in his last two games.

Lions

At home, the Lions are at their best and will look the case against a soft Jaguar defense that has allowed 54 points in their last two games. We’ll see more of the usual from Goff to Amon Ra, with a sprinkle of Jamaal Williams at the goal line. Fellow receivers other than ASRB are priced way down to $4K and lower, so a nice GPP stack might be found in this game using D J Chark and Kalif Raymond

Cash: T. Lawrence, C. Kirk, A. St. Brown

GPP: J. Goff, J. Williams, K. Raymond, D. Chark

Packers @ Bears (+3.5) (O/U 44.5)

Packers

Green Bay is on the outside looking into the playoffs for the season, so even in a great matchup for Aaron Rodgers, I would tread lightly. He’s pretty banged up with a thumb and now a rib injury, any shot taken during the game may force him to the sideline. So for me, it’s an Aaron Jones kind of day, especially at his DraftKings salary ($6,900). Even if Rodgers does get pulled, wideouts Christian Watson and Allen Lazard should still feast on the Bears’ bush league of defense if Jordan Love were to take over. Other than Jones, keep everybody else in tournaments.

Bears

Chicago has given their superstar athlete at quarterback the green light for Sunday, but how effective will he be? Justin Fields injured his non-throwing shoulder in Week 11, but it’s not his passing that he is known for. one bad hit after a scramble may also take him out of the game. His ceiling is through a roof but keep him in your tournament this weekend, who may see very low ownership on this slate.

Cash: A. Jones

GPP: A. Rodgers, J. Fields, A. Lazard, C. Watson

Steelers @ Falcons (-1) (O/U 42.5)

Steelers

The first quarterback taken in last year’s draft may have his best game this season on the road in Atlanta. Kenny Pickett can easily smash his salary four times its value playing indoors, using a little of his legs, and letting loose on the Falcon secondary that has been exploited all season. Pairing Pickett with Pickens and Friermuth makes a ton of sense here, but Diontae Johnson may be riskier because of his inability to build any chemistry with the rookie QB. The questionable tags have been all over the Steeler running backs, best to keep an eye on reports for tonight through tomorrow morning for a Najee Harris/Jalen Warren possible lone backfield.

Falcons

I just can’t put anybody in Atlanta in my lineups this week because of this Pittsburgh defense led by TJ Watt. Now that Kyle Pitts landed on IR, opposing defenses will continue to gravitate toward the rookie Drake London. I mean if I were to throw a dart here, it would be at Zaccheaus. Olamide ate off London’s plate last week while catching five of eight passes for 91 yards.

Cash: K. Pickett, G. Pickens, N. Harris/J. Warren (if one sits out)

GPP: P. Friermuth, O. Zaccheaus

Dolphins @ Niners (-4) (O/U 46.5)

Dolphins

Well, we all should know Miami’s blueprint by now in Week 13, if you’re just tuning in now it’s a three-headed monster with Tua, Tyreek, and Waddle. Besides Tyreek Hill, many Dolphins for this week may not be usable in DFS facing a tough San Fran defense on the road. So will it be a Jeff Wilson/Raheem Mostert revenge game? I wouldn’t bet on that either against the Niners’ front line. Ever hear of a guy by the name of Trent Sherfield? He’s basically on the field all the time alongside Tyreek and Waddle with over a 60% snap rate and could be worth a punt based on his price tag on DraftKings ($3,300). Thanks to Stix and the model for this gem, he may not be as sexy as the last Christian Watson call, but definitely makes sense against a Niner defense that will focus mainly on Waddle and Hill.

Niners

The Dolphins have also been decent at stopping the run (10th in DVOA) which could force Garoppolo to throw it more than he likes to. Miami’s cornerbacks and safeties have allowed over 60 receptions with five touchdowns over their last three games. Deebo may not be able to go Sunday so pay attention to injury reports, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle will be a lock if he is ruled out.

Cash: B. Aiyuk, G. Kittle (if Deebo is ruled out even better), T. Hill

GPP: T. Sherfield, J Garoppolo

Seahawks @ Rams (+7) (O/U 41)

Seahawks

Seattle may get the same scenario game as Kansas City when they played LA…a wet noodle of an offense. Geno Smith and the Seahawks may not have any type of motivation to light up the scoreboard this weekend. We should see a lot of Kenneth Walker chewing up the clock and that Seattle defense causing some turnovers and three-and-outs.

Rams

The defending champs have waived the white flag to the NFL, pulling every big-name player and placing them on IR, most recently QB Matt Stafford. The Rams appear to want to get an idea of who else they have on their roster by giving them some playing time. Rookie running back Kyren Williams could be busy for the end of the regular season, and Seattle’s 153 rushing yards allowed per game has breakout written all over this game. Kyren is a sleeper and a smooth play as your RB2 in your GPP.

Cash: Seattle DST, K. Walker

GPP: K. Williams

Chiefs @ Bengals (+1.5) (O/U 52.5)

Chiefs

Let’s get ready to rumble, the Main Event will be at 4:25 EST in Ohio, when Kansas City looks to even the score from last year’s loss to the Bengals. Mahomes and Kelce all day, in 11 games they’ve connected on 73 receptions with 12 touchdowns, and Mahomes has thrown for 29…eh not bad. A smart but chalky stack this weekend, we need to get a little different here. Pacheco had a solid game against LA last week, finding the endzone for a cool 15 DK points, and rushing for 70 yards. Currently, he leads the backfield in snap percentage (51%), which may lead to another trip to the endzone in Cinci.

Bengals

The Chiefs are 24th in DVOA to quarterbacks, so they will let you throw on them. Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins, and maybe Ja’Marr Chase ( if he can suit up) would be in a pass-funnel offense at home, locking them in our lineups with the highest game total of the slate. Even running backs Joe Mixon (if he clears protocols) and Samaje Perine can feast off this zone defense which allows plenty of the dink-and-dunk.

Cash: P. Mahomes, T. Kelce, J. Burrow, T. Higgins, J. Mixon/S. Perine

GPP: I. Pacheco, J. Chase (if he plays)

Chargers @ Raiders (-1) (O/U 50.5)

Chargers

Justin Herbert crushed Arizona last week, and he’ll do it again to Vegas. The Raiders are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to defending receivers and sending pressure to the quarterback. No Mike Williams again maybe? No problem, Keenan Allen, Josh Palmer, and the almighty running back Austin Ekeler are enough firepower to take out a small army. All playable in DFS this weekend, I especially like Herbert for cash.

Raiders

As bad as Vegas’ defense is, we love them for fantasy, forcing the offense to play from behind. Derek Carr may have to throw it another 36 times this week in order to stay in the game. Davante Adams as their main pass catcher all season (71 REC/10 TD), will also be busy. But if running back Josh Jacobs has his way again in this game (229 RSH/74 REC/2 TDs), Herbert may not have as much time on the field. LA’s defense against the run is a dismal 29th in DVOA, so if Jacobs can convince the doctors he can play, he’s a lock once again.

Cash: J. Herbert, J. Jacobs (if he plays), D. Adams, A. Ekeler, K. Allen

GPP: D. Carr

Cash Core

J. Herbert,AJ Brown, Nico Collins, Josh Jacobs, T. Kelce

GPP Core

K. Pickett, N. Chubb, P. Friermuth, C. Kirk, T. Sherfield

Stacks

J. Herbert/K. Allen/J. Palmer/A. Ekeler, J. Burrow/J. Chase (if he plays)/T. Higgins, P. Mahomes/T. Kelce/I. Pacheco, T. Lawrence/C. Kirk/ Z. Jones, D. Carr/D. Adams/J. Jacobs(if he plays)

Well, I hope everybody enjoyed their holiday, welcome back to the grind! Thanksgiving has come and gone with a mini three-game slate that entertained us all over dinner amongst family and friends. Now that we’ve digested all that grub, it’s time to break down this Week 12 of NFL action. There are so many paths to cash this slate and I’m happy to bring them to you. As always, stay up to speed on our community Discord and use our projection model to fall back on players that you are unsure of. Now without further delay let’s get right into this 11-game Main Slate, Week 12 breakdown, it’s on!

Sunday Main Slate 11/27/22

Texans @ Dolphins (-13.5) (O/U 46.5)

Texans

Houston will be one of a few teams this week featuring a new quarterback in Week 12, starting Kyle Allen over Davis Mills. Allen is nothing spectacular, in 21 career starts in Carolina and Washington he’s thrown for 24 touchdowns to 17 interceptions, running in a few scores himself on the ground. The price is right for a GPP but by all means keep him out of cash games, even with his Miami 22nd DVOA to QB matchup. The only safe piece in Houston is Dameon Pierce, but I also like the Nico Collins price tag ($4,100 on DraftKings). The Texan double-digit spread sends the message that they will be playing from behind for most of the game, forcing Nico into lineups this weekend.

Dolphins

The big three in Miami of Tua, Tyreek, and Waddle is a shoo-in this week to ball out against the 1-8-1 Texans, but will they be sitting out in the second half because of them being up by three touchdowns? Tua is probably the safest of the three since we know he will be in command of the scoring. There will be some chalk in this game though since news broke recently of running back Raheem Mostert being listed as doubtful to play. Fellow back Jeff Wilson Jr. will inherit the lion’s share of carries against the worst-ranked run defense in the league.

Cash: T. Tagovailoa, J. Wilson Jr.

GPP: K. Allen, N. Collins

Ravens @ Jaguars (+4) (O/U 43.5)

Ravens

It looks like Gus Edwards will finally return to the field after logging two full practices this week, giving Baltimore much-needed depth at running back. He’s a sneaky, under-the-radar play at RB who may see all the goal-line work in Jacksonville. Lamar Jackson and tight end Mark Andrews returning off a bye week are also in play, but much safer for cash games.

Jaguars

The revamped Raven defense with the addition of Roquan Smith held Carolina to only three points in Week 10, so I’m weary of starting too many players in Jacksonville. But the AETY Model does like tight end Evan Engram, so consider him as a decent-size punt (3.3X value) for only $3,200 on DraftKings.

Cash: L. Jackson, M. Andrews

GPP: G. Edwards, E. Engram, Ravens DST

Bears @ Jets (-4.5) (O/U 39.5)

Bears

The Bears enter the tri-state area with a questionable tag for quarterback Justin Fields, who suffered a shoulder injury last week. If he sits out, It will be Trevor Siemian season facing a tough Jets defense that already has 32 sacks on the year… I’ll pass on both this week. Another heavy dose of David Montgomery may be in store for Chicago’s game plan, but I would only recommend him in tournaments this week because of the matchup.

Jets

Zach Wilson is in timeout for Week 12 after an embarrassing loss to New England, handing Mike White the keys to the Jets’ offense. In four games, and three starts last season, White threw for 953 yards, five touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Four of those picks were against a top-ranked Buffalo defense in 2021, which led him back to the bench and I don’t put that against him. White will sling it and against this Bears’ beatable secondary he could easily pay off his very low salary ($4,900 on DraftKings). Keep him in tournaments, but the Jets’ D looks great against Siemian (if he starts) on the road.

Cash: Jets DST (Siemian plays)

GPP: M. White, D. Montgomery

Falcons @ Commanders (-4) (O/U 42)

Falcons

30% of the Atlanta target share went up for grabs when tight end Kyle Pitts landed on IR this week, putting Drake London in absolute control of the Falcon receiving core. The rookie first-round pick is in a smash spot as not only the featured receiver in Atlanta but a matchup with Kendall Fuller/Ben St.-Juste, who has been toasted all season. Quarterback Marcus Mariota, who may also be a sleeper at his position, will be looking for jersey number 5 (London) all afternoon.

Commanders

The same scenario for the Commanders can be said for Atlanta, as they face a bottom three DVOA pass defense in the league. Quarterback Taylor Heinicke has only had eyes for wideout Terry McLaurin in his return as a starter, targeting him 43 times in just five games. T-MC continues to be underpriced on DraftKings ($5,800) and should be considered a lock at receiver, but keep his QB Heinicke in tournaments.

*** Curtis Samuel and Johan Dotson can also get some love too in this contest

Cash: D. London, T. McLaurin

GPP: M. Mariota, T. Heinicke, C. Samuel, J. Dotson

Bengals @ Titans (+1.5) (O/U 42.5)

Bengals

Cincinnati will be without stud running back Joe Mixon due to concussion protocols, so is it Samaje Perine season again? Not so fast. He did score three touchdowns last week, but he’ll be splitting carries with Chris Evans against the number two rushing defense…buyer beware. It will be a Joe Burrow game for sure, facing a secondary ranked 30th in the NFL. If he gets his boy Ja’Marr Chase back, the field will be spread out, even more, making another Bengals’ stack enticing again this week. Higgins, Boyd, and tight end Hurst are all viable plays here too.

Titans

The Titans and Derrick Henry will be out for revenge after getting the boot from the Bengals in the 2021 AFC Wild Card game. Tennessee will as usual utilize their franchise battering ram at running back to keep Burrow off the field and chew time off the clock. If in fact, Tannehill does decide to air it out, rookie Treylon Burks has seen 14 targets in his last two games, cashing in for 10 of them. For only $4,200 on DraftKings, he makes a nice discount on a run-back play in a GPP stack of this game.

Cash: J. Burrow, D. Henry, T. Higgins (if Chase sits out)

GPP: J. Chase, T. Boyd, H. Hurst, T. Burks

Broncos @ Panthers (+2) (O/U 36)

Broncos

The Broncos finally waived running back Melvin Gordon leaving Latavius Murray as the only game in town at the position. He’s not sexy but will get a ton of volume and all the goal line work, but making him touchdown reliant averaging only three yards per carry this year. With all the chalk at running back this weekend, Murray may float under the radar against a Panther 26th DVOA to opposing running backs. Watch the weather in Carolina too, it could get uglier not just because Sam Darnold is starting at quarterback, but they may see some rain. Take that Bronco defense if you can.

Panthers

The Panthers are one piece away from being a solid team in the league, and without a quarterback, you can see how bad it has been. Sam Darnold will be getting the call to start, and Carolina is drawing at straws, desperately seeking an answer to this losing season. Possible rain, Surtain, and Darnold are telling us to stay clear this weekend with any Panthers.

Cash: Bronco DST

GPP: L. Murray

Bucs @ Browns (+3.5) (O/U 43)

Bucs

Another stadium that may be affected by wind and rain in Cleveland could put a damper on a Bucs offense that may be looking to throw a lot this weekend. Starting running back Leonard Fournette is listed as doubtful, giving a major opportunity to rookie Rachaad White to lead the backfield against the second-worst rushing defense. But when you’re playing with Brady, he’ll get you the ball rain, sleet, or shine. Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are always safe when healthy for DFS.

Browns

Jacoby Brissett hammered the Bills’ defense for 29 fantasy points last week, maybe we should ride the hot hand against the Bucs? Sure why not? He’s at home, his receivers are healthy, and he has one of the best running backs in football Nick Chubb. Cleveland’s defense has been a train wreck recently, Brissett will again be playing from behind and forcing his arm to air it out in what could be his last game this year. (Watson returns in Week 13). Keep Cleveland in your tournaments.

Cash: R. White, C. Godwin, M. Evans

GPP: J. Brissett, D. Njoku, N. Chubb, A. Cooper, D. Peoples-Jones

Raiders @ Seahawks (-3.5) (O/U 47.5)

Raiders

Vegas having one of the worst secondaries in the league forces Derek Carr and Davonte Adams to play catch all afternoon. Now with running back Josh Jacobs popping up on the injury report with a calf, Davonte may have even more of a role carved out for him in the offense. Seattle’s been no stranger to giving up big plays either, ranking 21st in DVOA to quarterbacks. Carr fed Adams 13 targets, catching 7 for 141 yards and two touchdowns in Denver, expect more of the same in Seattle. Adams for cash games, and Carr for GPPs.

Seahawks

The Raiders’ young and inexperienced secondary has been the league’s punching bag all season. What an opponent to have come off a bye week for Geno Smith and the Seahawks. At a measly $6,000 on DraftKings, Smith can hit value by halftime with receivers Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. And let’s not forget about the rookie phenom Kenneth Walker III, who may be finishing off plenty of drives into the endzone this weekend. The volume and game flow will favor Walker and the Seahawks if they end up with a sizeable lead in the second half.

Cash: G. Smith, D. Adams, D. Metcalf, K. Walker, T. Lockett

GPP: D. Carr

Chargers @ Cardinals (+4.5) (O/U 47.5)

Chargers

This matchup for Justin Herbert has a breakout written all over it against Arizona. One game removed from a lingering hamstring, Herbert’s number one Keenan Allen will be running circles around Marco Wilson and the Cardinal secondary, which will be without their top corner Byron Murphy Jr. Fellow Chargers’ wideout Mike Williams is set to miss another game, enter Josh Palmer. The second-year receiver could also see a big afternoon, like last week’s 8-106-2 stat line. There’s always Austin Ekeler in play, we can’t overlook LA’s top running back when he’s healthy, he’s a lock in all cash games.

Cardinals

Arizona is beat up on defense as we just spoke on, but they are getting back quarterback Kyler Murray. This is great news for DeAndre Hopkins, who gets peppered on a weekly basis by Murray. But consider James Connor this week at running back away from the chalk. He owns the backfield against one of the worst run defenses (30th in DVOA) in the league, if the game does get into a shoot-out, Connor may be a sneaky player at running back. Then there’s also Trey McBride taking over for Zach Ertz at tight end. The rookie saw a near 80% snap share in his debut as a starter, so he’s well worth a thought as a punt this weekend at tight end.

Cash: J. Herbert, K. Allen, D. Hopkins, A. Ekeler

GPP: J. Connor, J. Palmer, K. Murray, T. McBride

Saints @ Niners (-9.5) (O/U 43)

Saints

New Orleans is in limbo as far as their injury report on the defensive side of the ball, as this could determine a lot of what kind of action may be on the field come Sunday afternoon. On offense, it’s always Chris Olave at receiver, who is a magnet for the football in a Saints’ uniform. At running back, Alvin Kamara is a hard fade against the second-best run defense of San Fransisco. It’s Olave or bust in New Orleans, who’s still fairly priced on DraftKings ($6,600). Although tight end Juwan Johnson is quietly making some noise as a red zone threat, with three touchdowns in his last three games, take a shot on him in a tournament.

Niners

Along with the news we are still waiting for in New Orleans, receiver Deebo Samuel also appeared on the injury report yesterday. So teammates Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle will get a huge uptick in looks from Jimmy Garoppolo if he can’t suit up. Running back Christian McCaffrey is an auto start if you can pay up, as well as the top-five defense of the Niners. You’ll need a piece of San Fran in your lineup if Marshon Lattimore and Cam Jordan are in street clothes this Sunday.

Cash: C. McCaffrey, B. Aiyuk/G. Kittle (if Deebo sits out) C. Olave

GPP: J. Garoppolo, Niner DST, J. Johnson

Rams @ Chiefs (-14.5) (O/U 44)

Rams

When you thought it could not get any worse for the defending champs, out goes Matt Stafford with another concussion. Coach Sean McVay will roll the dice with third-stringer Bryce Perkins at quarterback, who may give the Rams a boost with the use of his legs under center. Young and inexperienced QBs tend to favor their safety valve at running back and tight end, so Bryce may lean on Kyren Williams and Tyler Higbee could be busy this weekend. Tournaments only guys, keep it safe.

Chiefs

Blood will be in the water at Arrowhead Stadium, as the Chiefs’ defense will put pressure on a rookie quarterback with one of the worst O-lines in the league. By now there’s no need to mention Mahomes and Kelce as they are always safe for cash, but given the game flow, they may be sitting out in the second half. My move would be to aim low for savings in the KC high-powered offense as a huge favorite. Isiah Pacheco and Skyy Moore could see some extra playing time if Kansas City is up big.

Cash: P. Mahomes, T. Kelce, Chiefs DST

GPP: B. Perkins, T. Higbee, K. Williams, I. Pacheco, S. Moore

Cash Core

J. Herbert, K. Allen, DK Metcalf, R. White, T. Kelce

GPP Core

G. Smith, J. Palmer, J. Connor, S. Moore, E. Engram

Stacks

J. Herbert/K. Allen/J. Palmer/A. Ekeler, J. Burrow/J. Chase (if he plays)/T. Higgins, G. Smith/ DK Metcalf/ T. Lockett/K. Walker III

Week Ten is in the books, and what a slate that was! We struck DFS gold with Watson ($3,700 DraftKings) thanks to our AETY model, and there are plenty more where that came from here in Week 11! I saw plenty of winning lines in our Discord this weekend, let’s keep the NFL chat room that way. On to the 11-game main slate, in this article, we’re going to give you bits and pieces for your DraftKings or FanDuel DFS lineup builds, take this insight and use it to your advantage! Time to break it down…here we go!

Sunday Main Slate 11/20/22

Browns @ Bills (-8) (O/U 41.5)

Browns

Well, no Blizzard Bowl this weekend in Buffalo, as the game has been moved to Detroit in the dome. The Browns will continue to utilize one of the best O-lines in the NFL, and behind it will be Nick Chubb. He’s had a nose for the endzone, currently leading all NFL running backs with 11 touchdowns. Buffalo’s secondary has been stingy all season, look for Cleveland to focus on the ground game and play keep away from Josh Allen in this one.

Bills

Josh Allen and the Bills catch a huge break from Old Man Winter and get a trip to Detroit for an indoor battle with Cleveland. Start up your Buffalo players on this slate, this Browns’ defense has been giving up boatloads of yardage, mainly against the run. The 31st DVOA to opposing running backs is good news for Devin Singletary as well as the Bills’ premier rusher quarterback Josh Allen.

Cash: J. Allen, S. Diggs, N. Chubb

GPP: D. Singletary, G. Davis

Lions @ Giants (-3) (O/U 45)

Lions

We’re not a fan of Jared Goff on the road, and facing a ferocious Giants’ pass rush hopefully, he can get rid of the ball quickly. New York should be run up the gut in order to move the football, who allows 133 yards per game on the season. We could see a bounce back in D’Andre Swift this week if he can get healthy, and Amon-Ra St. Brown being the only viable passing option he is a must-start for Detroit.

Giants

Probably the best matchup in line for the Giants’ top weapon at running back Saquon Barkley. He is single-handedly carrying the offense for the 7-2 G-Men, against the worst-ranked rushing defense, he will feast. New York also likes to get after the quarterback and force turnovers, maybe the road Jared Goff shows up at Met Life Stadium for some Giants DST fantasy points.

Cash: S. Barkley, A. St. Brown

GPP: D. Swift, Giants DST

Eagles @ Colts (+7) (O/U 44)

Eagles

The undefeated streak is over, and Hurts will look to re-establish himself in the win column. It will be a tough task on the road, but he gets the job done in fantasy regardless of the opponent. Hurts has been the best pound-for-pound dual-threat quarterback all season racking up 21 total touchdowns and a 106 QB rating. Always a safe play in DFS. The Eagles will also be without stud tight end Dallas Goedert for some time due to a shoulder injury, but receivers A J Brown and Devonta Smith will pick up the slack. A sneaky tournament punt at tight end would be backup Jack Stoll, who saw 40-57% of snaps from Weeks 4-8 while Goedert was healthy. Stoll will be a high-risk, high reward if he cashes one inside the pay dirt.

Colts

Indy looked great last week going back to their bread and butter on offense. Veteran Matt Ryan and running back Jonathon Taylor will go for two in a row at home. Philadelphia has had a shutdown secondary up until we saw cornerback Avonte Maddox go down Monday night. Paris Campbell will see plenty of rookie Josiah Scott on Sunday, we should see Ryan hook up with his new buddy Paris for another double-digit fantasy day. The price is still way too cheap for Campbell on DraftKings ($4,300).

Cash: J. Hurts, P. Campbell

GPP: J. Taylor

Jets @ Patriots (-3.5) (O/U 38)

Jets

Can the Jets finally get over the hump and take out Belichick and the Pats? They’ve had two weeks coming off a bye to figure out a game plan. With a 6-3 record, New York will need to work with what’s got them to this point, run the ball and play great defense. Meanwhile quarterback Zach Wilson has made a connection with first-round pick Garret Wilson. In their last two games, the Wilsons have linked up for 14 receptions and 207 yards, making Garret a steal at ($4,900) on DraftKings.

Patriots

The Pats’ quarterback situation may still be a puzzle this week, it all depends on who may have the hot hand, or who screws up. As it can always be a mystery with this offense, what has always been solid has been their defense. Jets’ quarterback Zach Wilson is no stranger to coughing up the football, and on the road, if he decides to play hero ball, Zach may make a few more mistakes.

Cash: Pats DST

GPP: G. Wilson, Jets DST

Panthers @ Ravens (-13) (O/U 41)

Panthers

The Panthers come into Baltimore with Baker Mayfield back under center. This spells potential disaster for fantasy across the board since Baker hasn’t started a game since Week 5. So don’t get cute this weekend by drafting any Carolina players facing this new and improved Baltimore defense. Let’s wait and see what happens, play it, safe guys.

Ravens

Lamar Jackson off a bye with rested legs, yup sign me up against this 26th DVOA Carolina rushing defense. And with a less than 100% Mark Andrews, the Ravens may choose to lean even more on the run, so Gus Edwards (if he plays) and Kenyon Drake are also roster-able this weekend. Don’t forget who is quarterbacking for Carolina too, so we may see Roquan Smith get more comfortable with his new team by rattling the cage of Baker Mayfield. Ravens DST is in play if you can pay up.

Cash: L. Jackson, M. Andrews (if healthy), Ravens DST

GPP: G. Edwards (if healthy), K. Drake

Bears @ Falcons (-3.5) (O/U 49)

Bears

Quarterback Justin Fields has been white hot, scrambling for 365 yards and rushing for three touchdowns in his last two games. He’s a lock again facing Atlanta in another dome game that could lead to another track meet for Fields. He’ll be chalky with tight end Cole Kmet who’s caught five touchdowns in his last three games. so if you want to mix it up in your lines go after the other Chicago pieces. David Montgomery, Darnell Mooney, and Chase Claypool are all playable at a discounted price against the worst-ranked passing DVOA in the NFL.

Falcons

This game totally has shoot-out potential, for when Chicago starts lighting up the scoreboard Atlanta and Marcus Mariota can absolutely keep up the pace with the Bears. Since Chicago unloaded their two best defenders in trade deals, they’ve allowed 115 points in their last three games. Although he is a risky play this week of a possible benching, Mariota has a ton of upside in this matchup. Kyle Pitts and Drake London will also be key benefactors if this game plays out. The falcons in DFS this week will allow you to pick up your high-end running backs (Saquon) and receivers (Jefferson).

Cash: J. Fields, K. Pitts

GPP: D. Montgomery, M. Mariota, D. London

Rams @ Saints (+1.5) (O/U 40)

Rams

Now that Cooper Kupp has been put on IR, this Rams offense could be way too unpredictable. Who knows where Stafford will look to use as his security blanket with Kupp on the bench? The targets are up for grabs in LA, but if I were looking to guess I would go cheap. The 6’4″ receiver Ben Skowronek is a nice value at ($3,900 DraftKings), but spending up for the de facto alpha Allen Robinson ($5,600 DraftKings) would not break the bank for a top-of-the-depth chart wideout. The matchup is also still great in New Orleans as long as corner Marshon Lattimore is still on the sidelines.

Saints

The rookie Chris Olave has taken full ownership of the receiving duties for the Saints well on his way to a 1,000yard season. No one is in his way of seeing all the volume, as veteran Jarvis Landry is still getting eased back into action, and Michael Thomas has been ruled out for the season. But what really excites me in this game is the Saints’ defense. Stafford has already been a pick machine, but now with the loss of Kupp and his weak offensive line getting downgraded with more injuries, the SaintsDST could be a top play this week.

Cash: C. Olave, NO DST

GPP: A. Robinson, B. Skowronek

Commanders @ Texans (+3.5) (O/U 41)

Commanders

Taylor Heinicke may still be on cloud nine after pulling off that road upset against the undefeated Eagles. The Commanders played a textbook game of keep away from Jalen Hurts, running it down their throats with Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson. They draw a very favorable matchup on a Texan defense that allows over 180 rushing yards per game. Target funnel “ScaryTerry McLaurin also will catch a break in Houston lining up across rookie Derek Stingley, who will be torched on Sunday. Get any of them in your builds for Week 11, way underpriced, especially on DraftKings!

Update: Derek Stingley is out.

Texans

Stud rookie running back Dameon Pierce gets the most usage for the Texans on offense and is automatic at this point. But Washington is also guilty of having its own issues at cornerback with St. Juste and Fuller. Nico Collins ($4,100 DraftKings) could be in line for a huge day (10 targets in Week 10) facing a Commander secondary that ranks 25th against opposing receivers.

Cash: T. McLaurin, B. Robinson, A. Gibson

GPP: N. Collins, D. Pierce

Raiders @ Broncos (-3) (O/U 41)

Raiders

Vegas with a record of 2-7 and losing their fourth straight game are on the brink of a total meltdown. But don’t blame Davonte Adams for their struggles, he’s scored over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. He has fully taken over for the Raiders’ offense along with running back Josh Jacobs, who may have a sneaky smash spot in Denver. The Broncos gave up 144 yards on the ground to Jacobs in their first meeting. Not that any improvements have been made, they were gashed two weeks ago by Erienne for 156 yards. Pick your poison in Vegas.

Broncos

Denver on the other hand is down to one healthy receiver in Courtland Sutton, Let’s Ride…Vegas’ secondary has been a laughingstock of the league and is unable to cover anyone (27th in receiver DVOA) who has been rolled out onto the field this season. Sutton and tight end Greg Dulcich should receive all the passing volume if the injuries to Jeudy, Hamler, and Hinton keep them sidelined.

Cash: C. Sutton, D. Adams

GPP: J. Jacobs, G. Dulcich

Cowboys @ Vikings (+1.5) (O/U 47.5)

Cowboys

America’s Team suffered a tough road loss in Green Bay, allowing them to come back from a 17point deficit to victory. Put it on the Cowboys’ defense though, Dak has looked back to his normal self after his recent injury, paving the way for receiver Cee Dee Lamb and tight end Dalton Schultz to be fantasy relevant again. The Vikes are 8-1, but don’t let their record fool you as they are ranked 29th against the pass. Plenty of fireworks indoors in Minnesota, we will need to attack here for sure in DFS.

Vikings

Justin Jefferson is a god. That catch in Buffalo went down as one of the best in a long time. If you have the space, put him in. If you want to pay down for some Vikings we have other options though. Tight end TJ Hockenson has seen a ton of volume since the trade, seeing 19 total targets. Dalvin Cook, remember him? He’s in another smash spot against Dallas who’s been slammed in their last two games for over 300 rushing yards.

Cash: J. Jefferson, C. Lamb, D. Cook, T. Hockenson

GPP: D. Prescott

Bengals @ Steelers (+4) (O/U 41)

Bengals

Coming off a bye week Burrow and the gang will want to get some payback from their embarrassing home-opening loss in Week One. But with TJ Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick back on defense, it could be a little risky paying up for the Bengals this week. Keep them out of your cash builds and take shots in tournaments only.

Steelers

If you’re looking for a discount defense this week ($2,300 DraftKings), look no further. The sites still have not yet adjusted to the fact that Pittsburgh’s defense is much healthier with Watt and Fitzpatrick back. Another bargain with the Steelers is rookie receiver, George Pickens. He gets a rookie Bengal corner Cam Taylor-Britt…which should set him up to ball out even more, as he is already Pickett’s number-one target.

Cash: Pittsburgh DST, G. Pickens

GPP: J. Burrow

Cash Core 4

J. Fields, B.Robinson/A. Gibson, C. Lamb, K. Pitts

GPP Core 4

M. Mariota, D. Cook, D. Schultz, D. Mooney

Stacks

J. Allen/S. Diggs, J. Fields/ C. Kmet/D. Mooney/C. Claypool, M. Mariota/D. London/K. Pitts

Ten games to examine in Week 10 of the NFL Sunday Slate, we are already into double-digit weeks into the season! Time flies when you are setting lineups and cashing in DFS. This week is pretty cut and dry, with four teams on bye and the league loaded with injuries we can come to a conclusion on where we want to attack in DFS. Always take advantage of the projection model to give you that extra edge on the competition, and tag me @jdicarlo78 or any of our staff on our Discord for any help on who to get in your lineups up until lock. Let’s get it on!

Sunday Main Slate 11/13/22

Browns @ Dolphins (-3.5) (O/U 49.5)

Browns

Miami has been an opponent’s worst nightmare to defend, and if they run up the score on Sunday, Jacoby Brissett will be throwing more often than handing the ball off to Nick Chubb. As well as the Dolphins can put up points, they bleed them out just as fast. Miami has given up 59 points in their last two games providing fantasy value at every position. We can target the Browns’ receivers (Cooper and DPJ), Chubb, and even Kareem Hunt if you really want to be dirty. If you want to be a contrarian, Jacoby Brissett at his price tag ($5,400 DraftKings/$) would save you some dough in a tournament.

Dolphins

Welcome to Miami…and the Dolphins plan on showing the Browns around town in circles this weekend. With Tua being the highest-rated quarterback (115.9) and Tyreek Hill leading the league in receiving yards (1,104), not one team has had any answers to defend them. The Browns still struggle against the run and are 29th in DVOA. Newly acquired Jeff Wilson Jr. has fit right into this 49er-style rushing attack and at ($5,500 DraftKings/$6,500 FanDuel) he could provide some cap relief.

Cash: T. Tagovailoa, T. Hill, A. Cooper, N. Chubb

GPP: D. Peoples-Jones, J. Wilson Jr., J. Brissett

Texans @ Giants (-4) (O/U 41)

Texans

The Texans’ offense has been heavy doses of rookie running back Dameon Pierce, primarily due to their lack of a competent quarterback. Pierce, who’s been averaging 22 touches over his last three games, is the only show in town for Houston thus far, but if Nico Collins can get back out there at wideout in New York this week I can see taking a flier on him at a measly ($4,000 DraftKings/$5,500 FanDuel)

Giants

Fresh off a bye and a tough loss on the road in Seattle in Week 8, the Giants fall into a nice bounce-back situation at home against the Texans. New head coach Brian Daboll will ride the hot hand and continue forcing stud bell-cow Saquon Barkley down opposing defenses’ throats. You’ll pay a hefty price for him at ($8,900 DraftKings/$9,500 FanDuel) but it will be well worth facing a Texan run defense who could not stop a runny nose (dead last at 32nd DVOA). Don’t let Barkley’s salary scare you away, Tennessee’s Derrick Henry was at ($8,400 DraftKings) when he crushed it with 38 DK points.

Cash: S. Barkley, D. Pierce, Giants DST

GPP: N. Collins

Jaguars @ Chiefs (-9.5) (O/U 51)

Jaguars

On the road coming into Arrowhead as double-digit dogs, the Jaguars will need to put it in 5th gear at kickoff. The Lawrence and Kirk combo is in full effect for this game, and a sprinkle of Etienne would not be a bad idea either. If Jacksonville were to fall behind by a large lead, or perhaps they do come out swinging, it would be this trio of Jaguars to move the football. The Chiefs’ zone defense allows heavy rushing (25th in DVOA) and passing (25th in DVOA) allowing opponents to move the chains on a game-to-game basis, relying more on Mahomes and the offense to pull off wins

Chiefs

I’ll skip the Mahomes and Kelce hype, we all know they are locks. The big news out of Kansas City on Friday was the downgrade of running back Jerrick Mckinnon (62% snap share in Week 9) and the ruling out of receiver Mecole Hardman (54% snap share in Week 9). This opens up so many doors in Kansas City for value plays this weekend. Isiah Pacheco and Kadarius Toney could make great GPP possibilities on Sunday. This news also ramps up more opportunities for starters MVS and Ju Ju.

Cash: P. Mahomes, T. Kelce, T. Etienne, C. Kirk, J. Smith-Schuster

GPP: T. Lawrence, I. Pacheco, K. Toney, M. Scantling

Broncos @ Titans (-3) (O/U 38)

Broncos

Bronco Country… Let’s not F this one up. Five starters on the Titans’ defense have already been ruled out including Bud Dupree. Russel Wilson (holding my breath as I type this) should light up this Tennessee secondary without breaking a sweat. Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton have fallen way down in pricing because of this dumpster fire of an offense, let’s hope and pray we can use all three this week and hit. Tight end rookie Greg Dulcich continues to crush his salary and will be the chalk at his position for the slate. Lastly, Tennessee has no quarterback! Malik Willis in two games has not thrown for 64 yards and Ryan Tannehill is still banged up, start-up that Bronco D!

Titans

They were a train wreck to watch in Primetime of Week 9, I thought I would never say that I’m looking forward to Ryan Tannehill getting back under center for the Titans. With or without him, Tennessee will continue to feed the beast of Derrick Henry into a Denver front seven that has been smoked by the likes of Travis Etienne (156 rushing yards last week) and Josh Jacobs (144 rushing yards in Week 4).

Cash: G. Dulcich, D. Henry, Broncos DST

GPP: R. Wilson, J. Jeudy, C. Sutton

Vikings @ Bills (-3.5) (O/U 43.5)

Vikings

We’re gonna fade on the offensive pieces of Minnesota this week guys, just too pricy against a Buffalo defense that will need to pick up the slack for their injured quarterback Josh Allen, who may not play. On that note, that Minnesota defense at ($2,200 DraftKings/$3,200 FanDuel) is looking very tasty facing a less than 100% Josh Allen, Case Keenum, or Matt Barkley commanding the offense on what may be a chilly and soggy afternoon in Buffalo.

Bills

I’m sure everybody has heard the news about star quarterback Josh Allen’s elbow, and it doesn’t look good for Week 10. Beware of using any of the Bills this weekend since we really have no idea what the coaching staff plans on doing. I’ve mentioned in my quarterback Week 10 article of using Case Keenum as a flier, but now today I have heard some buzz about the possibility of seeing third-stringer Matt Barkley. Let’s watch and see what happens this weekend fellas and go from there next weekend.

Cash: Vikings DST

GPP:

Lions @ Bears (-2.5) (O/U 48.5)

Lions

Will we see the road Jared Goff in Chicago? I sure hope not. Amon-Ra St. Brown with his 30% target share is the only game in town for the Lions against this tapped-out Bears’ defense. The Hock is gone, Josh Reynolds is out, Swift still getting eased back in, and two rookie tight ends. Can we get another 40 burger like in Week 2 for Amon, Jared? Asking for a friend.

Bears

The chalkiest play at quarterback will absolutely be Justin Fields this week after he scorched Miami for 45 DK points in a Week 9 shoot-out. I get it, totally way too cheap and a nice plug-in for cash, but what if the Lions do not put up enough of a fight? Let’s think outside the box. Running back David Montgomery still owns 70% of the snaps, if Fields doesn’t have to scramble, then he benefits as well as Chase Claypool on the outside. Coach Eberflus has spoken publicly about bringing more work toward Claypool this coming week. Let’s get in on the action while he is dirt cheap ($4,800 DraftKings/$5,800 FanDuel).

Cash: J. Fields

GPP: A. St. Brown, C. Claypool, D. Montgomery

Saints @ Steelers (+1.5) (O/U 40)

Saints

Looks like the Saints will be a little healthier as veteran receiver Jarvis Landry will finally be back in the lineup. This should create some space between defenders for the rookie phenom Chris Olave. Pittsburgh will be getting DPOY linebacker TJ Watt back as well, so the Saints better have Dalton get rid of that ball quickly and accurately, or else.

Steelers

The Chase Claypool move to Chicago left a huge opportunity for receptions in the Steel City. Pickens, Diontae Johnson, and Pat Friermuth should be seeing a nice uptick in usage. The Saints’ dead-last receiver DVOA that is still without Marshon Lattimore should give a huge boost in fantasy value. We may see Kenny Pickett break 20 fantasy points against this hot mess of a defense, take a flier stack on some Steelers this week.

Cash: C. Olave, D. Johnson

GPP: K. Pickett, G. Pickens, Steelers DST

Colts @ Raiders (-4.5) (O/U 40.5)

Colts

New head coach Jeff Saturday, a former offensive lineman in Indianapolis, has no coaching experience. What would you do if you were in his shoes? Right, give the ball to your best playmaker Jonathon Taylor. Deon Jackson is out, and Phillip Lindsay was sent packing, He’s the last man standing and has gotten plenty of practice this week. His price has plunged into the $7K range on DraftKings, which makes him a great under-the-radar move in DFS.

Raiders

Vegas has placed tight end Darren Waller and receiver Hunter Renfrow on IR this week. Davante Adams will absolutely benefit from this dilemma, but so will the 6’4″ Mack Hollins. Carr has favored him all season, and the last time he was in this situation he exploded for 30 plus DK points. Enjoy a free bee and pick up the Mack daddy

Cash: M. Hollins

GPP: J. Taylor

Cowboys @ Packers (+4) (O/U 43)

Cowboys

The Cowboys have not had much luck in Lambeau Field over the recent years, possibly due to not being used to the local weather. I’m hesitant to spend too much salary here in Dallas, but tight end Dalton Schultz is way too cheap. He’s only $3,800 on DraftKings and facing a bottom-tier DVOA to tight ends (21st) sign me up.

Packers

The Packers may soon be packing it in this year. Rodgers‘ frustration may have a loss of loyalty with some of his teammates. He at some point will have to start trusting his teammates and with his receiving core decimated by injury, it’s time. Rookie Christian Watson is well worth his price tag to be the guy this week to step up. Take a shot for $3,700 on DraftKings.

Cash:

GPP: C. Watson, D. Schultz

Cardinals @ Rams (-1.5) (O/U 40.5)

Cardinals

Kyler Murray popped up on the injury report this week with a hamstring issue. If he does suit up, be careful. History shows that a less than 100% Kyler refused to run in previous seasons, if you’re looking for the rushing upside it may not be here this week. The Cardinals’ defense may be worthy. Matt Stafford is still in concussion protocols, setting up second-string quarterback John Wolford to start behind a swiss cheese O-line.

Rams

I never thought I would see the week to fade Cooper Kupp, but it has arrived. Too expensive to trust in the hands of John Wolford. A limping Kyler Murray or another backup quarterback scenario in Arizona would tempt me to also use the Rams DST. Aaron Donald chasing McSorely around SoFi Stadium could light up your DST slot this weekend.

Sunday Main Slate 11/6/22

Bills @ Jets (+12.5) (O/U 47)

Bills

A walk in the park for Buffalo at the Meadowlands this weekend, start your Bills in cash games. Josh Allen and the Bills’ receiving core really need no explanation, with Diggs already grabbing 55 receptions and 7 touchdowns through 7 games. Another strong play would be the Bills’ DST, who have shut down the best of offenses (held Kansas City to 20 points) and should be able to contain Zach Wilson and the Jets with their eyes closed.

Jets

Jets’ quarterback Zach Wilson will have a short leash at home facing the number one defense of the AFC. He’ll need to stick to the short-yardage passing game for this one to have a chance to move the ball and avoid the interceptions. Check downs to running backs Michael Carter and James Robinson could be on the menu.

Cash: J. Allen, S. Diggs, Bills DST

GPP: M. Carter, J. Robinson

Vikings @ Commanders (+3.5) (O/U 43.5)

Vikings

Kirk Cousins is back in town after Washington released him in 2018, which may still sting a little from 4 years ago. It will be bittersweet for him to pick apart the Commanders’ secondary on Sunday, mainly looking to Kendall Fuller’s assignment of Justin Jefferson, which will be a giant mismatch. You can bet your bottom dollar Kirk will look to pad his numbers up in this game against his former team who refused to pay up.

Commanders

Backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke is not only 2-0 since taking over for the injured Carson Wentz, but has brought Terry McLaurin back to WR1 status. They’ve combined for 11 receptions for 186 yards and 1 touchdown in their two games. McLaurin is still underpriced ($5,900 DraftKings/$7,200 Fanduel) facing the 26th DVOA against receivers

Cash: K. Cousins, J. Jefferson, T. McLaurin

GPP: T. Heinicke

Dolphins @ Bears (+5.5) (O/U 45.5)

Dolphins

Chicago unloaded their two best players on defense before the trade deadline of Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn this week, hello Miami! We are all in again on Dolphins this week, Tua will be in the driver’s seat in this high-octane offense featuring Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The trio scored a total of 100 DK points last week in Detroit.

Bears

The Bears may have finally begun to reap the rewards of drafting Justin Fields in 2021, averaging 25 fantasy points in his last two games. Using his canon of an arm (330 yards and 3 touchdowns)and being swift with his legs (148 yards/2 TDs), he’s a steal at his pricetag ($5,300 DraftKings/$7,400 FanDuel) and a nice flyer for a GPP.

Cash: T. Tagovailoa, T. Hill, J. Waddle

GPP: J. Fields

Panthers @ Bengals (-7.5) (O/U 42.5)

Panthers

Chuba Hubbard still can’t shake that bum ankle, which means it’s D’Onta Foreman time again. The Bengals have given up over 130 yards rushing over the past four games putting Foreman in another smash position. Both receivers (DJ Moore/Terrace Marshall) are way too cheap on DraftKings and are very viable in the reinvigorated passing offense.

**Punt play: The Carolina defense ($2,300 on DraftKings) may pile up sacks against an erratic Cincinnati O-line.

Bengals

Tight end Kyle Pitts was brought back from the dead thanks to Carolina’s defense, so will Hayden Hurst be in line for the same scenario? Ja’Marr Chase‘s vacated targets will need to be funneled elsewhere… A discounted Hurst at tight end and the interim Bengals WR 1 Tee Higgins would be legit. The Bengals are in a smash spot to bounce back after taking a huge beating by Cleveland in Week 8.

Cash: D. Foreman, T. Marshall, H. Hurst

GPP: T. Higgins, Carolina DST, DJ Moore

Chargers @ Falcons (+3.5) (O/U 49.5)

Chargers

LA’s offense has been decimated by injuries, both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are out again, leaving Herbert limited in passing options in Atlanta. The Bolts will be left with Josh Palmer and tight end Gerald Everett as primary targets in the best possible matchup this year…that atrocious Falcons’ secondary. In reality, it’s Austin Ekeler that is the heart of the Chargers’ offense, getting in all the work in the running (5 rushing TDs) and passing game (22 REC/1 TD in his last 2 games)

Falcons

Atlanta loves to run the ball in the trenches, and LA loves to accommodate opposing running backs, who are 31st in DVOA. Keep an eye on Cordarrelle Patterson’s injury status and workload. If he plays and gets eased in, Atlanta may become a platoon at running back with Tyler Allgeier and Caleb Huntley. Too risky to choose, would be nice for the Milli-Maker though. Drake London has been the only consistent piece in this offense, keep it simple if you like any Falcons this weekend.

Cash: A. Ekeler, J. Palmer, G. Everett

GPP: D. London, J. Herbert

Packers @ Lions (+4) (O/U 49.5)

Packers

Green Bay will try to get back to .500 against a Lions team that’s allowed the most yards and points so far this season. Rodgers may as well just feed running back Aaron Jones all-day long against Detroit’s dumpster-fire run defense. Let’s also wait and see if Allen Lazard can make it onto the field too, with 4 touchdowns in 6 games, Lazard has been the only receiver in this offense that has taken a liking by Rodgers.

Lions

Even more targets are headed toward Amon-Ra St. Brown this Sunday with the departure of tight end TJ Hockenson. I can’t wait to see the volume this weekend, if you thought Jared Goff peppered St. Brown before, wait until this Sunday. The Lions are only 4-point underdogs here in this game, and may actually have a shot at beating the underwhelming Packers. The road to their second win of the year is through St. Brown.

Cash: A. Jones, A. St. Brown

GPP: A. Lazard, A. Rodgers

Colts @ Patriots (-5.5) (O/U 40)

Colts

Well looks like they’re starting to tank. Jonathon Taylor has already been ruled out and quarterback Sam Ehlinger from what we saw last week is just not ready for the big show. But we sure will take the free-99 at running back with Deon Jackson, whose last start produced close to 30 fantasy points in Taylor’s absence. Be aware also of the struggle on the opposite sideline of New England as they’ve been unable to decide on who to start at quarterback all season. The Colts DST is in play guys and gals.

Patriots

Coach Belichick loves to pick on rookies, especially opposing quarterbacks. Sam Ehlinger will be a deer in headlights on Sunday when the Patriot defense goes full-on blitz at the inexperienced signal caller. That’s just the appetizer though, the main course in New England has been running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who has put up over 20 fantasy points in his last 4 games. With Damien Harris continuing to carry a questionable tag, Stevenson will still command this backfield.

Cash: R. Stevenson, Patriots DST

GPP: D. Jackson, Colts DST

Raiders @ Jaguars (+1.5) (O/U 48)

Raiders

Expect Vegas to start out with a ton of emotion after getting shut out in New Orleans in Week 8. Davante Adams was under the weather up until game time last week, which may have lingered on the field. Derek Carr and Josh Jacobs also looked out of sorts, we can chalk this up as just an oops. The Raiders will go back to the basics and pound the pigskin with Jacobs on a softer Jaguars front line who now rank 25th in DVOA and work Adams back up to his normal reception volume. Consider taking a flyer on receiver Mack Hollins too, who seems to have won Carr’s trust and put up double-digit fantasy points in his last two games.

Jaguars

Jacksonville and coach Doug Pederson have fully unlocked running back Travis Etienne, the dude just always gets the ball and gets the job done fantasy-wise. The second-year stud out of Clemson has rushed for 270 yards in his last two games. He will face a Vegas defense that was gashed a week ago by Alvin Kamara’s 150 total yards, 3 touchdown game. Tight end Evan Engram is grossly cheap (DraftKings $3,300) for a guy seeing 6 plus targets per game. Lawrence and Kirk have become very affordable as well, so If you’re in the mood to stack for a GPP this weekend, your build may be right here!

Cash: D. Adams, C. Kirk, T. Etienne, E. Engram

GPP: J. Jacobs, T. Lawrence, M. Hollins

Seahawks @ Cardinals (-2) (O/U 49.5)

Seahawks

It’s time for our weekly dose of Marco Wilson, and Seattle is on deck for Sunday afternoon. Both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are in the mix here, pick ya poison. The Cards will also let you run on them too, who have allowed over 130 yards in 2 of 4 previous games, 173 yards alone last week to the Vikings. Kenneth Walker is still way too cheap on DraftKings ($6,200) for Vegas’ highest-scoring game on the slate.

Cardinals

“Reunited and it feels so good”…is the song playing in the locker room for DeAndre Hopkins and Kyler Murray these days. The duo from the desert have hooked up on 22 grabs for 262 yards and a touchdown in Hopkins‘ return from a suspension in week 7…Marquis who? The AETY Model for some odd reason is also feeling like some Rondale Moore this weekend, perhaps if he lines up across from the Seahawks’ Coby Bryant? Yup, get him in on a dart throw.

Cash: D. Metcalf, T. Lockett, K. Murray, D. Hopkins

GPP: R. Moore, K. Walker

Rams @ Bucs (-3) (O/U 42.5)

Rams

It’s so hard to believe that the Rams are the defending Super Bowl champs from the way they’ve played this season. “F@$k them picks” is beginning to show its true colors, the price to pay for selling them off for a championship for a cottage cheese 2022 offensive line. The run game has been obliterated in LA, and Matt Stafford can tell you how many light bulbs are out at SoFi Stadium from the amount of time laying on his back. It’s Kupp only for us here, as usual.

Bucs

Can Brady and the Bucs finally bounce back this week and get back control of the NFC South? His main weapons are at full strength with Evans and Godwin, and as far as we know 100 percent healthy. Now that the Goat’s divorce is finally behind him, he may focus more on football now. Godwin has a sweet matchup on that cushy Rams’ interior pass defense, and Evans can do what he does best and get in the endzone. Tampa’s recent bad play as of late has put them in the fantasy doghouse, projecting super-low ownership across the board. Get your Bucs in for a tournament or two. Cash Is king although, and that Bucs’ DST will turn that frown upside down when it’s knocking Stafford around like a pinball on Sunday.

Well, we are just about halfway through the NFL season here in Week 8 and each game is becoming more and more critical to the league as we move in deeper. As starters begin to wear down and miss time due to injury, their backups slide in to pick up where they left off, and at the same time provide value in DFS. Our projection model is like the Holy Grail on Sunday mornings, it keeps us from needing a Hail Mary to cash in our tickets! Always remember to hop on our Discord chat and tag me @JDiCarlo78 or any of our staff for questions or advice, now let’s break down this Week 8 slate!

Sunday Main Slate 10/30/22

Patriots @ Jets (+2.5) (O/U 40.5)

Patriots

A quarterback competition has erupted in New England thanks to head coach Bill Bellichick losing faith in his 2021 first-round pick Mac Jones after only 3 series on Monday night. Backup QB Bailey Zappe then gets his number called only to end up playing poorly in the second half to lose at home. So what does this mean for DFS? Play it safe and stay clear of the New England pass offense. Stick with the Patriots’ golden goose, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who has obliterated stat sheets averaging over 20 fantasy points a game in his last three starts. We always do like a defense that gets to pick on Zach Wilson too so that Pats DST is in full effect.

Jets

New York lost Breece Hall for the rest of the season last week to a torn ACL, which will have serious repercussions for this Jets’ run-heavy offense moving forward. The Jets did trade for Jaguars’ 1,000-yard rusher James Robinson this week, but talk has been to limit him until he gets up to speed in the offense. This leaves change-of-pace running back Michael Carter to inherit New York’s backfield against a Patriot’s run defense that forfeited over 200 yards rushing to Chicago on Monday night. And since the Patriots still can’t figure out who to hike the ball, start up the Jets DST too, why not?

Cash: R. Stevenson, M. Carter, Jets DST, Pats DST

GPP: None

Steelers @ Eagles (-10.5) (O/U 43)

Steelers

Rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett will see the toughest defense he’s ever laid his young eyes on in Philly this weekend. The Eagles also added All-Pro defensive end Robert Quinn via trade from Chicago this week which should be should be even more pressure on Pickett. Avoid the Steelers like the plague for Week 8.

Eagles

Returning from a bye week at 6-0, the Eagles should close this game out by halftime facing the woeful 2-5 Steelers. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has shown us to be a true leader on the field and his talent has been key to Phila’s success. Use him nude or pair him with an Eagle receiver, and running back Miles Sanders should have a positive game script being favored by double-digits. If you have enough salary left in your builds, the Eagles DST will also be in full effect seeing a rookie quarterback with an absent running game. But beware of a potential blowout, many Eagles may be on the bench in the fourth quarter if it does get out of hand, so don’t go too heavy on Philadelphia.

Cash: J. Hurts, A. Brown, M. Sanders, Eagles DST

GPP: None

Dolphins @ Lions (+3.5) (O/U 51.5)

Dolphins

Fins up in Detroit! Tua and Tyreek will be busy in the Silverdome racking up fantasy points together. The Lions have ranked in the bottom of the barrel in pass coverage (31st in receiving DVOA) and stopping the run (30th in rushing DVOA), which also sets up Raheem Mostert nicely as did Zeke last weekend in Dallas.

Lions

Detroit will need to keep up the high pace of Miami, which shouldn’t be a big deal so long as AmonRa and D’Andre Swift are good to go. Quarterback Jared Goff being back at home should perform much better than the road QB imposter. And with his weapons back at full strength, we should see some fireworks against Miami, who also has struggled defensively this year (28th in receiving DVOA).

Cash: T. Tagovailoa, T. Hill, A. St. Brown, R. Mostert

GPP: D. Swift, J. Waddle

Cardinals @ Vikings (-3.5) (O/U 49)

Cardinals

Kyler Murray will look to repeat his performance from the last time he played Minnesota throwing for 400 yards and 4 total touchdowns, 1 of them scurried in himself. Now with his main man DeAndre Hopkins back from suspension, anything is possible. The duo from the desert have not missed a beat over the lost time, hooking up on 10 of 14 targets for 103 yards last week. The Vikings are no stranger to getting beat by the pass, as they rank the fifth-worst in air yards allowed per game.

Vikings

The Cardinals have been like a red-headed stepson when it comes to its secondary and our projection model, and this week their punching bag Marco Wilson gets to try and contain Justin Jefferson. Adam Thielen will get a sprinkle of Wilson’s coverage too, but the one position Arizona completely ignores is the tight end. Irv Smith is sitting pretty this weekend at $3,500 DraftKings/$5,000 FanDuel. Don’t forget about Cousins, as he will be the guy to get these fellas the pigskin.

Cash: K. Murray, D. Hopkins, J. Jefferson

GPP: A. Thielen, I. Smith, K. Cousins

Panthers @ Falcons (-4) (O/U 41)

Panthers

Last week Carolina handed the Bucs and Tom Brady possibly the worst loss of his career, holding them to a single field goal. The team has been reborn since star running back Christian McCaffrey, guys like DJ Moore have finally resurfaced in DFS. Moore’s line of 7 REC/69 YDS/1 TD of last week can be even better in Atlanta (32nd DVOA to receivers). Even more, news broke on Friday as running back Chuba Hubbard will sit out with an ankle, leaving the backfield to D’Onta Foreman. The Panther lead back for Week 8 still has some pep in his step, rushing for 168 yards against Tampa.

Falcons

The Falcons’ run-first, slow-pace offense has been grinding it out in the trenches all season, and at the same time destroying its roster in fantasy value. Kyle Pitts…who? The one shining star here is rookie Drake London, who also is beginning to feel the effects of the scheme. You can’t really trust any of Atlanta’s assets in cash, use them in tournaments only…which would only be London for me.

Cash: DJ Moore

GPP: D. London, D. Foreman

Bears @ Cowboys (-9.5) (O/U 42.5)

Bears

Chicago is flying high on a short week with their upset win in New England. If they want to keep the ball rolling, they must stick to the run game. The Bears will continue the one-two punch of Montgomery and Herbert in the run game, with quarterback Justin Fields too. The Cowboys will be looking to pounce on every snap, so Fields will need to make the right decisions. Chicago’s three-headed monster ran for 200 yards as a unit against the Patriots, they’ll keep that playbook this week.

Cowboys

After scoring two touchdowns hosting the Lions last week, Zeke’s knee will keep him sidelined this weekend. Tony Pollard is a lay-up, so sleep like a baby in one of your RB slots for Week 8. The Bears have been generous to opposing running backs, allowing a healthy double-digit fantasy score in 6 of 7 weeks.

Cash: T. Pollard

GPP: J. Fields, D. Montgomery

Raiders @ Saints (+1.5) (O/U 49.5)

Raiders

The flu bug bit a bunch of players for Vegas this week including Davonte Adams, keeping them out of practice up until Friday. New Orleans once again is without shutdown corner Marshon Lattimore, so all of Vegas’ receivers will eat, especially Adams. For some value on this slate, Mack Hollins ($4,500 DraftKings/$5,600 FanDuel) has taken a liking to Derek Carr, seeing 366 total snaps, and could eat here also in the “Big Easy”.

Saints

Whether it’s Andy Dalton or Jameis Winston at quarterback, the ball has been funneled to rookie stud Chris Olave. Fellow receivers Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry are out again, so Olave is a lock once more, averaging close to 17 DK points per game. Keep in mind if Vegas does decide to put some pressure on Dalton, Kamara can also be effective as a PPR machine on Sunday.

Cash: D. Adams, C. Olave

GPP: M. Hollins, A. Kamara

Titans @ Texans (+2) (O/U 40.5)

Titans

I’ll keep writing this every week if I have to, this team goes where Derrick Henry goes…and in Houston, it could get ugly this weekend. The Texans are dead last against the run, so one of the best there is in Henry may be worth paying up for at running back.

Texans

If and when Houston can get the ball on offense, they will be throwing it at one of the weakest secondaries in the league (31st in DVOA). Pay attention to the injury news for Houston about Nico Collins. If he is out (has missed practice all week) slide in Phillip Dorsett ($3,200 DraftKings/$5,300 FanDuel) for huge savings at wideout.

Cash: D. Henry

GPP: N. Collins

Giants @ Seahawks (-3) (O/U 44.5)

Giants

At 6-1, New York keeps making the haters shake their heads every week in disbelief. A very sneaky solid defense and Saquon Barkley have been the key to success this year. In what looks to be a soggy afternoon in Seattle, use them both. Watch out but the Giants may have one decent receiver rookie Wandale Robinson, who will see a great matchup against Seattle’s Coby Bryant.

Seahawks

It looks like DK Metcalf is not suiting up this week, and if he does, we will still stay away. Mr. Lockett too, this Giants’ defense has been a problem to quarterbacks and receivers all year ( averaging 211 yards passing per game allowed) The run defense is a tale of two cities, ranked 28th and allowing 144 yards per game. Seahawks rookie first-round pick Kenneth Walker is in line for a huge day, and still way too cheap on DraftKings ($6,500).

Cash: S. Barkley, K. Walker

GPP: Giants DST, W. Robinson

Commanders @ Colts (-2.5) (O/U 39.5)

Commanders

The Colts will be rolling out quarterback Sam Ehlinger to make his first career start, which makes the Commander defense pretty enticing. Priced affordably ($2,600 DraftKings/$3,400 FanDuel), they’re worth a shot in order to save up and possibly smash if Ehlinger slips up.

Colts

The flip side of Ehlinger is how we can have a quarterback for minimum value ($4,000 DraftKings/$6,000 FanDuel) who has a great chance to pay off his salary and go nuts on a terrible Commanders secondary. Play him naked, since there is no real history of who he will favor. But from the buzz I’ve heard over the news sites, he will be a much more mobile quarterback than Matt Ryan.

Cash: S. Ehlinger

GPP: Commander DST

Niners @ Rams (+1.5) (O/U 43)

Niners

Wide-back Deebo Samuel news broke Friday that he will sit this one out, which would beef up the target share for every other Niner. CMC is still way too expensive to trust yet in this new offense, especially against a stingy LA run defense. Jimmy G will have to go to battle with his new shoulder on the road, the next men up are Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle. The field will be elsewhere on the slate so these two will fit nicer in a GPP.

Rams

If you have to pay up, then your man is Cooper Kupp. He’s approaching $10,000 on both formats so it may be wise to avoid Kupp until he becomes a little cheaper. Other than Kupp, Matt Stafford looks to tight end, Tyler Higbee, a ton compared to the rest of the team (34 REC/50 TGTS). Lastly, Deebo out of the mix could spell trouble for Jimmy G and the Niners’ banged-up offensive line. The Rams DST would be an under-the-radar play considering the sacks and fumbles that may occur if the Niners can’t get open.

Cash: C. Kupp, T. Higbee

GPP: G. Kittle, B. Aiyuk, Rams DST

Upset after upset, there were a few games to put in the back of our heads from Week 6. That’s why we need to stick to our 50/50s in order to keep our bankrolls afloat. But Week 6’s curveballs did not stop one of our subscribers from taking down a GPP for $3K... congrats again you know who you are! Josh Allen, Stef Diggs, Kelce, and Andrews all got us there. Stick to Stix’s projection model, it works and answers most of your questions on who to start up until kickoff. So we have another 11-game slate but with some real bangers on bye…Buffalo and Phila, are two of the best rosters for fantasy. The Vikes and Rams are off too, so no Kupp or JJ this week either. But we got this, still plenty of paths to victory this week! Keep in mind I’m always on our Discord chat guys, just tag me @JDiCarlo78#5965 for any questions about your lineup builds. Now let’s break down this Week 7 slate!

Sunday Main Slate 10/23/22

Giants @ Jaguars (-3) (O/U 42)

Giants

New York at an astounding 5-1 record, has dominated in the clutch with their defense and utilized their most dynamic weapon when the ball is in his hands. Wink Martindale loves to play man-to-man and blitz a ton, we shall see how Lawrence reacts to the pressure. As for Saquon Barkley, he continues to put the G-men on his back from week to week averaging over 20 fantasy points per game. The model is all over QB Daniel Jones in this spot. His price tag has dropped, but the upside is there for potential rushing yards.

Jaguars

Christian Kirk has been quiet in the past few weeks but gets a nice matchup if he can line up on the inside. The veteran and number-one option for Trevor Lawrence could easily outmaneuver Giants’ slot corner Adoree’ Jackson and get his rocks off this weekend.

Cash: S. Barkley, C. Kirk

GPP: Giants DST, D. Jones

Packers @ Commanders (+4.5) (O/U 41.5)

Packers

Green Bay is desperate for a win after losing two straight as heavy favorites. In order to get back in the win column, Rodgers will need to throw it into that gross Commanders’ secondary. Allen Lazard has hooked up with the future Hall of Famer 4 times in the endzone already and may add more touchdowns in D.C. if they can focus on their weakness at secondary (26th in DVOA).

Commanders

With Carson Wentz out for 4-6 weeks, Taylor Heinicke will be back under center again for Washington. He’s got experience as a starter since 2020 but facing a Packer team hungry for a win could spell trouble for him against a top defense in the league. Head Coach Ron Rivera has made it loud and clear to get rookie Bryan Robinson plenty of touches, and the Packers are a team that is best to run on (Breece Hall last week) who are (21st in DVOA).

Cash: A. Lazard, Packers DST

GPP: A. Rodgers, B. Robinson

Lions @ Cowboys (-7) (O/U 49)

Lions

Detroit returning from a bye week will hopefully keep the fantasy output consistent in Dallas. Stud receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has been practicing after twisting an ankle and looks to be on pace to play Sunday, but running back D’Andre Swift is still a no-show this week. No sweat, Jamaal Williams (16 FPTS./Game) has filled in perfectly and will still be force-fed the rock if Swift can’t suit up. Goff as always will be chasing a lead, but with the pressure from this Dallas front line and the constant blitzing of Micah Parsons, we should stay clear.

Cowboys

Welcome back Dak! Finally, since Week One we may see some more of the offense in Dallas. Backup Cooper Rush did manage his way to a 4-1 record and could’ve been giving Prescott goosebumps about losing his job. He’ll look to solidify himself again on Sunday against the most generous of opponents (30th in DVOA). Of course, Lamb and Zeke are good too this week, slide them right in your lineups.

Cash: D. Prescott, E, Elliot, C. Lamb, A. St. Brown, J. Williams

GPP:

Falcons @ Bengals (-6.5) (O/U 47)

Falcons

Atlanta even with its shaky defense still puts up a good fight and has brought most of its games down to the final snap. But when they have the ball, the Falcons revolve around their first-round pick Drake London. Though he’s tapered off a little in receptions, he should see some Eli Apple who has been picked on by plenty of the elite receivers around the league. Mariota has been efficient as of late, rushing for 111 yards in his last two games with a rushing touchdown. If he can keep it up this week he should have a great ROI of 3X.

Bengals

Burrow and Chase smashed last weekend in their return back home to where they started out in Louisiana combining for a total of 70 FPTS against the Saints. They can have a repeat performance with another nice matchup on paper at home, Atlanta we know has been a stomping ground for quarterbacks and receivers this year. Running back Joe Mixon has also been in the mix of the offense putting up double-digit fantasy points on a weekly basis, if the game script stays positive, Mixon will feast.

Cash: J. Burrow, J. Chase, J. Mixon, D. London

GPP: M. Mariota, Falcons DST

Bucs @ Panthers (+11) (O/U 40)

Bucs

The GOAT was back in the news this week squashing rumors of him retiring mid-season. The 45-year-old Brady may have to hang up his cleats if he can’t drop the hammer on Carolina, who just dealt their number one offensive threat, Christian McCaffrey, to the Niners. All the key weapons are in play for Tampa against a Panther team clearly headed to the top of the draft order. We all know Brady and what he does best, winning and proving the haters wrong. Expect a big game, in Brady’s 4 career games against Carolina the Bucs have scored 30 plus points.

Panthers

Only a few days after dealing wide receiver Robbie Anderson, out goes their best player in McCaffrey to San Fransisco for a cluster of draft picks. It’s obvious now there is a huge void in the Panther offense which leaves the last man standing as DJ Moore. I’m only interested in any opposing defenses at this point in the season for Carolina, and this week is the Bucs. But if you’re feeling lucky take a shot on Moore, as the interim Carolina head coach Steve Wilks came out publicly stating that the team will be built around him moving forward.

Cash: T. Brady, M. Evans, C. Godwin, L. Fournette, Bucs DST

GPP: D. Moore

Browns @ Ravens (-6.5) (O/U 45.5)

Browns

Cleveland may be behind the eightball here in this division game on the road. Lamar may be letting out some of his frustration on the Browns’ beatable run defense (29th in DVOA). The same can be said of Baltimore’s secondary who has given up one big play to another this year. Donovan Peoples-Jones is the guy to get that deep shot. Kareem Hunt’s pass-catching services could also be needed if the Browns play hurry-up if they do fall behind a wide margin.

Ravens

After lighting it up to begin the season, Jackson has fallen back down to earth scoring less than 20 FPTS in his last 4 games. Well, the dog pound is in town and Jackson could very possibly get himself out of the dog house of his fantasy managers on Sunday. Cleveland allows almost 28 points per game, and Mark Andrews (34 Receptions on 50 Targets) would benefit across the field from Lamar so long as he can suit up and log a practice before Sunday.

Cash: L. Jackson, M. Andrews

GPP: D. Peoples-Jones, K. Hunt

Colts @ Titans (-2.5) (O/U 42.5)

Colts

Matt Ryan off a 389-yard/3 TD game gets another crack at duplicating his performance against the Titans who have the second-worst receiver coverage in the league. It’s hard to trust Ryan to replicate that even with the juicy matchup, but his receivers we can. Pittman has been his go-to alpha and rookie Alec Pierce has built chemistry with the veteran racking up double-digit fantasy points for three straight games.

Titans

The Titans continue to ride the Derrick Henry train on offense, lately having plenty of success. So long as the game is within reach, Henry will keep getting fed the ball and is really the only reliable fantasy asset in Tennessee.

Cash: M. Pittman, D. Henry

GPP: M. Ryan, A. Pierce

Jets @ Broncos (-1) (O/U 38)

Jets

The other over-achieving New York team is at Mile High on Sunday Afternoon. Instead of winning without receivers like the Giants, they win without a quarterback (Zach Wilson). Head Coach Robert Saleh has the Jets literally running on all cylinders behind Breece Hall and Michael Carter. They could very well do some damage in Denver, but not as much as Russell Wilson thus far. New York’s defense has been the highest scoring for fantasy over the past 3 weeks, and to get a crack at one of the most overrated quarterbacks would be a dream come true on Sunday.

Broncos

Where do I begin…Do we really want anything to do with Denver besides the kicker McManus and the defense? Everybody, until we see some better play calling from coach Hackett and decision-making from Russell Wilson… the kitchen is closed. I realize they have the Jets, so we can use that Bronco D and watch them go to work on Zach Wilson.

Update: Russell Wilson Out, Brett Rypien to start at QB

Cash: B. Hall, Broncos DST

GPP: Jets DST

Texans @ Raiders (-7) (O/U 45.5)

Texans

Coach Lovey Smith will continue to ride the hot hand with rookie running back Dameon Pierce. Rushing a solid 5.7 yards per carry, Pierce plows through defensive lines and keeps the pressure off quarterback Davis Mills. The Texan running game has opened doors for its young receivers, like Nico Collins. A mear ($4,100 DraftKings/$5,600 FanDuel) could get you double-digit fantasy points which he’s had for his last two starts.

Raiders

Tight end Darren Waller will sit out coming off a bye week, and Hunter Renfrow and Mack Hollins are questionable going into the weekend. This news just gets us even more excited for the amount of volume for Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs, who will be a knockout one-two punch to the exploitable Houston defense (32nd in DVOA in rushing) (Adams gets coverage from rookie Derrick Stingley Jr.).

Cash: D. Adams, J. Jacobs

GPP: D. Pierce, N. Collins, M. Hollins

Chiefs @ Niners (+2.5) (O/U 48.5)

Chiefs

Don’t let that little red OPR Rank number scare you away from drafting any Chiefs this Sunday. San Fran is still burdened by injuries to their defensive starters. Even if they were all 100 percent, who cares it’s Kansas City, and Mahomes will throw it 50 times if he has to. The Niners are in fact tough on opposing running backs, so beware of CEH. Kelce needs no explanation, he’s a lock. It’s finding which Chief receiver will go off each week. The Model is loving some MVS…when in doubt check the analytics.

Niners

San Fransisco pushed their chips all in this week trading for Christian McCaffrey on Thursday. This move puts them in conversations for the Super Bowl by acquiring the caliber of player in McCaffrey. He will suit up Sunday against the Chiefs as of now, but we may not want to buy in too soon at his current price tag unknowingly his role yet. Jimmy G and Deebo I would bet are the safest pieces here, maybe Kittle too (if the Chiefs line up in a lot of Cover 4, that would open up the middle of the field).

Cash: P. Mahomes, T. Kelce, D. Samuel

GPP: J. Garoppolo, G. Kittle

Seahawks @ Chargers (-6) (O/U 51)

Seahawks

Geno and the crew are perceived to be in another shoot-out with a high-point total and a 6-point dog. He unexpectedly stunk it up on us last week with a 14-point downer, but in another negative game script, he will have to keep up the pace, peppering his favorite receiver DK Metcalf (50 targets, leads the team). Kenneth Walker was excellent against Arizona (110 total yards/1 TD) and will continue to get better, LA is a disgusting third worst defending the run.

Chargers

Gunslinger quarterback Justin Herbert may get his main man Keenan Allen back and boy did he miss him. Herbert has not hit the 20 fantasy point mark since Week 4 and was held to no touchdown passes last week. Allen is a true game-time decision but is “hoping” to play. Kennan in the rotation spreads out the middle of the field opposite Mike Williams and creates havoc for opposing defenses across the middle. Thankfully Austin Ekeler has been on fire and picking up the slack and keeping the Chargers’ head above water. He also will draw the 26th-ranked fantasy run defense, so get him in if you can, especially if Allen can’t play.

Cash: J. Herbert, K. Allen (if he plays), A. Ekeler, K. Walker III, M. Williams

GPP: G. Smith, D. Metcalf

Cash Core 4

J. Herbert/J. Jacobs/D. Samuel/T. Kelce

GPP Core 4

The byes have arrived! Only 11 games on the Main Slate for Sunday…and one of our favorite teams to pick on is home on the couch, the Lions. Not only are we short on teams this week, but we are short on players! The injuries have already skyrocketed and we are not even halfway through the season. There are still a few bangers out there this week so don’t sweat it. One of them is a rematch of last season’s AFC Divisional Round, probably the best pound-for-pound playoff game in our generation…Bills/Chiefs. We definitely will want pieces of this game in our lineups (O/U 54), and our projection models will help us find the FFVPs. Remember we’re all in here to help, our team is here 24/7 in our discord chat, tag me @JDiCarlo78#5965 for any questions about your lineup builds. Let’s do this breakdown of Week 6!

Sunday Main Slate 10/16/22

Jets @ Packers (-7) (O/U 45.5)

Jets

New York will want to ride the wave of their one-two punch of running backs Breece Hall and Michael Carter in Green Bay. The duo combined for a total of 230 yards from scrimmage and 3 touchdowns at home against Miami. As Zach Wilson is still getting familiar with his offense, look for New York to lean again on the run against a Packer run defense who have given up double-digit fantasy points to the position all season.

Packers

Aaron Rodgers must be pretty sour after flying over the pond to take an “L” from the Giants, especially after trying to be the hero at the end and failing on 4th down. He didn’t make the QB write-up this week but certainly can get there against this green Jets’ secondary on the road (6 PaTDs to elite QBs in 2 games). Rodgers plays his best football at home and with a chip on his shoulder, and he’s too cheap to pass on this week ($6,100 DraftKings/$7,500 FanDuel).

Cash: A. Rodgers

GPP: B. Hall, M. Carter

Bucs @ Steelers (+8.5) (O/U 43.5)

Bucs

After that beating Buffalo put on the Steelers last week you have to want to own Brady in this slate. Pittsburgh’s 30th DVOA to quarterbacks does not get any better for the GOAT this week and it gets even better. The Steelers will be without 3 of their starting corners and Minkah Fitzpatrick. Start your Bucs this weekend in the steel city. One more thing, rookie quarterbacks have a hard time keeping the football. Tampa’s defense is still one of the most intense in football and could rattle Pickett’s cage on Sunday.

Steelers

Young Kenny Pickett hopefully will rest his arm before Sunday, he may have to throw 50 times. Najee Harris and the run game have been struggling this season due to its poor offensive line. Then there’s George Pickens…sign me up. He’s been Kenny’s go-to guy since he day one racking up 12 catches on 16 targets for 185 yards. Take a flyer on Georgie for a GPP, even more, ballsy to pair with his quarterback. If he can curb the interceptions, Pickett may be a fantasy viable with super low ownership.

Update: P . Freiermuth is out! TE special: Z. Gentry ($2,600 DraftKings/$4,600 FanDuel)

Cash: T. Brady, M. Evans, L. Fournette, Tampa DST

GPP: G. Pickens, K. Pickett

Ravens @ Giants (+5) (O/U 45)

Ravens

Lamar has been best known for using his legs at quarterback, and he will get plenty of work out of them against a New York team that gets trampled in the running game. Baltimore also has Dobbins back one game removed from his Achilles injury of last season and has room to eat here as well. Tight end Mark Andrews is an auto-start, and if wide-out Rashod Bateman sits this one out again, Devin Duvernay can be a nice value.

Giants

The Giants have been skating by through the season on their tough defense and Saquon Barkley, putting up a 4-1 record. Quarterback Daniel Jones also has been using his feet since the receiving core has been a graveyard due to injury. Keep an eye out for the rookie Wandale Robinson, if he can get on the field at his salary ($3,600 DraftKings/$4,900 FanDuel) against the Ravens’ 30th-ranked opposing defense, he can see a ton of reps and blow it up on Sunday.

Cash: L. Jackson, M. Andrews

GPP: D. Duvernay (if Bateman is out), J.K. Dobbins, W. Robinson

Update: Bateman is out

Niners @ Falcons (+5.5) (O/U 44)

Niners

San Fran would’ve liked to sink their teeth into another offense in Atlanta, except 6 of their starters on defense did not make the flight to Atlanta. If you’re looking to pay up for a defense this week, the Niners are a trap this weekend, stay away! There is a bright side to this bit of info, Jimmy G may have to actually turn it up a notch if the Niners do let the game start to slip away. We all know how bad the Falcons D is across the board by now, so a stack with Deebo, Aiyuk, or Kittle may be very sneaky…

Falcons

The Niner defense will be super short-handed getting off the plane in Atlanta (6 starters out), and the Falcons have been in every game to the end. Offensively they are a little short-handed themselves (Coradarrelle Patterson on IR, Kyle Pitts questionable and a non-factor). This leaves the fate in the hands of two rookies, Drake London to catch and Tyler Allgeier to run the ball for the Falcons. Leaning more toward London in his current situation, as the clear front-runner for target volume.

Cash: D. Samuel, D. London

GPP: J. Garoppolo, T. Allgeier, G. Kittle, B. Aiyuk

Bengals @ Saints (+2) (O/U 43.5)

Bengals

Burrow and Chase will be back home in the bayou this weekend, and believe me there will be fireworks. Shutdown corner Marshon Lattimore has already been ruled out, putting Bradley Roby on an island with Chase…uh oh. Tee Higgins is still bothered by an ankle and Hayden Hurst popped up with a groin injury late in the week, so pay attention to the reports. if they’re out we want a piece of Tyler Boyd. It will be a homecoming for Burrow and Chase in N’Orleans this Sunday, the writing is on the wall here folks.

Saints

On top of all the injuries on defense for the Saints, the offense is in pieces too. No Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry again, so it will be the Chris Olave show part two. If he can clear concussion protocols, Olave will be in line for a huge workload with quarterback Andy Dalton, who is filling in again for beat-up Jameis Winston. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to start the Cincinnati defense up in this spot too because of all the missing weaponry at receiver and quarterback. I know Kamara is there I know, but Cincinnati is 3rd in rushing DVOA so we really can’t focus on him this week.

Cash: J. Burrow, J. Chase, C. Olave (if he is cleared)

GPP: T. Boyd (if Higgins is out), Cincinnatti DST

Vikings @ Dolphins (+3) (O/U 45)

Vikings

Justin Jefferson is automatic here, you don’t need us to tell you that. And Cousins to get him the ball has an excellent mid-range salary that may interest some of us. If you could catch the Jets highlights run all over Miami last week, then you know where I’m headed. Dalvin Cook may steal the show and own the backfield since Alexander Mattison fell on the injury report. Facing a third-string quarterback in Miami, Cook may get extra carries to eat up the clock on a big lead in the second half.

Dolphins

No Tua again this week, 7th round rookie Skylar Thompson gets the start… but will he finish? He could be pulled after one or two series depending on his output. Coach McDaniel may have the option of putting in Teddy B if he is cleared for contact, to replace the rookie if he stinks it up. The water is just too muddy to pick up anybody in Miami this week because of the quarterback situation.

Cash: J. Jefferson, K. Cousins, D. Cook

GPP: None

Patriots @ Browns (-3) (O/U 42.5)

Patriots

The Pats will want to run the ball while their quarterback heals up from a high ankle sprain. Looks like Damien Harris may sit out another game and if he does it’s Rhamondre time again. In Harris’ absence last week the sophomore back averaged over 6 yards per carry (161 RuYDS). The Browns rank at the very bottom (32nd in DVOA) in run defense, a running back’s wet dream. Damien Harris sits, and Stevenson is a full go.

Browns

Now Cleveland can’t stop the run, but they can run right back at you with ease. With one of the best run-blocking O-lines in the league, opposing teams know he’s coming, but have not yet figured out how to stop him. The leading rusher in the NFL (593 RuYDS), Nick Chubb, exploded this year. Even while splitting the backfield with Kareem Hunt, Chubb is a bad man who at any point of the game can break off into the open field for 6.

Cash: R. Stevenson (if Harris is out), N. Chubb

GPP: None

Jaguars @ Colts (-2.5) (O/U 42)

Jaguars

All aboard… teams playing the Colts, start-up that D. The Jags have owned Indy for quite some time, and shut them out in their first meeting this season. We love Christian Kirk this season, but he came up short last week against Houston. Supposedly was a pretty nasty and wet day, even James Robinson took a step back last week. Kirk should be back on track this week and with no Shaq Leonard, Lawrence can get the ball to his number-one target.

Colts

Indy has become a one-dimensional team due to running back Jonathon Taylor’s time off the field. Their O-line is banged up, and little Matty Ice has been taking a pounding. If he can get the ball out quick enough, maybe he can hook up again with rookie Alec Pierce. In the win at Denver, he saw 9 targets, catching 8 for 81 yards. Thanks to all the pressure focused on stud teammate Michael Pittman Jr., Pierce will continue to feed off the weaker coverage.

Update: J. Taylor and N. Hines are out! Deon Jackson ($5,200DraftKings/$5,600 FanDuel) next man up (15FPTS in week 5)

Cash: C. Kirk, Jags DST

GPP: A. Pierce

Panthers @ Rams (-10.5) (O/U 40.5)

Panthers

Vince McMahon’s XFL superstar PJ Walker gets the start on the road, maybe he can provide some kind of spark for Carolina. The Matt Rhule era has finally come to an end, can the Panthers defeat the reigning Super Bowl champs on the road? We could care less, yeah McCaffrey should still be fine but let’s wait and see what happens in Carolina. Fade’em. Start that Rams’ D instead.

Rams

No need to mention the elephant in the room, Kupp is awesome, yes get him in. The real breaking news is Cam Akers is getting some personal time off this week, here we go…now we’re talkin’! Darrell Henderson’s time in the driver’s seat without Akers in the back seat, lock it up for a discount RB 2. But don’t forget about Stafford here either. His stock has fallen significantly from hitting a brick wall, mainly because of a few tough matchups. If he can keep from turning the ball over, which he should against Carolina, he’s could be a GPP hero.

Cash: D. Henderson, C. Kupp, Rams DST

GPP: M. Stafford

Cardinals @ Seahawks (+2.5) (O/U 51)

Cardinals

Kyler throwing into the horrific secondary of Seattle is sweet DFS music to my ears. The Cardinals need more wins under their belt, so Murray will lead the way. This will also be the last week before D Hop gets off suspension, so let’s enjoy Marquise Brown one more time before he gets fed less. But wait a sec, we have a free bee this week at running back, his name is Eno Benjamin. James Connor and backup Darrel Williams are both out, so Eno will own the backfield against one of the worst run defenses (30th in DVOA) in football.

Seahawks

Geno has made a name for himself again in the NFL, being the most accurate in the league (75% completion rating). He’s no slouch, and not afraid to sling it all over the field making D K Metcalf and Tyler Lockett both fantasyfriendly. On a sad note, the Seahawks lost running back Rashaad Penny for the year to a broken bone. Rookie top prospect Kenneth Walker III will take over as the lead back and will be a huge saving for your salary cap.

Cash: K. Murray, G. Smith, T. Lockett, D. Metcalf, E. Smith, M. Brown

GPP: K. Walker III

Bills @ Chiefs (+2.5) (O/U 54)

Bills

What’s better than a rematch of last year’s AFC Divisional series? Nothing. Allen, we all know who he is by now, set him at QB and forget it. Pretty much every starter is in play for the Bills, even more so now the news broke that Kansas City will be down two starting corners, and will be replaced with rookies. I can hear the tables breaking in Buffalo now by the Mafia. Diggs, Davis, and McKenzie sound good ya think? Singletary is in play too, the Chiefs play way too much zone allowing a bunch of points to opposing backs.

Chiefs

Now if the Bills do come out guns blazing and take a lead, Mahomes and Kelce will not go down without a fight. Buffalo’s defense is a little better than last year, adding Von Miller and other pieces, so Mahomes may need to flee the pocket more often this time around. The Bills are still banged up in the secondary and safety, giving Mahomes and his receivers a little more breathing room. We never know really where Andy Reid is headed in each game, except Kelce who is the cornerstone of the offense. Picking one of these KC receivers is like a game of darts though, try one or two in a GPP.

Cash: P. Mahomes, T. Kelce

GPP: M. Hardman, J. Smith-Schuster, M. Valdes-Scantling

Cash Core 4

J. Allen/E. Benjamin/C. Kupp/T. Kelce

What a season so far, one month’s worth of NFL here and gone! Injuries are piling up left and right, and Week 5 ‘s slate has not one game with a 50-point total so far. Sunday Main Slate 10/9/22

Steelers @ Bills (-14) (O/U 47)

Steelers

Kenny Pickett will get the full start against one of the top-ranked defenses in Buffalo, not the ideal landing spot for the rookie. He did provide a spark into the Steeler offense and displayed a bromance with fellow rookie George Pickens catching 6 balls for 102 yards against the Jets. But I’m fading Pittsburgh this weekend with their rookie quarterback on the road, the Bills’ D deserves the respect.

Bills

The Steelers will still be without T J Watt this weekend, so it’s safe to assume Josh Allen will have not as much pressure to work the Bills’ offense. I just can’t see using too many other Buffalo players in this game as they are 2 touchdown favorites. Let’s keep it simple here and use Allen with the Bills’ DST in this heavily lopsided matchup.

Cash: J. Allen, Bills DST

GPP: None

Falcons @ Bucs (-9) (O/U 48)

Falcons

The wheels are beginning to fall off for Falcons’ quarterback Marcus Mariota, especially after what we saw last week (7 for 19/139YDS/1 INT/1 FUM) so we won’t touch him. The big news in Atlanta is Patterson landing on IR forcing the rookie Tyler Allgeier to take over the backfield, who averaged 8 yards per carry and caught a 20-yard pass last week. Kyle Pitts Won’t make the trip to Tampa due to injury, so Drake London will be a target funnel for Mariota this Sunday.

Bucs

In a losing effort, Brady put up a monster (39-52/385 YD/3 TD) at home against Kansas City, and now that the divorce news broke with the supermodel wife, we may get a pissed-off Tom Brady chucking it all over the Falcons’ weak secondary. His arsenal is at full strength with Evans, Godwin, and Fournette making Brady a solid play. Tampa coming off that tough Sunday night loss will get their redemption in Week 5.

Cash: T. Brady, M. Evans, L. Fournette, C. Godwin

GPP: D. London, T. Allgeier

Dolphins @ Jets (+3) (O/U 44)

Dolphins

The nine-year vet TeddyTwo Gloves” will fill in for the concussed Tagovailoa and should be able to slide right in at quarterback. He’ll have two of the fastest receivers in the NFL at his disposal and a playbook from head coach Mike McDaniel on how to use them. The experience Bridgewater brings to the field may be an upgrade to the offense, against a cushy Jets defense that has allowed over 25 points per game. Give me a Dolphin stack this Sunday in GPP, but Hill and Waddle are safe for cash games.

Jets

If you’re looking for a safe play in New York, tight-end Tyler Conklin has been the most reliable of all Jet pass catchers. Flacco leaned heavily on him in the first three games and Zach Wilson fed him 3 receptions for 54 yards. He’s always hovering below $4K on DraftKings, take advantage of his low salary before the sites catch up with his production.

Cash: T. Hill, J. Waddle

GPP: T. Bridgewater, T. Conklin

Bears @ Vikings (-7) (O/U 44)

Bears

Run Chicago…run the ball. Even if you’re down two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, just feed it to Khalil Herbert. We can’t trust this offense regardless of the matchup for the Bears. Herbert was a solid play last week but David Montgomery may be back this week and opposing defenses are beginning to sniff them out, blitzing and daring Fields to throw. Until we see some improvement in the offense let’s stay away from Chicago.

Vikings

Chicago really slows down the pace of their games and Vegas lets us know with a total of 44. So we should really not look to use much salary cap here in this game whatsoever, Justin Jefferson will eat here for sure but he may not reach value because of game flow. If you do want a piece of action from Minnesota, tight-end Irv Smith is affordable ($3,200 DraftKings/$4,700 FanDuel) and should see the least amount of coverage by the Bears’ defense. The Minnesota DST also interests me because Chicago struggles to put points on the board, but they’re not cheap. If you have the cap space great, if not, don’t go out of your way.

Cash: Minnesota DST, Justin Jefferson

GPP: I. Smith

Chargers @ Browns (+3) (O/U 47.5)

Chargers

It was only Week 2 when Joe Flacco lit up this suspect Cleveland secondary with the likes of Garret Wilson and Corey Davis for (307PaYD/4 TDs) Justin Herbert is fully capable of crushing here too and on Draftkings he’s a steal at ($7,100). Mike Williams pops off but can also end up on a milk carton sometimes, so keep an eye out for Keenan Allen’s status. If he is out another game, tight end Gerald Everett has been the beneficiary.

Browns

Cleveland will continue to ride their stud Nick Chubb and pound the rock into LA’s 30th DVOA run defense. If it hasn’t broken, don’t fix it. Nobody has yet to contain Cleveland’s run-heavy offense so why wouldn’t we see more of the Chubb/Hunt show this weekend? But Cleveland will still need to throw, and tight end Njoku owns the snap-share in Cleveland (92%). Amari Cooper has also solidified himself as the alpha dog at receiver, both are mid-range in salary and viable in your lineups.

Cash: J. Herbert, M. Williams

GPP: G. Everett, D. Njoku, N. Chubb, A. Cooper

Texans @ Jaguars (-7) (O/U 44.5)

Texans

The rookie bell cow Dameon Pierce has looked incredible these past two games rushing for 211 total yards and 2 touchdowns. The Jags are coming off a loss in Phila and were gashed by Miles Sanders’ (134-yard/2 touchdown) showing. Give me Pierce in this spot, Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins here too. When two teams with bad defenses collide, the football moves on both sides of the field.

Jaguars

Jacksonville will need a little pick-me-up after that ass-whopping they took in Phila, Lawrence had a little deja-vu of 2021 Trevor turning the ball over. But the weather was wet and slippery, He’ll shake it off at home against Houston in a bounce-back game. Kirk his go-to guy will be in the mix and Robinson should also get plenty of work on the worst-ranked run defense in the league.

Cash: D. Pierce, B. Cooks, J. Robinson, C. Kirk

GPP: N. Collins, T. Lawrence

Lions @ Patriots (-3) (O/U 46.5)

Lions

Beware of this game guys. Jared Goff on the road, outdoors, facing a Bill Belichick defense throws up too many red flags. No word yet on Amon-Ra St. Brown’s ankle and D’Andre Swift looks to be shelved until after Detroit’s bye week. Jamaal Williams and Hockenson looked awesome last week but that was Seattle at home and the Patriot defense can still show up here. Salaries are up on everybody too, so I’m going to play it safe, but if there was a Lion to use if Amon is out, pick up the Hock.

Patriots

Both Patriot running backs are in play fellas, the 31st in DVOA against the run Lions are in town and New England may be starting third-string quarterback Bailey Zappe. Harris and Stevenson should see plenty of volume in the backfield, but we can lean more toward Rhamondre for pass-catching opportunities.

Cash: D. Harris, R. Stevenson, T J Hockenson (A. St. Brown out)

GPP: None

Titans @ Commanders (+2.5) (O/U 42.5)

Titans

Derrick Henry has a heartbeat again in fantasy football. Over the last two games, he has averaged close to 5 yards per carry and a touchdown. Tennessee will continue to make him the focal point of the offense. But I’m more interested in Robert Woods for this game. Treylon Burks is out this weekend so St.-Juste will line up across from either Woods or Kyle Phillips who can easily burn him for chunks of yardage out of the slot.

Commanders

This Sunday Carson Wentz can break out of his slump when the second-worst secondary in the league comes into town. The Titans’ Kristian Fulton is A turnstile for receiver fantasy points so get McLaurin and Samuel in your lineups this weekend.

Cash: R. Woods, T. McLaurin

GPP: C. Wentz, C. Samuel, K. Phillips

Seahawks @ Saints (-5.5) (O/U 46)

Seahawks

Geno Smith and the Seahawks really came through for us last week in DFS, but we can’t go down that road again facing this tough New Orleans defense. D K Metcalf should see a ton of Lattimore and if the Seahawks will be playing catch-up, Lockett may benefit from the opposite side with some shaky Bradley Roby coverage.

Saints

So we have a couple of Interesting plays for the Saints. Running back Alvin Kamara says he’s going to play on Sunday, but can we trust him to produce at his high-mid-range salary? I think he’s usable and very sneaky for GPP, we have seen him score six touchdowns in one game! The safe guy here is Chris Olave. Michael Thomas just can’t stay healthy and Jarvis Landry still has an ankle issue. The rookie Olave has scored double-digit fantasy points in three of four contests this season.

Update: J. Winston and M. Thomas are Out

Cash: C. Olave

GPP: A. Kamara, T. Lockett

Niners @ Panthers (+6.5) (O/U 38.5)

Niners

After what we witnessed on Monday night against the defending champs, San Fran has the defense to beat in the NFC. Sack after sack, the safety Hufonga pick-six, I’m sold. I know the Rams’ O-line is a mess, but no question the Niners are a legitimate contender. I can see the highlights now of Baker getting smashed in the mouth. Very low total here fellas, so let’s start that D if you have the space, and a stack with Jeff Wilson Jr. would not be a bad idea too.

Panthers

See above, we can’t risk any spots in our cash game/GPP lineups on this Baker-Mayfield-led trainwreck of an offense, especially against the Niners. Even though McCaffrey has been solid over the course of the season, it’s best to stay away from all the pieces of Carolina, mainly because we can’t trust Baker or the coaching staff.

Cash: Niners DST, Jeff Wilson Jr.

GPP: None

Eagles @ Cardinals (+5.5) (O/U 49)

Eagles

Jalen Hurts needs no intro these days, his numbers speak for themselves. 27 fantasy points in three of four games. He’s in a position to smash again in Arizona, who have bled value to opposing quarterbacks (Week 1, 360 PaYd/5 PaTD – P. Mahomes) in previous QB1 matchups. The Cards continue to neglect opposing tight ends (31st in DVOA), give me one of the most trustworthy ones in football this week – Dallas Goedert

Cardinals

Philly’s defense has been devastating this season (4th in DVOA to quarterbacks), which makes Murray a no-brainer to fade. Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch, and Rondale Moore are all less than 100% healthy which makes tight end Zach Ertz the most dependable target for Murray this Sunday. The icing on the cake for Ertz is the revenge game he’s got going on against the team who let him go last season after helping them win Super Bowl LII.

Cash: J. Hurts, D. Goedert

GPP: Z. Ertz

Cowboys @ Rams (-4.5) (O/U 43)

Cowboys

LA’s Jalen Ramsey is no longer a threat from what we’ve seen this season. The Rams are dead last in DVOA to opposing receivers giving us the green light to drop Lamb in our lineups. But Dallas can also get to the quarterback already logging 15 sacks in 4 games. On DraftKings, they are slightly above the minimum salary ($2,500) and a huge cap saver against a My Pillow offensive line in LA.

Rams

Kupp or Higbee for the Rams… that’s the offense. LA’s O-line deficiencies have cost them their running game. LA has been a riches-to-rags story this year and until Shawn McVey can figure out what to do it’s best we stay clear from everyone else besides Kupp and Higbee.

Cash: C. Kupp, T. Higbee, Cowboys DST

GPP: C. Lamb

Cash Core 4

J. Allen/L. Fournette/C. Kupp/D. Goedert

GPP Core 4

T. Bridgewater/J. Robinson/J. Waddle/Z. Ertz

Stacks

T. Brady/C. Godwin/M. Evans J. Hurts/D. Hurts T. Bridgewater/T. Hill/J. Waddle J. Herbert/M. Williams

J. Wilson/Niners DST
