Saturday 12/19 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

It’s time to kick off EPL Matchweek 14/38 with a three game Saturday slate!

We begin with Manchester City (-215) traveling to Southampton (+575). City has been playing phenomenal defense, as of late. However, it has come at the expense of their offense, which has been lacking that final touch.

This will certainly be no easy game for City against a Southampton team that is getting the most out of their abilities. Therefore, after some soft matchups, I am not as high on them today.

Afterwards, Arsenal (+210) heads to Goodison Park to take on a streaking Everton (+130) side. Arsenal has been struggling and have to hope that Pierre-Emerick Aubemeyang’s goal last game will be the first of many.

Meanwhile, Everton comes into this game off the back of consecutive wins against Chelsea and Leicester City. Nevertheless, James Rodriguez will remain out for Everton.

Finally, we close with a pair of bottom feeders as Fulham (+180) visits Newcastle (+155). It might not be pretty. However, this isn’t the worse source of some cheap value where needed.

As a result, I don’t mind grabbing an Aleksander Mitrovic or Callum Wilson to fill out my lineup. Be sure to not to roster them against the opposing goalie, given their goal or nothing nature.

Notable Goal Scoring Odds

Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold.

Manchester City at Southampton – Sergio Aguero (-115), Gabriel Jesus (+128), Raheem Sterling (+145), Kevin De Bruyne (+155), Riyad Mahrez (+175), Ferran Torres (+188), Danny Ings (+188), Phil Foden (+205), Bernardo Silva (+280), Che Adams (+335)

Arsenal at EvertonDominic Calvert-Lewin (+123), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (+185), Cenk Tosun (+195), Alexandre Lacazette (+220), Richarlison (+225), Eddie Nkietah (+260)

Fulham at NewcastleCallum Wilson (+133), Aleksander Mitrovic (+143), Dwight Gayle (+225), Andy Carroll (+275), Aboubakar Kamara (+275), Ademola Lookman (+320), Ivan Cavaleiro (+320), Joelinton (+340)

The Betting Game Plan

This will be a tough test for Manchester City but it is a game they need to win, in order to remain in the title race. As for Everton, I think that their good form continues. Therefore, we might as well roll the two team parlay.

Thursday 12/17 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

Well, we’re almost finished with EPL Matchweek 13/38, but we still have two games left.

Lowly Burnley (+375) will be travelling to Villa Park, where Aston Villa is a -137 home favorite. Both Jack Grealish and Ollie Watkins should both be fairly popular here. However, given that it is a two game slate, I don’t mind a little Nick Pope or Chris Wood “DraftKings price preferred”. After all, you’re either first or last.

Afterwards, Manchester United (-225) will look to get right against another bottom feeder in Sheffield United (+600).

Edinson Cavani has been ruled out, making the Manchester United lineup somewhat predictable assuming that Paul Pogba gets to rest up after consecutive starts. Bruno Fernandes will likely surpass Jack Grealish in ownership to be the highest owned player on the slate on both sites.

This article focuses on 12/15 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Tuesday 12/15 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

We are all the way up to EPL Matchweek 13/38, our first mid week slate of the season.

This slate only has two games, with a 1:00pm ET start time on both sites.

Coming off a disappointing loss this weekend, Chelsea (-143) will be looking to rebound against Wolves (+420). Wolverhampton’s star striker Raul Jimenez unfortunately suffered a recent skull fracture and remains out.

The loss of Jimenez’s presence should make Wolves formation even more defensively oriented than it already has been so far this season. When you combine Chelsea’s strong defense and goaltending, I expect this one to be lower scoring. The tiny 2.4 expected goal total is not surprising.

Following Chelsea at Wolves, we have what the British might call a laugher. Manchester City (-1250) comes in a ridiculously heavy favorite and it is just a matter of who is in the lineup. Particularly given the fact that this is the late game, and Man City tends to have some of the world’s most unpredictable lineups.

Regardless, I will be looking to get as much Man City exposure as possible in this spot. West Brom has absolutely no speed on defense and should get exploited. Given that both Ferran Torres and Phil Foden rested last game, as well as their relative youth, and I would expect to see them back in the starting eleven.

Notable Goal Scoring Odds

Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold.

Saturday 12/12 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

We are now up to EPL Matchweek 12/38, as get ready for another Saturday morning slate.

This slate can be found with all three games and a 10:00am ET start time on both sites.

We start with the worst game of the three, as West Brom (+195) will be traveling to Newcastle (+148). Perhaps it is a good opportunity to grab some extra sleep!

Matheus Pereira is out, so we might get Matt Phillips West Brom set pieces on DraftKings for $3,400. Of course, defenders and goalies are certainly in play here. If Phillips is not in, then set pieces will likely go to Conor Gallagher. In addition, be on the lookout for any cheap wing defenders when lineups come out here.

From there, the slate dramatically changes with the Manchester Derby. Manchester United (+340) heads across town to face Manchester City (-139). For a second consecutive week, a number of City starters had the opportunity to rest mid week in the Champion’s League.

Last season, Manchester United pulled off a pair of upsets to sweep the season series. This time around they will have to respond after a disappointing mid week elimination at the hands of RB Leipzig in the Champion’s League.

Afterwards, we have an intriguing late game hammer. Everton (+340) will host a surging Chelsea (-139) at Goodison Park. Unfortunately for the Toffees, James Rodriguez will be out.

Notable Goal Scoring Odds

Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold.

West Brom at NewcastleCallum Wilson (+138), Karlan Grant (+245), Charlie Austin (+270), Andy Caroll (+275), Callum Robinson (+295), Joelinton (+340)

Manchester United at Manchester City – Sergio Aguero (+108), Gabriel Jesus (+140), Raheem Sterling (+175), Kevin De Bruyne (+188), Riyad Mahrez (+210), Ferran Torres (+225), Phil Foden (+245), Edinson Cavani (+245), Bruno Fernandes (+255), Marcus Rashford (+295), Anthony Martial (+310), Mason Greenwood (+360)

The Betting Game Plan

This week, the best bet is a fairly straight forward two team parlay, featuring two of the EPL’s best teams. If looking to go a bit wilder, you can substitute Newcastle over Manchester City in the parlay. Either way, I’d keep Chelsea.

This article focuses on 12/8 UCL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Tuesday 12/8 UCL Slate and DFS Gameplan

It’s time to put an end to the Champion’s League Group Stages with the first half of Matchweek 6/6, beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Note: Projected starters are highlighted in bold. Goal odds of all potential starters are included, but if a player is not in the starting lineup, disregard his scoring odds.

PSG (-1000)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Kylian Mbappe (-245), Neymar (-195), Moise Kean (-137), Angel Di Maria (-104)

PSG finds themselves in a huge game, where they are heavily favored against lowly Istanbul Basaksehir. Collectively, they have the highest goal scoring odds on the slate, in a must win matchup. Their attackers should all be popular.

Chelsea (-345)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Timo Werner (-120), Tammy Abraham (-103), Olivier Giroud (-103), Christian Pulisic (+135), Kai Havertz (+180), Mason Mount (+280), Billy Gilmour (+390)

We will have to see how the lineup shakes out. I doubt that Olivier Giroud would get a third straight start at age 35. So chances are we see Tammy Abraham in the mix. With Hakim Ziyech’s injury, Mason Mount should have control of all the set pieces once again. Finally, young talent Billy Gilmour might be making his first start of the season. That is something to watch for if looking for a cheap flier, particularly on FanDuel for $7.

Dynamo Kyiv (-124)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Viktor Tsyhankov (+140), Vladyslav Supriaha (+160), Benjamin Verbic (+175), Gerson Rodrigues (+190), Clayton (+205), Franck Boli (+260)

Both teams in this game are absolutely terrible. However, the Hungarian team Ferenvcaros is even worse than Dynamo Kyiv. Thus, maybe this is a spot for some savings if you want to pick out a couple bodies from Dynamo to go stars and scrubs.

Manchester United (+200) at RB Leipzig (+120)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Alexander Sorloth (+175), Youssef Poulsen (+195), Bruno Fernandes (+195), Marcus Rashford (+225), Emil Forsberg (+275), Christopher Nkunku (+275), Dani Olmo (+275), Marcel Sabitzer (+275), Mason Greenwood (+280), Donny van de Beek (+450)

This is probably the best game of the day from a raw perspective. Both teams are dead even on nine points, so this is likely an elimination game. Manchester United will be without both Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial. They will need another huge Champion’s League game from Marcus Rashford and/or Bruno and Mason Greenwood, to help them move on. Meanwhile, Leipzig is favored here and their attackers are certainly in play, as well.

Juventus (+235) at Barcelona (+110)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Leo Messi (+118), Cristiano Ronaldo (+123), Antoine Greizmann (+180), Alvaro Morata (+195), Martin Braithwaite (+205), Federico Chiesa (+235), Paulo Dybala (+240), Phillipe Coutinho (+260), Federico Bernardeschi (+275), Trincao (+375), Pedri (+375)

Messi v. Ronaldo. Barcelona will win this group either way on goal difference, so this one is simply for pride. It might be the last time these two ever face each other again, based on how the future plays out. However, this game might not exactly be the high paced shootout that it would’ve been years ago.

Sevilla (+130) at Rennes (+220)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Lucas Ocampos (+215), M’Baye Niang (+215), Luuk de Jong (+235), Carlos Fernandez (+235), Youssef En-Nesyri (+245), Oussama Idrissi (+275), Oscar Rodriguez (+375), Franco Vazquez (+420)

Sevilla clinched a spot in the Round of Sixteen but cannot win their group. Therefore, they have nothing to play for here and it will be all backups. This is a stayaway spot for me unless it’s last man in.

Saturday 12/5 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

We are up to EPL Matchweek 11/38, as it kicks off with the usual Saturday morning slate.

This slate can be found with all three games and a 10:00am ET start time on both sites.

It all begins with Manchester City (-910) hosting Fulham (+1900) as a very heavy favorite. Thankfully, this game is first, as we wouldn’t want to have to wait on the Manchester City lineups after lock. Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez, and Gabriel Jesus rested midweek, making them the most likely attack options to start.

Afterwards, West Ham (+265) will be hosting Manchester United (+104). The Red Devils will be looking to rebound from a home loss to PSG mid-week in the Champion’s League.

Finally, Leeds United (+500) will be traveling to Chelsea (-195). The Blues have been rising up the EPL Table. However, Leeds United presents a legitimate challenge with their variety of weapons and unforgivingly open and offensive style of play. Chelsea, much like Manchester City, was able to rest a lot of starters mid-week in the Champion’s League, as backup striker Olivier Giroud stole the show.

Notable Goal Scoring Odds

Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below and projected starters are listed in bold.

Fulham at Manchester CityGabriel Jesus (-141), Raheem Sterling (-114), Kevin De Bruyne (+108), Riyad Mahrez (+108), Ferran Torres (+118), Phil Foden (+128), Bernardo Silva (+205)

Manchester United at West HamEdinson Cavani (+155), Bruno Fernandes (+163), Marcus Rashford (+190), Anthony Martial (+200), Mason Greenwood (+240), Sebastian Haller (+250), Jarrod Bowen (+300)

Leeds United at ChelseaTimo Werner (+105), Olivier Giroud (+110), Tammy Abraham (+130), Christian Pulisic (+160), Kai Havertz (+210), Hakim Ziyech (+210), Patrick Bamford (+235), Callum Hudson-Odoi (+290), Mason Mount (+320)

*Three Leg Parlay – Manchester City (-910) + Chelsea (-190) + Barcelona (-275) = (+131) total odds

The Betting Game Plan

Let’s roll with a cross league parlay. We can start with Manchester City unless you want to leave them off for lack of value. From there, I like the -190 that we’re currently provided on the Chelsea money line. With fans returning to Stamford Bridge, this in form team should get a boost.

Moving to La Liga, with Messi rested once again mid-week, Barcelona can fill out our parlay. Cadiz’s goal differential suggests that some regression is in store for them.

This article focuses on 12/1 UCL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Tuesday 12/1 UCL Slate and DFS Gameplan

It’s time for Matchweek 5/6 of the Champion’s League Group Stages with a six game slate beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.

A couple of teams already have their spots in the Round of Sixteen all locked up. However, at least this week, only Bayern Munich has actually clinched their group’s top spot. As a result, they are the only team with nothing to play for and should be resting starters.

Note: Projected starters are highlighted in bold. Goal odds of all potential starters are included, but if a player is not in the starting lineup, disregard his scoring odds.

Atalanta (-560)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Duvan Zapata (-177), Luis Muriel (-139), Joseph Illicic (-132), Alejandro Gomez (-108), Remo Freuler (+188)

Atalanta is the biggest favorite on the slate by quite a lot. Their attacking players will be cash game staples.

Alejandro Gomez and Duvan Zapata will likely be the chalkiest but be sure not to sleep on Joseph Illicic if in! If not, Luis Muriel has fairly high goal scoring odds as well.

Man City (-162)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Gabriel Jesus (+135), Raheem Sterling (+160), Kevin De Bruyne (+195), Riyad Mahrez (+205), Phil Foden (+220), Fernan Torres (+220), Bernardo Silva (+325)

We will just have to see how the lineup shakes out here. Phil Foden has had the hot hand and Torres has been slowly coming along. Riyad Mahrez is coming off a hat trick this weekend, but is not projected to start. Kevin De Bruyne remains a strong play, as always.

Liverpool (-148)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Mohammed Salah (-110), Sadio Mane (+118), Diego Jota (+125), Divock Origi (+185), Robert Firmino (+195), Dusan Tadic (+240)

Liverpool has been fairly disappointing over the last week. First, losing at home to Atalanta 2-0 in the Champion’s League and then a 1-1 tie over the weekend against Brighton. If Diego Jota is in, he would be my favorite play from this team as he is red hot and scoring all their goals. However, in terms of stacking, they are a fairly hard team to trust at the moment.

Atletico Madrid (-120)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Joao Felix (+160), Angelo Correa (+235), Yannick Carrasco (+285), Marcos Llorente (+360)

Atletico Madrid was probably the most disappointing of any team last week. They were as big as a -560 favorite as of game time against Lokomotiv Moscow, only to put up a scoreless draw.

They have a chance to bounce back here against a Bayern Munich squad likely resting players with nothing to play for. Luis Suarez and Diego Costa are not in the match squad, making the Atletico lineup a bit more predictable.

Inter Milan (+120) at Gladbach (+205)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Romelu Lukaku (+110), Lautaro Martinez (+150), Alexis Sanchez (+170), Marcus Thuram (+200), Alassane Plea (+200), Breel Embolo (+210), Ivan Perisic (+255), Lars Stindl (+260), Patrick Hermann (+275)

I had mentioned how Atletico Madrid was disappointing last week. As for Inter Milan, their game turned out to be a total disaster, as well. First, they allowed an early penalty and then Arturo Vidal got a red card for cursing out the referee, leading to a loss against Real Madrid.

They will have a tough game here against a resilient Gladbach team. The Germans will finally be returning forward Alassane Plea “pronounced like Play-a” and will be at full strength.

Olympiakos (+230) at Marseille (+130)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Dario Benedetto (+175), Florian Thauvin (+180), Dmitri Payet (+265)

This group continues to churn out some bad games. With this one, the trend continues, as outside goaltenders and cheap defenders, there is not a lot to target. It would be amazing if we had diminutive Olympiakos midfielder Mathieu Valbuena, who is all of a sudden half price on DraftKings at $5,400. Unfortunately, he is out injured.

Marseille has a shot at their first win of UCL, but Olympiakos plays slow, grinding defense. Their attackers are really cheap on DraftKings, if looking for a very contrarian large field flyer.

This article focuses on 11/29 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Sunday 11/29 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

EPL Matchweek 10/38 continues on with a Sunday slate.

This slate can be found with a 9:00am ET start time on both sites. However, the DraftKings slate will only include the first two games, whereas FanDuel will include all three.

In the early game, Southampton (+280) hosts Manchester United (+100). Afterwards, Tottenham (+255) travels to Chelsea (+107) for the marquee matchup of the day.

Finally, Wolves (+265) head to Arsenal (+114) for the game which can only be found on FanDuel.

Notable Goal Scoring Odds

Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them. All odds listed +300 or below.

Manchester United at Southampton – Bruno Fernandes (+163), Edinson Cavani (+163), Marcus Rashford (+190), Anthony Martial (+190), Che Adams (+210), Mason Greenwood (+240)

Tottenham at Chelsea – Timo Werner (+143), Harry Kane (+162), Tammy Abraham (+165), Olivier Giroud (+165), Son Heung-Min (+225), Christian Pulisic (+225), Gareth Bale (+270), Kai Havertz (+290), Hakim Ziyech (+290)

Wolves at Arsenal – Pierre-Emerick Aubemeyang (+145), Raul Jimenez (+205), Alexandre Lacazette (+205), Eddie Nketiah (+240)

EPL Best Bet

*Two Leg Parlay – Draw No Bet – Manchester United (-220) + FC Barcelona (-420) = (-124) total odds

The Betting Game Plan

This is a tough slate as far as betting goes. As far as EPL, let’s roll with Manchester United to walk away from their game with points. Using the draw/no bet adds a layer of security. However, we will need to turn to La Liga for the rest.

From there, with Messi rested mid-week, Barcelona should be in a good spot against Osasuna at home. The money line on the Spanish side adds a solid second leg to our parlay.

This article focuses on 11/25 UCL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Wednesday 11/25 UCL Slate and DFS Gameplan

It’s time for the second half of Matchweek 4/6 of the Champion’s League Group Stages with a six game slate beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.

As we already saw all of these teams square off a few weeks ago, there is a lot of existing data to work with.

Note: Projected starters are highlighted in bold. Goal odds of all potential starters are included, but if a player is not in the starting lineup, disregard his scoring odds.

Bayern Munich (-455)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Robert Lewandowski (-400), Serge Gnabry (-130), Leroy Sane (-113), Thomas Muller (+104), Leon Goretzka (+145), Kingsley Coman (+160), Corentin Tolisso (+260)

The defending Champions are coming off a disappointing draw with Werder Bremen over the weekend in the Bundesliga. However, they are the joint biggest favorites on the slate hosting Red Bull Salzburg.

Robert Lewandowski has the highest goal scoring odds on the slate and should be the chalk on both sites.

Joshua Kimmich remains out, my assumption is Thomas Muller will be taking his set pieces for DraftKings purposes.

Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, and Muller, are all secondary options. We will just have to see how the lineups shake out.

Atletico Madrid (-455)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Luis Suarez (Goal odds not listed as presumably out with Covid-19), Joao Felix (+100), Diego Costa (+138), Angelo Correa (+160), Yannick Carrasco (+200), Marcus Llorente (+255)

That other team from Madrid comes in a very heavy favorite here at home against Lokomotiv Moscow. They come in with some momentum following a big win over Barcelona this past weekend in La Liga.

Luis Suarez is likely going sit out as he continues to recover from Covid-19, so DraftKings sportsbook did not list goal odds for him. I’d think this is a bump to Joao Felix, who will likely be flanked by Diego Costa and Yannick Carrasco, with Angel Correa an alternate option. I like Felix’s FanDuel price as compared to his hefty DraftKings salary.

As far as other plays, Koke and Kierian Trippier tend to dominate the set pieces. Marcus Llorente can always troll a goal.

Ajax (-335)

Key Scoring Odds: Dusan Tadic (+104), Lassina Traore (+104), Quincy Promes (+110), Zakaria Labyad (+128), Antony (+128), David Neres (+185)

Ajax is favored at home at lowly FC Midtjylland. They beat them 2-1 on the road the first time around and should be able to repeat here. At the time, Ajax was also down a few players due to Covid-19. Going back to the game stats, they were not quite as dominant as you might expect or desire for a -335 favorite.

Among the forwards, Dusan Tadic handles at least half the set pieces “Zakaria Labyad the rest” and would likely take any penalty kicks. Lassina Traore has been a monster in the Dutch league, the Eriedivisie, so his $7 price tag on FanDuel is laughable. The other two in the mix to start in the attack are David Neres, Labyad and Antony.

Real Madrid (+230) at Inter Milan (+110)

Key Scoring Odds: Romelu Lukaku (+102), Lautaro Martinez (+143), Andrea Pinamonti (+150), Alexis Sanchez (+160), Mariano Diaz (+200), Eden Hazard (+230), Ivan Perisic (+240), Arturo Vidal (+275), Vinicius Junior (+290), Marco Asensio (+310)

Real Madrid was able to beat Inter Milan the first time around 3-2 in Madrid. However, both Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos will be out tomorrow. As a result, I like the Inter Milan side here to take care of business.

Beginning with Real Madrid, on FanDuel, Eden Hazard is back up to $14 so unplayable. Marco Ascensio is cheap but maybe for a reason. The other projected starter in this attack is “Mariano”. He is $6 on FanDuel, and has the highest goal scoring odds of the trio, so the preferred play.

Whichever two Real Madrid wingbacks start, they are in play, but I wouldn’t go wild with a stack here.

Turning to Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku continues to be a beast in all competitions and is the top play in this game. Lautaro Martinez is the alternate scoring option. I’d focus my exposure there.

Atalanta (+360) at Liverpool (-152)

Key Goal Scoring Odds: Mohammed Salah (-124), Sadio Mane (+106), Diego Jota (+118), Divock Origi (+175), Duvan Zapata (+175), Robert Firmino (+185), Luis Muriel (+210), Joseph Illicic (+220), Alejandro Gomez (+250).

Atalanta’s defensive liabilities puts the forwards Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, Diego Jota, and Roberto Firmino in play as pivots off of some of the other high priced options.

Salah is just coming back from Covid-19, Mane has been pretty good, but Jota has been the story lately since joining the Reds.

The two high-flying wing defensemen Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are expensive and I’ll pass.

Porto (+155) at Marseilles (+195)

Key Scoring Odds: Moussa Marega (+188), Dario Benedetto (+195), Florian Thauvin (+205), Luis Diaz (+240), Sergio Oliveira (+240), Joao Mario (+260), Dmitri Payet (+295)

The final game, Porto v. Marseilles, is the least interesting for either DFS or real life. A Moussa Marega one off here/there is fine, but this is not somewhere I would try to go overboard. Porto beat them up 3-0 the first time around and should definitely win at home but I would think more along the lines of 1-0.

The Betting Game Plan

Both Atletico Madrid and Ajax at their current odds are a bit too rich for my blood. You could look at Bayern Munich and Liverpool, but as mentioned above, I do like Inter Milan here. Without Real Madrid’s two core veterans, it seems like the rematch will be a very different game.

This article focuses on 11/23 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Monday 11/23 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

Before we embark on another full week of UCL, first, we have a two game EPL slate to finish off Matchweek 9/38. This slate can be found with a 12:30pm ET start time on both sites.

In the early game, Burnley (+175) hosts Crystal Palace (+180). This one certainly doesn’t sound like the most exciting soccer game ever.

Afterwards, Danny Ings less Southampton (+230) will be traveling to Wolves (+132). This game has even worse goal odds than the one beforehand, so we’re definitely in for a low scoring slate.

Notable Goal Scoring Odds

Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them.

Crystal Palace at Burnley – Chris Wood (+180), Ashley Barnes (+215), Wilfried Zaha (+215), Michy Batshuayi (+245), Jordan Ayew (+265), Christian Benteke (+290)

Southampton at Wolves – Raul Jimenez (+145), Che Adams (+265), Daniel Podence (+325), Pedro Neto (+325)

EPL Best Bet
