9/4 MLB DFS Winner: Jack Flaherty

As Jason chose him in our Premium Gold Cheatsheet as a value pitcher, Jack Flaherty dominated the San FranciscoGiants. Flaherty went eight shutout innings, allowing just a single base hit with a walk and eight strikeouts.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Jack Flaherty has been one of the best pitchers in MLB in his last seven games. In that span, he has a 0.59 ERA in 46 innings, while allowing less than a hit every two innings. He has pitched like an ace in 2019 and has not shown any signs of slowing down. Expect Jack Flaherty to continue this excellence throughout September.

9/4 MLB DFS Winner: Whit Merrifield

Another value pick by Jason, this time at the second base slot, Whit Merrifield had a good day at the plate against the Detroit Tigers. Merrifield went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Merrifield is having a great season on a largely mediocre Royals team. He upped his average to .302 for the year and is able to play anywhere on the field. He will be a huge asset for an up-and-coming Kansas City team with a great contract. Expect Whit Merrifield to continue to get on base as he ranks in the Top 50 in OBP.

9/4 MLB DFS Winner: Adam Frazier

Here is a screenshot of all the second basemen listed on our Hitter Projection Model, available for all premium users. Adam Frazier was one of the more expensive second basemen on the slate, but he delivered against the Miami Marlins, going 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI from the leadoff spot.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Incredibly this is a down year batting-wise for Frazier compared to last year. The Pittsburgh Pirates are having a down year as a whole but Fraizer, in the leadoff spot with nine HRs and 41 RBI and a .335 OBP is solid. He is in the midst of a hot streak, so expect him to ride this out for a while and build momentum into 2020.

9/4 MLB DFS Winner: Washington Nationals Offense

The Washington Nationals had an incredible ending to their game last night against the New York Mets. The team combined for 11 runs on 15 hits with three walks and added a stolen base as well. Kurt Suzuki (2-for-5, 4 RBI) and Juan Soto (3-for-4, 3 RBI) each hit a home run as well.

Outlook for the rest of the season: The Washington Nationals have superb starting pitching, only comparable to Houston. They don’t need to ask their offense for much on a given night. The team averages 5.31 runs a game and have scored the third-most runs in the National League behind the Dodgers and Braves. It may be difficult for the Nats to compete for the N.L. East but expect them to continue to win down the stretch and secure the top Wild Card spot.

9/3 MLB DFS Pitching and Prop Picks

This 9/3 MLB DFS slate is going to be one full of excitement for sure. We have a bunch of incredible starting pitchers taking the mound tonight, and the prices that go along with it. The good news is with the Rockies are in Los Angeles getting pummeled by my Dodgers, so we have no Coors Field Game. So I bring you today’s pitching picks.

On the Defense

Mike Clevingervs. Chicago White Sox

$12,000 FD / $12,200 DK

This 9/3 MLB DFS slate is going to make you face some tough decisions as to who you are going to pay up for. I see no way that Clevinger is not that guy tonight. He is facing a White Sox team striking out 25.8 percent of the time versus RHPs while posting a wRC+ of 70 over the last seven days. Over his last 18 2/3 innings spanning three starts he has 28 strikeouts while only allowing one earned run. This one is easy.

Max Scherzervs. New York Mets

$10,500 FD / $11,700 DK

If you wanted to save a few bucks in cash games and GPPs, while still having that high strikeout upside, then I would use Mad Max. On DK I would rather pay up for Clevinger. Regardless, Scherzer faces a highly unpredictable Mets team falling in the middle of the pack offensively versus RHPs. The good news on this 9/3 MLB DFS slate is that over three starts versus New York this season Mad Max has 28 strikeouts over 20 innings with a 2.70 ERA.

Jack Flahertyvs. San Francisco Giants

$10,000 FD / $10,500 DK

With so many bigger names going on this 9/3 MLB DFS slate I suspect Flaherty will make a great GPP play at his price-point on both sites. The truth here is he gets a fantastic matchup tonight facing a Giants team striking out 23 percent of the time versus RHPs. Also, over the last seven days the Giants have a pathetic wRC+ of 70. With Flaherty having 16 strikeouts over his last 12 innings I see a ton of strikeout upside here at low ownership.

MikeMontgomery vs. Detroit Tigers

$7,300 FD / $4,300 DK

Ok, so someone seriously fell asleep at the wheel at DraftKings for this 9/3 MLB DFS slate. That $4,300 salary is not a typo. With Montgomery facing a Tigers team striking out 27.2 percent of the time (1st in MLB) with a .292 wOBA (30th in MLB) versus LHPs, I would be baffled if anyone did not use him tonight. Besides Monty’s bad outing versus Baltimore in his start before last, he has posted four solid starts allowing only three earned runs over 24 1/3 innings with 28 strikeouts. Hello, McFly? Free Square.

On the Attack

This 9/3 MLB DFS slate offers a bevy of scrub pitchers and rookies to attack tonight. In principle I would rather attack a proven loser than a question mark. So these are my top three matchups tonight which includes one really sneaky stack that may be overlooked.

Chi Chi Gonzalez vs. Los AngelesDodgers

Wow, the Dodgers totally lit it up last night, and I see the same thing happening again on this 9/3 MLB DFS slate. Chi Chi Gonzalez has allowed 19 earned runs over his last four starts, and three were on the road dispelling the Coors Field question. With the Dodgers posting a whopping .356 wOBA and wRC+ of 115 versus RHPs, this will be a highly owned stack tonight in cash games and GPP play. Pretty much all of them.

Notable Bats

Will Smith is currently sporting a .472 wOBA versus RHPs with a wRC+ 198.

Matt Beaty is batting .318 over the last seven days with a HR and five RBI. His price is reasonable on both sites and offers you exposure at a discount.

Gavin Lux is the minimum salary on FD and a low $3,500 on DK. With the Dodgers rookies as of late offering huge upside, and Lux going 3-for-5 with a double last night, I am all in here.

Dereck Rodriguez vs. St. LouisCardinals

Rodriguez has allowed 11 earned runs over his last two starts lasting a total of nine innings. Facing a Cardinals team that can be highly explosive is not beneficial to a quality start for a scrub pitcher. With a lot of stacking options tonight on this 9/3 MLB DFS slate I see the ownership here being lower than normal.

Notable Bats

Marcell Ozuna is batting .087 over his last seven days while not launching a ball into orbit in nine games. With a .363 wOBA and wRC+ of 125 versus RHPs this is a trend that will end sooner than later.

Kolten Wong is batting .600 with a home run and seven RBI over the last seven days while posting a .344 wOBA versus RHPs on the season.

Dexter Fowler currently has a .336 wOBA versus RHPs and is seven-for-eight in his last two games.

Mitch Keller vs. Miami Marlins

Now this is a real reach here. The Marlins are deplorable versus both RHPs, and LHPs. But every now and again, they come out and put up some runs. Now this is purely a super risky boom-or-bust GPP play tonight that if it pays off will net you cheap bats with super low ownership. With the Fish facing a flop of a starting pitcher like Keller. who has allowed 15 earned runs over his last three starts facing much better opponents, this is quite viable. Regardless, on this 9/3 MLB DFS slate with a lot of options, I am getting sneaky.

Notable Bats

Garrett Cooper is the best of a crappy lineup versus RHPs posting a .340 wOBA and wRC+ of 113. He generally finds himself batting cleanup, which offers huge upside.

Miguel Rojas returned to action the day before yesterday going 0-for-4. On the season he still has a .317 wOBA versus RHPs while only striking out 13.9 percent of the time. Which is stellar for any Marlin.

Jon Berti has a .317 wOBA versus RHPs this season and offers a bit of upside at what should be low ownership. Especially for the high price on DK of $4,600.

Sign up and getstarted with WinDailySports! We have your sport and the experts to help makeyou money. Why lose another buck when you can win TODAY!

Monkey Knife Fight Prop Pick

I am going with both the overs here tonight.

Kelly should easily manage that strikeout total with the Marlins striking out 25 percent of the time versus RHPs.

Machado is hard to keep down most nights and tonight should be no different. I cannot see Kelly lasting the whole game which opens the door for late inning offense.

9/3 MLB DFS Winner: Kyle Hendricks

As both guys chose him on our Premium Gold Cheatsheet as a value pitcher, Kyle Hendricks had a great start against the Seattle Mariners in an interleague matchup. Hendricks went six innings with a run on three hits with a walk and seven strikeouts.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Hendricks has a 3.22 ERA since the All-Star break and 3.39 overall. Hendricks has been Mr. Reliable and has given you exactly what you ask for every fifth day, so expect him to finish the season strong.

9/3 MLB DFS Winner: J.D. Davis

Another value pick that both guys hit on was J.D. Davis, as he had a solid day at the plate against the Washington Nationals. He ended the game 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. His four runs that he accounted for was the difference in the game.

Outlook for the rest of the season: J.D. Davis has been better than advertised this season, upping his average above the .300 mark with this performance. He has looked like a different player than he did in his Houston stint to begin his career and DFS players should expect him to remain around .300 as the Mets attempt to make a run to the playoffs.

9/3 MLB DFS Winner: Scott Kingery

This is a screenshot from the Hitters Projection Model, available to all premium members. Scott Kingery was valued at $3,000 on FanDuel and outperformed his value against the Cincinnati Reds, going 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.

Outlook for the rest of the season: As a young player, this pennant chase is huge for Kingery. He has a slash line of .276 / .501 / .836 on the season and is outplaying his 2018 totals with about 40 less games played. DFS players should expect Scott Kingery’s value to remain the same. But as a guy who can be a “super utility” player in the field and swing a bat towards the bottom of the order and drive in the big guys in the order, expect Kingery to have a solid last month of the regular season.

9/3 MLB DFS Winner: Los Angeles Dodgers Offense

The Los Angeles Dodgers offense went insane last night against the Colorado Rockies. The team had 16 runs on 17 hits with six walks. Joc Pederson went 3-for-5 with two homers and five RBI, Corey Seager went 2-for-5 with a homer and four RBI and Matt Beaty went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Outlook for the rest of the season: The Dodgers are competing with the Yankees and Astros for the best record in baseball to have home-field advantage throughout the postseason. Los Angeles averages 5.51 runs per game, which is the best in the National League. Expect the offense to continue hitting well into the playoffs.

On theDefense

JakeOdorizzi vs. Detroit Tigers

$9,700 FD / $10,500 DK

The Detroit Tigers are a prime team to attack on any given day, and this 9/2 MLB DFS slate is no different. They are striking out 27.3 percent of the time (1st in MLB) with a .292 wOBA versus RHPs this season. Meanwhile, Odorizzi has been steady mobbin’ to the tune of RHBs, hitting a whopping .187 off him this season. With the Tigers being extremely right-handed heavy, Jake not from State Farm should dominant this Little League lineup today.

NoahSyndergaard vs Washington Nationals

$9,000 FD / $10,000 DK

In GPP play on this 9/2 MLB DFS slate, even facing a teamthat mashes RHPs like the Nationals, I would seriously consider using Thor. Eventhough the Nats have ugly numbers versus opposing pitchers this season, they donot versus Syndergaard. Over three starts versus Washington this season Thorhas 18 strikeouts over 21 innings with eight earned runs, four of them comingin his first start back in late March. With Syndergaard having a road ERA of 3.49versus his 4.73 ERA at home, everything appears to be a go for him today.

MasahiroTanaka vs. Texas Rangers

$8,000 FD / $8,100 DK

Tanaka, much like Julio Teheran of years past, is much more dominant at home. So far this season he is posting a 3.26 home ERA as opposed to his 5.93 ERA on the road. The Rangers are striking out 24.2 percent of the time versus RHPs with a low wRC+ of 86, while batting a pathetic .202 over the last seven. Despite Masahiro’s ups and downs as of late, in his last start facing Seattle he sent seven to the dugout mad while pitching a seven-inning shutout. On this 9/2 MLB DFS slate Tanaka is one of my favorite plays for the price.

Joe Rossvs. New York Mets

$6.800 FD / $6,600 DK

For the record on this 9/2 MLB DFS slate I prefer this play a lot more on DK over FD. Although the price is still nice on FD, I think the value is better served in the SP2 slot on DK. The Mets can be very dangerous to attack in MLB DFS versus RHPs, they are in the middle of the pack striking out 20 percent of the time with a .319 wOBA. But Ross has looked too good as of late to pass up here. Over his last five starts spanning a little more than 25 innings, he has only allowed three earned runs while striking out 16 batters. My biggest concern is innings here, as he does have a few starts in that span where he failed to reach the five-inning mark.

On theAttack

Drew Smylyvs. Cincinnati Reds

For fantasy owners Drew Smyly has done anything but make you smile. Over his last five starts he has allowed 20 earned runs over his last 26 innings, making the Reds a prime stack on this 9/2 MLB DFS slate. Cincinnati has some powerful RHBs, and is posting a .328 wOBA versus LHPs, Smyly is in serious trouble today in the Great American Small Park.

Notable Bats

Aristides Aquino has a .578 wOBA and 261 wRC+ versusLHPs with four straight games without a HR.

Phillip Ervin has .488 wOBA and 202 wRC+ versus LHPswhile batting .333 with two home runs over the last seven days. He also hasfound his way into the three spot.

Eugenio Suarez has .423 wOBA and 160 wRC+ versus LHPs and has seven home runs over his last nine games. He did leave yesterday’s second game of the doubleheader with a hand injury so keep your eyes peeled here.

JordanZimmerman vs. Minnesota Twins

The McRib, Roller skates, and Sandy Koufax are three thingsthat all had to come to an end. Much like Jordan Zimmerman’s good starts as oflate. Although he has three starts in a row allowing two earned runs or less, the last time he faced Minnesota they bombed him for five runs over threeinnings sending the Zim home in dismay. I see serious regression here today andwill stack against this geriatric pitcher on this 9/2 MLB DFS slate facing a Twinsteam posting a .345 wOBA versus RHPs.

Notable Bats

Nelson Cruz is crushing everyone and RHPs are notdifferent. He is posting .411 wOBA and wRC+ of 158 versus RHPs this season.

Mitch Garver currently has a .396 wOBA versus RHPs with a wRC+ of 147. Over the last seven days he is also batting .455 with three home runs.

Luis Arraez, if he gets the start today, which I believe he will, has a .374 wOBA versus RHPs with a complimentary 133 wRC+.  With bigger bats, and $4,000 price tag on DK, you can get him at a low ownership today for sure.

Mike Minorvs. New York Yankees

The New York Yankees hit home runs like I eat Beyond Burgers, pretty much every day. I know this, does Mike Minor? If not, he will soon enough. The Yankees are crushing lefties to the tune of .360 wOBA this season with a wRC+ of 121, both which are 4th in MLB. The magic number is 55, remember that number on this 9/2 MLB DFS slate, it is how many dingers the Yanks have launched this season versus lefties. With Minor allowing 10 earned runs in his last 12 1/3 innings, I suspect the number will be much higher tomorrow. Keep in mind that Minor has reverse splits, so do not be afraid to go lefty on lefty here in GPPs.

Notable Bats

D.J. LeMahieu is posting .476 wOBA and 202 wRC+ versus LHPs this season. Despite the horrible BVP versus Minor I would still rank him at the top batting .400 with two home runs over the last seven days.

Aaron Judge has returned to pass judgement with his .470 wOBA versus LHPs. He is batting .375 with three home runs over the last seven days and I fully see him putting one out today.

Luke Voit has posted a .354 wOBA this season along with a wRC+ of 120 versus LHPs. I like the pricing for him on both sites today and will have a lot of exposure to him. If Mike Ford somehow draws the start, that will certainly be my pivot.

Sign up and get started with WinDailySports! We have your sport and the experts to help make you money. Why lose another buck when you can win TODAY!

Monkey Knife Fight Prop Pick

With the Tigers striking out 27.2 percent of the time versus RHPs, and Odorizzi striking out six batters or more in four out of his last five starts the over here seems to easy.

Zimmerman more-than-likely will not see enough innings after the Twins bats get a hold of him today, so the under here is where I am looking.

9/2 MLB DFS Winner: Adalberto Mondesi

As Wes Anderson chose him on our Premium Gold Cheatsheet as a value shortstop, Adalberto Mondesi was a dominant player against the Baltimore pitching staff. Mondesi went 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scored.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Mondesi is not a slugging percentage guy as last night’s box score shows. He is a prototypical shortstop, a good fielder with good contact. Expect him to continue to slap singles throughout September and finish with around a .285 batting average.

9/2 MLB DFS Winner: Daniel Vogelbach

This is from the Premium Gold Hitter Projection Model, where you can compare hitters on the slate and it is available for all premium members to access. Daniel Vogelbach had a ridiculously low value on the slate against the Texas Rangers and he showed up. Vogelbach went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, three runs and two walks.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Vogelbach has been on a serious cold streak as of late so it was great to see him look like he broke out of it. He’s a homer shy of 30 for the year and is arguably the best position player that remained on the Mariners team this season. He has a .234 BABIP, which stinks for him, but he should be able to get that up about 10-15 points before the season ends.

9/2 MLB DFS Winner: J.A. Happ

This screenshot is from the Pitcher Projection Model, available for all premium members to access. Happ was a bottom-tier pitcher on the slate but was one of the best performers against Oakland at Yankee Stadium. He finished with six shutout innings allowing just one hit and four walks with five strikeouts.

Outlook for the rest of the season: This is a little too late for Happ, who is in the midst of a bad year. If you jumped on him on the slate, then you got great value. He is playing for a playoff team and is a solid pitcher in September so he can be a good DFS player for the rest of the regular season.

9/2 MLB DFS Winner: Tampa Bay Rays Offense

The Tampa Bay Rays had a big weekend series against the Cleveland Indians and their bats showed up. They went up against Adam Plutko and ended up with eight runs and 14 hits and drew four walks while only striking out five times the entire game.

Outlook for the rest of the season: After last night, the Rays sit 0.5 games ahead of Cleveland for the first Wild Card spot and there are four teams in the race for the two Wild Card spots. The Rays are getting healthy while Cleveland is playing with a lot of significant injuries. Expect the bats to continue to be hot.

This Sunday September 1st slate is all about landing the right bats. Follow my stud and value plays and lock in the MLB DFS Picks of Destiny.

Check out our Data Driven Projections for FanDuel Hitters for Premium Gold Members.

Todays picks are listed in order of preference, not price.

David Jones won 100K on FanDuel! Read about it here!

Catcher: UPDATE: NOT STARTING Mitch Garver ($3,300 FD) has five hits and three home runs in his last two games. He is slashing .429/ 1.143 ISO over the last seven days. He takes on the Detroit Tigers starter Spencer Turnbull and his deceptive 4.18 ERA. As the season has progressed, Turnbull has gotten less reliable. In August he touts a 6.55 ERA. He has given up at least one (usually more) runs in every game he has pitched in since June 11th. In his last eight innings he has given up nine runs. Garver is in a fantastic MLB DFS spot to keep his elite run alive.

Catcher Value: Jason Castro, Robinson Chirinos

First Base: Yuli Gurriel ($3,700 FD) Here is a reasonably priced Astro for MLB DFS. Gurriel is hitting .247 ISO/.386 wOBA with 22 homers vs righties. He is En Fuego right now and on a nine game hit streak. He should be batting sixth behind five fantastic Astro bats. Gurriel should easily be able to reach double digit FanDuel points today with upside for over 20 if he can send one over the wall. Spoiler alert; he can.

First Base Pivot: UPDATE NOT STARTING: Mike Ford, Matt Olsen

Second Base: Whit Merrifield ($3,400 FD) is my favorite second baseman to exceed MLB DFS value today. He is underpriced and gets and fantastic matchup vs one of my favorite pitchers to target in Aaron Brooks (and the Baltimore Bullpen). Brooks has a 5.79 ERA and gets blown up almost every game he pitches in. Throw out his last start in Washington where he shutout the Nats. I watched that whole game and I blame the Nationals lack of enthusiasm more than Brooks suddenly “figuring it out”. Before last game, Brooks has only scoring over 31 fantasy points ONE TIME since April Fools Day (not joking). Royals are my favorite stack on the day and Whit is going to help lead the charge.

Second Base Pivot: Jose Altuve

Third Base: DJ LaMahieu ($4,200 FD) is on a hot streak with multiple hits in four of his last six games. He hits .286 ISO/.477 wOBA on the season vs lefties and gets to face Sean Manaea this afternoon in Yankee Stadium. Manaea is coming off the 60 day IL after shoulder surgery and I wouldn’t expect him to last six innings here. He has looked sharp in is rehab starts in Triple-A but facing this bomb hitting Yankees squad will be a much different task. LaMahieu should be batting lead off and has not put up a goose egg in his last eight starts. He feels safe with big MLB DFS upside today.

Third Base Pivot: Miguel Sano, Hunter Dozier, Matt Chapman

Shortstop: Alex Bregman ($4,200 FD) I really like the Astros today but the price of all the bats is making it difficult to stack them. He hits .259 ISO/.395 wOBA with 21 home runs. He is batting cleanup and no matter which pitcher Toronto chooses to follow Font (Gaviglio or Godley), Bregman is a solid play at shortstop. He is always contributing. Bregman has not put up a zero in the box score since August 2nd. That alone is impressive. He is safe.

Shortstop Pivots: Adalberto Mondesi, Trea Turner, Marcus Semien

Outfield: Aaron Judge ($4,400 FD) is possibly the hottest hitter in baseball right now. He has a home run in six of his last eight games. He is absolutely locked in. He faces Sean Manaea in his first start since his shoulder surgery. Manaea is not a terrible pitcher but Judge is an elite bat that should be able to take advantage of him, AND the Oakland A’s bullpen. Lock in Judge and figure the rest out.

Outfield: Max Kepler ($3,500 FD) is way to cheap on FanDuel. He should easily be priced over 4K today. He has 26 home runs on the season vs righties and hits .293 ISO/.359 wOBA. He has multiple hits in his last two games in Detroit and at minimum he is getting on base again. The Twins as a team have put up 30 runs combined in their last three games. Today they keep their foot on the gas and Kepler gets his.

Outfield: Jorge Soler ($3,500 FD) is hitting .303 ISO/.373 wOBA vs righties this season and has 33 homers. He goes against my fave pitcher to target in MLB DFS, Aaron Brooks. Easy choice, especially at that price.

Outfield Pivots: Houston Outfield (Springer, Alvarez, Brantley)

I primary used FanDuel when building optimal MLB DFS lineups.

This Saturday August 31st slate is all about landing the right bats.

Catcher: Tom Murphy ($2,900 FD) The new and improved young Mariners lineup is hitting lefties well and not many people have noticed. Murphy has 11 home runs in only 97 at bats. He hits 412 ISO/.458 wOBA and faces Brock Burke in the hitter friendly Globe Life Park. Brock has looked good in his major league debut, but I think that is more luck than skill personally. In the minors he had a 7.88 ERA. Look for Murphy, Nola and Seager to keep the Mariners in the game.

Catcher Value: None

First Base: Albert Pujols ($2,900 FD) I love Pujols at this price, vs Brian Johnson (L), at home, on a Saturday night. Pujols is hitting lefties better than righties this year, with 10 home runs in 147 ABs. There is something about Pujols at home on Saturday. He just tends to exceed value. I will lock him in at a cheap $2,900.

First Base Pivot: Danny Santana, Sam Travis, Austin Nola

Second Base: KiKi Hernandez ($2,700 FD) is on a hot streak and his price is not rising. In his last five games he has scored double digit fantasy points four times. He has exceeded 20 FanDuel points three times in the same time frame. Robbie Ray is on the bump and is not necessarily an easy target, unless you name is KiKi. He hits Ray at .395 ISO/.405 wOBA with four home runs against him in 38 at bats in his career. Dodgers look like they are in a sneaky MLB DFS spot tonight.

Second Base Pivot: Ryan McMahon, Adam Frazier

Third Base: Rafael Devers ($4,300 FD) hits .211 ISO/.344 wOBA vs lefties and is always a threat to go deep. Dillion Peters has given up three home runs in his last 8.2 innings pitched. A few Red Sox are going to hit one over the wall tonight and statistically Devers has one of the best chances. Red Sox are becoming my favorite MLB DFS stack of the night.

Third Base Pivot: Jose Osuna, Kyle Seager

Shortstop: Trevor Story ($4,100 FD) Shortstop looks loaded tonight but Story appears to be in the top spot. The Pirates are rolling out Joe Musgrove and they tend to want to let him go deep, whether he is getting hit or not. Tonight I think he gets hit. Rockies came out a bit flat last night and broke at lot of hearts at high ownership but that will not scare me off of them tonight. Story is hitting .274 ISO/ .382 wOBA with 23 home runs vs righties on the season.

Short Stop Pivots: Trea Turner, Kevin Newman, Xander Bogaerts (I think you have to pay up at SS tonight)

Outfield: J.D. Martinez ($4,500 FD) destroys lefties and gets to tee off vs Dillon Peters. He has given up six home runs in his last five games but still has managed a decent 4.11 ERA on the season. JD is hitting .483 ISO/.539 wOBA this season with 16 home runs in 118 ABs. He went deep last night and he has a great chance to do it again. If I end up stacking Red Sox, he would be the first bat I try to get in.

Outfield: Sam Hilliard ($3,100 FD) His price keeps sneaking up but at $3,100 he still can easily exceed value. In his short MLB debut he is hitting .545 ISO/.509 wOBA. Of course this will regress, but he is off to a very nice start. He has two home runs in his 11 AB’s vs righties in the majors. I am not scared to target Joe Musgrove tonight, especially in Coors. He has a 4.67 ERA on the season, and tonight shouldn’t help make that any better.

Outfield: Kole Calhoun ($3,300) The Angels will face lefty Brian Johnson (6.83 ERA) for the “bulk” of the game. Calhoun hits southpaws at .203/.441/.746 on the season. I expect the Angels to score enough to have a chance to win tonight and Calhoun should be batting around the cleanup spot and have the opportunity to help clear the bases. At $3,300 on FD he make for a nice MLB DFS value play.

Outfield Pivots: Willie Calhoun, Brian Goodwin, Aristides Aquino

I primary used FanDuel when building optimal MLB DFS lineups.
