Top Two Lines

Cash – Tampa Bay One – Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat

Very few people were on Tampa Bay last night, which is good, because it was the second line which ended up doing all of the work. However, if choosing just one, it still makes the most sense to turn to the top line which has been the fourth most productive line in the NHL over the last seven games. During that span, the Tampa Bay top-line sports a 70% GF, boosted by a whopping 130 SATF and 68.1% SAT%; so they are getting a lot of opportunities and piling up shots. The Lightning is a huge -360 favorite with a high 4.42 total and should be the focus of your cash games. In the alternate, you can still turn to the second line consisting of Steven Stamkos, Alex Killorn, and Anthony Cirelli, if you wish. I would suggest exposure to both lines if possible as there is no better matchup in the NHL than hosting the Red Wings.

GPP – Boston One – Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand

This line has quietly kept its consistency despite what has not been Boston’s best stretch of the season. With more attention on the Tampa Bay top line due to matchup and price, the B’s top line should go a bit lower owned than one might expect on a six-game slate. Patrice Bergeron is on a streak of three consecutive games with two goals, so he is absolutely on fire. Pasta is on a five-game point streak with five assists in his last two games alone. Finally, Brad Marchand has six points in his last two games. As has been a lesson at times this season, be sure to never sleep on the Boston Bruins. For what it’s worth, I also like the over on their projected 3.32 goal total. They should be able to smash Buffalo on home ice.

Value Lines – DraftKings – Tampa Bay Two, Calgary One and Two

Value Lines – FanDuel – Tampa Bay Two, Calgary Two

David Pastrnak/Patrice Bergeron/Jack Eichel – Over 2.5 Points – Between 2/3 of the Boston top line and Jack Eichel, this should reach three points one way or the other. You can also turn to Tampa Bay game but then you’re forced to used someone like Dylan Larkin instead of Eichel.

Victor Hedman – Over 3.5 Fantasy Points – Victor Hedman has been an absolute beast lately and couldn’t ask for a better matchup.

Welcome to WinDaily’s newest NHL article, the NHL Stack and Track! In this article, the 12/28 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in tonight’s 9-game slate.

12/28 NHL Stack Report

  1. Vancouver Canunks Two $$$
    Boeser – Pettersson – Miller (FanDuel: $21,000 | DraftKings: $18,900)
    – The Kings are bad, not the Red Wings bad but they are really bad. The Kings allow an average of 3.13 goals against per game and have one of the league’s worst penalty kills at 73.6%. Vancouver’s recently reunited top-line play together on the top power-play unit and will most likely face one of the league’s worst-performing goaltenders in Jonathan Quick. His GAA is at 3.05 and his SV% is below .900. Quick has also lost three of his last four games and his last matchup against the Canucks, Quick gave up five goals on 49 shots, four of which were given up to this line. (Three of which contributed to Boeser’s third career NHL hat-trick) The 5-goal thrashing happened in California, the Kings are in line for a thrashing against the Canucks in Vancouver. (The Canucks have a positive home record [11-5-3] and a negative away record [8-10-1])
Ideal Defensive Partner: Quinn Hughes (FD: $4,200 | DK: $4,800)
  2. Florida Panthers One $$
    Huberdeau – Barkov – Dadonov (FanDuel: $20,200 | DraftKings: $18,000)
    – With the best odds of tonights 12/28 NHL slate, Florida is set to take on the league’s worst team and the league’s worst goalie in the Red Wings (9-26-3) and Jimmy Howard (2-12-1). The Red Wings are last in the NHL in most offensive and defensive stat categories including goals, shots on goal, goals allowed and penalty kill. Florida’s powerhouse line has been reunited and with Detroit’s best player sidelined with an upper-body injury, this line will look to do some damage at home in the BB&T Center tonight. Throughout the line shuffles this line remained intact on the power play and was still able to do damage, sporting the league’s 8th best power play at 22.9%. Now this line will have extremely high ownership. However, in this matchup, you’ll have to bit the bullet in my opinion. Especially in cash games. This is my top stack of the night.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Keith Yandle (FD: $5,700 | DK: $4,900)
  3. Arizona Coyotes Two $
    Keller – Soderberg – Schmaltz (FanDuel: $15,500 | DraftKings: $15,600)
    – It is most likely that Vegas will match-up their top line with Arizona’s powerful top line allowing for Arizona’s second line to receive less attention. The presence of this line is spread across both of Arizona’s power-play units and each player sees around 16-17 minutes per game. Not to mention that Schmaltz and Keller and Arizona’s leading scorers and will be facing a Vegas team that lost 4-3 last night against the 27th-placed Ducks.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Jakob Chychurn (FD: $4,300 | DK: $4,200)

Honorable Mention(s): Tampa Bay Lightning One, Carolina Hurricanes Two

12/28 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best

  1. Chris Driedger (FD: $7,100 | DK: $8,200)
  2. Frederik Andersen (FD: $8,800 | DK: $8,300)
  3. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $7,600 | DK: $8,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Carter Hart

Worst

  1. (1A) Jimmy Howard (FD: $7,000 | DK: $6,900)
  2. (1B) Martin Jones (FD: $7,200 | DK: $7,400)
  3. Jonathan Quick (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,100)

12/28 NHL Wild Card of the Day

Travis Konecny (FD: $6,400 | DK: $6,100
– The rest of Konecny’s line doesn’t look intriguing to me, however, the Sharks are in a deep hole, losing their last four games including an embarrassing blown 2-goal lead last night to the lowly Kings, allowing a recent AHL call-up to score twice in the third period to force overtime. The Sharks projected starter Martin Jones has been atrocious as of late losing his last six starts (two of which he was pulled in) giving up around four goals per game in the process. Konecny, on the other hand, has been producing for the Flyers this season. He is Philadelphia’s top scorer with four more points in three fewer games than Sean Couturier who sits in second for the Flyers. Konecny has five points in his last four games and sees around 20 minutes of ice-time per game including time on Philadelphia’s top power-play unit. Konecny is a bright spot for me in this slate and I don’t mind him as a one-off play tonight.
Honorable Mention(s): MacKenzie Weegar DK, Bryan Rust FD

12/28 NHL Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Jonathan Huberdeau – More Fantasy Points than Hoffman (+0.5) –Hoffman has been cold with only one assist in his last five games and despite playing on Florida’s top power-play unit alongside Huberdeau, Hoffman plays on Florida’s third line during even strength, giving Huberdeau all the ice time with the high powered offense, not to mention, Huberdeau has been feeling it as of late with 11 points in his last four games (3 goals, 8 assists). Huberdeau should easily outscore Hoffman in fantasy points even with the 0.5 cushions for Hoffman.

Brock Boeser – Over 2.5 Fantasy Points  Boeser is hot right now and against a tired Kings team (who was taken into OT last night) and Jonathan Quick, Boeser should have no trouble reaching the 2.5-point threshold, especially being back on Vancouver’s high powered second line. Not to mention that he has met the 2.5 fantasy point threshold in his last three games.

Honorable Mention(s): Rapid Fire Huberdeau more Fantasy Points than Hoffman and Barkov more Fantasy Points than Dylan Larkin. 0.5-point Cushion for both.

Top Two Lines

Florida One – Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau, Evgeni Dadonov

The Florida Panthers will get the absolute juiciest matchup on the board, playing at home against the Detroit Red Wings. It was nice while the lines were split to be able to turn to a red hot Noel Acciari for some salary savings. If you believe the hot streak lives on, go for it. However, the primary top line is reunited and all three skaters should be able to capitalize on the line change. That seems like the best way to eat what should be Florida chalk. The three top-line skaters also share a correlation on the first power-play unit. Florida has a slate high 4.2 projected goal total and is a -290 favorite, which is extremely high for NHL standards. I would definitely turn to them in cash games and think that they make for a strong building block in tournaments as well.

Toronto One – Auston Matthews, Mitchell Marner, Zach Hyman

Last night, it was newly formed Toronto second line that had the better night and this line busted. However, this line is the more talented of the two and should be able to eat in a pace up matchup with the New York Rangers. Both teams come in on the second night of a back to back. The Leafs will be able to head home for this one, where they can dictate the matchups. It seems like the spot that the Auston Matthews and Mitchell Marner driven pairing can find a way to go off. Toronto has the second-highest implied goal total on the slate at 3.91 and are a decent -180 favorite. The Rangers are riding high after a big home upset of Carolina, but they will likely come back down to earth here.

Jimmy Howard – Over 28.5 Saves – I’d think Florida will drop at least 32-35 shots or so minimum, making this a good bet.

Auston Matthews – Over 0.5 Goals – Auston Matthews did not light the lamp last night, but lightning does not often strike twice.

Top Two Lines

FanDuel – Colorado One – Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, Mikko Rantanen

The NHL is back and on FanDuel, it makes sense to turn to the Colorado top line. They come in tied for the second-highest projected total on the slate at 3.53, as a -200 home favorite. However, unlike the Capitals and Maple Leafs, this is predominantly a one-line team. Their numbers have not been as strong as one would expect. However, against a Minnesota Wild team that has allowed at least five goals in two of their last three games, this should be a spot for some positive regression.

DraftKings – Washington Two – Evgeny Kuznetsov, T.J. Oshie, Jakob Vrana

In the alternative, you can look at either of the two Toronto lines. They make for terrific plays on either side. However, I think that a huge source of value on DraftKings comes in the form of the Washington second line. They are still criminally underpriced with Evgeny Kuznetsov at $5,200, T.J. Oshie at $5,000, and Jakob Vrana at $5,000. The Capitals come in the biggest favorite on the slate at -255, with the highest projected total, 3.62. I do not think they will receive the ownership that they should get on their price due to all of the game log truthers.

12/27 NHL DraftKings Rankings

DraftKings Forwards/Centers

  1. Nathan MacKinnon – Colorado Avalanche – $8,100
  2. Auston Matthews – Toronto Maple Leafs – $7,300
  3. John Tavares – Toronto Maple Leafs – $8,300
  4. T.J. Oshie – Washington Capitals – $5,000
  5. Evgeny Kuznetsov – Washington Capitals – 5,200

  1. Roman Josi – Nashville Predators – $6,400
  2. John Carlson – Washington Capitals – $6,600
  3. Erik Karlsson – San Jose Sharks – $5,400
  4. Ryan Ellis – Nashville Predators – $5,200
  5. Vince Dunn – St. Louis Blues – $2,900

NHL DraftKings Goalies

  1. Jordan Binnington – St. Louis Blues – $7,900

Nathan MacKinnon – Under 5.5 Fantasy Points – I’d expect four to five shots on goal so either a goal or two assists would get Nathan MacKinnon over. It’s a tall enough ask that if you’re playing him on DFS this is a nice hedge.

Mitchell Marner – Over 3.5 Fantasy Points – An assist and four shots on goal would get Mitchell Marner there and that seems very doable.

Welcome to WinDaily’s newest NHL article, the NHL Stack and Track! In this article, the 12/27 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in tonight’s 11-game slate.

12/27 Stack Report

  1. Boston Bruins One $$$
    Pastrnak – Bergeron – Marchand (FanDuel: $24,500 | DraftKings: 23,000)
    – This line has been fire with involvement in six goals over Boston’s past three games. Led by the leagues scoring leader David Pastrnak, the B’s top line has clicked all season and has lined up together on Boston’s top power-play unit, along with defensive stud, Torey Krug. Tonight the Bruins will face off against the Sabres and although they have had offensive success this season their back end has been disappointing and their goaltending has been abysmal leaving it open to DFS exploitation.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Torey Krug (FD: $5,600| DK: $5,300)
  2. Toronto Maple Leafs Two $$
    Marner – Matthews – Hyman (FanDuel: $20,600 | DraftKings: 18,000)
    – Coach Keefe molded this line partway through Mondays matinee gong-show against the Hurricanes and as soon as this combination was put on the ice it was ELECTRIC. In 59 seconds this line put up three goals, to turn a 6-4 deficit into a 7-6 lead in the third period. 60 minutes with this pairing could be dangerous, especially against a struggling goalie in Blackwood and a struggling team in the Devils.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Tyson Barrie (FD: $4,700| DK: $5,300)
  3. New York Islanders One $
    Eberle – Barzal – Lee (FanDuel: $18,600 | DraftKings: 15,600)
    – The Isles have been silent assassins as of late. In their past three games, this line has been responsible for five goals and nine assists! The entire line is an absolute bargain, especially Anders Lee on DraftKings, below 5K is a joke, exploit it while it is available. All three play on the Isles top power-play unit and tonight will be facing off against a struggling goaltender in Corey Crawford who has given up an average of four goals in each of his last four starts even getting the hook in his last start after coughing up 4 goals on 20 shots, to the Devils.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Devon Toews (FD: $3,900| DK: $3,800)

Honorable Mention(s): Calgary Flames One, Vegas Golden Knights Two

12/27 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best

  1. Marc-Andre Fleury (FD: $8,500| DK: $8,000)
  2. Joonas Korpisalo (FD: $7,600| DK: $6,900)
(This pick needs a bit of explanation: Yes Korpisalo does not have good Vegas odds. However, Washington has faced Columbus four times in 2019 and Columbus has won all four with Korpisalo claiming three of the four wins, including the two this season. The Jackets have held the Capitals to 3 goals in 4 games in 2019 including 2 shutouts, although the risk is high, I like Korpisalo as a GPP option, especially considering the Capitals have been mediocre as of late and the Jackets have won their last five games, including the 3-0 shutout over the Caps on the Dec 16th.)
  3. Seymon Varlamov (FD: $8,300| DK: $8,300)
    Honorable Mention(s): Frederik Andersen

Worst

  1. Mike Smith (FD: $7,200| DK: $7,400)
  2. Linus Ullmark (FD: $7,200| DK: $7,600)
  3. MacKenzie Blackwood (FD: $7,200| DK: $6,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): Corey Crawford

Wild Card of the Day

Ilya Mikheyev (FD: $3,900| DK: $3,600
– Soup man has been producing as of late in his depth role with the Leafs this season as a rookie. Mikheyev is extremely affordable on both sites and has been putting up points recently like it is nobody’s business with five points in his past five games. (3G, 2A) Tonight he will be up against Mackenzie Blackwood (2.81 GAA) and is set to play alongside Leafs captain John Tavares on the Leafs second line.
Honorable Mention(s): Bryan Rust

12/27 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Mathew Barzal – Over 3.5 Fantasy Points – Barzal has been on an absolute tear leading into the Christmas Break with five points in his last three games, in all three he easily cleared the 3.5-point threshold and given that he will be facing a sieve in Crawford who has given up an average of four goals in his past four starts, reaching the 3.5-point total should not be an issue.

Auston Matthews – Over 0.5 Goals  With three goals in his past two games, Matthews is second in the NHL in goals behind David Pastrnak. Unlike Pastrnak, Matthews has scored goals in his past four games. In this sense even though betting on Pasta getting a goal is safe. I recommend sticking with the hot hand. Both will be facing… questionable goaltending in Blackwoods and Ullmark.

Honorable Mention(s): David Pastrnak Over 0.5 Goals

Welcome to WinDaily’s newest NHL article, the NHL Stack and Track! In this article, the 12/23 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in tonight’s 11-game slate.

12/23 Stack Report

  1. Buffalo Sabres One $$$
    Olofsson – Eichel – Reinhart (FanDuel: $21,000 | DraftKings: 21,200)
    – Eichel is two games removed from one the best point streak in the NHL this season and will be looking to embark on a new streak against Anderson and the Sens tonight. Despite some glimpses of his old self Anderson has largely been underwhelming and is settling around the leagues worst in goaltending. While Buffalo’s top line has flourished into one of the most potent offenses in the NHL. With a remarkable start to the season, Victor Olofsson has propelled himself into the Calder Trophy conversation with nine power-play goals. Eichel, Olofsson, and Reinhart lead the Sabres in offense and all appear on the Sabres top power-play unit, seeing around 20 minutes of ice time per game each.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Rasmus Dahlin (FD: $5,400| DK: $5,600)
  2. Vancouver Canucks Two $$
    Boeser – Pettersson – Miller (FanDuel: $20,800 | DraftKings: 17,600)
    – The line shuffle is over, and Vancouver’s top three are back on Vancouver’s top line. Just in time as they are set to face off against a struggling Mike Smith at home in Rogers Arena. Smith has not held a save percentage above .900 in his last three games and Vancouver’s best line has managed to record five goals and five assists in their past two games against powerful NHL opponents in Pittsburgh and Vegas. All three young guns play on Vancouver’s top power play and each plays around 20 minutes per game.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Quinn Hughes (FD: $4,300| DK: $4,700)
  3. St. Louis Blues Two $
    Perron – O’Reilly – Sundqvist (FanDuel: $17,100 | DraftKings: 15,800)
    – It was a hard choice between STL2 and STL1 as both have been playing so well as of late however St. Louis 2 has had a slight edge in my opinion and against Quick and the Kings tonight both lines will have the ability to dominate and both STL1 and STL2 combine to form St. Louis’ top power-play unit. In their past three NHL games, STL 2 has scored four goals and seven assists and the team has put together a five-game winning streak in the lead up to the Christmas break while the Kings find themselves near the bottom of the league, currently hold a two-game losing streak.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Justin Faulk (FD: $4,000| DK: $3,900)

    Honorable Mention(s): Chicago Blackhawks Two

12/23 Goalie Tracker

Best

  1. Jordan Binnington (FD: $8,600| DK: $8,000)
  2. Carter Hart (FD: $7,900| DK: $8,200)
  3. Seymon Varlamov (FD: $8,300| DK: $8,400)
    Honorable Mention(s): Adin Hill

Worst

  1. Mike Smith (FD: $7,200| DK: $7,200)
  2. Craig Anderson (FD: $7,400| DK: $7,100)
  3. MacKenzie Blackwood (FD: $7,200| DK: $6,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): Corey Crawford

Wild Card of the Day

Noel Acciari – The Lightning are currently in a slump and Vasilevskiy has not been particularly helpful giving up 11 goals in his last three starts. On the other hand, Noel Acciari has been putting up insane numbers on Florida’s new-look second line. In just three games with the new pairing, Acciari has put up eight points, seven of which were goals! Leading him to back-to-back hat tricks and an average of 15 minutes of ice-time. Acciari is making Coach Quenneville look as good as he did during the Blackhawks dynasty.

12/23 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Patrick Kane – Over 0.5 Assists – The Blackhawks will face off at home against the lowly Devils who have lost eight of their last ten games and hold an abysmal 6-11-0 record on the road. Kane is 10th in the NHL in assists and has four in just his last two games. Grabbing on against Blackwood tonight shouldn’t be a challenge for the former playoff MVP.

Elias Pettersson – Over 3.5 Fantasy Points Pettersson already has 17 goals in the season and 39 points in just 37 games, considering that the 3.5 point threshold is met after one goal it seems extremely likely that Pettersson will reach this mark at home against Mike Smith.

This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 12/23 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Both sites have fairly different scoring formats, particularly with the recent changes on DraftKings. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. BE SURE to double-check both regular and power play lines at both morning skate and before lock as they can drastically change from the time of publication.

Top Two Lines

DraftKings – Philadelphia One – Claude Giroux, Sean Couturier, Travis Konecny

This is a relatively large slate with very few spots really popping, so ownership should be spread out. One of my favorite building block lines will be the Philadelphia Flyer’s first line. Philly is a -175 home favorite and draws a pace up matchup with the Rangers, who have struggled on the road this season. They come in a bit too expensive for my taste on Fanduel where Sean Couturier is $6,800, Claude Giroux is $7,400, and Travis Konecny is $6,400. However, on DraftKings, Couturier is $6,200, Giroux is $5,600, and Konecny is $5,500. That makes them a value line on DraftKings that you can use a starting point before adding a more expensive line or some individual studs. Philadelphia one should be able to manipulate the best matchups of the night and all three skaters share correlation on the first power-play unit.

FanDuel – Tampa Bay One – Brayden Point, Nikita Kucherov, Ondrej Palat

Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we have a battle between Florida’s two NHL teams, as the Lightning host the Panthers. I do like the Panthers’ second line as a value line on both sites while Noel Acciari remains on fire. Nonetheless, Tampa Bay is a -177 favorite and has a slate high 3.7 projected goal total. You can also target the Tampa Bay second line as they are a lot cheaper and can be used as a value line. However, the main way to get Tampa Bay exposure is through the use of the top line.

Ondrej Palat is cheap on both sites, making the complete line a bit more affordable. You could also pair Alex Killorn or add on Steven Stamkos from the second line as a third or fourth wheel if looking for a more unique power play based alignment. I do not think we are necessarily getting any other deals on these guys on either site. However, we are paying what is likely market price for them. The top line has been the better of the two during the last ten-game stretch. Of the three, Nikita Kucherov is the priority and can be used as a one-off. Kucherov is not priced much differently from Brayden Point, making any decision between the two if it comes down to it, fairly straightforward.

Jack Eichel – Over 0.5 Assists – Jack Eichel can rack up points with the best of them. Ottawa has been good at home but I like his chances of at least grabbing an assist for the night.

Nikita Kucherov – Over 4.5 Fantasy Points – It could be a big night for Nikita Kucherov against their “rivals”.

Top Two Lines

Both Sites – Arizona One – Phil Kessel, Taylor Hall, Christian Dvorak

Our favorite punching bag, the Detroit Red Wings, somehow found a way to avoid getting smashed until late in last night’s 4-0 loss to the Maple Leafs. Now they travel home to play host to the Arizona Coyotes. A week ago or so, despite the juicy matchup, I doubt that I would’ve considered this team given their struggles to score on the road. However, the addition of Taylor Hall has allowed them to create one talented feature line. Last time out, Arizona got involved in a shootout with Minnesota losing 5-8. I do not think that we can rely on the stats from two games, but know that the talent is certainly there. As for the Red Wings, let’s just rely on this stat, an NHL worst 145 goals allowed, eighteen more than the next closest team, the Devils. That pretty much sums them up. Arizona is a huge -200 favorite for a reason. Oh, and Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard is making his first start of the season so might not be quite up to game speed.

Both Sites – Las Vegas One – William Karlsson, Reilly Smith, Jonathan Marchessault

Las Vegas Two – Max Pacioretty, Mark Stone, Chandler Stephenson

I hate having to choose between these two lines as it almost always means that the one I pass on will be the line to go off. Both of these lines are tied for the fifth-most productive line in the NHL over the past ten games in terms of goals followed. The deeper metrics give the topline a bit of an edge during that span. Using whichever one fits your build more in terms of salary probably makes the most sense. If creating multiple lines I would have exposure to each. Las Vegas is a -140 favorite despite being on the road, and given the animosity between these two teams, it should be very motivated. Since the Sharks big playoff moment last season, Las Vegas has had the better of these two teams. They are coming in hot, going 6-2-2 over their last ten games, while the Sharks have lost seven of their last eight games.

Taylor Hall – Over 0.5 Assists – Sharing is caring and Taylor Hall will want to make a good impression with his new teammates. Given the prominent role he now plays on the power play and the matchup, he should be able to grab an apple.

Aaron Dell – Over 26.5 Saves- Aaron Dell will have to press charges for assault after this game. Hopefully, he can stop at least 27 of the 30 plus shots headed his way. Not that I will probably be rooting for him with plenty of Vegas shares.

Top Two Lines

Montreal Canadiens One – Tomas Tatar, Philip Danault, Brendan Gallagher

This line has been on a roll especially Winger Brendan Gallagher who alone has five goals and four assists this month. All three players play on Montreal’s second power-play unit. The Montreal Canadiens will be entering Rogers Place to face off against the slumping Oilers who will be on the second half of a back-to-back.

Carolina Hurricanes One – Andrei Svenchnikov, Jordan Staal, Warren Foegele

Svech scored his second goal in as many games in style, pulling off yet another lacrosse-style goal! Both Foegele and Staal provide viable salary relief and Jordan plays alongside Andrei on Carolina’s top power-play unit. They will be at home against a Panthers team who played in a 7-4 barn burner against the Stars less than 24 hours prior. Carolina, in general, is heating up and this line is flying under the radar and each player is bringing value to the line. Foegele is also on a mini tear himself scoring four points in his last three games and Staal has twelve shots and three points in his past TWO GAMES!

Honorable Mention(s): Nashville Predators Two – Filip Forsberg, Matt Duchene, Rocco Grimaldi

12/21 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Tomas Tatar Over 2.5 Fantasy Points  Tatar is Montreal’s point leader with 30 points in 35 games. An O/U this low is almost larceny, take advantage as Tatar has posted six points in his last six games. Not to mention he will be playing on a rested team facing a slumping side on the second half of a back-to-back.

Philip Grubauer – Over 29.5 Goaltending Saves – Chicago is averaging 30.8 shots per game while falling near the bottom of the league in goals. For their part, Colorado allows a lot of shots (3rd most in the league) but has the 8th best GAA in the league. In terms of high danger chances, Chicago sits in the bottom half of the league, whereas Colorado has the best High Danger Saves % in the entire league.

Honorable Mention: Nathan MacKinnon +0.5 assists
