NHL 1/4 NHL DFS – The Daily Hot Shot Chris Davies 4 years ago written by Chris Davies This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 1/4 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Both sites have fairly different scoring formats, particularly with the recent changes on DraftKings. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. BE SURE to double-check both regular and power play lines at both morning skate and before lock as they can drastically change from the time of publication. Sign up NOW for WIN DAILY Premium Gold right here! Projections, weather reports, wagering info, 24/7 expert chats and more! Top Three LinesTampa Bay One – Brayden Point, Nikita Kucherov, Ondrej Palat. Add-ons: Victor Hedman and Steven StamkosThis is one is fairly obvious as Tampa Bay is a slate high -240 favorite with an implied goal total of four on the nose. Ottawa has a respectable home resume so far this season but much of that was with Anders Nilsson playing at a high level in the net. Tampa’s second line is also worth a look as an alternative. I don’t even mind some sort of team stack multi-line combo as well in tournaments. Sometimes these high total games provide enough points for everyone to eat. Vancouver One – Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, J.T. Miller. Add-on: Quinn HughesNext up we have the Vancouver Canucks top line with a 3.59 implied goal total, coming in as a -160 home favorite. The Rangers are traveling to the west coast and given some of their defensive woes on the road, it’s a good spot for Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, and J.T. Miller. I like this line more on DraftKings where they are cheaper if you play on both sites. All three skaters also have correlation on the top power-play unit, thus giving us some additional upside. If looking to expand, you can turn to Quinn Hughes, quarterback of the aforementioned power-play unit. Colorado One – Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, Joonas Donskoi. Add Ons: Cale Makar, Mikko RantanenNathan MacKinnon is in a league of his own right now. I just have to give him the top rank on both sites on a nightly basis. You can always just play him as a one-off, but on FanDuel, Joonas Donskoi is always cheap and if you have the money, obviously there is correlation available with Gabriel Landeskog. Be sure to double-check that this line doesn’t revert back to a pairing with Mikko Rantanen or something before lock. The Devils have played surprisingly well since losing Taylor Hall, but they are simply out of their league here. Honorable Mention: Arizona Coyotes I just wish the lines didn’t split the stars up as much. However, the Flyers have been awful on the road recently. This is definitely more of a tournament special. 1/4 NHL DraftKings Rankings ForwardsNathan MacKinnon – Colorado Avalanche – $8,100Steven Stamkos – Tampa Bay Lightning – $7,400Elias Pettersson – Vancouver Canucks – $6,600Brayden Point – Tampa Bay Lightning – $6,400Clayton Keller – Arizona Coyotes – $4,600 DefensemenRoman Josi – Nashville Predators – $6,400Victor Hedman – Tampa Bay Lightning – $6,300Jeff Petry – Montreal Canadiens – $4,400Brady Skjei – New York Rangers – $3,600Erik Johnson – Colorado Avalanche – $3,200 GoaliesPavel Francouz – Colorado Avalanche – $8,000Antti Raanta – Arizona Coyotes – $7,600 1/4 NHL FanDuel Rankings ForwardsBryan Rust – Pittsburgh Penguins – $5,700Nathan MacKinnon – Colorado Avalanche – $9,100Steven Stamkos – Tampa Bay Lightning – $8,300Alex Galchenyuck – Pittsburgh Penguins – $4,300Nikita Kucherov – Tampa Bay Lightning – $7,900 DefensemenRoman Josi – Nashville Predators – $6,800Victor Hedman – Tampa Bay Lightning – $6,300Cale Makar – Colorado Avalanche – $5,600Alexander Edler – Vancouver Canucks – $5,300Jacob Chychrun – Arizona Coyotes – $3,800 GoaliesPavel Francouz – Colorado Avalanche – $8,300Antti Raanta – Arizona Coyotes – $8,0001/4 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!Nathan MacKinnon/Steven Stamkos/Nikita Kucherov – Over 2.5 Points – Nathan Mac is the first man in without a doubt. NHL 1/3 NHL DFS – The Daily Hot Shot Vincent Pensabene 4 years ago written by Vincent Pensabene This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 1/3 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Top LineCash – Dallas One – Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, Alexander RadulovFriday night, we have a fairly straightforward two-game slate where it will be no secret that the Dallas top line is major chalk. The Stars draw the best matchup in the NHL, at home against the Red Wings. So far, for most of the season Dallas has spread out it’s best players across all three lines. However, their top three skaters could not have been reunited at a better time. At the time of writing, the Stars are a -300 favorite, which is ridiculous by hockey standards. You should just eat this line in cash games and in tournaments look elsewhere if you want or try to combine them with something a little more off the board. GPP – Carolina Two – Sebastian Aho, Teuvo Teravainen, Nino NiederreiterIf looking for a pivot off of the Dallas Stars top line or another line to try to squeeze in with them, look no further. I would expect the Carolina second line to come in behind Dallas One in terms of ownership, but they certainly have their fair share of upside as well. They have been rolling as of late and play host to a Washington team more known for their offense than defense. They are also extremely affordable, with only Sebastiano Aho’s FanDuel price over 7k. 1/3 NHL DraftKings Rankings ForwardsTyler Seguin – Dallas Stars – $7,000Alex Radulov – Dallas Stars – $6,300Jamie Benn – Dallas Stars – $6,200Andrei Svechnikov – Carolina Hurricanes – $5,900Sebastian Aho – Carolina Hurricanes – $6,400 DefensemenDougie Hamilton – Carolina Hurricanes – $6,200John Carlson – Washington Capitals – $6,400Miro Heiskanen – Dallas Stars – $5,400Jacob Slavin – Carolina Hurricanes – $4,200Brett Pesce – Carolina Hurricanes – $3,500 GoaliesBen Bishop – Dallas Stars – $8,100Petr Mzarek – Carolina Hurricanes – $7,700 1/3 NHL FanDuel Rankings ForwardsTyler Seguin – Dallas Stars – $7,700Alexander Radulov – Dallas Stars – $7,200Jamie Benn – Dallas Stars – $6,300Andrei Svechnikov – Carolina Hurricanes – $6,100Sebastiano Aho – Carolina Hurricanes – $7,500 DefensemenDougie Hamilton – Carolina Hurricanes – $6,300John Carlson – Washington Capitals – $7,100Miro Heiskanen – Dallas Stars – $4,700Jacob Slavin – Carolina Hurricanes – $4,100Esa Lindell – Dallas Stars – $3,800 GoaliesBen Bishop – Dallas Stars – $8,800Petr Mzarek – Carolina Hurricanes – $7,9001/3 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!Tyler Seguin/Alexander Radulov/Alex Ovechkin – Over 2.5 Points – Rather than through DFS, I will get my Ovechkin exposure through Monkey Knife Fight where salary is a non-factor. NHL Win Daily 1/2 NHL Stack and Track Allan Fabrykant 4 years ago written by Allan Fabrykant Welcome to WinDaily’s first NHL Stack and Track of the new decade! In this article, the 1/2 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in tonight’s monster 12-game slate. 1/2 NHL Stack Report Boston Bruins One $$$Marchand – Bergeron – Pastrnak (FanDuel: $25,200 | DraftKings: $23,000)– This line is by far the strongest option out of many viable top lines in tonight’s monster 12-game slate. In their past four games, this line has put up seven goals and fourteen assists, making them one of the NHL’s top lines this season. In tonight’s matchup, they will be at home against one of the league’s worst goalies in Elvis Merzlikins. Despite a strong performance from Elvis last game, the statistics are simply too strong to ignore, especially when considering that this matchup is at TD Gardens where Boston has only lost one game in regulation and Elvis is 0-7 on the road.Ideal Defensive Partner: Brandon Carlo (FD: $3,700 | DK: $3,000)Toronto Maple Leafs Two $$Kerfoot – Tavares – Nylander (FanDuel: $17,800 | DraftKings: $17,200)– It was really hard to choose between Toronto’s top two lines but the second line has been slightly more productive and for a slightly more reasonable price. William Nylander has been the best producer on this line with a three-game multi-point streak and 11 points in his last six games. The center Tavares has been very productive as well with seven points in his last three games. Tavares produces a lot of shots and both Nylander and Tavares play on Toronto’s top power-play unit. The final forward, Kerfoot, has been recently upgraded to this line after an injury to Ilya Mikheyev and is by far the cheapest player on the line. Kerfy has still been producing well enough for his price point with three points in his last four games and has been seeing an increase in ice-time as well as a spot on Toronto’s second power-play unit under Sheldon Keefe.Ideal Defensive Partner: Tyson Barrie (FD: $5,100 | DK: $5,300) Montreal Canadiens Two $Suzuki – Domi – Lekhonen (FanDuel: $14,700 | DraftKings: $12,100)– Montreal has not played well as of late, however, this team has been putting up the numbers to make them viable as a cheap option. For his part, Vasilevskiy has been winning games but he has struggled to keep the puck out of the net and maintain his Vezina-winning numbers from last season (2018/19 GAA – 2.40) (2019/20 GAA 2.89). Max Domi centers this line and he has been a non-stop scoring machine as of late with consistent output, managing to put together a six-game goal streak. Lehkonen hasn’t been gaining from Domi’s offensive output as of yet but, Suzuki has been with eight points in his last six games alongside Domes. Ideal Defensive Partner: Jeff Petry (FD: $5,100 | DK: $4,200)Honorable Mention(s): Florida Panthers One, Pittsburgh Penguins One 1/2 NHL Goalie Tracker Best Tuukka Rask (FD: $8,500 | DK: $8,300)Tristan Jarry (FD: $8,800 | DK: $8,500)Antti Raanta (FD: $7,800 | DK: $8,300)Honorable Mention(s): Semyon Varlamov Worst Elvis Merzlikins (FD: $7,100 | DK: $6,800)Aaron Dell (FD: $7,200 | DK: $6,900)Craig Anderson (FD: $7,400 | DK: $7,100)Honorable Mention(s): MacKenzie Blackwood, John Gibson 1/2 NHL Wild Card of the Day Alex Galchenyuk (FD: $4,200 | DK: $3,400) – There are a lot of strong, viable options for tonight’s Wild Card. Galchenyuk has been put in an interesting situation given the recent long-term injury to Jake Guentzel. Galchenyuk now finds himself alongside Rust and Malkin on Pittsburgh’s top pairing. Galchenyuk has also been heating up with three points in his last three games and he will also find some time on Pittsburgh’s power play.Honorable Mention(s): Dylan Strome, Ryan Strome (yes they are brothers), William Nylander, Tom Kuhnackl, Conor Garland Game Stack of the Day:TOR2/WPG1HM: CHI3/VAN2 1/2 NHL Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus! Panarin-Zibanejad-Tkachuk – Putting Up Points – This game pits two high scoring teams with two of the highest combined implied totals on tonight’s slate. Both goaltenders in this matchup have been very shaky and the O/U is set at 6.5. These three players have been each team’s top producers and I can easily see them surpassing three points together. Nylander-Scheifele-Tavares – Putting Up Points – This game also has two of the league’s highest-powered offenses and both teams allow a lot of shots and a lot of goals. Each of these three players is currently on a roll and together have six goals and 12 assists in their last three games alone. While each starting goalie has a total of 24 goals against over their past three games combined. Top Two LinesPittsburgh One – Bryan Rust, Evgeni Malkin, Alex GalchenyuckThe Pittsburgh Penguins had some bad news recently as Jake Guentzel suffered a major injury. He will more likely than not miss the remainder of the season and thus with Sidney Crosby still out, Alex Galchenyuck gets the first crack at joining the first line. Nevertheless, the Penguins have a great matchup on home ice against a Sharks team that has been awful recently. Pittsburgh has yet to miss a beat despite all of the injuries and that should continue tonight. Be sure to double-check lines at morning skate as there is always the possibility that they experiment further in Guentzel’s absence. Buffalo One – Jack Eichel, Victor Olofsson, Sam ReinhartBuffalo finally got its mojo going against the Lightning and now find themselves in a spot where they can explode. The Sabres are a -130 favorite in what should be a high scoring affair. Edmonton couldn’t even hold a six-goal lead the other night against the Rangers without some tension towards the end due to five late goals allowed. You can’t count on any of the depth lines here but you can turn to Jack Eichel. He should be one of the most popular skaters on the slate. 1/2 NHL DraftKings Rankings ForwardsNathan MacKinnon – Colorado Avalanche – $7,900Jack Eichel – Buffalo Sabres – $7,400Evgeni Malkin – Pittsburgh Penguins – $7,200Bryan Rust- Pittsburgh Penguins – $6,300David Pastrnak – Boston Bruins – $7,700 DefensemenKris Letang – Pittsburgh Penguins – $6,000Conor Murphy – Chicago Blackhawks – $3,700Brady Skjei – New York Rangers – $3,400David Savard – Columbus Blue Jackets – $3,100Adam Fox – New York Rangers – $3,300 GoaliesTristan Jarry – Pittsburgh Penguins – $8,500Antti Raanta – Arizona Coyotes – $8,300 1/2 NHL FanDuel Rankings ForwardsBryan Rust – Pittsburgh Penguins – $6,100Nathan MacKinnon – Colorado Avalanche – $8,600Jack Eichel – Buffalo Sabres – $8,100Evgeni Malkin – Pittsburgh Penguins – $8,600Alex Killorn – Tampa Bay Lightning – $5,400 DefensemenKris Letang – Pittsburgh Penguins – $6,900Jeff Petry – Montreal Canadiens – $5,100Jacob Chychrun – Arizona Coyotes – $3,900Ryan Graves – Colorado Avalanche – $3,800Ian Cole – Colorado Avalanche – $3,700 GoaliesTristan Jarry – Pittsburgh Penguins – $8,800Anti Raanta – Arizona Coyotes – $7,8001/2 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!Nathan MacKinnon/Jack Eichel/Evgeni Malkin – Over 2.5 Points – This conservative bet has been hitting virtually every night, so tonight let’s shoot for the stars with three of the slate’s biggest studs. NHL 1/1 NHL DFS – The Daily Hot Shot Richard Masana 4 years ago written by Richard Masana This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 1/1 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Top LineDallas One – Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, Alexander RadulovFor our New Year’s Day slate, we have a one-game showdown slate centering around this year’s edition of the Winter Classic. It will be held open-air in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl. If looking to stack a full line, I would turn towards the Dallas top line. Nashville still has a reputation of being a solid defensive team but that hasn’t exactly been the case this year with 127 goals allowed on the season. A large part of the explanation behind this defensive downturn has been an uncharacteristically bad year for goaltender Pekka Rinne. Nevertheless, it makes sense to turn towards the Dallas side of this matchup given that they have the most talented line in the game, the goalie is much better formed in net and home-ice advantage. 1/1 NHL DraftKings RankingsBen Bishop – Dallas Stars – $16,200Roman Josi – Nashville Predators – $14,100Pekka Rinne – Nashville Predators – $15,600Tyler Seguin- Dallas Stars – $14,700 Alexander Radulov – Dallas Stars – $9,200 1/1 NHL FanDuel RankingsRoman Josi – Nashville Predators – $14,000Ryan Ellis – Nashville Predators – $9,500Jamie Benn – Dallas Stars – $10,500Tyler Seguin – Dallas Stars – $15,500Alexander Radulov – Dallas Stars – $13,0001/1 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!Roman Josi, Tyler Seguin, Alexander Radulov – Over 2.5 Points – This isn’t the ideal combination but on a one-game slate, our options are limited. NHL 12/31 NHL DFS – The Daily Hot Shot Chris Davies 4 years ago written by Chris Davies This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 12/31 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Sign up NOW for WIN DAILY Premium Gold right here! Projections, weather reports, wagering info, 24/7 expert chats and more! Top Two LinesEdmonton One – Connor McDavid, James Neal, Zach KassianUnfortunately, as of the time of writing, it looks as if the Edmonton lines will be split up again. Hopefully, that will change at morning skate and we can get the Connor McDavid/Leon Draisaitl pairing that we all yearn for. However, I still like this current top line and there is the added benefit of some salary savings built-in. The Rangers have allowed at least three goals in six of their last seven games and travel on the road to Western Canada. Because Zach Kassian loses the luster that he previously had for much of the season as the third wheel of the McDavid/Draisaitl pairing, you can perhaps opt to run a power play-oriented line instead of with McDavid, James Neal, and Draisaitl. Tampa Bay One – Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, Ondrej PalatIt is not hard to see goals on both sides of this game. Between Tampa Bay and Buffalo, this has one of the higher totals of the night with a couple of teams certainly capable of bringing the offense. The Lightning comes in favored but don’t overlook the Buffalo top line as well as they will be much lower owned. You can also pair Tampa Bay with Jack Eichel if not looking to full-stack. That said, Buffalo has been in freefall mode lately, so I would lean a bit heavier on the Tampa side, but hedge both. Tampa hasn’t really been at their best all season but you just can’t overlook what they are capable of. Prior to the letdown against Detroit, the Lightning had put up eleven goals in their previous two games. 12/31 NHL DraftKings Rankings ForwardsConnor McDavid – Edmonton Oilers – $8,100Leon Draisaitl – Edmonton Oilers – $7,200Nikita Kucherov – Tampa Bay Lightning – $7,600Brayden Point – Tampa Bay Lightning – $7,000Artemi Panarin – New York Rangers – $6,500 DefensemenDougie Hamilton – Carolina Hurricanes – $6,700Victor Hedman – Tampa Bay Lightning – $6,400Cale Makar – Colorado Avalanche – $4,800Ian Cole – Colorado Avalanche – $3,700Justin Faulk – St. Louis Blues – $3,700 GoaliesJordan Binnington – St. Louis Blues – $8,300Robin Lehner – Chicago Blackhawks – $7,200 12/31 NHL FanDuel Rankings ForwardsConnor McDavid – Edmonton Oilers – $8,800Leon Draisaitl – Edmonton Oilers – $8,000Evander Kane – San Jose Sharks – $6,500Nikita Kucherov – Tampa Bay Lightning – $7,900Brayden Point – Tampa Bay Lightning – $7,300Nathan MacKinnon – Colorado Avalanche – $8,600 DefensemenDougie Hamilton – Carolina Hurricanes – $6,300Victor Hedman – Tampa Bay Lightning – $6,400Jeff Petry – Montreal Canadiens – $4,800Justin Faulk – St. Louis Blues – $4,000Jacob Chychrun – Arizona Coyotes – $3,900 GoaliesRobin Lehner – Chicago Blackhawks – $7,900Jordan Binnington – St. Louis Blues – $9,00012/31 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!Patrice Bergeron/David Pastrnak/Kyle Palmieri – Over 2.5 Points – This style bet has been consistent money recently. This game isn’t on the main slate but either way, you have to like the Bruins top line against the “lowly and pathetic” Devils. Connor McDavid/Leon Draisaitl/Artemi Panarin – Over 2.5 Points – This combination just flowed as it came together. NHL Win Daily 12/31 NHL Stack and Track Allan Fabrykant 4 years ago written by Allan Fabrykant Welcome to WinDaily’s newest NHL article, the NHL Stack and Track! In this article, the 12/31 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in tonight’s New Year’s Eve 9-game slate. 12/31 NHL Stack Report Florida Panthers One $$$Huberdeau – Barkov – Dadonov (FanDuel: $20,700 | DraftKings: $17,700)– If anything last game against the Canadiens proved why I rate Florida’s top line so highly. This line was involved in four of Florida’s six goals and together amassed four goals and five assists amongst themselves. Tonight the Panthers have a very favorable matchup as they are set to face off against the Colombus Blue Jackets who are beginning to slip away from their recent success which won’t be aided by the recent injury of their all-star goaltender Joonas Korpisalo. Instead of a 25-year old rookie, Elvis Merzlikins will get the start against the Panthers. Elvis has struggled tremendously this season, losing his first eight starts while sporting a 3.41 GAA and a .889 SV%, setting him among the league’s worst goalies this season.Ideal Defensive Partner: Aaron Ekblad (FD: $4,900 | DK: $4,800)Philadelphia Flyers Two $$van Riemsdyk – Hayes – Konecny (FanDuel: $16,400 | DraftKings: $15,800)– This line has largely been flying under the radar but as of late they have been putting up impressive numbers helping the Flyers improve to five wins in their last six games. Both Konecny and van Riemsdyk appear on Philadelphia’s first power-play unit while Hayes plays on the second power-play unit. Altogether this line has contributed 9 goals and 10 assists during their recent 6-game surge. For tonight’s matchup, the Flyers are facing the Los Angeles Kings who have lost four of their last five games. The Kings have been less than impressive this season, finding themselves last in the Western Conference and third last in the NHL. The Kings are set to start Jonathan Quick between the pipes who currently hold a 3.05 GAA and a .893 SV%, not to mention has lost his last three starts. All of which bodes in favor of the Flyers tonight. Ideal Defensive Partner: Ivan Provorov (FD: $5,700 | DK: $5,300) St. Louis Blues One $Schwartz – Schenn – Kyrou (FanDuel: $14,400 | DraftKings: $13,300)– St. Louis has been on a roll! The Blues, who currently find themselves on an eight-game winning streak heading into New Years, have benefitted tremendously from the hard work of their top unit who have put up seven goals and 12 assists over their last five games. Despite the Coyotes being favored in this matchup, the Yotes have dropped their last three games and hold a losing record at home (8-10-1), while the Blues have managed to hold the exact same home and away records at 12-4-3.Ideal Defensive Partner: Alex Pietrangelo (FD: $6,300 | DK: $5,800)[*Justin Faulk can work as a defensive salary saver (FD: $4,000 | DK: $3,700) *] Honorable Mention(s): Tampa Bay Lightning One, New York Rangers Two 12/31 NHL Goalie Tracker Best Carter Hart (FD: $7,800 | DK: $8,200)Sergei Bobrovsky (FD: $7,800 | DK: $7,400)Jordan Binnington (FD: $9,000 | DK: $8,300)Honorable Mention(s): Andrei Vasilevskiy Worst Elvis Merzlikins (FD: $7,100 | DK: $7,800)Jonathan Quick (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,200)Linus Ullmark (FD: $7,200 | DK: $7,400)Honorable Mention(s): Jonathan Bernier, Corey Crawford (if he plays) 12/31 NHL Wild Card of the Day Ryan Strome (FD: $5,800 | DK: $4,300) – From a 15-game goal drought earlier in December, Strome has really turned his game around and now finds him second in scoring for the Rangers during the 2019-20 NHL campaign. Strome has put up insane numbers as of late mainly due to his monster four-point performance against Frederik Andersen, an all-star goaltender. Strome’s quality performance has landed himself a spot on the Rangers top power-play unit and during even-strength play, he is paired alongside all-star and Rangers leading scorer Artemi Panarin.Honorable Mention(s): Martin Necas, Ian Cole, Brady Skjei 12/31 NHL Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus! Jonathan Huberdeau – Over 3.5 Fantasy Points – Huberdeau has been Florida’s most productive player over their last six games and in those games he has reached the 3.5 fantasy point threshold five out of six times. Given that tonight’s matchup is against a goalie who has been struggling tremendously this season, all signs point to Huberdeau reaching this threshold yet again. McDavid-Zibanejad-Panarin – Putting Up Points – This game has one of the highest combined implied totals on tonight’s slate and all three of these players have been absolute studs as of late. Together these three have put up six goals and eight assists in their last three-game and with struggling goalies on both ends of the ice, this could prove to be another form of fireworks set to go off tonight. Honorable Mention(s): Artemi Panarin – Over 0.5 Assists Sign up and get started with WinDailySports! We have your sport and the experts to help make you money. NHL 12/30 NHL DFS – The Daily Hot Shot Vincent Pensabene 4 years ago written by Vincent Pensabene This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 12/30 on DraftKings and FanDuel. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. Top LinePittsburgh One – Evgeni Malkin, Bryan Rust, Jake GuentzelGiven that it is only a one-game slate, the options here are fairly limited. That being said, it would be hard to overlook the Pittsburgh top line in any format, particularly in cash games. They are far and away from the top line on the slate and any effort to fade the three of them is solely to try to be contrarian. The Penguins top line is the third-ranked line in the NHL over the last ten games with 8 full line goals and strong supporting stats during that span. Pittsburgh has a high 3.95 implied goal total and is a -230 home favorite as of the time of writing. Bryan Rust is still criminally underpriced on FanDuel and remains underpriced relative to his peers on DraftKings. He should be the first skater in your lineup given his recent form. 12/30 NHL DraftKings RankingsBryan Rust – Pittsburgh Penguins – $8,800Tristan Jarry – Pittsburgh Penguins – $7,500Evgeni Malkin – Pittsburgh Penguins – $10,200Jake Guentzel – Pittsburgh Penguins – $9,400Thomas Chabot – Ottawa Senators – $8,600Kris Letang – Pittsburgh Penguins – $8,400Mark Borowiecki – Ottawa Senators – $4,800Colin White – Ottawa Senators – $2,200Brady Tkachuk – Ottawa Senators – $9,200Anthony Duclair – Ottawa Senators – $8,000 12/30 NHL FanDuel RankingsBryan Rust – Pittsburgh Penguins – $9,500Jake Guentzel – Pittsburgh Penguins – $13,500Kris Letang – Pittsburgh Penguins – $12,500Thomas Chabot – Ottawa Senators – $10,500Evgeni Malkin – Pittsburgh Penguins – $16,000Jared McCann – Pittsburgh Penguins – $8,000Alex Galchenyuk – Pittsburgh Penguins – $7,500Brady Tkachuk – Ottawa Senators – $14,500Anthony Duclair – Ottawa Senators – $11,000Juso Riikola – Pittsburgh Penguins – $6,00012/30 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!Bryan Rust/Evgeni Malkin/Brady Tkachuk – Over 2.5 Points – Provided Pittsburgh’s high implied goal total, two of the three Pens on the top line should help to put this prop bet over. Evgeni Malkin – Over 0.5 Assists – Evgeni Malkin is the most expensive skater on the slate, but we can get around that on MKF. An assist is certainly not a tall ask with such a high total. NHL 12/29 NHL DFS – The Daily Hot Shot Chris Davies 4 years ago written by Chris Davies This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 12/29 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Top Two LinesCash – Tampa Bay One – Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, Ondrej PalatVery few people were on Tampa Bay last night, which is good, because it was the second line which ended up doing all of the work. However, if choosing just one, it still makes the most sense to turn to the top line which has been the fourth most productive line in the NHL over the last seven games. During that span, the Tampa Bay top-line sports a 70% GF, boosted by a whopping 130 SATF and 68.1% SAT%; so they are getting a lot of opportunities and piling up shots. The Lightning is a huge -360 favorite with a high 4.42 total and should be the focus of your cash games. In the alternate, you can still turn to the second line consisting of Steven Stamkos, Alex Killorn, and Anthony Cirelli, if you wish. I would suggest exposure to both lines if possible as there is no better matchup in the NHL than hosting the Red Wings. GPP – Boston One – Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, Brad MarchandThis line has quietly kept its consistency despite what has not been Boston’s best stretch of the season. With more attention on the Tampa Bay top line due to matchup and price, the B’s top line should go a bit lower owned than one might expect on a six-game slate. Patrice Bergeron is on a streak of three consecutive games with two goals, so he is absolutely on fire. Pasta is on a five-game point streak with five assists in his last two games alone. Finally, Brad Marchand has six points in his last two games. As has been a lesson at times this season, be sure to never sleep on the Boston Bruins. For what it’s worth, I also like the over on their projected 3.32 goal total. They should be able to smash Buffalo on home ice. You can also turn to Tampa Bay game but then you’re forced to used someone like Dylan Larkin instead of Eichel. Victor Hedman – Over 3.5 Fantasy Points – Victor Hedman has been an absolute beast lately and couldn’t ask for a better matchup. Sign up and get started with WinDailySports!
