We’re back with a new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! Hope you all had an amazing thanksgiving and a lot of Turkey! Tonight, we have a small 4-game slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/28 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/28 NHL Stack Report

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
    Marner – Matthews – Bunting (FanDuel: $21,000 | DraftKings: $19,600)
The Leafs have easily been one of the hottest teams in hockey as of late as they have won 13 of their last 15 games. One major difference from last season is that scoring has been much more evenly spread compared to last season but it is clear that the Leafs’ top players are leading their charge as of late. Because of this it is difficult to choose between the Leafs two top lines as both are in play in tonight’s small slate but I would slightly lean towards the top line as they see more ice time and have been a little more consistent in getting points throughout the Leafs recent run of form. Unsurprisingly, the Leafs are carrying one of the largest implied totals on the slate at 3.2 only behind Boston. Also of note is the Ducks horrible discipline, they are near the bottom of the league in penalty minutes per game and that a very bad stat to have troubles in against a stacked Leafs team. Expect the Leafs to continue their strong run of form tonight against the Ducks. A solid cash strategy for tonight would be building around either TOR1 or BOS1 (or both if you can).
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,300 | DK: $5,500)
  2. San Jose Sharks 1
    Meier – Couture – Balcers (FanDuel: $15,900 | DraftKings: $14,100)
Marc-Andre Fleury really looked like he turned a corner this season but his last game took away a lot of the progress he has made as of late as the Flames put three by him en route to a 5-2 win over the Blackhawks. The hard part about this game is we just dont know what version of Marc-Andre Fleury we are going to get this game. Regardless, its important to know that the Sharks top line have been on quite a roll as of late, especially Timo Meier who has 18 points in 15 games. The other key fact about Meier is that he is a shot machine, averaging 4.4 shots per game this season. His linemates are also relatively affordable for a top line and his centre Logan Couture also joins him on San Jose’s top power play unit. They will be a lower owned option tonight but they can provide excellent value in GPP formats.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Brent Burns (Mario Ferraro as a cheaper option works) (FD: $5,600 | DK: $6,600)

    Honorable Mention(s): NJD2 (Bratt-Mercer-Johnsson), BOS1 (Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak)

11/28 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,100 | DK: $8,000)
  2. James Reimer (FD: $7,400 | DK: $7,600)
    Honorable Mention(s): Mackenzie Blackwood

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Thatcher Demko (FD: $6,700 | DK: $7,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Martin Jones

11/28 NHL Wild Card Targets

Dawson Mercer (FD: $4,700 | DK: $4,700)
For his price, Mercer has been excellent as he has 8 points in his last 8 games and will be going up against a Flyers side who has been abysmal as of late, losing their last five games. Further to that point, the Flyers will be starting back-up Martin Jones as regular starter Carter Hart coughed up six goals in his last game. Jones is coming into tonight on a three-game losing streak and at Mercer’s price, it’s hard to stray away from him on this small slate with all the signs pointing to a strong night for the Devils. Vegas agrees as they currently have the Devils implied total at 3.3 and currently list the Devils as a -139 favourite at the time of writing. Mercer does see power play time on the second unit and sees anywhere from 16 to 18 minutes of ice time per game. Mercer’s linemates are good value plays as well (Andreas Johnsson, Jesper Bratt) but he also can work as a one off play.
Honorable Mention(s): Troy Terry, Brandon Hagel, William Nylander, Trevor Zegras, Tomas Tatar

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Winger Brad Marchand

Defenseman – Dougie Hamilton

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! This slate has a lot of games as we are close to the Thanksgiving break, so happy Thanksgiving to all! We have a large 14-gamer for tonight’s slate, lots of different plays to look at!!! So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/24 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/24 NHL Stack Report

  1. Edmonton Oilers 1
    Hyman – McDavid – Puljajarvi (FanDuel: $22,200 | DraftKings: $20,900)
We cant avoid the elephant in the 14-game slate. Namely, the top two scorers in the league going up against the worst team in the league this season. Arizona has one of the highest goals allowed in the league at 3.53 while Edmonton has the third highest goals per game in the league at 3.72. Unsurprisingly, the Oilers have one of the highest implied totals at 3.7 and for good reason since out of 14 games (including Washington vs Montreal) I can comfortably say that this is the biggest mismatch of the slate AND that the Oilers have very top heavy scoring with two players contributing to the majority of their points. (Great for Cash Games)
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Tyson Barrie (FD: $5,400 | DK: $5,500)
  2. Florida Panthers 2
    Verhaeghe – Lundell – Reinhart (FanDuel: $16,200 | DraftKings: $11,200)
Out of 14 games, it was very difficult to pick a second team and one with good value at that. But Florida’s second line jumped out to me early on during my slate analysis. Not only has Florida’s second line been on quite the hotstreak as of late but Florida also has the highest implied total on the slate at 3.8. Given Florida’s perfect 10-0-0 record at home, and the fact that they are coming into this game on a three game winning streak (this line scored in all those games) while the Flyers are coming into this game with a three game losing streak (given up 14 goals over those three games) its not hard to see why Vegas Odds are so high on the Panthers coming into tonights matchup. Despite their recent successes, this line has remained extremely affordable and other than perenial Calder candidate Anton Lundell, both Verhaeghe and Reinhart both see power play time. On a slate as large as this one with all the expensive top lines, you’ll need to utilize value lines such as FLA2 to round out your rosters tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): MacKenzie Weegar (FD: $4,900 | DK: $4,700)

    Honorable Mention(s): WAS1 (Ovechkin-Kuznetzov-Wilson), BOS1 (Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak), CAR1 (Teravainen-Aho-Jarvis), TOR1 (Marner-Matthews-Bunting), SJS1 (Meier-Couture-Balcers), CBJ1 (Bjorkstrand-Jenner-Nyquist)

(lots of games, lots of viable stacks)

11/24 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,000 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Frederik Andersen (FD: $8,400 | DK: $8,000)
Honorable Mention(s): James Reimer, Ilya Samsonov, Sergei Bobrovsky

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Jake Allen (FD: $7,000 | DK: $7,200)

11/24 NHL Wild Card Targets

Mikael Granlund (FD: $4,800 | DK: $5,000)
Despite his recent successes we haven’t seen a significant rise in Granlund’s price at all this season. This comes as a bit of a surprise as Granlund is coming into tonight with one of the hottest few of week stretches in his NHL career with 9 points over his last 6 games including an impressive 4-assist performance against the St. Louis Blues. Granlund has performed exceptionally well alongside veteran standout Matt Duchene, who is having a renaissance year this season as well as star defenseman Roman Josi who is truly the backbone of this Predators lineup. The Preds will also be up against Robin Lehner who has had a rocky GAA this season at 3.01 along with a poor 5-GA performance against the Blues two nights ago. This is very similar to a Seth Jarvis play tonight as we are truly trying to “strike the iron while it’s hot.” (ie It’s hard to say if this level of play is sustainable but Granlund is rising to the occasion at a reasonable price as of late and has the teammate support to help him succeed)
Honorable Mention(s): Frank Vatrano, Seth Jarvis, Timo Meier, Nazem Kadri, Joel Eriksson Ek, Tage Thompson, Troy Terry (lots of games, lots of viable Wild Card plays)

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

We’re back with a new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve had another great week of hockey and I’ve seen a lot of improvements and wins in the chat! Let’s continue our positive wins as of late with tonight’s slate! Tonight, we have a small 5/6-game slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/21 NHL slate, the slate begins at 6:00 pm ET on FanDuel and 7:00 pm ET on DraftKings. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/21 NHL Stack Report

  1. Los Angeles Kings 1
    Kempe – Kopitar – Arvidsson (FanDuel: $17,900 | DraftKings: $17,900)
Despite the fact that the Kings are on a bit of a skid, they’re facing off against the worst team in the NHL this season, plain and simple. Both teams are coming off games last night, LA who barely lost and Arizona who barely won. So both teams will most likely start their backups and will be equally as tired. Tonight’s game will be played in LA and for as bad as Arizona has been at home, they’ve been objectively worse on the road. Only winning a single game away from home, all season. In this matchup, pretty much every offensive stat favours the Kings as well as every defensive stat. Most notably, the Kings hold nearly a 10+ shot average per game over the Yotes, the Yotes allow over a goal more per game on average and the Yotes take over 13 penalty minutes a game which is the worst in the league. Unsurprisingly, the Kings have one of the highest implied totals on the slate at 3.5 while Arizona has one of the lowest at 2.2. This matchup should not be close and Los Angeles’ top line has really be leading the charge for them offensively.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Matt Roy (FD: $3,500 | DK: $4,400)
  2. Washington Capitals 1
    Ovechkin – Kuznetzov – Wilson (FanDuel: $22,900 | DraftKings: $22,200)
Honestly, the odds in this one dont make too much sense to me. I get that Washington played last night and Seattle didn’t but it doenst make sense that the Kraken are coming in as slight favourites. The Kraken have dropped their last six games, while the Caps have won their last two, including a 4-0 blanking of the Sharks last night. Washington’s offence has really been driven by Alex Ovechkin (not just in this season but in general) to a point where he’s yet again leading his team in both points and goals by a wide margin, posting 29 points in 18 games. His linemate Kuznetzov is not far behind at 21 points in 18 games, while Wilson also has a formidable 14 points in 18 game. They are all at the top of their team in scoring and are facing off against a goalie who has an abysmal 3.27 GAA and a .875 SV% in Philip Grubauer. I see Ovi padding his career stats in this matchup and would prioritize him in your builds tonight regardless of his price.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): John Carlson (FD: $6,400 | DK: $6,900)

    Honorable Mention(s): BOS1 (Pastrnak/Bergeron/Marchand), NYR1 (Krieder/Zibanejad/Goodrow) FanDuel, TOR1 (Ritchie, Matthews, Marner)

11/21 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Vitek Vanecek (FD: $7,900 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Joseph Woll (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,800)
    Honorable Mention(s): Jonathan Quick

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Karel Vejmelka (FD: $6,900 | DK: $7,300)
Honorable Mention(s): Dustin Tokarski (FanDuel), Philip Grubauer, Marc-Andre Fleury

11/21 NHL Wild Card Targets

JT Miller (FD: $7,200 | DK: $5,600)
JT Miller is continuing his crazy scoring pace this season as last game he notched an assist against the Jets for 11 points in his last 10 games. JT’s scoring has been extremely consistent over those games and tonight’s JT and the Canucks are up against one of the worse goalies in the league this season, Marc-Andre Fleury, who currently holds a GAA of 3.36, not to mention, the Blackhawks got pumped 5-2 by the Oilers last night. While the Canucks are coming into the home game with some rest. The Canucks implied total tonight is one of the higher ones on the slate at 3.3 and JT Miller will have an excellent shot at adding to his point totals tonight.
Honorable Mention(s): Alex Ovechkin, Brad Marchand, Charlie Coyle, Jordan Eberle, Seth Jones

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

11/17 NHL Stack Report

  1. Colorado Avalanche 2
    Burakovsky – Kadri – Nichushkin (FanDuel: $14,800 | DraftKings: $13,600)
Going with the second line is a little different but based on their recent performances its really hard to ignore them. A good case could be made for going with Colorado’s top line despite the face that they’re missing a key player but there’s a better argument to play Colorado’s second line. Not only have they been performing better than the top line as of late but they are also cheaper. Kadri is on a six game game point streak, Burakovsky is on a five game point streak, and with Nichushkin only playing three games this season he has a three game point streak. Not bad, especially when compared to Colorado’s top line who has been a little cold as of late. Tonight they’ll be up against the Vancouver Canucks in what is most likely the best matchup of the slate. They have the highest implied goal total at 3.4, Vancouver is on a four game skid and the Canucks goalie Thatcher Demko has been abysmal this season giving up 3.33 goals per game and registering a sub .900 SV% In summation, i’ve been impressed with the recent performances of Colorado’s second line and their price allows you to fill in the rest of your line with high-priced studs.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Sam Girard (FD: $4,700 | DK: $3,800)
  2. Washington Capitals 1
    Ovechkin – Kuznetzov – Wilson (FanDuel: $23,200 | DraftKings: $21,800)
This line will most likely be one of the highest owned on the entire slate. Not only have they been performing extremly well but there aren’t many other “pay up” spots that seem quite as intriguing as Colorado’s top line is missing their top centre Nathan MacKinnon. The Kings have generally been overperforming based on their results from last season but the Capitals and specifically this top line should hold a decided advantage over them. Washington is also coming in at one of the higher implied totals on the slate at 2.9 and Ovi along with his linemates are all among the top of their team in points and average around 20-21 minutes of ice time per game, including top power play time.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): John Carlson (FD: $6,400 | DK: $6,700)

    Honorable Mention(s): SEA1 (Eberle/Wennberg/Schwartz), CHI1 (DeBrincat/Dach/Kane)

11/17 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Ilya Samsonov (FD: $8,300 | DK: $7,800)
  2. Phillip Grubauer (FD: $7,800 | DK: $7,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): Darcy Kuemper

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Marc-Andre Fleury (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,500)

11/17 NHL Wild Card Targets

JT Miller (FD: $7,200 | DK: $5,200)
Despite the Canucks shaky start to the season, JT Miller has been a consistent bright spot which has carried the team to their occasional success while giving 100% in every game. JT Miller is now on an 8-game point streak and has regularly logged over 20 minutes of ice time per game. He works in a two-man (or three-man) stack with either Quinn Huges or Nils Hoglander (or both). On DraftKings, you’ll also get a nice discount on the crafty forward. Overall, the Canucks have a tough matchup against the Avalanche but you can’t go wrong with JT Miller.
Honorable Mention(s): Logan O’Connor, Alex Iafallo

11/14 NHL Stack Report

  1. Boston Bruins 1
    Pastrnak – Bergeron – Marchand (FanDuel: $25,500 | DraftKings: $24,100)
There are some decent top priced options on tonight’s slate such as Ovechkin and WAS1 or McDavid/Draisaitl and EDM PP1 but with the way today’s slate has shaped up, there is really no other option for our top line than the Boston Bruins. Season-over-season, this Bruins top line has been one of the most consistent and one of the most productive in the NHL. Despite the domination we usually see out of Edmonton, Boston’s matchup today is just too good to ignore. The Bruins are coming up at home against their division rivals in the Montreal Canadiens, who played to a 3-2 overtime loss against the Detroit Red Wings last night. Having played last night, Montreal is turning to a goaltender who has really struggled to find his footing this season and hasnt been given much support from the Montreal defence to truly thrive. Montembault is giving up 3.69 goals a game and is putting up an abysmal .885 SV%. With Boston’s impressive 5-1-0 record at home, joined with the highest implied total of the slate (3.4), the fact that Montreal is starting their backup goalie and are coming in after an away OT loss for an abysmal 1-5-1 record on the road. I would heavily prioritize Boston’s top line in your builds tonight. (Prioritize Marchand)
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Charlie McAvoy (FD: $6,200 | DK: $5,800)
  2. Anaheim Ducks 1
    Terry – Getzlaf – Henrique (FanDuel: $18,000 | DraftKings: $16,800)
This line has continued to pleasantly surprise me as the season goes on and are in large part the reason why Anaheim is on their current 6 game win streak. Tonight, they’re up against a team (in Anaheim) who is on a downward trend in the Vancouver Canucks who have dropped their last 3 games. Like the Montreal Canadiens, the Vancouver Canucks also played last night and were put through the absolute ringer as they were tagged for 7 goals against in a 7-4 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. That means the Canucks will most likely be starting backup goalie Jaroslav Halak between the pipes for tonight’s matchup. Halak doesnt have the worst stats and has been serviceable throughout the years. However, he really has no help in the form of the Vancouver Canucks defense which in no large part contributes to his winless season thus far. Vancouver allows an average three goals per game and has one of the worst penalty kill percentages in the league at 62.8%. This will come as welcome news to the Ducks who are near the top of the league in goals scored per game at 3.47 and in power play percentage at 26.5%. On top of that, this lines top performers such as Troy Terry has recored a point in every game hes played since October 13th, for a 13-game point streak. His linemates, Getzlaf and Henrique are not far behind as all four players (inc. defenseman Shattenkirk) round out the top scorers for Anaheim. In addition, Anaheim’s top line sees anywhere from 17-19 minutes a game with all three seeing powerplay time. (Getlzaf PP1, Henrique-Terry PP2) All of this, coupled with an implied total of 3 goals, means it should be no surprise that Anaheim is our salary friendly line of the night
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Kevin Shattenkirk (or Cam Fowler as a salary saver) (FD: $4,900 | DK: $6,100)

    Honorable Mention(s): EDM PP1 (McDavid/Draisaitl/Nugent-Hopkins), WAS1 (Wilson/Kuznetzov/Ovechkin)

11/14 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. John Gibson (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Linus Ullmark (FD: $8,600 | DK: $8,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Vitek Vanacek

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Sam Montembault (FD: $6,800 | DK: $7,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alexandar Georgiev

11/14 NHL Wild Card Targets

Dawson Mercer (FD: $4,500 | DK: $3,800)
This play is a really outside-the-box salary saver but has definitely deserved a spot on the Wild Card Targets. Mercer has had some positive stretches to start the season but none have been more impressive than his last three where he has put together a total of 5 points (2G, 3A) while averaging 15 minutes of ice time a game. Mercer has been consistent in getting pucks to the net and tonight will be up against the Rangers’ backup goalie Georgiev, who has had a very rough start to his 2021-22 season, posting an abysmal 4.11 GAA along with a .865 SV%. With all the expensive plays leading tonight’s slate, its value wild cards like Mercer, which will help you complete your lineups tonight! Mercer stacks well with winger Andreas Johnsson as the pair lead their team in points, as well as defenseman Dougie Hamilton, who sees plenty of ice-time and correlates with Mercer on New Jersey’s top power-play unit. (Also stackable with Jesper Bratt if the extra salary is a necessity)
Honorable Mention(s): Jordan Kyrou-Pavel Buchnevich, Robert Thomas, Evan Rodrigues, Kailer Yamamoto, Adam Fox

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! I’ve seen a lot of great activity in the chat and a lot of strong finishes as well! Let’s continue our positive trend tonight. We have a small 3-gamer for tonight’s slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/10 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:30 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/10 NHL Stack Report

  1. Dallas Stars 1
    Benn – Seguin – Radulov (FanDuel: $16,800 | DraftKings: $15,200)
Dallas is coming into tonight as the favourite and also are carrying a high implied total at 3.1. Given how infrequently goals are coming outside of the top line, its safe to say that if Dallas is going to breakthrough tonight the top line will be involved. All the members of this line see power play time and they’ll be back in Dallas tonight after a long west coast trip. Centering this line is Tyler Seguin, he is coming into this game with four points over his last three games and the line itself is seeing around 18 minutes a game. Bottom line, in Dallas top line we are getting a star studded line for a discounted price. There are some decent spots on both sides of this game and Dallas’ top line is one to strongly consider.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Miro Heiskanen (Ryan Suter as a Salary Saver) (FD: $6,300 | DK: $6,000)
  2. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
    Bunting – Matthews – Nylander (FanDuel: $20,900 | DraftKings: $20,900)
It’s always hard to predict exactly how the Leafs will perform but as of late we have seen the Leafs come out on top in most occassions. The Leafs have won 5 of their last 6 and Auston Matthews has really found his scoring touch as of late with three of his last four games being multipoint games. The reigning Rocket Richard winner and co. will be up against the Flyers who may have a pretty significant absence in Ryan Ellis from their blue line. On top of that, the Flyers goaltender Carter Hart has been a bit of a cause for concern as aside from a shutout against the aformentioned Yotes, he’s been steadily allowing 3 goals against per game. Vegas odds are seeing this one in Toronto’s favour and are rightly giving them an implied total of 3.2. This will be a close matchup but Toronto’s top line can and will be the difference tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,200 | DK: $6,100)

    Honorable Mention(s): NSH2 (Duchene-Granlund-Kunin) MIN1 (Zuccarello-Gaudreau – Kaprizov)

11/10 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Cam Talbot (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,100)
  2. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,600 | DK: $7,800)
    Honorable Mention(s): Juuse Saros

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Karel Vejmelka (FD: $6,900 | DK: $7,300)

11/10 NHL Wild Card Targets

Ryan Hartman (FD: $4,400 | DK: $4,000)
Hartman has been an interesting player to watch as of late, over his last five games he’s put up five points including 2 points in his last game against the New York Islanders, a team regarded for their strong defence. Tonight, Hartman and the Wild will be up against the Coyotes, a team not well regarded for their defence at all. Arizona is allowing an average of 4 goals a game and allowing around 32 shots on goal per game. All great stats for one of Minnesota’s hotter forwards coming into tonight’s matchup. To that point, Hartman has also really upped his shot output averaging 4 shots on goal over his last five games. So, even without a goal, Hartman can still help your line at his price. He’s also been seeing anywhere from 18 to 20 minutes a game along with time on Minnesota’s second power-play unit. (Not to mention, Minnesota has the highest implied total on the slate at 3.3)

We’re back with a new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! Hockey season is now well and truly underway and I am so excited that we get to take on this slate together! Let’s continue our positive trends as of late! Tonight, we have a small 5-game slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/7 NHL slate, the slate begins at 6:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/7 NHL Stack Report

  1. New York Islanders 2
    Beauvilier – Nelson – Palmieri (FanDuel: $14,600 | DraftKings: $17,100)
We’re starting off the article with a rather under the radar pick. To their credit, the Islanders second line has been performing extremely well to start the season. Both Nelson and Beauvilier are top of their team in scoring with Nelson scoring at a point per game pace. Coming into tonight, theyre coming up against a Minnesota Wild side who played in an intense 5-4 Shootout win against the Pittsburgh Penguins. That was a very physically taxing game and it also means that Kaapo Kahkonen gets the start. Kahkonen looked awful in his season debut letting in five goals against the Nashville Predators. If Nelson and the Islanders can jump on Kahkonen early, this game can really get away from the Wild. On top of that, Minnesota is also allowing 3.33 goals against per game and is near the bottom of the league in both penalty minutes per game and penalty kill percentage.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Noah Dobson (FD: $4,200 | DK: $3,400)
  2. Detroit Red Wings 1
    Bertuzzi – Suter (possibly Larkin) – Raymond (FanDuel: $13,200 | DraftKings: $15,100)
If Larkin remains out of tonight’s matchup, this line will be one of the best value plays of the slate as each player is huge bargain. (Especially, Tyler Bertuzzi on FanDuel) The addition of Pius Suter to the top line also looked excellent as he registered two points in the Red Wings 4-3 overtime win against the Buffalo Sabres. There are no superstar lines in tonights slate (such as Edmonton’s top line or Colorado’s top line) but the Red Wings top line is one of the more complete and consistent lines on the slate. On top of that, the Wings are at home against a Golden Knights team who has also played last night and has struggled to find consistency to start the season.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Moritz Seider (FD: $4,200 | DK: $4,800)

    Honorable Mention(s): STL2 (Kyrou/Thomas/Tarasenko), ANH1 (Henrique/Getzlaf/Terry)

11/7 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Semyon Varlamov (FD: $7,800 | DK: $7,500)
  2. Juuse Saros (FD: $7,500 | DK: $7,700)
Honorable Mention(s): Brayden Holtby, Jordan Binnington

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Kaapo Kahkonen (FD: $8,100 | DK: $7,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): Marc-Andre Fleury

11/7 NHL Wild Card Targets

Matt Duchene (FD: $5,600 | DK: $5,400)
Duchene has struggled to find his footing in the NHL since his time with the Colorado Avalanche but as of late he has been able to carve out a spot as a reliable scorer with the Nashville Predators. As of late, he has really turned it on for them as well. Over his last three games, he has put up three goals and two assists for five points. Tonight, he’ll be going up against a team that is on quite the slide at the moment, the Chicago Blackhawks. This season, Chicago has struggled with questionable goaltending and defence as they only have one win on the season thus far and give up an average of nearly four goals a game (3.92). Their starting goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has not performed well this season and coming in tonight against a hot Matt Duchene and co. it’s hard to see him doing much better tonight. Duchene works well in a two-man stack with star defenseman Roman Josi (Josi is my CASH LOCK of the slate).
Honorable Mention(s): Thomas, Bertuzzi (FanDuel), Robertson, Smith, P. Kane

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Brock Nelson

Winger Vladimir Tarasenko

Defence Roman Josi (CASH LOCK)

Goalie Semyon Varlamov

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve seen lots of success as of late, So let’s continue our positive trend tonight. We have a small 4-gamer for tonight’s slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 11/3 NHL slate, the slate begins at 8:30 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

11/3 NHL Stack Report

  1. Edmonton Oilers 1
    Hyman – McDavid – Puljajarvi (FanDuel: $22,400 | DraftKings: $20,300)
CASH LOCK: Again, its hard to see any way to not play this line in cash considering the small slate and their performances as of late. Even on an off night for the top line in their last game against the Seattle Kraken, McDavid and Hyman still both managed to register a point en route to their 5-2 win. Tonight they are facing off agaisnt a Predators lineup who are starting a rookie goaltender behind some questionable defense. On top of that, the Oilers are once again coming in with the highest implied total on the slate at 3.5 xGoals. There are plenty of top lines you can target for this slate (ie CAR2 or COL1) but for cash I wouldnt stray far away from Edmonton’s top line.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Evan Bouchard (FD: $5,500 | DK: $4,900)
  2. Chicago Blackhawks PP1
    Kane – Toews – Jones (FanDuel: $20,000 | DraftKings: $16,200)
Chicago’s lines were uncomfortably fluid last game as Patrick Kane came back from COVID Protocol. Boy did he ever come back, in his first game back from a 10-day layoff Patty managed to put up a hat trick along with an assist for a four point night. They’re going up against a much stronger team in the Carolina Hurricanes but with Kane back in their lines, they look like a rejuvenated group. Despite the line inconsistency, we saw Kane, Toews and Jones gather a lot of ice time together in their 5-1 route of the Senators. On top of that, they can offer some salary relief when stacking the Edmonton Oilers or the Carolina Hurricanes. I would be hard pressed to see Chicago sneak out a win here but when it comes to DFS production, they can get at Freddy for a few goals. (Wingers like Hagel or Kubalik can be used to offset some of the cost of this line)

    Honorable Mention(s): CAR3 (Svechnikov-Staal-Fast), COL1 (Compher-MacKinnon-Landeskog)

11/3 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Elvis Merzlikins (FD: $7,300 | DK: $7,300)
  2. Frederik Andersen (FD: $8,500 | DK: $7,900)
Honorable Mention(s): Calvin Peterson, Jordan Binnington

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Connor Ingram (FD: $6,500 | DK: $7,400)

11/3 NHL Wild Card Targets

Tony DeAngelo (FD: $5,300 | DK: $5,200)
Tony has seemed to pick up right where he left off after his career year with the Rangers back in 2019, as one of the top defensemen for the Hurricanes following the departure of Dougie Hamilton, Tony has filled in really well towards the more recent side of the Canes red hot start to the season. In his last three games, DeAngelo has put together two goals and three assists for five points, three of which (1 G, 2 A) came against the Canes opponent tonight in the Blackhawks. Tony has also seen an upgrade to the Canes top power play and remains relatively affordable despite his recent success.
Honorable Mention(s): Duncan Keith, JT Compher, Brandon Hagel, Patrik Laine, Vladimir Tarasenko

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Connor McDavid

Winger Zach Hyman

Defence Tony DeAngelo

Goalie Elvis Merzlikins

We’re back with a new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! I love seeing the high activity in the discord chat and the winning screenshots that have been posted lately, especially after the last Between the Benches article! Let’s continue our positive trend tonight. We have a small 4-gamer for tonight’s slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 10/31 NHL slate, the slate begins at 4:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

10/31 NHL Stack Report

  1. New York Rangers Power Play 1
    Panarin – Zibanejad – Fox (FanDuel: $22,300 | DraftKings: $21,700)
CASH LOCK: This is the top line on the slate and theyre not even really a complete line. I know, it doesnt make a lot of sense but these three are absolute savages and have far and away the best matchup of the slate against the expansion Seattle Kraken. As of late, Chris Kreider (also on this top power play, salary saving substitute for Panarin) has seen most of the Rangers goal scoring but the three members of this top of this line have kept up with Kreider on points through their assists and have all outpaced him in average ice time. Over the past two seasons we saw what these three were truly capable of as last season Panarin finished top 15 in the scoring race (finishing fourth the year before), while Zibanejad finished top 15 in total league goals (finishing fifth the year before). Adam Fox took home Norris Trophy honours as the best defenseman in the league finishing second in defenseman scoring behind Tyson Barrie. When it comes to this slate, there are not a lot of other top performing options meaning in cash games you will need these three to keep up with the rest of the pack. For cash games they are the main line of the slate.
  2. Buffalo Sabres 2
    Asplund – Thompson – Olofsson (FanDuel: $13,800 | DraftKings: $15,200)
This line just cant be stopped. On top of the fact that they are up against a lacklustre defense (their top defenseman Drew Doughty is injured) with an aging goalie, this line has produced tremendous numbers and have been largely responsible for Buffalo’s surprising run of form. Led by Victor Olofsson (2 G and 2 A in last two games, point per game this season), this line has ended up seeing the lion’s share of playing time while also coming together on Buffalo’s top line power play. This line also provides some needed salary relief considering how costly the top line of this article is. Buffalo is also coming into tonight really fresh with their last game taking place on the 28th compared to the LA Kings who are on the second half of a back to back. (Which is why Quick is playing in the first place)
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Rasmus Dahlin (FD: $4,600 | DK: $5,300)

    Honorable Mention(s): LAK1 (Brown/Kopitar/Arvidsson), CBJ2 (Bjorkstrand/Roslovic/ G. Hofmann)

10/31 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Igor Shesterkin (FD: $8,000 | DK: $7,700)
  2. Elvis Merzlikins (FD: $7,400 | DK: $7,500)
    Honorable Mention(s): Dustin Tokarski

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Scott Wedgewood (FD: $6,800 | DK: $7,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): Philipp Grubauer

10/31 NHL Wild Card Targets

Anaheim Ducks 1 (FD: $13,100 | DK: $14,900)
Usually, I’d have a player in this section but today is a little different as Anaheim’s top line is coming into this slate on absolute fire and rather than listing them off individually as wild cards, I figured it would make more sense to group them in their line. The risk factor is that their pace is so high that it’s hard to tell when or if they will see any regression. For example, Troy Terry has notched points in his last seven games while his linemates (Ryan Getzlaf, Adam Henrique) have produced similar numbers with a little less consistency. This line is extremely affordable and the Ducks are up against a Montreal side who have really had trouble finding their footing to start the season, while their goalie Jake Allen is plagued with inconsistency issues. Getzlaf and Terry play on Anaheim’s top power-play unit while Henrique is on the second power-play unit. The best defenseman to stack this line with is Kevin Shattenkirk.
Honorable Mention(s): Mike Hoffman, Josh Anderson, Hayden Fleury, Ryan Graves (FanDuel)

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Mika Zibanejad

Winger Victor Olofsson

Defence Dougie Hamilton

Goalie Igor Shesterkin

Let’s continue our positive trend tonight. We have a small 5-gamer for tonight’s slate. So, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 10/27 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

10/27 NHL Stack Report

  1. Edmonton Oilers 1
    Hyman – McDavid – Puljajarvi (FanDuel: $21,300 | DraftKings: $20,000)
CASH LOCK: It has been literally impossible to miss what this line has been able to do and of course I am referring to Edmonton’s top line. This is all due in part to McDavid and his level of play that is just miles ahead of everyone else. No matter who he is paired with in this game, they will perform well, so much so, that his two linemates were not that expensive before playing alongside him. Now that they have a few games under their belts with sky high point totals their prices have inevitably rised but not too much that takes away their value. Both Hyman and Puljajarvi compliment McDavid’s game very well and coming into tonight against a Philadelphia side who sits near the bottom of the league with their star defender (Ryan Ellis) on the sidelines, it’ll be really hard to avoid these guys tonight
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Tyson Barrie (Evan Bouchard for a Salary Saver) (FD: $5,500 | DK: $4,900)
  2. Dallas Stars 4
    Peterson – Seguin – Faksa (FanDuel: $14,500 | DraftKings: $11,000)
I cannot even explain how much I dislike these Dallas lines from a fantasy perspective. All of Dallas’ top players are on different lines and the ones that are together have been extremly inconsistent. However, when it comes to their fourth line which for some reason includes their best player (Tyler Seguin) I see some serious potential. There is some disagreement on who will be on the wings for Seguin tonight but the fantasy sites have rookie Peterson and Faksa alongside him, Faksa in particular has performed respectably this season, enough so that I dont mind a small stack pairing the two. Furthermore, Dallas will be coming into tonight against a Vegas team who is starting their weak(er) goalie, in Dallas, against a team on the second half of a back to back, with many of their top stars still on the sidelines. I have to take a piece of Dallas in that matchup. (FanDuel listed all three as Centres so they dont stack too well as a full line)
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Miro Heiskanen (FD: $6,200 | DK: $5,100)

Honorable Mention(s): WAS1 (Wilson, Kuznetzov, Ovechkin), BOS1 (Marchand, Bergeron, Pastrnak), FLA2 (Huberdeau, Bennett, Tippett)

10/27 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Braden Holtby (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,700)
  2. Vitek Vanacek (FD: $8,300 | DK: $8,300)
    Honorable Mention(s): Bobrovsky, Koskinen

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Laurent Brossoit (FD: $7,500 | DK: $7,700)

10/27 NHL Wild Card Targets

DraftKings

Joel Farabee (FD: $5,900 | DK: $4,700)
Lessons have not been learned, Farabee’s price has only gone up $300 on DraftKings since the last time he was a Wild Card Target (He proceeded to get a goal and an assist along with 5 shots). This is still below the season start price of $5,100 despite having three goals and three assists for six points in four games. I can’t really see the Flyers winning this game on account of coming up against one of the hottest teams in the league in their own barn, so tread lightly with Farabee but it is really hard to ignore his price.

FanDuel

Tyler Bertuzzi (FD: $5,000 | DK: $6,900)
His price makes NO sense. DraftKings rightfully has Bertuzzi as the fourth-highest-priced winger on the slate, while FanDuel put him at a bargain bin price. There is no way I am passing on Bertuzzi given the start he has had this season. In just five regular-season games Bertuzzi has put together six goals and three assists for nine points and this includes the game where the Wings were shut out by the Flames. On top of this misprice, the line in general is fairly affordable. Larkin is on the higher end but rookie winger Raymond (coming off a hattrick) and rookie defenseman Moritz Seider are both extremely affordable.
Honorable Mention(s): Robertson (if he plays, DK Only), Bouchard, Bunting, Pavelski (his DK price of 2,600 is unacceptable), Reinhart (DK Only)

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Connor McDavid

Winger Alex Ovechkin

Defence Miro Heiskanen

Goalie Braden Holtby
