10/3 MLB DFS Two-Game Postseason Slate and Showdown Picks

We’re into the exciting MLB postseason and looking at some 10/3 MLB DFS picks for the two-game slate and featured Showdown on DraftKings (8:37 EST). Join us as we detail some strategies for lineup construction and taking down the big cash prize.

10/3 DFS Two-Game Slate (DK & FD)

The games: St. Louis Cardinals at Atlanta Braves (5:02 p.m. EST) & Washington Nationals at Los Angeles Dodgers (8:37 p.m. EST)

10/3 DFS SP General Strategy

The one-game playoffs are over, so SP1s are much more important, could rack up some big-time points and will set the tone for the entire roster construction. There’s plenty of SP2 value here.

SP1: Walker Buehler, LAD vs. WAS (DK $9,600, FD $10,200)

The pricing is fair on both sites considering Buehler’sceiling, although he’ll have a shorter leash than the regular season. Still –the 29.2 K% stands out as a number we can latch onto and invest in, along withthe 12.2% HR/FB rate. The young ace has been the Dodgers’ most consistentstarter in 2019 and is your best bet at SP1. Ownership will be massive and I’llmake sure to leave him out of 1-2/10 GPP lineups, but we can find ways todifferentiate later.

SP2: Dallas Keuchel, ATL vs. STL (DK $6,800, FD $8,100)

I’m not interested in Miles Mikolas and the small discount on FD, and he’s just too risky against the Braves lineup at their home park in Atlanta. I may slap in both Keuchel and Mikolas in the aforementioned 1-2/10 lineups on DK and stack the biggest bats from the hitting options below, but Keuchel’s postseason record (4-2, 3.31 ERA in nine starts and 10 total appearances) is something I’m drawn to. Keuchel’s .219 BAA and 3.38 SIERA in the postseason further solidify my interest.

10/3 DFS Hitters

10/3 DFS C: Yadier Molina, STL (DK $3,800, FD $2,700)

You’re paying for experience (343 postseason plate appearances) and the highest floor of the available catchers. I’m probably not playing catchers on FD but you get a real discount with Molina. Brian McCann ($3,400 on DK) has legit home run upside but poor postseason numbers in 126 plate appearances (.170/.254/.304 slash). Will Smith is neutralized a bit by LHPs and Kurt Suzuki is a contrarian dart throw for large-field GPPs.

10/3 DFS 1B: Cody Bellinger, LAD (DK $5,000)

The price is right and he’s got the biggest upside excluding Paul Goldschmidt, who might get pretty chalky. I’m not worried about lefty-lefty and Corbin may not last long. Bellinger is an OF on FD and OF eligible on DK. Plug him in there. Pivot: Freddie Freeman, ATL (DK $4,700, FD $4,200). I’m concerned about the bone spur in his elbow and may choose to avoid him here. Freddie is risky but has a favorable matchup against Mikolas.

10/3 DFS 2B: Ozzie Albies, ATL (DK $4,500, FD $3,700)

Tommy Edman ($5,300 on DK) is 2B/3B eligible on DK and makes for an interesting pivot against the LHP, but I like Albies hitting in the 2-spot here despite his splits favoring him versus lefties. If he’s chalky, I’ll look to use the more expensive Edman. Pivots: Edman, Asdrubal Cabrera

10/3 DFS 3B: Justin Turner, LAD (DK $3,900, FD $3,200)

The 34-year-old is nursing a tight back, but he’s assured us he will play in Game 1 and is coming off a solid season where he tied his career high with 27 homers – while driving in 67 runs and slashing .290/.372/.509 in 135 games. I’m taking the plunge and hoping for low ownership because of the back.

10/3 DFS SS: Chris Taylor, LAD (DK $3,600)

Taylor is a relatively cheap OF on FD ($2,800) but the price on Dk is solid too. Remember when this guy just couldn’t get it going early in the season? After his dreadful April when he slashed .171/.263/.257, Taylor settled in, and he’s got plenty of postseason experience with a 139 wRC+ in 30 games.

10/3 DFS OF: Kike Hernandez (DK $3,300)

Hernandez is a $2,900 second baseman on FD, but he’s just $3,300 on Dk and the price can get you a full Dodgers stack without too much trouble. He kills southpaws (career 123 wRC+ and .213 ISO vs. LHPs) and he’s got five HRs in 103 postseason plate appearances. Pivot: Matt Joyce

10/3 DFS OF: Juan Soto (DK $4,100, FD $3,800)

I’m buying Soto despite the tough matchup, planning on him coming up in a big spot late in the game, and delivering. Soto showed us something in the Wild Card game the small sample 0-for-5 BvP against Buehler will keep his ownership low. The price is cheap and if he fits, I’ll use him. Pivots: Marcell Ozuna, Ronald Acuna

10/3 DFS OF: A.J. Pollock, LAD (DK $3,700, FD $3,400)

He rounds out my Dodgers stack on DK and makes sense as a third outfielder on FD. Pollock sports a blistering 136 wRC+ against LHPs and a 154 wRC+ at home vs. LHPs. Pivot: Dexter Fowler

10/3 DFS FeaturedShowdown (8:37 p.m. on DK)

I’ll have some shares with Buehler as CPT and a few inexpensivebats and bench players (Gavin Lux, Brian Dozier are both viable bench optionsin large-field Showdown GPPs), but the majority of lineups will feature Pollock,Turner, Taylor and Hernandez at CPT with shares of Soto, Howie Kendrick, VictorRobles and Cabrera for the Nats.

We’ve got a split slate for 9/19 DFS: DraftKings has a six-game slate that starts at 6:35, while FanDuel is excluding the Angels-Yankees again and starting a four-gamer at 7:05. We’re focusing on three stacks and just a couple contrarian builds, as well as our usual buffet of hitters at every position. Let’s get rolling, because the Yanks and Twins will get you wins!

9/19 DFS Hitting Stacks ofthe Day

Minnesota Twins vs. Mike Montgomery

The Twins were a total dud on Wednesday night against the fullWhite Sox bullpen, scoring just one run on three hits across nine boringinnings. Today is a great day for a rebound, as the Royals left-hander can beexposed by hitters from both sides of the plate. Montgomery has been a reversesplits pitcher this season, yielding an amusing .443/.464/.709 slash toopposing LHBs. Over the course of his whole career, the disparity isn’t as noticeable.I like all the Twins here, since they brutalize lefties (.287/.353/.523 slash,.363 wOBA and a 127 wRC+) and will be starting my stacks with Eddie Rosario,Nelson Cruz and Mitch Garver (who’s an insane $5,600 on DK). Add in Miguel Sanoor C.J. Cron on FD and Jorge Polanco on DK.

New York Yankees vs. Andrew Heaney (DK)

I was little concerned about the Yankees rolling out an unorthodoxlineup with the division clinched, but Tampa came back and beat the Dodgers! They’llbe hungry for their 100^th win of the season and thirsty forchampagne on their home turf, but they’ll be facing a left-hander who’s pitchedquite well in 2019. Their salaries are a little low because of the matchup, butHeaney isn’t enough to keep me off them. I’ll be using a lot of Mike Clevinger withMasahiro Tanaka/Kyle Gibson/Drew Verhagen, so there will be plenty of combosthat will allow me to stack D.J. LeMahieu ($4,600), Gleyber Torres ($4,700), AaronJudge ($4,500), Gio Urshela ($4,300) and Luke Voit ($4,400) though I’ll only begrabbing a few shares of Giancarlo Stanton at his outrageous price ($5,400)

Toronto Blue Jays at Gabriel Ynoa

I said Tuesday the Blue Jays would be a sneaky stack, and CavanBiggio responded by hitting for the cycle. They’re not as sneaky this timearound, since they battled with Baltimore last night as the teams combined for21 runs. Ynoa is 1-8 with a 5.74 ERA and 1.40 WHIP, and he’s given up 25 homeruns in just 100.1 IP. All the usual suspects make sense here, with the 1-5hitters as the priority bats.

9/19 DFS HittingCatcher

Austin Romine, NYY vs. LAA

DK ($3,600)

Pay $2,000 more for Mitch Garver on DK if you want, but if youwant some cheap exposure to the Yankees, blend Romine into your Yankees stacks.He’s slashing .281/.312/.438 this season and sports an impressive .172 ISO vs.LHPsthis season. Romine isn’t the most exciting option, but we need to save a littleit of salary somewhere, and if we’re not paying way up or Garver, Romine makessense.

9/19 DFS Hitting FirstBaseman

Rowdy Tellez or JustinSmoak, TOR at BAL

DK (both$3,900) FD ($2,600/$2,700)

Since Tellez sat on Tuesday and ruined all my work recommendinghim, I’ll bring you up to speed: Rowdy scored three runs on Wednesday and isstill destroying right-handed pitching (.209 ISO this season). It’s usuallyeither him or Justin Smoak in the lineup, and I like them both in Baltimore’sbandbox. Smoak boasts a .231 ISO vs. RHPs in 2019.

9/19 DFS Hitting SecondBaseman

Cavan Biggio, TOR at BAL

DK ($5.300) FD($3,900)

Biggio hit for the cycle on Tuesday and is the one Jays bat I wantin all my GPP lineups. I touted is speed and power abilities and he respondedby doing what five-tool platers do – mashing and slashing. Biggio is 14-for-29 overhis last seven games with 133 DK points over that span (19 FPPG). And his .112wRC+ this season is in the top 10 among 2B.

9/19 DFS Hitting ThirdBaseman

D.J. LeMahieu, NYY vs. LAA

(DK $4,600)

LeMahieu is having an MVP-caliber season for the Yankeeswith a wRC+ of 136 and a torrid slash line of .329/.378/.515. He’s ben their steadiestplayer and has flashed impressive power (.186 ISO) against both LHPs and RHPs. His.402 wOBA and 154 wRC+ in Yankee Stadium is tops on the team, and he’ll be inmost of my lineups tonight.

9/19 DFSHitting Shortstop

Gleyber Torres, NYY vs. LAA

DK ($4,700)

Lindor was a complete disappointment Tuesday, so I’ll be goingback to him in about 2/10 lineups, but the rest of them will have shares of Torresat SS or 2B, where he’s also eligible. Torres has a .255 ISO, .353 OBP, .369wOBA and 132 wRC+ vs. LHPs in 2019, and he’s now hitting in the heart of the Yankeeslineup.

9/19 DFS HittingOutfielders

Eddie Rosario, MIN vs. KC

DK ($4,800) FD($3,200)

You can’t keep a great hitter down for long, and Rosario(.281/.313/.453 slash vs. LHPs in 2019) is a solid GPP play because he’ll onlybe in about half of the Twins stacks because he’s a lefty bat against a southpaw– a great opportunity against a guy like Montgomery. The Royals starter mightget pulled for a righty after he gets lit up by these Twins, and then your shortsightedDFS opponents will be kicking themselves for not having more exposure to Rosario’s.378 xwOBA against RHPs since 2018.

Aaron Judge, NYY vs. LAA

DK($4,500)

It’s hard to believe this price on Judge, who went deep again onWednesday, but it’s something I’ll be taking advantage of in cash games andGPPS alike. Judge brutalizes lefties, with a .461 wOBA in 120 PA this season,including .347/.467/.663 slash and 8 homers. He hits the ball as hard as anyonewho’s ever played the game, as he sits in the 100^th percentile forExit Velocity and Hard Hit %. Get him in there – he’s primed for a monster day.

Marcell Ozuna, STL vs. CHC

DK ($4,200) FD($3,700)

Ozuna has been relatively quiet lately, so he’s really cheap. Healso has .382 xwOBA this year and has been a much better road hitter this seasonwith a .262/.336/.519 slash and 15 of his 28 HRs in away games. Ozuna also ranksin the 93th percentile for Exit Velocity and 98^th percentile forHard Hit % — and makes for a nice contrarian play vs. a capable hurler in Kyle Hendricks.

C: Reese McGuire ($3,900 DK, $2,800 FD), Mitch Garver ($5,600 DK,$3,000 FD)

We’ve got a loaded 14-game 7:05 EST main slate for MLB 9/17 DFS – one that we’ve got some high game totals for, including another big-time stack at Coors. The lineups get unstable toward the end of the year, but that just gives us more opportunities to embrace the variance and make it fun on this enormous slate.

9/17 DFS Hitting Stacks of the Day

NewYork Mets at Tim Melville (NYM at COL)

The Mets are expensive but have the highest implied total on the slate. Last night they scored just four runs in Coors but on Tuesday get to face Melville, who’s been torched in his three home starts (.516 xwOBA, 9.00 ERA, 6.31 xFIP). I’ll be applying a liberal smattering of Mets hitters in most of my lineups, with most of my exposure coming with the first five hitters: Brandon Nimmo, Jeff McNeil, Michael Conforto, Robinson Cano and Pete Alonso. Wilson Ramos is a very affordable $2,900 on FD as well, where he can be used in one of two spots.

Boston Red Sox vs. Logan Webb (BOS vs. SF)

The Sox may be missing Mookie Betts (foot) but they’re still a powerful bunch of bats in a hitter’s park. Logan Webb has been tuned up for a .400 xwOBA vs. RHP) during his short time in the Majors, and he’s not going to like the ballpark shift from Oracle. The usual suspects (Rafael Devers, Xander Bogaerts, J.D. Martinez and Andrew Benintendi) are all $5,000 or under on DK, and Mitch Moreland is just $4,200.

Toronto Blue Jays at Dylan Bundy/Chandler Shepherd

The Blue Jays are a sneaky stack in a slate with Coors Field on the docket, and they’ll be playing in Baltimore, where the homers fly out and the Orioles pitching staff has reached a new nadir in allowing the long ball. I’m stacking the 1-5 with occasional shares of Randal Grichuk ($4,300 DK) and Billy McKinney ($3,300 DK).

Cleveland Indians vs. John Schreiber/Spencer Turnbull (CLE vs.DET)

The Indians are underpriced for the matchup on this 9/17 DFS slate, whether it’s against Schreiber (the possible opener) or Turnbull, who’s really struggled this season (3-15 in 27 starts with a 4.77 ERA and 1.48 WHIP). I’m leaning toward mini-stacks considering there are so many other great matchups on this slate, but feel free to grab shares of the 1-5 hitters and get some exposure to the value bats (Franmil Reyes, Mike Freeman and Jordan Luplow, if he’s in the lineup).

9/17 DFS Hitting Stacks to Consider

Atlanta Braves at Vince Velazquez (It’s tough to fadeFreeman and Co. in a hitter’s park)

Miami Marlins at LHP Alex Young (all the righties –including my guy Starlin Castro)

Colorado Rockies vs. Marcus Stroman (The contrarian side ofCoors against a decent RHP)

9/17 DFS Hitting Catcher

J.T. Realmuto, PHI at ATL

DK ($4,600) FD ($3,900)

I’m a huge fan of Realmuto, who sports a .443 xwOBA and .227 ISO against LHPs over the past two seasons. It’s a one-off play that should command low ownership and provide a decent floor – as well as immense upside in GPPs.

9/17 DFS Hitting First Baseman

Rowdy Tellez, TOR at BAL

DK ($3,900) FD ($2,600)

Tellez has four homers in his last 11 games, crushes right-handedpitching (.453 xwOBA, .245 ISO since 2018), and bats fourth between Lourdes Gurrieland Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. Tellez is my double-dinger call of the day, and he’snot really thrown off by lefty relievers, either (.430 xwOBA against LHPs since2018).

9/17 DFS Hitting Second Baseman

Cavan Biggio, TOR at BAL

DK ($4,500) FD ($3,700)

Biggio is another Jays bat I want exposure to in Camden Yards, where he’s already got three homers in five career games and a 168 OPS+ that screams GPP play. As part of stack or simply a value bat at a reasonable price, Biggio makes a solid play for his speed and power.

9/17 DFS Hitting Third Baseman

Matt Chapman, OAK vs. KC

DK ($4,200) FD ($3,600)

Chapman and his surging power numbers (4 HRs in September so far) couldbe overlooked on this slate, and if you’re wary of spending more than $5K for J.D.Davis but still want to get some other Coors bats in, he could be a big help.All these games matter for the A’s, and Chapman (.423 xwOBA and .250 ISO vs.RHPs since 2018) is the heart and soul of their lineup along with Matt Olsonand Marcus Semien, the other two Oakland bats with 30+ homers this year.

9/17 DFS Hitting Shortstop

Francisco Lindor, CLE vs. DET

DK ($4,800) FD ($4,000)

Lindor is my favorite shortstop of this slate. He gets lotsof ABs and benefits from a circular Indians lineup that has some decent hittersat the bottom of the order – giving him some run-creating opportunities alongwith table-setting ability. His price is cheaper than Xander Bogaerts, Trevor Storyand Bo Bichette on DK (with just as much GPP upside) and he’s playable in allformats at home (where he owns a .386 wOBA and .403 xwOBA sine 2018) against theTigers.

9/17 DFS Hitting Outfielders

J.D. Martinez, BOS vs. SF

DK ($4,000) FD ($3,200)

Idiscussed the Red Sox stack up top, but if there’s one bat from Boston I’d likein this matchup, it’s J.D. His .506 xwOBA vs. RHPs since 2018 (over a hugesample of 998 plate appearances) means he can hit all types of pitching (it’s apreposterous .560 vs. LHPs) and he’s still surrounded by Bogaerts andBenintendi, who both hit RHPs well. I’m banking on a three-run homer for the RedSox OF/DH in hitter-friendly Fenway against young Logan Webb (.400 xwOBA vs. RHP).

Oscar Mercado, CLE vs. DET

DK ($4,100) FD ($3,000)

Thehome numbers for Mercado are impressive (.290/.340/.477) and his bat has beenshowing some life again (10 hits in his last 26 AB). You’re getting thetalented young OF at a discount on both sites, and he’s a great piece to havein Indians mini stacks along with Lindor and Carlos Santana.

Garrett Hampson, COL vs. NYM

DK ($3,500) FD ($3,200)

Hampson is red-hot at the plate and is dirt cheap onDK. He’s played much better since getting more regular time, starting in theRockies’ last five straight and games and going 11-for-22 over that stretch(counting Monday night). He’s easy to overlook in the lineup as the No. 7 hitterand makes plenty of sense in both cash games and GPPs.

C:Roberto Perez ($3,600 DK, $2,900FD), Reese McGuire ($3,900 DK, $2,800 FD)

1B: Pete Alonso ($5,600 DK, $4,300 FD), Carlos Santana($4,300 DK, $3,900 FD)

2B: Robinson Cano ($4,700 DK, $3,600 FD), Jonathan Villar($4,700 DK, $3,800 FD)

3B: Vladimir Guerrero Jr, ($3,900 DK, $2,900 FD), EugenioSuarez ($4,500 DK, $3,900 FD)

DFS MLB Hitting and Monkey Knife Fight Picks for 7/18

First Base

Christian Walker, Brewers at Diamondbacks ($3000 FD, $4600 DK): An extremely affordable piece of a potent offense, Walker and the rest of the Snakes get a shot at Zach Davies, who is nothing more than a mediocre pitcher. Look for the momentum the Diamondbacks offense displayed last night to continue. Look to the other side of the diamond in Eric Thames ($2700 FD, $4500 DK) for another affordable DFS MLB option. Opposing pitcher Merrill Kelly has not been anything special.

Second Base

Keston Hiura, Brewers at Diamondbacks ($3600 FD, $5000 DK): His price has risen according to his talent. Recently moved up to the cleanup spot, Hiura gets the same matchup that Thames does and I am beginning to see a trend that a Brewers stack could be in a good spot.

Franklin Barreto, Athletics at Twins ($2400 FD, $3700 DK): He is an affordable piece of a hot Athletics offense that gets a major park upgrade heading to Minnesota. An especially good place to hit for righties. Look for Barreto to deposit a ball into the bleachers, something he has done twice in the last six games.

Shortstop

Marcus Semien, Athletics at Twins ($3300 FD, $4500 DK): For many of the same reasons that I like Barreto, I like Semien. Should be batting out of the leadoff spot too!

Didi Gregorius (N/A FD, $3600 DK): is in another DFS MLB bat I was looking at, but because it is the second game of a doubleheader, you will have to be waiting on the Yankees lineup. The price on DK might be too good to ignore if he plays.

Third Base

Anthony Rendon, Nationals at Braves ($4400 FD, $5100 DK): Rendon is consistently hitting the ball with authority and power. But he has not had a true monster DFS MLB game in awhile. That could change tonight with a major park upgrade.

Mike Moustakas, Brewers at Diamondbacks ($3800 FD, $4700 DK): He is in a good spot as well as a major part of the powerful and deep Brewers offense.

Outfield

Michael Brantley, Astros at Angels ($3800 FD, $4500 DK): History tells us to target lefty bats against Matt Harvey and in Anaheim for DFS MLB purposes. With Yordan Alvarez battling a knee injury and questionable to play, Brantley is the best lefty bat Houston has.

Ronald Acuna Jr., Nationals at Braves ($4000 FD, $4700 DK): He has stolen four bases in his last four games. In the previous four games before that stretch, he hit 3 HRs. He is the the best power-speed guy in the game today and going against Strasburg should not scare you away.

MLB DFS Picks from The King: Early Slate, Main Pitching

FULL AND DAY SLATE MLB DFS PICKS AND OUTLOOKS

If you are playing on the early slate there are two viable pitching options in the San Diego-Miami game for your MLB DFS Picks. Dinelson Lamet is at just $8500 on DraftKings and has allowed two earned runs in each of his first two starts but has not gone six innings yet. This could be the day when he does so and he’s worth a GPP play. I will still spend the $9200 for Caleb Smith instead in cash games.

Chris Sale seems like a contrarian option among MLB DFS Picks at $10,000 against Toronto as he has allowed five runs in each of his last three starts. It would be a daring GPP move to run a Blue Jays stack. Randal Grichuk is just $4000 on DK and Teoscar Hernandez is only $3500 and is coming off a two-homer game. Justin Smoak is $4000 and while Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has homered just once in the last month, you may want to take a shot at $3600 in a GPP. He’s gotta start heating up again some time. The prices are friendly enough on the Jays bats. If it comes down to Aaron Nola vs. the Dodgers or Sale vs. the Jays on a two pitcher site, I will take the shot that Sale cannot continue to skid.

Look for some bats in the Royals-White Sox matchup as well. Cheslor Cuthbert is hitting .308 vs. lefties this year and is a good start against journeyman Ross Detwiler. Whit Merrifield will be worth the $5400 spend. You could consider a Kansas City stack if you don’t want to attack Sale on the short day schedule. Brad Keller has started to settle down but could get blown up at any time, and Jose Abreu looks like a good bet at $4400 when you consider he is hitting .306 this month.

MAIN SLATE PITCHING PICKS

Trevor Bauer is the obvious cash game lock for $11,000 in the Cleveland- Detroit game, but in GPPs I will definitely take my chances with Matt Boyd at $9600. While he has allowed four earned runs in each of his past five starts, he also has provided double figure strikeout totals in his last three outings. I’ll gamble on that sort of trending strikeout upside to help Boyd deliver his best start in awhile.

When you consider that Dakota Hudson has not allowed more than three earned runs in a game since April 15, he looks like a standout among MLB DFS Picks for pitching value at $5800. Not a bad price for a guy with an 8-4 record and a 3.84 ERA. The Reds have been sixth in MLB in hitting over the past week but Hudson can really keep things tidy for the price. He is the type of pitcher you can use to save some money for stacks and front loading your lineup with more bats in a GPP.

Madison Bumgarner has never lost to the Mets and can be your prime play at $9000 if you do not want to spend up for Bauer. He is 6-0 in his career against New York with a 2.00 ERA. Bumgarner has allowed three earned runs in his past three starts and held New York to three runs in six innings on June 4, I am going to lock him in against a team that he simply has a magical hold over. The Mets scored 14 runs yesterday and now will be brought back down by a guy they just cannot overcome.

Julio Teheran is at $6400 and at home, where he does his best work (2.86 ERA). He also has allowed three earned runs in his past three starts. The Nationals are 24th in team batting over the past week and Terheran can be confidently used in any format for your MLB DFS Picks. I would not hesitate to utilize him in cash or GPPs.

Your DFS Hitting Picks and Top Stacks for Saturday.

First Base – Daniel Murphy, Colorado Rockies

DraftKings – $4,300, FanDuel – $3,700

Tanner Roark struggles a ton against lefties and Daniel Murphy is an above average hitter and we get the Coors Field boost here for DFS Hitting.

Second Base – Whit Merrifield, Kansas City Royals

DraftKings – $4,200, FanDuel – $3,600

I love how Merrifield is hitting right now, he’s on fire. He gets a lefty, and he is a career .310 hitter vs. them. There is always a stolen base threat here also.

Shortstop – Elvis Andrus, Texas Rangers

DraftKings – $4,400, FanDuel – $3,800

Elvis Andrus is always a very solid DFS Hitting play at home and I love him more against lefties. Wade Miley isn’t going to strike out a ton, so the ball will be put in play here with the Texas air boost.

Third Base – Nolan Arenado, Colorado Rockies

DraftKings – $4,900, FanDuel – $4,400

Nolan Arenado at under $5,000 on DraftKings is a crime. Tanner Roark is mediocre and I think Nolan takes him deep in Coors.

Outfield – Charlie Blackmon, Colorado Rockies

DraftKings – $5,500, FanDuel – $4,600

As one of the hottest hitters in baseball, Blackmon is my favorite DFS Hitting plays on the slate. Roark cannot get lefties out and Blackmon has been very hot overall.

Outfield – Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels

DraftKings – $5,200, FanDuel – $4,800

Mike Trout against a lefty at home? Gimme gimme. Wade LeBlanc is a terrible pitcher and Mike Trout is the best player in the league. Don’t overthink it.

Outfield – Avisail Garcia, Tampa Bay Rays

DraftKings – $4,600, FanDuel – $3,200

Until the day I no longer play DFS I will play Garcia against a lefty. He is my favorite DFS Hitting one off in tournaments every time a southpaw takes the rubber against him.

DFS Hitting Stacks

1.) Colorado Rockies

Tanner Roark is very very bad against left handed bats (.290 BAA, .531 SLG). We get the Coors Field effect here and a terrible pitcher on the mound. Give me all the lefties plus Nolan Arenado. Charlie Blackmon, Daniel Murphy, and David Dahl. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t be the highest scoring team on the slate.

2.) Texas Rangers

Outside of his home stadium, Wade Miley has been horrible. He holds a 4.56 ERA and a .250 BAA. He has been worse against right handed bats and that’s who I want to target with DFS Hitting Stacks. I also love Joey Gallo as he MASHES left handed pitching in Texas. Miley is going to be in for a bad night here.
