Well, we’ve been talking about the Adjusted Expected Total Yards (AETY) model that was created in the off-season for NFL Prop Bets… It’s time to let her shine! Please play responsibly and enjoy the AETY edge.

Below is a short excerpt from Chapter Seven of the book and this strategy is something that you can begin today. 

The Three Team Strategy

Something I find useful, especially early in the season, is limiting my action to just three teams. 

The idea behind this system is to only focus on three teams and bet every game that these three teams are involved in.

Essentially you are chasing information about only these three teams and of course, you will have to handicap the opposing team. You are free to bet for or against your three teams of choice but you want to wager on just those three teams for at least the first thirty days of the new season.

Two things are going to happen; you will become an expert and know as much about your three teams as the most diehard fan and after maybe thirty days or so you will have handicapped nearly every MLB team.

The secret is to keep a notebook and track not only your three teams but every team that you handicap throughout the season. This is done so that you can become more knowledgeable about the teams and this should help make it easier to spot value.

Cleveland Cavaliers +4 over the Chicago Bulls

The Bulls have won two of their previous three meetings but Cleveland covered the spread in two of those three games. The Bulls will be without their leading scorer Zach LaVive tonight and that’s a huge loss for Chicago. The Cavs enter Tuesday winners of two straight and is 2-2-1 against the spread (ATS) over their last five games. Chicago is 2-3 ATS over their last five games and Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests taking the four points and playing the Cavaliers to cover the spread tonight. 

Dallas Mavericks -3.5 Points over San Antonio Spurs

The Mavericks are looking at a season series sweep over their Southwest Division rival San Antonio and I suspect Dallas will cover the spread tonight and then some. The Spurs are in a tailspin and can’t seem to stay healthy or two get out of their own way. Dallas is looking for a playoff spot and is coming off a home loss to Indiana. Dallas has covered the spread in two of their three meetings with the Spurs and they should do so again and especially so with Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge on the shelf with an injured shoulder. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the wood and playing the Mavericks to cover the spread tonight. 

Memphis Grizzlies -2 points over Orlando Magic

Orlando has been hot lately and enters this matchup on a two-game winning streak but they have a 13-20 road record and they are up against a Grizzlies team that has won four of its last five games and covered the spread in four of those five games. Memphis is 18-14 at home this season and appears healthier as Orlando will be without Evan Fournier who will miss an extended period of time with an elbow injury. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the two points and playing the Grizzlies to cover the spread tonight.

Denver Nuggets vs Cleveland Cavaliers UNDER 218 Points

These two sides finished under the 216.5 point total in their previous meeting in January and I suspect the same will hold true in Cleveland tonight. The Cavaliers are banged up big time and they will have a short rotation tonight. Denver seems healthy and they allow the eighth fewest points in the NBA this season. Both sides are in the bottom third of the league in scoring and I think 218 points is a bit of a stretch tonight. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests playing UNDER 218 points in this matchup. 

Atlanta Hawks vs Memphis Grizzlies OVER 234.5 Points

These two sides went well under the 240 point total in their previous meeting just five days ago but tonight will be the night when these two teams give us the high-scoring game we expected earlier in the week. Both squads are in the bottom third in points allowed and are two of the fastest-paced teams in the NBA this season. Trae Young is listed as questionable for tonight with some sort of illness. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests playing OVER 234.5 points in this matchup tonight. 

Philadelphia 76ers -130 over Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have Stephen Curry back but they are going to have a difficult time tonight with the 76ers. At 10-23 away from Wells Fargo Center, the 76ers don’t instill much confidence and they will be missing Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Jason Richardson. That being said, Philadelphia still has plenty of firepower and should have enough to defeat the lottery draft bound Warriors at Chase Center. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests playing the 76ers to defeat the Warriors in this contest tonight. 

Portland Trail Blazers -3 points over Sacramento Kings

The Kings aren’t a very good road team at all and Portland is a disappointing team that seems to play better at home. Portland has won two of their previous three meetings and covered the spread in both those games. Portland has a 20-11 record when listed as the favorite whereas Sacramento is 17-24 when listed as the underdog. Portland badly needs a victory tonight and Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the three points and playing Portland to cover the spread tonight.
