Isaiah’s Protocol for the NBA DFS slate is built around DraftKings pricing, but is good across the industry with some slight adjustments to salaries on the various sites. I’d like to point out that the players I’m recommending are best used together for cash game purposes. These players are also decent considerations for guaranteed prize pool (GPP) tournaments when used individually with other contrarian type players.

We’re looking at an exciting 4 game NBA DFS slate that’s packed with intriguing players. There is some injury news out there to keep an eye on. I like to advise all my readers to join the staff at WinDaily in our Discord chat rooms as we discuss some of the important news leading up to tip off, and break down some key players even further.

Strategy

It’s extremely important to understand that this is a cash game article. My focus is to find 8 players on the DraftKings NBA DFS slate that will get the recommended 300 point total that should be enough to finish in the top 50% of double up, 50/50, or head to head games. The roster building process is different for GPP tournaments where it’s wise to use more expensive players for their scoring upside, and pair them with players that may exceed their value to get you in the top 10% of your contest. Finding high risk/reward players while paying close attention to ownership percentages is important to differentiate your lineup in GPP’s. For cash games, ownership is far less important as we’re simply looking to find a roster that will finish in the top 50% of the contest, and win some cash. Proper bankroll management is important for limiting the number of deposits you make with your own money. Doubling a wager in cash games is an excellent way to counter risks you may take playing GPP contests. It’s always better to take shots at bigger GPP contests with the “house” money you’ve already won playing cash games.

DraftKings gives us a $50,000 salary cap to roster 8 players. This gives us an average of $6,250 per player. Getting to the recommended 300 point plateau, we need all 8 players to average 37.5 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFPTS). While it may sound challenging, keeping this elementary math in the back of your head while building your roster is important. Limit your risk as much as possible and find 8 players that fit this criteria. Lets take a look at this NBA DFS slate.

Cash Game Core (Spend Up)

Jamal Murray ($7200) Jamal has been absolute fire lately. He played his average 40 minutes verse Utah on Monday finishing with 36 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds. He scored just under 60 DKFPTS in that game, crushing value at just under 10X. Murray did get a bump in salary, but still averages 51 DKFPTS verse the Jazz in his 3 games against them this season. Those numbers equate to a safe 7X value at this salary.

Fred VanVleet ($7600) VanVleets is another guy who has been on point in the bubble. He flies a bit under the radar with players like Lillard dominating the headlines. I love targeting Raptors against this banged up, defensively deficient Brooklyn squad. Fred also got a substantial salary increase after dropping 60 DKFPTS on the Nets Monday. His 4 game average against the Nets dictates 47 DKFPTS this season. That alone would give him 6X value, and I think he’s playing better than those numbers represent.

Cash Game Core (Average)

Serge Ibaka ($5700) Ibaka seems to be fully recovered from a knee issue that sidelined him earlier this month. Serge has played 25+ minutes in the last 2 games and scored 38, and 43 DKFPTS in those games respectively. Keeping with the Raptor target theme, and feasting on this Brooklyn frontcourt seems like easy pickings on this NBA DFS slate. Anything around this 40 DKFPTS average gives us 7X value, and plugging him in at center (and using the value below) allows us to pay up for just about any stud we want.

Including the value below, there should be enough salary to do anything you like. Using another value piece should enable you to pay up for Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard, or Joel Embiid. I think for cash games I’m leaning more on finishing my roster build with a balanced approach.

I really like the combination of Jaylen Brown ($7500) and Kemba Walker ($6800) at this point. Boston will be without the services of Gordon Hayward (ankle) for a while. I expect Marcus Smart to be deployed as a defensive specialist to slow down Tobias Harris and annoy Embiid as much as possible. The Celtics will be looking to lean on the other starters to step up their offense.

Other players I’m considering in the mid-range of this NBA DFS slate include Paul George ($8600), Caris LaVert ($8200), Kyle Lowry ($8000), Pascal Siakam ($7500), and Rudy Gobert ($7400).

Cash Game Core (Value)

I’ve been finding it difficult to roster some quality, consistent, affordable forwards on this NBA DFS slate. Listing them here will give me a little savings to squeeze in my spend ups, while filling this difficult position.

Joe Ingles ($5600) Ingles has been averaging around 44 minutes a game verse the Nuggets and scored 37 DKFPTS in both games last week. Bogdonovic opted out of the bubble earlier this season. Even though Conley returned to the bubble yesterday, he still has to self-quarantine for a bit. This leaves the Jazz backcourt wide open for as many minutes as Ingles can handle. Feel confident firing Ingles up once again in that difficult SF position, hoping he exceeds his average 7X value at that salary.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (TLC) ($4700) TLC has looked pretty good lately. He had 26 points and 7 rebounds, for 40 DKPTS against Toronto on Monday. TLC has been playing north of 30 minutes in the last week. I expect more of the same on this NBA DFS slate. Anything over 33 DKFPTS will give us 7X value on this salary, and TLC is also PF eligible on DraftKings. I don’t hate rostering him at that spot enabling me to pay up elsewhere.

Some others I’m considering are Marcus Morris Sr. ($4800), Jordan Clarkson ($4700), Alec Burks ($4600), Ivica Zubac ($4500), Monte Morris ($3700), and Semi Ojeleye ($3000).

Gordon Hayward has already been ruled out for Boston, and Kristaps Porzingas remains highly questionable in the late game today (which is NOT ideal).

Cash Game Core (Spend Up)

Rudy Gobert ($7700) I know there are probably better options at center with Gobert squaring off against Nikola Jokic, and the Denver Nuggets. Keep in mind that we’re staying focused on the math (above). Rudy is a key starting piece of the Utah frontcourt and will be leaned on heavily for his presence down low. In 3 games vs. the Nuggets this season he averages 40 minutes, and supplies a 20 point, 13 rebound double double. Gobert is also one of the better defending big men in the NBA, so there may be some added secondary stats as well. This equates to a 41 DKFPTS average.

Pascal Siakam ($7500) Pascal hasn’t looked to be the superstar he’s supposed to be in the bubble so far. This is the playoffs, and a different story. It’s been a long known fact in NBA DFS to target big men verse the Brooklyn Nets. This is no exception. Toronto is the biggest favorite on the NBA DFS slate (-9.5), and has the second highest expected point total (222). I love targeting this Raptor squad as much as possible. In 3 games verse the Nets this season, Pascal is averaging 35 minutes, 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. That gives him 45 DKFPTS on average for $7500. Lock him in at the tricky PF spot on your roster.

Cash Game Core (Average)

This is where I will be locking in 3, if not all 4 (including utility) of my guard spots on this NBA DFS slate. I’m not going to break them all down as they should speak for themselves. All 4 of them are starters projected for at least 30 minutes, have 40 DKFPTS upside, and have salaries that fit perfectly in our template. They are all seasoned veterans that should thrive in running their respective offenses in the playoff hunt.

Kemba Walker ($6900)

Fred VanVleet ($6800)

Jamal Murray ($6500)

Mike Conley ($6300)

Cash Game Core (Value)

While we may have overspent a little so far, I think we can still make it happen. Let me give you a list of potential players I’m considering to finish filling out my cash game roster. I’ve listed them in order of salary, not upside, or favorite.

Joe Harris ($4700), Marc Gasol ($4300)(keep an eye on Ibaka’s status here), Marcus Morris Sr. ($4200), Alec Burks ($3900), Jordan Clarkson ($3800), Chris Boucher ($3700) (again, Ibaka status), Monte Morris ($3600), Royce O’Neal ($3500)

I highly encourage all readers to join myself, and the rest of the WinDaily family in the Discord chat rooms as we break down and discuss our favorite plays on this NBA DFS slate. Thank you for reading my content and feel free to leave a comment, or hit me up on Twitter @IsaiahsProtocol.

Isaiah’s Protocol for the NBA DFS slate is researched using DraftKings (DK) pricing. The players are good across the industry with some slight adjustments to salaries on the various sites. Some players may not be listed here because I prefer them on FanDuel (FD). I like to advise all my readers to join the staff at WinDaily, in our Discord chat rooms, as we discuss some of the important news of the day and break down some of these intriguing plays even further.

Most of the players I recommendare best used together for cash game purposes. These players are also decentconsiderations for guaranteed prize pool (GPP) games when used individuallywith other contrarian type players.

We are looking at an interesting 6 game NBA DFS slate tonight. I think there is an abundance of decent mid-level players tonight which is pushing me towards a balanced approach to roster construction. While there are some value players available, expected injury/rest news should open up some more value so that we can get to the stars tonight.

THE GAMES

  • Kristaps Porzingas ($9400) has sat out the last 4 back-to-back (B2B) games the Mavericks have played. I’m writing with the expectation that tonight will be no different.
  • The Pelicans/Kings game has the highest total of 235 points. The Knicks/Hawks game is right behind them with 233 points expected. These 2 games are almost 15 points higher than all the rest of the games and are the best place to target players on this NBA DFS slate. Both games represent the 2 fastest-paced contests of the night as well.
  • Jimmy Butler ($8000), Kendrick Nunn ($4800), and Tyler Herro ($3300) are listed as questionable. With the Heat being 10 point home favorites there may be some nice value opening up in this backcourt.

THE STUDS

Luka Doncic ($11000) Luka is a little banged up right now with a sprained right wrist. He also got sick last week and battled a sprained left thumb. None of these things stopped him from dropping 63.25 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFPTS) on the Spurs last night. Doncis’s 37.9% usage rate and 1.66 fantasy points (FP) per minute, both get huge bumps when Porzingas is off the floor. It’s not an ideal matchup against a Nugget team that ranks 13th in defensive efficiency (DEFF) and 7th in (DVA) which is a rank given to the opponent when facing this player’s archetype. Luka is basically matchup proof and needs to be considered when constructing your rosters.

Trae Young ($10400) With Luka projected to have 57.24% of the ownership, I don’t see how we don’t look to pivot to Trae’s 22%. He looked to be a little “off” in his last game and I hope that keeps his ownership low. Looking to be healthier after fighting the Flu last week, Trae carries a 37.1% usage rate and scores 1.44 FP/min. He’s squaring off against a Knick team that ranks 26th in both DEFF and DVA vs. opposing point guards (PG). New York is also on the second half of a B2B after a dismal performance last night against the lowly Wizards. Young has averaged 67.4 DKFPTS in 2 games vs. the Knicks and is quickly becoming my favorite player on the entire NBA DFS slate.

THE CORE

Julius Randle ($7800) Randle had a sub-par performance against Washington last night and I’m hoping this keeps his ownership low. I’m going right back to the well tonight. Randle has a 27.3% usage rate and scores 1.15 FP/min. Julius also spanked Atlanta in both of his previous games to the tune of an average of 49.6 DKFPTS as the Hawks rank 16th in DEFF and 19th in DVA against opposing power forwards (PF). John Collins ($9100) is listed questionable but probable with an ankle sprain. Elfrid Payton ($6500) was also a little “off” last night and I love a little game stack to take advantage of this spot tonight.

Danilo Gallinari ($5900) Nothing eye-popping here. Danilo has a 23% usage rate and scores just over an FP/min. He averages between 30-32 minutes a game and scored 35.3 DKFPTS against Utah in his previous game with them. He may get a slight bump in production tonight if SGA misses this contest. The math checks out here as 35 DKFPTS gets him to 6X value. This makes him one of the most stable, and cheap, core options to start building your roster with.

Nemanja Bjelica ($5500) The frontcourt situation has gotten a bit murky in Sacramento with the return of Richaun Holmes ($5000). The one constant for the Kings all season has been Bjelica. He still managed to play 30 minutes last game with 3 big men available. I want to find some exposure to the best game on this NBA DFS slate and Nemanja looks to be a cheap answer. He has a 17.3% usage rate and scores just under an FP/min. The Pelicans rank 17th in DEFF and 25th in DVA vs. opposing PF’s.

I realize that this isn’t the sexiest of lists. I’m just trying to show that these players will be a “core” of my rosters. They should allow me to build in different ways involving higher-priced players and value, or a solid mid-tier roster that will be best suited for cash games.

THE OTHERS

Bam Adebayo ($9000), Tobias Harris ($8500), Christian Wood ($8100), Lonzo Ball ($7900), Zion Williamson ($7800), De’Aaron Fox ($7800), Al Horford ($7400), Elfrid Payton ($6500), Will Barton ($6200), Dennis Schroder ($6200)(a core play if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sits), Mitchell Robinson ($5700), Buddy Hield ($5400), Brandon Knight ($4900), Mike Scott ($4800)(only if Joel Embiid is out).

THE VALUE

Maxi Kleber ($4600) Averaging .88 FP/min, and 30+ minutes in games that Porzingas has missed, Kleber looks to be one of the best value plays on the NBA DFS slate.

Bobby Portis ($4200) Taj Gibson ($3100) is slowly being faded into oblivion and Portis looks to be the sixth man filling in at both the PF and Center spots. Mitchell Robinson ($5700) is no stranger to foul trouble and attacking this Hawks frontcourt has been DFS gold. Portis also fits nicely into that game stack I alluded to earlier.

Thon Maker ($3100) There aren’t any “Bigs” left in Detroit and Henson has an ankle injury. This is a minute/value play only if Henson misses the game.

Boban Marjanovic ($3000) Willie Cauley-Stein ($3000) was held out of the last game battling an illness. With no Porzingas, hit the lock button here if WCS has to sit again.

There are a ton of players to like tonight. I simply don’t have the time to write all of them up. I highly encourage all readers to join myself, and the rest of the WinDaily team in the Discord chat rooms as we break down and discuss our favorite plays. Thank you for reading my content and feel free to leave a comment, or leave me a message on Twitter @IsaiahsProtocol.

This article discusses a core for DFS players to build around for today’s FanDuel NBA slate. While there are many different sports and various contests pertaining to DFS along with their respective strategies, we focus on the main approaches to build both reliable cash and GPP lineups for a successful NBA night including pace, the projected over/under, one on one matchups, and a team’s defensive rating. Make sure to stay active when building NBA lineups – if you cannot be in front of a computer, tablet, or on your phone an hour before lock do not throw your money away! NBA DFS lineups can change at the blink of an eye and is the most variable compared to any other sport in DFS; players get injured, some sit for load management, and others find themselves on the DNP list for other reasons; any of which can sway your lineup and where to find value. Stay alert on the WinDaily Discord chat to follow along with our updated plays. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

PointGuard

Coby White, Chicago Bulls ($6,400 FD)

The young guard is getting his first career start and couldn’t have a better matchup. The Cavaliers are the NBA’s worst team against point guards, allowing 51.30 FD points per game. It doesn’t hurt that Coby White is on a tear as well, averaging 39.51 FD points per game across his last eight games in 33 minutes per outing.

Elfrid Payton, New York Knicks ($6,200 FD)

My main pivot to a chalky Coby White, Elfrid Payton is in a great spot versus the Washington Wizards tonight. Every time the Wizards are on the NBA slate, there is always a consideration for a full game stack. If doing so, start here with the Knicks’ primary ball-handler, who put up 48.8 FD points last time they played just a few weeks ago.

Ricky Rubio, Phoenix Suns ($6,900 FD)

Coming off a 25-point triple-double, I am hoping Ricky Rubio stays lower owned than early-morning projections. I love playing Rubio on most NBA slates, but when he plays Portland, I lock him in most of my lineups. The Spaniard averages 41.5 FD points per game versus the Trail Blazers this season and should be good for 6x at his price tag. I don’t know what it is, but he loves playing Portland and I won’t miss out.

Other NBA FD Considerations

Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks ($10,900 FD) – Sore wristand if he’s out, lock Porzingis.

Russell Westbrook, Houston Rockets ($10,500 FD) –Great matchup if paying up.

Collin Sexton, Cleveland Cavaliers ($6,200 FD) – On atear and his price went DOWN..?

Shaquille Harrison, Chicago Bulls ($4,900 FD) – Averaging 38.83 FD points over the last 3.

Markelle Fultz, Orlando Magic ($4,900 FD) – Burned uslast time but attack Memphis defense.

Punt: Patty Mills, San Antonio Spurs ($3,500 FD) –Murray out and Pop loves Mills.

ShootingGuard

DeMar DeRozan, San Antonio Spurs ($8,000FD)

He hasn’t been doing what he was projected to do without LaMarcus Aldridge in the lineup, but DeMar DeRozan will have to score in bunches if the Spurs want a chance at beating the Mavs. The usage will be there and will be higher than usual, his minutes will be locked in if this one stays close, and if it does, it’s because he’s going off.

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns ($8,200 FD)

In one of my favorite games to stack on this NBA slate, Devin Booker is right around the price where we like him to be. He’s averaging 38.33 minutes per game across his last six and closes the first and third quarters as the primary ball-handler when Ricky Rubio typically leaves the court. He’ll get most of his points there, but he should be in for a good night.

CJ McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers($7,400)

I’ve been on the Damian Lillard train for the past three games and now it’s time to hop off. CJ McCollum is outproducing his backcourt partner and saw his price come down from what it was without Dame in the lineup. He’s averaging 40 FD points per game in the last three since Lillard came back, and is my primary target in a game stack with my Phoenix Suns players.

Other NBA FD Considerations

James Harden, Houston Rockets ($11,200 FD) – Great spotif paying up.

Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($9,900 FD) – He isplaying the Knicks…

D’Angelo Russell, Minnesota Timberwolves ($7,900 FD) –Attack Harden defense.

Malik Beasley, Minnesota Timberwolves ($5,700 FD) –Steady production.

Terrence Ross, Orlando Magic ($5,400 FD) – Been playinghim over the last month; fire.

Lou Williams, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,900 FD) – How muchrun will the bench get?

SmallForward

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers ($10,700FD)

After taking down the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers in the same week, LeBron James is on a mission to prove he is the NBA’s MVP. With reports that he is now nursing a groin injury, I think the Lakers give The King a rest tonight but if he plays, he is in a great spot facing a Brooklyn Nets team that allows 46.81 FD points per game to opposing primary ball handlers.

Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers ($7,400FD)

This game has blowout alert all over it, but it’s oneof many things we preach in our Discord chat: you cannot predict blowouts andhow it will affect players. Paul George is just too cheap for someone who hasthe potential to score in bunches, assist on many baskets, and pile updefensive stats en route to a 45+ FD point night.

Cedi Osman, Cleveland Cavaliers ($4,400FD)

Cedi Osman has been the main man since Kevin Porter Jr. went down for the Cavs three games ago. In that stretch, Osman has seen 38.67 minutes and has produced 30 FD points per game. Tonight, he sees a Bulls team that is more vulnerable toward the frontcourt and could be a good source on a value on this NBA slate.

Other NBA FD Considerations

Mikal Bridges, Phoenix Suns ($5,400 FD)

Rudy Gay, San Antonio Spurs ($4,300 FD)

PowerForward

Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers ($10,400FD)

If LeBron’s out, lock Anthony Davis in. You always fear the dreaded “Anthony Davis to the locker room” tweet but he will be an elite target should James sit this one out. The Nets are the NBA’s 4th-worst team versus centers, allowing 57.26 FD points per game and Davis could break the slate at any time.

Kristaps Porzingis, Dallas Mavericks($9,400 FD)

He let a lot of people down last time out, but Kristaps Porzingis will be a lock if Luka Doncic sits. Even if Doncic does play, I still like a bounce-back game from Porzingis here who should see the likes of Trey Lyles and Drew Eubanks on the other side. Last time the Mavs played the Spurs, both Doncic and Porzingis went for 55+ FD points, while the latter did so in just 29 minutes played.

Julius Randle, New York Knicks ($7,300 FD)

Julius Randle is one of the most inconsistent mid-range players in NBA DFS but tonight he could provide to be a great leverage play. In 3 games versus the Wizards this season, Randle has put up a 28.7/11.3/3/1/0.7 scoring line and 47.77 FD points per game. At a mere $7,300, he, along with Aaron Gordon, can be great mid-range targets on this NBA slate.

Other NBA FD Considerations

Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic ($7,000 FD)

Robert Covington, Houston Rockets ($6,200 FD)

Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers ($9,400 FD)

Center

Andre Drummond,Cleveland Cavaliers ($8,200 FD)

He is our fearless leader’s kryptonite, but he can produce a 60-point night at any time just like he could throw up a dud. Tonight, I think he gives us the former. Andre Drummond faces a Chicago team that has been decimated by centers all season long, averaging 57.95 FD points per game allowed. This could be one of Drummond’s 20-20 games, and at $8,200, don’t miss out.

Aaron Baynes,Phoenix Suns ($5,300 FD)

Only viable if DeAndre Ayton sits again, Aaron Baynes has been the talk of the NBA DFS world after putting up 65 against Portland just four days ago. Tonight, he faces the same team but tempers your expectations; he hit nine 3-pointers last time out en route to 37 points and 65 FD points. He won’t put another 65, but I expect another 30-35 if Ayton sits.

Montrezl Harrell,Los Angeles Clippers ($5,700 FD)

Just as a wrote a quick note for Lou Williams at the SG position, how much run will the Clippers bench get tonight? Being a huge favorite in this game with a -11.5 spread, Vegas indicates that it will be a blowout, but we can’t predict that. More importantly, the Warriors play small and Harrell could see a lot of runs.

Other NBA FDConsiderations

Marquese Chriss, GoldenState Warriors ($6,000 FD)

Gamesto Consider:

  • New York Knicks@ Washington Wizards (228 over/under)
  • Phoenix Suns @Portland Trail Blazers (232.5 over/under)
  • MinnesotaTimberwolves @ Houston Rockets (246 over/under)

Cash with Flash Best Bets has the following NBA games for you to consider for tonight.

Cleveland Cavaliers +4 over the Chicago Bulls

The Bulls have won two of their previous three meetings but Cleveland covered the spread in two of those three games. The Bulls will be without their leading scorer Zach LaVive tonight and that’s a huge loss for Chicago. The Cavs enter Tuesday winners of two straight and is 2-2-1 against the spread (ATS) over their last five games. Chicago is 2-3 ATS over their last five games and Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests taking the four points and playing the Cavaliers to cover the spread tonight.

Dallas Mavericks -3.5 Points over San Antonio Spurs

The Mavericks are looking at a season series sweep over their Southwest Division rival San Antonio and I suspect Dallas will cover the spread tonight and then some. The Spurs are in a tailspin and can’t seem to stay healthy or two get out of their own way. Dallas is looking for a playoff spot and is coming off a home loss to Indiana. Dallas has covered the spread in two of their three meetings with the Spurs and they should do so again and especially so with Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge on the shelf with an injured shoulder. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the wood and playing the Mavericks to cover the spread tonight.

Memphis Grizzlies -2 points over Orlando Magic

Orlando has been hot lately and enters this matchup on a two-game winning streak but they have a 13-20 road record and they are up against a Grizzlies team that has won four of its last five games and covered the spread in four of those five games. Memphis is 18-14 at home this season and appears healthier as Orlando will be without Evan Fournier who will miss an extended period of time with an elbow injury. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the two points and playing the Grizzlies to cover the spread tonight.

We are looking at an interesting 8 game NBA DFS slate tonight. I want to start things off a little differently. First of all, the BOS/OKC and MIL/PHO games are not on the FanDuel main slate. Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to miss tonight’s game and it throws a curveball into the way I have to write the thing up. There is a lot to talk about, so let’s get into it.

THE GAMES

  • Khris Middleton ($6500) and Eric Bledsoe ($5400) become instant lock buttons on the DraftKings slate. I’m also locking in the value play of the starter at Power Forward (PF) for the Bucks. Either Marvin Williams or Ersan Ilyasova should get the nod and both players are ($3000). I’m fading every player in the BOS/OKC game because of the salaries and value coming from Milwaukee. (I didn’t want you to think I forgot about that game).

Obviously these players are going to change the construction of rosters between the 2 sites on this NBA DFS slate. I will do my best to differentiate between the sites but your best bet is to check in with us in the WinDaily Discord chat rooms with any questions you may have. Now that we have the 2 oddball games out of the way, let’s move on to the other games.

THE STUDS

Russell Westbrook ($10000) I’m starting with Russell here because he’s the only one of the higher options that I’m considering on BOTH sites. Westy carries a 35.7% usage rate and scores 1.30 fantasy points (FP) per minute. Orlando ranks 20th in defensive efficiency (DEFF) and 15th in (DVA) which is a rank given to the opponent when facing this player’s archetype. I feel comfortable putting Westbrook on any roster across all the sites for the NBA DFS slate tonight.

* Both James Harden ($11300) and Luka Doncic ($10800) are viable options on FD only for me. Middleton and Bledsoe are already in play on DK, remember?

THE CORE

Nikola Vucevic ($8900) I’m locking Vuc in on FD as, by far, my favorite option. Nikola has a 25.6% usage rate and scores 1.30 FP/min. He’s basically the only viable option on FD. It gets a little trickier on DK as there are other (multi-positional) players available. There are also 2 other games (Brook Lopez), and late swap available so you can consider some of the Toronto players once we get some information on injuries there.

Jimmy Butler ($8100) Jimmy has a 25.3% usage rate and scores 1.22 FP/min. He’s facing a Wizards team that is well known to be a NBA DFS slate gold mine and they rank 30th in DVA. Butler is AVERAGING 52.8 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFPTS), in 3 games this season, verse (vs.) Washington.

Christian Wood ($7900) This is easy. Wood has become a fantasy monster. With all of the injuries and trades, for Detroit, Chris has become their only real scoring option. He has a 21.6% usage rate and scores 1.17 FP/min on the season. The Knicks rank 22nd in DEFF and 27th in DVA vs. Woods position. He also erased any match-up concerns, when he dropped 46.75 DKFPTS on Rudy Gobert and company last night. Most of the sites have failed to raise his salary accordingly. He’s my #1 overall, point per dollar player, on this NBA DFS slate, across the industry.

THE VALUE

  • There is a lot of value available on this NBA DFS slate. I’ve already given you some of my thoughts for DK. These guys are more viable on FD as I’ve chosen them for a position that may be hard to fill tonight. Ignore the salaries I have listed as they are way cheaper than that on FD. I expect Pascal Siakam to be the chalk on this site as he is the only real viable option. Using these guys on your roster may be a great way to save salary and gain some leverage on the field at the same time.

Cedi Osman ($4800) Injuries are abundant on the Cavaliers right now and no one is really certain how their rotation will look. One thing we do know is that they don’t have any small forwards available. Cedi is locked into 30+ minutes right now.

Derrick Jones Jr. ($3400) Jae Crowder is out tonight in the concussion protocol. I expect Derrick to pick up the slack here and more importantly, the minutes.
