On this Win Daily Show Interview with Andrea LaMont, her and Michael Rasile discuss her love of Fantasy Baseball!
Andrea Lamont joins Michael Rasile to discuss how she found herself writing and talking about Fantasy Sports for a living! Andrea grew up going to Angel’s games and always hated the Yankees. So in 2004 when the Red Sox we’re starting their run she took the ride with them.
They touch on sign stealing in baseball with the Houston Astros and her Boston Red Sox at the forefront of those discussions.
She got into Fantasy Baseball while at work one day and wanted to go up against some of the other guys from her office. This is where she discovered Lenny “The Legend” Melnick and started to dominate her league. She loved it so much she went out to Arizona and even got to meet some of her favorite writers and personalities.
She explains how she was able to break into the Fantasy Sports industry and what she is doing to set herself apart. She is also very proud to be a female in the industry and has seen it as a positive wherever she goes! Andrea works very hard to make sure her facts are straight and her information is correct.
Andrea has some great stories about her and Lenny fighting about what players to draft for the co-owned fantasy teams. Eventually getting out of a car when it’s at a stop and driving herself to their destination without him!
Andrea now works with Lenny and help with the website, writes articles, and can be heard on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio every week!
