This article focuses on 11/21 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Saturday 11/21 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

The EPL has returned, with a three game slate, which can be found with a 10am ET start time on both sites.

We start off with Aston Villa (+117) hosting Brighton (+225). There is more on this game below under the Best Bet.

After that, Manchester City (-124) will be traveling to Tottenham (+300) Hotspur Stadium for a big showdown. Coming off the international break, we will really have to watch lineups here. The Tottenham side should be a bit easier to predict than Manchester City’s starting eleven. Given the number of injuries for Manchester City, it complicates matters even more.

Finally, Manchester United (-315) hosts West Brom (+900), as the Red Devils make for an interesting and popular late game hammer. With both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial GTD’s with injuries, we will have to see how lineups shake out here as well.

Notable Goal Scoring Odds

Note: Many of these players will not end up starting, but their goal odds are listed just in case. If they do not end up starting, disregard them.

Brighton at Aston Villa – Ollie Watkins (+135), Neal Maupay (+165), Jack Grealish (+260), Danny Welbeck (+265), Leandro Trossard (+310), Trezeguet (+320), Ross Barkley (+320)

Manchester City at Tottenham – Sergio Aguero (+110), Gabriel Jesus (+140), Raheem Sterling (+155), Harry Kane (+160), Kevin De Bruyne (+200), Carlos Vinicius (+210), Son Heung-Min (+220), Riyad Mahrez (+220), Phil Foden (+225), Fernan Torres (+245), Gareth Bale (+265)

West Brom at Manchester United – Edinson Cavani (+105), Marcus Rashford (+117), Bruno Fernandes (+117), Anthony Martial (+123), Odion Ighalo (+140), Mason Greenwood (+160)

EPL Best Bet

*Aston Villa +117*

DraftKings | FanDuel

The Betting Game Plan

Aston Villa has been much better this season, currently sitting sixth in the EPL table, with a game in hand. Villa should be favored a bit heavier here hosting Brighton and their minus three point differential.

Brighton currently sits sixteenth in the EPL table, three points clear of the relegation zone. Outside of Neal Maupay, the Seagulls are getting few offensive contributions and will likely have trouble keeping up.

This article focuses on 11/14 UEFA Nations League Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Saturday 11/14 UEFA Nations League Soccer Slate and DFS Gameplan

Both EPL and the Champion’s League are both still on break. We did have some friendlies and smaller Euro 2020 Qualifier matches during the week.

However, now we have a small three game slate from the UEFA Nations League beginning at 2:45 pm ET. This slate cannot be found on FanDuel, as it is DraftKings only.

As far as the games go, Germany is a big -455 favorite vs the Ukraine, with Spain at -108 facing Switzerland, a much lesser favorite. For obvious reasons, Germany attackers should be the chalk.

In closer matches, Portugal is a +133 favorite against France, and finally Croatia +160 and Sweden +170 are pick ems.

Notabe Goal Scoring Odds

Ukraine at Germany – Timo Werner -130, Serge Gnabry -115, Leroy Sane +120, Luca Waldschmidt +120, Leon Goretzka +138

France at Portugal – Cristiano Ronaldo +130, Joao Felix +235, no one else under +240

Croatia at Sweden – No one under +240

Spain at Switzerland – Alvaro Morata +170, no one else under +240

This article focuses on 11/6 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Friday 11/6 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

Normally, we only get a single game to begin the EPL Matchweek, but have a pair of them on this Friday Slate.

Both games are similar in odds, with Brighton a -113 favorite and Southampton at -108. Danny Ings is out for Southampton, leaving Neal Maupay with the highest goal scoring odds on the slate at only +118. This in itself suggests that this will be a low scoring slate.

The Brighton attack should be led by Maupay at striker with Leonadro Trossard and Adam Lallana either alongside him on the wings or behind him. Burnley should be running out a standard three man with Chris Wood, Ashley Barnes, and Dwight McNeil.

In Danny Ing’s absence, Che Adams and Shane Long should lead the line, with Theo Walcott and Nathan Redmond on the wings. I’m sort of surprised that Southampton is still a decent favorite, as Newcastle seems like the better team on paper tomorrow.

Notabe Goal Scoring Odds

Burnley at Brighton – Neal Maupay (+118), Leandro Trossard (+235), Chris Wood (+205), Ashley Barnes (+250)

Newcastle at Southampton – Callum Wilson (+170), Che Adams (+180), Shane Long (+225)

EPL Best Bet

The Betting Game Plan

This is a tough slate bet wise, but if going for anything, you might as well aim for the under on either game’s total.

It is unlikely that either of these games go off with some of the lack of quality they possess offensively. If you want a hotter take, go with Newcastle to tie or win.

This article focuses on 11/3 UCL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Tuesday 11/3 UCL Slate and DFS Gameplan

Let’s get ready for Matchweek 3/6 of the Champion’s League Group Stages with a six game slate beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Two Big Favorites – Manchester City and Bayern Munich

This slate is largely defined by two huge favorites in Manchester City at -560 and Bayern Munich at -305. They face off with Greek outfit Olympiacos and Austrian team Red Bull Salzburg, respectively. If looking to go the stacking route or even putting together two man mini-stacks, pulling from these two teams probably makes the most sense.

I would expect both Robert Lewandowski and Kevin De Bruyne to be very popular on both sites with Joshua Kimmich right there on DraftKings.

Behind them, for Manchester City, Fernan Torres has a nice price on both sites so should eclipse Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, and Phil Foden in terms of ownership.

As for Bayern, besides Lewandowski and Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, and Thomas Muller, are all options.

Ajax

However, we can also get great value elsewhere. Ajax is favored away at lowly FC Midtjylland and is extremely cheap on both sites. This Lassina Traore has been a monster in the Dutch league, the Eriedivisie, so his $7 price tag on FanDuel is laughable. This Antony, a young Brazilian forward, hasn’t been a slouch either and is very affordable. Ajax has had a lot of turnover in the last few years, but that has resulted in some little known names who are priced rather cheaply.

Real Madrid vs. Inter Milan

Turning to Real Madrid/Inter Milan, given these two teams woes early on in the Champion’s League Group Stages, this game will have a lot of added significance. A Cinderella team from the Ukraine, Shaktar Donetsk, currently leads the group after 2/6 matches.

Beginning with the Real Madrid side, on FanDuel, Eden Hazard, who cost million Real Madrid $160 million a little over a year ago, costs the minimum of $5. Marco Ascensio is also cheap there at $13. With Karim Benzema $22 on FanDuel, I’d rather play him on DraftKings for the $8,100 price tag.

Aside from Hazard, perhaps my favorite play from Real Madrid is Marcelo on DraftKings. He continues to rack up the peripheral stats anytime he is in. Sergio Ramos is always in play for tournaments given his role as the penalty kick taker.

On the other side, Romelu Lukaku is out for Inter Milan, so Lautaro Martinez will likely operate as the lone striker. I think this team on the whole makes more sense on DraftKings, where it gives you a ton of cheap midfielders who can all get you from around seven to ten points. If going the stars and scrubs route, one or two of them might come in handy.

Liverpool v. Atalanta

The Atalanta/Liverpool game should be a good one. Usually, Atalanta is a DFS darling with their fast paced, open play style. However, given the matchups, I prefer Liverpool as a contrarian way to go.

Atalanta’s defensive liabilities puts the forwards Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Diego Jota in play as pivots off of some of the other high priced options. The two high-flying wing defensemen Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are expensive, but are both capable of big games here. That said, I wouldn’t force them into your build on either site as I am not sure they are optimal on this slate.

The final game, Porto v. Marseilles, is the least interesting for DFS. A Moussa Marega one off here/there is fine, but this is not somewhere I would try to go overboard.

This article focuses on 11/1 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Sunday 11/1 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

We are stuck waiting on the third of six Champion’s League match weeks beginning until Tuesday. However, before that, there is a a small EPL Sunday slate.

On DraftKings, it is only two games, whereas on FanDuel, they’re running three.

Everton (+105) and Manchester United (+100) are favored here, with Tottenham “FanDuel only” (-162) the biggest favorite on the slate. Everton has a lot of injury issues. Given the fact that there are a couple of expensive studs to spend up for, this value should come in handy.

All three of these teams are in very good form, providing us a number of appealing options in each price range.

Key Goal Scoring Odds

Everton at Newcastle – Dominic Calvert-Lewin (+123), Callum Wilson (+170)

Arsenal at Manchester United – Pierre Emerick-Aubemeyang (+150), Marcus Rashford (+180), Bruno Fernandes (+180), Alexandre Lacazette (+220)

Brighton at Tottenham – Harry Kane (-120), Son Heung-Min (+116), Neal Maupay (+200), Lucas Moura (+255)

EPL Best Bet

*Under 2.5 Goals – Everton/Newcastle – ML – 1.1 Units (-113 DK Sportsbook) *

DraftKings | FanDuel

The Betting Game Plan

This is a really tough slate for betting purposes. Everton will be without it’s main creative impetus James Rodriguez, attacker Richarlison, plus wing defender Lucas Digne.

Therefore, Everton will be extremely short handed. The anticipated replacements, such as Bernard and Allan, are not quite as offensive oriented. Meanwhile, Newcastle isn’t exactly an offensive powerhouse even when healthy. As a result, I don’t mind the under 2.5 total here.

11/1 EPL FanDuel Rankings

Forward/Midfield

  • 8. Bernard – Everton – $7
  • 9. Gylfi Sigurdsson – Everton – $12
  • 10. Daniel James – Manchester United – $10

Defense

  • 1. Niels Nkounkou – Everton – $5
  • 2. Emil Krafth – Newcastle – $10

  • 5. Jamal Lewis – Newcastle – $8

  2. Hugo Lloris – Tottenham – $14

  5. Mason Greenwood/Edinson Cavani – Manchester United – $6,700/$7,600

This article focuses on 10/28 UCL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Wednesday 10/28 UCL Slate and DFS Gameplan

We are wrapping up Matchweek 2/6 of the Champion’s League Group Stages with a six game slate beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Originally, this slate was supposed to feature Messi vs. Ronaldo, but as CR7 is still out with Covid-19, only one of the two superstars will be playing.

Dortmund is the biggest favorite on the slate at -278, followed by Sevilla at -182. Outside of that, every other team is plus odds to win.

As a result, it makes more sense to try to pick out pieces than stack a team other than the two mentioned above.

On FanDuel, both Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho seem cheap. DraftKings also has a number of pricing discrepancies as well. Most of our exploitations are listed below, but be sure to price compare, if playing on both sites.

UCL Best Bet

PSG/Dortmund, PSG/Chelsea or PSG/Dortmund/Chelsea – DraftKings Sportsbook*

DraftKings | FanDuel

The Betting Game Plan

I’d go a little light here betting wise, maybe 1-1.2 units. However, I would build around PSG and add on Dortmund and/or Chelsea. An alternative approach would be to bet on the PSG ML with either a Neymar or Kylian Mbappe anytime goal.

10/28 UCL FanDuel Rankings

This article focuses on 10/26 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Monday 10/26 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

There is a huge Champion’s League slate on Tuesday, but first we have a tiny two game EPL Monday Slate.

Tottenham is the biggest favorite on the slate at -180 and with their recent form, both Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min are virtually unfadeable. Outside of the two Hot Spur studs, Neal Maupay offers similar scoring odds to the pair and Matheus Pereira is a strong play as well.

This is a slate for which I would lean really heavily on the rankings below. FanDuel offers us a couple bargains in terms of pricing, as opposed to DraftKings. If you play both sites, it might be better to just play FanDuel today.

Key Goal Scoring Odds

West Brom at Brighton – Neal Maupay (-108), Leandro Trossard (+190), Callum Robinston (+295), Matheus Pereira (+420)

Tottenham at Burnley – Harry Kane (-117), Son Heung-Min (+110), Lucas Moura (+260), Chris Wood (+230), Ashley Barnes (+270)

EPL Best Bet

*Tottenham – ML – 1.2 Units (-175 FD Sportsbook, 182 DK and Bet MGM Sportsbooks) *

DraftKings | FanDuel

The Betting Game Plan

It is only a two game slate and there is simply not a whole lot to bet on. Therefore, if you do want to get some action, the Tottenham ML is probably the way to go. The Hot Spurs ended up getting snakebit last Sunday, surrendering a 3-0 lead in the final ten minutes. However, with as well as they have been playing, at least offensively, they should get back into the win column today.

10/26 EPL FanDuel Rankings

Forward/Midfield

  • 1. Harry Kane – Tottenham – $23
  • 2. Son Heung-Min – Tottenham – $22
  • 3. Matheus Pereira – West Brom – $16
  • 4. Neal Maupay – Brighton – $19
  • 5. Solly March – Brighton – $13
  • 6. Lucas Moura – Tottenham – $16
  • 7. Leandro Trossard – Brighton – $16
  • 8. Ashley Barnes – Burnley – $15
  • 9. Callum Robinson – West Brom – $18
  • 10. Johan Berg Gudmundsson – Burnley – $5

Defense

  • 1. Chris Taylor – Burnley – $9
  • 2. Adam Webster – Brighton – $9
  • 3. James Tarkowski – Burnley – $15
  • 4. Branislav Ivanovic – West Brom – $13
  • 5. Ahmed Hegazi – West Brom – $12

Goalies

  1. Hugo Lloris – Tottenham – $14
  2. Mat Ryan – Brighton – $12

10/26 EPL DraftKings Rankings

Forward

  1. Harry Kane – Tottenham – $12,100
  2. Son Heung-Min – Tottenham – $10,800
  3. Dwight McNeil – Burnley – $8,300
  4. Ashley Barnes – Burnley – $5,200
  5. Neal Maupay – Brighton – $9,100

Midfield

  • 1. Son Heung-Min – Tottenham – $10,800
  • 2. Matheus Periera – West Brom – $8,600
  • 3. Solly March – Brighton – $7,500
  • 4. Dwight McNeil – Burnley – $8,300
  • 5. Johan Berg Gudmundsson – Burnley – $4,300

Defense

  • 1. Darnell Furlong – West Brom – $4,600
  • 2. Serge Aurier – Tottenham – $5,300
  • 3. Sergio Regulion – Tottenham – $5,900
  • 4. Charlie Taylor – Burnley – $4,900
  • 5. Adam Webster – Brighton – $2,600

Goalies

  1. Hugo Lloris – Tottenham – $5,800
  2. Sam Johnstone – West Brom – $4,200

This article focuses on 10/24 EPL Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large.

Saturday 10/24 EPL Slate and DFS Gameplan

After a week filled with Champion’s League games, we are back to English Premier League play, starting at the regular 9:00 a.m. ET lock time. The slate will be spread out over three games, with one game at a time, on both sites.

Liverpool is the biggest favorite on the slate at -400 with the other games featuring teams at plus odds. As a result, Mo Salah has the highest goal scoring odds on the slate at -176 with his attacking mate Sadio Mane at -121, the only other player at minus odds.

Aside from Salah and Mane, Roberto Firmino is very cheap on DraftKings and fills a forward spot, so a cash play there. However, keep in mind he has not scored at Anfield going back quite awhile.

On the defensive side, Andy Robertson has been outplaying Trent Alexander-Arnold recently and taking corners, so he is the priority of the two Liverpool wingbacks on DraftKings at the moment. While Adrian has not been terrific in net, he did grab a clean sheet mid-week against Ajax in the Champion’s League, and is in a good spot here.

As for the remaining games, they are tossups odds-wise. However, as you can see from the rankings below, they still offer plenty of value. As far as notable goal scoring odds, a list has been added below.

Key Goal Scoring Odds

Sheffield United at Liverpool – Mohammed Salah (-176), Sadio Mane (-121), Diego Jota “if starting” (-106), Roberto Firmino (+163)

Crystal Palace at Fulham – Aleksander Mitrovic (+140), Wilfried Zaha (+200)

Chelsea at Manchester United – Timo Werner (+170), Bruno Fernandes (+188), Marcus Rashford/Christian Pulisic (+210), Mason Greenwood/Kai Havertz (+280), Hakim Ziyech (+320)

EPL Best Bet

*Liverpool/Bayern Munich ML Parlay- (-189 BET MGM), (-200 DraftKings Sportsbook), (-213 FanDuel Sportsbook)*

DraftKings | FanDuel

The Betting Game Plan

With everything seemingly fairly priced and some unpredictability in regards to the Chelsea and Manchester United game, it’s time to turn elsewhere. We get much better value taking the Liverpool ML and combining it with the Bayern Munich ML. The Bavarians look practically unbeatable right now and despite any recent slippage, Liverpool has still retained solid form while playing at Anfield.

10/24 EPL FanDuel Rankings

Forward/Midfield

  • 1. Mohammed Salah – Liverpool – $22
