10/26 NHL – Main Slate

Top Three Lines

Boston One – David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron– It’s a Stanley Cup Final rematch and I’d expect a little revenge for the Bruins. Pasta can’t miss right now and along with Brad Marchand, they are the two priorities. Although I do like the full line as they get the lion’s share of the B’s production. They might go a little under owned “wishful thinking?” given the matchup with the Blues and Jordan Binnington, but I’d make sure to at least grab a little exposure.

Colorado One – Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, J.T. Compher – Mikko Rantanen’s injury takes some of the sting out of the top line but also helps to make it more affordable. The Ducks have allowed at least two goals in their last six games. In the alternative, I don’t mind John Gibson if you want to hedge this game as he should face considerable volume in terms of shots on the road in the Pepsi Center.

Toronto One – Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Andreas Johnsson – It’s Hockey Night in Canada! This line is underpriced on DraftKings and should be the chalk there. With William Nylander finally picking up some traction with points in his last three games, this line has both floor and upside and is my favorite if using a full line in cash.

David Pastrnak – Over 4.5 Fantasy Points – As you can already tell, I’m in love with the Pasta. This seems like a very safe bet.

Morgan Reilly – Over 3.5 Fantasy Points – Between regular and power play time this is a very modest number.

We have finally reached one of my favorite slates of the season. Five games, solid matchups and clear plays, doesn’t get much better than that! Let’s get into the 10/25 NHL DFS slate!

10/25 NHL DFS Centers

Auston Matthews (FD $8,400 | DK $7,700) – With Tavares sidelined with a finger injury Matthews is set as the clear cut top center and will face off against the San Jose Sharks, who are on the second half of an away back to back, only two days removed from a flight with a three hour time difference, so jet lag has to set in.

Jack Hughes (FD $4,600 | DK $5,000) – This year’s first overall draft pick is finally getting his time to shine with an injury to top-line center Nico Hischier. Hughes is slotting in on the top pairing and the top power-play unit alongside superstar Taylor Hall. If Hischer returns to the top line Hughes loses a bit of value tonight.
Honorable Mention: Jack Eichel

10/25 NHL DFS Wingers

Victor Olofsson (FD $6,300 | DK $5,600) – The Swedish rookie has made quite an impression to start the season, absolutely lighting it up for the Sabres through 11 games. He has already posted six goals, all of which came on the man advantage, as well as three assists. Olofsson is also seeing top-line minutes and playing alongside top talent in Eichel and Reinhart. Given the small slate he’s a must have.

JT Miller (FD $5,800 | DK $6,100) – Miller is coming off a strong two-assist performance against the Red Wings’ last game and will get an opportunity to improve upon his record in his last five against a tired Washington side, which last night blew a 3-1 lead against the Edmonton Oilers. Miller has recorded five points in his last five games (3 goals, 2 assists)
HM: Tom Wilson, Nick Schmaltz

10/25 NHL DFS Defensemen

Jake Muzzin (FD $4,300 | DK $4,400) – Muzzin has been steadily averaging over 20 minutes of ice time a game and has posted four assists in his last four appearances. On top of that, he will play against the aforementioned tired San Jose side. As far as Leafs defensemen go Muzzin is a bargain.

John Carlson (FD $7,300 | DK $7,100) – Carlson has maintained his scoring touch but that comes with a price. Carlson has been in the upper echelon in terms of offensive defensemen and recorded another assist last night against the Oilers, extending his point streak to nine games, along with seeing 25 minutes of ice-time. He now has five goals and 13 assists through 12 games and has posted 29 shots and 25 blocked shots, truly a spectacular stat line. Given that he played last night, exercise caution but Carlson is the real deal, a true stud defenceman.
HM: Rasmus Ristolainen

10/25 NHL DFS Goalies

10/24 NHL DFS Goalies

Thomas Greiss (FD $7,700 | DK $8,100) – Greiss will enter the Canadian Tire Centre tonight with a two-game winning streak and give Ottawa’s abysmal offence, he figures to improve to a three-game winning streak. Ottawa ranks 5th worst in the league for goals, the bottom of the league in power-play conversion and 6th worst in shooting percentage. The Isles are sixth-best in the league and third-best on the slate in goals-against average.

Jacob Markstrom (FD $8,300 | DK $7,700) – Markstrom will be looking to extend his four-game winning streak tonight against the tired Capitals and despite the inherent risk with playing a goalie against the high flying Capitals top line, Markstrom has been scary consistent, allowing exactly two goals in each of his last five contests, with over 30 saves in his last four. Vancouver is tied for the lowest goals-against average in the league. Given the high volume of saves and the low number of goals against, Markstrom is a “safer” pick in goal tonight.
HM: Linus Ullmark

10/25 NHL DFS STACKS OF THE NIGHT

Toronto Maple Leafs 1 – The Sharks have been averaging 3.4 goals allowed per game and 32.4 shots per game. Aside from being tired after playing against the Canadiens last night the Sharks will be icing a goalie with a 3.46 GAA and a .894 Save Percentage along with a weak 2-4-1 record, with neither win coming on the road for an away record of 0-3. Given the Leafs are averaging 3.64 goals per game, this may not have been the homecoming Marleau is hoping for.
HM: New Jersey Devils 1, Buffalo Sabres 1

10/25 NHL DFS Game Stacks

Washington vs Vancouver – We’re going for the late game for today’s recommended game stack. Although, it doesn’t seem like a game stack is ideal for tonight’s slate this would probably be the best fit as both teams have potent and affordable offences and take a lot of shots.

10/25 NHL DFS Punts
Josh Bailey (FD $5,400 | DK $5,100) Bailey has been finding the back of the net as of late with two goals and two assists in his last three games. Along with playing on the Isles top line, the Winger also appears on the top power-play unit and last game played a whopping 19 minutes of ice time. Bailey’s usage figures to be rather low but against the Sens, he can be the spark plug the Isles need to walk away from this matchup with two points.

The Leafs allow a lot of shots to get past their defence, 33.7 to be exact, good for 5th worst in the league. Luckily for them steady Freddy has been just that stopping a vast majority of pucks coming his way. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for Martin Jones and he may get peppered this game but I don’t see him having a strong performance against the Leafs. Take the over on saves for Andersen and the under on saves for Jones

Cash with Flash Best Bets had another day that could have been a beautiful day end up a .500 day thanks to a couple of funny NHL games. We hit the Clippers-Warriors game and we hit the San Jose Sharks defeating the Montreal Canadians. That underdog Sharks win gave Cash with Flash Best Bets a winning Thursday night.

ThatClippers team is going to be deadly when Paul George returns. They mangled GoldenState last night and it’s going to be the rare occasion when we get a price like-1 point with the Clippers this season.

NBABetting Trends

NBAUnderdogs are 11-5 ATS this season and road teams went 3-0 last night and are10-6 ATS and we will be keeping a daily eye on this and hopefully we can takeadvantage of this somewhere down the road.

NHL Tonight

There aresix NHL games on the sheet and Cashwith Flash Best Bets like a pair of games tonight.

Colorado Avalanche vs Vegas Golden Knights 6:00 pm ET

Cash withFlash Best Bets: Vegas -160, Under 6.5 Goals

This matchupis at 3:00 pm Vegas time and the Canucks are ending a six-game road trip butwere able to go back to Colorado for a couple of days rest before heading toVegas. The Knights are coming off a three-game road trip and have also had acouple of days rest before this game.

ImportantTrends

Colorado is1-8 ATS when playing with three or more days rest over their last two seasonsand Vegas is 19-6 ATS in home games when playing against a team with an above.500 record in the first half of the season over their last three seasons. Intheir last six meetings, the UNDER is 4-2 over the past three seasons.

Colorado ismissing Mikko Rantanentoday and he’s a big part of what the Avalanche does and has five goals and sevenassists this season.

Cashwith Flash Best Bets suggests playing the UNDER if you can get 6.5 goals or more and wesuggest playing the Knights to defeat the Avalanche tonight.

San Jose Sharks vs Toronto MapleLeafs 7:00 pm ET

Cash with Flash Best Bets: Maple Leafs -165

This is a7:00 pm matchup and the Sharks are playing their third road game in four nightsand coming off a Thursday night underdog win over Montreal. Toronto is playing itsthird game in five nights and is hoping to end a two-game losing streak.

Maple Leafscenter John Tavaresis listed as OUT for this game as he continues to deal with a broken finger.

ImportantTrends

San Jose is16-20 ATS over its last two seasons vs non-conference opponents. Toronto is 3-1ATS and 3-1 vs San Jose over the past two seasons. Over their last two seasons, two of those four games have gone OVER the total.

Cashwith Flash Best Bets likes the more rested team and would suggest playing the Leafs todefeat the Sharks tonight. We also suggest playing the OVER in thisgame as these two teams have combined to score 34 goals and have allowed 30goals over their past five games.

NBATonight

The National Basketball Association has nine games on tap and Cash with Flash Best Bets are interested in the following NBA games.

MinnesotaTimberwolves -5.5 over Charlotte Hornets

BostonCeltics -3 over Toronto Raptors

PortlandTrail Blazers -2.5 over Sacramento Kings

The NHL has presented us with another large Thursday night, there are 10-game scheduled for tonight’s slate. So we will go for a position by position breakdown tonight. There are some intriguing plays and strong stacks to consider, let’s get into it!

Sign up NOW for WIN DAILY Premium Gold right here! DFS Pro Cheat Sheets, projections, wagering info, 24/7 expert chats with our DFS Pros and more!

10/24 NHL DFS Centers

Logan Couture (FD $7,300 | DK $5,800) – Couture has put up an impressive seven points in his last seven games. Although not producing and spectacular performances, Couture has been a consistent point producer and figures to be a solid stackable center in Cash games.

Nick Bonino (FD $3,900 | DK $4,000) – Despite being on the third line Bonino has had strong performances as of late with four points in his last four games. Bonino has an extremely low price tag and figures to be a strong GPP play against a defensively questionable side in the Minnestoa Wild. Bonino has also seen an upward trend in his ice-time and figures to start on Nashvilles second power play unit.
Honorable Mention: Sean Couturier, Jack Eichel

10/24 NHL DFS Wingers

Denis Malgin (FD $3,600 | DK $3,700) – Despite being on the third line, Malgin has begun an impressive three-game point streak managing to score two goals on just three shots, with one coming on the power play. Given Malgin’s price, he works better as a GPP punt play rather than a stack.

Travis Konecny (FD $6,500 | DK $6,600) – Konecny has had a superb start to the season registering a point in all but one of his seven games, giving him 10 points entering tonight’s game, Konecny works well in a stack alongside his linemates Lindblom and Couturier and figures to see around 17 minutes of ice-time including power-play time.
HM: Nick Schmaltz, Kappo Kakkko

10/24 NHL DFS Defensemen

Ryan Ellis (FD $5,300 | DK $5,800) – Ellis has been a monster when it comes to assists this season with nine in his last five games. Ellis will play tonight against a Minnesota side with a very lackluster defense and an abysmal 1-5-0 away record. Despite a strong start to the season by Stalock, Nashville’s offense is simply overwhelming and Ellis figures to see around 23 minutes of ice time tonight.

John Carlson (FD $7,100 | DK $7,200) – Much like his teammate, Zibanejad Trouba hit the ground running in his first three games of the season with a goal and three assists while averaging 24 minutes of ice-time per game. Trouba carries a price tag on the higher end but works well in a Rangers stack alongside Buchnevich, Panarin and Zibanejad, given that they all play together on the Rangers top power play unit.
HM: Tony DeAngelo

10/24 NHL DFS Goalies

10/24 NHL DFS Goalies

Pekka Rinne (FD $8,900 | DK $8,300) – Rinne is currently 5-0-1 to start the season with the sole loss coming by way of shootout. Although his puck stopping abilities have varied depending on the night, he has been able to get the wins. Given that his team is top of the league in goals while his opponents are near the bottom of the league in goals, I see no issue with him pulling out another win in Smashville.

Carter Hutton (FD $8,700 | DK $7,400) – Hutton has held on to his strong form and will be taking it to the Big Apple tonight against the slumping Rangers. Hutton has simply been unreal this season with a perfect 6-0-0 record a GAA at 1.66 and an astronomical save percentage of .943. The Rangers are on a five game losing skid while the Sabres will look to embark on a four-game winning streak tonight. The Rangers still have potent offensive pieces so exercise caution when playing Hutton.
HM: Darcy Kuemper

10/24 NHL DFS STACKS & CASH PLAY OF THE NIGHT

Washington Capitals 1 – Ovechkin has really been lighting the lamp this season with points in his last eight games, not to mention leading the league in shots at 50 through 11 games. His linemates have been similarly impressive with Carlson and Oshie both holding lengthy point streaks this season. In John Carlson’s case, there has only been one game in which he did not register a point. Expect high ownership from this stack but it is the clear cut play of the night
HM: St. Louis Blues 1, Buffalo Sabres 1

10/24 NHL DFS Game Stacks

Philadelphia vs Chicago – Both teams have been very prone to allowing goals this season and both currently have losing records because of it. To add to the damage both teams are set to start their weaker goalies for tonight’s matchup. Although Elliott’s numbers have slightly improved this season, there is not enough of a shift to recognize it as anything more than a statistical blip as his GAA has relatively remained the same. For this game stack, go with Chicago Blackhawks 2 and Philadelphia Flyers 2

10/17 NHL DFS Punts
Kirby Dach (FD $3,200 | DK $3,400) Kirby Dach scored Chicago’s only goal in a 2-1 loss to the Golden Knights in his first game on the second line. Dach contributes to the affordability of Chicago’s second line and is a must-play alongside Patrick Kane.

Brian Boyle (FD $3,000 | DK $3,200) – Brian Boyle is set to play on the Panthers’ second line for his second start of the season. In his first start, he only played 14 minutes but still managed to record three shots and three blocked shots. Given his low price tag, he is ideal in a bargain stack alongside Hoffman and Connolly

10/24 NHL DFS: Monkey Knife Fight Picks of the NightClick Here and Play These Picks for 100% Matching Bonus!

Both Rinne and Stalock have had strong starts to the season and although I think Nashville has a relatively easy win here I think both goalies will get reach the over in Saves

Cash with the Flash Best Bets is coming off an interesting Wednesday where we ended up 4-4 on the day and I suppose it’s okay because we didn’t lose but it isn’t okay as we didn’t win either. Cash with Flash Best Bets would prefer we won every game we played but we also realize winning every game just isn’t possible, but we really do try.

A 2-0 NHLday was a good thing. A 2-4 day in the NBA sucked big time but what can we do?

NBA Dogs Were Barking

True NBAunderdogs had a big night Wednesday. Cash with Flash Best Bets will continue tomonitor this to be sure this is a real trend or just an opening week aberration.Have a look.

Pistons+7 at Pacers, won 119-110
Hornets +3.5 vs Chicago, won 126-125
Cavs +9.5 at Magic, lost 94-85
TWolves +3 at Nets, won 127-126 in OT
Knicks +10.5 at Spurs, lost 120-110
Wizards +9 at Mavs, lost 108-100
Thunders +9 at Jazz, lost 100-95

NBA Tonight

LosAngeles Clippers vs GoldenState Warriors

Cash with Flash Best Bets: Clippers -2

This gameopened with Los Angeles a one-point underdog and it’s currently sitting at Clippers-2. The Warriors had a difficult time dealing with Kawhi Leonardin last season’s Finals and the I don’t see them stopping him tonight eitherand Leonard has a better supporting cast in Los Angeles than he did in Toronto.Golden State has Stephen Curryand DraymondGreen, but their defense takes a huge hit without Klay Thompsonon the floor. I also think the Clippers bench is better than the Warriors. Cashwith Flash Best Bets suggests playing the Clippers to defeat Golden Statetonight and cover the two points.

NHL Tonight

There are10 games on the National Hockey League schedule and Cash with Flash Best Betshas some interest in tonight’s slate.

Buffalo Sabres -120 over New York Rangers

San Jose Sharks +115 over Montreal Canadians

Arizona Coyotes +110 over New York Islanders

Hey everyone, we’re back with another edition of the Daily Hot Shot here at Win Daily! Tonight, we have two NHL games for the main slate. We’ll do a quick game-by-game breakdown followed by locks, punts, defensemen and goalies. Remember: for two-game slates it may be acceptable to play skaters against your goalie but its never advisable unless it’s in an attempt to create a variance.

Sign up NOW for WIN DAILY Premium Gold right here! DFS Pro Cheat Sheets, projections, wagering info, 24/7 expert chats with our DFS Pros and more!

Detroit Red Wings vs Ottawa Senators – Ottawa is in serious trouble this season. If they’re not careful they could quickly become the league’s laughingstock with an 1-7-0 record thus far. Tonight’s game will be Ottawa’s most “winnable” matchup since the start of the season as both teams are looking to end lengthy losing streaks. Neither goalie is particularly good in this matchup and I can see this one getting ugly for both sides fast. I have skaters on both sides of this matchup in play.

Pittsburgh Penguins vs Tampa Bay Lightning – Given that the Pens lost to the Panthers last night and now have to take a bus up to Tampa Bay, this definitely isn’t their ideal situation. Tonight will be the second half of a back-to-back and the Pens will start backup goalie Tristan Jarry, who is 1-1 to start the season but overall hasn’t found much success at the NHL level.

Pittsburgh has also had its fair share of injury trouble to begin the season with four top-six forwards and one top-four defenseman on the disabled list. For Tampa Bay, tonight represents a pristine opportunity to set their season on the right track against a team that’s back peddling. The Bolts threw their lines in the blender, which has provided us with excellent value plays littered throughout the slate and increased the number of viable targets tonight.

Best Skate Forward

10/23 NHL DFS: Locks of the Night
1. Nikita Kucherov (FD $8,400 | DK $7,500) – Last season’s MVP, Kucherov has picked up right where he left off with eight points in eight games to start the season. Now that he is off that pricey top line, he is much more stackable with affordable pieces that complement him on even strength. Against Jarry, Kuch can do some damage.
2. Anthony Mantha (FD $6,400 | DK $6,800) – Despite not maintaining his electric start to the season, Mantha has still regularly produced offensively for the Red Wings and has been averaging just under 20 minutes of ice time per night.

Tonight, the Red Wings are facing off against Craig Anderson, who has proven yet again to be one of the worst starters in the league, not that backup Anders Nilsson is doing too much better. Expect Mantha to get on the board tonight.
3. Brady Tkachuk (FD $5,200 | DK $6,300) – Tkachuk is Ottawa’s clear cut best forward and despite the fact that I don’t think Ottawa will take this one, Brady will at least give them a fighting chance. Brady is averaging around 19 minutes per game and appears on the top power-play unit. Although his team has been atrocious defensively, his opponents haven’t done much better, with Detroit allowing more goals per game than Ottawa through nine games.

If this becomes a true barn-burner, Tkachuk will have to get involved in the scoring.
Honorable Mention: Steven Stamkos

Punting on a Wednesday Night

10/23 NHL DFS: Punts of the Night
1. Anthony Cirelli (FD $4,500 | DK $5,000) – As mentioned earlier, Tampa Bay’s lines hit the blender, which placed Cirelli alongside the aforementioned Nikita Kucherov. Cirelli has been able to find the scoresheet with four assists in eight games while averaging around 18 minutes of ice time per game. Alongside Kuch, I can see this number go up. Again, Tampa Bay will be facing a tired squad with a backup tendy at their own barn.
2. Vladislav Namestikov (FD $5,200 | DK $5,000) – Since being acquired from the Rangers, Namestikov has been one of Ottawas top performers, despite not playing on Ottawa’s top line. Against Jonathan Bernier, Namestikov should be able to light the lamp but I remain cautious without stronger line support.
3. Mathieu Joseph (FD $3,600 | DK $4,800) – Joseph has tallied three points this season despite only averaging around 12 minutes per game. That ought to change as the new lines pair him alongside Steven Stamkos. The young winger still poses a significant risk but is very affordable and easily stackable with the former first overall pick.
HM: Connor Brown

The Defense Never Rests

10/23 NHL DFS: Defensemen of the Night
1. Filip Hronek (FD $3,900 | DK $4,600) – Hronek has been playing crazy minutes for the Wings this season and has put points to show for it with a goal and three assists through nine games. Hronek is extremely affordable and pairs well alongside Detroit’s pricey top line. Of course, the Craig Anderson effect may result in Hronek ending up on the score sheet.
2. Thomas Chabot (FD $5,300 | DK $6,200) – Probably Ottawa’s only capable defenseman, Chabot anchors the team’s top line and the top power-play unit, posting on average, almost 27 minutes of ice time each night. To his credit, Chabot is leading Ottawa’s defenseman in points with six in eight games.

The real draw to Chabot, however, is his peripheral stats. Chabot has been averaging around two blocked shots and three shots per game, adding to his DFS total at the end of the night
3. Kevin Shattenkirk (FD $5,700 | DK $5,100) – A bit of a stealth pick here, Shattenkirk is experiencing a bit of a renaissance this season with the Lightning. Through eight games, Shattenkirk has put up four goals and three assists while averaging around 21 minutes of ice time per game. Shattenkirk will find himself with Tampa’s second power play unit and will find ice time with the top three stars as well.
HM: Kris Letang

Yes, Virginia, Jonathan Bernier is the Answer

10/23 NHL DFS: Goalies of the Night
1. Andrei Vasilevskiy (FD $8,500 | DK $8,000) – Despite a weak performance in his last start, it seems to be nothing more than a blip on the reigning Vezina winner’s radar. Vas will be up against a tired and broken Pens team and should face his fair share of shots, but will be able to secure a win tonight.
2. Jonathan Bernier (FD $7,200 | DK $7,500) – I honestly can’t believe I am recommending Bernier, but that is what a two-game slate against Ottawa has brought us to. Bernier has been mediocre this season but has still shown flashes of his true self. The only thing going for him tonight is his opponent.

Besides the fact that the Sens are on a four-game losing streak, Ottawa has one of the worst goals per game averages, only just slightly better than the Stars, who are last in the category. To their credit, Ottawa has averaged a fair amount of shots per game but has trouble finding the back of the net. In this case, that benefits Bernier, who happens to be a super GPP play, even to the point where a punt or two against him may work.

For this prop, I cannot see Ottawa cruising past 30 shots. Even so, I do not see Bernier stopping all the shots he faces tonight. Choose the under for Bernier’s save totals.
As mentioned earlier, Chabot is the King of peripheral stats as far as tonight’s slate goes. To even give him the bonus 0.5 is interesting. I recommend choosing Chabot to get more Shots + Blocked Shots than Larkin.

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets is back for another round of sports betting information andhopefully more winning picks like the Raptors covering the seven points lastnight. It took overtime, but that’s okay because Cashwith Flash Best Bets has been on the wrong side of a bunch of NHLovertime games, so we were due for some overtime luck to go our way.

The National Basketball Association has a full slate of games on tap and the main thing Cash with Flash Best Bets wants you to remember about the NBA is this;

It’s a longseason.

What we mean by this is we don’t have a sense of urgency as we do with the NFL and NCAA. The season is much longer and we don’t need to chase every game and wager more than we should on any one game because a LOT can happen in these early games.

Coaches don’thave their rotations set; some players are slow starters while other playersget off to a fast start and then fade away.

The NBA is uniquethis season as the majority of the 2019 Free Agent class-switched teams andthat affects the chemistry of the teams and more importantly the defense.

Bankroll Management

Cash with Flash Best Bets can’t stress enough how important managing your bankroll is to your long-term success. I don’t know your personal financial situation or what your goals are but hopefully, you are using some type of bankroll management plan to help you reach them.

Slack Chat

Our sports betting slack chat seems to be increasing inparticipation and that’s a good thing. That channel is available for our Goldand Platinum subscribers and a good way for you to get some one-on-one adviceand someone is always there to help with your questions and offer advice ifneeded.

Detroit Pistons vs Indiana Pacers

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets: Indiana -7.5 Points

Indianaopened as a five-point favorite and when Pistons forward Blake Griffin wasruled out the spread quickly jumped to 7.5 points. Indiana had a top-threedefense last season and the acquisition of MalcolmBrogdon and T.J. Warrenenhances that defense.

Detroit had a Top 15 defense last season and look for summer free-agent signees Derrick Rose and Markieff Morris to contribute right away. Morris will likely take Griffin’s minutes and he will bring a toughness to the frontcourt.

The Pacers are at home and they’ll be excited to return to the court after a very successful season. They won’t have Victor Oladipo in the lineup for tonight’s tilt but haven’t had him on the floor since January 23, 2019, and still finished as the fourth seed. Indiana has the better starting unit and a better bench and Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the wood and playing the Pacers to cover the 7.5 points spread tonight.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic

Cash withFlash Best Bets: Orlando Magic -8 Points

Clevelandwas one of the worst teams in the NBA last season and will likely be again in2020. That’s what happens when the best player in the league leaves withoutcompensation. The Cavaliers still have All-Star Kevin Lovealong with TristanThompson, Larry NanceJr, and JordanClarkson but for how much longer is anyone’s guess. They also have rookieNBA Head Coach John Beilein at the helm. Their key acquisition thissummer was first-round draft pick Darius Garlandand BrandonKnight and that should tell you all you need to know about theCavaliers.

Orlandoadded Al-Farouq Aminu to the team this summer and he’ll make last seasonseighth-ranked defense that much better. The Magic frontcourt of Nikola Vucevic,AaronGordon and Jonathan Isaacare much better than anything the Cavaliers can send out on the floor. Cashwith the Flash Best Bets suggests laying the spread and taking theMagic to convincingly defeat the Cavaliers in this contest.

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets likes the following NBA games tonight.

ChicagoBulls -3 over Charlotte Hornets

Philadelphia76ers -5 over Boston Celtics

SanAntonio Spurs -10 over New York Knicks

Utah Jazz-9 over Oklahoma City Thunder

The NationalHockey League has two games on tap and Cash with Flash Best Bets like bothgames.

OttawaSenators -130 over Detroit Red Wings

Tampa BayLightning -190 over Pittsburgh Penguins

Cash with Flash Best Bets had another winning NFL weekend and we’re happy you’re taking advantage of the work being done here. We’re mostly excited on our SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio appearance this past Saturday evening on the Win Daily show. We made the calls that led to a rousing 3-1 success. Cash with Flash Best Bets gets even more excited when people take the information provided in this daily column and Cash with the Flash.

https://twitter.com/TheTnasty32/status/1185777156162498560?s=20

The “Teddy” he’s referring to is Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The gentleman behind the Twitter account used the info I provided on the SiriusXM Show on Saturday night and used it to Cash with the Flash.

Bridgewater is now 20-2 ATS as a starting quarterback when he starts a game against a non-conference or non-divisional foe and that is a useful trend that we’ve used at Cash with the Flash Best Bets to win underdog wagers on the Saints in successive NFL weekends.

I write the Cash with Flash Best Bets daily column for one specific reason; to give you as much information as I can find so that you the reader can make an informed choice and hopefully make some money.

NFL Underdogs

The underdogs didn’t fare as well this past weekend but havean overall record of 59-43-2 this season and had you played every underdog thisseason you would be profitable.

NFL Road Teams

NFL road teams have done well through seven weeks and a63-38-2 ATS record is nothing to sneeze at. Catch an under-valued road dawg likeNew Orleans against over-valued home teams like the paper tiger Chicago Bearsor Jacksonville Jaguars and that’s money in the bank.

Bankroll Management

Can’t stress enough how important managing your bankroll is to your long-term success. I don’t know your personal financial situation or what your goals are but hopefully, you are using some type of a bankroll management plan to help you reach them.

Monday NightFootball

NewEngland Patriots vs New York Jets8:20 pm ET

Cash with Flash Best Bets: Patriots -9 points

The Patriots boast the best defense in the National Football League and their offense isn’t too shabby. Wide receiver Josh Gordon and running back Rex Burkhead are both listed as out for the Patriots tonight but I don’t think they are going to need them tonight against the 16th ranked Jets defense.

New England isn’t what we would call an explosive offense and allow the situation to dictate what they need to do, and the offense gets the job done. The Jets offense is still a work in progress under quarterback Sam Darnold and they will have trouble moving the ball consistently against what could be the best defense in NFL history. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests playing the Patriots to cover the spread and beat the New York Jets on Monday night.

NHL Hockey

Cash with Flash Best Bets has looked at tonight’s four-game slate and suggests playing the following money line wagers.

Vegas Golden Knights -125 over Philadelphia Flyers -105

Colorado Avalanche +115 over St Louis Blues -135

Toronto Maple Leafs -190 over Columbus Blue Jackets +170

10/19 NHL DFS Centers

Alexander Kerfoot (FD $4,600 | DK $3,600) – Kerfoot has gotten an upgrade to the second line for tonight’s matchup with Tavares being sidelined with a finger injury. He is set to see an increase in ice-time and will play alongside Mitch Marner during even strength.

Sean Couturier (FD $6,900 | DK $5,700) – Has averaged 20 minutes a game centering the top line and second power play unit. Couturier has two assists in his last two games and has racked up 11 shots. Couturier pairs well alongside Konecny and Provorov
Honorable Mention: Christian Dvorak

10/19 NHL DFS Wingers

Reilly Smith (FD $5,900 | DK $6,000) – Despite his strong performances, Smith’s price hasn’t gone up too high and he is still a great fit for most lines. The top-line winger has goals in each of his last three games and will be facing off against a Pittsburgh team that will be starting their backup in the second half of a back-to-back. You won’t get a much better value play under 6K especially not while seeing 20 minutes of ice time.

Nick Schmaltz (FD $5,000 | DK $5,400) *Arizona 2 Chalk* – Schmaltz’s price has also remained reasonably affordable despite his recent strong performances. Despite the fact that he is seeing limited ice-time he has still managed to put up seven points in his last four games, one of which came on the power play on Arizona’s second unit. Arizona will also be up against one of the worst goalies in the league in Anderson. If Schmaltz will have any chance of continuing his recent success it will be tonight against the lowly Sens.
HM: Oskar Lindblom

10/19 NHL DFS Defensemen

Mark Giordano (FD $6,700 | DK $6,700) *Calgary 1 Chalk* – Giordano is in one of the best defensive spots on the slate and is well worth the high price tag. The former All-Star sees a majority of Calgary’s defensive minutes and has recorded three points in his last two appearances. He is also known for accumulating high levels of both shots and blocked shots and being a strong presence on Calgary’s top power-play unit. Not to mention he will be up against one of the league’s worst starters tonight in Jonathan Quick.

Ivan Provorov (FD $4,700 | DK $4,900) – Provorov has had a strong start to the season with three points in his first two games. Despite a slight drop in production as of late, the Flyers defenseman will average around 23 minutes of ice time per game and is capable of accumulating both shots and blocked shots. He is also a very stackable defenseman and will be playing against a Dallas side that is on the second half of a back-to-back.
HM: Shea Theodore, Mackenzie Weegar

10/19 NHL DFS Goalies

David Rittich (FD $8,200 | DK $8,100) – Big Save Dave is going up against a much weaker opponent in the Kings, who are currently in the midst of a three-game losing streak. The Kings also have an extremly low goals per game rate considering how many shots they are putting on target. Rittich is also coming off two stellar one GA performances and put up 36 saves in his last game against the Kings.

Antti Raanta (FD $7,500 | DK $8,200) – Raanta is a salary saver option in goal tonight and consider he’s facing off against the Ottawa Senators, who are among the league’s worst in goals per game average, along with a power-play conversion rate of zero. The dangers in front of Raanta tonight do not resemble his last start against the Avalanche, which ended with a goal from Burakovsky in OT. He will have a much stronger appearance tonight at home against the Sens, who have yet to win an away game.
HM: Carter Hart

10/19 NHL DFS Punts

Calle Jarnkrok (FD $3,600 | DK $3,300) – Jarnkrok is still too cheap to ignore and has put up four points in his last four games. He will be seeing increasing amounts of ice-time now that he is on the top line and will be facing off against Florida backup Montembault as the Panthers are on the second half of a back-to-back. Jarnkrok is also very stackable as his linemate Johansen is also very reasonably priced, especially on FanDuel.

Patrick Marleau (FD $4,700 | DK $4,600) – Marleau has recorded three points in his first three starts since returning to the Sharks and has consistently averaged around 15 minutes a game on San Jose’s top line. He is also stackable alongside his linemate Timo Meier or could work as a one-off punt. Not to mention, he will appear on San Jose’s second power play unit.

10/19 NHL DFS Optimal Game Stack

Buffalo Sabres 1 – San Jose Sharks 2 – Both teams currently have hot offenses and hot power plays along with risky goaltending and shaky defensive cores. Not to mention they are both affordable together and have high implied totals with the Sharks edging out slightly higher. The O/U is currently set at 6 but it wouldnt surprise me if this game surpassed it. As San Jose are favored at home, however, they are facing the league’s seventh-best offence.
HM: Boston Bruins 1 – Toronto Maple Leafs 2

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets took Friday off in order to talk a little boxing and thatwas a nice break. Not that we needed one because Cash with the Flash Best Betshad a nice, 3-1 day with our NHLwagers and that was a beautiful thing to see.

We were evenon the right side of an overtime game for a change and that made Cashwith the Flash Best Bets very happy.

As usual,Saturday is a huge sports day with NCAA football and we also have a decentslate of games and the ALCS offers us a game six and that should be a good onetoo.

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets can’t stress enough how important bankrollmanagement is to your longterm success and we hope you are using yourbankroll wisely.

Don’t forgetour NHLBetting Primer that explains the terms we use in regards to NHLwagering at Cash with the Flash Best Bets.

Cashwith the Flash Best Bets has NHL for you today and maybe we’ll toss ina couple of NCAA picks for you to chew on.

VancouverCanucks vs New JerseyDevils  1:00 pm ET

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets: Vancouver

Aside from rookie brothers Quinn and Jack Hughes first-ever meeting against each other, there is a hockey game and the Canucks have played well out of the gate, mostly on the strength of a four-game winning streak and the Devils are coming off their first victory of the season against an equally challenged New York Rangers side.

Vancouverhas a 95 percent penalty kill rate and New Jersey kills penalties at a 66percent clip. The Canucks power play has been spotty and has a 16.7 percentsuccess rate whereas the Devils power-play unit has below average four percentsuccess rate.

Thatcher Demko (2-0-0) is likely starting in goalfor Vancouver and CorySchneider (0-3-0) will likely tend the twine for New Jersey.

WhyVancouver?

Demko hasbeen incredible for Vancouver and the Devils boast plenty of young guns likeJack Hughes and Taylor Hall, but they are no match for the experienced Canucksthis afternoon. Schneider has been awful and has one of the worst GSAA numbers(-2.33) in the NHL this season. Vancouver doesn’t have much of a power playright now but it’s light years ahead of the Devils penalty kill unit and Jerseyhas the eighth-most penalty minutes in the NHL. Cashwith the Flash Best Bets suggests playing the Canucks to defeat theDevils in this contest.

Dallas Stars(+130) vs PhiladelphiaFlyers (-150)

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets: Philadelphia -150

Dallas isone of the worst teams in the NHL and scores the least goals per game in theNational Hockey League. Philadelphia is coming off a difficult road trip andwill be looking to get back on track with a victory on Saturday afternoon. Anton Khudobin islikely guarding the cage for Dallas and Carter Hart has beenconfirmed as the starting netminder for the Flyers.

The Starshave a four percent power-play success rate and kill 80 percent of its penaltiesthis season. Philadelphia succeeds in 30 percent of its power-play chances andtheir penalty kill unit has a 76.9 percent success rate over its first fivegames.

WhyPhiladelphia?

Dallas is coming off a Friday night road loss in Pittsburgh and now must turn around and play tonight against a Flyers team on three days rest and hoping to end a three-game losing streak. Dallas doesn’t score goals and that’s a real problem because the Dallas goaltending hasn’t been that bad. Khudobin gets the start for Dallas and he’s up against a Flyers team with a solid power play and plenty of snipers to make life interesting. Dallas has the eighth-most penalty minutes and up against a rested Flyers side with a 30 percent power-play success rate. At this point, Dallas would have a tough time scoring goals on the Flyers mascot and Hart is probably looking forward to getting back on track against the anemic Stars offense. Cash with the Flash Best Bets suggests playing the Flyers to defeat the Stars in this contest.

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets is also interested in the following NHL games beginning at3:00 pm ET.

3:00 pm ET: StLouis Blues -150 over Montreal Canadians

7:05 pm ET: Boston Bruins +100 over Toronto Maple Leafs

7:05 pm ET: Vegas Golden Knights -130 over Pittsburgh Penguins

As promised,Cash with the Flash Best Bets is interested in the following NCAA footballgames this afternoon;

3:30 pm ET:Rutgers +28.5 over Minnesota

3:30 pm ET:Appalachian State -15.5 over UL Monroe

3:30 pm ET: Washington+2.5 over Oregon
