Welcome, everyone! We’ve got an absolute banger of a slate tonight, a bunch of great mismatches to exploit and a strong parlay to get everything started! Get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 3/8 NHL slate, as mentioned, we massive 11-gamer and the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get right into it!

PARLAY OF THE DAY

Avalanche, Golden Knight and Leafs winning on the Moneyline

3/8 NHL Stack Report

1. Colorado Avalanche 1
Rantanen – MacKinnon – Landeskog (FanDuel: $27,600 | DraftKings: $21,100)
To lead off the article we have a matchup between one of the league’s highest-scoring offences in Colorado who average 3.93 goals per game against one of the leagues’ worst defences in the New Jersey Devils who average 3.54 goals against per game. These numbers are brutal for the Devils, no matter how you slice it. Unsurprisingly, Colorado has the highest implied total of the slate at an event 4.0 implied goals and on top of that, this line is now back to full strength as league point leaders Rantanen and Landeskog are joined by in my estimation, their team’s most valuable player, Nathan MacKinnon. They’re not quite the same without him and with him in the lineup, the Devils are going to have a rough night at the office, especially considering their goalie troubles as of late.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Cale Makar (FD: $7,200 | DK: $7,100)

2. Vegas Golden Knights 1
Roy – Eichel – Pacioretty (FanDuel: $20,000 | DraftKings: $15,800)
For our second line of the night, it’s not as much about how good they are like the Aves but rather how bad their opponents are. Bad doesn’t even begin to describe the season the Flyers have had to this point. To date, the Flyers have lost 6 of their last eight games, routinely coughing up 5 to 6 goals in the process. The Flyers have struggled a lot this season, whether it be their coaching change, their long losing streaks or their awful goaltending. They have just never been able to find any semblance of consistency. Their opponent’s the Golden Knights haven’t been the Kings of Consistency either but the problems that the Golden Knights have pale in comparison to the massive issues plaguing the Flyers this season. On top of that, the Golden Knights are coming off a strong win against the Ottawa Senators, where this line scored the winning goal with a mere 5.2 seconds left. The Knights have started to play good hockey again, winning three of their last four games and are in a prime position to make it four of their last five, here tonight. The implied total is very favourable to them at 3.5 goals but knowing the Flyers’ defensive struggles, it could end up being much worse than that.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Alex Pietrangelo (FD: $6,400 | DK: $6,500)

Honorable Mention(s): TOR1, STL1, ANH1

3/6 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Darcy Kuemper (FD: $8,300 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Robin Lehner (FD: $7,900 | DK: $8,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alex Nedjelkovic

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Jon Gillies (FD: $6,800 | DK: $7,100)
Honorable Mention(s): Karel Vejmelka, Carter Hart

3/8 NHL Wild Card Targets

Michael Bunting (FD: $6,100 | DK: $4,700)
– Michael Bunting has been on quite the tear as of late and yes he has benefitted tremendously from having two all-star linemates. Regardless he’s a cheap winger and he’s putting up points like it’s nobody’s business, we already saw him get a hat trick not too long ago and five games ago, he had a five-point game! Ever since that game, he’s continued his point streak as he now has 10 points in his last 5 games. Not too bad for a rookie winger! On top of that, the Leafs are going up against the Kraken. We have gone in-depth on the Kraken’s defensive failings, their high goals-against average in contrast with their low shots on goal against percentage, bottom line is the Leafs (and Bunting) should have no problem tearing right into the Kraken tonight.
Honorable Mention(s): Dylan Strome, Nick Schmaltz, Mason Marchment, Kevin Fiala-Matt Boldy

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Center Nathan MacKinnon

Winger Michael Bunting

Defenseman – Alex Pietrangelo

Goalie Robin Lehner

Welcome, everyone! We’ve been putting in the DFS grind all week, lets get some hard-earned paper tonight! Get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! 3/6 NHL Stack Report

1. Carolina Hurricanes 1
Svechnikov – Aho – Teravainen (FanDuel: $23,600 | DraftKings: $20,300)
Here we have what is clearly the top line of the entire slate. Carolina’s top line has been on absolute fire lately as the Canes have won six of their last eight games. This line has been a consistent factor for the Canes with Aho leading the charge registering nine points over his last nine games. We have covered Seattle’s poor defence in past articles and looked at how their high GAA and low shots on goal means that either their goaltending has been horrendous, their defence is allowing prime shot opportunities or both. Either way, it makes me strongly believe that Carolina will take over the slate tonight. All three of the top liners play on the Canes top power-play unit and see around 20 minutes of ice time a game.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Jacoob Slavin (FD: $5,600 | DK: $5,300)

2. Tampa Bay Lightning 1
Palat – Point – Kucherov (FanDuel: $23,800 | DraftKings: $20,700)
Tampa has the highest implied total of the entire slate at 4.1. That’s a combination of Tampa’s juggernaut offence alongside what has been a very lacklustre defence on the part of the Chicago Blackhawks. Injuries and controversies derailed what could’ve been a breakout season for the Hawks. Instead, they sit near the bottom of the league in both goals allowed and shots on goal allowed, while doing even worse offensively averaging just 2.46 goals per game. Fleury has been a bit of a bright spot for the Hawks but even so, he hasn’t been able to stop the onslaught by himself and the Chicago defence usually keeps him pretty vulnerable. This is a horrible thing to do against a team like Tampa. Tampa’s top line is stacked with lethal shooters who can be dangerous from most parts of the ice. Specifically Kucherov and Point, both have been killing it as of late, Kucherov himself has 10 points over his last six games and point has 8. Even at home, I don’t see the Hawks standing much of a chance here tonight. All three of the Lightning’s top liners see anywhere from 17-20 minutes of ice-time per game and see power-play time with Point and Kuch on the top unit and Palat on the second unit.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Mikhail Sergachev (FD: $5,600 | DK: $5,100)

Honorable Mention(s): VGK1 (Roy-Eichel-Dadonov), ANH1 (Henrique-Getzlaf-Terry)

3/6 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Igor Shesterkin (FD: $8,300 | DK: $7,600)
  2. Antti Raanta (FD: $8,400 | DK: $8,200)
Honorable Mention(s): Robin Lehner, Andrei Vasilevskiy

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Philipp Grubauer (FD: $6,900 | DK: $7,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Zach Sawchenko

3/6 NHL Wild Card Targets

Connor Brown (FD: $5,100 | DK: $4,100)
– Brown has been an assist machine as of late with five assists over his last five games. He’s also been shooting the puck a lot more frequently lately as he’s got 10 shots on goal over his last two games and he consistently sees over 20 minutes of ice-time per game. According to current lineup projections, he will be getting a boost to the top line for tonight’s game alongside established top liners Brady Tkachuk and Josh Norris with the extended absence of Drake Batherson. Brown also sees time on the second power-play unit and the Sens will be facing off against a goalie in Lehner who’s dropped two of his last three with a GAA of over 3 in that time.
Honorable Mention(s): Brady Skjei, Paul Stastny, Chris Kreider

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Center Jack Eichel

Winger Teuvo Teravainen

Defenseman – Mikhail Sergachev

Goalie Igor Shesterkin

Welcome back everyone to another edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! This morning we have four games that all have intriguing pieces for us to use in tonight’s builds. A few immediately caught my eye, so let’s dig right into it! For tonight’s 3/2 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:30 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

3/2 NHL Stack Report

1. Nashville Predators 1
Duchene – Granlund – Forsberg (FanDuel: $20,300 | DraftKings: $14,500)
Let’s start off with what I see as one of the big mismatches of the night. Offensively, the Preds have been rather middle of the pack, with the main flashes of brilliance coming from winger Filip Forsberg. The Kraken on the other hand have really had a season to forget as they sit near the bottom of the league and are woefully underperforming even to the standards of their harshest critics. Despite a very low shot on goal against rate, they allow an incredibly high amount of goals against at 3.55, the only way to properly explain that is that their goaltending just hasn’t been up to par and that even though the Kraken D may have done some good work in limiting chances, the Kraken goalies always give up a couple of cheap ones with the few opportunities that the opposing team are afforded. With that level of play, it’s no surprise that the Kraken are currently on a big downward spiral dropping their last seven games. All three of Nashville’s top liners play on the Preds top power-play unit and as far as pricing goes the Preds top guys are priced very reasonably, especially compared to the second team on our radar.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Roman Josi (FD: $7,000 | DK: $7,200)

2. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
Marner Matthews Bunting (FanDuel: $25,100 | DraftKings: $22,000)
Here we are… the Leafs are the biggest favourites on the slate and its really not even close. Their implied total is set at an astronomical 4.5 and are listed as -430 favourites. It’s very clear what the bookies are projecting for this one. I have no reason to disagree with them, the Leafs have been on quite a run lately, scoring insanely high amounts of goals (including a combined 17 goal game two games ago!) and having those goals fairly concentrated among the top liners. Over their last three games, this line has put together 22 points amongst themselves. That’s unreal and given the mismatch on display tonight, I can only see those numbers improving. Defensively, the Sabres have huge liabilities being near rock bottom in the league in both goals allowed and shots on goal allowed. Craig Anderson who is set to start for the Sabres has also been coughing up over 3 goals a game this season and the Sabres themselves currently sit at the wrong end of a six-game losing streak. Thankfully, all three of the Leafs’ top liners see Power-play time with Matthews and Marner on the first unit and Bunting on the second unit. The only concern in playing this line is the price, I would recommend having a couple of pieces in your lineup and not investing most of your salary into one line, but momentum is on the Leafs’ side, scoring ability is on the Leafs’ side and the stats are on the Leafs” side… not much else to say about this line.

Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,200 | DK: $5,800)

Honorable Mentions in order: DAL1 (Pavelski-Hintz-Robertson), STL1 (Perron-O’Reilly-Saad)

BOOKIE BET OF THE NIGHT: OVER 6.5 TOR/BUF

– Well even though Toronto has a shot at cracking the over by themselves, neither side are fielding good starting goalies and we could see a situation where the Sabres manage to bag a few on the Leafs back up goalie (I doubt we’ll see another 17-goal barn burner though)

Honorable Mention(s): NSH -180 on the Moneyline

3/2 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Ville Husso (FD: $7,700 | DK: $7,800)
  2. Juuse Saros (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,000)
    Honorable Mention(s): Jake Oettinger

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Philipp Grubauer (FD: $7,100 | DK: $7,400)
    Honorable Mention(s): Craig Anderson

3/2 NHL Wild Card Targets

Justin Holl (FD: $4,900 | DK: $2,700)
It’s very rare that I’d list a defenseman in the Wild Card slot but here we are. We’ve already discussed why the Leafs, in general, are a good play tonight but many may overlook the young defenseman as he has some struggles earlier on in the season. Since then he’s really been able to fine-tune his game and over his last few games, he has been an absolute monster. He’s registered 7 points over his last four games with five points coming over his last two games and on top of that, he’s starting to creep around 20 minutes of ice time a game. Holl’s price has raised a bit on FanDuel but he is still a solid value play, especially in tonight’s mismatch against the Buffalo Sabres.
Honorable Mention(s): Tage Thompson-Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs-Casey Fitzgerald, Jordan Eberle, Viktor Arvidsson, Jordan Kyrou

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Auston Matthews

Winger Filip Forsberg

Defence Justin Holl

Goalie Ville Husso

Welcome, everyone! We’re back with a brand new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We have a couple of different main slates so I’ll recommend lines that work for both sites. Let’s keep up the momentum and let’s get some takedowns tonight! Get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/27 NHL slate, as mentioned, we have a smaller five gamer and the slate begins at 6:00 pm ET (1:00 pm ET on DK). Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get right into it!

2/27 NHL Stack Report

1. San Jose Sharks 1
Meier – Hertl – Barabanov (FanDuel: $20,700 | DraftKings: $15,800)
Tonight’s late hammer is carrying a lot of value in their top line as aside from Meier who is priced extremely high, San Jose’s top line has been impressive, compared to the rest of the lineup who have been severely lacking (with one exception). Seattle has been on quite the downward spiral as of late too. They have dropped their last six game and in many of these games they gave up around 5-6 goals. San Jose’s main draw tonight is definitely their matchup. Seattle has not been good on either end of the puck ranking 27th in the league in both goals scored and goals allowed while having one of the worst shots on goal average in the entire league at 28.1. San Jose is coming into the second half of a back but if it weren’t for that, I can’t imagine the bookies having this one as close as they do. San Jose is still slightly favoured but given the weak play of their opponents lately, coupled with the point production of their top unit, the San Jose Sharks are a good place to start your GPP builds on both sites.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Brent Burns (FD: $6,600 | DK: $6,000)

2. New York Islanders 1
Palmieri – Barzal – Parise (FanDuel: $15,000 | DraftKings: $11,700)
This line is way too cheap, especially on DraftKings where two of the top liners are in the $3,000 range, that’s simply unbelievable, especially against a team in the Ducks who notoriously struggle on the defensive end of the ice. The Islanders are not the most offensively gifted team but Anaheim does give up a lot of good looks and allows shots on goal at an unacceptable rate. On average, Anaheim allows over 33 shots on goal against per game, while nearly giving up three goals a game. With the way they’ve been playing right now, it’s the Islanders top line who are going to benefit from Anaheim’s defensive lapses. The great thing about this line is the versatility, they work as a full line stack, a two-man and they can be easily paired with a defenseman. On top of that, the price of these guys will really help alleviate some of the heavy price tags on the higher priced lines, such as Pittsburgh’s top line.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Noah Dobson (FD: $6,200 | DK: $5,800)

Honorable Mention(s): WPG1 (Stastny-Scheifele-Wheeler), DAL1 (Robertson-Hintz-Pavelski), STL1 (Saad-O’Reilly-Perron), PIT1 (Rust-Crosby-Guentzel) (MAIN CASH LINE PIT1)

2/27 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Ilya Sorokin (FD: $7,600 | DK: $7,700)
  2. Igor Shesterkin (FD: $8,600 | DK: $8,000)
Honorable Mention(s): Zach Sawchenko, Connor Hellebuyck

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Philipp Grubauer (FD: $7,100 | DK: $7,500)
    Honorable Mention(s): Elvis Merzlikins

2/27 NHL Wild Card Targets

Logan Couture (FD: $6,600 | DK: $5,100)
– With 5 points out of his last five games (4 goals, 1 assist), Couture has been the only major contributor on the Sharks who isn’t on the top line. Couture has been consistently effective as of late and has regularly seen time on San Jose’s top power play unit. Despite a slight price increase on FanDuel, he is still fairly priced on DraftKings and all the same points we made about Seattle’s defensive weakness’ still apply to having some shares of Couture tonight. He can work as a one off but I prefer him in a mini-stack with defenseman Brent Burns.
Honorable Mention(s): Brady Skjei, Zach Hyman, Martin Necas, Tage Thompson, Bryan Rust

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Center Matt Barzal

Winger Timo Meier

Defenseman – Noah Dobson

Goalie Ilya Sorokin (Connor Hellebuyck works on DK)

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve been on an excellent run as of late here at WinDaily. Let’s make some more money tonight! On tonight’s slate, we have a small 5-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/23 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:30 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

2/23 NHL Stack Report

1. Colorado Avalanche 1
Rantanen – MacKinnon – Landeskog (FanDuel: $27,700 | DraftKings: $21,900)
On this slate, there are three top teams that are in play tonight, Tampa, Edmonton and Colorado. Of the three, Colorado has been the most consistent and is facing the worse defensive team in the three, mainly because Tampa and Edmonton are actually going up against each other. The Avalanche currently sit in first place in the NHL and have three players in the top 20 in points. MacKinnon would be there but he spent a good chunk of the season injured which allowed Kadri to benefit off his absence point-wise. With MacKinnon back, this line is now at full strength and is as dangerous as ever. Especially, against a Detroit side who coughs up an average of 3.43 goals per game and 32.8 shots against per game. Those are dangerous numbers against the second highest scoring offence in the league. (only behind the Florida Panthers who don’t play tonight) It is hard to stack this trio on FanDuel so I would recommend going with your favourite forward and pairing him alongside their ideal defensive partner (Cale Makar) so you can still stack this top line, this is much less of an issue on Draft Kings. Either way, I would strongly recommend having some exposure to Colorado’s top line in your builds tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Cale Makar (FD: $7,000 | DK: $6,600)

2. Los Angeles Kings 1
Iafallo-Kopitar-Kempe (FanDuel: $18,200 | DraftKings: $16,800)
The Kings are an insanely good play tonight. Not only has their top line been performing excellently as of late but they are up against the Yotes who have objectively one of the worst defenses in the NHL, sitting at or near the bottom of most defensive stat categories. On top of that they’re very reasonably priced and all see a lot of ice time, including time together on the Kings top power play unit. Despite the game being in Arizona, the Kings top line should have no trouble cracking into the Yotes at home as Arizona has gone 1-5-0 over their last 6 home games.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Drew Doughty (FD: $6,900 | DK: $6,300)

Honorable Mentions in order: EDM1 (Hyman-McDavid-Yamamoto), DAL1 (Robertson-Hintz-Pavelski), TBL1 (Kucherov-Point-Palat)

2/23 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Darcy Kuemper (FD: $8,600 | DK: $8,500)
  2. Jonathan Quick (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,300)
    Honorable Mention(s): Sam Montembault

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Craig Anderson (FD: $7,000 | DK: $7,800)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alex Nedeljkovic

2/23 NHL Wild Card Targets

Cole Caufield (FD: $4,700 | DK: $3,700)
Although I am not on Montreal as a team tonight, there is something to be said about Cole Caufield. He’s a young winger with a clear chip on his shoulder and as of late he has been producing at a very high level with three goals and three assists over his last three games. (Three games in which he helped Montreal win) It’s by no means a sustainable pace but it is indicative of the fact that he is gaining some trust back in this lineup and is seeing around 20 minutes of ice time per game… that always helps. Although Anderson works as a GPP goalie, he has by no means has a good season and Caufield will definitely have opportunities to score tonight. He pairs well alongside winger Josh Anderson but can also pair alongside Centre Nick Suzuki.
Honorable Mention(s): Victor Arvidsson-Philip Danault, Robbie Fabbri, Phil Kessel, Tage Thompson

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Nathan MacKinnon

Winger Adrian Kempe

Defence Drew Doughty

Goalie Darcy Kuemper

Welcome, everyone! We’re back with a brand new Sunday Night Win Daily NHL Article! After no article last Sunday we’re back with a nice 5-gamer. So, let’s keep up the momentum and let’s get some takedowns tonight! Get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/20 NHL slate, as mentioned, we have a smaller five gamer and the slate begins at 5:00 pm ET (1:00 pm ET on DK). Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get right into it!

2/20 NHL Stack Report

1. Dallas Stars 1
Robertson – Hintz – Pavelski (FanDuel: $23,000 | DraftKings: $21,600)
Hard to ignore the Dallas Stars tonight as they are going up against one of the worst teams in the league in the Arizona Coyotes. After a 1-0 shootout win in their last game, this Stars line will be hungry and ready to capitalize in their stellar matchup tonight. Outside of their last game, Dallas’ top line has consistently been solid and throughout the season we’ve seen strong performances from each member of this top line. Unsurprisingly, they’re coming into tonight with the second-highest implied total of the slate and they are a very viable option for your fantasy lines tonight. Dallas’ second line can also work as a value play but I expect the top line to see the majority of the action tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Miro Heiskanen (Ryan Suter works as a salary saver) (FD: $5,000 | DK: $4,500)

2. Edmonton Oilers 1
Hyman – McDavid – Yamamoto (FanDuel: $19,900 | DraftKings: $16,000)
This game has a line set at 6.5 for good reason. Both teams are very offensively gifted and leave something to be desired on the defensive end of the ice. Usually, that would be a good combo for a team like Minnesota, however, against the likes of McDavid and Draisaitl, being weak defensively is playing with fire. Not to mention, the Oilers are coming into this one hot after winning their last five, while the Wild have dropped their last two. McDavid alone is on a six-game point streak where he has posted 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points over those six games. If you look over his last five, he’s a two-point per game player. Just an insane pace, even for McDavid. Minnesota’s main defensive concern is the amount of shots they allow per game which is North of 32 and as we know, when you give McDavid the opportunity he will usually rise to the occasion. His linemates are optimal as they are not too expensive but get a huge boost in value playing alongside McDavid. Edmonton’s second line is also playable but I prefer the top line.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Darnell Nurse (FD: $6,000 | DK: $6,100)

Honorable Mention(s): MIN1 (Zuccarello-Hartman-Kaprizov), CBJ1 (Laine-Jenner-Voracek), BUF1 (Skinner-Thompson-Tuch), DAL2 (Benn-Seguin-Gurianov)

2/20 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jake Oettinger (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,400)
  2. Igor Shesterkin (FD: $8,400 | DK: $8,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Craig Anderson

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Karel Vejmelka (FD: $6,700 | DK: $7,000)
    Honorable Mention(s): Filip Gustavsson

2/20 NHL Wild Card Targets

Jack Eichel (FD: $5,500 | DK: $7,000)
– I’m recommending Eichel for the same reason I recommended him the last time, he is way too cheap at his current price and we need to take advantage of that while he’s still available. Eichel just recorded his first point as a Golden Knight in his last game with a slick feed to Pacioretty. Eichel will still be seeing time on the Knights’ top power-play unit and will gear up alongside Patches for the majority of the game. Although his first two games have been a little slow, it’s only a matter of time before a bonafide talent like Eichel breaks a slate and at his current price, it’s definitely worth giving him a go.
Honorable Mention(s): Jeff Skinner, Matt Boldy, Joel Eriksson Ek, Tim Stuezle, Rudolfs Balcers

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Center Jack Eichel

Winger Jason Robertson

Defenseman – Zach Werenski

Goalie Jake Oettinger

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve been on an excellent run as of late here at WinDaily. Let’s make some more money tonight! On tonight’s slate, we have a small 4-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/16 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

2/16 NHL Stack Report

1. Colorado Avalanche 1
Rantanen – MacKinnon – Landeskog (FanDuel: $28,700 (over 50% of the salary cap) | DraftKings: $23,000)
Like with most slates, Colorado is coming into tonight’s slate with the highest implied goal total of the night at 3.5 and it would be even higher if they weren’t going up against the Golden Knights. FanDuel’s pricing has gotten so unusable that Colorado’s top line is completely unstackable on the site with the three linemates making up over 50% of your allotted salary. To get around this, I would recommend playing your favourite member of this line and pairing them with Cale Makar, it’s not much better but it’ll do. Luckily for DraftKings users, Colorado’s whole top line is very much in play. Considering the Golden Knights starter, Robin Lehner, is out with an upper body injury. It makes Colorado’s top line that much more appealing. All three play on the Aves top power play unit and are among the league leaders in scoring. (except for MacKinnon who spent some time out with an injury earlier in the season)
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Cale Makar (FD: $7,300 | DK: $7,200)

2. Florida Panthers 3
Marchment – Lundell – Reinhart (FanDuel: $17,900 | DraftKings: $11,000)
This line is a very sneaky value option, especially on DraftKings. Reinhart in particular has consistently been scoring despite being on the third line. Reinhart has still been seeing around 17-19 minutes of ice-time per game and over his last three games he has put together seven points! (4 goals, 3 assists) His linemates haven’t been too far off either with Marchment scoring 3 goals and 5 assists over his last three games and Lundell scoring 5 assists over his last two. Overall, this third line ends up seeing a considerable amount of ice time and has been scoring at a very high pace as of late, along with a 3.3 implied goal total.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Mackenzie Weegar (FD: $6,000 | DK: $4,800)

Honorable Mentions in order: MIN2 (Boldy-Gaudreau-Fiala), CAR1 (Teravainen-Aho-Necas), MIN1 (Zuccarello-Hartman-Kaprizov), CGY1 (Gaudreau-Lindhom-Tkachuk)

2/16 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $8,100 | DK: $8,000)
  2. Cam Talbot (FD: $8,400 | DK: $7,900)
    Honorable Mention(s): Frederik Andersen

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. John Gibson (FD: $7,100 | DK: $7,300)

2/16 NHL Wild Card Targets

Jack Eichel (FD: $5,500 | DK: $6,800)
Jack Eichel is making his season debut as the newest member of the Vegas Golden Knights and although he has had a bit of a year thus far, this is still Jack Eichel. For FanDuel users, he is nearly a must play, I can guarantee, he will not be at $5,500 for much longer on FanDuel. We are talking about a bonafied NHL superstar who was wasting talent with the Sabres. Even on DK, he is very cheap for the player he is, along with the role he is playing on the Golden Knights. Depending on how the rest of your line shapes up you can pair Eichel with Max Pacioretty, Evgenii Dadonov or both (all dependent on how much salary you have available). I would strongly recommend considering Eichel for your lines tonight as you are getting a very important value piece which wont be around in future slates, take advantage of it while you can.
Honorable Mention(s): Tyler Toffoli, Evgenii Dadonov, Troy Terry

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Jack Eichel

Winger Matt Boldy

Defence Tony DeAngelo

Goalie Jacob Markstrom

We’re back with a rare edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! So hyped that I get to share my thoughts with you on this great slate! Let’s kick off Super Bowl Weekend with a bang! On tonight’s slate, we have a medium-sized 5-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/12 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

2/12 NHL Stack Report

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs 1
    Marner – Matthews – Bunting (FanDuel: $24,700 | DraftKings: $20,100)
This line has been excellent as of late with both Matthews and Marner scoring at will, with Bunting getting points on the side as a result. This line puts up the craziest stats that it would be hard to encapsulate in just one paragraph but the stat lines for all three of them have simply been insane. Bunting for example has five goals and an assist over his last five games along with 14 shots. Matthews has six goals and five assists over that same time (with a whopping 26 shots) and Marner slightly leads the pack with six goals and six assists over his last five games. (29 shots to boot) It’s safe to say that this line has been performing extremley well and find themselves in a very favourable position for tonight’s slate against a Canucks side who’s lost two of their last three and with one of the highest implied totals of the slate at 3.5. With the best power play in the league, and dangerous players on each side of their top line, it’s clear that the Leafs are the line I will prioritize in my builds tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Morgan Rielly (FD: $6,600 | DK: $5,900)
  2. St. Louis Blues 1
    Kyrou – O’Reilly – Schenn (FanDuel: $19,300 | DraftKings: $15,800)
The Blues are an interesting play as they provide a lot of value on a slate where value is as good as gold. Not only do they see top minutes a decent price, but they have been scoring really well as of late and are coming into tonight against an underperforming Blackhawks side. Last game alone, this line comined for two goals and an assist in their barn burner against the New Jersey Devils. If anything, that game cemented Husso’s spot as the Blues top netminder and it has seemed as though the Blues have just played better hockey in front of him this season. All three of the top line see power play time with Schenn and O’Reilly on the first unit and Kyrou on the second. It should come as no surprise that the Blues implied total is coming in around a similar spot as the Leafs at 3.5 as they are benefitting from a solid matchup tonight against a team who has dropped three of their last four games.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Torey Krug (FD: $5,400 | DK: $5,300)

    Honorable Mentions in order: NSH1 (Forsberg-Granlund-Duchene), CGY1 (Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk)

2/12 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Ville Husso (FD: $7,900 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $8,100 | DK: $8,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Petr Mrazek

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Marc-Andre Fleury (FD: $7,000 | DK: $7,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Eric Comrie

2/12 NHL Wild Card Targets

Andrew Mangiapane (FD: $6,600 | DK: $3,300)
To say Mangiapane has been great as of late would be an understatement. Over his past four games, he’s put together four goals and two assists along with 10 shots on goal and an average of 15-16 minutes of ice time. Mangiapane had cooled a bit from his strong start to the season, which dramatically dropped his price on DraftKings, but he’s now regained his scoring touch and comes into tonight as a strong value piece for a loaded Flames lineup (more so on DK). Mangiapane sees time on Calgary’s second power-play unit and works as a one-off play or in a mini-stack alongside fellow winger Blake Coleman.
Honorable Mention(s): Matt Boldy, Noah Dobson

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Auston Matthews

Winger Jordan Kyrou

Defence Tony DeAngelo (Roman Josi if you have NSH exposure)

Goalie Ville Husso

We’re back with another Wednesday Night Win Daily NHL Article! We’ve been on an excellent run as of late here at WinDaily. Let’s make some more money tonight! On tonight’s slate, we have a medium-sized 6-gamer! Keep an eye on any COVID-19 news since it can change the whole outlook of the slate! With that said, let’s get ready for the newest edition of WinDaily’s Between the Benches! For tonight’s 2/9 NHL slate, the slate begins at 7:00 pm ET. Don’t forget to lock your lines and check the discord for any updates! Let’s get into it!

2/9 NHL Stack Report

  1. Seattle Kraken 1
    Eberle – McCann – Johansson (FanDuel: $15,900 | DraftKings: $15,300)
I never thought we’d see the day this season but here we are. Seattle is our top team of the slate. It has less to do with how well they’ve been playing (even though their top line has been quite good) but it’s more so about how bad their opponents are. Other than Montreal, it’s hard to find a team who has been playing worse than the Arizona Coyotes, and on top of that they’re on the second half of a back to back, where they got shelled en route to a 5-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. Every player on the Kraken’s top line sees good minutes and is reasonably affordable and on top of that they have all be playing great hockey as of late as they come into tonight with the best odds and the second highest implied total.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Mark Giordano (FD: $5,600 | DK: $6,100)
  2. Calgary Flames 1
    Tkachuk – Lindholm – Gaudreau (FanDuel: $24,000 | DraftKings: $22,800)
It should come as no surprise that we’re going with the Flames here tonight. Each member of their top line has consistently been meeting their standard game in and game out. Johnny Gaudreau for example has 10 points over his last 6 games and has had four 3+ point games since the start of the new year. Calgary’s top line has been scoring at an extremely high rate and tonight, they’ll be up against a tired Vegas team who is coming into Calgary after a win late last night in Edmonton. With Calgary coming into tonight with the fresher lineup accompanied by a 3.3 implied goal total. I would recommend having some exposure to Calgary’s top line tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Rasmus Andersson (FD: $5,300 | DK: $5,200)

    Honorable Mentions in order: EDM1 (Kane-McDavid-Yamamoto), DET2 (Bertuzzi-Suter-Fabbri), DAL1 (Pavelski-Hintz-Robertson)

2/9 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Jacob Markstrom (FD: $7,900 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Phillip Grubauer (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,200)
Honorable Mention(s): Ilya Sorokin, Jake Oettinger, (DEEP GPP – Robin Lehner)

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Scott Wedgewood (FD: $6,700 | DK: $7,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alex Nedeljkovic

2/9 NHL Wild Card Targets

Blake Coleman (FD: $5,100 | DK: $4,100)
We already know why we’re so high on Calgary as a team tonight, but even though I recommend prioritizing the top line, it’s worth noting how good Blake Coleman has been as of late. He’s been an absolute stud and he popped off in his last game for two goals and one assist. He’s still modestly priced on both sites after a performance like that. So, if you’re interested in having some exposure to Calgary but cant fit in their top line guys, I’d highly recommend going with Blake Coleman as either a one off play or alongside defenseman Oliver Kylington.
Honorable Mention(s): Robbie Fabbri, Calle Jarnkrok, Derick Brassard, Anthony Beauvilier-Noah Dobson

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Jared McCann

Winger Johnny Gaudreau

Defence Mark Giordano

2/2 NHL Stack Report

  1. Calgary Flames 1
    Tkachuk – Lindholm – Gaudreau (FanDuel: $23,900 | DraftKings: $21,300)
In this matchup we have far and away the biggest favourites on the slate, the Calgary Flames, taking on the struggling Arizona Coyotes. Both teams played last night and won, with Arizona being the more surpising win of the two. Prior to last night however, the Yotes were on a five game losing streak which included blowout games where they were giving up 6 or 7 goals to offences that aren’t even as strong as the offence they’ll be up against tonight. It’s no suprise that Gaudreau and Tkachuk have been top performers at a consistent level but now Lindholm is getting more involved on the score sheet and his price is relatively affordable for a top line centre on the strongest line of the slate. As top lines go, they are very affordable and see themselves in the best matchup on the slate. Of course, the Yotes’ defensive stats are horrible and so are Karel Vejmelka (Yotes’ starter) as he holds an abysmal GAA of 3.39 and he is also on a three game losing streak where he’s averaged 5 goals allowed per game. All three of Calgary’s top line forwards play on the Flames top power play unit against the worst Penalty Kill in the NHL. The Flames top line are as close as you can get to a must play tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Rasmus Andersson (FD: $5,200 | DK: $5,200)
  2. Edmonton Oilers 1
    Kane – McDavid – Yamamoto (FanDuel: $19,700 | DraftKings: $18,100)
The main reason why I like this line so much is that despite the fact that McDavid is priced really high, his ceiling is so high that he can still be a good contributor on a regular basis. On top of that, he is flanked by two wingers who are grossly underpriced. For starters, anyone who is playing alongside Connor McDavid gets an auto boost in my book and the Oilers have decided to pair McDavid with the recently signed Evander Kane. Nobody should deny Kane’s skill on the ice and if he would have started at the beginning of this season, I can guarantee that Kane would be priced up in the 8 or 9 K range, so the fact that he is currently at the 5 to 6 K range is a bargain in and of itself. They’re going up against Ilya Samsonov tonight, who has lost four of his last five starts and has averaged over three goals against over his last five games. On top of that Evander Kane will see power play time on the second unit and McDavid will see power play time on the first. So for tonight, prioritize Edmonton’s top line while they’re still cheap.
Ideal Defensive Partner(s): Evan Bouchard (FD: $6,200 | DK: $6,300)

    Honorable Mentions in order: NYI2 (Beauvilier-Nelson-Palmieri), MIN1 (Zuccarello-Hartman-Kaprizov), LAK1 (Kempe-Kopitar-Iafallo)

2/2 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best (Goalies to Roster)

  1. Dan Vladar (FD: $8,300 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Cam Talbot (FD: $8,500 | DK: $8,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Semyon Varlamov

Worst (Goalies to Target)

  1. Karel Vejmelka (FD: $6,600 | DK: $7,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): Alex Nedeljkovic

2/2 NHL Wild Card Targets

Matt Boldy (FD: $4,500 | DK: $3,600)
We have to go back to the well on Boldy. He came through for us big time on Sunday as our Wild Card and his price is still extremely cheap. After the last game, Boldy is now a point-per-game player who is seeing 15-18 minutes a game including time on Minnesota’s top power-play unit. Unsurprisingly, Minnesota is coming into tonight’s slate with the highest implied goal total at 3.7 and picking up a piece of their strong offense at this price can’t be ignored.
Honorable Mention(s): Jordan Eberle, Robbie Fabbri, Connor Murphy

Core Four: (ALWAYS BE STACKIN’)

Centre Connor McDavid

Winger Matt Boldy

Defence Rasmus Andersson

Goalie Dan Vladar
