GPP Stacks

Baker Mayfield ($5,900) is in an absolute smash spot versus the Dolphins. In four of his last five games, Mayfield has scored at least 17 fantasy points in every game versus opponents not named the New England Patriots. The Miami Dolphins who just allowed four total touchdowns versus Josh Allen. Mayfield has averaged 17 points per game at home this season and with the Browns now without Myles Garrett, there’s a strong chance the defense is going to allow more points. According to PFF, the Dolphins rank dead last in terms of pass rush which means Mayfield is going to have time to throw the ball. This bodes well for both of Mayfield’s primary receivers in Odell Beckham Jr. ($7,000) and Jarvis Landry ($6,300). Great stack for the slate.

Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,000) could be in line for a GPP play with surging wide receiver DeVante Parker ($5,200). Since Week 7 Parker has seen at least six targets in every single game and surpassed 50 yards receiving to go along with three touchdowns. He is WR15 overall during this timespan.

Best Values

According to PFF, Mason Rudolph ranks dead last in PFF passing grade (51.3). He’s logged five big-time throws and 15 turnover-worthy plays so far this season, a dangerous ratio that Cincinnati can take advantage of in Week 12. That is why at the rock-bottom price of $2,100 the Bengals DST is in play. When the Steelers have played on the road this season with Rudolph they have allowed an average of 11.5 fantasy points to defenses. Over the past four weeks, the Steelers have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to defenses.

One of my favorite plays from this game is Steelers’ tight end Vance McDonald ($3,500). The Bengals are the worst team versus tight ends over the last four weeks, and McDonald has seen at least seven targets in three straight weeks. Last year in two games versus the Bengals McDonald averaged seven targets per game with yards of 68 and 39. Three tight ends have seen seven or more targets versus the Bengals and they have all scored double-digit fantasy points. Tyler Boyd ($5,000) is also sneaky with the squeaky wheel gets the grease narrative after one catch last week.

Here are Scott Engel’s favorite value and punt plays at each position for NFL DFS Week 12. As a weekly nod to punting, we also salute some of the greatest punters of all time by featuring their photos. This week’s featured punter is Jeff Feagles.

NFL DFS Week 12 QBValues and Punts

Jameis Winston vs.ATL ($6,200): Yes, he threwfour interceptions last week, but he has also delivered a franchise record fiveconsecutive 300-yard outings. The matchup is obviously a fine one and he is a goodplay in both cash games and GPPs.

Baker Mayfield vs.MIA ($5,900): He may be themost popular play of the week and should be good for three TD passes, as theDolphins have allowed the most in the AFC.

Carson Wentz vs.SEA ($5,600): I do not expecthim to be widely used, but look for him to come through big as the Eagles tryto stay in the NFC playoff race.

Mitch Trubisky vs.NYG ($5,100): Take the shot ifyou roll out multiple lineups. The Giants have allowed the fourth-most FFPG inthe NFC to QBs over the past month.

NFL DFS Week 12 RBValues and Punts

Derrick Henry vs.JAC ($6,900): Last time theJaguars visited Tennessee, Henry had the best outing of his career. Jacksonvillehas allowed the fifth-most rushing yards to RB over the past month.

Joe Mixon vs. PIT ($5,900): He has scored in three of his past four gamesand Mixon has went over 100 scrimmage yards in each of his past two outings.

Miles Sanders vs.SEA ($5,000): He has thenecessary upside for GPPs, and is the ideal candidate to add a spark to thePhiladelphia offense this week.

Bo Scarbrough vs. WAS ($4,200): A very alluring salary saver. Scarbrough ran hard and determined last week and should find the end zone at least once.

Watch: Prime Week 12 NFL DFS Picks from The King, our CEO and Matt Striker

NFL DFS Week 12 WR Values and Punts

Jarvis Landry vs.MIA ($6,300): Lock him in, asthis “Revenge Game” script has all the elements for success. Miami has allowedthe most TD catches in the AFC to WRs, and Landry has scored in three consecutivegames.

Jamison Crowdervs. OAK ($6,200): He is amust-start in cash games right now, and will also serve you well in GPPs. TheRaiders are always a friendly matchup for WRs.

Tyrell Williamsvs. NYJ ($5,900): The Jets allowthe most Fantasy Points Per Game to WRs in the AFC and their CB situation isvery shaky.

DeVante Parker vs.CLE ($5,200): He has a qualityfloor now for cash games, and he certainly will not hurt you in a GPP.

Taylor Gabriel vs.NYG ($4,200): He his onlyoccasionally useful, but this is one of those occasions against the Giantssecondary.

Johnny Holton vs. CIN ($3,300): James Washington cannot be trusted in an expanded role, and Holton has some big play promise, too.

NFL DFS Week 12 TEValues and Punts

Ryan Griffin vs.OAK ($4,200): Do the PeterGriffin laugh when he scores against the team that has allowed the most FFPG toTEs in the AFC over the past month and full season.

Dallas Goedert vs.SEA ($3,700): A consistent TDthreat against a defense that has always let up points to TEs.

Vance McDonald vs.CIN ($3,500): The Steelerspassing game is depleted and he should be a prime TD option for Mason Rudolph.

NFL DFS Week 12 DefenseValues and Punts

Jacksonville vs.TEN ($2,800): The Jags had ninesacks last time they faced the Titans.

Carolina vs. NO ($2,200): It is a gutsy move to use the Panthers, but this is a divisional game and could be lower-scoring than expected. Carolina is tied for the NFL lead in sacks and is also tied for third in interceptions.

Week 12 in the NFL is about finding the best opportunities for guaranteed production with a high upside. Follow my stud and value GPP plays and lock in the NFL DFS Picks of Destiny.

David Jones won 100K on FanDuel! Read about it here!

David also won back-to-back GPPs!

There will be updates closer to lock. Check back Sunday morning.

Quarterbacks:

Stud Quarterback: Russell Wilson ($8,200 FD)

I feel safe with Russell Wilson this week. He is the only viable dual-threat quarterback with a positive matchup this Sunday. Wilson is one of the frontrunners for MVP and he will have another chance to impress against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. He, of course, can also scramble and keep the offense alive by running downfield and hopefully getting into the end zone. I think he is being overlooked. I will take him as my top spend up in NFL DFS this week.

Stud Pivot: Matt Ryan – He should have to throw it a lot here. It is difficult to run on the Tampa defensive front and the Falcons are down to their third string RB.

Stud Pivot 2: Drew Brees

Mid QB: Carson Wentz ($7,300 FD)

Another guy that is going under the radar in a potential shootout. We love his tight ends this week and he should finally have a healthy core of wide receivers. Miles Sanders is getting worked into the offense more and he too can catch passes. He is a very sneaky Mid-tier NFL DFS quarterback.

Mid QB pivots in Order: Baker Mayfield, Derek Carr, Sam Darnold, Ryan Tannehill (if you play any of these mid-tier guys you need to pair him with a WR or TE on the same team)

Running Backs

Stud Running Back: Christian McCaffrey ($10,500 FD)

I am not worried about any matchup for CMC. He is a better play on DK because of the PPR structure but if you can fit him on FanDuel you won’t regret it.

Stud RB: Alvin Kamara ($8,300 FD)

He gets one of my favorite rush defenses to pick on in the Carolina Panthers. They have given up five more rushing touchdowns than any other team in the league. My concerns are he is very chalky and “splitting” carries with Lat Murray which scares me. However, Kamara is far superior in the passing game which makes him more elite on DraftKings. I will have my fair share of Karma on both sites but not be going over 50% on him. I will also have some pivot teams with Latavius Murray in large GPP contests.

Stud Pivots in Order: Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb, Leonard Fournette, Saquon Barkley

Mid RB: Jaylen Samuels ($6,900 FD)

If JuJu and Johnson are out Samuels will not only be the probable starter at RB, he will also be treated as a WR2. He goes against the Bengals who have given up the second-most touchdowns to the running backs this season. With the Steelers so thin on offense Samuels should see plenty of opportunity on Sunday to exceed his NFL DFS salary. I like him better on DraftKings because of his pass-catching ability.

Pivots: Bo Scarbrough (next best option in the tier, not loving it though)

Value RB: Latavius Murray, Kareem Hunt, Derrius Guice

Note: Nick Chubb has a great matchup against the Dolphins, he can certainly have a breakout game, but so can OBJ, or Landry, or Hunt. Trying to pin down which Brown to go with is difficult if not impossible. It seems safe to say you want a least one of these guys in your lineup Sunday. I am going to have some Chubb lines and a few Kareem Hunt at his cheap price and wait for a garbage-time touchdown. Hunt will be in a few of my milli maker lines, not my main/cash or single entries.

I will update again closer to Sunday. Be sure to check back.

Wide Receiver

Stud WR: Mike Evans ($8,000 FD)

I am taking a stand on Mike Evans this week. He is my favorite high priced receiver with price and ownership factored in. He goes against the Falcons, who everyone suddenly wants to quit targeting. I know they have looked good the past two weeks but I think there are other reasons besides they have just suddenly become elite. The Saints overlooked them after a bye and we all saw Kyle Allen crumble against them last week. Was that poor QB play or good defense? Mike Evan has traditionally gone off against the Falcons and I know he is getting double-digit targets here. I am going with him at what I expect to be low NFL DFS ownership.

Stud Pivots: Julio Jones, Michael Thomas (both great options), Julian Edelman (DraftKings)

Mid WR: DK Metcalf ($6,700 FD)

Tyler Lockett will probably play, but he isn’t going to be 100%. The Seahawks are going to need to lean on their next best receiver against a poor Earles defense. Metcalf is the 7th highest targeted wideout in the red zone this season. He will be on my main NFL DFS lineup and I am going to do my best to pair him up with Russell Wilson.

Mid WR Pivots: OBJ, Calvin Ridley, Jamison Crowder

Value WR: Terry McLaurin, Russell Gage, James Washington (if JuJu and Johnson out), Josh Gordon (if Lockett isn’t 100%)

Tight End

Ryan Griffin ($5,600 FD)

I have been on him for weeks and everyone is finally catching up. Griffin is in another smash spot this week against the 30th ranked Oakland Raiders. He has four touchdowns in five weeks. He is still cheap enough to let you fit your stud backs and receivers.

Tight End Pivots: Zach Ertz, Jacob Hollister, Dallas Goedert, Ben Watson

Defense

  1. Steelers
  2. Saints
  3. Bills
  4. Punt: Redskins

Javier Prellezo is a terrific guy who just happens to be one of the best multi-sport DFS players on the planet. I’ve lost track of how much he’s won in just the short time I’ve been Director of Content at Win Daily Sports. By my count, it’s just over 200K and that’s a LOT of GREEN American Dollars. Javier took time out of his busy day to chat with us about his DFS career and I hope you enjoy it.

PHIL: How did you get your DFS start?

JAVIER: I got my start in Daily Fantasy Sports roughly 3 years ago. I got contacted by a friend to give it a whirl and use his discount code so I gave it a try. I started really getting into it last year around this time, where I felt the first 2 years were preparing me to give it a go for bigger and better prize pools.

PHIL: Were you always this good and if not, what did you do to get where you are today?

JAVIER: So when my friend contacted me to give it a try, it was mainly a 3 person contest between us and another rival because he definitely wasn’t a buddy.  In the 3 man contest, we’d do $5 per day and I ended up with y a losing record of 17 wins out of the 150+ total contests we played. It was safe to say I wasn’t that good. Since I’m super competitive in life, I told myself that couldn’t happen again. I began researching DFS strategies and sites. My goal was to learn how to beat them in the upcoming baseball season. In doing some small cash games and practicing, I learned the tricks of the trades. In turn, I kept researching and practicing then built my bankroll then started playing more and more. Once I built up even more bankroll, I started higher entry fee tournaments and my love for the game grew to an all time high.

PHIL: Which is your favorite DFS sport and why?

JAVIER: My favorite is the NFL. NFL is hands down the easiest because, in NFL, chalky players are actually good plays in most tournaments. As opposed to NBA, NHL, MLB, the chalk play isn’t necessarily good in both cash and GPP, but in NFL, it is! Also, I enjoy NFL game play because it’s less of a grind than the other sports since they are every day.

PHIL: How much time do you spend daily researching and building lineups?

JAVIER: I’d say I spend about 1-2 hours per day on researching and building lineups. On weekends, I spend even more time. I research, listen to radio shows, update my projections, and work consistently on my mutli-entry approach into large field tournaments.

PHIL: What advice, if any, do you have for newbies or folks who are struggling with winning at DFS?

JAVIER: My advice is to join us at Win Daily Sports and ask questions. Pick all the different pro’s brains and find out what works best for you. We have a private discord channel which grants access to all users to ask questions 24/7/365. I spend more time in discord talking to DFS Pros Jason Mezrahi, David Jones, our team, and our subscribers then I do with most of my friends and family. Once you have done your research, go with your gut and don’t second guess yourself. If you’re losing, change your process and change your contest selection.

PHIL: What are your future DFS plans?

JAVIER: Win a MILLION dollars in one contest. That’s the goal and that’s the plan! Eventually, retire after my second MILLION!! If you see the image below, I came really really really close last week when I finished 3rd. It was my best finish yet!

With results like these, I have no doubt that Javier will win a million and maybe even two. Good luck buddy and it’s a pleasure to have you in the Win Daily Sports family.

11/22 Win Daily DFS: DeAndre Hopkins

Here is a snippet from the DFS Week 12 Thursday Night Showdown Preview article written by David Jones. Deshaun Watson had the best game out of every skill position player during the Indianapolis Colts vs Houston Texans game as he had a solid performance. Hopkins had six catches on eight targets for 94 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Outlook for the rest of the season: DeAndre Hopkins is a Top Five wide receiver in the NFL this season. Deshaun Watson is always throwing in Hopkins’ direction as he has the second-most targets so far this season after this TNF matchup. He also has 52 catches that resulted in a first down. If you choose to make DeAndre Hopkins your MVP player, expect a dominant DFS performance.

11/22 Win Daily DFS Winner: Capper Steve

Here is a snippet of last night’s Sports Betting Picks from Capper Steve. He went 2-0 on his picks yesterday and if you followed his action, you would be up to four units. Capper Steve is one of the best in the business and is giving away his picks for all Premium members of the Win Daily family. His picks alone make you a surplus so what are you waiting for?

11/22 Win Daily DFS Winner: Boston Bruins First Line

Here is a snippet from the NHL DFS Daily Hot Shot article written by Richard Masana. The Boston Bruins had a rough week going into this game against the Buffalo Sabres. Bergeron finished with an assist, Marchand had two goals and Pastrnak had a goal and assist. They scored all three goals in the game for the Bruins and were the reason they won the game.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Boston’s first line is one of the best in the NHL. Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak are both Top five in points and goals this season. They control the game and are a huge reason why the Bruins are third in the conference. Expect Boston to continue being this dominant and make you a lot of money if you take them.

11/22 DFS Winner: Will Fuller V

Here is another snippet from the DFS Week 12 Thursday Night Showdown Preview article written by David Jones. David mentioned that one of his MVP pivots would be Will Fuller and he definitely was worth the play. Fuller finished with seven catches for 140 yards against the Colts.

Outlook for the rest of the season: What a way to come back from missing a month of action due to injury. Fuller had an injury scare after a 51-yard play but had his second-highest yardage game of the season. He should wreak havoc after next week’s game against the New England Patriots.

David Jones won another showdown and is probably the best in the business at taking these difficult to win tournaments down. Congrats Davis!!

Among the other topics DFS Pro Javi & Sticks discuss in the Week 12 Podcast is the favorite plays at WR and TE. Sticks and Javi are at a crossroads this week , but have some similar likes.

The duo also looks at the spots that could be DFS gold and the challenge that will come from finding good plays in a schedule lacking in quality DFS matchups.

In this Week 12 NFL DFS podcast, Sticks and Javi have have a discussion on where they see themselves focusing on. Javi seems to have a heavy focus on the Raiders and Jets game while Sticks is all in on some Lions, Tim Patrick, and other random plays that seem to work. 11/21 Win Daily DFS: Javier Prellezo

Javy continues to kill it almost on a nightly basis at this point! It really makes this article easier to write when it’s almost a guarantee he won some serious cash. He won over $37.000 last night with NBA DFS and doesn’t show any signs of stopping. To take it further, he has won almost $200,000 since the NBA season tipped off. Javy is one of the best multi-sport DFS players on the planet and just to see what he is rolling with is worth a Premium subscription alone. Why feel uneasy about your selections when we print money over here at Win Daily!

11/21 Win Daily DFS Winner: Brandon C. Williams

At the end of his NBA DFS Game Preview article, Brandon always includes his Monkey Knife Fight picks of the night. He nailed both of these as Luka Doncic finished with 10 rebounds and Draymond Green did not play due to a heel injury. If you have not checked out Monkey Knife Fight yet, what are you waiting for? It’s a way to bet on individual player’s stats and has boosted odds if you get them correct.

11/21 Win Daily DFS Winner: Eric Paschall

Here is a preview of what to expect from the NBA DFS Game Preview articles written by Brandon C. Williams. Going up against the Dallas Mavericks, Paschall had a solid game by scoring 22 points, seven rebounds, and a steal.

Outlook for the rest of the season: This Golden State Warriors team is going to be BAD. Paschall will probably be the best bright spot of the team with all the injuries to their big-name players. He scored at least 15 points in five straight games. Expect him to continue playing at a high level.

11/21 DFS Winner: Jarrett Allen

Here is a little snippet from the DFS Diamonds written by Javier Prellezo. Jarrett Allen had a monster game against the Charlotte Hornets last night with 22 points, 17 rebounds and two steals.

Outlook for the rest of the season: This was easily Jarrett Allen’s best game so far this season. He finished with eight offensive rebounds and is developing into the center for the Nets. Even with DeAndre Jordan coming off the bench, Allen provides the most upside and Brooklyn isn’t afraid to role out both. Allen should average close to a double-double a night and with this upside, he deserves to be in your DFS lineups.
