When LOL DFS returns, it returns BIG TIME! Not only are we blessed with the LCS returning, we still have our everyday LPL/LCK schedule to tend to and to win some big money off of. Today is an exciting day for LOL DFS, and we are going to demolish this slate today! In this article, I will drop my top two LOL DFS stacks for tonight’s four-game LPL/LCK slate.

TOP PLAY:

My first stack, I am going to switch it up. Typically I will lead out with a big LPL team, but NOT TODAY! Today I’m going to start off by targeting one of the LCK teams. The highly anticipated first stack is going to be one that will shock a lot of people, and it’s going to be Hanwha Life Esports (HLE). HLE is a decent-sized favorite (-245) against DRX and mostly because HLE reached out and stole a few big players from DRX in the offseason.

The two players that are now starting for HLE were the heart and soul of DRX, and those players are Chovy (MID) and Deft (ADC). With Chovy and Deft on HLE, they know the ins and outs of the DRX strategic game plan. I believe that these two warriors will come out swinging en route to the obliteration of their former team in a kill-happy grudge match.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY:HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS (HLE) (-235)

SECONDARY PLAY:

The second stack I will prioritize with my LOL DFS lineups will be another shocker to the public. My shocking play will be Edward Gaming (EDG) facing off against the superpower team of FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) as a +160 underdog. FPX is by no means a cupcake of a team. They are one of the toughest teams currently in the WORLD.

The odds are that the public is going to be on FPX, and my underdog EDG pick is based on ownership. If EDG wins (I believe they can), they will give you a ton of leverage in a large field GPP. This is a very risky play, and I will also have a few FPX LOL DFS lineups, but in my opinion, EDG can pull out the win here. If they do, we will be sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboard.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK:EDWARD GAMING (EDG) (+160)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

When building LOL DFS lineups, I usually prioritize ADC and MID as the captain. This is a slate that you will need to get different. When getting different, I recommend sticking to the two stacks you choose and having another lineup or two using a JNG captain. I am not opposed to switching up from the standard LPL/LCK (Favorites) team stacks on this slate. If there is no risk, there is no reward. Remember to make sure that your LOL DFS lineup makes sense.

What happens when there is a bunch of LOL DFS? WE COVER IT! Even if it’s PreSeason. Today is day one of the LCS coming back to town, with the LCS being a best of one series. Excited is not the word that can do this justice. I will give you my top two plays for today’s day one of some LCS LOL DFS. We have a few significant changes in starting lineups, and I believe those changes will make or break some teams.

TOP PLAY:

The first stack I am going to target is Cloud9 (C9). They are a -325 favorite against Evil Geniuses (EG). I think a lot of people might actually fade C9 because of EG. They are an extremely underrated team with upset potential. Honestly, though, I don’t think they take out C9, and I’m excited as hell to see Perkz (MID) on C9. It will fit his strategic game planning to a Tee and could push Zven (ADC) into more battles that he can win. They say one player doesn’t make the team, but he can definitely increase play speed and overall fundamentals of C9. EG has a great team and always has excellent game planning, but C9 will be too much for them to hold back. This should be a bloody matchup, favoring C9.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: CLOUD9 (C9) (-325)

SECONDARY PLAY:

The second team I will lay the dough on will be Team Dignitas (DIG) as a +200 underdog. DIG has made some terrible decisions in their previous split but should be back with an updated roster. Team Dignitas should come in under owned to the field with many people forcing in big favorites into their LOL DFS lineups. DIG is going to war against Flyquest (FLY), a team that has been a fan favorite. If DIG can stick to the playbook and force the MID and BOT lane, they can pull out a surprise upset. This is not a safe play and should be used in GPP’s ONLY.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: TEAM DIGNITAS (DIG) (+200)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

When building my LOL DFS lineups, I would typically prioritize MID and ADC as my captain. In this scenario, with the LCS being only a best of one series, any position can be optimal as your captain. I will still have many lineups using MID and ADC as captain, but I am not opposed to using JNG or TOP to suit the salary requirements. Use your best judgment when building your lineups, and the sky is the limit. I will have many lineups from multiple different team stacks in order to cover my bases, and I recommend that you do the same. Especially being the first day of the return of the LCS and having minimal data to research.

We have a lot of LOL DFS coming our way very soon. For now, we are going to lock and load on our LPL/LCK combo slates. There are some heavy favorites tonight, and I will give you my two favorite stacks of the night.

TOP PLAY:

The first stack I will roll out in my lineups will be Rogue Warriors (RW). RW is dropping into the rift against a mediocre and kill feeding team of EStar (ES). RW is a -225 favorite and is the highest priced for LOL DFS. They can produce a heavy amount of kills in general, and now they are facing a team the allows plenty of kills. If you add those two stats together, it lines up for an explosion of fantasy points, and I’m hoping that an RW stack can be the start of a fantastic LOL DFS lineup.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: ROGUE WARRIORS (RW) (-225)

SECONDARY PLAY:

The second stack I’m going to force into my LOL DFS lineups will be a -400 favorite in Damwon Gaming (DWG), with the likes of Canyon at the captain position as my favorite. DWG is a phenomenal team, and they are increasing their skill level with every game that passes. DWG surrounds their strategic planning around the Jungle position. This is why stacking DWG with the JNG captain can most definitely be an optimal stack and a perfect opportunity to leverage the field in large field Gpps and cash games.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: DAMWON GAMING (DWG) (-400)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

When building LOL DFS lineups, I usually prioritize ADC and MID as the captain. This is a slate that you will need to get different. When getting different, I recommend sticking to the two stacks you choose and having another lineup or two using a JNG captain. I am not opposed to switching up from the standard LPL/LCK (Favorites) team stacks on this slate. If there is no risk, there is no reward. Remember to make sure that your LOL DFS lineup makes sense.

The first big upset has happened in LOL DFS, and we didn’t have to wait long. It came on our first LPL/LCK combo slate with LNG taking down IG with a rapid 2-0 sweep. This shows that anything is possible with LOL DFS, and we should continue to take risks. I will release two of my favorite stacks and picks for tonight’s four-game LOL DFS slate.

TOP PLAY:

The first stack that I am going to state is by no means a lock. It is a hazardous play, and I recommend to proceed with caution. My risky play will be BiliBili Gaming (BLG). BLG is set to battle a great team in JD Gaming (JDG) as a +205 underdog. BLG has been a nonstop roller coaster ride for anyone who has backed them the last few splits. With their additions and adjustments that they made, I feel they can make a run for the title if they continue to impress.

BLG just defeated a rebuilding EStar team while producing an impressive 42 kills. I believe that is just the tip of the iceberg, and they can do much better. My money will be on BLG to potentially upset JDG in their upcoming face-off in the rift. I will have a few shares of JDG to cover my tracks.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: BILIBILI GAMING (BLG) (+205)

SECONDARY PLAY:

My second stack will come from the LCK. NS Redforce (NS) not only rebuilt their team, but they changed their name from Team Dynamics. They were a surprise team at the beginning of the Summer split and continued to surprise in the KeSPA Cup. I believe they will pay off as the -205 favorite against SB with no problems at all. Stacking these two teams will make it very easy to run either ADC or MID as the captain.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: NS REDFORCE (NS) (-205)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

When building LOL DFS lineups, I usually prioritize ADC and MID as the captain. This is a slate that you will need to get different. When getting different, I recommend sticking to the two stacks you choose and having another lineup or two using a JNG captain. I am not opposed to switching up from the standard LPL/LCK (Favorites) team stacks on this slate. If there is no risk, there is no reward. Remember to make sure that your LOL DFS lineup makes sense.

One thing that I feel is tremendously important is understanding the vocabulary within DFS. New players can sometimes be overwhelmed and a little embarrassed to ask what in the world we are talking about in our articles and in discord. First thing, don’t be. There is not a single content creator that will give you grief for not knowing something. We have a lingo all our own and it can take time to get up to speed and experienced players can sometimes forget that, inadvertently leaving newer players confused and frustrated. This article will be consistently updated so if you want more information simply ask via direct message and I will be happy to answer your question and add to the article for future use. Let’s not waste anymore time and I hope you enjoy our Win Daily Sports DFS Glossary of terms.

Win Daily Sports DFS Glossary of terms:

In additions to Win Daily Sports DFS Glossary of terms we also have a ton of informational material from writers like StixPicks (click here for his NFL strategy guide) or Jason and excerpts from his book . No matter what you need in the sports world we have you covered.

GPP or Guaranteed Prize Pool/Tournament:

These are tournaments where the pay structure is pre-defined prior to the start of the contest and the pay structure increases the higher you finish in the final standings. They can either be single entry or multi entry. The Millionaire Maker is the most notable example.

Cash Contests/Double-Ups/50-50’s:

These are contests where if you finish above a certain point in the field you are payed a pre-determined amount that does not change based on final standings. Finishing in the top 50 percent (50-50’s) on FanDuel or roughly top 40 percent (double ups) on DraftKings will result in a positive outcome. These are the easiest contests to cash and the best place for new players to focus on while building bankroll.

MME/Multi Entry/Mega Multi Entry:

Contests where you are allowed to enter more than 1 lineup in a given contest. These contests can range from 3-entries up to 150 entries per contest. These are the most difficult kinds of contests for people to win and with the exception of the 3 entry max should be avoided by most players who do not have an already established bankroll.

Single Entry Contests:

Contests that only allow you to enter a single lineup in a given contest. All new players and even established players should focus the majority of their bankroll on this style of contest. The potential winnings are not nearly as attractive to new players as the giant MME contests but they are by far the best choice for sustained growth. There are both GPP and Cash versions of single entry contests.

Rake:

Rake is the percentage of the overall prize pool that a given site will remove as profit from what is payed out in the player prize pool. Typically, MME GPP’s and smaller entry fee contests have the highest rake sometimes reaching 16% of entry fees removed while higher entry fee contests can see as low as 8% rake. That 8% will directly affect where the pay line sits as well as payout structure i.e. Top 24% of players will cash as opposed to top 18% or top 5 players winning $10K, $8K, $6K, $4K, $3K as opposed to top 5 players winning $10K, $5K, $2K, $1K, $750. These percentages change every given week and will give us the basis for many of our plays on a given week.

Overlay:

You don’t see this one all that often in NFL contests but overlay does still happen. Overlay happens when GPP’s do not fill up and it provides an additional advantage in your overall chances to win. As an example if a contest that has 10,000 maximum entries and only pays the top 2,000 players that means 20% percent of people will win. If only 8,000 people enter that contest they will still pay the top 2,000 people and you now have a 25% chance to win. That 5% improvement in your odds is huge over the long term for your success. It’s harder to predict but if you have a lineup that you feel very confident in and you watch the contest lobby you can give yourself an edge that not everyone will be looking for.

Floor:

The minimum expected points for a given player in a contest.

Ceiling:

The maximum expected points for a given player in a contest.

Freeroll:

A contest that is offered by DFS sites that are free to enter but still award cash prizes.

$/Point:

Dollars per point; the cost in dollars each projected point costs. For example, if a given players costs $5,000 and is projected for 10 points, you would divide $5,000 by 10 to get $500/point. For this particular formula the lower the number the better.

4x, 5x, 6x…,ect salary:

You see us say this all the time. “I think a player will go 8x”. Simply put it is the cost of the player divided by number of points they score. For example, if a player scores 50 points and has a salary of $10,000 they finished at 5x their salary

Bankroll:

The money you have available to invest in daily fantasy sports.

Correlation:

In DFS, correlation means that two or more players whose outcome are connected. The most common correlation is a QB/WR in NFL. We use correlations often in GPP contests to maximize potential points in your lineup.

Fade:

To fade a player is to avoid using a player in a given slate.

ROI

Return on investment. Applies to how much profit you make relative to money in play.

Stars and Scrubs:

A build structure that involves using several low-min priced players and several near max players. This build is typically most effective when there are several key players who are out due to injury and rest allowing the min prices players to see extended time on the court.

Balanced:

A balanced build in DFS is simply a lineup where most of your players are roughly the same price.

Tilt:

Tilting usually happens when a person’s lineups suffers a catastrophic event (late scratch, poor performance, early injury) that causes a player to essentially lose any chance at cashing. Typically the person proceeds to act belligerent towards the athlete or person(s) who recommended using that player. It could also lead to jamming in more of your bankroll into late slates when making emotional decisions that could lead to poor bankroll management. Note to all new players, don’t be this person.

Train:

The same lineup being entered multiple times into a multi-entry tournament.

Triple-Up:

A contest where winners triple their entry fee when finishing above the cash line.

Cash Line:

The minimum scoring line that you will need to exceed in order to cash in a given event I.E. if you score 300 points and the cash line is 290 than you will finish above the cash line.

Viable:

Used to describe a player that can be expected to return value at his current price in most circumstances i.e. “A.J. Brown is a viable option at $5,000 dollars”.

Stack/Stacking

A pairing of multiple players from the same team or in the same game. This is a common strategy in GPP’s to maximize potential points from a given game. In tournaments a very common stack is to pair a Quarterback with his favorite receiver. In a game stack you would pair a Quarterback with his favorite receiver and then add a opponent or two from the same game.

We finally have the beloved LCK back in full force for some LOL DFS. With the return of the LCK, it means the return of the LPL and LCK combo slates. Tonight, I will drop my two favorite LOL DFS stacks and explain how we can combine our winners and turn them into a LOL DFS GPP/Cash game score.

TOP PLAY:

My top stack is going to come from one of the LPL series. It is coming from what will be a bloody affair. Team WE (WE) will battle against Victory Five (V5) as a -265 favorite. WE has shown and proven that they should not be messed with and can potentially destroy any opponent in their path. WE has made massive changes to their starting lineup, and it has proven to pay off for them. They have dismantled many opponents and has put their foot down on anyone trying to go through them. Even though V5 has a skilled team, I believe that WE will be able to stop them in their tracks en route to the highest-scoring series of this LOL DFS slate.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: TEAM WE (WE) (-265)

SECONDARY PLAY:

My second favorite stack is coming from the other LPL series between LNG Esports (LNG) and Invictus Gaming (IG). IG is a heavy favorite (-650), and for a good reason. They are an absolute powerhouse, and many people have been overlooking them. Overlooking IG could be a massive mistake. They have a team that together can outwork any specific strategy thrown their way. IG is looking to rise to the top, and I think they will do it reasonably fast. LNG has a lot of rebuilding and practice to do, but I don’t think they will be practicing against IG.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: INVICTUS GAMING (IG) (-650)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

When building LOL DFS lineups, I usually prioritize ADC and MID as the captain. This is a unique slate that you will need to get different. When getting different, I recommend sticking to the two stacks you choose and having another lineup or two using a JNG captain. I am not opposed to using a one-off at a particular position from an LCK team or by switching up from the standard LPL team stacks on this slate. If there is no risk, there is no reward. Remember to make sure that your LOL DFS lineup makes sense.

It is officially takedown season for LOL DFS. We have now hit four winners in a row, and we don’t plan on stopping now. Tonight we have action from two of the best teams in the LPL, and we are looking to cash out big time with some LOL DFS lineups. I am going to produce my top two plays for this LPL slate.

TOP PLAY:

FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) is coming in hot as a -850 favorite in the Vegas world with projected kills per game of 18.5 against Oh My God (OMG). Not only has their opponent rebuilt their starting lineup but, so did FPX. FPX now has the firing power at every position and will hold their foot to the floor until the very end. The mediocre OMG team will be in for a big surprise in multiple different lanes, with the Top lane being one of them. The addition of superstar Nuguri from the LCK team Damwon Gaming should be the nail in the coffin for any OMG hope.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: FUNPLUS PHOENIX (FPX) (-850)

SECONDARY PLAY:

The second series is set to start at six am est. in my opinion, it will be over before it starts. Top Esports (TES) is set to take the stage as a -1800 favorite against Rogue Warriors (RW). This battle should be quick and easy for TES. RW is coming off a 2-0 sweep, and I think they are set up to be disappointed once again once they realize the monster team they are about to face. Look for TES to end this series with a fast 2-0 sweep.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: TOP ESPORTS (TES) (-1800)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

I will pretty much lock-in ADC and MID as my captain option in my LOL DFS lineups. When running TES/EDG lines, I will have no problem plugging in a Jungler (JNG) in my captain spot. I recommend that you run ADC or MID at the captain for your LOL DFS lineups. With it being difficult to build with ADC or MID with these picks, I will use JNG or TOP at the captain. Remember, NO RISK, NO REWARD. Sometimes it is worth it to take a chance with an uncomfortable LOL DFS build.

Day three of some LPL LOL DFS! We are ready once again to make some money and destroy this slate. Yesterday, we hit both of our picks, and we are going harder today. Tonight is a crazy matchup of former Dominus Esports l, currently TT, against a rebuilding team (RNG). Before that, we have a series that is a thriller with BLG and Estar.

TOP PLAY:

The first match of the day is the completely revamped BLG squad (-315) versus EStar (ES) (+220). BLG made some massive changes for the better, bring in players from everywhere. They are determined to make a statement here, and I believe they can easily do that against an ES team that looks like a spitting image, if not worse than the last split. ES is a kill feeding team, and I think they will let up even more kills than normal tonight. Look for BLG to wipe the floor with ES.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: BILIBILI GAMING (BLG) (-315)

SECONDARY PLAY:

The second series is going to be a barn burner, in my opinion, coming from only one side. Just because DMO changed their name to TT does not make them any better from that alone. Even though they have started the rebuilding process, they have not made the correct changes. They are a big underdog at +320 facing off against the -500 favorite RNG. RNG is also rebuilding, but they have inserted pieces into their puzzle of a starting lineup that can definitely turn heads. The addition of Cryin and WEI will be an exciting duo to watch. Those two alone can force anyone into creating mistakes, and I think TT will make plenty of mistakes all on their own.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP (RNG) (-500)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

I will pretty much lock-in ADC and MID as my captain option in my LOL DFS lineups. When running TES/EDG lines, I will have no problem plugging in a Jungler (JNG) in my captain spot. I recommend that you run ADC or MID at the captain for your LOL DFS lineups. With it being difficult to build with ADC or MID with these picks, I will use JNG at captain. Remember, NO RISK, NO REWARD. Sometimes it is worth it to take a chance with an uncomfortable LOL DFS build.

We are locked and loaded, ready for some LOL DFS. Tonight is the second day back of the LPL (Chinese League). The first day into the new 2021 LPL Spring Split did not disappoint. We watched the best team in the past few splits (TES) get obliterated by an up and coming, young squad (SN). Tonight is another amazing LOL DFS Slate with two exciting matchups. I am going to give you my top two plays from tonight’s LOL DFS Slate.

TOP PLAY:

The first team I will focus on is a team that made one of the best teams (JDG) in the LPL look like a rookie team in the DEMACIA Cup. That team is Team WE (WE). WE is coming in as a -500 favorite with a projected kill per game of 17.5. WE is squaring off against Rogue Warriors (RW), who is a +320 underdog. RW was an exciting team to watch in the previous splits. They would always start every match, get a lead, and then completely self destruct. They turned into a kill feeding team that made it very profitable to bet against them. I think WE takes RW to the cleaners and sweeps them in their best of three battle.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: TEAM WE (WE) (-500)

SECONDARY PLAY:

My second choice of this two-game LOL DFS Slate is coming from a match against two powerhouse teams. The two powerhouses facing off are JD Gaming (JDG) as a -150 favorite and Invictus Gaming (IG), a slight underdog at +115. From everything that I have gathered, I see many people hopping on JDG in this spot. There is absolutely no issue with jumping on a good team in a decent spot, but, in my opinion, I think that many people are overlooking IG.

IG is a very tactical team that can easily use their opponent’s weaknesses against them. They can rapidly change a strategy in the middle of their match and adapt to anything thrown their way. I think that IG does precisely that to JDG. I do see this series going down to the final minute of the third match, and I will have shares of both sides. My LOL DFS lineups will be pretty much split even with these two teams with the lean going over to Invictus Gaming to take this one home.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: INVICTUS GAMING (IG) (+115)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

I will pretty much lock-in ADC and MID as my captain option in my LOL DFS lineups. When running TES/EDG lines, I will have no problem plugging in a Jungler (JNG) in my captain spot. If you want to be really tricky and take a significant risk on OMG, I recommend that you run ADC or MID at the captain for your LOL DFS lineups. Remember, NO RISK, NO REWARD. Sometimes it is worth it to take a chance with an uncomfortable LOL DFS build.

We are welcoming back some LPL LOL DFS action with a solid two-game slate. Tonight we have a few big games, with the Top team in the LPL starting it off. I am going to give you two stacks that could help you take down a big GPP.

TOP PLAY:

The first match is TOP ESPORTS (TES), coming in as a -600 favorite against a kill feeding team. The kill feeding team is none other than Suning Gaming (SN). SN is a +370 underdog and has their hands full tonight. This matchup, to me, is an easy prediction. I refuse to bet against TES when they are playing, and that is going to continue here. The superstars on their team should continue where they left off and lockdown every position. I think TES takes this series in two games without giving SN much of any hope to win.

MY ESPORTS DFS TOP PLAY: TOP ESPORTS (TES) (-600)

SECONDARY PLAY:

The second match is a little trickier than the first. We have Oh My God (OMG) facing off against Edward Gaming (EDG). EDG is a -575 favorite, and I think that might be a little too high. This match should be closer to a -200 or -300 line. OMG has shown that on the right day, they can compete with the best of them. EDG has been demonstrated that they are top-tier but tend to fall to the most unexpected teams. I will have my fair share of EDG, but I am not counting OMG out. I will be locking in OMG into many of my lineups in hopes that they come out with the three-game upset.

MY ESPORTS SECONDARY DFS PICK: OH MY GOD (OMG) (+370)

ESPORTS DFS SLATE SUMMARY:

I will pretty much lock-in ADC and MID as my captain option in my LOL DFS lineups. When running TES/EDG lines, I will have no problem plugging in a Jungler (JNG) in my captain spot. If you want to be really tricky and take a significant risk on OMG, I recommend that you run ADC or MID at the captain for your LOL DFS lineups. Remember, NO RISK, NO REWARD. Sometimes it is worth it to take a chance with an uncomfortable LOL DFS build.
