10/24 DFS Winners – Win Daily’s Javier Prellezo – Again!

Another takedown of a tournament for our own Javier Prellezo. Javy has been one of the hottest DFS players on the planet as of late. Last Thursday, he qualified for the NHL Live Final from DraftKings. Sunday night, Javy won $20,000 on FanDuel by having three of the Top 15 spots in the Sunday Night Football tournament. On Monday night, he tied with fellow Win Daily DFS Expert David Jones for the top spot in the NFL Showdown tournament and won over $2,200. Then on Tuesday night, he netted another $2,200 in the NBA season opener. Last night, he took down multiple NBA tournaments with a $12,000 top prize on each. Javy is incredibly talented with multi-sport DFS expertise and you can read his work in his DFS Diamonds columns. 10/24 DFS Winner: Andrei Vasilevskiy

Here is a snippet of The Daily Hot Shot by Allan Fabrykant. Andrei Vasilevskiy had a good game against the Pittsburgh Penguins when he saved 37 of 39 shots, including one as time expired to clinch the victory. Vasilevskiy has a 2.99 goals against so far this season and five victories.

Outlook for the rest of the season: As stated above, Vasilevskiy has a 2.99 goals against. That ranks 30th in the NHL out of all goalies with at least four games played. He has yet to record a shutout this season as well, so he is going to need to play a lot better. Andrei also has a save percentage of .907, which needs to improve if the Lightning want to be successful for the remainder of the season and beyond.

10/24 Betting Winner: John L.

John L. (@MLBMovingAvg) had an incredible day betting on World Series Game 2. The Nationals and Astros were tied 2-2 after five innings and the Nats were able to dominate late and win 12-3. All four of these bets hit and you could check out John’s work here, where he focuses mainly on NFL prop bets with the N.Y. Prop Exchange.

10/24 DFS Winner: Kurt Suzuki

Here is a snippet from the World Series Showdown and Prop Picks article by Antonio D’Arcangelis. Kurt Suzuki had a solid game at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run against the Houston Astros in Game 2. Suzuki is a huge reason why the Nationals took a 2-0 series lead to Washington and have the Astros on the ropes. It’s one thing to have a solid game but another when you do it against Justin Verlander. He was 1-for-23 in the postseason entering this game and was definitely a value pick for anyone that jumped on Suzuki in their lineups.

10/24 Betting Winner: Capper Steve

Here is a snippet from the Sports Betting Picks that Capper Steve does every day. Four of the five picks hit as Portland lost by eight. Juan Soto has one of the biggest players in the MLB Postseason and has continued his dominance in Game 1 of the World Series. Soto went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI against probable A.L. Cy Young winner Gerrit Cole. His performance was a huge reason why the Washington Nationals took Game 1 of the series and he is just 20 years old. Expect Juan Soto to have a big series for the Nats and be a key factor if they end up winning their first World Series in franchise history.

10/23 DFS Winner: Capper Steve

Here is a snippet from Capper Steve’s Sports Betting Picks for yesterday’s slate of games from both NHL and NBA. If you followed each of the bets listed above, you would have added an extra 4.5 units to your bankroll. 10/22 Betting Winner: New England Patriots Defense

Here is a little piece from our Cash with the Flash article where he highlighted the Monday Night Football action. New England dominated the game from the opening kickoff and their defense was one of the biggest reasons for that. The defense forced six turnovers last night, including four interceptions and showed why they are considered elite. The Patriots sit as the top defense in the NFL at the end of Week 7 and the second-best against both the run and passing attacks.

Outlook for the rest of the season: This Patriots defense is scary good this season. Bill Belichick knows how to take a team’s biggest threat out of the game and did so with Le’Veon Bell last night. Bell had just 76 scrimmage yards and the entire Jets offense were unwatchable at times. There is a reason this Patriots team sits at 7-0 and shows no signs of stopping. Consider them almost a lock to return to the Super Bowl if their defense can continue this dominance.

10/22 DFS Winner: Travis Konecny

Chosen as one of the stacks on The Daily Hot Shot article written by DFS Pro Javier Prellezo, Travis Konecny had a good game against the Vegas Golden Knights. Konecny scored in the first period on a power play and added an assist as well.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Konecny is not known for having big point totals by the end of the year, with his career-high being 49, but he is on the way to breaking that mark. He is a point machine, having one in four of his last five games. With 10 points in seven games played, he is tied with names like Alex Ovechkin. Expect a new career-high in points and assists for Konecny this season and to be a solid choice in NHL DFS.

10/22 DFS Winner: Sony Michel

Sony Michel had a heck of a night against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. He finished with 19 carries for 42 yards and three touchdowns on the night. If the Patriots can get Michel going during the game, it opens up a lot for their offense. Now with reports that Mohamed Sanu will also be in Foxborough, the running game of New England has even less pressure on it.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Don’t look now but with this performance, he matched his season total of six touchdowns that he had last year. It would be nice to see his 3.3 yards per carry be a little higher, but he is doing his job in this Patriots offense. Their next matchup will be against the Cleveland Browns at home on Sunday. Cleveland allows the third-most rushing yards per game this season at 154.0 so expect a heavy dose of running.

10/21 DFS Winner: San Francisco Defense

Both guys chose the San Francisco 49ers as their top defensive team in the NFL on the Cheatsheet. The 49ers had a shutout and gave up just 154 total yards against the Washington Redskins. Defensive tackle Julian Taylor recovered an Adrian Peterson fumble.

Outlook for the rest of the season: The 49ers defense is on another level through six games as they have the best passing and total defense in the NFL. The unit is a huge reason why the 49ers are now 6-0 and don’t need their offense to do much in order to pick up wins. This was their first shutout of the year and probably won’t be their last. Expect the defense to continue dominating as they face lesser-tier offenses in the next few weeks.

10/21 DFS Winner: Chase Edmonds

Chase Edmonds had a huge day on the ground yesterday afternoon against the New York Giants. He finished with 27 carries for 126 yards and three touchdowns. In addition he had a pair of catches for 24 yards. With David Johnson injured, expect a lot of carries for Edmonds and some similar production.

Outlook for the rest of the season: With Johnson down, this was Edmonds’ first game with double-digit carries. He almost matched his season total in yards against a subpar Giants defense. Expect the Cardinals to give Edmonds a lot of touches going forward if David Johnson continues to battle an ankle problem. He should be a change of pace back otherwise.

10/21 DFS Winner: Marvin Jones Jr.

Here is a screenshot from NFL’s Next Gen Stats page of Marvin Jones Jr against the Minnesota Vikings yesterday. He finished with 10 receptions for 93 yards and four touchdowns. This was definitely a breakout performance for Jones, who hasn’t been getting many yards this season thus far.

Outlook for the rest of the season: The Lions need to target Jones more as the 10 receptions almost matched his last four games (11 catches). This also was his second-highest yardage game of the season. Expect Jones to get more action as the season progresses.

10/18 DFS Winner: Carter Hutton

As Allan Fabrykant highlighted in the Daily Hot Shot, Carter Hutton has had an excellent start to the season. Going against the Los Angeles Kings, Hutton had 47 saves and picked up his second consecutive shutout. Now at 5-0-0 this season, Hutton is proving to be one of the top goalies so far this season.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Carter Hutton has been phenomenal this season, with 1.70 goals allowed per game. Four of his seven goals allowed came in one game so he has proven he can be an elite goaltender. Expect Hutton to be a big target in NHL DFS for the next few Buffalo Sabres games.

10/18 Betting Winner – Phil Naessens

Phil had a great night betting on the NHL as all three of these bets ended up cashing out. His daily article, Cash with the Flash, highlighted these as his top picks for the NHL slate. 10/18 DFS Winner: Tyreek Hill

Even though there was no players with an incredible statistical game on Thursday Night Football, Tyreek Hill had a solid day. He had three catches for 74 yards and a touchdown, thrown by the backup quarterback, Matt Moore.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Even though Hill has not had that huge game we know he is capable of, he is putting decent numbers up. His production depends on the health of Pat Mahomes, which was injured in the second quarter last night. With the questionable secondary of the Green Bay Packers and an extended week of preparation, expect Hill to have a huge day or two in the upcoming weeks.

10/18 DFS Winner: Kansas City Defense

The Kansas City Chiefs had a solid game against the Denver Broncos last night in a divisional matchup. Their defense stepped up, as they allowed just six total points with a touchdown on the opening drive. They allowed 205 yards of total offense and held the Broncos to 1-of-13 on third downs. Kansas City also had nine sacks and two defensive touchdowns.

Outlook for the rest of the season: Kansas City is not an elite defense by any stretch of the imagination, ranking 25th in total defense. However, they allow only 21.4 points per game. They host the Green Bay Packers next Sunday and expect the Chiefs to hold the running game down and make them one dimensional.

In the biggest game in the history of the Washington Nationals, the team advanced to the World Series with a victory. Yan Gomes went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. He played big from the eight spot in the order and called a good game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Gomes has been hitting well in limited postseason exposure, batting .308 so far. Expect Gomes to be a factor for the World Series.

Here is a snippet from The Daily Hot Shot written by Allan Fabrykant, where he examines the best plays in the NHL. Petr Mrazek had a solid game on the road against the Los Angeles Kings. Mrazek did not give up a goal on 31 shots and recorded his first shutout of the season. He is one of the main reasons the Hurricanes are having a great start to the year. Outlook for the rest of the season: Petr Mrazek has been one of the best goaltenders in the league. He has given up 1.94 goals per game while on the ice and that ranks in the Top 10 of the NHL. Outlook for the rest of the season: Last night was the most yards in a single game for Golladay this season. He is quietly putting together a very good start to the season productivity wise. He has 364 yards this season and has been good for the past few weeks. Give him a solid look as you build next week’s lineup and beyond.

10/15 DFS Winner: Brett Connolly

Brett Connolly was a huge factor into why the Florida Panthers rallied back from down three goals to beat the New Jersey Devils last night. Connolly scored a pair of goals in his 16 minutes on the ice. He has increased his goal count each of the past two seasons and looks to be continuing that trend with his first goals of the season now under his belt. Expect him to have a good season as he looks to get the Panthers into the playoffs after just missing it last year.

10/15 DFS Winner: Stephen Strasburg

Stephen Strasburg had a heck of a performance in Game 3 of the NLCS last night against the St. Louis Cardinals. He went seven innings while allowing a run on seven hits and had 12 strikeouts without recording a walk. It is obvious how dominant this Washington pitching staff as the team sits one win away from the World Series.
