The Trail Blazers blew a fourth-quarter lead and lost at home to the Phoenix Suns and the Miami Heat failed to show up. This should be an intense, low scoring game but I am going to side with the Capitals in this one. Ottawa Senators vs Pittsburgh Penguins 7:00 pm ET

Pittsburgh has won their last five meetings and with the Senators playing its second game in as many nights, the Penguins should win this game handily. The line of -246 is a bit too high for my taste but the Penguins are 19-19 on the puck line and that’s probably where our bet should be placed tonight. The Penguins are 6-1 over their last seven games up against a Senators side that has lost three of its last five games. Pittsburgh is also 4-1 over their past five games on one day’s rest and also 4-1 after a victory. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests playing the Penguins to defeat the Senators by more than 1.5 goals tonight.

Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards 7:00 PM ET

The Wizards aren’t a very good team, to begin with, and when we remove four key players plus a questionable for tonight Bradley Beal, and it’s easy to see why taking Miami tonight is a good bet. The Wizards allow more points per game than anyone else in the NBA does and while Washington still scores a fourth-best 116 points per game, the Heat are one of the better defensive teams in the NBA. With the exception of Justice Winslow, Miami is healthy and enters this matchup riding a five-game winning streak and is 9-7 away from Miami up against a home team that is 4-8 at home this season. Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the points and playing Miami to cover tonight.

Phoenix Suns vs Portland Trail Blazers 10:00 pm ET

Cash with Flash Best Bets: Trail Blazers -180 Money Line

Neither team has played very well recently; the Suns are coming off a 112-100 road win over the Sacramento Kings that ended an eight-game losing streak. Portland has lost three straight contests with their most recent loss a 128-120 home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. I would love to recommend laying the four points and playing the Trail Blazers, but Portland is a strange team and is just 13-18-2 against the spread (ATS) this season. The Patriots have something to play for and if they win New England clinches the second seed in the AFC. New England buried Miami 43-0 in their first meeting this season in Miami but this is a different Dolphins team however its the same Patriots defense allowing only 13.2 points per game and just 289 yards of offense. The Dolphins offense has put up at least 20 points per game in each of its last five games but has allowed 30 points or more in four of their last five games. This is the game where the Patriots send a message and Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the wood and playing the Patriots to cover the spread today.

Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions 1:00 pm ET

Green Bay needs a victory in Detroit and also needs Seattle to defeat the 49ers and if that happens, the Packers are the number one seed in the NFC. Detroit isn’t going anywhere but they are 3-3 against the spread as the home underdog and is hoping to end an eight-game losing streak. The Packers have won four straight and has scored 20 points or more in four of their last five games. Detroit has scored at least 20 points once in the past five games but they will want to put up a good fight today and I suspect they will. Green Bay will likely win the game but Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests taking the points and playing the Lions to cover the spread today.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Kansas City Chiefs 1:00 pm

The Chiefs are in the playoffs and for the first time this season, Kansas City is healthy and enters this matchup riding a five-game winning streak. The Chargers have lost four of their last five games and are a 3-4 road team. The Chiefs defense hasn’t allowed more than 17 points in each of their last five games and the Chargers have scored 20 points or more just twice over their last five games. The Chiefs are going to want to put on a show for their home fans and Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests laying the points and taking the Chiefs to cover the spread this afternoon.

The Blackhawks are 1-5 at home over their last six games and up against an Islanders team that is 10-5-1 on the road this season. I bet when the NBA salivated over this game when the schedule was drafted. It should have been a terrific matchup but the Warriors are an injury-riddled team with the second-worst record in the NBA this season. Golden State is currently riding a two-game winning streak and up against a loaded Rockets team looking to extend a four-game winning streak of its own. Houston won game one of this four-game season series by 17 points in Houston and they should be able to cover the ten points in this contest. Los Angeles Clippers vs Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both listed as day to day but you can bet James will be on the floor for sure. Davis always has an injury distinction and we aren’t worried either way. The Clippers have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard to counter but where the Clippers excel is their bench and that bench is deeper and more experienced than what the Lakers put out there on a nightly basis. The Lakers have three consecutive games and they will likely lose their fourth when the Clippers beat them on Wednesday as they did in game one of their four-game season series. New Orleans Pelicans vs Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets have won five consecutive games and is 13-3 at home this season. New Orleans is missing rookie Zion Williamson and has won just two of its last five but enter this matchup coming off a road win over the Portland Trail Blazers. I know that’s a bunch of points to lay but the Pelicans are 5-10-1 against the spread when on the road and I suspect Denver will likely want to hammer New Orleans on national TV. Cash with Flash Best Bets went 2-1 on Sunday and ended up with our third losing week since the origination of this daily sports betting at the beginning of September.

I had a bad feeling about playing the Cowboys yesterday but we went with the percentages and wound up on the losing side of that one.

Sometimes that’s the way it goes in Sports Betting. I’m not sorry about it either; we didn’t lose because the picks were bad or Cash with Flash Best Bets was flipping coins when the picks were made.

Handicappers with a documented rate of 70 percent for this NFL season are wrong 30 percent of the time. Hopefully, Cash with Flash Best Bets can bounce back this week and you can end the year winning Cash with Flash.

The Vikings will be without running back Dalvin Cook and that’s a bigger deal than some might think it is. The Packers leaky rushing defense would have big trouble against an exceptional back like Cook and his backup is a game-time decision. Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is going to have to beat Green Bay through the air and the Packers do allow the tenth most passing yards per game, so I expect the Vikings to keep it close and probably win the game. Just not by 5.5 points against an Aaron Rodgers led offense in a big game like this is. Atlanta Hawks vs Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers are on a bit of a roll and riding a two-game home winning streak and host an Atlanta Hawks side on a seven-game losing streak. Hawks forward John Collins is supposed to return from his 25-game PEDS suspension but who knows what to expect from him? Cleveland isn’t a good team but they have more experience with a better bench and that should get them past the struggling Hawks. Buffalo Sabres vs Ottawa Senators

Buffalo is probably the better team but we know the Senators are a better home team with a 10-5-1 record whereas the Sabres are a below .500 road team with a 6-10-4 record. The Sabres have a below-average power-play and aside from winning at home, killing penalties is probably the best thing that Ottawa does, All three of the Sabres losses over their last three games have come on the road and Cash with Flash Best Bets suggests playing the Senators to defeat the Sabres tonight.
