This article discusses a core for DFS players to build around for today’s FanDuel NBA slate. While there are many different sports and various contests pertaining to DFS along with their respective strategies, we focus on the main approaches to build both reliable cash and GPP lineups for a successful NBA night including pace, the projected over/under, one on one matchups, and a team’s defensive rating. Make sure to stay active when building NBA lineups – if you cannot be in front of a computer, tablet, or on your phone an hour before lock do not throw your money away! NBA DFS lineups can change at the blink of an eye and are the most variable compared to any other sport in DFS; players get injured, some sit for load management, and others find themselves on the DNP list for other reasons; any of which can sway your lineup and where to find value. PointGuard: Russell Westbrook, Houston Rockets ($10,100)

Those in the industry that are discussing whether Mike Conley warrants consideration in their NBA lineups are not wrong; the Utah point guard seems to be rejuvenated in his last 3 games posting 34.5 FanDuel points per game across 31.67 minutes. However, in those same 3 games, the Jazz has allowed a whopping 58.33 points per game to opposing point guards, including two 60+ performances to Damian Lillard. Russell Westbrook is fresh from sitting out Houston’s last game and will continue his dominance in 2020.

Honorable Mention: Damian Lillard,Portland Trail Blazers ($9,900)

ShootingGuard: Dillon Brooks, Memphis Grizzlies ($5,500)

The public will be all over the Memphis-Washington game today and rightfully so. Boasting a 240.5 implied game total, there are plenty of viable pieces to consider for our NBA lineups tonight. Dillon Brooks is the man I want out of the Memphis backcourt; I love attacking Bradley Beal’s defense and Brooks has posted 29.2 FanDuel points per game over his last 8 games, scoring in double digits in 7/8.

Honorable Mention: Donovan Mitchell, UtahJazz ($7,100)

Small Forward: Bojan Bogdanovic, Utah Jazz ($5,700)

With the new-look Houston Rockets deploying one of the smallest lineups in the NBA, there is a gaping hole on the wing. We saw what Kelly Oubre Jr. and Mikal Bridges did against them just two nights ago, and tonight I’m going back to the well. Bojan Bogdanovic is often overlooked in a lineup that features Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, but I’ll be all over Bogdanovic’s safe floor and potential ceiling should he get hot from behind the 3-point line.

Honorable Mention: Tobias Harris, Philadelphia76ers ($6,600)

PowerForward: Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat ($8,000)

The Miami Heat will be traveling to Portland to face a blazing hot Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers without All-NBA talent Jimmy Butler. Without Butler in the lineup, Adebayo sees a notable usage uptick and faces an opponent in Hassan Whiteside that simply cannot play defense despite leading the NBA in blocks at 3.1 per game. The last time these two teams faced off, Butler was also out of the lineup at Adebayo posted a 20/8/6/1/1 scoring line for 41.6 FanDuel points.

Honorable Mention: Brandon Clarke, MemphisGrizzlies ($4,800)

Center:Hassan Whiteside, Portland Trail Blazers ($8,300)

There are a lot of good options on this NBA DFS slate to consider at the center position in Hassan Whiteside, Rudy Gobert, and Jonas Valanciunas. With Gobert facing the Houston team that loves to push the pace and scares teams off playing their big man and forcing their opponent to run-and-gun with them, his ceiling is capped, and the play scares me. Valanciunas is in a good spot versus Washington but I prefer Clarke coming off the bench with JVal sharing usage with Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks in the starting 5. Whiteside should feast in this game, having posted a 21/18/0/0/2 scoring line for 47.6 FanDuel points last time out. Oh, and for those into revenge narratives, you already know Whiteside would love to posterize his former team.

HonorableMention: Jonas Valanciunas, Memphis Grizzlies ($7,000)

Gamesto Consider:

  • MemphisGrizzlies @ Washington Wizards (240.5 over/under)
  • Utah Jazz @Houston Rockets (231.5 over/under)
  • Miami Heat @ PortlandTrail Blazers (228.5 over/under)

Isaiah’s Protocol for the NBA DFS slate is built around DraftKings pricing but is good across the industry with some slight adjustments to salaries on the various sites.

We are looking at a loaded 6 game NBA DFS slate tonight with a lot of intriguing pieces to play with. There is not a ton of value available at the time in which I’m writing this article. There are some questionable players to keep a watchful eye on though. Kawhi Leonard has yet to play in back to back games this season. Zach Lavine is also carrying a questionable tag with a neck injury. Trae Young has a bruised ankle but I expect him to play. Al Horford has some Achilles soreness, and Eric Gordon has a lower leg issue. Jimmy Butler and Clint Capela have already been ruled out. I advise all my readers to join the staff at WinDaily in our Discord chat rooms as we discuss important news as it unfolds.

THE STUDS

Trae Young ($10400), Damian Lillard ($10200), Bradley Beal ($9900), Russell Westbrook ($9800).

Take your pick. These guys all have the capabilities to put up 60+ DraftKings fantasy points (DKFPTS) on this NBA DFS slate. I’m personally leaning towards Dame in guaranteed prize pool (GPP) formats.

Lillard has a 31.7% usage rate which is actually the lowest of the 4. He also has the toughest matchup on paper. Miami ranks 1st in defense verse position (DVP) and 2nd in (DVA) which is a rank given to the opponent when facing this player’s archetype. This combination has Lillard’s projected ownership at 9%. Damian is the top-ranked point guard (PG) on today’s slate. Narratives aren’t really my thing but Lillard also comes into this contest fired up after losing his last game, in a playoff race, to a blown call by the referee. Jimmy Butler is going to miss this game as well.

Westbrook has the toughest matchup. Trae and Beal both have similar upsides. Young has a higher ceiling as he is rested after missing the last game and could easily dominate this Knick backcourt. I like Beal best for cash games as he’s the cheapest of the bunch and has the best match up. Memphis ranks 26th in DVP and 28th in DVA. This game also has the highest total (239) and fastest pace on this NBA DFS slate.

THE CORE

Julius Randle ($8400) Randle had 34.8 DKFPTS in just 22 minutes last time vs. this depleted Hawk frontcourt that ranks 25th in DVP.

Joel Embiid ($8200) The media has been tearing into Embiid all week blaming him for the Sixers losing streak and other deficiencies. Enter the Bulls horrendous frontcourt ranking 27th in DVP. I expect Joel to absolutely smash this spot today and this is the cheapest salary I’ve ever seen him at.

Paul George ($8100) I don’t expect Kawhi to play tonight. George has a 31.9% usage rate that gets a 3.5% spike without Leonard on the floor. He scores 1.35 fantasy points (FP) per minute. All things considered, Paul is projected to score 47 DKFPTS tonight in 33 minutes. That gives him 6X value at his salary in a favorable matchup against Cleveland’s 17th ranked DVP and 22nd ranked DVA.

Hassan Whiteside ($7600) Again, the cheapest I’ve seen his salary since mid-January. He scores 1.35 FP/min and has a matchup against his old team (Miami) which ranks 29th in DVA. Hassan also hates to miss games and is listed as probable after sitting out last game with a lower leg issue. Whiteside is projected for almost 50 DKFPTS in 33 minutes. That gives him just over 6X value on this NBA DFS slate.

THE OTHERS

I can’t write up everyone but I’m going to want some exposure to these players as well.

Donovan Mitchell ($7300), Collin Sexton ($6500), Ja Morant ($6300), Bojan Bogdanovic ($6000), Goran Dragic ($5900), Brandon Clarke ($5000), Dillon Brooks ($4900).

I love the Clarke play at 1%projected ownership over Brooks at 28%.

THE VALUE

Gary Trent Jr. ($3800) I haven’t really seen anyone mention him. Anfernee Simons has a concussion making Trent the leading backup for both Lillard and McCollum. He’s been ballin lately.  Gray scored 29 DKFPTS on the Spurs Wednesday, then turned around and dropped 31 on the Jazz in 38 minutes Thursday night.

De’Anthony Melton ($4000) My optimizers have been pushing him into every lineup I’ve built all morning no matter what I’ve done to stop it. I’m not crazy about the match up. Contrary to belief, Washington has switched up their backcourt and Ish Smith and Shabazz Napier are actually decent defenders. Melton is better known for his defense anyway. He’s also been in a slump lately. Here we are though.

There’s a ton to digest and a lot to talk about on this NBA DFS slate. I highly encourage all readers to join myself, and the rest of the WinDaily team in the Discord chat rooms as we break down and discuss our favorite plays. Thank you for reading my content and feel free to leave a comment, or hit me up on Twitter @IsaiahsProtocol.

In this column, I’ll highlight five NBA DFS 2/6 difference-making playsin GPPs, from studs with a huge upside to value plays who could hit 8x-10x.

These are risky plays who won’t always make the most sense forcash game builds, so buyer beware!

NBA DFS 2/6 — PG

Coby White, CHI (vs. NO) – DK $3,800

We’ve got alot of higher-priced guys in the Fearless Five this week, so I’m starting offwith a value play who’s been known to have massive upside when the opportunity presentsitself. Kris Dunn is out (sprained MCL) for tonight’s tilt with New Orleans andTomas Satoransky is playing with an ankle injury, so we could see biggerminutes (25+) from White in a plus matchup at home. If you can afford LonzoBall, he’s a solid play at $6,900, and we could always pivot to Bryn Forbes – aSpurs guard who benefits from an excellent matchup with the Blazers.

Pivot/Stack: Bryn Forbes/Lonzo Ball

NBA DFS 2/6 — SG

Zach Lavine, CHI (vs. NO) – DK $8,400

There aren’t too many healthy scorers available for the Bulls, andLavine is the kind of guy who could go for 40+ real-life points and 60+ DKpoints in a matchup like this. Spending down to C.J. McCollum make sense if you’relooking to attack the Spurs, and it makes sense to get some exposure to Josh Hartin NO-CHI game stacks. James Harden is $12,400 on DK, and while he’s always athreat to go off, the matchup is a tougher one, so I’ll be fading him save fora few wild lineups and HOU-LAL game stacks in multi-entry.

Pivot/Stack: C.J. McCollum/Josh Hart

NBA DFS 2/6 — SF

LeBron James, LAL (vs. HOU) – DK $10,400

If you can afford LBJ tonight,he could be worth it – considering the Rockets yield decent fantasy points todistributors and versatile forwards. Anthony Davis is currently probable (andjust $9,700) with his typical shoulder soreness, and this may be a rareopportunity where you could roster both. Still – keep any eye on the injurynews leading up to lock and strongly consider King James regardless of AD’sstatus. If for some reason AD can’t go or is limited, then we can play both Jamesand Kyle Kuzma.

Pivot/Stack: Aaron Gordon/Kyle Kuzma

NBA DFS 2/6 — PF

Zion Williamson, NO (@ CHI) – DK $7,700

The price on Zion has risen, but this is by far the best spot he’s had in his young pro career to dominatefrom a DFS perspective. The Bulls are going to have massive problems containingthe rookie, who is nursing a minor toe injury that shouldn’t keep him fromregistering a double-double and filling up the stat sheet. Julius Randle shouldbe considered a high-upside, low-owned GPPs option as well in this price range andstacking the NO-CHI game provides an opportunity to roster Thaddeus Young – who’sin a great spot with so many Bulls PFs injured.

Pivot/Stack: Julius Randle/Thaddeus Young

NBA DFS 2/6 — C

Brook Lopez, MIL (vs. PHI) – DK $5,200

Lopez has been postingdecent numbers lately despite a horrible shooting percentage (1-for-15 from 3PTrange in his last three games), and if he gets 30 minutes and can knock down acouple of bombs, he’s a solid bet to make 7x value in a game where the Sixersare going to do everything they can to stop Giannis. It’s a tough matchup onpaper, which is why I love him for GPPs where he could see low ownership. LMA(eligible at PF/C/F/UTIL) vs. his old team the Blazers makes for an interestingpivot given his cheap price and putrid output against the Lakers Tuesday night.

Pivot/Stack: LaMarcus Aldridge/Joel Embiid

Isaiah’s Protocol for the NBA DFS slate is built around DraftKings pricing, but is good across the industry with some slight adjustments to salaries on the various sites.

We have an interesting 9 game NBA DFS slate to look at tonight. There was a huge trade last night involving 4 teams. Clint Capela was shipped to the Hawks. Amongst some other moving parts, Robert Covington is on the way to Houston. Shabazz Napier was also sent to Denver. After all the dust settles, Minnesota will be playing with 9 players tonight.

The Hawks are in Minnesota tonight making this game a feast from a DFS perspective. These 2 teams rank in the bottom 4 in defense and are the 2 fastest-paced teams on the slate tonight. It’s no surprise that they have the highest implied team totals (ITT) as well. This game becomes a great target on this NBA DFS slate with Minnesota having a limited rotation. I advise all my readers to join the staff at WinDaily in our Discord chat rooms as we discuss important news as it unfolds.

THE STUDS

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10600) KAT has a 29.5% usage rate, a 23.3% assist rate, and a 16.7% rebound rate on the season. That produces a solid 1.54 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFPTS) per game. All these numbers will get a huge bump tonight. Atlanta ranks 25th in defense verse position (DVP) and 17th in (DVA) which is a rank given to the opponent when facing this player’s archetype.

Trae Young ($10100) Trae has a 37.1% usage rate and scores 1.44 fantasy points (FP) per minute. Minnesota ranks 29th in DVP and 15th in DVA. Young posted 57 DKFPTS against Minnesota in his previous meeting. With the T-Wolves being short-handed tonight, there should be enough value available to roster both these studs.

THE CORE

Kristaps Porzingis ($8300) His 25.1% usage rate and 1.2 FP/min. don’t tell the full story of his production as he’s been an absolute monster since Luka Doncic got injured. He’s played over 36 minutes and scored at least 55 DKFPTS in both games. Memphis ranks 19th in DVP and 20th in DVA and has the 5th highest pace on tonight’s NBA DFS slate. This Memphis/Dallas game has the second-highest total of the night at 228. With Dallas favored by 5 they have an ITT of 116.5. Expect Porzingis to have a solid chunk of that production.

Dennis Schroder ($6700) There’s chatter that the Thunder are shopping Schroder around as he’s been tearing it up lately. Dennis carries a 26.4% usage rate and scores 1.02 FP/min. That’s important considering he’s played over 30 minutes in 9 of the last 10 games, coming off the bench for OKC. Schroder has also gone over 40 DKFPTS in 4 of his last 6 games. Cleveland ranks 30th in DVA and 21st in DVP.

Draymond Green ($6600) Dray seems to have found his rhythm lately. He’s scored over 40 DKFPTS in 3 of his last 4 games. I usually like to attack the Nets with guards. D’Angelo Russell ($8400) has a great match up and narrative tonight as well. Golden State/Brooklyn has the third-highest total on this NBA DFS slate. I’d like to find a piece of this game and I like Greens’ opportunity, for a discounted price.

THE VALUE

Reggie Jackson ($4900) The Piston backcourt is banged up right now. Jackson has a clear path to minutes on this NBA DFS slate. Jackson has had some rough games lately where he’s shot poorly (1-16 on 2/3, and 2-12 on 1/31). He should go low owned tonight and this is a cheap price for his potential. Reggie has a 26.6% usage rate and scores 1.04 FP/min. Targeting this Phoenix team with guards is smart as they rank 25th in DVP.

Minnesota Timberwolves: There are a lot of different value options available for Minnesota tonight. Jarrett Culver ($3900) should be the chalk as the best option to start at point guard vs. the Hawks 22nd DVP and 23rd DVA defense. Personally, I like Kelan Martin ($3300) better. Martin is one of the only PF’s available for Minnesota tonight. The Hawks rank 27th in DVP and 30th in DVA at his position.

There’s a lot to consider on this NBA DFS slate tonight. I encourage all readers to join myself, and the rest of the WinDaily team in the Discord chat rooms as we break down and discuss our favorite plays. Thank you for reading my content and feel free to leave a comment, or hit me up on Twitter @IsaiahsProtocol.

Stay alert on the WinDaily Discord chat to follow along with our updated plays. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Point Guard: Jalen Brunson, Dallas Mavericks ($5,700)

His first chalk night at a mere $3,600 on FanDuel flopped but Jalen Brunson came out in a big way last game with THJ struggling and Porzingis out. The Unicorn is back in tonight which will take away from his usage, but Seth Curry is out, leaving the Mavs with limited backcourt options.

GPP: Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies ($7,300)

Draws a favorable matchupversus a Detroit Pistons team that struggles to defend primary ball handlers. Whetherit be Derrick Rose (questionable) or Reggie Jackson drawing the start at pointguard, Morant is a low owned play that could pay off in big NBA GPPs tonight.

GPP: Malcolm Brogdon, Indiana Pacers ($6,500)

With TJ Warren out, look for Brogdon, Lamb, and Sabonis to carry the load offensively for the Pacers tonight. Brogdon draws a better matchup in Jalen Brunson than he would have if Luka Doncic had been healthy and could provide a safe floor on tonight’s NBA slate.

Punts

Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks($4,800) – IF Trae Young is OUT

Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons($4,500) – IF Derrick Rose is OUT, LOCK!

Shooting Guard: Spencer Dinwiddie, Brooklyn Nets ($7,100)

Lock button with Kyrie Irving out. Dinwiddie will draw into the starting lineup and thrash a Phoenix Suns team that gets torched by primary ball handlers. Game script should be in his favor tonight with this one likely staying close, don’t overthink it.

GPP: Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($10,500)

He’s in a great spot tonight versus a Warriors team that allows a ton of NBA FanDuel points to opposing guards (43.49 per game to shooting guards) but his price is a little too steep for me tonight. He could come in at lower ownership because of the salary spike, making for an intriguing GPP play.

GPP: D’Angelo Russell, Golden State Warriors ($8,000)

I’m a big Warriors and DLofan and this matchup is just too good to ignore for the sharpshooter. He is nota priority for me tonight, but his upside in this matchup is tremendous; hefaces a Wizards team that allows the most NBA FanDuel points to opposingshooting guards at 44.83 per game.

Punts

Kevin Huerter, Atlanta Hawks($5,000)

Jeremy Lamb, Indiana Pacers($4,300)

Small Forward: Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics ($6,800)

Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart are out, meaning Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum will see most of the offensive touches alongside Gordon Hayward tonight. Another NBA narrative play, JB is from Atlanta and will be playing in his hometown in front of his family in a great spot versus an Atlanta Hawks team that cannot play defense. Lock.

Pivot: Gordon Hayward, Boston Celtics ($6,500)

Some might build with bothJaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward tonight but his salary is a little too steep forhis ceiling. Like the play with Walker and Smart out, just not in love with itsince I am so high on Jaylen Brown.

GPP: Alec Burks, Golden State Warriors ($5,100)

If D’Angelo Russell is ruled out tonight, play Burkswill extreme confidence. He usually handles the ball for the second unit but ifhe starts, he is in a great spot versus the Wizards who allow over 46 NBAFanDuel points per game to primary ball handlers.

Power Forward: Kristaps Porzingis, Dallas Mavericks ($8,000)

Porzingis draws a tough matchup versus Sabonis tonight but if he slots in at center, my ownership percentages will increase drastically. He had 54.4 FanDuel points in Luka Doncic’s first game out of the lineup last week versus the Rockets and will carry the load on offense yet again.

Pivot Option: John Collins, Atlanta Hawks ($8,100)

I like this NBA play more ifTrae Young is out, but he still warrants consideration as a pivot to my nexttwo plays who will carry more ownership. If Trae Young is out, Collins sees adrastic usage bump and will have to put up plenty of points for the Hawks tostay in this one.

Pivot Option: Domantas Sabonis, Indiana Pacers ($8,100)

He will be tasked withguarding Kristaps Porzingis alongside Myles Turner but the former will carry theload on offense. A versatile threat on the offensive side of the ball, Sabonisshould see more touches with TJ Warren ruled out if he can stay out of foultrouble.

Pivot Option: Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics ($7,900)

Getting the Celtics righttonight will be important on tonight’s NBA slate and I think Tatum and JaylenBrown thrive in this game versus the Atlanta Hawks. He can fill the box scoreand pile up defensive stats rather quickly and look for him to do just that tonight.

GPP: LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio Spurs ($6,800)

Center: Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves ($10,000)

The big man should dominate tonight with Sacramento struggling with injuries to their frontcourt. KAT sees so much usage that he is impossible to ignore on any NBA slate, and I’ll have my fair number of shares.

Top Pivot: Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons ($9,700)

Drummond has as high of a ceiling as anyone in NBA DFS thanks to his defensive contributions and ability to rack up a 20/20 game at any time. For those that follow our plays often, we love to attack Memphis’ defense and this is a great spot for Drummond.

GPP play: Nikola Vucevic, Orlando Magic ($8,600)

Carrying a surprisingly low ownership projection at the time of writing, Vuc will face a Charlotte frontcourt that has been decimated by opposing centers all season long, allowing an NBA-high 58.65 FanDuel points per game.

Punt: Marquese Chriss, Golden State Warriors ($5,000)

Welcome Back, Everyone! Tonight’s main slate on DraftKings has a total of 6 games and the first match-up tips off at 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time. There isn’t a ton of value within tonight’s slate and on top of that; many players are making a return from injury. Make sure to stay up to date with the latest NBA injury news throughout the afternoon. Good luck tonight!

-NBA Schedule-

CHI @ IND – At 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time
MEM @ NY – At 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
DET @ BKN – At 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time
UTA @ SA – At 8:30 P.M. Eastern Time
HOU @ POR – At 10:00 P.M. Eastern Time
OKC @ SAC – At 10:00 P.M. Eastern Time

TOP PG Picks:

Damian Lillard – DK: ($10,500)

Lillard has scored at least 47 points in each of his last three games. On top of that, he’s racked up at least 45 fantasy points on DraftKings in each of his last seven games. Tonight he will take on Houston who is currently ranked 29th in the NBA against opposing PG’s. This will be Lillard’s third time this season taking on the Rockets and he’s averaging 42.6 fantasy points per game against them. Look for him to have another big stat line tonight as the Rockets are somewhat banged up.

Russell Westbrook – DK: ($10,400)

Westbrook is a great DFS play tonight as Houston gets set to take on Portland for the third time this season. The Trail Blazers are brutal at playing defense against opposing guards. In fact, they are ranked 28th in the NBA against opposing PG’s. The main reason I like this play so much is the mere fact that Westbrook is averaging 69.3 fantasy points per game against Portland this season. Houston might not have Harden or Capella which means Westbrook would shoulder a hefty load tonight. Even if those guys play, Westbrook should be in for a big game.

Derrick Rose – DK: ($7,600)

Derrick Rose has now recorded at least 32 fantasy points on DraftKings in each of his last ten games. Tonight he is faced with a very exploitable match-up against the Brooklyn Nets who are ranked 30th in the NBA against opposing PG’s. Going off of that; Rose just played Brooklyn four nights ago and was able to put up 45.5 fantasy points on DraftKings. The fact that he’s finally seeing 30+ minutes of playing time makes him a nightly threat in DFS formats.

Elfrid Payton – DK: ($6,300)

Although I’d still like to see Payton score the ball more; he’s been playing very well recently. In fact, he’s now recorded at least 32 points on DraftKings in each of his last 6 games. The Grizzlies don’t have the greatest defense so I think this will be a higher-scoring game than people anticipate. The key to success for Payton isn’t going to come from 1 category. He’s the kind of player that fills up the stat-sheet on most nights. Look for him to have a floor of 30 fantasy points tonight.

Top SG Picks:

Zach LaVine – DK: ($8,600)

LaVine is a solid play on tonight’s slate given how well he continues to play. He’s now recorded at least 33 fantasy points on DraftKings in each of his last ten games. I know Indiana has a solid defense. However, LaVine has already played them twice this season and is averaging a solid 43.6 fantasy points per game against them. Going off that, Chicago is dealing with a plethora of injuries which is forcing them to lean on LaVine even more. Which makes him an even more appealing DFS play tonight.

Dennis Schroder – DK: ($7,000)

Dennis Schroder has been on a roll as of late having now put up at least 35 points on DraftKings in seven out of his last eight games. On top of that, he’s gone five straight games now having made 3 or more three-pointers. At the end of the day, I don’t love the SG position tonight because if James Harden sits out, then the ownership, in general, is going to be very distributed. For that reason, I am honing in on guys with decent price-points that have high upside. Expect Schroder to have a floor of 30 fantasy points tonight.

CJ McCollum – DK: ($6,900)

After missing his previous three games, McCollum came out hot against Indiana as he put up 39.25 fantasy points on DraftKings in 36 minutes of action. Tonight he gets another solid match-up against Houston who is ranked 29th in the NBA against opposing SG’s. This is also CJ’s third time playing Houston this season and he’s currently averaging 41 fantasy points per game against them. Look for him to have a floor of 40 fantasy points tonight.

Dillon Brooks – DK: ($6,200)

With Jae Crowder still sidelined with injury, Brooks will continue to see a small uptick in minutes. He’s put together a nice string of three straight 33+ fantasy point games. The one scary thing with a guy like Brooks is the fact that he’s recorded at least 31 points on DraftKings in eight of his last ten games. In the two other games, Brooks failed to reach 10 fantasy points. Nevertheless, he is in a good position tonight to have a floor of 28 fantasy points. Lastly, his price just increased so many people will likely avoid his name on this slate. If he hits 35+ fantasy points tonight he will be a SMASH.

Top SF Picks:

Danilo Gallinari – DK: ($6,800)

If you are looking for consistency in your lineup tonight, Gallinari is your guy. He has recorded at least 32 points on DraftKings in nine of his last ten games. Tonight he will be taking on Sacramento for the second time this season. In the first match-up, Gallinari put up 30.5 fantasy points in 33 minutes of action. He’s a solid DFS play tonight because of his high floor and high ceiling potential.

Marcus Morris – DK: ($6,500)

Marcus Morris continues to be a huge part of the New Works offense as evidenced by his current streak of scoring at least 17 points in each of his last ten games. During that same stretch, Morris had eight games with 29 or more fantasy points on DraftKings. Tonight he has a solid home-court match-up against a Memphis defense that gives up 115.4 points per game this season. Look for him to continue his dominance in the scoring column and for a floor of 30 fantasy points.

TJ Warren – DK: ($5,800)

Even though Victor Oladipo is coming back tonight, I’m still going to go with Warren. Oladipo is 100% going to be playing limited minutes which will allow for Warren to go about his usual self tonight. It’s honestly more about the match-up being against Chicago who has shown that they cannot guard opposing SF’s this year. (Ranked 29th in NBA). His price is also very affordable for tonight’s slate. Look for a floor of 27 fantasy points tonight.

Top PF Picks:

Domantas Sabonis – DK: ($9,400)

Sabonis is very difficult to ignore tonight seeing as he’s one of the top big men on the slate. He will be going up agents Chicago who is ranked 29th in the NBA against opposing PF’s. Right away that tells me he should at least be able to put up a floor performance around 40 fantasy points. Chicago doesn’t have Wendall Carter Jr. or Laurie Markanen tonight. I’m expecting to see a big rebound and scoring numbers from Sabonis.

Nemanja Bjelica – DK: ($6,700)

Bjelica had a monstrous performance two nights ago against Minnesota where he racked up 20 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in 41 minutes of action. Tonight he has a tougher match-up against OKC, but Sacramento is still without Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley. This will allow for Bjelica to continue seeing an uptick in all his numbers. Look for him to have a floor of 30 fantasy points tonight.

Carmelo Anthony – DK: ($5,900)

I really like Melo in this spot tonight because it’s another revenge match-up against Houston. Clearly Melo can fade away in certain situations and games, but I do not think he is going to shy away from this match-up. The first time these two teams played this season, Melo racked up 36 fantasy points on DraftKings in 33 minutes of action. Look for him to have a floor of 28 fantasy points tonight.

Top C Picks:

Hassan Whiteside – DK: ($8,500)

Whiteside is the Center that I am most willing to pay up for tonight. You never really know where Whiteside’s production is going to come from. He can get you 20+ rebounds in a game — He can get you 6+ Blocks in a game — Lastly, he can score 30+ points in a game. However, it’s rare when he puts all of those three categories together on the same night. But even with that being said, he just put up 45.5 fantasy points against Houston back on January 15th. With Capella’s status still up in the air, I’m really liking Whiteside tonight.

Jakob Poeltl – DK: ($5,600)

Poeltl stepped up in a big way last game where he was able to put up 40.25 fantasy points on DraftKings in 36 minutes of action. I fully understand that this is not a typical outing from Poeltl. However, with Aldridge still sidelined, Poeltl will continue to see a large bump in his playing time. Tonight he has a very tough match-up against Rudy Gobert. But if he sees 20+ minutes, he very well could see a floor of 25-30 fantasy points.
