#1 TARGET: LUKA DONCIC (10,200)

Coming into this game, he has a massive usage rate (37%), averages 1.7 fantasy points per minute (FPPM), has an excellent rebound percentage (15.3%), and an astonishing assist rate (45.5%). Luka is matchup proof. When given the minutes, he can completely take over any NBA game. He has a smash matchup versus the atrocious 28th ranked NBA defense of the Atlanta Hawks. Doncic could potentially amass 70 to 75 Draftkings points tonight. He is an absolute must-have and a lock and load into the majority of my lineups.

#2 TARGET: GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO (11,200)

This is not the greatest matchup versus the well balanced NBA defense of the Philadelphia 76ers. Giannis is an elite performer and can succeed against any NBA defense. The best time to play Giannis is when he is going to be in a competitive game. This game should stay relatively close. If that’s the case, he will see 33 to 35 minutes. He is an absolute freak and matchup nightmare for anyone who is tasked with guarding him. On the season, he has averaged 1.9 FPPM, a high usage rate (37%), head-turning assist rate (33%), a very nice rebounding rate (21%), and has produced over 50 fantasy points in 13 straight games. Antetokounmpo is extremely hard to get away from and will be a core play for me tonight.

#3 TARGET: THADDEUS YOUNG (5,600)

Thad finally produced a big game last game in an NBA matchup versus the Charlotte Hornets. He played 36 minutes and had 48 Draftkings points. The Chicago Bulls are already competing without Carter Jr, Markkanen, and are going to be without Kornet tonight. Thad Young is one of the three relevant big men the Bulls have left and will have solidified minutes. The Phoenix Suns struggle versus bigs. Thad Should smash his price tag.

#4 TARGET: MIKE CONLEY (5,200)

Conley has been playing well as of late. He has been seeing consistent minutes, playing 30 plus minutes in four straight games. Last time Conley saw the Rockets, he produced 35 Draftkings points in 36 minutes. He is in a good, fast-paced NBA matchup. The Houston Rockets are number two in pace of play and can force opposing teams to run up and down the court, which will also create more opportunities for NBA teams in that matchup. Conley is a safe play with a 40 fantasy point upside.

#5 TARGET: MAXI KLEBER (3,900)

This is a back to back for the Dallas Mavericks. Porizinges has been resting on the second half of back to backs this season. With Porzinges potentially resting tonight, Maxi stands out as one of my favorite value options on today’s NBA DFS slate. Even with Zinger playing last night, Kleber produced 33 Draftkings points in 22 minutes. Maxi could easily see 30 minutes and could crush his value at his cheap price tag.

Honorable Mention:

Trae Young (10,600)

Deandre Ayton (8,700)

Bam Adebayo (8,600)

Spencer Dinwiddie (7,700)

Tobias Harris (6,700)

Josh Richardson (4,400)

Cam Reddish (4,100)

SLATE SUMMARY:

On today’s six-game NBA slate, I will be using the stars and scrubs approach by locking in Luka, Giannis, and I will use all of the great cheap value to fill in the rest. Good luck today, and don’t forget to come back and WIN DAILY

Here I will break down each position with my top NBA stud, middle tier, and value plays for this NBA DFS slate. I will be referring to DraftKings on pricing. Most picks are for GPP/Tournaments, some would also be viable for cash games.

We have a six-game NBA DFS slate on our hands tonight. It doesn’t appear to be an injury-filled slate for this time in what seems like forever. Obviously, that could change in a blink of an eye, so check out the Discord chat room with the WinDaily staff as we further breakdown our picks and injury news.

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook – Stud – ($10,200)

Westbrook has been excellent as of late, posting 50 fantasy points in 11 out of his last 12 games. In the last month, Westbrook has a usage rate of 39.8%. That’s 6% more than Harden in that same time frame. Golden State is surrendering the most points to points guards on this NBA slate. A blowout is a slight concern here, although Westbrooks minutes seem safe playing more than 30 minutes in 15 straight games.

Terry Rozier – Mid-tier – ($5,700)

In the two weeks without Kris Dunn, the Chicago Bulls have given up the most fantasy points to point guards in the NBA. The Bulls have several other injuries resulting in them allowing 255 fantasy points per game, also good for the most in the entire NBA over that time. He also sees a $600 price decrease coming back from the All-Star break.

Jordan Poole – Value – ($4,000)

Poole has benefited from the Warrior’s busy trade deadline. Since those trades, he was seen 30 minutes in two straight games, and over 20 minutes in four straight. With the increased playing time, he has jacked up double-digit shots in four straight games. A very friendly matchup with Houston who is the second-fastest team in the NBA.

Shooting Guard

Jimmy Butler – Stud – ($7,900)

First off Jimmy has seen the Hawks three times already this season, averaging 48.2 fantasy points in those games. Atlanta has given up the most fantasy points to Small Forwards this NBA season. Jimmy Butler isn’t listed at SF but let’s be honest is Trae Young or Kevin Huerter going to guard him? Regardless, Butler is in a great matchup, as the Hawks are the 7th fastest team and 3rd worst team in defensive rating this season.

Bogdan Bogdanovic – Mid-tier – ($4,900)

Bogdanovic has struggled as of late so this play is definitely for tournaments. He has a favorable matchup here against Memphis. Memphis holds the 5th fastest pace in the NBA, while also giving up the 3rd most fantasy points to shooting guards on the season. He seems to perform better at home, averaging four more fantasy points at home.

 Andre Iguodala – Value – ($3,300)

This NBA slate isn’t appearing to have much value but Iguodala could be a place to find it. Since joining Miami, he has reached 20 minutes in two of those three games. Obviously he has the same matchup benefits as Jimmy Butler does. I wouldn’t be surprised if he neared 25 fantasy points in this spot. Either way, I think he is cheap enough that he won’t kill a lineup.

  Small Forward

Andrew Wiggins – Stud – ($7,600)

In the three games with Golden State, Andrew Wiggins leads the team in minutes and usage percentage at nearly 25%. Houston, as mentioned before, is the 2nd fastest team in the NBA. Wiggins has also displayed some defense with Golden state accumulating 12 steals and blocks total over those three games.

Caris Levert – Mid-tier – ($6,700)

Finally, it seems Levert has no minutes restriction, as he has reached 30 minutes in four out of his last 5 games. Over the past month and with Kyrie Irving off the floor Levert has a usage percentage at 29.5%. Surprisingly Philadelphia has also given up the 4th most fantasy points in the NBA to Small Forwards over the past six games.

Shaq Harrison – Value – ($3,000)

This is strictly a boom or bust tournament play. Harrison could get a healthy chunk of minutes tonight as the Bulls will only have nine available players according to my count. At the minimum price, I think he gets the start with all of Chicago’s injuries at Small Forward, and not a terrible matchup against Charlotte the 5th worst defensive rated team in the NBA.

Power Forward

Christian Wood – Stud – ($6,900)

I’m not exactly comfortable with any of these higher-priced small forwards. Wood faces the fastest-paced team in the NBA the Milwaukee Bucks. He has also reached Over 30 minutes in five out of his last six games. You Have to be worried about a blowout in this spot, which is the reason Giannis wasn’t my stud. I think Milwaukee throttles Detroit, but Wood’s minutes are safer with the departure of Andre Drummond.

  Thaddeus Young – Mid-tier – ($5,400)

As I mentioned before Chicago has a giant list of injuries. Those injuries have allowed Young to receive 30 minutes in 6 straight games. With those players off the court, Young has played the most minutes out of any Bull, has nearly a 20% usage rate, and he scores 32.5 fantasy points per 36 minutes.

PJ Tucker – Value – ($4,000)

Tucker isn’t exactly the player with the most usage, he’s known as one of the hard-nosed players of the NBA. In six of the last eight games, Tucker has managed over 35 minutes. We have already seen this matchup twice this year and Tucker is averaging 32.6 fantasy points in those two matchups.

Center

Bam Adebayo – Stud – ($7,800)

In his last 7 games, Adebayo has scored over 40 fantasy points. Today he gets a great matchup against the Hawks who have allowed 60 fantasy points per game to opposing centers in the previous two weeks of the NBA season. In the three previous meetings with Atlanta, Adebayo has averaged 49.3 fantasy points. This is simply too cheap given the matchup.

Marquese Chriss – Mid-tier – ($6,200)

This Houston at Golden State matchup holds the highest Vegas total on the NBA Slate at 232. Chriss has two games of more than 40 fantasy points since Golden State made the deadline deals. He also owns a usage percentage of 23.3% and scoring 51.82 fantasy points per 36 minutes since the moves.

Harry Giles – Value – ($3,400)

Giles has scored at least 17 fantasy points in four straight games. Memphis plays with one of the bigger lineups we see in the NBA, starting both Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jonas Valanciunas. Sacramento is thin at Center with Richaun Holmes, Marvin Bagley, and recently acquired Alex Len all out. If Giles can stay out of foul trouble, he may be asked to handle significant minutes facing this bigger lineup.

I’m excited to be back on the NBA DFS grind after the break. Miami at Atlanta and Houston at Golden State are the two games I will be targeting players from the most. That Memphis at Sacramento game is going to be high and tight too, so don’t forget to get pieces of that game as well!  I like this six-game slate coming off the break to get back in the swing of things. Don’t forget to check out the Discord chat rooms, where we breakdown key news and further discuss our picks for the slate. Thank you for reading my article and Goodluck!

My NBA targets can be used in both cash games and GPP’s. The risky plays are to be used as GPP dart throws. I am using DraftKings salaries.

#1 TARGET: JOEL EMBIID (9,000)

On the season, he has a high usage rate (32%), averages around 1.5 fantasy points per minute (FPPM), has a high rebound percentage (21%), a great assist rate (19%), and is in a fantastic NBA matchup versus the Nets. Embiid is a nightmare to opposing defenses, especially versus a team that ranks in the bottom of the pack against big men in the NBA. Embiid should have his work cut out for him. There is no reason he can’t put up a 55 point fantasy performance. He is going to be a staple in my lineups.

#2 TARGET: JIMMY BUTLER (7,900)

On the year he has averaged 1.2 (FPPM), a 27% usage rate, 26% assist rate, and a rebound percentage of over 12. This season, in the three matchups versus the Hawks, Butler has averaged 48 Draftkings points. He has a smash matchup versus the terrible 28th ranked NBA defense of the Atlanta Hawks. He could easily hit upwards of 50 fantasy points.

#3 TARGET: DE’AARON FOX (7,400)

Averaging 1.21 (FPPM), 31.6 usage rate, and an insane assist percentage (32%). Fox is in a favorable spot versus the fast-paced NBA defense of the Memphis Grizzlies. In pace up spots, Fox has thrived all year. He has averaged 48 fantasy points in the two previous matchups versus the Grizzlies this season.

#4 TARGET: DEREK ROSE (5,900)

With Drummond and Jackson gone, Rose is going to see a huge boost. In 359 minutes without the duo on the floor, Rose has balled out and produced 1.4 (FPPM), a 33.6 usage rate, and a massive assist rate (53%). Today he is in another good NBA matchup and should see 32 to 34 minutes after a week to heal any prior injuries. In a huge pace up spot, Rose could have a ceiling game and potentially be a must-have in every lineup.

#5 TARGET: RUSSELL WESTBROOK (10,200)

In 12 out of his last 13 games, Westbrook has produced over 50 fantasy points. He is in a prime matchup versus the 24th ranked NBA defense of the Golden State Warriors. Sporting a 36% usage rate, 1.5 (FPPM), 37% assist rate, and a 13% rebound rate with Capela gone, Westbrook is in a great spot to continue his dominance.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo (7,800),

Spencer Dinwiddie (7,300),

Christian Wood (6,900),

Caris LeVert (6,700),

Nemanja Bejelica (5,900),

Jae Crowder (5,000)(GPP),

Dwayne Dedmon (4,800)(GPP).

SLATE SUMMARY:

On today’s six-game NBA slate, I will be jamming Embiid and Westbrook into at least half of my lineups. On the other half of my lineups, I will be using mid-range options to build a balanced lineup. Good luck today, and don’t forget to come back and WIN DAILY!

Isaiah’s Protocol for the NBA DFS slate is built around DraftKings pricing, but is good across the industry with some slight adjustments to salaries on the various sites.

We are looking at a large 11 game NBA DFS slate that is loaded with options to consider for your roster construction this evening. There are 2 NBA games tomorrow but tonight will be the last time that any of these teams play before the All-Star break. I highly advise all my readers to join the staff at WinDaily in our Discord chat rooms as we discuss some of the important news and break down some intriguing plays even further.

THE INJURIES

There are some key injuries to keep an eye on. Luka Doncic has been out with an injured ankle and is listed as questionable tonight. Dallas has stated that they’d like to see Luka take the floor before the break and he may play tonight. I’m not sure why they would do this but his stats are massive. This news certainly makes a difference to several players in that game and rosters on the NBA DFS slate in general. Serge Ibaka was out last game with an illness and may not play tonight. With Marc Gasol already ruled out, his status has some impact on a nice spot to target against the Nets suspect frontcourt. Aside from some of these teams playing on the second half of a back-to-back (B2B), I also want to keep an eye on Kevin Love. He’s been out with some Achilles soreness and is listed as questionable. Love’s status could free up some important minutes in a target game against the Hawks fast pace and weak defense.

THE STUDS

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10500) If we’re paying up anywhere, this is where to start. KAT has a 29.7% usage rate and scores 1.50 fantasy points (FP) per minute. Charlotte has been a favorite stomping ground for NBA bigs this season as they rank 24th in defense verse position (DVP). Towns dropped 82 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFPTS) in 27 minutes the last time these 2 teams met.

Trae Young ($10400) Trae carries an unheard of 37.2% usage rate and scores 1.44 FP/min. Cleveland is a terrible team defending opposing guards as they rank 30th in (DVA) ) which is a rank given to the opponent when facing this player’s archetype.

THE CORE

Julius Randle ($8600) Every time I looked at this NBA DFS slate, Randle has been one of the first players I’ve looked at. Julius has a 27.3% usage rate and scores 1.14 FP/min. He’s scored an AVERAGE of 56 DKFPTS vs. the Wizards in their previous 2 meetings. Washington is playing the second half of a B2B after squeaking out a win in a hard-fought game against the Bulls last night. The Wizards rank 25th in DVA, 30th in DVP and have a couple of frontcourt players facing minute restrictions that could be problematic.

Harrison Barnes ($5200) Barnes is going to be my secret weapon tonight. Barnes only has a 17.1% usage rate and scores .74 FP/min. He is looking to go into the break on fire though. Barnes consistently plays over 30 minutes a game and has averaged 37 DKFPTS over his last 2. There is some risk here but Harrison shoots around 12 times a game and has been hitting roughly 60% lately. Harrison has averaged 35 DKFPTS against Dallas in his previous 2 meetings as the Mavericks rank 27th in DVP. Barnes is projected to play 34 minutes and be under 1% owned on this NBA DFS slate. Can you say SLEEPER.

I’m going to leave it here as I simply don’t have time to write up the 50 or so players that I’m considering tonight. Feel free to catch up with some of the other pros and me in the WinDaily Discord chat rooms as we discuss our other options.

SITE DEPENDANT

I’ve noticed some large discrepancies in a couple of salaries between the 2 sites that I’d like to mention. Giannis Antetokounmpo has already been ruled out tonight following the birth of his baby. It’s no secret that this has been an NBA DFS slate gold mine all season. Eric Bledsoe, Kris Middleton, and in some cases Ersan Ilyasova all get serious boosts to their respective stats when the Greek Freak misses a game. DraftKings has priced these players up accordingly which is why I didn’t include them in the core section. They are certainly still in consideration but FanDuel has missed this bus. Middleton is priced at $7200, Bledsoe is at $6700, and Ily is a super cheap $4100. I highly advise you consider these guys for your FanDuel lineups.

The other player I wanted to note here is Cheick Diallo. Phoenix is seriously thin in their frontcourt and with Ayton missing the last game Diallo ended up playing almost 40 minutes in a tough matchup vs. the Lakers. He held his own in that one posting 25 DKFPTS. I can’t imagine what his stats would look like against Golden State. Once again, DraftKings managed to spike his salary to a respectable $5000 while FanDuel lists him at $3700. Take advantage of this situation if Ayton sits out of this NBA DFS slate.

THE VALUE

Dewayne Dedmon ($4700) Lots of minutes, great match up spot.

Juancho Hernangomez ($3900) Starting for a new team with very little competition at his position. Charlotte ranks 28th in DVA and Hernanogomez will get the minutes to exceed the value in this great spot.

There’s a lot to talk about on this huge NBA DFS slate. I highly encourage all readers to join myself, and the rest of the WinDaily team in the Discord chat rooms as we break down and discuss our favorite plays. Thank you for reading my content and feel free to leave a comment, or hit me up on Twitter @IsaiahsProtocol.

GOODLUCK AND HAVE FUN

#1 TARGET: TRAE YOUNG (10,400)

On the season, he has a high usage rate (30%), averages around 1.5 fantasy points per minute (FPPM), and his team can push the pace of just about any team in the NBA. Last time versus Cleveland, he had 63 fantasy points while playing 36 minutes. Cleveland’s 29th ranked NBA defense has struggled slowing down guards all season long. Trae is in a great spot to have another 60 point fantasy performance.

#2 TARGET: ANDRE DRUMMOND (9,400)

In his debut for Cleveland, Drummond put up a great stat line, 19 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, one block, two steals, producing 47.5 fantasy points, playing only 29 minutes due to a blowout. He has a smash matchup versus the very bad rebounding 28th ranked NBA defense of the Atlanta Hawks. He could easily hit upwards of 55 fantasy points.

#3 TARGET: JULIUS RANDLE (8,600)

Big men versus the awful fast-paced NBA defense of the Wizards, has been one of my favorite targets all year. Randle has an insane upside. In his last two games versus Washington, he has averaged 55 fantasy points. There is no reason he can’t do it again.

#4 TARGET: ISH SMITH (4,800)

With Thomas and McRae being traded away, Ish has been in the starting lineup. He played 28 minutes yesterday and put up 35 fantasy points versus the Bulls. Today he is in another good NBA matchup and should see another 28 to 30 minutes.

#5 TARGET: Jonas Valanciunas (7,300)

Valanciunas could see 30 to 32 minutes. In four straight games, he has played 28 minutes or more and has been more productive. Memphis is going to have no choice but to play big to match up with Whiteside. He is in a great matchup versus Portland, who are 11th in pace and has the 26th ranked defense in the NBA this season.

Honorable Mention:

Karl-Anthony Towns (10,500),

Khris Middleton (8,800),

Bam Adebayo (8,200),

Eric Bledsoe (7,700),

Christian Wood (7,100),

Jaren Jackson Jr (6,400)(GPP),

Rui Hachimura (5,100).

SLATE SUMMARY:

On today’s eleven-game NBA slate there is not a lot of value to be used to build a stars and scrubs lineup. I will be forcing Trae Young into at least half of my lineups and using players in between the 4k to 6k range to fill in the rest. On the other half of my lineups, I will be using mid-range options to build a balanced lineup. Good luck today, and don’t forget to come back and WIN DAILY!
