DFS Hitting Stacks for 5/10: Start your Night with a Twin Pack

Friday is finally here and we get a beautiful 14 game slate. Bunch of terrible gas cans to target, so let’s dig right in.

1A.) Minnesota Twins;

The Twins are in a smash spot here as Tyson Ross is projected to come into town to try and slow down this white hot offense. So far on the season Ross holds a 5.63 ERA with a .267 batting average against on the road. The hard hit percentages are alarming, as he is giving up 40.8% and it’s about even to both handedness. The usual suspects are in play here. My favorite bats are going to have to be Jorge Polanco, Eddie Rosario, Max Kepler, C.J. Cron and Marwin Gonzalez. I love a full five man stack here as I don’t think Ross makes it past the fifth inning.

1B.) Colorado Rockies;

Honestly you can’t go wrong with either of these two stacks and I cannot put one before the other. We get Eric Lauer heading to Coors. This is a complete nightmare for left handed pitchers. On the road so far this season Lauer is holding a 5.40 ERA while giving up a 46.5 hard hit percentage. This does not bode well for him at all. If you’re new to the lefties heading into Coors it’s because of a duo of sluggers named Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story. Together they have absolutely dominated left handed pitching in Coors. So far this season, Arenado has a .438 average against lefties at Coors with 46.7 hard hit percentage. Trevor Story, in his short career, has a .313 average against lefties in Coors with a 51.9 hard hit percentage. I will be all over them and getting as much exposure as I can. I won’t leave out Mark Reynolds, Ian Desmond or Charlie Blackmon in my stacks either.

2.) Boston Red Sox;

Lately this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but every day is a new day. The Red Sox get Erik Swanson coming into town with a 3.95 ERA and his massive 51.2% fly ball rate on the road. So far in his young career, even though it is a really small sample size, he is a reverse splits type pitcher. I want all the righties we can fit in this one. Give me Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Michael Chavis for the righties. I don’t mind making this a full stack and taking Rafael Devers and Andrew Benintendi either. This is a game I LOVE and won’t be scared off the Sox because of their last game.

3.) Los Angeles Dodgers;

Anibal Sanchez comes to Dodger Stadium tonight and not only is he a gas can, but the Dodgers are most likely going to be way underowned. On the road so far this season Sanchez holds a 5.23 ERA with a massive 43.5% fly ball rate accompanied by a 31.3% hard hit rate. There’s no way you can’t love the Dodgers right? I want all the power lefties here. Give me Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy, Corey Seager and Joc Pederson. Let me say I hate playing Pederson because they always pinch hit for him, but in a spot like this I can’t deny the chance for a leadoff bomb for Joc. I also LOVE Justin Turner here, because he is getting insanely hot right now and I don’t want to be left out.
