Synopsis:
The last half of the home round of the final UCL qualifying round features three solid games. Of the three games on the slate, the one that has the best DFS environment is Maccabi Haifa hosting Young Boys. The host Maccabi Haifa has played 8 official games scoring 21 goals (2.6/game) and has allowed 6 goals (.75/game). On the other side, the visiting Young Boys have only played four games but have scored 10 goals (2.5/game) and have allowed 6 (1.5/game). The two sides sit 2nd and 3rd in goal scoring of the 6 teams on the slate only behind Braga (3/game). Although Maccabi’s defensive stats look good, they haven’t played against a team stronger than Young Boys. As you will see in my Best Bets section, I really like this game environment.
The other two games are likely to have goals as well but I don’t see either of the two being as back and forth as the one mentioned above.
The Goalie situation on this slate is rather tough. I am fading both goalies in the game mentioned at the start of the synopsis. Matheus from Braga has the best shot at keeping a clean sheet while seeing some shots. The only other two I would consider are the two in the Gal/Molde game because that can easily end 1-1 with each keeper having 3+ saves. But they are in the pivot section because of the risks both attacking sides possess.
