Recommendation: I don’t recommend taking the Lion’s Boost for today. First score bets are always a toss up, and there isn’t much research or trends that follow the success of these bets, so for that I wouldn’t recommend taking it.

FanDuel Sportsbook is offering only one boosted bet for today, which is for the NBA Playoffs. The odds boost is for Reggie Jackson (+3.5) Combined Pts + Reb + Ast v Chris Paul boosted from -105 to +120.

Recommendation: I do not recommend taking this odds boost, as Reggie Jackson is primarily a scorer, not totaling many assists or rebounds. Chris Paul is one of the best passers ever and he can rack up the assists easily, also being able to score efficiently.

The Yankees have Domingo German (4-4 4.17 ERA) and the Red Sox have Martin Perez (5-4 4.32 ERA) on the bump. This game will simply come down to who can hit better, because both teams will be smacking the ball of these pitchers.

Recommendation: I recommend putting a small wager on Chris Paul to record a double-double. He has been out the last 2 games for Phoenix, but before that, he recorded a double-double in 2 out of 4 games in the series against the Nuggets, so it’s not a long shot that he can do it again tonight. He was reported to having no COVID-19 symptoms, so he should have no minute restrictions either.

FanDuel Sportsbook is only offering one boosted bet for today, which is for the MLB. The odds boost is a parlay, which is for Both Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins to Win boosted from +120 to +150 (Max Bet – $50).

Recommendation: I do recommend taking this boosted bet. The Astros are at the top of their division playing against one of the worst teams in the MLB, and a pitcher whose record is 2-7 and has a 5.79 ERA. The Astros should make easy work of this pitcher. Their pitcher, Luis Garcia has had a solid season thus far, owning a 5-4 record and a 2.82 ERA. The Twins are taking on the Indians, who are technically the better team, but it’s the pitching matchup that gives the Twins the edge. Twins ace, Jose Berrios has been great this year for Minnesota, having a 7-2 record along with a 3.56 ERA. The Indians have Jean-Carlos Mejia taking the mound, who has been off to a rough start. Mejia is only 1-2 and has a very mediocre 6.11 ERA on the season.

BetMGM is offering another NBA odds boost today, also being the only boost they’re offering. The “Lion’s Boost” is Giannis Antetokounmpo to score 20+ points in the 1st half in tonight’s Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals boosted from +220 to +270

Recommendation: I do not recommend taking the Lion’s Boost from BetMGM today. Although I do believe Giannis is capable of scoring 20 points in the 1st half, He did not do so one time in their last series against the Nets, who are ranked 24th in defensive rating. However, he did come close scoring 19 and 17 in the 1st half, but I don’t think he gets it done tonight, as he is not a good free throw or 3pt shooter, meaning he has to get most of his points by way of 2pt field goals.

FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel is only offering two boosted bets for today. The odds boost that is being offered is

EURO 2020: Portugal to Win v France ($50 Max Bet) boosted from +270 to +320

NBA: Giannis Antetokounmpo (-10.5) Comnined PTS + REB + AST v Trae Young boosted from -110 to +120

Recommendation: I don’t recommend taking either of these boosted bets. France is the way better team, sitting at the top of the standings in their group after they defeated Germany 1-0. Portugal was at Germany’s mercy, as they lost 4-2 last game. France downed a team that blew out Portugal, so it’s safe to say they will handle Portugal fairly well. If the line was lower for Giannis, I would think about taking this bet, but 10.5 is too much. Trae Young is coming off of his worst playoff performance yet, shooting 5-23, and still managed to have a combined 34 Total P+R+A. Trae is an assist machine and is able to go off for 30+ PTS at any moment. Although I do believe Giannis will total more, I don’t think it will be by more than 10.5.

DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings Sportsbook is offering boosted bets in the NBA, EURO 2020, and NHL for today.

NBA: Giannis Antetokuonmpo to record 34+ points boosted from -101 to +110

Kevin Huerter to make 3+ threes boosted from +135 to +155

EURO 2020: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals and France to win vs Portugal boosted from +390 to +500

NHL: Brayden Point to score a goal and Lightning to win boosted from +200 to +230

Recommendation: I recommend taking the NBA and NHL boosted bets. Giannis is one of the most dominant players in the NBA right now, and he is facing a sub-par Hawks defense. The Greek Freak has scored 34+in 3 out of the last 4 games. I don’t believe for a second that anyone on the Hawks is going to be able to stop him, I wouldn’t be surprised if he dropped 40. The Lightning are coming off of a blowout win against the Islanders last game, as they steamrolled them 8-0. The Lightning are for sure favorites to win the series, and they are led by their top goals scorer, Brayden Point. Point has scored in every game this series against the Islanders, and at this point, you might as well ride the hot streak. The+230 odds are pretty decent, so I would advise going small on this wager.

Giannis and John Collins are both extremely good rebounders, and have both had 15+ rebound games last series, so it is certainly a possibility they can do it tonight. I love the odds at +1000, but since they are so high, I’d recommend a smaller wager on this bet. Neymar has scored in both games so far in Copa America. Columbia has only let up 2 goals in 2 games so far, but if anyone can run it up, it’s Brazil, who is led by Neymar.

PointsBet is offering only two boosted bets tonight, in NBA and NHL.

NBA: Giannis Antetokuonmpo to Score 30+ Points and Bucks to Win boosted from -110 to +110

NHL: Brayden Point to Score a Goal and Lightning to Win boosted from +180 to +200

Recommendation: As both of these boosts are virtually the same offered on DraftKings, I would again recommend both of these boosted bets. The Bucks are favorited to win against the Hawks tonight and should have no problem winning. Giannis has score 30+ in almost every single game in the last series against the Nets and will be expected to do the same in this series. As stated before, the Lightning are also favored to win tonight’s game and the series in general. Point has scored a goal in every game this series and it’s worth it to at least throw a small wager, riding the hot hand.
