This is just one of those weeks. We were looking at a potential 4-0 night that went 2-2. The Clippers game was close most of the game. It could have gone either way and unfortunately it didn’t go ours. The Nets game however was one of the worst beats of the year. Again not the day we had in mind. So far shit week. I will reiterate a couple things. We have had bigger losing days than this entire week, and we were up 100 units coming into the week. These runs happen and if you are expecting them not to, you are in the wrong business. None the less it sucks and I’m looking to turn it around. The Blazers have actually accounted for the vast amount of the loss. I have to re evaluate how they continue to come out for me. Something as simple as one team not playing to expected form can drastically effect what’s occurring. Sports betting has the thinest of margins. We can easily rebound this week and tonight is hopefully the start of that.

TNF Note. I have gone through this game repeatedly. The Browns are coming up as the better play. However it’s the Browns. Mayfield is absolutely awful and they are as big of a disaster as there is in the NFL. I can’t bet them with how they are right now. This may be a perfect time to grab a live line. I’m going to watch intently and see how it goes. Depending on how it plays we could go either way. There are a few things I’m going to look for and determine if something is worth playing. Horrible start to the week. The beat on the Pistons was pathetic yesterday. They played the worst first half possible, came back as they should and lost by a half point. Well yesterday despite being a winning day was very frustrating. TCU, and Northwestern were amongst the hardest to take. Sometimes that’s how it goes, especially in a smaller sample size like a day or a week. Take those 2 games and the Blazers on Thursday, had they all won it would turn what is a break even week so far into an over 15 unit one. These are by far not the only letdowns, but it shows how a couple games can drastically change everything. However, if we continue to put ourselves in those spots they will fall our way far more often and the big weeks will come. This has been evident throughout the year with how well we have done. The margin can be razor thin sometimes and variance can be a bitch. With all that said, we still won yesterday and we have a chance to put pile up some units today.

Yesterday we turned a solid profit. Nothing huge but a good win putting the week into the plus. It should have been a huge 9 unit day but the swing from the Blazers game was horrible. That was an extremely tough loss to take. Tonight’s slate is actually not my favorite. Across the board I don’t have a lot to go on. However there are a couple plays for now.
