NBA DFS 2/6 — PG

Coby White, CHI (vs. NO) – DK $3,800

We’ve got alot of higher-priced guys in the Fearless Five this week, so I’m starting offwith a value play who’s been known to have massive upside when the opportunity presentsitself. Kris Dunn is out (sprained MCL) for tonight’s tilt with New Orleans andTomas Satoransky is playing with an ankle injury, so we could see biggerminutes (25+) from White in a plus matchup at home. If you can afford LonzoBall, he’s a solid play at $6,900, and we could always pivot to Bryn Forbes – aSpurs guard who benefits from an excellent matchup with the Blazers.

Pivot/Stack: Bryn Forbes/Lonzo Ball

NBA DFS 2/6 — SG

Zach Lavine, CHI (vs. NO) – DK $8,400

There aren’t too many healthy scorers available for the Bulls, andLavine is the kind of guy who could go for 40+ real-life points and 60+ DKpoints in a matchup like this. Spending down to C.J. McCollum make sense if you’relooking to attack the Spurs, and it makes sense to get some exposure to Josh Hartin NO-CHI game stacks. James Harden is $12,400 on DK, and while he’s always athreat to go off, the matchup is a tougher one, so I’ll be fading him save fora few wild lineups and HOU-LAL game stacks in multi-entry.

Pivot/Stack: C.J. McCollum/Josh Hart

NBA DFS 2/6 — SF

LeBron James, LAL (vs. HOU) – DK $10,400

If you can afford LBJ tonight,he could be worth it – considering the Rockets yield decent fantasy points todistributors and versatile forwards. Anthony Davis is currently probable (andjust $9,700) with his typical shoulder soreness, and this may be a rareopportunity where you could roster both. Still – keep any eye on the injurynews leading up to lock and strongly consider King James regardless of AD’sstatus. If for some reason AD can’t go or is limited, then we can play both Jamesand Kyle Kuzma.

Pivot/Stack: Aaron Gordon/Kyle Kuzma

NBA DFS 2/6 — PF

Zion Williamson, NO (@ CHI) – DK $7,700

The price on Zion has risen, but this is by far the best spot he’s had in his young pro career to dominatefrom a DFS perspective. The Bulls are going to have massive problems containingthe rookie, who is nursing a minor toe injury that shouldn’t keep him fromregistering a double-double and filling up the stat sheet. Julius Randle shouldbe considered a high-upside, low-owned GPPs option as well in this price range andstacking the NO-CHI game provides an opportunity to roster Thaddeus Young – who’sin a great spot with so many Bulls PFs injured.

Pivot/Stack: Julius Randle/Thaddeus Young

NBA DFS 2/6 — C

Brook Lopez, MIL (vs. PHI) – DK $5,200

Lopez has been postingdecent numbers lately despite a horrible shooting percentage (1-for-15 from 3PTrange in his last three games), and if he gets 30 minutes and can knock down acouple of bombs, he’s a solid bet to make 7x value in a game where the Sixersare going to do everything they can to stop Giannis. It’s a tough matchup onpaper, which is why I love him for GPPs where he could see low ownership. LMA(eligible at PF/C/F/UTIL) vs. his old team the Blazers makes for an interestingpivot given his cheap price and putrid output against the Lakers Tuesday night.

Pivot/Stack: LaMarcus Aldridge/Joel Embiid

NBA DFS 1/31— PG

JalenBrunson, DAL (@ HOU) – DK $3,800

Brunson is alock-and-load in all formats with Luka Doncic (out Friday, ankle) not travelingwith the team and possibly out for multiple games. There’s still reason to becautious, because we just don’t have a lot of data with Luka off the court thisseason – just a couple of games in December. In that small sample, we sawincreased usage for both Brunson and Kristaps Porzingis – two players I’ll be focusingon in GPPs.

Pivot/Stack:J.J. Barea/Russell Westbrook

NBA DFS 1/31— SG

Jrue Holiday,NO (vs. MEM) – DK $8,100

He’s flourishingwith Zion Williamson in the lineup as he did when Anthony Davis was with thePelicans, and this is a dream matchup for this hardworking combo guard. Therewill be plenty of chances at both ends for Holiday to contribute and haveanother huge game where he registers 7x or more value. You could start off alineup with Brunson and either Westbrook or Jams Harden, add in Holiday, andstill have over $5,500 per on DK to fill out your Forwards, center and utilityspots.

Pivot/Stack:James Harden/Dillon Brooks

NBA DFS 1/31— SF

Trevor Ariza,POR (@ LAL) – DK $5,000

The price hascome up on Ariza, but with Carmelo Anthony already ruled out, there’s still aclear path to 7x or more with Ariza playing against his old team in the StaplesCenter. The Lakers would be remiss not to focus their defensive efforts onstopping Damian Lillard, so expect a few more shots for the veteran defender anda busy day on both ends. Plenty of DFS folks will scoff at the new prices andlook elsewhere, and I’ll be fearlessly investing in another 35+ DK points at anaffordable price. There’s even a way to get the aforementioned players withboth Ariza and LBJ and still have $4K per if you want to take a crack at some stars/scrubsbuilds in multi-entry GPP.

Pivot/Stack:Will Barton/LeBron James

NBA DFS 1/31— PF

Brandon Clarke, MEM (@ NO) – DK $4,800

With Jaren Jackson Jr. suspended for a game following the fracas in the Garden on Wednesday night, we could see Clarke (also center eligible) getting the start against Zion and the Pels – making him a top-notch tournament play given his immense upside and point-per-minute fantasy efficiency. This is a game we’re going to need exposure to, and Clarke fits our GPP builds if he’s in the starting five and getting over 25-30 minutes. If you need even more value, Giannis Antetokounmpo is out again.

**UPDATE: With Brandon Clarke now listed doubtful to play on Friday, we can pivot to more Jonas Valanciunas and Jae Crowder. And since Clint Capela is not going tonight for Houston, we can use a lot more Isaiah Hartenstein, who is minimum salary on DK at just $3,000 and will be matched up with Porzingis.

Pivot/Stack: Eryan Ilyasova (if starting and Giannis out)/Zion Williamson

NBA DFS 1/31 — C

HassanWhiteside, POR (@ LAL) – DK $8,400

We’ve discussed plenty of high-priced guys in the Fearless Five so far, but if you want to roster a guaranteed low-owned, huge-upside center and find some value elsewhere, I think tonight could be the night for Whiteside to shine. The matchup is a terrible one on paper, but we could a few more minutes – and points, blocks, and rebounds – from the Blazers center in a tough matchup against the Lakers and their big frontcourt. The red number matchup is guaranteed to scare off the cautious DFS masses, and this is one of those nights where 55+ DK points are definitely in play.

Value Pivot: Jonas Valanciunas

In this column, I’ll highlight five NBA DFS 1/25 plays that could be the difference in GPPs and help you win the big money!

These are riskyNBA DFS 1/25 plays who won’t always make the most sense for cash game builds,so buyer beware!

Tired of losing money on your NBA DFS and Sportsbook? Sign up today and become awinner while turning your passion for sports into a second stream of income!

NBA DFS 1/25— PG

Kyrie Irving,BKN (@ DET) – DK $8,700

Irving has 60+ DKpoints upside in this uptempo matchup with the Pistons, and he’s still pricedunder $9K. He should fare well despite struggling the past couple games withhis shot. He’s a classic risk-reward GPP play and lineup fodder for the fearless!Pairing him with Derrisk Rose or the value-laden Reggie Jackson could be a goodway to build.

Pivot/Stack:Derrick Rose/Reggie Jackson

NBA DFS 1/25— SG

Zach Lavine,CHI (@ CLE) – DK $9,200

He’s sporting threestraight games shy of 40 DK points, but he has 65-70 point upside, especiallygiven this matchup. Trust his talent and let the rest of the field fret abouthim making value. We’re looking for a huge game, so while the masses arefinding cheaper options and hoping for 5x, we’re throwing caution to the windand looking for 7x.

Pivot/Stack:Caris LeVert

NBA DFS 1/25— SF

Ben Simmons,PHI (vs. LAL) – DK $9,400

He’s going to beactive in this battle against the Lakers, and I just don’t see a way he doesn’tplay 40 minutes – so I’m willing to assume some risk here and roll him out atSF on DK, where he could see lower ownership than LeBron James – his closestanalog on today’s slate. It’s a tough matchup but he’s the only Sixer with 60+upside.

Pivot/Stack:LeBron James

NBA DFS 1/25— PF

TaureanPrince, BKN (@ DET) – DK $5,100

We may need tokeep an eye on the injury report as the game nears to see what both the Brooklynand Detroit frontcourts are going to look like, but right now Prince isharboring some massive value if he gets minutes and some key players sit or arelimited. He’s a proven defender and when hi scoring gets going, he has 8x to 10xupside. A good pairing with Kyrie Irving.

Pivot/Stack:Thaddeus Young/Luke Kornet

NBA DFS 1/25— C

ChristianWood, DET (vs. BKN) – DK $4,700

This hinges on AndreDrummond sitting, but Wood could see a lot of usage tonight in the matchup againstthe Nets. He’s a near-lock for a double-double and has massive 45-50 point upsideat a very affordable price. He could get chalky, but if we differentiateourselves in some of these other spots, we should keep a top finish in view.

Pivot/Stack: Jarrett Allen (don’t play with Prince)

The NBA DFS Sunday Night Positional Breakdown has four games to work with, so if your Fantasy football luck fell through, then this slate offers the chance to close out the weekend with a shot at the long green.

IMPORTANT: NBA DFS is completely different than any other sport. Players get ruled out five minutes before games and you HAVE TO BE READY to pivot. I will update this article as close to lineup lock as possible with any big news, but play it safe and stay on top of the news yourself.

I refer to FanDuel pricing today.

12/15 NBA DFS Point Guard

  1. Ben Simmons ($8600) Hit 50-plus FDP for the second time this month on Friday, scoring 58.4 against the defensive-challenged Pelicans. The Nets are 25th in Fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards, setting Simmons up for another monster outing.
  2. Trae Young ($9600) Scored 43.1 FDP in his first meeting against the Lakers on November 17. High usage rate should at least keep Young near his 44.57 FDP average.
  3. Spencer Dinwiddie ($7700) He’s scored at least 35 FDP in 14 straight games, including seven games of better than 40 FDP. Nets are 10th in pace, so Dinwiddie will get his share of touches against the Sixers.
  4. Jamal Murray ($6800) Looks to be past the injury that took him out early against the 76ers on Tuesday. Facing a Knicks team ranked 29th in Fantasy points versus opposing PGs makes him a good pivot from Simmons and Young.

12/15 NBA DFS Shooting Guard

  1. Buddy Hield ($7800) Buddy Buckets has dialed it up, scoring a combined 91.3 FDP in his last two games. He’s not an anchor, but Hield is a solid play against the Warriors’ 26th rated defense.
  2. D’Angelo Russell ($8400) There’s not a lot of viable options at the position. Russell is the safest play on a Warriors team sorely lacking in NBA DFS options.
  3. Gary Harris ($4800) The Nuggets could sit Murray for load management reasons. If so, I’d give Harris a strong recommendation.
  4. RJ Barrett ($6000) He’s a roll of the dice. Both the Knicks and Nuggets are in the bottom five in pace, so I can’t feel too good about him establishing a high usage rate.

12/15 NBA Small Forward

  1. LeBron James ($10,900) Proceed with some caution as James is dealing with a sore elbow. Be ready to pivot if the Lakers choose to sit him down for the first time this season.
  2. Tobias Harris ($8200) Here’s your pivot if James is out. Harris has five games of at least 40 FDP this month, and the money saved from not playing James will add some flexibility to your roster.
  3. Will Barton ($6600) This has been a good week for Barton, highlighted by a 54.9 FDP against the 76ers.
  4. Alec Burks ($6200) Like Barton, Burks has put together a good run recently, recording three straight games of at least 30 FDP.

12/15 NBA DFS Power Forward

  1. Anthony Davis ($11,300) Anchor Don’t worry about the GTD next to his name. Davis will play and eclipse 50-plus FDP for the 12th time in his last 15 games.
  2. Jarrett Allen ($7100) Somewhat under the radar, Allen has 10 double-doubles in his past 13 games while also yanking at least 10 boards 11 times in that span.
  3. Julius Randle ($6900) Looking like his early season self, Randle has back-to-back 40 FDP outings for the first time this campaign.
  4. Marquese Chriss ($4500) Good punt play here, as Chriss comes off a season-best 43.1 FDP in Friday’s loss to the the Jazz. The talent has always been there, but it’s seems the light has finally come on for Chriss.

12/8 NBA DFS Center

  1. Joel Embiid ($10,700) Anchor Will likely be without Al Horford again, so don’t be surprised if Embiid spends much of the night on the free throw line.
  2. Nikola Jokic ($9800) Dropped 62.8 FDP on the Thunder Saturday night, a strong sign that Jokic is finally shaken off his early season malaise.
  3. Mitchell Robinson ($6800) The Nuggets are a surprising 28th in Fantasy points allowed to opposing centers. Even in his current role as a reserve, Robinson should put up good numbers, especially if the game is a Denver blowout.
  4. Dwight Howard ($4200) Another low-end play. He is playing in front of family and friends in Atlanta, so perhaps a vintage D12 is in the offing.

There’s three games for the NBA DFS Sunday Night Position Breakdown to work with, so while the pickings might be slim, someone’s gotta produce points. Let’s point out the best plays to close out the weekend.

12/8 NBA DFS Point Guard

  1. Luka Doncic ($11,700) Anchor Has a chance to become the first player in NBA history to record 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in 19 straight games. He’s currently tied with some cat named Jordan.
  2. Damian Lillard ($9400) Loss of Rodney Hood only means more shots for Lillard, who also has at least eight assists in six of his last eight games.
  3. Chris Paul ($7300) Coming off a vintage CP3 performance on Friday, Paul gets a Trail Blazers defense ranked 29th in Fantasy points allowed to opposing PGs.
  4. Quin Cook ($3500) Rajon Rondo (hammy) will be a GTD. If he does sit, Cook could be an interesting punt play.

12/8 NBA DFS Shooting Guard

  1. Buddy Hield ($8000) Buddy Buckets has seen his price rise in a run that’s seen him score at least 20 points in six straight games. Not a lot of great options here, but Hield is the strongest play.
  2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($6800) Scored a season-high 29 points on Friday and looks to be back in form after a late November skid.
  3. Andrew Wiggins ($8000) Will have a clear indication if he returns after missing Friday with a thumb injury, but facing the Lakers’ defense translates into money not well-spent.
  4. CJ McCollum ($7300) Comes into tonight’s tilt vs. OKC with at least 20 points in 10 of his last 12. Thunder is 23rd in points allowed to SGs, so I might be putting McCollum lower than he should be.

12/8 NBA DFS Small Forward

  1. LeBron James ($10,800) Anchor If you don’t anchor with Doncic, go with James, who has 14 straight games of at least 40 FDP and gets a Timberwolves D that is dead last in FP allowed to small forwards.
  2. Danilo Gallinari ($6900) His value has climbed of late due to a surprising run of rebounding. Good Plan B if going with Doncic instead of James.
  3. Harrison Barnes ($6300) My only concern with Barnes is that Marvin Bagley III could make his return to the lineup tonight. If so, pivot to…
  4. Carmelo Anthony ($5800) The options beyond Anthony are thin, so I’d suggest looking at James or Gallinari if you want consistency from the SF position tonight.

12/8 NBA DFS Power Forward

  1. Anthony Davis ($10,800) Anchor He’ll play with the shoulder injury and still rack up 50+ FDP.
  2. Richaun Holmes ($7400) Quietly been downright filthy with games of 42 and 52.3 FDP this week. If Marvin Bagley III is out, I’d strongly consider pivoting to Holmes.
  3. Kristaps Porzingis ($7800) Averaging just 23 minutes over his last four games. He’s due for a breakout.
  4. Robert Covington ($5800) Still like his upside, especially if Anthony Davis is draped on Karl-Anthony Towns.

12/8 NBA DFS Center

  1. Karl-Anthony Towns ($11,000) Knee issues won’t keep KAT from hitting the court tonight. He’s a safe play.
  2. Hassan Whiteside ($8200) Had 21 points and 16 points in just 22 minutes the last time he faced the Thunder on November 27. Imagine what he could do to them with 30-35 minutes tonight.
  3. Steven Adams ($7200) Blistering hot over his past four games and makes for a good pivot if Towns and Whiteside are too expensive for your lineup.
  4. Dwight Howard ($4700) Yes, he comes off the bench, but his blocked shots potential makes him a better play than starter JaVale McGee.

Over/Under Scoring

Damian Lillard: Third in the league in scoring, Lillard is averaging 30 points per game on 48% shooting from the field.

Kyrie Irving: He sits right about Lillard, averaging 31.7 points per game, second only to Houston’s James Harden, who is averaging 36.5 points per game.

Verdict: Lillard goes under, finishing with around 20-22 points. Irving could clear the over by halftime, as he remains the only reliable scoring option the Nets have.

Brooklyn at Memphis, 6:00 PM Eastern

Nets PG Kyrie Irving ($10,300 FanDuel/$9,300 DraftKings) is the top choice in the Brooklyn lineup. He’s averaging 58.5 DKP in his first two games and will have the chance to take Grizzlies rookie PG Ja Morant ($6,700 FD/$6,700 DK) to school. The points will be there, but it will come down to how many dimes he can produce. SF Taurean Prince ($5,800 FD/$5,700 DK) had a disappointing outing against the Knicks on Friday, but there’s enough to his game to warrant a second chance. PF/C Jarrett Allen ($6,600 FD/$5,600 DK) continues to get the lion’s share of minutes over C De’Andre Jordan ($4,600 FD/$4,400 DK). Keep SG/SF Caris LaVert ($6,400 FD/$6,800 DK) in mind.

Speaking of Morant, play at your risk. The upside has been shown but he’s also looked like a PG with only two NBA games under his belt. PF Jaren Jackson ($7,300 FD/$6,500 DK) is averaging 34.5 DKP in his first two games and will be the focal point of the offense so long as he avoids foul trouble. PF Brandon Clarke ($5,500 FD/$3,900 DK) is a game time decision. I’d like him much, much more if he were a sure thing.

Portland at Dallas, 7:00 PM Eastern

PG Damian Lillard ($9,900 FD/$9,100 DK) averages 52.9 DKP thus far and would be a nice stack with backcourt mate PG/SG C.J. McCollum ($6,500 FD/$6,600 DK), who is due for a breakout after starting with a lackluster 24.1 DKP in his first two outings. I’d be all-in on C Hassan Whiteside ($8,300 FD/$7,400 DK), who’s averaging 19 points and 14 boards.

PG/SG Luka Doncic ($10,100 FD/$9,500 DK) is averaging 52.15 FDP. He’s a must-add with the way he’s started. PF/C Kristaps Porzingis ($8,400 FD/$8,200 DK) comes off a 43.5 DKP performance in Friday’s win over the Pelicans. The five blocked shots were a surprise. PG/SG Delon Wright ($5,800 FD/$5,500 DK) comes off a 47.9 FDP outing on Friday. No Dwight Powell ($5,200 FD/$5,400 DK) again, but his return his coming sooner than later.

Miami at Minnesota, 7:00 PM Eastern

SF Justice Winslow ($7,000 FD/$7,200 DK, also listed as PG) has been the best option in the Heat lineup, averaging 42.5 FDP. The versatility makes him a stronger play at DraftKings. PG Goran Dragic ($5,900 FD/$5,400 DK) had 46.5 DKP off the bench on Friday and should get at least 28-30 minutes tonight. The preseason expectations on PF/C Bam Adebayo ($7,100 FD/$7,000 DK) have been realized thus far. I’m not sure how long PG/SG Kendrick Nunn ($4,900 FD/$5,300 DK) can continue his opening run, but it’s worth the play against the Timberwolves defense.

PF/C Karl-Anthony Towns ($12,200 FD/$10,100 DK) is the most potent NBA DFS weapon on the schedule. Don’t bank on his averaging 77.65 FDP, but 60-65 is right about in his range. Towns is worth the money tonight. The problem with the Timberwolves is that there’s not much NBA DFS value on the roster beyond Towns right now. PG Jeff Teague ($6,000 FD/$5,300 DK) and SF/PF Robert Covington ($5,700 FD/$5,700 DK) are both under expectations and SG/SF Andrew Wiggins ($6,700 FD/$6,300 DK) is just scoring and little else.

Charlotte at LA Lakers, 9:30 PM Eastern

The Hornets have a pair of possible value plays in PF P.J. Washington ($6,000 FD/$6,200 DK) and PG Devonte’ Graham ($5,700 FD/$4.600 DK). Both are averaging over 30 FP in both formats and can slide into any NBA DFS lineup. SG Dwayne Bacon ($5,400 FD/$5,800 DK) is a value play worth considering but not on the same plan as I have Washington and Graham. This doesn’t shape to be a good matchup for PF/C Cody Zeller ($6,600 FD/$5,300 DK).

Obviously, it’s all about Anthony Davis ($11,500 FD/$10,400 DK) and LeBron James ($11,300 FD/$9,900 DK) when it comes to the Lakers in 10/27 NBA DFS. You could pair those two with Washington and Graham and make the foundation of an intriguing lineup. SF/PF Kyle Kuzma ($6,200 FD/$6,000 DK) is questionable.

Over/Under Fantasy Points

Kristaps Porzingis — He’s showing few signs of rust in his first two games with the Mavs. He and PG/SG Luka Doncic could pair up for 100 Fantasy points, perhaps the best chance in 10/27 NBA DFS.

Hassan Whiteside — Rebounds and blocks will be there, but it’s hard to envision that he will continue averaging 19 points per game.

Verdict — Fun pairing, but I’ll take the over on Porzingis and the under on Whiteside.

But wait, there’s more! Catch my co-host (Javi Prellezo) and I talking about the start of the NBA season. Not only do we break down both of Tuesday’s games, but we also make our picks for the NBA Finals.

New Orleans Pelicans at Toronto Raptors

O/U: 231.5 (Raptors -7)

NBA DFS: New Orleans Pelicans

The trade of Anthony Davis to the Lakers brought starters PG Lonzo Ball and SF/PF Brandon Ingram, while a deal with the Jazz brought in PF/C Derrick Favors. The Pels signed SG/SF J.J. Redick to go along with PG/SG Jrue Holiday, the only holdover from the 2018-19 lineup. Oh, yeah: Zion Williamson. Not to worry about him, as the first overall pick of this June’s draft will miss 6-8 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his torn right lateral meniscus.

NBA DFS: Toronto Raptors

Once SF Kawhi Leonard made the decision for a warm reception in L.A., the World Champions began to retool. C Marc Gasol picked up his player option, while young wings Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Stanley Johnson were signed to add depth. PG Kyle Lowry inked a two-year extension, but the future of the franchise was clearly decided last week when PF/C Pascal Siakam signed a four-year, $130 extension, clearly making him the focal point of the team. Veteran PF/C Serge Ibaka is more of a role player at this stage. Siakam isn’t the only youngster the Raptors are counting on, as PG/SG Fred VanVleet and SF/PF OG Anunoby are expected to take bigger roles.

NBA DFS: DraftKings Approach

NBA DFS Captain:

Preferred (in order of preference): Fred VanVleet ($8,700), Pascal Siakam ($14,700), Kyle Lowry ($13,200), Jrue Holiday ($15,600).

NBA DFS Utility:

(Whoever you do not use in Captain is also great in utility): Derrick Favors ($11,400)Brandon Ingram ($12,300), Marc Gasol ($10,800), JJ Redick ($9.300), Lonzo Ball ($10,500), Norman Powell ($6,900), Serge Ibaka ($10,200) Nickeil Alexander-Walker ($4,800).

NBA DFS: FanDuel Approach

NBA DFS MVP:

Pascal Siakam (cash) ($8,000), Jrue Holiday ($8,700), Fred VanVleet ($5,600), Kyle Lowry ($7,600)

Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers

O/U: 226 (Lakers -2.5)

NBA DFS: Los Angeles Lakers

Eventually, this will be PF Anthony Davis’ team, but SF/soon to be listed as PG LeBron James remains the Alpha Dog on this roster. Speaking of dogs, the rest of the Lakers lineup has plenty of woof-woof. Defensive-minded Avery Bradley is at the two while long-range sniper Danny Green floats between SG/SF. C JaVale McGee completes the lineup but will likely cede critical minutes Dwight Howard, who can still offer rebounds and scoring despite no longer being the shot-blocking presence he once was. The bench gets very, very thin after PG Rajon Rondo.

NBA DFS: Los Angeles Clippers

Predicted to end the Warriors’ iron grip on the Western Conference, the Clippers will be short-handed until SF Paul George debuts in mid-to-late November. For now, SF Kawhi Leonard will stuff stat sheets with his all-around game. There’s considerable firepower off the bench, with 6th Man of the Year SG Lou Williams teaming up with high-volume C Montrezl Harrell and versatile SF Maurice Harkless. PG Patrick Beverley is a defensive bulldog. Promising PG/SG Landry Shamet can score in spurts. C Ivica Zubac has shown flashes of being an underrated presence, and PF JaMychal Green brings energy and the ability to clean the glass.

NBA DFS: DraftKings Approach

NBA DFS Captain:

Preferred (in order of preference): LeBron James ($15,300), Anthony Davis ($16,200), Kawhi Leonard ($13,200), Lou Williams ($11,700).

NBA DFS Utility:

(Whoever you do not use in Captain is also great in utility): Montrezl Harrell ($10,200)Danny Green ($9,300), Patrick Beverley ($8,300), Landry Shamet ($6.300), Ivica Zubac ($7,200), JaVale McGee ($7,500), Dwight Howard ($6,900) Rajon Rondo ($8,700).

NBA DFS: FanDuel Approach

NBA DFS MVP:

LeBron James (cash) ($15,500), Anthony Davis ($17,000), Kawhi Leonard ($14,500), Lou Williams ($11,000)

Kawhi Leonard over 26,5 points — Leonard scored 26.6 points per game last season, a career best and the third time in the last four seasons he has scored at least 20 points per game.

LeBron James under 27.5 points — The career 27.2 points per game scorer was a tad better in 2018-19, averaging 27.4 points per night despite playing a career-low 55 games.
