ANthony Rendon

First Base

Christian Walker, Brewers at Diamondbacks ($3000 FD, $4600 DK): An extremely affordable piece of a potent offense, Walker and the rest of the Snakes get a shot at Zach Davies, who is nothing more than a mediocre pitcher. Look for the momentum the Diamondbacks offense displayed last night to continue. Look to the other side of the diamond in Eric Thames ($2700 FD, $4500 DK) for another affordable DFS MLB option. Opposing pitcher Merrill Kelly has not been anything special.

Second Base

Keston Hiura, Brewers at Diamondbacks ($3600 FD, $5000 DK): His price has risen according to his talent. Recently moved up to the cleanup spot, Hiura gets the same matchup that Thames does and I am beginning to see a trend that a Brewers stack could be in a good spot.

Franklin Barreto, Athletics at Twins ($2400 FD, $3700 DK): He is an affordable piece of a hot Athletics offense that gets a major park upgrade heading to Minnesota. An especially good place to hit for righties. Look for Barreto to deposit a ball into the bleachers, something he has done twice in the last six games.

Shortstop

Marcus Semien, Athletics at Twins ($3300 FD, $4500 DK): For many of the same reasons that I like Barreto, I like Semien. Should be batting out of the leadoff spot too!

Didi Gregorius (N/A FD, $3600 DK): is in another DFS MLB bat I was looking at, but because it is the second game of a doubleheader, you will have to be waiting on the Yankees lineup. The price on DK might be too good to ignore if he plays.

Third Base

Anthony Rendon, Nationals at Braves ($4400 FD, $5100 DK): Rendon is consistently hitting the ball with authority and power. But he has not had a true monster DFS MLB game in awhile. That could change tonight with a major park upgrade.

Mike Moustakas, Brewers at Diamondbacks ($3800 FD, $4700 DK): He is in a good spot as well as a major part of the powerful and deep Brewers offense.

Outfield

Michael Brantley, Astros at Angels ($3800 FD, $4500 DK): History tells us to target lefty bats against Matt Harvey and in Anaheim for DFS MLB purposes. With Yordan Alvarez battling a knee injury and questionable to play, Brantley is the best lefty bat Houston has.

Ronald Acuna Jr., Nationals at Braves ($4000 FD, $4700 DK): He has stolen four bases in his last four games. In the previous four games before that stretch, he hit 3 HRs. He is the the best power-speed guy in the game today and going against Strasburg should not scare you away.

Ketel Marte, Brewers at Diamondbacks ($3700 FD, $5300 DK): He is an important part of any DFS MLB stack or mini-stack of Diamondbacks batters.

Your prime DFS stack choices for the Friday slate.

1.) Boston Red Sox Stack

Gregory Soto is the worst pitcher on this slate and he gets a powerhouse offense in the Boston Red Sox. He has a .390 BAA, eight home runs given up and a 11.51 ERA at home this season. The usual Boston stack suspects are who I want, Betts and Martinez. I don’t mind Devers since Carpenter has been horrible against lefties. I also love Benintendi in this one as I see a nice multi-hit game coming out of him.

2.) Washington Nationals Stack

Brad Keller started off this season very strong and then something clicked and he turned into who he really is, a trash can. On this road this season he holds a 5.08 ERA and a .281 BAA. He also has a sub seven K/9 so a lot of balls are being kept in play. He is equally horrible to both sides, but he does walk lefties more than righties. That gives me more love for Adam Eaton as that ups his potential for stolen bases. Pair him with Juan Soto, Anthony Rendon and Trea Turner in this stack.

3.) Minnesota Twins Stack

Surprisingly Adrian Sampson has been really good in Texas and HORRIBLE away from Texas. Away from Texas he holds a 6.47 ERA and a .306 BAA and .604 SLG. Sampson has also been reverse splits this season, so I love Nelson Cruz for a deep ball in this one. I also don’t mind Eddie Rosario, Jorge Polanco and my all time favorite Twins stack tournament play, Max Kepler.

4.) Houston Astros Stack

I’m not sure who the opening pitcher is going to be here, but we do know that Felix Pena is going to follow. Pena has been especially worse against left-handed bats this season (.281 BAA, right home runs given up). I’m especially looking at Yordan Alvarez and Michael Brantley in this stack. Obviously you can round out this stack with Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve.

Wednesday’s MLB actionincludes some big-time offenses in great spots for DFS purposes. So below wehave four stacks to target as you assemble your Daily Fantasy Sports entries.

Sign up NOW forWIN DAILY Premium Gold right here!Projections, weather reports, wagering info, 24/7 expert chats and more!

New York Yankees

The New York Mets will be starting Jason Vargas on the bump in this one. Vargas is a guy that the Yankees should be able to get to. The right-hander has a 5.05 SIERA and a 5.09 xFIP while striking out just 20% of the batters he has faced in 2019. We will want to get some exposure in our DFS lineups.

So of course, we want to load up on some Yankees in our DFS lineups and our New York stack will start with Gary Sanchez (FanDuel: $4,200 DraftKings: $4,700). Sanchez has an ISO north of .300 versus left-handed pitching. Some other Yankee’s bats worth considering are: Edwin Encarnacion (FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $4,300) and Gleyber Torres (FanDuel: $3,700 DraftKings: $4,600). Both have ISOs above .200 versus righties in 2019. And do not forget about Aaron Judge (FanDuel: $4,500 DraftKings: $4,800) and D.J. LeMahieu (FanDuel: $4,500 DraftKings: $5,200). Both of these Yankees have wOBAs greater than .400 against lefties in 2019.

Houston Astros

With the Astros having already hit 98 home runs against right-handed pitching this season, it is safe to say they have a really good chance of tacking a few more onto that total in this one. Not only are they playing in Coors Field, but the Rockies’ Peter Lambert is allowing 2.55 HR/9. Load up on the Astros in your DFS entries.

Lambert has really struggled at home this season. He is allowing a .478 wOBA and a 46% hard contact rate in Colorado in 2019. So feel free to stack any combination of Astros. But you will want to pay particular attention to the lefty bats in the Houston lineup. Lambert is allowing a .440/.444/1.040 slash line to lefties at home this season. With that in mind, we will want to start our DFS Astros’ build with Yordan Alvarez (FanDuel: $4,400 DraftKings: $5,500), if he is healthy enough to get back in the lineup. The Houston slugger has a .400 ISO and a .424 wOBA against righties this season.

Colorado Rockies

Any time the Rockies’ offense is opposed by a lefty, they have to be considered for DFS stacking purposes. Against left-handed pitching this season, Colorado has been very successful. As a team, they have a .200 ISO and a .340 wOBA against left-handed pitching. And when they get to face a left-hander in the thin air of Colorado they are a no-brainer DFS stacking option.

So, your Colorado DFS building blocks should include the likes of: Ian Desmond (FanDuel: $3,300 DraftKings: $4,500), Nolan Arenado (FanDuel: $4,600 DraftKings: $5,300), Charlie Blackmon (FanDuel: $4,500 DraftKings: $5,800) and David Dahl (FanDuel: $3,900 DraftKings: $5,200). All four of these Rockies’ batters have accumulated at least a .230 ISO versus left-handed pitching.

Boston Red Sox

You are going to want to pick on Toronto’s Sean Reid-Foley in your DFS lineups on Wednesday. Reid-has a 5.75 SIERA and a 6.46 xFIP as well as a low 9.9% swing strike rate. The Blue Jays’ starter is not missing many bats.

We want to build our Boston’ DFS stack starting with the usual suspects: Mookie Betts (FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $4,400), Rafael Devers (FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $4,700) and Xander Bogaerts (FanDuel: $4,200 DraftKings: $4,600). These three batters have ISOs greater than .200 against right-handed pitching.

Washington Nationals

In 65 career at-bats against the Marlins’ Sandy Alcantara, the Nationals’ current roster has a .369/.431/.706 slash line. In particular Anthony Rendon (FanDuel: $4,400 DraftKings: $5,500) and Juan Soto (FanDuel: $4,200 DraftKings: $5,000) have been excellent against the Miami starter. Combined, the players are 9-for-23 with three home runs and eight RBIs against Alcantara and are excellent DFS building blocks for Wednesday.

DFS Hitting Picks and Stacks for Saturday

First Base – Eric Hosmer, San Diego Padres

DraftKings $4,100

Going up against Dakota Hudson in this one is a dream DFS matchup. A pitcher who can’t get lefties out against a left-handed bat who is hot at the plate? I’ll take that all day in DFS.

Second Base – Ketel Marte, Arizona Diamondbacks

DraftKings $5,200

Ketel Marte has been the hottest hitter in baseball over the last couple weeks. Against lefties he is batting .327 with only 12 strikeouts. I’ll ride the hot hand in DFS.

Shortstop – Alex Bregman, Houston Astros

DraftKings $5,100

In his career at Houston against lefties Bregman is a .296 hitter and he’s continuing that trend this season. He also does not strike out against lefties very much so with the ball most likely being put in play, I’ll take my chances in DFS.

Third Base – Anthony Rendon, Washington Nationals

DraftKings $5,200

Anthony Rendon is always a prime DFS play against a lefty. He gets a horrid pitcher in Soto, I’m all in here.

Outfield – Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves

DraftKings $5,300

So far in Acuna’s young career he has been exceptional against left-handed pitchers (.308 BA). Matz tends to be on his game or horrible, I’ll lean with the latter and take Acuna

Outfield – Chad Pinder, Oakland Athletics

DraftKings $3,400

Chad Pinder is always worth a DFS look against an average lefty. So far this season he is batting .286 with five home runs against southpaws.

DFS Stacks for Saturday

1.) Washington Nationals

I am an avid Gregory Soto stacker. Every time this man pitches it’s an easy DFS stack and load em’ up situation for me. He is carrying a 4.50 ERA at home and a .350 BAA against righties. As mentioned above, Anthony Rendon is a smash play. I also love Juan Soto and Victor Robles in this one. I think the Nationals get to Soto early and run him out of Detroit.

2.) Houston Astros

Yusei Kikuchi has not been what the Mariners were predicting he would be thus far. His strikeout numbers are depleted and that hurts him because this Astros team just does not strike out. He’s going to be in store for a very rough afternoon.

Catcher – Gary Sanchez vs. Odrisamer Despaigne

FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $5,000

The Yankees’ catcher has a .376 ISO versus right-handed pitchers in 2019. Sanchez also has a .399 wOBA and a 152 wRC+ against righties. Sanchez should take advantage and keep crushing righties in this one.

First Base – Freddie Freeman vs. Cole Irvin

FanDuel: $4,500 DraftKings: $5,500

Richie Martin

Outfield –  Mike Trout vs. Ryan Stanek

FanDuel: $4,600 DraftKings: $5,700

FanDuel: $2,300 DraftKings: $3,400

Harrison Bader

FanDuel: $2,400 DraftKings: $3,300

Top Stacks

New York Yankees:

It seems like you always want to try to get as many Yankees’ bats into your DFS lineups as you can. Today is no different, especially with the White Sox’s Odrisamer Despaigne on the bump. The Chicago right-hander has a 7.15 SIERA in six innings pitched in 2019. Things surely are set up for the Yankees’ offense to succeed on Sunday.

Boston Red Sox:

John Means could be in for a long one here. The Orioles’ starter has a 4.96 xFIP and a 4.51 SIERA this season. And now he faces a hot Boston offense that has a .241 ISO  and a .350 wOBA over the last seven days. Means should be in trouble early and often here so stack up all the Red Sox that you can.

Minnesota Twins:

The Royals’ Jakob Junis is a guy we want to attack today. He has a 5.35 ERA to go along with 42.9 hard contact rate. But equally important is the fact that the Twins have crushed right-handed pitching all season. As an offense, Minnesota has a .248 ISO against righties.

Value Stacks

Miami Marlins:

The Pirates’ Chris Archer is having a disastorous season. He is allowing a flyball rate of 39.8% and those flyballs are getting hit hard. He has a 43.4% hard contact rate. He is allowing 2.41 HR/9 this season. The Marlins may not be the most intimidating offense, but with their highest priced starter on FanDuel coming in at just $3,200, Miami is in play on Sunday.

Baltimore Orioles:

Brian Johnson has struggled in his brief time in the Majors. He has accumulated a 12.71 ERA and 6.03 xFIP. Johnson also has a 55% flyball rate as well as a 55% hard contact rate. The Orioles are not priced accordingly so take advantage of some value on Sunday.

Washington Nationals

Whenever the White Sox run Dylan Covey to the bump, there should be interest in stacking against him. The right-hander is basically everything we look for when searching for a pitcher to target against. Covey is a flyball pitcher with a 40% flyball rate. And he is not missing any bats. Covey also has a slate low 16.02% whiff rate and is allowing contact on 85.8% of swings taken by the opposition. The flyballs and heavy contact have led to a slate high 6.44 SIERA.

So of course, we want to get some Nationals in our DFS lineups for Wednesday. The Washington stack needs to start with Juan Soto (FanDuel: $4,300 DraftKings: $5,700). The outfielder has the best matchup of any of the Nationals’ batters. Soto has a .230 ISO versus right-handed pitching while Covey is allowing a .368 wOBA to lefty batters. Some other lefties worth considering, if they are in the lineup are: Gerardo Parra (FanDuel: $2,500 DraftKings: $4,200) and Matt Adams (FanDuel: $3,100 DraftKings: $4,400). Both lefties have ISOs above .240 versus righties in 2019.

Feel free to get Anthony Rendon (FanDuel: $4,500 DraftKings: $5,900) and Howie Kendrick (FanDuel: $2,900 DraftKings: $5,800) in your lineups. Both have crushed right-handed pitching all year and should have no problem making light work of Chicago’s Dylan Covey.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Any time the Dodgers’ offense is opposed by a righty, they have to be considered for stacking purposes. Against right-handed pitching this season, Los Angeles has been very successful. As a team they have a .218 ISO and a .353 wOBA) against right-handed pitching.

And tonight should be no different. While the Diamondbacks’ Jon Duplantier has a respectable 3.18 ERA, there is some regression coming. On the season he is allowing a 45.5% hard contact rate, highest on the slate. We have also seen his velocity dip almost three MPH since the start of the season.

As you look to stack Dodgers’ bats, use their lefties. Duplantier has allowed a 58.8% hard contact rate to left-handed bats this season. So, your L.A. building blocks would include the likes of: Joc Pederson (FanDuel: $3,800 DraftKings: $5,600), Cody Bellinger (FanDuel: $4,800 DraftKings: $5,800), Corey Seager (FanDuel: $3,900 DraftKings: $4,600) and Max Muncy (FanDuel: $4,000 DraftKings: $4,900). All four of these Dodgers’ left-handed batters have accumulated at least a .200 ISO versus right-handed pitching and should hit a few balls hard against the Arizona starter in this one.

Milwaukee Brewers

The Marlins’Sandy Alcantara is having an ok season on the surface with a respectable 4.08ERA. But his 5.65 SIERA tells a different story. A blow up is likely coming andprobably coming Monday. Alcantara is allowing a .323/.429/.485 slash line instarts where is coming in with five days rest. He last pitched May 30th.

While thisstack is appealing enough with that in mind, also consider that the Brewers’offense has a .201 ISO versus right-handed pitching this season. Load up on thefollowing Brewers: Christian Yelich (FanDuel: $4,900 DraftKings: $6,000), MikeMoustakas (FanDuel: $4,000 DraftKings: $5,600), Yasmani Grandal (FanDuel: $3,600DraftKings: $5,100) and Eric Thames (FanDuel: $3,000 DraftKings: $5,100). Eachof these Brewers’ bats have over .200 ISOs against righties this season.

St. Louis Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals’ offense has a date with the Reds’ Anthony DeSclafani on Monday. The right-hander seems like a good target to pick on for Wednesday. Not only is he allowing 2.32 HR/9 this season, and the Cardinals have roughed him up pretty well in the past.

The current Cardinals’ roster has a career .300/.383/.555 slash line against him in 120 at-bats. You will want to get Marcell Ozuna (FanDuel: $4,300 DraftKings: $5,200), Matt Carpenter (FanDuel: $3,200 DraftKings: $4,300) and Paul Goldschmidt (FanDuel: $3,700 DraftKings: $4,300) in your lineups. Carpenter and Goldy each have over 1.500 OPS against the Reds’ starter in their careers.

Other stacks to consider:

Texas Rangers vs. John Means

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Spencer Turnbull

New York Yankees vs. Trent Thorton

Value Stack: San Francisco Giants

By most accounts, the Mets’ Jason Vargas is not a very good pitcher. He has a 5.39 SIERA. He is allowing a 44.4% hard contact rate, while striking out just 17.8% of the batters he has faced.

DespiteVargas’ lack of success this season, the DFS sites, particularly FanDuel, have pricedthe Giants extremely low. Their most expensive regular can be had for just$3,300. Use the Giants to help cram in your other, more expensive stacks forWednesday.

Good luckand happy stacking!

Pablo Lopez has a 8.03 road ERA and the reeling Nationalsdesperately need a win. He has been nearly evenly vulnerable against leftiesand righties, so I will spend for Anthony Rendon at $5500 on DraftKings, 4000for Adam Eaton, and 4600 for Juan Soto. If Matt Adams is in the lineup I willalso strongly consider him at 4100.

I am always up for attacking Toronto’s Trent Thornton, so Iwill cherry pick a Padre or two. Franmil Reyes (4,400) is hitting .314 withseven homers and 12 RBI in 22 road games. Manuel Margot is hitting .306 witheight RBI and seven runs scored in 20 road games. He hits lower in the lineup butis a great salary saver at 2,900 if he is active.

The Mets lineup is depleted by injuries, but could still providequality choices against Gregory Soto and the Tigers 28th rankedbullpen in terms of ERA. Pete Alonso will be worth 5300 and J.D, Davis shouldbe locked in at 4,200. Amed Rosario is a GPP play at 3,900 if he leads offagain.

Jerad Eickoff’s mini-resurrection seems to have flamed outalready. It’s a bad spot for him at Milwaukee. If Ben Gamel is in the lineup Ilike him at 3700. Keston Hiura is worth strong consideration at the same priceas he has been hitting fifth or sixth recently.

Mike Foltynewicz has melted into a regular target of DFSplayers. He has a 7.50 road ERA and RHPs have actually fared better againsthim, hitting .327 with six of his 10 HRs allowed. Let’s go Double Pauling: PaulGoldschmidt is my play of the night at just 4,100, and I will take Paul DeJongat 4,700. I will also take Dexter Fowler if he is in the lineup at 3,800. Yadier Molina will be my catchertonight at 3,700.

Of course I will have some Yankees in against JakobJunis.  Obviously Gleyber Torres crushesmediocre pitching, and is well worth the 5100. Kendrys Morales is a nice puntat 3200 and I will also consider Brett Gardner at 4500.

I will also roll out some A’s hitters against Wade LeBlanc.Stephen Pisciotty is hitting ,373 with 11 RBI against LHPs, while JuricksonProfar is at .327 with seven RBI against them. I can get good salary reliefwith both guys under 4000.
