Here are some of my prime and favored DraftKings picks for NFL DFS Week One.
NFL DFS Week One Running Backs
-Nick Chubb will be very busy, will catch some passes, andis a very good play at $6,400.
-Kerryon Johnson is one of my favorite picks of the day at $5,800against the Cardinals, who still should be vulnerable to the run.
-Mark Ingram is a good cash game play at $5,100. This is hismuch deserved chance to start.
-Matt Breida will start for the 49ers in what will be a highscoring affair, and is just $4,000.
-Miles Sanders is a good play at $3,900 as he could rip offa big play or two against a Washington defense that will be on the field too long.I could see him scoring on a long TD run.
-Dare Ogunbowale is worth a GPP dart when you considerNiners-Bucs will be high scoring and he may be Tampa Bay’s best receiving back.
NFL DFS Week One Wide Receivers
–Tyler Lockett is only $6,000 and will go for 100-plus yards and a TD in the opener.
-Tyler Boyd will be very useful at $5,800 in the same game,as Seattle’s defensive weakness is in the secondary. Boyd will be frequentlytargeted.
-Mike Williams is just too cheap at $5,300 and he may have abig opener against the Colts, using his size and strength against their CBs.
-DeSean Jackson is going to be a popular play at $4,500. Butagainst the Washington secondary in a one-sided affair, he will be worth it. Ifthe Eagles roll out to a big lead, he will be a part of it.
-DK Metcalf is worth a GPP play, because he may not bewidely owned. The Seahawks have already elevated him to the starting lineup andare going to take some downfield and end zone shots to him.
-John Ross ($3,900) could be a nifty punt play. He can burnthe Seattle secondary with his speed and the Bengals want to get him rollingearly this season, especially with A.J. Green out.
NFL DFS Week One Quarterbacks
-Carson Wentz is the cash game play of the day at $5,700. Ifyou worried about him getting benched later in a blowout, think about how the Eagleswill pile up the points in the first place.
-Kyler Murray is worth a GPP play at $5,600. He won’t bewidely owned and the skill set is there, even though the matchup does not lookgreat.
-Take a GPP shot on Kirk Cousins at $5,500. He needs to getoff to a good start after not playing well down the stretch last season.
NFL DFS Week One Tight Ends
-Mark Andrews is simply a must play against Miami at theprice of $3,000
-You could get about five catches and a score from T.J.Hockenson for $3,100, so take a GPP shot.
Best Defensive Values
Seahawks ($3,100), Bills ($3,000).
