I want to start off this article by saying you must have the absolute nuts to win the top prize up top on large field GPPs. There is no room for mistakes with so many entries in these contests. If you think you are going to win it all by playing a combo of the top seven guys in the player pool, you are not. If a combo of a bunch of guys you have heard of before is indeed the best scoring lineup, you will most likely tie for first. If that sounds good to you, then go for it. It will be profitable if you nail it, but for me, I like to be a little different on these slates. I will be making multiple teams and taking long shots on a few cheap guys.
Leaving cash on the table in these NFL DFS contests is fine too. This makes your lineup even more unique and lower owned because a lot of amateurs will be pulling their hair out to use their entire salary.
That all being said, I have looked at every possible player that can get on the field and listed my picks below.

The NFL DFS Week 11 Sunday Night Showdown Picks
MVP: Cooper Kupp ($13,500 FD)
I am going with a bounce-back game from Kupp here. He is too elite for Jared Goff to not go right back to him after zero catches against the Steelers. The game before last he put up 220 yards and a touchdown. He has gone over 20 FD points four times this year. He has the biggest upside on the slate whether it be a wide receiver or running back. I will take a shot with him.
Pivot: Todd Gurly ($13,000 FD)
The Bears are ranked 24th against the running back. I know Gurly doesn’t get the huge workload he did a couple of seasons ago but he is still going to get the lions to share out of the backfield. This game feels sloppy, and possibly low scoring.
Pivot: Jared Goff ($15,000 FD)
I think the Rams win here and Goff is the QB. He too had a terrible game last week but he will be running the offense for the team that I think wins tonight.
Flex Options:
- Allen Robinson ($12,500 FD) Will be the top targeted Bear in a game where they should be playing catch up.
- Mitchel Tribusky ($14,000) The price seems high, but he will be throwing it a lot here, especially if David Montgomery misses. We are still waiting for the news.
- David Montgomery ($12,500 FD) WATCH THE NEWS. HE IS QUESTIONABLE
- Tarik Cohen ($8,500 FD) He is ranked fourth IF Montgomery is out. If Montgomery is in, I bump him down a little.
- HUGE BOOST WITH NO WOODSJosh Reynolds ($8,500 FD) Love the price with Cooks still out
- Taylor Gabriel ($10,500 FD)Big Play WR, like him more if Montgomery is out. He could get some designed run plays
- INACTIVE Robert Woods ($12,000 FD) Rams WR2
- Gerald Everett ($10,000 FD) He is dealing with a wrist injury but should play
- Anthony Miller ($6,000 FD) Too cheap for Miller here. He is my favorite cheap option.
- Greg Zuerlein ($9,500 FD) Rams Kicker
- Darrell Henderson ($7,500 FD) Rams backup RB. Don’t play him with Gurly.
- Eddie Pineiro ($9,000 FD) Bears Kicker
- Ben Braunecker ($6,000 FD) Will be starting at TE. Love the price.

- Cordarelle Patterson ($5,500 FD) LOVE HIM if Montgomery is out. Boom or bust.
- Tyler Higbee ($6,500 FD) If Everett is in I like him a lot less. If Everett is out he is a great punt
- J.P. Holtz ($5,000 FD) He will be one of the Bears two active tight ends. Don’t play with Braunecker
- Malcolm Brown ($6,000 FD) Rams RB 2. I only want one Rams back.
