NFL DFS Picks Of Destiny: Week 2 Preseason Sunday and Monday Preview

Preseason NFL is all about finding players who will have guaranteed playing time and high usage on the field. Follow my position plays and lock in the NFL DFS Picks of Destiny for Sunday and Monday.Note: All NFL DFS players are priced the exact same on both FanDuel and DraftKings.QuarterbackTaysom Hill (New Orleans Saints)Coach Sean Payton is letting his Swiss Army Knife, Hill, play. Last week he went 8-for-14 for 80 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed six times for 45 yards. He really can do it all, especially against the Chargers defense that gave up 17 points to the Arizona Cardinals last week. The Saints are going to put it up more this week, and Hill can attack them through the air or on the ground. He is my favorite NFL DFS quarterback.Drew Lock (Denver Broncos)In Week 1, Lock logged significantly more playing time than any Broncos quarterback. He went 17-for-28 with 180 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Joe Flacco is the regular season starter and played just one series the first week. I expect Lock to get another long look Monday vs. the 49ers defense. We are looking for playing time and opportunity in preseason NFL DFS and Lock has both in his favor.49ers QBsNick Mullens and CJ Beathard both threw 17 times, both had over 100 yards and both threw one touchdown in Week 1. I give Mullens the slight edge this week.Running BacksXavier Turner (Seattle Seahawks)He got the majority of the Seahawks carries last week, rushing 15 times for 42 yards. He also caught his only target for eight additional yards. The Seahawks are very difficult to predict, especially when it comes to running backs, but if I had to choose one for NFL DFS, it would be Turner.Austin Walter (San Francisco 49ers)Last week he had 13 carries for 38 yards and five receptions for 32 yards. If he is going to be a dual threat, you have to consider him against the Broncos on Monday night.Wide Receiver Deebo Samuel (San Francisco 49ers)He was popular in Week 1 and didn’t necessarily break the slate. He caught 2-for-4 for 61 yards with a 45-yard reception. He is a downfield threat and has a good shot to get another deep ball today. He just has to catch it. You can consider Richie James as a 49ers punt.Tre’Quan Smith (New Orleans Saints)With the season approaching, I expect Smith to start to get a longer look. He popped a couple times for us last season but still continues to struggle with his hands. He is the kind of boom or bust receiver that could win you a NFL DFS GPP. In Week 1 he was only targeted twice and caught both for 16 yards. The low output last week should help lower his ownership in Week 2. I would pair him with with the aforementioned Hill.TEDan Arnold (New Orleans Saints)Arnold had two catches for 23 yards with a touchdown in Week 1. I remember last season hearing rumblings about his talent and how much Sean Payton liked to try and find him opportunities. This preseason, he is going to have opportunities to continue to prove himself. He is legitimately a player who can contribute on a weekly basis, but the playing time just has not been there for him, as he is stuck behind Jared Cook and Josh Hill on the depth chart. Arnold will play with the third team offense and will have the most reliable hands on the field for the Saints. I am predicting lightning strikes here two weeks in a row.Ross Dwelley (San Francisco 49ers)Dwelley is trying to fight off rookie Kaden Smith for the backup TE job behind George Kittle, with Garrett Celek currently injured. Last week he had only one catch for 21 yards, however, he was only targeted once. Dwelley has the hands and the speed to get loose and take one to the house. He should also be the preferred TE target in the red zone and is worth a NFL DFS GPP dart.Defense Rankings:

  1. Saints
  2. Vikings
