9/28 EPL – 10:00 AM ET Main Slate

Match by Match Breakdown by Austin Harmon

We have a beautiful seven game slate on FanDuel and six game slate on DraftKings. Let’s get to the breakdown of each game, and Rich Masana will break down his top picks for this week.

9/28 EPL Match One: Watford at Wolves

A battle of two struggling teams, Watford was just demolished 8-0 last week by Manchester City. Wolves pulled out a miraculous extra time goal against Palace to get a point, but this game will be favored in Wolves direction. I think Watford has an absolutely horrid defense, and quite frankly, not much of an offense, so I will be looking at Jimenez and Rui Patricio as two players I will target.

9/28 EPL Match Two: Burnley at Aston Villa

Villa comes into this game as a slight favorite, but Burnley is the better team overall. I believe James Tarkowski of Burnley is still priced too low on FanDuel, and may take a crack at some of exposure with him, but other than that, I see a low scoring game that I do not want any part of.

9/28 EPL Match Three: West Ham at Bournemouth

Two teams that have had great starts to the season battle it out at Bournemouth. This will be a very even game, but I think it has the potential to end 2-2. These would be tournament only plays, but I look at Sebastian Haller for West Ham, and Joshua King for Bournemouth as my top plays if I had to play a tournament with some exposure.

9/28 EPL Match Four: Brighton at Chelsea

It’s hard to believe that we would see Chelsea in 11th place in the table after six weeks, but here we are. Brighton haven’t made a real impact after winning their first few games, and I think Chelsea should dominate this game. I am looking at Tammy Abraham as a lock on both sites, with exposure to Mason Mount, Willian, and Pulisic if he plays. This game should end 3-0 Chelsea, so if you have to, I would end up rolling Kepa at goalie on both sites.

9/28 EPL Match Five: Norwich City at Crystal Palace

Teemu Pukki has been the headlining star of this Premier League campaign, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the scoresheet again. On the flip side, Palace do not score a lot of goals at home, but are starting to turn on the attack, just didn’t finish too many opportunities last week. I look at Jordan Ayew and Wilfried Zaha in this matchup this week against a weakened defense in Norwich.

9/28 EPL Match Six: Southampton at Tottenham

Play Tottenham. They haven’t been great as of late, but have a great matchup against Southhampton.  Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, and Son Heung Min are my top plays as they take on a weak Southhampton team.

9/28 EPL Match Seven: Manchester City at Everton

Manchester City have been red hot, and that’s why I’m looking at Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, and Kevin De Bruyne as my top plays on both sites. City should still be able to score three or four goals against a decent Everton side, who has allowed some leaks at the back.

As always, make sure you check the starting lineups. Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @austinhar17
