NBA DFS Tuesday Night Position Breakdown with DFS Pro David Jones

NBA DFS is all about finding the best opportunities for guaranteed production with high upside. Follow my stud and value plays and lock in the NBA DFS Picks of Destiny.

David Jones took down the Week 3 Sunday Night Showdown in his second tournament takedown in two days!

IMPORTANT: NBA DFS is completely different that any other sport. Players get ruled out five minutes before games and you HAVE TO BE READY to pivot. I will update this article as close to lock as possible with any big news, but play it safe and stay on top of the news yourself. Hanging out in our Slack Chat is a great way to keep up to date.

11/4 NBA DFS Point Guard

  1. Dejounte Murray ($7,000 FD)

He has a nice matchup against the Atlanta Hawks today, who may or may not be without their future All-Star Trae Young. Murray is producing well over a point per minute in every game so far this season which is something I look for. Make sure the Spurs intend to start him and not limit his minutes (you never know with Pop). Update: Derrick White is questionable (probably out), this helps Murray

2. Kemba Walker ($9,100 FD)

He is a safe bet to be the highest scoring point guard on tonight’s slate. He goes up against the Cavs, who are a great team to target with point guards. Kemba is hot right now, scoring over 40 FanDuel points his last four games, however his price has caught up. If you play Kemba, he should not be the reason you don’t cash. I would love to have him in my lineup if I can fit it.

Pivots: Malcolm Brogdon, Patty Mills (will get 20 minutes at 4K on FD)

Update: Trae Young is most likely playing. If the Hawks stay in this game it is because of Young. I would not hesitate to use him. He will be lower owned than he should be because he is coming off an ankle sprain.

Note: If Justise Winslow is out I will have more interest in the Miami Point Guards. UPDATE: He looks likely to play

11/4 NBA DFS Shooting Guard

  1. DeMar DeRozan ($7,600 FD)

He is my favorite high priced option. He is too cheap right now and I expect his price to climb over the next couple of weeks. If this game stays close I can see DeRozan having his best game of the season so far. It would help if Trae Young plays as he would be the Hawks primary scorer and help keep the game close. If for some reason Trae and John Collins are out I would scrap the Spurs starters. I will update when more information starts to trickle in.

2. Marcus Smart ($5,600 FD)

With Jaylen Brown missing the past two games Marcus Smart has gotten a minutes boost. One game he put up 35 FD points and in another game he put up 23 FD points. Which Smart will show? Against the Cavs and at $5,600 FD I am thinking its the one that goes 6x. I do not want him and Kemba in the same lineup if I can avoid it.

Pivot: Jeremy Lamb

Update: KCP is starting for the Lakers

Update: Pivot: Kevin Huerter (if Trae Young out) UPDATE: Young in, moving off Huerter

11/4 Small Forward

Note: I prefer Anthony Davis over LeBron James today. If you do not have Davis, I think you have to have James.

  1. T.J. Warren ($6,500 FD)

This guy broke my heart the other night by only getting six points in 27 minutes. However three out of his last four games he has scored 33 or more FanDuel points. With the Pacers getting a little beat up Warren should be in for over 30 minutes here pretty easily if he is producing. His value goes up with Myles Turner out and it would be even greater if Sabonis is forced to sit. He is my favorite value SF on the night, but proceed with caution. Warren can be unpredictable.

2. DeAndre’ Bembry ($4,700 FD) Trae is in but Collins is out. Still like him.

Nice cheap small forward who has been getting more minutes lately. Again, if Trae Young is in I don’t like him as much. Look to one of the pivots.

Pivot: Rudy Gay, Cameron Reddish (no Collins), Gordon Hayward, Danilo Gallinari, DeAndre Hunter (really hasn’t show much this year but gets a bump with Collins out, he is cheap)

Note: I wrote this article as if Justise Winslow is playing. If he is out that should open up a lot of opportunity on Miami. Stay tuned.

11/4 NBA DFS Power Forward

UPDATE: John Collins is suspended.

  1. Anthony Davis ($11,900 FD)

Prioritize getting him in your lineup tonight. Every time he is on the court he could be the highest scoring player on the slate. The Bulls are ranked 30th at defending power forward so Davis is going to eat here. If for some reason you do not have Davis, you better get LeBron James as a Lakers hedge.

2. Domantas Sabonis ($8,900 FD)

He is questionable right now. Make sure he is playing and will get full allotment of minutes. He would be in a smash spot against the Charolette Hornets, who are terrible at defending big men. He gets an extra usage bump with Myles Turner already ruled out.

Pivots: Jayson Tatum, Daniel Theis

Update: Bam Adebayo (Heat should want him in as much as possible to help slow down Jokic)

Update: Jabari Parker, he gets usage bump and is cheap on both sites with Collins out. Will be chalky, but will pay off

Note: TJ Leaf ONLY IF SABONIS AND TURNER ARE RULED OUT.. My feeling is Sabonis plays

11/4 DFS Center

Goga Bitadze ($5,300 FD)

Update: Turner is now questionable. Can’t play Bitadze if Turner is in. If Sabonis is in, I am not longer high on Bitz. Jokic and Thompson would be my two favorite plays.

My favorite thing to do so far this season in NBA DFS is target the Charlotte Hornets big men. Myles Turner is out and Goga Bitadze should be getting the starting nod for the Pacers. His past two games he has done a TON with the somewhat limited minutes. He is contributing in every stat category which is one of the most important things I target. He is favorite player on the slate, with price factored in.

Pivot: Jokic, Tristan Thompson,

T.J. Warren gets a bump with Myles Turner and possibly Domantas Sabonis out. Goga Bitadze should get just as many minutes if not more than Cody Zeller and has been producing more than him on a per minute bases. Small sample size but I love Bitadze tonight.
