I will update this article as close to lineup lock as possible with any big news, but play it safe and stay on top of the news yourself. 12/31 NBA DFS Point Guard

1. Kyle Lowry ($7,800 FD) He is going to get close to 40 minutes against the Cavs 22nd ranked defense against the point guard (best on the slate). Lowry’s price is still at a discount with a depleted Raptors team. Love him tonight.
2. Jamal Murray ($6,600 FD) Price too low for the starting point guard in a high paced game against the Rockets.
3. Luka Doncic ($10,800 FD) You really can never fade him totally. He is a triple-double threat but dealing with a wrist injury. Make sure he is playing, and if you have the salary play Luka and feel safe about it. CP3’s defense is still better than most, but Doncic is close to matchup proof.

Punt: Collin Sexton

Note: Dejounte Murray ($5,700 FD) The Spurs have the second-best matchup at the position against the Golden State Warriors tonight. I simply don’t trust Coach Pop and seldom play Spurs. I am considering Murray a punt because of the constant uncertainty in minutes for the Spurs.

12/31 NBA DFS Shooting Guard

1. Fred VanVleet ($8,200 FD) Great spot against Cavs. I have him projected for 40 FD points again tonight.
2. Damion Lee ($6,000 FD) D Russ is out and Damion Lee is going to get a bump in minutes in usage. He has been putting up 30+ sharing the court, I expect more from him tonight. He is thriving and fighting for a roster spot in the NBA the past couple of weeks.
3. DeMar DeRozan ($7,600 FD) This game could be a shoot out. Good spot for DeRozan.
4. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($7,400 FD) Hot lately. He has not had a game under 5x value in the past two weeks. Price is creeping up, but I feel safe with him tonight, in cash especially.

Note: I think I am fading James Harden tonight.

12/31 NBA DFS Small Forward

1. Alec Burks ($5,600 FD) Love it with no D. Russ. I am locking him in.
2. Will Barton ($6,300 FD) Very fair price for him against the Rockets.
3. Glenn Robinson ($4,600 FD) Should get 30+ minutes against the Spurs with no D. Russ. Too cheap.

12/31 NBA DFS Power Forward

1. Marquese Chriss ($4,000 FD) No Cauley-Stein tonight. Chris is the value PF flavor of the night.
2. Serge Ibaka ($7,000 FD) Again we have the Raptors most likely 30 minutes to Ibaka against the Cavs tonight. Solid cash PF.
3. UPDATE: MILSAP IN. NO LONGER ON GRANT Jerami Grant ($4,200 FD) No Milsap tonight. Grant got 33 minutes last game without Milsap and didn’t even start. He is a solid PPM guy and he is another quality spend down at PF tonight.

12/10 NBA DFS Center

1. Nikola Jokic ($9,300 FD) Difficult matchup for him but he is playing at a stud level once again recently. He will be the highest scoring center tonight.
2. Tristan Thompson ($6,400 FD) against Raptors who are down a couple of big men. No Love would help him a lot.
3. Steven Adams ($6,200 FD) Solid price
