JTHOMSON’S NBA DFS Friday Night Targets!

James Thomson makes his Win Daily Sports debut with this NBA DFS post.

My NBA targets can be used in both cash games and GPP’s. The risky plays are to be used as GPP dart throws. I am using the DraftKings salaries for all of my targets.

#1 TARGET: JAMES HARDEN (12,100)

He has a massive usage rate (46%), a huge assist percentage (45%), and 1.81 fantasy points per minute (FPPM) with Westbrook out. In a very fast-paced NBA game versus the Suns, which are 10th in pace. I will be jamming Harden in my lineups.

#2 TARGET: ENES KANTER (4,400)

In two NBA matchups against the Hawks, he played 16 and 24 minutes, producing 20 and 34 fantasy points. He has a smash matchup averaging 1.25 FPPM versus the very bad rebounding 28th ranked defense. He could easily hit 35-40 fantasy points.

#3 TARGET: KRISTAPS PORZINIS (8,800)

In the last three games without Luka Doncic, Zinger has played 36, 36, and 29 minutes, producing 56, 59, and 60 fantasy points. He has a 1.45 usage rate, 30% assist percentage, and an 18% rebound percentage. Bigs versus the fast-paced lousy defense of the Wizards has been one of my favorite NBA targets all year.

#4 TARGET: GORAN DRAGIC (5,300)

Dragic starting or coming off the bench is a high usage NBA player. With all of the heats injuries, he could be in a great spot for more run and minutes tonight. Miami will have to run a tight rotation with only 8 or 9 available players.

#5 TARGET: DONOVAN MITCHELL (6,900)

In the previous two games versus Portland, Mitchell has averaged 42 fantasy points per game. He is in a great matchup versus Portland, who is 11th in pace in the NBA and has the 26th ranked defense.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo (8,200),

Christian Wood (6,000),

Kendrick Nunn (4,800),

Myles Turner (4,600)(GPP).

SLATE SUMMARY

Today’s eight-game NBA slate could get a little tricky. There is already a lot of value that can be used to build a stars and scrubs lineup. I will be jamming harden into at least half of my lineups and using the Miami heat players for value. On the other half of my lineups, I will be using mid-range options to build a balanced lineup. Good luck today, and don’t forget to come back and WIN DAILY!
