Lee-Ann has been in the affiliate marketing space for over 15 years and has seen it all. She has even helped produce and publish publications about the topic across multiple mediums.
Understanding what it takes for affiliate marketing industry to thrive, Lee-Ann helps all three sides of the equation become better at what they do. The product or service company is the one trying to acquire a new customer, the marketer or the publisher that is influencing the buyer, and the customer that is checking out a new product.
Many publishers live on the affiliate marketing model to make sure that they can drive revenue for the gaming companies and themselves. Through this conversation we start to understand where everyone fits in this model. The gaming companies get a new customers, the publishers get a kick back, and the customers get a discount to try out a new product. This win-win-win method is what keeps many gaming companies and publishers afloat.
We also discuss influencer marketing and how it was the next iteration of affiliate marketing. Essentially, someone say why they like a product, their fan base is interested in trying that product, they use the influencers discount code, and the company gets a new customer!
