Thursday Night Football DFS – Value and Punt Plays
For the punt plays on this slate the cheapest you can go to includes Tavon Austin ($1,200) who is coming off his second-best game of the season with five targets. With Tony Pollard questionable and if he were to miss, perhaps we will see more handoffs or end-around to Austin with Jamize Olawale the only other active running back on the Cowboys. The Bears tight end position has been completely irrelevant all season, up until last week until Jesper Horstead ($2,000) found the end zone on Thanksgiving on his only target. He is nothing more than DFS dart-throw punt play on a Thursday night slate. Javon Wims ($3,200) also had his best game of the season last week in the absence of Taylor Gabriel with five receptions on six targets for 56 yards. With the majority leaning towards Anthony Miller ($7,000) Wims provides great salary relief. The Cowboys have allowed the sixth-most red-zone targets to wide receivers this season and are dealing with a plethora of injuries on defense.
Thursday Night Football DFS – Favorite Stacks
With the Cowboys on the road, I am perfectly fine having lower exposure to Amari Cooper. So may favorite Cowboys stack involves Dak Prescott ($10,800), Ezekiel Elliott ($11,200), and Michael Gallup ($8,200). Cooper’s home/road splits are just so bad with him scoring 27.5 points per game at home and just 8.4 points per game on the road. The Bears have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to receivers this season and at home, only Stefon Diggs and Michael Thomas have gone over 100 yards versus them. Then you add-in the Dallas Cowboys DST ($4,400) to complete a Dallas onslaught with them favorites on the road. I prefer them over the Bears because of the Cowboys ranking third-best in turnover giveaways on the road. Start with the Cowboys as the core plays and then bring it back with a few value Bears players. Tarik Cohen ($6,600) is one of my favorites as he will see more work if the Bears are trailing. The Cowboys have allowed the sixth-most receptions to the position this season.
Monday Night Football DFS – Contrarian Plays
Going heavy on Bears players would be the more contrarian play. Also fading Anthony Miller ($7,000) after his amazing Thanksgiving output will give you some serious leverage at the position. With, Miller potentially being so popular that could suppress ownership for Allen Robinson ($9,600) who is averaging 18.9 fantasy points per game at home. He has not played a home game in which he has scored less than 11 fantasy points.
