I have multiple large GPP take downs across the 3 core daily fantasy sports. MLB and NFL are two of my favorite sports. I am a Baltimore native, born and raised. My favorite sports teams are the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, and Denver Nuggets. Tonight we have a 5 game main slate on both Fanduel and Draftkings. So without further ado, let’s dig in.
Atlanta Braves @ Washington Nationals

Atlanta Braves – Mike Foltynewicz (RHP) takes the mound tonight carrying a 5.53 ERA, 6.04 FIP, and 1.34 WHIP on the season. Folty is allowing .355 wOBA, .323 OBP, and .542 SLG. His splits are nearly identical, although he is giving up 48% hard contact to righties. Braves batters average .338 wOBA, .193 ISO, and .309 BABIP on the season. They are hitting well above their season averages currently with .395 wOBA, .268 ISO, and .337 BABIP to righties. I really love this Atlanta lineup tonight. They have been pretty hot and Anibal isn’t exactly Cy Young material.

Washington Nationals – Anibal Sanchez (RHP) is on the mound for the Nats tonight carrying a 3.84 ERA, 4.53 FIP, and 1.36 WHIP. Sanchez is allowing .304 wOBA, .315 OBP, and .412 SLG on the year. His splits are true to handedness as he tends to struggle more with left handed batters. Sanchez averages .374 wOBA, .354 OBP, and .566 SLG through 27.1 innings pitched. Nationals batters are hitting above their season average currently with .348 wOBA, .251 ISO, and .513 SLG to righties. I intend to have some game stack exposure here in GPP’s, as I also like the pitching match up for the Nats.

Ryu gives up slightly more to righties, but fairs well with .238 wOBA .238 OBP, and .321 SLG through 68 innings pitched. Ryu hasn’t allowed an ERA over 3.00 in the last nine starts, five of which he allowed no runs. Dodgers batters are currently hitting slightly below their season averages with .331 wOBA, .191 ISO, and .296 BABIP to righties over last two weeks.

Houston Astros @ New York Yankees

Houston Astros – Wade Miley (LHP) faces a Yankees lineup that is nearly back to full health. Miley carries a 3.30 ERA, 4.29 FIP, and 1.19 WHIP on the year. His splits are nearly identical on the season, averaging a respectable .296 wOBA, .298 OBP, and .393 SLG. Houston batters are hitting below their season averages recently with .304 wOBA, .159 ISO, and .390 SLG to righties. Masahiro Tanaka is my GPP pivot to Hyun-jin Ryu due to injury woes in the Astros lineup.
Preferred Plays: Yordan Alvarez, Michael Brantley, and Alex Bregman. Hedge with Wade Miley in deeper GPP’s
New York Yankees – Masahiro Tanaka (RHP) faces a depleted Astros lineup tonight. Even with Jose Altuve back in the lineup I consider Tanaka a top play on the slate. Tanaka is sporting a 3.23 ERA, 3.76 FIP, and 1.10 WHIP on the year. He is allowing .329 wOBA, .310 OBP, and .475 SLG to lefties this season. Yankees batters are hitting above their season averages with .332 wOBA, .189 ISO, .275 BABIP, and .432 SLG to lefties.
Preferred Plays: Masahiro Tanka, Gary Sanchez, Edwin Encarnacion, Giancarlo Stanton, and GLeyber Torres.
Chicago White Sox @ Texas Rangers

Chicago White Sox – Odrisamer Despaigne (RHP) takes the mound tonight in Texas. No one is reinventing the wheel with this play tonight but Texas will be a key cog in lineups. Be creative and differentiate in tournaments. Despaigne has been downright atrocious thus far. He has an 8,71 ERA, 5.11 FIP, and 2.13 WHIP on the season. His splits are nearly identical with .416 wOBA, .442 OBP, and .545 SLG. White Sox batters are hitting below their season averages currently with .289 wOBA, .189 ISO, and .238 BABIP to righties. Bats do get a boost here in Texas.
Preferred Plays: Eloy Jimenez, Yoan Moncada, James McCann, and Jose Abreu.
Texas Rangers – Lance Lynn (RHP) takes the mound carrying a 4.16 ERA, 3.00 FIP, and 1.29 WHIP on the season. Lynn has identical splits, allowing .312 wOBA, .316 OBP, and .416 SLG. Rangers batters are hitting close to their season averages currently with .313 wOBA, .182 ISO, and .314 BABIP to righties. Texas will be extremely popular tonight so make sure you differentiate in GPP’s.
