The Travelers Championship Preview
My reports for The Travelers Championship Preview concentrate on ownership %, it’s one of the key metrics to winning 1 million dollars. This weeks winner again had two golfers with an average of just over 6 %, (you need two that range from 5 to 8 %) and the total ownership for his entire team was 13.76 % (your entire team should range between 12-18%) He blew away his competition. You can as well.
Imagine a NASCAR race between two drivers, one driver is a 30% owned golfer, and your driver is 2.5% owned. They both score the same points.
You would lap the 30% owned driver 12 times in the race. That’s how powerful it is.
Of course there would be multiple wrecks, golfers can’t drive on an oval at 200 MPH.
Golfers I’m targeting for tomorrow
Dylan Frittelli 7100
Dylan shot a blistering 62 on Sunday, and had an excellent week finishing 8th. His metrics didn’t leap off the page, they exploded off of it. This is a 6800 yard course, similar (Pete Dye) to last weeks. It will be interesting to see if this is a one off, or if Dylan has found the sweet spot.
Sungjae Im 8600
His price dropped this week, not as much as his strokes lost putting, over 4 strokes lost to the field. Ouch. He missed the cut, the fact remains he is an elite ball striker and he may have the putter back in gear.
Bubba Watson 8800
Yes, that Bubba. His play the last two weeks has been solid. You may be surprised to know Bubba has won this tournament three times since 2010, the last in 2018. His eye likes the look of this course.
Doc Redman 6700
Doc was ranked 8th overall in strokes gained tee to green. With all that star power at the top, and he shows up 8th? I’m tracking him as a possible core player for the same type of course, with that salary, he is just the kind of candidate you want for the millions.
I will have a much more detailed report early tomorrow evening once ownership % are on lock. I, and the other writers, will be on the Expert Discord Chat following the reports to answer any questions, and as always I hope to be with you, in the money.
