This week I’m still on the beach looking out at a azure blue Caribbean ocean in Placencia, Belize, whatever stress or cortisol levels you had in the States disappears within an hour, guaranteed. It’s a great place to bring you the John Deere Ownership Projections. We are still bringing you top content from a nation that loves to fish and doesn’t know a lot about Golf DFS. I told a fisherman that this week I was concentrating on content for the John Deere Classic, and my specialty was ownership. He said he had a friend who was a farmer that owned a John Deere to help with his corn crop, and he could understand that golfers could play in the corn field after they helped his friend bring in the corn. It’s a work in progress.

Balancing Work and Vacations

The only stress I feel is making sure I get the content out on time for The Win Daily Sports family to make informed decisions on their John Deere golf teams and contests before lock, and to escape serious repercussions from my editor. EDITORS NOTE: It has been scientifically proven that restricting access to food and water and the occasional waterboarding are effective and proven methods for employee motivation. (I think my editor misses his previous position as chief interrogator of the Soviet KGB…smile)

Horses For Courses

The prize pony for this tourney, Daniel Berger, has withdrawn. Webb Simpson and Adam Hadwin are the next favorites to take the trophy at the John Deere. The following are crew notes from my P.A. team that reminds me on every zoom that they are NOT on vacation.

The King of TPC Deere Run is Zack Johnson. He has one of the best records for a four year run here that includes a championship, 2 seconds and a third. The only drawback is this run started in 2012 which was 10 years ago. In that ten year span Zack has never missed a cut although his best outing in his last three starts was a 16th. Depending on ownership, he could be a cash game staple.

Charlie Three sticks, better known as Charles Howell lll has been a cut maker as well, making the weekend in his last six attempts including three straight 23rd’s or better.

.Adam Schenk in his last two attempts here has a 4th and a 6th place finish.

Lucas glover and Adam Hadwin have had some good history here although it dates back to 2016-17.

Other targets we are tracking are Adam Long, Matt Wallace, David Lipsky and Patrick Rodgers.

Let’s take a look at The John Deere Ownership Projections to assist you with roster construction and team building.

Be sure to check out Spencer’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. Spencer’s intricate detailed model intel is the best in the industry. Stix and Spencer took the week of this week, I guess if you can help your subscribers and yourselves to over 100K in winnings in a month, you at least deserve that.

Don’t forget to tune in to The DraftCast, hosted by Joel and featuring Sia and Spencer and the surprise guest who drops by to battle you, the audience, for supremacy on the draft board. It’s every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST and is fun, engaging, educational and often leads to threats of thievery of players and possible playful litigation from all involved. Show up, tune in, and help your audience win the week with the best team on the board!

This week it was announced that the audience won. Again. With Spencer out for the DraftCast it looked like easy pickings for the steamrolling audience picks, but Joel, Deep Dive Dave and Sia came up with some solid teams. Sia, who has a law degree, ran through the scene where Jack Nicholson is on the stand in A Few Good Men at five times normal speed. I played it backwards and it was a recording of the Beatles saying, “Sia has perfect hair” over and over. It was when Nicholson as a Marine Colonel bellows out, “you want the truth? You can’t handle the truth!” As a retired Force Recon Marine we saw over 30 of the 79 terrorists groups during my tours and deployment. Most people don’t want to know how we make sure they sleep well at night and that’s fine by us. The United States Marine Corps has been offering enemies of America an equal opportunity to die for their country since 1775. Let’s just say business was booming, (smile) and we’ll leave it at that. Semper Fi, and thanks Sia. Well done sir.

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock! coming

This week I’m on the beach looking out at a azure blue Caribbean ocean in Placencia, Belize, the best kept secret in the world hands down. Last weeks Milly winner had Denny “putts” McCarthy in the lineup at an obscenely low ownership that propelled him to a million dollar payday, it’s why I am keying on this weeks Travelers Ownership Projections. The tourney is in Cromwell, CT so it’s a semi home game for Keegan Bradley. Justin Thomas has withdrawn due to a real back injury and not because of LIV zero’s behind the first number on a check. He was more worried about Morikawa putting milk in his cereal bowl first than Mori jumping ship to LIV. Those two are staying home.

Balancing Work and Vacations

This report will be shorter for obvious reasons and please know that the Caribbean nations internet speed depends on whether the squirrels got either fed or eaten this morning.

A New Type Of Intelligence

Recently I spent high five figures on upgrading our system to AI capabilities. So far I have been told that patience is a virtue when it comes to learning a new system, the problem is I have no virtues except wanting you all to beat DK into bankruptcy by taking down every contest they throw at us. It came up with something interesting. Sam Burns has placed 1st, 2nd and 1st the week after a major (We consider The Players a fifth major) regardless of how he finishes in the major. Its a small sample pattern but we aren’t talking a 24th, 21st and 14th. No, It’s first, second, and first again the week after. He was a fade until now for us. He’s made three straight cuts here and finished higher than the year before each time. Patrick Cantlay rates out third in our A.I. model as well, although the value program has him 14th. HV lll and S. Power showed up well, and Davis Riley ranked very high in the AI program but was abysmal for safety. Charley Hoffman ranks as a great value before ownership is factored in.

Let’s take a look at The Travelers Ownership Projections to assist you with roster construction and team building.

These projections for The Travelers are accurate as of 6:53 EST. Top Tier Golfers may show a higher % by lock.

Be sure to check out Spencer’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. Spencer’s intricate detailed model intel is the best in the industry. In the last three weeks they’ve helped themselves and listeners to almost 80K in real money winnings. Stix went 150 Max in the Milly Maker, he ended up drinking in the Vegas Casino’s so you’ll have to tune in to see if it was a celebration or an abomination.

This week the audience again won the DraftCast. They are a juggernaut group steaming towards the top and making the perennial favorite Spencer very nervous. You do not want a nervous Spencer in your rear view mirror. Sia, in a stunning moment of humble humility, took all the credit for last weeks audience win and then greatly assisted the audience when they needed a gentle nudge. Joel had his reserved normal picks that will probably blow this week away, and guest appearance titan Scotty, who informed of us a video where Spencer is tracking about 20 golf stat sites on line and in the background is a Porn Hub link, when it was mentioned in the audience text, all of a sudden there were numerous bots touting sex websites that Sia shut down immediately, or at least all the bad ones anyway. Johnny Carson once asked Zsa Zsa Gabor how she helped her husbands golf game. She replied, “when we are out on the driving range, I wash his balls so he can practice better.” Carson replied, “I imagine that would make anyone’s putter stand out.”

This week we are at St. George’s, a top rated course in Canada that will host The Canadian Open. It will be the first time since 2010 that this course has hosted the country’s top golf tourney. Adam Schenk, a pre tourney low range favorite, has withdrawn as well as notables Patrick Reed, CT Pan and Pat Perez. Reed is heading to the LIV, he was once known as Captain America, he will now be known as the Sheik of Aribique. This is a short course that will reward good ball strikers and on the mark approach shots. I would also look at sand saves for the golfers you are considering, the greens are smaller and surrounded by bunkers, lot’s of bunkers. They have also let the rough “flourish” and word is if you miss the fairway you will be hard pressed to make par. It seems like a tough but fair venue to bring back The Canadian Open to it’s home country after Covid disrupted it the last few years.

O’ Canada

I spent years as a car dealer and then went to work with GM’s IT Department when they were building Onstar Canada, their wifi, bluetooth and all IT access at the push of a button. It worked fine at the population centers close to the border but Canada has lots of tunnels, mountains and thick vegetation overhanging the less populated areas. I remember a Canadian man calling in and telling me he had set the GPS for his trip to visit his wife’s sister Edna who had a house in the outlaying suburbs. He said, “there may be a small issue with the GPS eh? It says we are at Edna’s but there is a lake about 100 feet in front of our vehicle and a big moose is licking our windshield.” I was going to ask if Edna resembled a big moose but thought better of it. We got them on their way, coverage is now superior there and the thing that struck me is he wasn’t angry, frustrated or acting entitled. Canadians are naturally warm, non confrontational and eager to help anyone in need, maybe it’s all those tasty treats at Tim Horton’s. They are expecting overflow crowds with lot’s of enthusiasm for this weeks contest. This week hole 16 will be the “Rink” hole in a nod to the stadium hole in Phoenix, it will be surrounded by “hockey boards” and fans will be right on the hole in “penalty boxes.” Players have already warmed to the idea and will be throwing jerseys and swag at the crowd.

The Competition

There is another tournament in London this week featuring new members Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson. Phil got two hundred million up front, DJ received 125 million. Tiger Woods turned down close to a billion dollars -“no thanks, I have a few of those already”. Without getting political, capitalism will overcome human rights every single time, and I can’t fault golfers for opting for financial security not just for themselves, but for their great grandchildren. It’s that kind of money. You could also argue that this new venture is nothing more than a retirement package for over the hill golfers and journeymen that haven’t reached the success of their competition, regardless, at present ticket sales for the inaugural event are sorely lagging, and a disappointment at present to the event organizers. Time will tell if they can win over the paying public, and the backers of this new venture have billions more to burn through. The tourney will not be broadcast on TV or Cable, it will be livestreamed for those who need to watch.

Whether it’s weather

We have had two majors so far and both have been affected by weather, not nominally, but severely. Other tourneys have had the same issues with high winds and some form of altering weather pattern that has disrupted the waves of golfers vying for a trophy. I have a friend at a national weather service who told me this will become the normal rather than an anomaly and the conditions will continue to become more extreme. In choosing your teams make sure you know what the weather has planned for your golf groups and act accordingly.

Another key metric for taking down a contest at The Canadian Open is ownership. Last week I had a team that was left with four golfers after the cut and it cashed because my average ownership was 11%. That leverage got me a green screen and with 6/6 could be the difference between a top 25 and a takedown.

Let’s take a look at The Canadian Open Ownership Projections to assist you with roster construction and team building.

Be sure to check out Spencer’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. This weeks show featured The Model Maniac who did admirably as Stix was savoring his big win from last week. Listen, last week Spence and Stix combined for almost 40 units in profits. 40 UNITS. In. One. Week. I know golf gamblers that are thrilled if they show +40 units…in a year! These titans did it with 51 weeks left over to do more major damage. Do your wallet a big favor and check these icons out. A five dollar player would be up 200, a 100 dollar player would be up 4 grand. Add the 74,000 they won for their listeners the previous two weeks and that’s almost eighty grand in 21 days. Wow.

Don’t forget to tune in to The DraftCast, hosted by Joel and featuring Sia and Spencer and the surprise guest who drops by to battle you, the audience, for supremacy on the draft board. It’s every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST and is fun, engaging, educational and often leads to threats of thievery of players and possible litigation from all involved. Show up, tune in, and help your audience win the week with the best team on the board!

Last night there was almost a Smith- gate but it turned out to be harmless. Joel won last week and he and Deep Dive Dave and Spencer made some solid choices. Sia wasn’t in the booth but was suspiciously lurking in the audience which made everyone nervous, especially the top shelf panel making picks. Even though Sia is an esteemed member of the bar, you all have seen how cutthroat he can be when choosing his teams. I remember once that someone looking quite flustered burst into our small county courthouse and asked, “Is there a criminal attorney in this town ?” The judge replied, “yes, but we haven’t been able to prove it yet.”

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock!

See Jack. See Jack win 18 majors. See Tiger. See Tiger chase Jack’s record. See Tiger run. Oops, Tiger can’t even walk right, much less run. See Jack build Muirfield. See Jack frustrate the world’s greatest golfers. See Jack smile. See Jack laugh.

We are at Muirfield Village for The Memorial, a course that Jack built that mimics a major without being one. This is an invite only 120 golfer field that challenges them as far as fierce competition and the course. If you can’t hit fairways on a consistent basis you won’t be around on Saturday. Accuracy, approach and the around the green game are crucial to success here. Also not testing positive for Covid on a Saturday evening while 6 strokes ahead helps as well.

Damn that Ram

Jon Rahm blew away the competition two years running but only won once. He caught Covid at The Memorial and threw a positive test on a Saturday with a commanding lead and was forced to withdraw allowing Cantlay to take the trophy at The Memorial. When he did win he was assessed a two stroke penalty when a 4K-HD camera barely caught a blade of grass moving his ball when he was in his practice stance. He still had strokes to spare and won easily, He also cost our own golf staff legend Joel the 200K first prize with the penalty and Joel had to settle for second place.

The Determination Elation.

It’s incredibly difficult to win on the PGA tour. Scheffler three putted 18 to win at The Masters. We just saw Mito break up with just one hole to go on the 18th at the PGA. Burns was an afterthought until he rolled in an off the green putt to beat Scottie in an improbable playoff win, which netted Sia an 85-1 hit on Burns! Harold Varner lll was tied for the lead until the double bogey or worse showed up, maybe it was the very strong winds, in the future if two fans in the gallery cough towards HV lll, I will be off him in an instant. The Memorial may offer up the same surprises…

I’d die for a “buckeye”

…as long as they have the “Buckeye” milkshake, the absolute favorite of the golfers and fans at Muirfield Village. The golfers actually complained when they had two tourneys back to back at Muirfield and would only serve it at The Memorial. Morikawa was depressed after he won The Memorial in that he hadn’t been offered the delicacy. It was sitting there all along, behind his winners trophy.

Winning versus Whining.

Whoever said winning isn’t everything hasn’t taken down a large DK GPP. Of course you can whine about the taxes you owe Uncle Sam while thanking your lucky stars that a golfer who never hits a shank just did to catapult your team into first place. There may be a tiny bit of luck involved, we try and take out the guesswork and the Leprechaun to bring you actionable data that wins you cold hard cash. One way we do this is with The Memorial Ownership projections which are built to offer you leverage and pivots to move you to the top of the Draftkings contests..

Lets take a look at this weeks Memorial Ownership projections to help you with your teambuilding and roster construction.

Be sure to check out Spencer’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. It only took them two weeks to rack up 74K for two of their subscribers. If you listen in it could be you cashing that 50K ticket this week in GPP or that 440-1 longshot named Chan Kim, he’s not a secret, I think he’s actually related to Stix, just like Webb Simpson is Spencer’s brother in law, or is that Jason Day? Just know that these two titans have the “family secrets” to get you to the pay window pronto with huge knockout payouts. Invest in a Q-tip and listen to their podcast. Collect your winnings. It’s really that easy.

The audience won last weeks DraftCast shootout even after Sia had pilfered a few picks from the audience. They were ready this week and had their picks and placements ready before Joel could say Go! Spencer’s incredible breakdown almost didn’t happen after the audience put him last in the snakedraft. He probably didn’t mind being way down at the end since pit vipers like to strike from a distance. Sia didn’t steal too much this week, he was probably on his best behavior after being on CBS Vegas and using lawyer speak to weigh in on the Dustin Johnson move to the LIV. The first time we see him with a kaffiyeh (turban) on the DraftCast you will know his checks are cashed in Dubai. The word is DJ got 100 million for his abandoning the PGA, Sia will easily command twice that. Double Down Dave assisted the audience with some sterling plays while dreaming of a Kiwi encrusted iguana pizza from yours truly, being from Texas means I can probably slip a horned frog in there in lieu of the crunchy lizard, although I wouldn’t hold that pizza for very long…..

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock!

We are back in Texas for The Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial. Last week several golfers called the course at Southern Hills “Colonial on steroids.” Perry Maxwell designed this course and he also designed Southern Hills and the courses are similar. Golfers who are tops in ball striking and SGA (strokes gained approach) will do very well here. The past winners have ranked fourth or better in those metrics.

Whether to trust the weather.

Last week the weather played havoc on the second major in a row. First the Masters and now the PGA had wild weather swings. The Win Daily golf staff was able to warn all our DFS golf family to the preferred splits, the irony is the golfer that won was from the bad weather split. Mito Pereira would like a do over on 18, Rory would like the birdie try on 18 over again, and Justin Thomas is just glad it’s over.

Shrinking Prices

With heavyweight power at the top of the pricing tier, the Charles Schwab ownership projections will allow you to gain leverage and allow for pivots to cheaper chalk. This week DraftKings pricing is decent and fair. I fully expected Brian Harman’s salary to go up three grand but it didn’t. One reason is the Texas posse is heading back across the red river, we are talking about Spieth, Scheffler and Zalatoris, who are planning on teeing it up at Colonial along with JT who took it all down for his second PGA. Justin was asked if Tiger, a dear friend of his, would have comments on JT’s victory. JT smiled and said he would razz him on his hozzle miss hit on the 6th, would berate him for missing the birdie putt at 18 to have to get into a playoff to begin with, and finally that Tiger would say, Good for you! Only 153 more PGA wins to get even with me!

The 19th Hole or the Therapist Couch

One of the keys my game theory tech shared with us was the lingering effects on the PGA Championship major contenders. All of them are teeing it up Thursday. Can JT, with all his come from behind heroics, his 2nd PGA ( special to him because his dad is a PGA pro) and all the media he is contracted to speak too, will that allow him to reset for this week? Will Z should have the easiest pathway back, he now knows he can contend on any course at anytime. Mito will either blow right past his 18th hole collapse and find victory at Colonial, or show up at the first tee and blow chunks all over the PGA announcer.

Lets take a look at this weeks Charles Schwab ownership projections to help you with your teambuilding and roster construction.

Be sure to check out Spenser’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. One of the subscribers to the podcast hit for 24 thousand this week for the PGA, last week a subscriber hit for 50 thousand. 74 thousand in two weeks, just for listening to a golf podcast. I like to listen to it on Tuesday nights after the DraftCast. Find a better money making podcast and I won’t even wait,…. you can’t. Period. The money is there, all you need is a pair of ears and a short period of time to drown out the noise and listen to Stix and Spencer. Their content is platinum, and I can give you 74,000 reasons why.

Don’t miss out on the very popular and fun PGA DraftCast with Joel, Sia, (aka Mr. Hair) and Spencer (golf writer of the year) and you, the audience, every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST! There was no Deki-gate this week. Sia endeared himself to the audience by pilfering a few picks they were discussing, all is fair in the war known as DraftCast. The audience was considering legal action which is pretty normal in this litigious society but then found out they would be going up against the Percy Foreman of Florida, Mr. Sia Najad, Esquire. In all fairness he said he mentioned J.J. Spaun on another show on Monday, even if what he allegedly said was, “Spaun is a clown and belongs in the circus, not on the golf course.” EDITORS NOTE: Sia did NOT say that! Joel won last week due to no one withdrawing on his team and some pretty savvy picks. Double Down Dave, drooling from some dynamite picks and thinking of being owed a pizza by yours truly navigated some tricky waters for the audience and they came through with some decent golfers. Spencer isn’t used to losing and worked his way through the pilfering crisis to put a solid team together. Check out the teams on Twitter as well as Sia’s twitter pick for the Outright and FRL markets.

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock!

We are in Southern Hills located in Tulsa for the second major of the year, The PGA Championship. Most of you will see a course very much like Augusta with undulating and elevated greens, long sloping hills and a creek that was redesigned to run through the course and be prominent on 16 holes. Acclaimed award winning Gil Hanse did a complete historic renovation in 2017. At the time the 2022 PGA was scheduled at Trump’s Bedminster New Jersey golf club. The date and venue were changed after January 6th.

After the incident at the Capital occurred the PGA decided to distance themselves from the publicity and moved it to Southern Hills. It’s a course that all players love, most have it in their top 5 and when you watch it just remember how well it plays on TV, very much like Augusta. The winds are supposed to show up in a major way and the only thing stopping high winds in Oklahoma are barbed wire fences. It’s why the cows always look cold there.

The Birdie Festival

TPC Lee won the Byron Nelson at 26 under after a fast close by Jordan Spieth who finished second. I found out that the competition committee was over watering the greens every night and on more than several holes they moved the tee boxes up as much as 40 yards so the course didn’t play at 7500 yards. A birdie fest is great to draw ratings but whatever happened to penalizing a bad shot?

The Byron Nelson set a PGA record for over 2200 birdies last week. Xander had a phenomenal day of golf and was the leader at -23 early in the afternoon. Imagine knowing that no matter how many errant shots that may follow, there was no way he could win. The worst anyone could do was par, it was just a matter of who got the most eagles and birdies coming in. Lee played a superb round and deserved the victory. Lets hope this week that good or great shots are rewarded and not just every single shot they play.

Wait until they get to the 18th hole at Southern Hills! It’s one of the hardest holes in golf. It takes two pristine shots to just get on the green, if you do not hit the green you will bogey at best in most circumstances. It will be a change of pace to see where par is a rewarded score for a very tough hole.

Last Week

I had a solid week with Deki, Palmer and Munoz and used Vegas and Taylor Moore as well. Taylor was my frisky risky biscuit play, had a low salary and was owned by less than half of one percent, He finished 32nd at -16, and I hit the first round leader S. Munoz, who was also my low tier play of the week as well. You can see this weeks picks for The PGA Championship below the ownership projections.

The Mob Hit At Southern Hills

Very few people know that back in 1981 a Tulsa businessman and owner of World Jai Alai named Roger Wheeler was executed in the parking lot right next to the Southern Hills clubhouse. He was shot once between the eyes and once in the back of the head, a signature style hit from the notorious Boston gangster Whitey Bulger. He was executed after finishing his weekly round at Southern Hills. The moral to this story is if you play a round with a mobster I highly recommend you let him win, it’s so much better for your health status…..smile.

Weather

The winds are coming to Southern Hills. On Thursday winds sustained at 17 with gusts to 20. Possible rain Thursday night. On Friday and Saturday sustained winds at 17 and gusts to 20-25 with possible scattered rain Friday afternoon. All three days the winds will be from the south. On Sunday we get 9 mph winds that will be coming from multiple directions, mostly easterly which means crosswinds but at least they will be minimal compared to the other days. It seems as if the wind won’t be as severe as earlier predictions. We will continue to monitor the weather and bring you updates in Discord right up to lock. There is still an early am/ late pm advantage, but it’s less than originally anticipated.

The Tiger Tale

Tiger Woods issued a brief statement after his round where the gallery was 6 to 7 deep….for a practice round. He said that he was a month from the Masters and his leg was much stronger and he had been practicing golf since. Basically he was saying his leg was stronger. His ownership shot up 4 points within an hour. Our projections on him will be accurate but I advise you to add 10-13% to his projection before lock. Why? He’s Tiger Woods.

The Intriguing Trend

It’s interesting to note that in the last 5 PGA Championships the leader on Friday night has gone on to win The PGA Championship. If your favorite golfer is sitting on top after Friday’s round, you may want to make an additional live wager based on this trend.

Lets take a look at The PGA Championship Ownership Projections to help you choose your player pools and roster selections.

Be sure to check out Spenser’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. Why? They had a subscriber listen in last week and he won $50,000. He had three players make the cut on the number, one, Fitzpatrick, double bogeyed the next to last hole to go two over the cutline, he came back and Eagled the last hole to make it to the weekend. He did not have K H Lee or Spieth in his lineup and he still took the takedown. You all know I implore you to listen in to this informative money making podcast, and now you know why.

Don’t miss out on the very popular and fun PGA DraftCast with Joel, Sia, (aka Mr. Hair) and Spencer (golf writer of the year) and you, the audience, every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST! Deki-gate strikes again! Last night in the DraftCast there was more controversy when the new man, Deep Dive Dave, talked up Hideki to the audience, then took him with his first pick. This was after he mentioned he didn’t want Sia stealing his picks. He looked very sharp, like he just stepped out of a board meeting, and has the chops to back it up. I have seen Golf forecasters come and go in seven years of betting DFS golf, Dave is the real deal. His deep diving (thus the name) is based on science and numbers, he is what I call a true grinder, leaving no stone unturned and bringing solid intel to the WDS nation. His expertise in the foreign markets as well as domestic will assist you all with your DK accounts getting fatter, and he is a welcome addition to a very strong golf staff. Read his breakdowns in the PGA research tab, in the meantime I plan on getting pizza from New Zealand very soon, I understand the Kiwi/Kangaroo is very tasty!

Spencer won last week, again, it would be news but it’s like saying the sun rose again today. The audience has had a hand in stopping the streak, with Joel and Sia applying pressure every week. I won five bucks on the over with Lindsay’s exclamation marks when Will Z was picked, and I’m ducking Ivan who is looking for royalties for being mentioned in my article.

It’s PGA major week, this is a tough fair course, may you all get 6/6 through for your big contests.

**UPDATE** Bryson has withdrawn (after speaking with Casey) and Hideki is dealing with a sore neck. We will update in Discord on his condition.

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock!

Yee Haw! Welcome to Texas and The Byron Nelson by AT&T. This weeks venue is at TPC King Ranch, it’s just a tiny hop from next weeks PGA major in Tulsa, the second major of the year and one of the reasons this field is loaded much more than normal. This field has plenty of home state talent to cheer including Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth and Will Zalatoris along with Ryan Palmer and Dylan Frittelli among the more notable players from the Lone Star State.

This tourney is a little tougher to handicap, the soft pricing is due to all the talent scheduled to tee off, and at the same time a lot of the top tier talent spent time at Southern Hills this week playing practice rounds, which suggests that it may be more important to the people who aren’t invited to Southern Hills next week and they realize this is the here and now for them and they won’t be practicing shots for the PGA major, they are just trying to win The Byron Nelson.

Last year K.H. Lee won with a -25 under par. The rest of the top 10 was littered with non marquee names like Kizzire, Schwartzel, Stallings, Merritt, Bramlett and Redman. Bronson Burgoon and Luke Donald were just outside the top 10. That’s 70% of players that never made it out of the 7 K salary range, Burns, Berger and Spieth are names that you normally see who also made the top 10 and please note that Berger isn’t playing this years tourney.

Lets take a look at The The Byron Nelson Final Ownership Projections to help you choose your player pools and roster selections.

Be sure to check out Spenser’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. Stix had to work at his real 40 hour job this week, (not the hundred hours he pours over his ‘hobby” which is DFS sports).Spencer did an admirable job on his own coming in at just over 17 minutes, if you want to double your DK cash account, spent 17 minutes and listen to this podcast, pure manna from heaven, and a good way to increase that bankroll.

Don’t miss out on the very popular and fun PGA DraftCast with Joel, (Joe Nicely from RB subbed for Sia, did an excellent job) and Spencer (golf writer of the year) and you, the audience, every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST!

STOP THE PRESSES ! You won’t believe this but we now have DEKI- GATE, Sia was on a plane last night so he missed the livestream, kind of. He weighed in and helped the audience from 40,000 feet until it got to the last two picks, first it was Deki/ Wu, then after much hand wringing, Joel, benevolent Joel, scratched those two picks and allowed the audience to pick Adam Scott and Patton Kizzire. Then he got jumped on for allowing the change and anarchy prevailed. New rules for next week: No boxing gloves or gladiator weapons allowed on the livestream! Everyone is going to see who would have done better during the tourney, who is your choice ? Would you take Deki/ Dylan Wu or Scott/Kizzire? Let us know in Discord! The over under on Lindsay using caps and exclamation points was a paltry 225, everyone chose over. There was an alleged producer from ESPN 30/30 wanting to get involved, and Ivan proclaimed who he wanted to play himself in the upcoming Deki-Gate movie, and we all agreed Ryan Reynolds should play Sia’s part because…the hair, the looks. By the way, say Happy Birthday to Sia in Discord regardless of what pair you wanted. He works tirelessly and is dedicated to making Win Daily Sports, and especially the Win Daily Golf content the best on the planet. Happy Birthday Mr. Hair!

This week we are at another first time venue for The Wells Fargo at TPC Potomac. The venue did host the Quicken Loans National back in 2017 and 2018 so if you like history that’s five years old you have plenty of data. This course rewards accuracy more than driving distance so it’s not how far you can smoke the ball from the tee, its how many fairways you can hit and then be accurate with the expected long (175-200) approach shots. The rough is 3+ inches thick and will be soaked from local rain. This course has been rated the third and fourth toughest venue back when it was Quicken, it will need to be played conservatively and it will be no birdie fest. The smart players will accept the long approach to the middle of the green and hope for a 20-25 foot birdie, the others will go for the pin and find impossible angles and a penal rough that will send them packing by the weekend. With only two par fives on the course patience and playing for the occasional birdie seem to be the recipe for success.

One of the anomalies our AI program came up with is that the one and only top ten player at Quicken who lost strokes putting was Ryan Palmer. Strokes gained ball striking and in the short game can offset putting on this bent grass just in case you have a team no putt golfer you just have to roster. Molinari went gonzo four years ago, gaining strokes in all four categories and hitting 90% of the fairways all week. I’ll offer 3 to 1 money for any amount he doesn’t duplicate that this week…or this year, though I do wish him well. Rory is the only top 10 player to tee it up this week along with top 50 OWGR players Ancer, Casey, Conners, Finau, Fitzpatrick, Hatton, Henley, Leishman, and Webb Simpson.

NOTE** Paul Casey withdrew from the Pro-Am today because of back issues and said he would try to tee it up tomorrow. Someone needs to tell him last place doesn’t pay anything here, there’s no Masters dinner either, so he might as well pack it in.

Lets take a look at The The Wells Fargo Final Ownership Projections to help you choose your player pools and roster selections.

Be sure to check out Spenser’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. Last week I made a point of singling out Trey Mullinax who Spencer and Stix both liked. No other podcast was high on him, there was no industry buzz, he was low owned and he crushed it. One of the players they like this week is Lucas Glover. It’s plays like this that can get you over the top, leverage your big GPP contest and get you in the money, week after week. It’s very simple, go to the Bettor Golf podcast, listen, cash your contest ticket. Repeat as often as needed.

Don’t miss out on the very popular and fun PGA DraftCast with Sia, Joel and Spencer (golf writer of the year) and you, the audience, every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST. Last night the audience had some passionate pleas for picking certain players as the audience was embolden by their convincing victory last week, if they win again this week there might be a security issue next week where one of the members jumps into the livestream, just like last night when Dave Chappelle was attacked by a ticketholder at the Hollywood Bowl at the end of a performance. Chris Rock walked out from backstage and said, “hey was that Will Smith?” Don’t miss next weeks livestream episode when alleged guest star Amber Heard shows Johnny Depp how to turn their bed into a toilet.

Everyone, I just got a close up look at the rough on the course this week. It’s at least 3 to 3.5 inches tall or more, it’s thick and wet from the rains. Think accuracy on drives and on long iron approach shots. There is a distinct advantage to the Thursday afternoon Friday morning tee times as mentioned by our new staff member Deep Dive Dave in the DraftCast last night, this gentleman from New Zealand has some serious golf chops and will be a welcome addition to our dedicated staff. Say hi to Dave when you have a chance in Discord!

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock!

This week we are at Vidante for The Mexico Open, this tourney should be listed as John Rahm and…others. Daniel Berger withdrew which means by lock we could be looking at a top tier golfer with 38-50% ownership, he would be a must for cash games and a mistake for large GPP’s, at his price and ownership he must win to have your screen go green.

There are other golfers ready and able to win this week, pricing is very tight with the lack of firepower other than Rahm and there is no course history with the new venue. The grass is very sticky, it also balloons a bit to protect itself from the salt in the sea air. We won’t see a lot of roll off of the tees and it does negate poor putting by a small margin. The second shot approach from mid to long distance will be most important, this is a Greg Norman course with no rough although they added about sixty bunkers to lower scoring, and if the winds don’t come in to affect birdies and Eagles it will be a resort style scoring fest. Our program is suggesting -26 as the winning score.

Last week my top pick to win the Zurich was Cantlay/Schauffele which puts me four for six in my last six top plays. It’s nowhere near Sia territory with his FRL’s and insane Secret Weapon percentage, although I like the fact that the hard work put in by everyone has the models and programs rounding into form. It’s time to make money. Serious money.

UPDATE: It looks like Rahm will be close to 40% and Woodland has emerged as the number two most popular player at 23%. Both are a hard fade for us this week. They would both have to finish 1-2 to have a shot at a takedown in the big GPPs. They are perfect cash plays you can compliment with the lower tier players listed below and also Sia’s, Joel’s, Spencer’s and Isaiah’s picks as well.

Lets take a look at The The Mexico Open Final Ownership Projections to help you with your roster selections.

These projections for The Mexican Open are accurate as of 6:12 EST. Top Tier Golfers will show a higher % by lock.

My picks for The Mexican Open

Top Tier: Wise

Mid Tier: Stallings

Low Tier: Bramlett

Out in Left Play: Lashley

Frisky Risky Biscuit Play: * In Discord later Tonight ! *Risky

FR Leader: Munoz

FR Leader: Barjon (contrarian)

Be sure to check out Spenser’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. They almost made it under 40 minutes last night, Spencer added some great NFL Draft value positions, the one I like most is the stud DB Stingley going before the 10th pick. Are you listening Houston? Spencer and Stix had some scorching top 40 through top 20 golf plays, outrights and first round leaders (along with T. Mullinax). These two gents are pure ATM machines, if you listen and follow their stream, you will be plus money.

Don’t miss out on the very popular and fun PGA DraftCast with Sia, Joel and Spencer (golf writer of the year) and you, the audience, every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST. Each of the teams picked were different in roster construction, stars and scrubs, balanced, hail mary’s and upside versus volatility, and there was even some attempted good natured poaching but Joel, as program chief/ringmaster, caught it in time. Sia was allegedly accused of concentrating on the NFL Draft when he wanted a golfer the audience had already picked, when his next choice was Aidan Hutchinson we just figured he was some 6K golfer who won the qualifier on Monday to get into the tourney. Ivan was trying to vote in Poston for the audience and he had been snapped up by Spencer. It was the first time ever I can remember people being elated and disappointed over J.T. Poston.

Sia will be back this week with his Secret Weapon (dun dun dun) who’s winning percentage is just sick for the toughest rules to qualify for, and his molten hot FRLs and Outright golf winners continue to amaze us all. The SW will be released tomorrow night along with my Frisky Risky Biscuit play, and Spencer’s Tee Off Sports will have an article tomorrow evening along with my ownership piece. Sia, Joel, Spencer, Stix, Isaiah, and I will be in Discord to bring you the best and latest intel on everything golf from weather to offshore betting markets to help you make the decisions that make you money!

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock!

How well do you know your partner? Well enough to win The Zurich Classic ?

Do you know the partners well enough to take down the 200K first prize on DraftKings? Come on in! We have warm cookies at the bottom of this article! EDITORS NOTE: (We don’t have any damn cookies) Sorry everyone, I tried.

This format is about as foreign as it gets for PGA tourneys. The key strategy is to make sure you do not roster the same two golfers that are paired up, the reason is they BOTH get the same points when you pick just one of the two. Key strategy will be to find the golfers when paired up that play to each others strengths, and when playing alternate shot, can mitigate their partners weakness. Jonas Blixt won this in 2017, he’s normally a 6000 salary player, usually an alternate that squeaked by in the qualifier type of golfer. How did he win? Cam Smith was his partner. Give me Scottie Scheffler as my partner and I bet we don’t come in last, and no bet over $3.00. I am a realist. In reality there have been a diverse group of champions make it to the top at The Zurich Classic. This is a long course, so drivers, accurate drivers, may have an edge, approach and around the green as well as putting, birdie % and bogey avoidance will factor in as well.

As far as ownership we can get you close, the top tier will be extremely high owned. You have a team like Cantlay/Schauffele with no glaring weakness. Some will pick Cantlay because they play him regularly, I had him picked to win last week and he lost to Spieth in a playoff. Some prefer Xander so you add in that ownership on top of Patricks. We all know Scottie has won 4 of 6 tourneys, he is ranked #1 and rightly so. His partner Ryan palmer is ranked 75th, he missed the cut at the Masters, shot a 77 at The Valero and carded an 80 at The Players. he averages 1.4 bad rounds per tourney, that’s almost 27 holes. It would be like Scottie trying to beat Michael Phelps in the 100 meter freestyle with an anchor tied around his neck. He is from Dallas, TX and Scottie lives in Austin which may help as far as team cohesion. There are 80 teams entered, only 33 and ties make the weekend so it’s important to make the cut.

Odds are good that you can expect a playoff between two teams, rostering both goes a long way to making you and your bank account look good this week.

Lets take a look at The The Zurich Classic Final Ownership Projections to help you with your roster selections.

Be sure to check out Spenser’s and Stix’s Bettor Golf podcast on Anchor at Spotify. They are both taking the week off because they’ve won so much money but you can catch their podcast next Tuesday night.

Don’t miss out on the very popular and fun PGA DraftCast with Sia, Joel and Spencer (golf writer of the year) every Tuesday night at 8:00 EST. They did not have a DraftCast Tuesday night due to the unusual format and Sia having one single hair out of place on those luxurious locks.

As always, I hope to be with you on Sunday afternoon, in the money. You can also come and hang out in the Win Daily Sports Discord Chat to talk it out with everyone before the lock!
