Welcome to the WWTC Ownership Projections. We are in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the World Wide Technology Tournament. A lot of folks think Mexico exports the most Avocados and Tequila. They do, their biggest export is cars. They are built in Mexican factories and shipped back to the states. It’s their number one export by a mile. One hundred twelve billion dollars a year plus.

Some also think Lee Trevino, aka ‘Supermex” is an export although he was born in Garland Texas. He won 6 majors, the U.S. Open, The British Open and the PGA. Narashino sounds like a nice sushi restaurant or a misspelled cherry. Its actually a pretty good golf course in Shiba, Japan, site of this weeks ZoZo tournament. It’s not a course for newcomers to find their game. This course has teeth and can bite. Bogey avoidance is a top marker in our program. Pristine greens, relatively easy to read, will allow weaker putters to show up if their ball striking is on point. Las Vegas is the only place where you can fly in with a plane ticket and leave in a $600,000 vehicle. The unfortunates will cash in their return plane ticket to spend at the casino and then have to take a Greyhound bus home. We are at TPC Summerlin in Sin City for The Shriners. Welcome to the Black Desert. There are some strange places people built golf courses on. In Bangkok the RAF built a course in between the runways at an international airport. How about the par 3 located right between the North and South Korean’s DMZ . It’s billed as the most dangerous golf course in the world. Surrounding the tee box is barbed wire where you see a sign that says “DANGER! Do not retrieve balls off the fairway.” ‘Live Mine Fields!” It’s no joke, errant golf shots have ended up exploding from setting off a mine. Millions of years ago a basin, mountain range and desert met up and the pressure caused a volcano to erupt. It caused massive lava flows that eventually cooled. They built a golf course on top of that in Ivins, Utah. No matter if jumbo jets are blowing you off the fairway, or blowing you sky high from a land mine, we have the tools to help you in DFS. Last week on Wednesday night I let Deep Dive Dave know what our program pick was. After 7 weeks of beta testing, back testing, scrubbing data and tweaking 3rd tier formulas, we were done. Sanderson Farms is one of the largest chicken producers in the U.S.A. It begs the question, “which came first, the chicken or the egg?” This morning I ordered some items from Amazon. I’ll let you know.

Welcome to the last tourney before the fall swing. We are at Eastlake for the FedEx championship. Personally I feel this is a corporate sponsorship ad being passed on to us as an “incredible race to the finish.” Granted, FedEx does some wonderful charity work (St. Jude children’s cancer research) but all year long we hear how the players have only one thing on their minds- to win the FedEx cup. (Cue FedEx commercial) As far as the PGA set up–someone with 450 million might win another 25 million, it seems a little anti climatic. The true value is we can all make money on this tourney. With only 30 golfers you will need the winner, at least 4 of the top 5 to score the heavy cash and all in the top 10 to go for the ultimate lineup. BOOTS ON THE GROUND. This used to be a bombers course. Not anymore. 8 holes have water hazards and 4 new bunkers have been placed in unpleasant areas. The greens look incredibly grainy. The scorching heat will add more speed to the greens where only a lob wedge will hold the greens at present. Remember this-there will be lots of missed putts from 5 feet or less on these surfaces. The players have been shaking their heads about the “grow in” which hasn’t grown in yet. Approach and putting will win this tourney. Since 44-46 % of the approach shots will be from 200 yards or more, it will be interesting to see how this elite group deals with it and also the Bermuda rough. It’s exactly that. Very rough. There is a plus to the fact a par 5 has been added but that’s one hole. With that in mind we feel the following have the best tools to win it all in Bobby Jones backyard. We like Scottie, Xander, Hovland, Fleetwood, IM, Burns Henley, Pendrith, Hoge and Rai—-More will be added/deleted once ownership comes out.

After this upcoming weekend I’ll be taking my misses to her favorite resort for some R&R. This allows me the” kitchen pass” to stay holed up in my dungeon/ laboratory for the next four months straight for NFL and PGA. It’s that time. Every December NFL DFS players salivate over the playoffs. As Golf DFS fans, we get to scream at our screens when someone does a quad bogey coming in with a four shot lead. I won’t mention any names (Greyserman) but an extra 2K would have worked. There are 70 of the top golfers vying for a spot in the top 50 and then 30 to get to East Lake. This is a no cut event as opposed to the 125 player format with a cut. Some of the nuances might seem trivial although some may and will be crucial. Courses and Horses

This course depends on approach over any other metric. It’s your typical TPC layout with the exception of water hazards on 12 holes and tiny fairways with minimal width. It ranked 7th out of 45 for difficulty last year That tells us accuracy and SGOT will be weight bearing. Sometimes the need for water hazards takes away from creative shot thinking, at least that’s what the course presents. This is Bermuda rough, make sure your teams do OK hitting out of it. We have the following with that criteria in our pool—Scheff and Xander of course, Deki, JT, Finau, Aberg, Rory, T Kim, Harman, Straka, Griffin and Henley —More will be added/deleted once ownership comes out.
