Win Daily Show Interview with David Jones

On this Win Daily Show Interview with David Jones, Michael Rasile gets to ask him all about his Fantasy Sports life and when it came to a head.

TenaciousDJones discusses what he loves so much about Fantasy Sports and how he goes about his process to make himself and those around him better. David gives us some insight in what it was like growing up in Alabama and has some great stories about Michael Jordan, of all people. Michael was nice enough to let kids shoot hoops in his driveway with him, but unfortunately, David had to live vicariously through his friends. David also tells us about how he fell in love with playing Fantasy at the University of Alabama. #ROLLTIDE! And when he started to take it a bit more seriously.

He also dives into how excited he was when he was going to be able to come on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio and help other win money! David loves to spread positivity and help others however he can, especially if it’s for a big takedown! He has qualified for the 2018 FanDuel World Fantasy Basketball Championship, 2018 FanDuel World Fantasy Baseball Championship, 2018 DraftKings NFL Showdown Championship, 2018 Inaugural DraftKings Sports Betting National Championship and has two entries in the 2019 FanDuel World Fantasy Baseball Championship.

David is a great person to learn Daily Fantasy Sports from because he wins a lot of money. Since about mid-August of 2019, he’s taken home over $230k. Not only does he win, but he helps those around him win! If you’re ever in the Discord Chat, you’ll see @TenaciousDJones giving his expertise to whoever asks!

It’s been over a month since I made a wager on a professional/collegiate sporting event… Yikes. I’m itching to get some action and hopefully (unless you have a gambling problem, then please seek help) you are too.

I would like to let personally invite you to our LIVE NFL Draft show on Twitter on Thursday at 7:30pm eastern. We will be running a contest and giving away a FREE 6 MONTH GOLD MEMBERSHIP! In order to enter you must follow the directions below.

  • 1. Follow us on Twitter @WinDailyDFS
  • 2. Like our official Contest Tweet that will be posted Thursday at 5pm
  • 3. Retweet that Twitter post
  • 4. Reply to that tweet with the top 10 draft picks in order. You do not have to name the team, just the player!
  • 5. Watch the live show at Twitter.com/WinDailyDFS

Without further ado, let’s get right into the Win Daily Staff’s 2020 NFL Draft Best Bets.

So we’re all playing with the same odds, we’re getting our numbers directly from DraftKings Sportsbook. Thanks to our partnership with DraftKings, you can get in on the action and take advantage of a huge boost! Just click this link and you can get a 20% profit boost on all NFL Draft Markets!

Example:

  • User bets $25 on Chase Young (+2000) to be the first overall pick in the Draft
  • Chase Young is selected first overall
  • The user would normally win $500
  • With the profit boost, the user will now win $600

Sticks’ Picks – 2020 NFL Draft

  1. Justin Herbert Draft Position OVER 5.5 (-138): Personally, I hate taking anything more than (-115) on any bet, but I’ve been anti-Herbert all off-season and really don’t think there’s any chance he gets selected in the Top-10… unless there is some shuffling of draft picks, via trade (which is entirely possible).

Maybe the Chargers roll the dice on Herbert, but I just don’t see any other Quarterbacks going in the Top-10 outside of Tua and Burrow (and maybe a trade up for Jordan Love). I’ll lay the juice with confidence that Herbert gets selected after pick five.
  2. Jake Fromm Draft Position OVER 68.5 (-110): I loved Fromm two years ago at Georgia, but it seems he hasn’t really progressed into a top NFL caliber draftee. Fromm is hardly a Top-10 Quarterback in this 2020 NFL Draft Class, so taking the over 68.5 appears like free money at first glance… and the price is damn-near even money. Sign me up!
  3. Jordan Love Drafted by the Raiders (+900): Not much to say here, I just think the Raiders have to draft a Quarterback and are unlikely to move up for Tua or Burrow. For what it’s worth, according to Addison Hayes’ reports, the Raiders have visited Love both at the combine and through a virtual meeting. I guess that sounds comforting, let’s punch in this wager.
  4. Justin Herbert Drafted by the Raiders (+1400): See above. If you put $20 on both bets for the 2020 NFL Draft, and the Raiders happen to choose one of them, the worst you can do is profit $140. I’m in.

Sia’s Picks

  1. Henry Ruggs Draft Position UNDER 13.5 (-121)
  2. Tristan Wirfs Draft Position UNDER 8.5 (-152)

Javi’s Picks

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers to MISS Playoffs (+260)
  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers UNDER 10 Wins (-110) – Javi clearly is not buying into the public’s early money (the Bucs total quickly moved from 9.5 wins to 10) on the Bucs as soon as they signed Rob Gronkowski. If you’re interested in the preseason bet, you can probably get an even better price as the public money continues to flood the OVER.

David Jones’ Picks

  1. Jeff Okudah Draft Position UNDER 4.5 (+110)
  2. Jalen Hurts Draft Position OVER 55.5 (-110): Loved him in college (but not because of raw talent, Roll Tide). I do not expect him to have much of a career in the NFL and should fall pretty late.
  3. Jordan Love Draft Position OVER 23.5 (-110): I don’t think four Quarterbacks come off the board before the 24th pick.
  4. Henry Ruggs Draft Position OVER 13.5 (+100): Ruggs isn’t one of the top two receivers in my opinion. I think it’s safe he’ll be on the board past pick 14.
  5. Atlanta Falcons First Drafted Position: Cornerback (-167)
  6. Las Vegas Raiders First Drafted Position: Wide Receiver (-167)

Jason’s Picks – 2020 NFL Draft

  1. First Draft Pick – Hugs Dad First (+250)
  2. Will a Draftee Experience Technical Difficulties: YES (-300)
  3. Covid-19 Prop: OVER 9.5 People Shown in the Same Room (Whatever odds you can find)
  4. Total Dogs Shown in the Same Room: OVER 3.5 (Whatever odds you can find)
  5. Will a Draftee Pop Champagne: YES (+600)

Michael’s Picks

  1. Will any Draftee be shown drinking beer: YES (+700)
  2. Total cats shown during the first round: UNDER 0.5 (-110)
  3. Henry Ruggs Draft Position OVER 13.5 (+100)

Win Daily Show Interview with Brandon Steiner

On this episode of the Win Daily Show, Michael Rasile has an interview with Brandon Steiner to discuss his career in sports. Through Steiner Sports, Brandon worked with some of the most famous and successful athletes in New York City including Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, and Henrik Lundqvist. He discusses how he was able to start working with high level talent and how he goes about life: giving value unconditionally.

During the interivew with Brandon he tells us how he is currently running CollectibleXchange and The Steiner Agency. CollectibleXchange is a marketplace to sell memorabilia with the addition of value. Through the site you can find out why certain items cost more than others and how to determine what makes sense for you as the customer.

The Steiner Agency is based around helping athletes with their marketing but with a huge emphasis on cause marketing and doing good in the community. Brandon is a big believer in helping those around you. By helping out the community, he thinks brands actually receive more amplification than if they were just to sell spots on the Yankee’s broadcast. Builing a basketball court or cleaning up the streets can show the community members that a brand actually cares for the people there. We also discuss what he is doing to help raise money for COVID-19 relief through CollectibleXchange.

In the interview with Brandon, we also learn about his unique career within the sports world and the philosophies he’s been able to use and develop throughout his businesses and his life. These are the building blocks to any great person. He understands that you always have to give value, stay consistent and persistent, and play the long game. By doing these, success will come to those who work hard!

I have loved Australian Rules Football since I first saw the AFL Grand final while I was traveling on a bus tour throughout Europe with a clan of Australians. With the holdout in North America, I couldn’t find a better time to deeper look into the world of footy! Let’s drop the ball on today’s action. All lines are from FanDuel Sportsbook. I will be playing all the picks I suggest.

Checkmarks or exes: (3-0)
So far it’s all checkmarks as Colling wood comes out with 86-34 victory crushing the money line and the goal line with a 52 point victory. Let’s see if we can catch some more marks on today’s AFL action.

Essendon Bombers (-205) versus Fremantle Dockers (+172) over/under (144.5) 11:10 EST Saturday
The line on this AFL game is 14.5 at -110 in favor of the Essendon Bombers. That total has been beaten two of the last three games where Essendon won by thirty-two, seven and twenty-nine in the last three games. The under has hit in the last two of three as well with game totals of 142, 113 and 169.
The play I am going to mark in is Essendon GOAL LINE -14.5 and the Under 144.5

Adelaide Crows (-140) versus the Sidney Swans (+118) over/under 144.5 2:05 am EST Sunday
Over the past five games between these two clubs, the total has never gone under 150 points. I have noticed a general trend that scoring has gone down over the past five seasons, however, I do not believe it will be drastic enough to go under the 144.5 total tonight. Adelaide has won three of the last five games between these squads by no less than ten points.
As confident I am in the over the total for tonight my pick will be Adelaide Crows GOAL LINE -5.5 (-110)

Gold Coast Suns (+198) versus Port Adelaide Power (-240) over/under (147.5) 4:40am EST Sunday
This series has been a mismatch for the last five years with the power clearly on Port Adelaide’s side. The Gold coast Suns have not come within twenty-three points of a win in the last five meetings, and that defeat came five seasons ago. With the goal line sitting at sixteen and a half points, I like our chances there. With the goal total only going above the 147.5 marks one of the last three years, that being three seasons ago, and as we have mentioned, scoring has decreased. I don’t feel good about either here.
The pick in this AFL game tonight is on the Port Adelaide GOAL LINE -16.5 (-110)

West Coast Eagles (-270) versus Melbourne Demons (+220) 3:40am EST Monday
Seeing as I am double picking the last article and this article because I am not quite used to the time difference yet, I’ll fire up a third fresh pick for this article. This will also finish out the week, or Round one of this seventeen round 2020 season. The Eagles have won the last three in a row with the last two being sixteen and thirteen point victories. With the goal line being twenty and a half, this makes me a little nervous being the first week of the season as the trends don’t align. What I do like in this game is the Over as all five of the last five games have gone over the 150.5 marks. The totals for the last five seasons have been 195, 199, 176, 154, and last season 169.
The consensus picks to complete round one, over 150.5 game total.

Thank you all for taking the time to read! Hopefully, you have stayed up to watch a couple of games and have fallen in love with the chaos as much as I have. I hope you all are staying safe and staying well!

With the holdout in North America, I couldn’t find a better time to deeper look into the world of footy! Let’s drop the ball on today’s action. All lines are from FanDuel Sportsbook. I will be playing all the picks I suggest.

Last night I put two AFL picks on the WinDaily Discord chat and went 2-0. We hit the Richmond Tigers to win by more than  21.5 and the over game total of 138.5. giving us a perfect two check marks to start our AFL betting career.

Western Bulldogs (- 109) versus Collingwood Ravens (-108) Over/ under ( 148.5) 4:50am EST

Collingwood has won the last three AFL matches between these two clubs by differences of 35 in 2018, 14 in round four of 2019 and nine in week fourteen of 2019. The over has only hit once in the last three games with a total score of 155. The under was hit with 142 and 145. All of these totals are pretty close to the 148.5 lines, which I am not confident in making a pick for a checkmark here.

I would consider the safe play here to take the Collingwood Ravens at -109 on the money line

Essendon Bombers (-205) versus Fremantle Dockers (+172) over/under (144.5) 11:50pm EST

The line on this game is 14.5 at -110 in favor of the Essendon Bombers.

The NHL season may be on hold, but Phil “Cash with Flash” Naessens and Zak from Puck Picks are still talking hockey. Join them as they discuss handicapping tips, playoff predictions and possible NHL Futures picks for this season.

What is your first step in the NHL handicapping process?

ZAK Puck Picks: My first step in the NHL handicapping process is to take a look at the upcoming games from a neutral site, without showing any betting lines. From the slate before knowing any information, I like to write down the teams that my gut says will win before looking at any of the stats. From that point, I like to look at individual team histories in their last 10 games and record against each other in the last 2-3 seasons, as any further than that I feel are inaccurate results as teams in the NHL seem to vary quite a bit. From this point I have a pretty good idea of who are going to be the picks of the night however like sharpening a knife, it’s the finer grist stones that really get the edge sharp. I’ll save those nuggets for another post!

Cash with Flash: The very first thing that I do is head to Vegas Insider and look at the NHL money lines. What I am looking for are favorites at either -150 or below or underdogs of +150 and below and I usually discard any team that isn’t. It’s not that I wouldn’t pick a favorite between -160 and -195, because I would but my initial move is to look for value first.

What NHL team or situations have you looked to exploit this season?

Zak’s Puck Picks: I am a huge Devils fan, which means that this losing season has been great for me to pick against! They did. have a good stretch before the stoppage and I was on that too. Detroit has been a great team to me as well in the puck line -1.5 and even in the +1.5 the very few times, I have picked that. Jimmy Howard was an easy target for Detroit those nights.

Cash with Flash: I’m a big fan of targeting the Red Wings and especially on the road because a 4-29 road record in the NHL is atrocious. The Devils at home were another team that I love targeting and the Buffalo Sabres on the road were profitable this season. The San Jose Sharks both home and away usually provided good value as well. The Ottawa Senators on the road were another team I liked to pick on a bit because they were/are a bad road team.

When the NHL returns, they will likely begin with the playoffs. Of the 16 teams, which teams or series’ will you look to exploit?

Zak’s Puck Picks: This question just got more complex as there are talks of a different NHL playoff format due to ending the season early. We will look at what would happen if the playoffs started in the normal sense before we get into the speculation, however.

The matchups in the east would look thusly:

The NHL regular season may not have gone the way you could imagine by the status of these matchups.

Eastern Conference

1A) Boston Bruins vs WC2) Columbus Blue Jackets

Boston went zero wins and two losses versus Columbus in their season series. With the break and chances for Columbus’s goal scorers to return from this time off, I want nothing to do with this series given its history this year. Columbus was one of three teams that handed the Bruins a home loss. Stay away!

1M) Washington Capitals vs WC1) Carolina Hurricanes

Washington and the Carolina Hurricanes tied their season series aside from an extra point that Wishing got for taking their three to two losses to overtime. Both of these teams have had issues in their defensive zone this last month or so. With Carolina getting their starting puck stopper back in Petr Mrazek I tend to lean to Carolina on the defensive side. The offense, however, is all Washington. Ranked second in the league in goals per game. Carolina is surprisingly better on the power play ranking eighth compared to Washington at thirteenth in powerplay goals per game. I would give a slight edge overall to Carolina, but not confidently. Braden Holtby seems to go to another level come playoff time.

2A) Tampa Bay Lightning vs A3) Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto beat Tampa Bay two out of the three matchups this season, however, in those games, the Lightning outscored the Leafs eleven to nine. Puck slapper Steven Stamkos should be back for this series. Coming down to defense and goaltending I prefer the Lightning in this matchup, therefore saving the Leafs another matchup with Boston in Round 2.

2M) Philadelphia Flyers vs M3) Pittsburgh Penguins

Philadelphia Flyers are losing their season series to the Pittsburgh Penguins two games to one being outscored eleven to seven. Pittsburgh has sustained a lot of man-games lost due to injury to significant pieces and it does not appear they will have any returning for the playoffs due to the severity of the injuries. The Flyers rank seventh in the league in both goals per game as.well as goals against per game. Impressively they are allowing the least amount of shots in the league on a game by game basis. Pittsburgh ranks tenth in goals per game and twelfth in goals against per game. Both Penguins puck stoppers were having issues in that department before the stoppage. I lean against the season series numbers here and feel confident that the depth of the Flyers’ top three lines would.be enough to send the Penguins sliding on their bellies back to the iceberg.

Western Conference

P1) Vegas Golden Knights vs WC2)Winnipeg Jets

Vegas has been a disappointment against the Jets this season losing both games by a total score of eight to three. However, the Knights are not the top-ranked team in the West without reason. Shoring up their puck stopping adding Robin Lehner at the deadline, pairing him with a former cup winner in Marc-Andre Fleury is a deadly tandem. Vegas also got better and healthier via trade and getting healthier on the back end. The addition of Alec Martinez and the emergence of Shea Theodore really has Vegas in a good place. Winnipeg has battled with issues on their blue line all season, however many of the issues have been swallowed up by Vezina candidate Connor Hellebuyck (slight speculation here as nothing official, but the guy has been unreal!) I just don’t see this as being sustainable in a seven-game series against Vegas.

C1) St. Louis Blues vs WC1)Nashville Predators

In some miraculous twist of fate, the Nashville Predators have the defending Stanley Cup Champions number this season beating them in all four games played. The way Jussi Saros has played as of late, I could see this trend continuing and Nashville giving St. Louis a good run for their money. However, I can’t count out the defending Stanley Cup Champions that easily. St Louis ranked fourteenth in goals per game and third overall in powerplay goals per game, as well as fifth in fewest goals allowed per game. Nashville was sixteenth in goals per game and twentieth in goals allowed per game, with the twenty-fifth power-play goals per game. I believe that the St. Louis Blues would win this series, but it would be a tight battle. Too tight for me to put money on.

P2) Edmonton Oilers vs P3) Calgary Flames

I will be honest, this Flames vs Oilers series is too close to my heart to judge fairly. As a handicapper, I will give it my all. This series is why I am begging for the NHL to come back. A playoff battle of Alberta with two teams that do not like each other at all. The best rivalry in sports in my humble opinion. The flames hold the edge in the season series with a three and one record. The Flames are twentieth in goals per game and sixteenth on goals against with the nineteenth ranked powerplay goals per game. Edmonton is ranked fourteenth in goals per game and fifteenth in goals against per game but first in powerplay goals per game and power-play percentage. The numbers have the edge to the Oilers, however, with Travis Harmonic and Noah Hanifin currently listed as day today, it would give the Flames their second defensive pairing back and ridiculous depth on the blue line. I think the Flames will come out on top. Call me a homer that’s fine. That game’s six goals in 2004 were on the net. Flames were 2004 Stanley Cup Champions!

V2) Colorado Avalanche vs C3) Dallas Stars

Colorado Avalanche should be darn close to fully healthy whenever we surpass the COVID-19 scare. The Stars beat Colorado in four games this season. Dallas puck stoppers became quite suspect before the stoppage. Dallas lost seven of their last ten games, including their last six in a row. Goal scoring has been an issue for the Stars all season ranking twenty-sixth in the league, five from the bottom. Their goaltending and defense really kept them alive ranking second in the league in goals against per game as well in save percentage. I don’t know what kind of momentum will carry over if any, after the long break but hopes are for Stars fans that their goaltending returns to midseason form rather than last season. Colorado had much better numbers in goal scoring per game ranking fourth and not too bad stopping pucks either ranking sixth in goals against per game. Hopefully returning would be puck stopper Philipp Grubauer, heart trophy candidate (again speculation, but not really) Nathan McKinnon and winger Mikko Rantanen, this team would be a force in the Playoffs. I have to again put the season series aside and would put my money on the Avalanche.

Now, as this is just speculation I won’t waste everyone’s time and break down the matchups, however, there has been Reports through TSN’s Daren Dreger from Sports-Express writer Igor Eronko. that the Playoffs could be expanded to 24 teams if they end the season now, to make it fairer for the teams just on the outside looking in. Rumor is that the top two teams in each conference would get a first-round bye. From this point on the logistics get very tricky. There is talk of the seventh and eighth place team facing off in a three-game series to set who would face the three seed. That would be a neat twist. We will have to wait and see. As long as they don’t change the playoff overtime format, I’m all for it this season!

Cash with Flash Best Bets:

Since we don’t have any idea what the NHL will do, we only have the playoff format from past seasons. That being said, there is a couple of series’ that I would look to find value.

If the playoffs were, to begin with, the top eight teams playing each other, I would seriously look at the Columbus Blue Jackets-Boston Bruins series. The Blue Jackets have won both of their meetings this season and I don’t think this is a very good matchup for the Bruins and we could see an upset. The Blue Jackets have been better than expected and could end up doing some real damage in the playoffs.

The other series I like is a possible Calgary Flames-Edmonton Oilers series. Alberta would go wild to have a playoff series featuring the Battle for Alberta. The Flames have won each of their three meetings and seem to have the Oilers number. So I would look to target that series also.

If you were to make a futures bet right now, what team would you bet on and why?

Zak’s Puck Picks: I currently have money on the Vegas Golden Knights to win the Stanley Cup at +675 ( I made the bet right after the trade deadline after Robin Lehner and Alec Martinez came aboard). I also like the look of the Colorado Avalanche at +1000. They got beat in the second round last year by the eventual Stanley Cup Champions and I feel they have got stronger this season. It is very hard to bet against the Bruins to win the East this season but if I was going to, I could see the Philadelphia Flyers being that upset team at +500. Of we want to take some deep dives for potential winners, as anything can happen on the Stanley Cup playoffs (just look at last year with all top four teams put on the first round in the west, and an eighth-seeded team winning it all) I like Carolina from the East at +6000 (ONLY IF the playoffs are extended to 24 teams) and either the Edmonton Oilers at +2000 or the Minnesota Wild at +6000 ( again ONLY IF the playoffs are expanded to 24 teams)

I can not wait for the puck to hit the ice again, as, from everything I listen to and read currently from NHL radio on Sirius to Podcasts to Twitter and internet articles, it sounds like they are really trying to make a go of it. Excited to get into more content soon regarding more tips to look at when betting hockey. I hope you all are staying safe and taking care of each other out there! Be safe and keep your stick on the ice!

Cash with Flash: The Winnipeg Jets were the hottest potential playoff team and went into the hiatus riding a four-game winning streak. At 50-1 this could be a nice payout if they can win the Lord Stanley Cup. The Jets beat Vegas twice and that would be their first matchup, so that would be one team that I would consider.

The St Louis Blues are at 10-1 and we have to consider this team as they have the goaltending to see them through to the Finals. The Blues would have a tough matchup with the Nashville Predators and Nashville swept their season series so getting past the Predators would be difficult but I don’t think it would be impossible.

Welcome

I would like to welcome everyone to the Win Daily Sports Betting Section. We are dedicated to providing you with the best Sports Betting Picks possible.  I’m going to go over a few guidelines that will make the betting section easier to navigate.

Guidelines

It’s imperative to have correct bankroll management.  This can vary slightly person to person based on a few variables however around 100 units is correct.  It doesn’t matter how much money is in your bankroll as long as you are betting the correct amount of units.  The units that I will be attributing to each bet are based off of having the correct bankroll and the correct bankroll management.

Patience is immensely important to succeeding in both DFS and Betting Sports.  There will be some days that the Sports Betting Picks don’t work out.  Not pressing or doing anything hastily on those days goes a long way toward winning at the end of the year.  There will also be some days that don’t have many bets at all.  You need to accept that and not bet games just to get more action.

All of this is intended for your benefit and to create a winning community and provide the best Sports Betting Picks.  I will be in the Discord chat numerous times throughout the week.  Any questions or concerns you may have don’t hesitate to ask.  I look forward to creating this community with all of you.

Today’s Plays

First and foremost I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Do what you can to help the spreading subside.

I’m happy to be back posting. I don’t find the end of the NBA season to have much value. Motivations for teams are quite suspect and there are a considerable amount of extra variables in play. There are points in the year that Sports betting is not my main focus, so at those points I obviously don’t post. However with the unfortunate circumstances I will be spending a great amount of time at home and therefore will be focusing on whatever is actually left. That happens to be the UFC, and it’s a sport that when I do have the time I enjoy betting.

UFCMacedo -160 3.2 to win 2Barzola -190 3.8 to win 2Moroz +120 1.5 to win 1.8Formiga -165 4.95 to win 3dos Santos -125 3.1 to win 2.5Burns -180 3.6 to win 2Lee -150 2.25 to win 1.5

Always make sure to check back for updates to the page. This is especially true Saturdays and Sundays.

Also make sure you hop into the Win Daily Premium Discord channel as we will be adding more Sports Betting Picks and Live Bets in there. As a gold member of Win Daily, you will be able to join other members of the Win Daily family as well as DFS pros in the coaching channels. Welcome to Zak’s Puck Picks!! I started in Cash with Flash Handicapping Challenge and have been heating up. I am super excited to keep the momentum going and win some serious money talking Puck Picks with all of you!

A big part of my life is my three kids. Each one of them holds a different attribute that I would personally use to aid me in deciding what picks to make. My twins Pork and Ribs and their little brother Bean (not their real names but very appropriate nicknames).

Pork is a doer. He is one to dive into a situation and figure itout as it unfolds, usually with great success. In terms of the puck pick, itwill be a gut feeling pick and be backed with some stats to explain the feeling.

Ribs, he likes to observe the situation, take in all theinformation, and then make an educated decision on what his next step will be.His puck pick will be focused around teams that are on hot streaks, eitheragainst a team in a matchup or on a winning streak.

Now Bean may sound cute and innocent, but he is a wild man. Not alot of thought goes into actions and if there is some thought, its gearedtowards “how can I push Dad’s buttons”. His puck pick will be a little more onthe risky side. There will be reasons why I think we should go this way.

As cook by trade and hockey as a passion since I was 3 years old, let’s get some puck picks in the oven and make some dough shall we?

Puck Record March (17-21) Puck Recap Wednesday Night (2-1)

I underestimated the Colorado Avalanche after losing their starting goaltender, their heart trophy candidate, and their top-line winger, to beat the Rangers. How to win from the St. Louis Blues and the LA Kings. Hopefully, we will drop the puck on today’s action?!

Pork’s Puck Pick- Philadelphia Flyers +128
The Philadelphia Flyers have been on a roll and puck stopper Brian Elliott has danced his way to four victories in six starts, all of which were on the road. Philadelphia has won nine of their last ten games with a tough loss to the first-place Boston Bruins. Tampa Bay has lost seven of its last ten. The stats and trends show that this should be a Tampa Bay win, but with the way these teams have been playing lately, I feel confident that Philadelphia ends the seven-game losing streak to Tampa Bay this evening

Rib’s Puck Pick- Nashville Predators +137
The Predators have been playing some great hockey and are on a three-game winning streak. Jussi Saros looks to be the answer in net for Nashville to stop the struggle. Filip Forsberg is back putting the puck in the net after a long rough patch as well, Roman Josi has been dominant of late. Toronto seemed to have found their game with Morgan Rielly back on the blue line, however one game doesn’t write the ship. I believe the solid play from Nashville is the money line ticket tonight.

Bean’s Puck Pick- Florida Panthers +127
The biggest issue facing the Florida Panthers was goaltending. In the past three games, that puck stopper and former Calgary Hitmen goalie Chris Driedger has started, he has only allowed four goals. Fair to say this issue has been solved as of now. They go into Dallas facing a Stars team on a current six-game slide and have only scored nine goals in that span. Javi Prellezo will be happy as tonight his “Cats” take a step closer to the playoffs

There may be a few other matchups I may like, however it depends who the puck stopper is. Stay tuned to the #nhl and # sports betting tabs on Discord, as well as Twitter for any changes or more potential matchups as more news unfolds!

NHL Update

The NHL Playoff picture is beginning to take shape. With about 70% of the season behind us here are your division leaders and their respective Stanley Cup Odds. The Capitals have maintained their points lead over the surging Penguins, while the Lightning has won 8 in a row in an attempt to catch the Bruins. All 4 teams see their odds stay about the same to win the Stanley Cup, while the entire Pacific Division attempts to sort out who will represent them in the playoffs and who will settle for a Wildcard spot.

Before the first puck of the season dropped for the 2019-2020 NHL season we offered Over/Under Point Totals for each team. The Islanders and Blue Jackets are on their way to hitting the over while the Devils and Red Wings are running out of gas to get them over the finish line.

Puck Record March (15-20) Puck Recap Sunday Night (2-2)
Pittsburgh got the jump on the Devils beating them five two on New Jersey, Toronto came alive to beat Tampa Bay. Nashville did their work against Montreal and Vancouver won in a shootout with a spectacular performance from Thatcher Demko.

Pork’s Puck Pick- St Louis Blues+140
Let’s start out with the fact that St. Louis has won four of the last six meetings against Anaheim. Not only that but the Ducks played Ottawa last night. And the third reason I like this game, puck stopper John Gibson is questionable to start this game. I do not believe that they would start a fourth one-year-old in Ryan Miller in back to back games, so you are starting your third-string goalie against the rested Stanley Cup Champions. Now don’t get me wrong, Anaheim has been playing some really good hockey as of late and has seemed to enjoy the role of playing spoiler but this is a well balanced, well-coached team with both goalies playing great. I am tempted to play the reverse puck line here as three of those four wins have been by two or more goals, however, I like to win more than risk so we will stick to the money line tonight.

Rib’s Puck Pick- LA Kings-167
As discussed in the previous pick, Ottawa played last night against Anaheim. Tonight they make a short trip up the I-5 to Los Angeles to take on the Kings. LA shockingly has rattled off six wins in a row, four of which have been at home and are receiving great goaltending from both Johnathan Quick and Calvin Petersen. Ottawa has lost four of their last five road games with their loan win coming in overtime against the San Jose Sharks. Ottawa ranks thirtieth in the league in goals-against per game, LA ranks fourteenth. Although LA ranks thirtieth in their own right in goals per game, they are fifth in shots per game leading me to think that the scoring is coming, especially when you allow 3.33 goals per game like Ottawa does. I like the king’s to have a good effort and beat the Senators at home in the Staples Center tonight.

There may be a few other matchups I may like, however it depends who the puck stopper is. Stay tuned to the #nhl and # sports betting tabs on Discord, as well as Twitter for any changes or more potential matchups as more news unfolds!

Puck Record March (13-18)

Puck Recap Sunday Night (1-2)
Two extra period games gave us a losing record on the night with Vegas beating Edmonton in overtime and Washington losing to Buffalo in a shootout. One-shot away in both for having a perfect day. Winnipeg got their job done at home against Arizona for the lone won on the day..let’s. drop the puck on today’s action

Pork’s Puck Pick- Vancouver Canucks-120
When puck stopper Jacob Markström went down with a knee injury I was worried this team would plummet down the standings. Thatcher Demko has played quite well in the net despite his one and four records in his last five starts. Another bright news for the Canucks is that there are rumblings around the hockey community that injured winger Brock Boeser might return for this contest providing some much-needed scoring. Vancouver’s opponent tonight has lost their last six games in a row and have not looked good while doing it. Since acquiring Jean-Gabriel Pageau for additional scoring, the New York Islanders have not scored more than 3 goals in a game and have averaged four goals against on their six-game slide. Both teams need the win to stay relevant in the playoff race, so motivation is a non-factor. Sportsnet 650 on twitter reports that head coach Travis Green states that he is unsure if Brock Boeser will be an option for tonight. However, that is still a boost to the locker room and Vancouver will show well in front of their home fans tonight. Take the Canucks on the money line

Rib’s Puck Pick- Tampa Bay Lightning-124
The Leafs looked terrible on their west coast road trip last week losing to Anaheim two to one and LA one to nothing. Tampa Bay is coming off a huge win against Boston on the road in Boston and had a let down the next night in Detroit. I think they got the bad game out of their system and will be ready for the falling Leafs tonight. Tampa Bay has won six of the last eight meetings between these clubs and has no problem putting the puck in the net lately With fourteen goals in their last three games since losing Captain Steven Stamkos, I think the Lightning have the depth to take on the flailing Maple Leafs tonight. Put the Tampa Bay money line down and enjoy that maple syrup on some pancakes.

Bean’s Puck Pick- New Jersey Devils+125
The Pittsburgh Penguins are coming off of two ugly losses, a five to two defeat to the Washington Capitals and the next night a six-two defeat to the defensive challenged Carolina Hurricanes. This team can’t seem to find their game or ability to stop the puck. After a lot of inconsistency last season, McKenzie Blackwood has been a revelation for the Devils this season has been one of the nose consistent pieces for them when healthy. He has won seven of his last ten starts, including rattling off five in a row at home which is where New Jersey finds themselves tonight. Overall this Devils team is six-two-two in their last ten games. The Devils have won seven of their last ten meetings against Pittsburgh. The strangest part of this game is tine seems to have moved further in favor of the Penguins overnight. Take the Devils on the plus money line!

Houston’s Puck Pick- Nashville Predators -136. The Nashville Predators have owned this matchup against the Canadians winning their last four in a row. Puck Stopper Jussi Saros has taken control of the net for the Predators and has been fantastic posting back to back shutouts. Montreal has been a pesky but inconsistent team with putting the puck in the net. With only two wins in their last six games, the Canadians do not look on a good spot to make the postseason. Look for the Predators to continue their recent win streak take them on the money line.

There may be a few other matchups I may like, however it depends who the puck stopper is. Stay tuned to the #nhl and # sports betting tabs on Discord, as well as Twitter for any changes or more potential matchups as more news unfolds!
