This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 2/18 on DraftKings and FanDuel. Both sites have fairly different scoring formats, particularly with the recent changes on DraftKings. We consider tournament tactics, statistics, pricing, and attempt to tackle this highly variable Daily Fantasy format so we can gain an edge on the field at large. BE SURE to double-check both regular and power play lines at both morning skate and before lock as they can drastically change from the time of publication.

Top Three Lines

Cash/GPP – St. Louis One – David Perron, Zach Sanford, Ryan O’Reilly, Add-On: Alex Pietrangelo

The Blues are a slate high -215 favorite as of the time of writing, as they host Zak PRB’s favorite team, the New Jersey Devils. Zach Sanford has been offering fairly elite value for some time on both sites and this is definitely a situation where St. Louis should eat. If Louis Domingue happened to be in net, it would be a huge boost. Even assuming he is not, it’s hard not to like the Blues top line. Their eleven full line goals over their last ten games are tied for the best in the NHL. Furthermore, their 107 SATF “shot attempts for” during that span ties them for sixth in the NHL, so their goals are certainly no fluke. If looking to expand from the main trio, elite defenseman Alex Pietrangelo shares the first line and time with two of the three skaters on the Blues first power-play unit.

Cash/GPP – Pittsburgh Two – Evgeni Malkin, Bryan Rust, Jared McCann

For the Toronto Maple Leafs, it’s the same old song, great offense, no defense. After getting bashed in by the awful Buffalo Sabres, they will visit Pittsburgh to face the suddenly healthy Penguins. Last time out, it was Jason Zucker delivering in a big way, as he connected with a pair of Sidney Crosby passes to be the star of the night. However, we need a short memory in DFS and it is hard to pass over the free square on FanDuel, Bryan Rust, and company. Their recent numbers are nothing special but you are still getting very good value here. The Penguins are not a truly heavy favorite at -135 but this is a high total game which should be a shootout. Given the Pens momentum, I think they walk out with the W.

GPP – Montreal One – Brendan Gallagher, Tomas Tatar, Phillip Danault

For much of the NBA All-Star Break, one thing has been absent from these slates, namely the Knicks of the NHL, the Detroit Red Wings. That might even be an insult to the Knicks considering just how bad the Wings are by any and every measure. Better Call Saul returns to television this week, but Detroit has its own “Slipping Jimmy” in their AHL level goaltender Jimmy Howard. He was pulled yet again the other day, so, unfortunately, I expect Jonathan Bernier in the net which lowers the upside a little. Montreal is a -185 favorite and with Brendan Gallagher back it makes sense to focus on the top line. The production hasn’t necessarily been there with only four goals in their last ten games. However, this line has 132 SATF, good for third in the NHL over the last ten games. Any time that you face the Red Wings, there’s some serious upside.

Auston Matthews, Roman Josi, Alex Pietrangelo – Over 2.5 Points – The daily 2.5 point bet is down to 32/49 as Alex Ovechkin and Mark Stone were both a pair of bums last night. So tonight let’s turn to our hero Auston Matthews and two defensemen who might snag some assists.

Welcome to WinDaily’s newest edition of the NHL Stack and Track! In this article, the 2/18 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in tonight’s slate. There are seven games for tonight’s main slate, check out the top plays below.

2/18 NHL Stack Report

  1. Carolina Hurricanes One $$$
    Svechnikov – Aho – Teravainen (FanDuel: $21,800 | DraftKings: $19,400)
    – This line has easily been one of the hottest in hockey and each member has contributed to their success with 10 goals and 12 assists over their last 5 games. They will be facing off against a questionable defense in the Nashville Predators and I am confident they will produce tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Jaccob Slavin (FD: $5,100 | DK: $5,100)
  2. Montreal Canadiens Two $$
    Drouin – Suzuki – Armia (FanDuel: $13,900 | DraftKings: $14,800)
    – Suzuki has been a bright light in a season that has been rather lackluster for the Canadiens who have been marred by injuries and poor performances. Suzuki will look to embark on a four-game point streak tonight and it will be against the league’s worst defense in the Detroit Red Wings. Both teams are on a four-game losing streak however this is the perfect opportunity for Montreal to break themselves out of their funk and with this line’s successes as of late they are prime candidates to perform tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Shea Weber (if he plays) (FD: $5,000 | DK: $6,000)
  3. Philadelphia Flyers Three $
    J. Van Riemsdyk – Laughton – Pitlick (FanDuel: $12,800 | DraftKings: $11,600)
James Van Riemsdyk has truly excelled as of late and despite playing a depth role he has performed like a top liner with eight points over his last five games (five-game point streak). His linemate Laughton also has four points in his last four games and they are playing at home. Philadelphia is simply a different beast on home ice. This season at the Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia, PA) the Flyers holds a 19-5-4 record. Just unreal.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Matt Niskanen (FD: $4,700 | DK: $4,700)

Honorable Mention(s): Toronto Maples Leafs One – Muzzin, St. Louis Blues One – Pietrangelo

2/18 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best

  1. Jordan Binnington (FD: $8,200 | DK: $8,500)
  2. Carter Hart (FD: $8,000 | DK: $7,700)
  3. Carey Price (FD: $8,700 | DK: $7,900)
Honorable Mention(s): Petr Mrazek, Mackenzie Blackwood

Worst

  1. Jonathan Quick (FD: $7,300 | DK: $7,200)
  2. Jonathan Bernier (FD: $7,100 | DK: $7,100)
  3. Marcus Hogberg (FD: $7,400 | DK: $7,600)

2/18 NHL Wild Card of the Day

Zach Hyman (FD: $5,200 | DK: $5,300
– Hyman has just been electric as of late. He is the hardest working Leaf and does something positive every time he touches the puck. Despite a line change mid-way through his current run, he has still found a way to involve himself in goals for Toronto, giving him a 6-game point streak and 12 points in his last 11 games. Hyman possesses a multipoint potential and currently plays on the second power-play unit and the top line with all-stars Matthews and Marner.

Honorable Mention(s): Craig Smith, Markus Nutivaara, Patric Hornqvist

Game Stack of the Day:
TOR1/PIT1
HM: CAR1/NSH3

2/18 NHL Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Aho-Matthews-Hyman – Putting Up Points  Two of the hottest players in hockey and the NHL leader in goals. This should be a lock.

Honorable Mention(s): Auston Matthews – More than 0.5 Goals

Welcome to WinDaily’s newest edition of the NHL Stack and Track! In this article, the 2/17 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in tonight’s slate which has an early start. (4 PM!!!) There are five games for tonight’s main slate, check out the top plays below.

2/17 NHL Stack Report

  1. Colorado Avalanche One $$$
    Landeskog – MacKinnon – Rantanen (FanDuel: $22,800 | DraftKings: $21,000)
    – Finally, the top line is back together. However, its price is rather high. Tonight they will be facing off against a Tampa Bay team who has won their last 10 games and is coming into the mile-high city on rest. This will lower Colorado’s ownership but given the strength of this line, they have the ability to topple Tampa as they did earlier in the season. The Aves are strong at home and are coming off a tough outdoor loss for the stadium series. Tonight will be their night for retribution. Not to mention that MacKinnon is 4th in the NHL in points.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Ryan Graves (FD: $4,000 | DK: $5,400)
  2. New York Islanders One $$
    Eberle – Barzal – Lee (FanDuel: $18,700 | DraftKings: $15,600)
    – Another under-owned line. The Isles are going up against the Arizona Coyotes and their lackluster backup in Adin Hill. This line has been silent over the past couple of games but has overall been electric this week and have multi-point potential. Here’s hoping they have a similar result against Arizona as they did the last time they played this season.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Ryan Pulock (FD: $6,500 | DK: $6,500)
  3. Washington Capitals Two $
    Vrana – Eller – Oshie (FanDuel: $17,100 | DraftKings: $14,500)
Washington’s top line has cooled off significantly and Washington’s second line is beginning to take up the mantle despite the fact their center is out tonight. Given that Kuzy is out, Eller will get an opportunity to impress on the top six for sub 5K, not to mention he also has three points in his last three games.
Ideal Defensive Partner: John Carlson (FD: $7,200 | DK: $7,500)

Honorable Mention(s): Calgary Flames One – Brodie, Florida Panthers Two – Ekblad, Vegas Golden Knights Two – Theodore

2/17 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best

  1. Philipp Grubauer (Francouz if not playing) (FD: $8,400 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Thomas Greiss (FD: $7,900 | DK: $7,200)
  3. David Rittich (FD: $7,300 | DK: $8,200)
    Honorable Mention(s): Andrei Vaskilevskiy

Worst

  1. Adin Hill (FD: $7,200 | DK: $7,900)
  2. Aaron Dell (FD: $7,700 | DK: $8,000)
  3. Ryan Miller (FD: $7,500 | DK: $7,000)

2/17 NHL Wild Card of the Day

Adam Henrique/Troy Terry (FD: $3,000 | DK: $4,000
– This pair is interesting as their prices are tremendously low but they continue to score at a high rate. With Henrique scoring three goals in his last three games along with six points in his last five games and Terry with 11 shots and an assist in just his last two games! Both are tremendously underpriced (especially on DK) and are perfectly suited for GPP punts (or a GPP mini stack, allowing you to splurge on the big guns).

Honorable Mention(s): Mikael Backlund, Christian Dvorak, Dylan Gambrell

Game Stack of the Day:
WAS2/VGK2
HM: COL1/TBL2

2/17 NHL Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Carlson-Pacioretty-Oshie – Putting Up Points  All three players come from the top two lines from today’s recommended game stack. Washington Capitals Two vs Vegas Golden Knights Two

Honorable Mention(s): Alex Ovechkin – Less than 5.5 Fantasy Points

A big part of my life is my three kids. Each one of them holds a different attribute that I would personally use to aid me in deciding what picks to make. My twins Pork and Ribs and their little brother Bean (not their real names but very appropriate nicknames).

Pork is a doer. He is one to dive into a situation and figure it out as it unfolds, usually with great success. In terms of the puck pick, it will be a gut feeling pick and be backed with some stats to explain the feeling.

Ribs, he likes to observe the situation, take in all the information, and then make an educated decision on what his next step will be. His puck pick will be focused around teams that are on hot streaks, either against a team in a matchup or on a winning streak.

Now Bean may sound cute and innocent, but he is a wild man. Not a lot of thought goes into actions and if there is some thought, its geared towards “how can I push Dad’s buttons”. His puck pick will be a little more on the risky side. There will be reasons why I think we should go this way.

As cook by trade and hockey as a passion since I was 3 years old, let’s get some puck picks in the oven and make some dough shall we?

All odds are referenced from vegasinsider.com. The source of information comes from Newsday.sports.gracenote.com unless otherwise specified. I will play ALL the picks mentioned in these articles.

Puck Record for February (33-33) Friday night (2-2)

Bruins and the Penguins took care of business. Vancouver was awful at home against the Ducks and the Devils, no Captain, no Coleman, no problem as they pull out a shootout victory. Sadly not what I had picked. Let’s drop the puck on these picks.

Pork’s Puck Pick- New York Islanders -103

The Islanders have won four of the last five meetings between these two clubs and seven of their last ten. In their last five home games, the Coyotes have only been able to pull out two wins. With newly acquired defenseman Andy Greene joining this seventh-ranked defense, I see the Coyotes have more issues than normal putting the puck in the net. Take the Islanders on the Moneyline!

Rib’s Puck Pick- Las Vegas Golden Knights -117

This should be a great hockey game with two fairly evenly matched teams. The edge in this one for me comes down to two stats. The home team has won seven of the last ten meetings. Washington has struggled to get the puck out of their defensive zone recently. Vegas, on the other hand, has had a problem putting the puck in the net, however, seemed to resolve the issue on February thirteenth with a six-spot on the defending Stanley Cup Champions, St. Louis Blues. The Capitals will also be without their second-line center Evgeni Kuznetsov due to an upper-body injury. I think the offense comes alive again for Peter DeBoer’s Golden Knights and they grind out a high scoring win.

Bean’s Puck Pick- Tampa Bay Lightning-103

The reports were not wrong when they said that Blake Coleman was going to Colorado, he just is not joining the Avalanche. Tampa Bay acquired who at the time was tied for the team lead in points in New Jersey for a first-round pick and prospect Nolan Foote. A good return but I still don’t like it. Anyways, on to this contest. Tampa Bay has won five of the last six games between these clubs and is on a ten-game win streak. Colorado is coming off a loss to the LA Kings and Puck stopper Phillip Grubauer suffered a lower-body injury these teams are two of the best in the league and are fairly evenly matched. One of my favorite matchups for the Stanley Cup Finals if they are both healthy. Have to stick with the hot hand here and take Tampa Bay on the money line.

Thoughts on the other two games

Calgary Flames vs Anaheim Ducks

After a six- nothing win in Anaheim for the Flames this seems like an easy Calgary pick, however, home ice has not been kind to the Flames at the Saddledome. They have lost some ugly games to teams they should beat. This feels like another one of those games. The Flames are coming off an eight-four loss to the Blackhawks on home ice Saturday night. Anaheim beat the Canucks last night in Vancouver by a five to one score. Don’t like either side of the coin here.

San Jose Sharks vs Florida Panthers

Who on earth knows which of either of these teams is going to show up. Florida has not been good lately and needs wins to stay in the playoff hunt. The only problem is they can’t seem to get out of their own way. San Jose has been better as of late and seems to have found a solid puck stopper in Aaron Dell. On that note, the Sharks lost one of their top defensemen in Erik Karlsson last game to a broken thumb. He will not return this season. This is another loss for a team that has struggled to bury the puck. I want to fill Javi Prellezo’s heart with joy and take the Panthers here, but until they show some consistency in their effort, I can’t on good conscience do that.

There are a few other matchups I may like, however it depends who the puck stopper is. Stay tuned to the #nhl and # sports betting tabs on Discord, as well as Twitter for any changes or more potential matchups as more news unfolds!

NHL Update

The NHL Playoff picture is beginning to take shape. With about 70% of the season behind us here are your division leaders and their respective Stanley Cup Odds. The Capitals have maintained their points lead over the surging Penguins, while the Lightning has won 8 in a row in an attempt to catch the Bruins. All 4 teams see their odds stay about the same to win the Stanley Cup, while the entire Pacific Division attempts to sort out who will represent them in the playoffs and who will settle for a Wildcard spot.

Top Two Lines

Las Vegas Two – Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty, William Karlsson

The Golden Knights come in with a healthy 3.46 implied goal total and are -140 home favorites against the struggling Capitals. William Karlsson has returned and he could not find a better landing spot, as the center for the revered Stone/Pacioretty line. With Chandler Stephenson under center for a large portion of their last ten games, this line still has seven full line goals. I would expect the numbers to only continue to trend up with the current arrangement. Las Vegas has been great at home since coming into the league two years ago. Given the Capitals goaltending woes, they might hope what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Calgary One – Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, Elias Lindholm

No doubt, this is a talented line and underpriced, particularly on DraftKings. Calgary has a slate high 3.56 implied goal total and is a -210 favorite, which easily bests Vegas for highest on the slate as well. The Flames are looking to add their trademark logo to your lineups and while you can always mess with the depth lines, these guys have been bringing the fire. Considering all three skaters also share correlation on the first power-play unit, I would just roll with the full line and not try to pick out a two-man stack here.

2/17 NHL DraftKings Rankings

Forwards

  1. Max Pacioretty – Las Vegas Golden Knights – $7,500
  2. Johnny Gaudreau – Calgary Flames – $6,400
  3. Nathan MacKinnon – Colorado Avalanche – $8,500
  4. Alex Ovechkin – Washington Capitals – $8,500
  5. Mark Stone – Las Vegas Golden Knights – $6,300

2/17 Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Max Pacioretty, Mark Stone, Alex Ovechkin – Over 2.5 Points – The daily 2.5 point bet is up to 32/48 as the last article Auston Matthews and Mikko Rantanen got the job done. There is no star shootout on this game which makes things tough. However, I decided to go with the Las Vegas game over the Colorado and Tampa Bay game. I think one of those two is where you’re choosing to pull skaters from.

Puck Record for February (31-31) Friday night (2-2)

Flames laid another egg at home and the streak has finally ended for Detroit vs Boston. Tampa Bay pulled out an ugly win against the Flyers and got their stars back. Dallas took a late 3rd-period goal and a Seguin winner in overtime to get the win. On to a surprisingly large Sunday slate!

Pork’s Puck Pick- Boston Bruins-152 3:30 pm EST start.

Let’s just get the puck stoppers out of the way first. Halak for the Bruins has won four of his last five starts whereas Lundqvist has won1 of his last five. Boston has won the last three meetings whether home or away. Boston ranks higher in goals per game (6th vs 7th) and better in goals against per game (1st vs 20th). Boston has won seven of their last eight, and I believe will have enough to get that record to eight of nine.

Rib’s Puck Pick- Vancouver Canucks- 190

Jacob Markstrom has been fantastic in his last two home starts after allowing five against the Flames on February eighth.. Coming off of a 49 shot shutout against the Chicago in his last start, I expect him to be up to the challenge on this one. With three losses in their last five games allowing 19 pucks in, in that span while only scoring 12 I see Anaheim struggling to keep pace with the much deeper Canucks team.

Bean’s Puck Pick- Pittsburgh Penguins- PUCK LINE. -1.5 (-125)      12:30 EST START.

With Detroit having played Boston last night and started their clear number one puck stopper in Bernier, I am assuming with this pick that Jimmy Howard starts who has not been great. The Penguins have been one of the league’s better offensive teams despite missing a lot of man-games from players like Crosby, Malkin Guentzel. They are sitting eighth in the league in scoring currently going up against the 31st team in goals against.

Zak’s Puck Pick- Columbus Blue Jackets -145

Columbus has won nine of the last ten meetings between these two clubs and I don’t see that trend ending today. With the way these two puck stoppers have been playing I could also play the under 5.5 on this game as well as I could see this being a 3-2 finish. It doesn’t seem like Nico Heiscier will suit up for this contest again, who was the best Devil before getting stitches in his knee. Even though the Blue Jackets haven’t been scoring a lot lately I think they will be strong enough to pull out the win. The under 5.5 at -115 for those interested.

There are a few other matchups I may like, however it depends who the puck stopper is. Stay tuned to the #nhl and # sports betting tabs on Discord, as well as Twitter for any changes or more potential matchups as more news unfolds!

A big part of

A big part of my life is my 3 three kids.

Puck Record for February (29-29) Friday night (3-1)

Those Jets couldn’t burry the puck past Calgarian Aaron Dell. Hit the + ml on the Rangers and the Hurricanes and Penguins didn’t disappoint. Let’s keep puck luck rolling!

Pork’s Puck Pick- Calgary Flames-152

Calgary has been a different team at home, usually in these articles I mean that in a good way, here, on the other hand, that’s not so good. The Flames are 0-4 in their last four home games. The two reasons I like the Flames tonight is that they have scored 6 goals in 3 of their previous 4 matchups. For Chicago, they have struggled to put the puck in the net lately after their explosion of goals a few weeks ago. The Kane, Toews, and Kubalik trio have been struggling to find twine. Chicago has lost their last 5 straight and have only scored eight goals in that span. Backlund has been on an absolute tear as of late and I expect that trend to continue as the Chicago puck stoppers have been in a bit of a rut.

Rib’s Puck Pick- Dallas Stars-106

This will be the second half of a back to back for the Canadians and Carey Price is started the first leg. The Habs have only received 2 wins from their backup goalies this season. The Stars have also beaten the Leafs on Thursday night, who in my opinion are a much better team. Dallas has one of the best puck stopping tandems in the league sitting 3rd overall. As putting the puck in the net has been a problem for both teams, I don’t see this being a high scoring contest, however, Seguin just got the monkey off his back scoring the game-winner against the Leafs. As well Dennis Gurianov has been a revelation putting in 4 pucks in his last five games. Montreal is banged up and their playoff hopes are dwindling quickly. Take the Stars on the money line.

Bean’s Puck Pick- Detroit Red Wings +260

Told you Bean was risky. Ok, hear me out. Last week I surpassed the huge money line and took Boston on the -1.5 pick line. Well, I was wrong and could have made money on a Detroit puck line at -1.5 (didn’t exist pre-game, just strengthening my point). Some teams just have other teams number for whatever reason. Detroit is getting healthier with Bernier and Mantha coming back and have won the last five matchups in a row against the Bruins. I would play this pick real light, but five in a row isn’t something I can ignore on a +260 stat line.

Zak’s Puck Pick- Tampa Bay Lightning -177

The Lightning has won six straight matchups against the Flyers. Philadelphia puck stopper Carter Hart has also struggled on the road. The Bolts are hopeful to get w/3 of their top line back as both Stamkos and Kucharov are both listed as questionable for this one. Keep tuned in toy twitter and Discord for updates on these two. If they are listed as a go, we will need to jump on this line quickly as I’m sure it will plummet.

This article focuses on NHL DFS Picks for 2/15 on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Top Two Lines

Colorado One – Nathan MacKinnon, Andre Burakovsky, Mikko Rantanen, Add-Ons: Ryan Graves, Cale Makar

The Colorado Avalanche edged the Toronto Maple Leafs with a 3.69 implied goal, giving them the highest on the slate. Tonight, the Avs are a heavy -240 favorite and should be able to smack around the visiting Kings. The recent inclusion of Andre Burakovsky into the top unit makes it ever so slightly more affordable. Nathan MacKinnon is the top individual play on this slate and should be the first skater in for any cash games. If looking to add on, I would recommend first-line defensemen, Ryan Graves, on FanDuel where he is cheap and on either side, you can add in Cale Makar who also has power-play correlation, in addition to sharing even-strength time.

Toronto One – Auston Matthews, Mitchell Marner, William Nylander

As mentioned above, Toronto’s implied goal total comes in just below the Avalanche’s and they are the primary tournament pivot off of them. However, in cash games, I would do my best to fit Auston Matthews in with Nathan MacKinnon, with the willingness to make sacrifices from there. Toronto is a much lesser favorite tonight than Colorado at only -170, but this is not the offense’s fault and can be attributed to Ottawa’s higher implied goal total as opposed to the Kings. Ottawa has been much better at home this season and is much likelier to troll us than Los Angeles, so they come in the second spot for me. However, there is no denying their chances of going off tonight.

Nathan MacKinnon, Auston Matthews, Mikko Rantanen – Over 2.5 Points – The daily 2.5 point bet is up to 31/47 as Sidney Crosby individually hit the three-point total. Tonight should be solid as we have some big guns to turn to such as Nathan Mac and Auston Matthews.

Welcome to WinDaily’s newest edition of the NHL Stack and Track! In this article, the 2/15 NHL Stack and Track, we will look at the top NHL stacks at each price range and rank the best and the worst goalie spots to target in the first edition of the NHL Stack and Track during the NBA All-Star game! There are six games for tonight’s main slate, check out the top plays below.

2/15 NHL Stack Report

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs $$$
    Hyman – Matthews – Marner (FanDuel: $21,400 | DraftKings: $21,300)
    – Presuming this line is put back together during the morning skate it will become a top target for many tonight as the offensive juggernaut in the Leafs are facing off again a Sens team who is 27th worst in the league in goals allowed, allowing a whopping 3.3 goals against per game. While Toronto is third in the league in goals (3.52), fourth in the league in shots (33.5) and have the third-best power play in the league this season, converting on over a quarter of their power play opportunities.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Tyson Barrie (FD: $5,600 | DK: $6,000)
  2. Calgary Flames Two $$
    Mangiapane – Backlund – M. Tkachuk (FanDuel: $14,500 | DraftKings: $14,100)
    – This line has largely flown under the radar however Calgary’s top line has been underperforming and often gets matched up with teams best lines, leaving the Flames second line to feast on opportunities which they are more than capable of capitalizing on. The Blackhawks are allowing 3.11 goals against per game and this line has put up sixteen points together in their last five games (6 goals, 10 assists). At their price, they’re definitely a viable option tonight.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Rasmus Andersson (FD: $4,000 | DK: $3,400)
  3. Dallas Stars Two $
    Benn – Dickenson – Gurianov (FanDuel: $14,400 | DraftKings: $12,700)
Like Calgary, Dallas’ top line will most likely be preoccupied with Montreal’s top line leaving the second line to roam free against MTL2, on top of that the Stars are trending upwards embarking on a three-game win streak after a hard-fought win in Toronto, while the Canadiens are coming off their third straight loss, including a 4-1 loss last night against the Penguins. Not to mention the Stars second line has put together five goals in their last two games, while Montreal backup Charlie Lindgren has given up four goals in each of his last three starts.
Ideal Defensive Partner: Miro Heiskanen (FD: $4,400 | DK: $5,000)

Honorable Mention(s): Colorado Avalanche One – Graves, Vegas Golden Knights Two – Theodore

2/15 NHL Goalie Tracker

Best

  1. Philipp Grubauer (FD: $8,400 | DK: $8,300)
  2. Ben Bishop (FD: $8,700 | DK: $7,700)
  3. Jack Campbell (FD: $8,100 | DK: $8,100)
    Honorable Mention(s): David Rittich

Worst

  1. Charlie Lindgren (FD: $7,100 | DK: $7,600)
  2. Jonathan Quick (FD: $7,000 | DK: $6,900)
  3. Marcus Hogberg (FD: $7,300 | DK: $7,100)

2/15 NHL Wild Card of the Day

Denis Gurianov (FD: $4,000 | DK: $4,000
– Like many other young players, Gurianov has really impressed me thus far into his NHL career, and his relatively unknown status will make him a low owned play. In his past five games, he’s posted four goals against established goaltenders. Gurianov will be playing with veteran all-star Jamie Benn, increasing his scoring prowess. On top of that, he will be up against a goaltender who has really struggled to find his feet in the NHL thus far Charlie Lindgren.

Honorable Mention(s): Brandon Saad (with P. Kane), Jason Robertson (GPP Only), Connor Brown (with B. Tkachuk)

Game Stack of the Day:
TOR1/OTT1
HM: CGY2/CHI2

2/15 NHL Monkey Knife Fight NHL Prop Picks – Win With These Picks Here and Get 100 Percent Bonus!

Matthews-MacKinnon-Benn – Putting Up Points  Two players within the top five in the Rocket Richard scoring race (who average more than a point per game) and a third who has four goals in his last three games. Each player will be targeting each of the three “goalies to target” tonight, which should be a lock for 3 points.

Honorable Mention(s): Jaime Benn – More than 2.5 Fantasy Points

Puck Record for February (26-28) last night (1-6)

Not much to say about last night. Upsetting, to say the least. Maybe the Flames have started a new trend of 40+ shot shutouts at the Honda Centre! I’ll take that as some Posijavity!

Pork’s Puck Pick- New York Rangers +108

The road team has won 3 of the last 4 games in this series. Both teams played last night so that should not be a factor. New York pulled out a gutsy come from behind win against the Minnesota Wild, where the Jackets lost to the Sabres in OT. The Rangers I think will continue their road winning streak due to their ability to burry pucks in the net right now.

Rib’s Puck Pick- Pittsburgh Penguins-195

Pittsburgh has been inconsistent as of late seemingly losing one and winning 2. The good news is if this trend is to continue, they are coming off of a loss to a healthier Tampa Bay team in overtime. Montreal also posted loss via the Bruins their last night out. I definitely see the Penguins having the upper hand here. It will be interesting to see where newcomer Jason Zucker will fit in.

Bean’s Puck Pick- Winnipeg Jets -129

The Jets have better firepower and have been showing it with Wheeler and Laine. The San Jose Goaltending Duo has been struggling although Aaron Dell has been playing much better as of late. I think the Jets have enough firepower to win this game at home

Zak’s Puck Pick- Carolina-225

Only a four-game slate let’s do them all. Louis Domingue has been confirmed as the Devils pick stopper and have been more of a puck sieve lately. The Devils did only play Detroit last night but they still had a game while Carolina rested. Carolina is by far the better team here, hence the -225 money line.

There are a few other matchups I may like, however it depends who the puck stopper is. Stay tuned to the #nhl and # sports betting tabs on Discord, as well as Twitter for any changes or more potential matchups as more news unfolds!
