NASCAR Xfinity

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday afternoon’s Xfinity series race from Road America in Kettle Moraine, Wisconsin is one of the fastest road racing tracks in America.

If you have been playing Xfinity Series NASCAR DFS over the last few years you know that Austin Cindric ($11,000) and AJ Allmendinger ($12,000) are road course dominators and we will have a lot of interest in both of these drivers on Saturday. We saw and Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course that Cindric and AJ can be beat when Chase Briscoe ($10,300) took the win.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

I usually will break down my favorites in this section but they are all in play for me. I will be rostering combinations of all the drivers in this top tier (>$9.5K). Obviously Cindric and Allmendinger are the best of the best and they have been the most dominant at road courses of the years. Justin Allgaier ($10,600) has great PD upside starting from P12 and has had success at road course of late as well. In his last 5 road course races he has only finished outside the top 10 once (15th.

Dominator rankings:

  1. AJ Allmendinger (#1 because of PD upside)
  2. Austin Cindric
  3. Justin Allgaier
  4. Chase Briscoe
  5. Daniel Hemric
  6. Noah Gragson

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Andy Lally ($9,100)

Starting Position: 23rd

Andy who you ask? Andy Lally is another road course ringer. I really like this play for two reasons. First, Lally carries a very high price tag and since he isn’t a recognizable name, he might go very low owned. Secondly, Lally starts 23rd and offers up some great place differential upside for a car I believe can come away with a top 10 finish.

Jeremy Clements ($8,600)

Starting Position: 18th

Clements won this race in 2017, so he knows how to get around here. In his last 5 road course races Clements has finished no worse than 13th, and has finished just outside the top 10 three times coming home 11th.

Kaz Grala ($8,200)

Starting Position: 6th

Grala is another driver who may be low owned based on his starting position and price. He has a great history at road courses though, in limited action. Grala finished 5th in this same race last season, and before that he finished 8th in the 2018 Charlotte Roval. Based on his price, a top 10 finish will give us the value we need from Grala.

Other Options: Alex Labbe ($8,800 P21), Myatt Snider ($8,000 P29)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

Preston Pardus ($7,500) … you’re welcome.

Pardus is easily a top 5 play on this entire slate. He starts 37th and is a car that can come home inside the top 15. He will be chalky, but it will be hard to have a full fade and end up with a takedown.

Value Tier Rankings:

  1. Preston Pardus ($7,500 – P37)
  2. Tommy Joe Martins ($6000 – P36)
  3. Josh Bilicki ($6,500 – P30)
  4. Jade Buford ($6,300 – P19)
  5. Joe Graf Jr. ($5,100 – P26)
  6. Stephen Leicht ($4,600 – P15)
  7. Jesse Little ($4,700 – P14)
  8. Scott Heckert ($7,100 – P27)

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday evening’s Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 250 from Kansas Speedway. This race is the fourth and final race of the weekend at Kansas Speedway with the green flag scheduled to drop at 5:18 pm EDT. Saturday’s race is 250 miles, meaning we have 167 laps of racing. With this racing having 167 laps that means we will have 125.25 dominator points available to earn.

When building lineups I am looking to get 2-3 dominators in and finding value at the bottom. Unfortunately, the bottom tier does not give us much, so we will need to dig in and find that value to help us cash. There are two drivers, both in JRM Chevy’s, that start 10th and 11th that will be key to winning on Saturday because they will be the PD drivers of this race in the top price tier. Noah Gragson ($10,300) & Justin Allgaier ($10,600) are the drivers mentioned in the previous sentence and will be keys, albeit chalky keys, to winning some green on Saturday

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

This tier is simple, load up on the top 4 highest priced drivers and find value in other places. Both Austin Cindric ($11,200) and Chase Briscoe ($10,900) have been the hottest drivers in the series this season, Briscoe dominating earlier this season and Cindric currently dominating with 3 straight victories. You take these to drivers and add them with the aforementioned Gragson and Allgaier and this is where I am starting all my builds (with two of these drivers in each lineup).

Another driver with dominator potential for me is Ross Chastain ($10,000). Chastain ran the Truck Series race on Friday night so he has been on the track and has a feel for what he needs to do to run well. Ross Chastain leads all Xfinity drivers in top 10’s this season, a stat that surprised me when I saw it earlier. In 16 races in 2020, Chastain has 14 top 10 finishes, and six top 5’s. I think Chastain can be a sneaky low owned potential dominator on Saturday. I was able to build a lineup I am comfortable using with three dominators (Gragson/Allgaier/Chastain), so it is doable.

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Myatt Snider ($9,200)

Starting Position: 33rd

Myatt Snider is having a very solid season as he splits his time between two teams. This week Snider is back in the #93, while Kaz Grala ($7,700) is in the 21 for RCR. Grala starts 3rd and could be a low owned GPP play in really good equipment. Snider is great at making green-flag passes as he has averaged 42.75 green flag passes per race over his last 8 races, including two races during which he made 75 green flag passes.

Brett Moffitt ($8,300)

Starting Position: 23rd

Moffitt, like the previously mentioned Chastain, ran the Truck race on Friday night and had a great performance finishing 2nd. Over his last 6 races, Moffitt has a top 5, three top 10’s and five top 20’s. With Moffitt starting 23rd and being priced the way his, allows us to roster him with 3 dominators and earn big PD points.

Colin Garrett ($7,600)

Starting Position: 37th

Garrett has only raced 4 times in the Xfinity Series this season, with a 21st and 14th place finishes sandwiched in between two finishes in the 30’s. I think Garrett has some the best upside as any driver in the field, and at his price, it won’t take much for him to hit 4-5X value.

Other Options: Brandon Jones ($9,400) Justin Haley ($9,000), Michael Annett ($7,900), Kaz Grala (GPP) ($7,700)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

  1. Ryan Vargas ($7,000 – P30)
  2. Joe Graf ($6,200 – P34)
  3. Timmy Hill ($7,100 – P21)
  4. Josh Williams ($6,800 – P24)
  5. Kyle Weatherman ($5,900 – P35)
  6. Vinnie Miller ($6,400 – 36th)

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday, July 18 Xfinity Series from Fort Worth, Texas! I would also like to welcome you to $17,000 Kyle Busch chalk day! If you are in the WinDailySports Discord channel you saw me mention that we are playing Kyle in the Xfinity and Truck series this weekend even though he is priced WAY up. I will go into detail in a minute. We have a 200 lap race here with 150 dominator points available and I expect the majority of them to be split between two drivers, keep reading to find out who.

Texas Motor Speedway will run similar to what we saw in Kentucky last week with only one real groove on the track so the teams with the best equipment will be the ones we want to target. Obviously we have salary restrictions and cannot get all the top teams in but DraftKings priced the slate in a way that makes it easier to build good lineups with Kyle Busch’s salary.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

Kyle Busch ($17,000)

Starting Position: 28th

Is Kyle Busch expensive? Yes. Is he worth paying up for? Also, yes. I know it seems like a steep price to pay, but with Kyle starting 28th and being the best driver in this race he will make value. I have no doubt about that (unless he gets wrecked coming through the field) and with his starting position being so far back we can get a top 5 finish from Kyle without dominator points and he’ll still make value. Even though I say we don’t need dominator point from Busch, we will get them as I think he leads the majority of the second half of this race.

Chase Briscoe ($11,300)

Starting Position: 12th

If you are making multiple lineups and want to fade Kyle in any of them, Briscoe is my favorite play after him. Briscoe has 5 wins on the season with 2 of them coming on 1.5-mile tracks. In his seven 1.5-mile races this season, Briscoe also has four top 5’s, six top 10’s, and an average finish of 6.3. Starting in the 12th spot we get the next best place differential after Kyle Busch with Chase Briscoe as well.

Austin Cindric ($10,800)

Starting Position: 3rd

Here is other dominator I mentioned in the open who I think leads the beginning part of this race. Cindric has dominated at 1.5-mile tracks this season and swept both races last week in Kentucky in dominating fashion. This season Cindric has led nearly 400 laps on mile and a half tracks and has 240 fastest laps. I will be pairing Cindric in lineups with Busch in them to try and maximize as many dominator points as I can.

Other Options: Noah Gragson ($10,400)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Anthony Alfredo ($8,300)

Starting Position: 10th

We will need to focus more on the value tier to fit Kyle Busch into our lineups but if you have the salary to fit Alfredo in, he is a good choice. Anthony Alfredo has been in 5 races at 1.5-mile tracks this season with four of those resulting in top 10 finishes. Alfredo has some great equipment in his RCR Chevy with the team that one back to back Xfinity Series championships in 2018 and 19.

Justin Haley ($8,100)

Starting Position: 11th

Haley is my favorite play in this tier especially since he is starting outside the top 10 and DraftKings dropped his price this week from $9.5K last week. In his last eight races, Haley has four top 5 finishes including a win at Talladega back in June. Haley has a top 5 car seeming every week over the last 4 races and I think another top 5 will happen on Saturday.

Other Options: Brandon Jones ($9,100), Jeremy Clements ($8,700), Tommy Joe Martins ($7,500)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

we are going to live in this tier this weekend, but luckily we have a plethora of options, with Brett Moffitt ($7,100), Ryan Sieg ($6,500), and Colby Howard ($5,700). Moffitt is the riskiest play, making him the best GPP value play and Howard is my favorite value play overall. In his last 6 races, Howard has 5 finishes of 21st or better with four of them being inside the top 20.

Value Tier Rankings:

  1. Colby Howard ($5,700 – P35)
  2. Brett Moffitt ($7,100 – P15)
  3. Ryan Sieg ($6,500 – P18)
  4. Jesse Little ($5,200 – P30)
  5. Stefan Parsons ($4,800 – P26)
  6. Kyle Weatherman ($5,100 – P33)
  7. Josh Williams ($6,400 – P24)

We are back with the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop Xfinity Series 7/10/20 race on Friday night with the Alsco 300 from Kentucky Speedway for DraftKings. Since I am writing this article during Thursday night’s race I don’t have starting positions, but I will be posting them on Twitter and updating some plays (if needed) on Twitter and in the Discord.

Friday night’s race is 200 laps, as opposed to the 134 they on Thursday, so that will give us a good amount more of dominator points. This will make picking the right dominators even more key. As I am watching this race (written with 48 to go) Noah Gragson ($11,200) has absolutely dominated this race until the caution flags ruined his race. Austin Cindric ($10,200) earned his first non-road course victory, and both Allgaier and Briscoe looked equally fast.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

I could basically copy and paste this section from Thursday night’s race, but I won’t. No matter how this race shakes out the “big 4” all looked good and will be using these same cars on Friday. You will need at least 2 in your lineups if you plan on cashing in my opinion.

Two other plays that you can fit in with two of the four listed will be Brandon Jones ($9,800) and Justin Haley ($9,500). Jones wrecked on lap 1, turn 1 on Thursday and because of this, he will be starting dead last so he is the obvious place differential play. Jones will be extremely chalky, but you will most likely need to play him to compete for a takedown as he will most likely have the highest DK point total. As for Haley, he had a great race and has four top 6 finishes in his last six races (not including Thursday).

Other Options: Harrison Burton ($10,000), Ross Chastain ($10,200)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Riley Herbst ($8,500) will be a great play once again on Friday. Herbst put on a show and came home 2nd on Thursday which will have him starting 14th on Friday. I believe another top 5 is in the cards for Herbst on Friday. He is a lock for me if you are building one lineup, and I will be overweight on him in my lineups.

I know I am repeating myself again, but Brandon Brown ($7,800) will be a great play again. If it wasn’t for Justin Haley, Brown would have had a top 10 finish. Brown will now stat in the late 20’s on Friday and he will be another great place differential play Friday night.

Anthony Alfredo ($9,100) had a great night with a 6th place finish and will start 10th on Friday in a car that seemed to improve as the race went along. Alfredo is expensive, but I think he is a better play than Myatt Snider ($9,300) now that he is on the pole.

Other Options: Michael Annett ($8,900), Ryan Sieg ($7,600)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier

Daniel Hemric ($7,400) takes over for Jeb Burton in the JRM #8 Chevy on Friday and will be scored from 34th even though he will move to the back because of the driver change, but that doesn’t affect him as a play since it’s only 2 spots. Hemric will need to navigate the field early, but I think the top 10 is where Hemric ends up.

  1. Vinnie Miller – $4,800: Starts 23rd, but at his price, he can make value even if he drops a few spots
  2. Timmy Hill – $7,100
  3. Kody Vanderwal – $5,500
  4. Matt Mills – $4,700
  5. Tommy Joe Martins – $6,900 – Price is steep, but he starts 33rd and has the potential for a top 25
  6. Colby Howard – $4,900

NASCAR DFS Pit Stop: Xfinity Series 7/9/20

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop: Xfinity Series 7/9/20 for Thursday night’s Shady Rays 200 Xfinity Series race from Kentucky Speedway! Thursday’s race is the first of two races on back to back nights from Kentucky and will have Noah Gragson ($10,600) on the pole joined by Ross Chastain ($10,000) on the front row. Of these two drivers, only Gragson is of interest to me, this is not to say Chastain isn’t playable but I won’t be using him at this salary. In 8 races here, Chastain has 1 top ten and an average finish of 18.4

Only Stephen Leicht ($5,300) has a win of the drivers in the field, so there will be a first-time winner on Thursday. I haven’t heard anything yet about Leicht being a start and park as of writing, but if I find anything out about him or any other drivers I will update in discord and/or on my Twitter.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

There are 4 drivers I want to use in this category and they are the top 4 priced drivers (ranked in order of preference):

  1. Austin Cindric ($10,900) – starting 12th
  2. Noah Gragson ($10,600) – starting 1st
  3. Chase Briscoe ($11,400) – starting 7th
  4. Justin Allgaier ($10,300) – starting 10th

These 4 drivers have been the most dominant in the Xfinity Series all season and account for 7 wins (out of 13) and have led a combined 1,208 laps this season. I will be rostering combinations of the 4 of them in all of my lineups on Thursday, and I suggest you do the same.

Briscoe is the hottest of the 4 with back to back wins at Pocono and Indy, and also won earlier this season at Las Vegas which is a comparable track to Kentucky. Briscoe led 89 laps there, followed by Cindric who led 39 and finished 2nd. I rank both Cindric and Gragson ahead of Briscoe because of the place differential points possible for Cindric and the fact I think Gragson leads the majority, if not all, of the laps in Stage 1. All 4 of these drivers finished top 8 in Las Vegas back in February as well.

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Myatt Snider ($9,300)

Starting Position: 28th

Snider has really found his groove and is looking to add to the great run he is currently on. Coming into Kentucky, Snider has positive place differential in 7 of his last 8 races, and has 4 finishes of 16th or better in his last 5 races. Snider is back in #93 this week with Anthony Alfredo ($8,200) back in the RCR #21 this week. Alfredo isn’t a terrible play this week starting 11th, but there are better plays in this tier.

Riley Herbst ($8,400)

Starting Position: 23rd

Herbst has some bad luck late in the race last week at Indy and came home 33rd after running in or around the top 10 most of the day. Looking back to Vegas earlier this year, Herbst finished in 9th and quietly ran a solid race. We know he has a fast car because every JGR Toyota is fast it seems. Herbst should be a threat to finish inside the top 10 again this week and will make value easily if he does.

Brandon Brown ($7,500)

Starting Position: 19th

Brandon Brown is a small team that actually has good equipment and is a contender every week for a solid finish. In 4 races at Las Vegas and Kentucky in his career, Brown has an average finish of 15.25 and left Sin City with an 11th place finish in February of this year.

Other Options: Justin Haley ($9,100) -Don’t sleep on Haley he has the potential to steal the win from the big 4, Jeremy Clements ($8,900), Jeb Burton ($8,500), Tommy Joe Martins ($7,700) – I don’t love his price but I really think he catches a break this week and comes home with a top 25

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier

Like I did last week, I will be ranking my plays in this tier. In the Xfinity, and Truck Series’ it is all about the top tier drivers. We need to find the right value piece, or two, to make our lineups work. Drivers in this tier will not win races, and on most days won’t even crack the top 15, so it’s key to find the drivers who can get you the place differential points needed.

  1. Vinnie Miller ($6,100) – starting 34th
  2. Jesse Little ($5,000) – starting 14th – Has 6 straight top 20 finishes
  3. Joe Graf Jr. ($6,600) – starting 31st
  4. Chad Finchum ($6,400) – starting 32nd
  5. Stephen Leicht ($5,300) – starting 29th – Has back to back 27th place finishes and appears to have a sponsor this week
  6. Ryan Sieg ($7,200) – starting 8th – Sieg finished 3rd in Vegas and will need to again to have a chance at making value

DraftKings NASCAR XFINITY: Contender Boats 250

In this article, we will be diving into the DraftKings side of the NASCAR XFINITY: Contender Boats 250!

TOP TIER

Justin Allgaier $10,900 This is a place differential dream. Look for JA to finish solidly in the top 10.

Noah Gragson $9,800 Expect the strong cars of Saturday’s race to show up strong for the back half of the doubleheader. Noah was the dominant car for the race and should be so again.

Chase Briscoe $11,400 Chase may get to the lead first and once there, it may be hard to take it away. His price is high and the fade paid off on Sat but Sun may see him grab the lead and put on a show.

Also consider: AJ Allmendinger( place differential with an exorbitant salary), Ausrin Cindric, Harrison Burton, Daniel Hemric

MID TIER

Anthony Alfredo $7,900

Ryan Sieg* $7,300

Tommy Joe Martins $8,200

Bayley Curry $7,000

PUNT TIER

Riley Herbst* $6,800

Joe Graf Jr $6,300

Colin Garrett $5,300

Colby Howard $5,600

With the lineup format, none of the punts will accrue many points so if you choose to roster this deep then expect a loss of 5-10 differential points and a 15-25th finish minus Herbst who has the equipment to finish top 10.

Good luck and bet light as this race’s format is not conducive to DFS plays.
