6/5 LCS League of Legends Breakdown and plays

Welcome to my 6/5 LCS League of Legends Breakdown and plays. We are into the second day of the LCS split and we had some surprising upsets yesterday with C9 and 100T losing to two of the bottom teams in the league. We have another 5 game slate today and I am looking to give you the plays to make today profitable.

My favorite overall play on the slate today is going to once again be C9, yes they lost yesterday but they also had an astonishing 22 kills. Combine this with one of the bloodier teams in the LCS with 100T who just suffered a massive upset loss to Immortals I am keying in on C9 today to put up big numbers.

For a bit of a value favorite, I am really liking DIG again today, this is a young team who had all of the spring split to learn how to play together and you could see their chemistry yesterday against EG. Dardoch is finally starting to show his potential and combine that with his teammate in Neo lookout. I think DIG is going to be a powerhouse this split and expect them to win again here today.

I do not believe there is going to be an odds-based upset today, if anything the closest match is going to be between GG and Immortals though that’s not something I want to touch on. CLG and TL is going to be a very lopsided match, even with the unexpected benching of Alphari. Look to TL as a cash-game play and not much more. Lastly, we have EG/TSM and this is another close match but I can see it becoming a high kill affair with TSM taking the win.

My favorite plays from each position today are as follows

TOP: Fudge, Huni, FakeGod

JG: Dardoch, Blabber, Spica

MID: Perkz, PowerOfEvil

ADC: Neo, K1ng, Lost

SUP: Aphromoo, Vulcan, SwordArt

Thank you for reading my 6/5 LCS League of Legends Breakdown and plays and I am really liking today’s slate. Don’t be afraid to go after some of these upsets today and let’s look to crush!! 6/4 LCS League of Legends Best plays and Picks

Welcome to the first day of the LCS split where I am looking to give you the best plays and picks on our opening slate!! We have five games today and some upsets that I will be looking to take advantage of today!!

Instead of our normal breakdown today I am going to give you my two favorites and two underdogs that will help in building your lineups today. One of the favorites that I want to touch on today is C9, they ended the spring split in the driver’s seat going to MSI to represent NA, I expect them to continue their dominance over the NA LOL scene with their switch of ADC’s to K1ng from Zven. C9 is the top overall cash play on this slate and I expect them to crush today.

The second favorite I want to touch on is 100T who have finally fixed their mid-lane issues by picking up Abbedagge from S04. The rest of the roster is returning and I believe that will be key to them picking up a win today over Immortals by being able to play through their bot lane in FBI and Huhi, my favorite roster construction today consists of using FBI and captain so look for that when building your lines.

DIG vs EG is going to be a very close matchup today and I will be taking the underdog here in DIG, though I would not be against hedging this matchup as the winner here will most likely be in the optimal lineup due to the nature of these two teams. DIG likes to play through their bot lane with Neo leading the way, look at them for salary relief today.

The last pick I have is CLG beating out FlyQuest. This is another match where I am expecting the underdog to take it as CLG has Pobelter on their roster for the entire split instead of Rjs. Both of these teams are scrappy and I expect that this could end up as a high kill potential match and one that runs on into the late game where CLG flourishes.

For each position my favorite plays today are

Top: Fudge, FakeGod

JG: Blabber, Clozer, Dardoch

MID: Perkz, Abbedagge

ADC: FBI, K1ng, Neo

SUP: Huhi, Vulcan

Thank you for reading today’s 6/4 LCS League of Legends Best plays and Picks and I am excited for the results of today’s slate. LOL DFS: Naldo’s Legendary LOL LCS Picks for 8/7

Today we will be looking at the LOL LCS two-game slate 2020 Summer Split on 8/7/2020 @ 9:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top three targets for cash games for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

8/7 LCS Slate Breakdown

Team Dignitas (DIG)(+425) vs. Cloud 9 (C9)(-750).

TEAM Dignitas Cloud9 [CASH]
VIPERLICORICE
DARDOCHBLABER
FENIXNISQY
JOHNSUNZVEN
APHROMOOVULCAN

This is a pretty straight forward matchup, I have nearly zero exposure to Team Dignitas given that Cloud 9 are one of the top three teams in the LCS and I firmly believe they are highly motivated to win this game to at least attempt at getting the lead over TSM in the standings. Team Dignitas is in a must win situation  if they want to push forward to get in the playoffs, which says a lot about the skill gap between top teams and the bad ones since DIG is 4-12 for the season with a legit shot to make the playoffs. Cloud 9 is the clear favorite in every statistical record given for this match with good reasoning. Cloud9 is your cash lock for the slate.

 LCS Favorite Plays:
  1. Cloud 9
  • (TOP) Licorice
  • (JNG) Blaber
  • (ADC) Zven
  • (SUP) Vulcan

LCS Pick to win: Cloud 9

Team SoloMid (TSM)(-175) vs. Golden Guardians (GG)(+125).

TEAM SoloMid [CASH]Golden Guardians [GPP]
BROKEN BLADEHAUNTZER
SPICACLOZER
BJERGSENDAMONTE
DOUBLELIFTFBI
TREATZHUHI

Team SoloMid is the clear cash game option here as the ownership suggests so as well as the matchup. Team SoloMid comes in with a nice 11-5 record tied with Cloud 9 as one of the best teams in the LCS. Golden Guardians are not so far behind with a respectable record of 9-7. Overall the matchup should be a fun one and while I do suggest TSM for cash, there is no doubt that I will also have some Golden Guardian shares as they have been on a decent roll as of late. Golden Guardians actually lead  in terms of in game stats, except FB/FT ratio where TSM seems to be the more likely aggressor of the match.

I am expecting a very competitive game throughout most of the game unless TSM just finds a way to get ahead early due to their aggression and early game. I do have TSM to win the match, but wouldn’t be surprised if GG won either. Considering TSM will be highly owned across the board, GG are an intriguing gpp option to get away from the field.

 LCS Favorite Plays:
  • Team SoloMid (Cash option)
  • (JNG) Spica
  • (MID) Bjergsen
  • (ADC) Doublelift
  • (SUP) Treatz
  • Golden Guardians (GPP)
  • (TOP) Hauntzer
  • (JNG) Clozer
  • (MID) Damonte
  • (ADC) FBI

LCS Pick to win:  Team Solomid

League of Legends: Naldo’s Legendary LOL LCS Picks 7/5

Today we will be looking into a two-game slate of the LOL LCS 2020 Summer Split on 7/5/2020 @ 4:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

Cloud9 (C9)(-1200) vs Team Dignitas (DIG) (+575).

The easiest matchup you can come across for the day, making Cloud 9 the lock of the day against a mediocre Dignitas team. Whatever happened yesterday you might as well delete it from your mind because there is no way the last team still without a win can beat C9…..right? I am still getting a headache over the major upsets from yesterday. Hoping to make a nice bounce-back spot today. C9 is the start of everything getting back on track. So I will have near full exposure across the board of C9 and move on with my day.

DIG did add  Dardoch and MidFenix who in my opinion are decent players but I don’t think they will have what it takes against C9 on their first game together.

LCS Cloud 9 Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Licorice (JNG) Blaber (MID) Nisqy (ADC) Zven (SUP) Vulcan

LCS DIG Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Lourlo (JNG) Dardoch (MID) MidFenix (ADC) Johnsun (SUP) Aphromoo

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Blaber (Top Optimal  option)
  • (MID) Nisqy (Top gpp option)
  • (ADC) Zven (Top gpp option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Cloud 9

FlyQuest (FQ)(-105) vs Team Liquid (TL)(-135).

FlyQuest is in my opinion the best team after Cloud 9 in the LCS. They are just coming off an impressive win over Evil Geniuses who looked to inform the past few games. Team Liquid just finished having trouble with a very mediocre team in Immortals. For some reason, FlyQuest has been the underdog in both games including this one and I do not understand it but I will not fight it.

I am expecting FQ to roll here, as always led by PowerofEvil and company. Their price makes them for a nice cash play along with C9. Win or lose FlyQuest has a decent floor, and an even better upside when they go up against aggressive teams.

LCS FQ Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Solo (JNG) Santorin (MID) PowerOfEvil (ADC) Mash  (SUP) Ignar

LCS TL Starting Lineup:(TOP) Impact (JNG) Broxah (MID) Jensen (ADC) Tactical  (SUP) CoreJJ

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Solo (Top value option)
  • (JNG) Santorin (Top cheap Gpp option)
  • (MID)  PowerOfEvil (Top CAPTAIN option)
  • (ADC) MasH (Top Gpp option)
  • (SUP) IgNar (Value Option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: FlyQuest

Evil Geniuses (EG)(-650) vs Immortals (IMT)(+375).

Evil Geniuses is a top team in the LCS, at least much better than an IMT team that looks horrible out there in the rift. This is an easy pick as Vegas also thinks that way. EG should punish IMT the same way TL punished them. I will say that IMT had some flashes and even showed life and almost took the game from TL.

EG is not Team LIquid and I am expecting the league’s fastest in finishing games to make this quick. This team is having major internal problems, so not expecting them to do well anytime soon. Run EG in your cash games, run EG in your gpp if you think they farm IMT all game. You should feel safe rostering them.  EG got humiliated by FlyQuest so I’m expecting them to bounce back with a vengeance.

EG Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Kumo  (JNG) Svenrensken (MID) Jizuke (ADC) Bang  (SUP) Zeyzal

IMT Projected Starting Lineup:(TOP) Allorim (JNG) xmithie (MID) Insanity (ADC) Apollo  (SUP) Hakuho

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG)  Svenrensken (Cheap option)
  • (MID)  JIzuke (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Bang (Top Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Evil Geniuses

LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Counter Logic Gaming
  2. Team SoloMid
  3. Team Liquid

You can always find me in the Win Daily Sports discord or on twitter @champagneravens and ask me any question about the LOL slate, and I will 100% be there to help out. Thanks for reading Naldo’s LCS 7/5/20 targets.

League of Legends: Naldo’s Legendary LOL LCS Picks 7/3

Today we will be looking into a two-game slate of the LCS 2020 Summer Split on 7/3/2020 @ 9:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

Cloud 9 (C9) (-1000):

There is not really much to say here or dive into. Cloud 9 is the most dominant team in the LCS at the moment. Expect Cloud 9 to be 70%+ owned across the board. Your stacks and everyone’s stack should focus on C9 and there is no debating it. I know some of you will be crazy enough to play some Counter Logic Gaming, and you are just that…crazy. But as crazy as that sounds, anything can happen in a Bo1 game. With that said I will take a stand and have 100% exposure to C9.

LCS C9 PROJ Starting Lineup: (TOP) Licorice (JNG) Blaber (MID) Nisqy (ADC) Zven (SUP) Vulcan

LCS CLG PROJ Starting Lineup: (TOP) Ruin (JNG) Wiggily (MID) Pobelter (ADC) Stixxay (SUP) Smoothie

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Blaber (Top optimal/cheap option)
  • (MID) Nisqy  (Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Zven (Optimal option)
  • (SUP) Vulcan (Cheap option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Cloud 9

100Thieves (100T) (-110) vs Golden Guardians (GG)(-125):

One of those games where I will just say to have both sides if you are playing the slate. While the first game was pretty straight forward, this game that we have in our hands is a “pickems” Naturally I would side with Golden Guardians here, but they do not convince me at all. They have been pretty inconsistent, and while 100Thieves are too, they are at least making changes in their roster to help improve it.

100Thieves brought forward from their academy roster both Contractzz at JNG and Poome at SUP. It is not a noticeable move, but a move in the right direction in my opinion. Because we have two inconsistent teams, I will side with the one that is making moves in hopes to actually improve their gameplay.

LCS 100T PROJ Starting Lineup: (TOP) Summday (JNG) Contractzz (MID) Ryoma (ADC) Cody Sun  (SUP) Poome

LCS GG PROJ Starting Lineup: (TOP) Hauntzer  (JNG) Clozer (MID) Damonte (ADC) FBI (SUP) Huni

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (MID) Ryoma (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Cody Sun (Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: 100Thieves

Notes: Very even matchup, liking 100Thieves here but will have even shares of Golden Guardians for sure.

LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Golden Guardians [Should be the popular option here in cash games]
  2. Counter Logic Gaming [SUPER HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD]

You can always find me in the Win Daily Sports discord or on twitter @champagneravens and ask me any question about the LOL LCS slate, and I will 100% be there to help out. Thanks for reading Naldo’s 7/3 targets.

League of Legends: Naldo’s Legendary 6/27 LOL LCS Picks

Today we will be looking into a two-game slate of the LOL LCS 2020 Summer Split on 6/27/2020 @ 4:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

Team Liquid (TL)(-385) vs Team Dignitas (DIG) (+260).

First off we have Team Liquid coming in hot with a solid record in the standings of 3-1. Possessing a solid gold differential of +316 at the 15-minute mark. Compared to Dignitas -1045. This is a game where Team Liquid will try to capitalize more on the early game as they are the aggressors here in this game with a 100% first blood success rate the past 4 games.

Team Liquid is the clear aggressor here and I am expecting this game to get active quick. There are rumors that Lourol is being promoted to the pro roster so we might see him here since V1per got demoted to the academy league. I am picking Team Liquid here, as a near-lock for cash games today.

TL Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Impact (JNG) Broxah (MID) Jensen (ADC) Tactical (SUP) CoreJJ
DIG Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Luroul (JNG) Aakaadian (MID) Froggen (ADC) Jhonsunn (SUP) Aphroomo

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Broxah (Cheap option)
  • (MID) Jensen(Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Tactical (Top Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Team Liquid

Evil Geniuses (EG)(-210) vs Team SoloMid (TSM)(+150)

These two teams are pretty decent, but there is no doubt that Evil Geniuses are close to the top 5 of the leaderboards if not top 3. WE have Evil Geniuses that struggle in the early game when it comes to farming but nothing really significant. Evil Geniuses in comparison lead the gold differential by about +1086 by the 15-minute mark. This suggests  EG normally starts becoming more live towards the mid, and late game.

I am expecting Evil Geniuses to take stabs early in the game at an attempt to gain control of the game. But I am fully expecting EG to clean up the mid-game and get more aggressive. I am not expecting this game to have a lot of upsides, but will for sure provide a decent floor for your cash game needs.

EG Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Kumo (JNG) Svenskeren (MID) Jizuke (ADC) Bang  (SUP) Zeyzal
TSM Starting Lineup:(TOP) Broken Blade (JNG) Spica (MID) Bjergsen (ADC) Doublelift  (SUP) Biofrost

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (MID)  Jizuke (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Bang (Top Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Evil Geniuses

Counter Logic Gaming (CLG)(+115) vs 100 Thieves (100)(-160).

We got a game here that might not be the sexiest of matchups as both teams do have a tendency to play slow and control the map. It’s going to get to a point where both teams won’t be able to keep their distance and attempt to change the pace of the game by getting an early pick. I believe CLG has been the perfect example of that, they never settle, always finding ways to get ahead in the game even when they are behind. I am expecting CLG to push the pace to take control.

100T has been everything but impressive this split, compared to CLG who are actually starting off with a hot 3-1 record. Given the statistics, I will side with CLG here to control the game early on forcing 100T to fight more than their typical playstyle taking them out of their comfort zone. I will take the underdog here, hoping for near minimum ownership in deep gpp.

CLG Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) Ruin (JNG) Wiggily (MID) Poberter (ADC) Stixxray  (SUP) Smoothie

100T Projected Starting Lineup: (TOP) ssumday (JNG) Meteos (MID) Ryoma (ADC) Cody Sun  (SUP) Stunt

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG)  Wiggily (Cheap option)
  • (MID)  Poberter (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Stixxray (Top Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Counter Logic Gaming

LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Golden Guardians
  2. 100Thieves

You can always find me in the Win Daily Sports discord or on twitter @champagneravens and ask me any question about the LOL LCS slate, and I will 100% be there to help out. Thanks for reading Naldo’s 6/27 targets.

League of Legends: Naldo’s Legendary LOL LCS Picks

Today we will be looking into a two-game slate of the LOL LCS 2020 Summer Split on 6/26/2020 @ 9:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

FlyQuest (FQ)(-240) vs Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) (+170).

FlyQuest is arguably the second-best team of the LCS right behind Cloud 9. They are going up against Counter Logic who is considered to be a very questionable team as far talent goes but here they are with a solid record of 3-1. I will say I cannot give these guys all the credit for this record as their only decent win has been against Golden Guardians. We have two teams that are equals in the standings but FlyQuest has the much advantage skill talent being led by PowerofEvil and the newly added Mash who has been a shot of fresh air to a lineup that was even strong with WildTurtle. I like the idea of Fly developing new talent in LOL.

FlyQuest carries a 75% rate of first blood in matches suggesting they are very aggressive since the start compared to CLG’s 25% first blood rate.  FlyQuest stats on paper and in-game are just superior, more importantly, averaging about 17.3 KPG with a team K/D average of 2.3 and a 70% kill participation being their lowest percentage average of all the players.  With that said I will be having most of my exposure riding on this team. (70% FLY/ 30% CLG)

FQ Starting Lineup: (TOP) Solo (JNG) Santorin (MID) PowerofEvil (ADC) Mash (SUP) Ignar
CLG Starting Lineup:(TOP) Ruin (JNG) Wiggily (MID) Poberter (ADC) Stixxray (SUP) Smoothie

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  •  (TOP) Solo (Cheap option)
  • (JNG) Santorin (Cheap option)
  • (MID) PowerofEvil (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Mash (Top Gpp option)
  • (SUP) Ignar (Cheap option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: FlyQuest Gaming (CLG as deep gpp shot)

Cloud 9 (C9)(-360) vs Team Liquid (TL)(+250).

There is no doubt that C9 is a very talented team and that they are the top team of this LOL league. So much that they make the opponents look like casuals with their team fighting and objective control. I mean Vulcan their support has an incredible KDA of 46.0. It’s safe to say these guys are on another level. And their confidence, outside of the game is unmatched. This is a very fun team to watch in and outside of the game.

Team Liquid is good, but not near as good as Cloud9 and it’s not even close. I just do not picture this team winning. They just got off a horrible loss against EG that I thought they should have won. Given that these games are all best of one, I would not be mad if you wanted to go against the grain here and take a shot at the ultimate gpp option today in TL. Go in expecting to lose any money you put up betting on them so you are not disappointed.

Cloud 9 Starting Lineup: (TOP) Licorice (JNG) Blaber (MID) Nisqy (ADC) Zven  (SUP) Vulcan

Team Liquid Starting Lineup:(TOP) Impact (JNG) Broxah (MID) Jensen (ADC) Tactical  (SUP) CoreJJ

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Licorice (Cheap option)
  • (JNG) Blaber (Top Cheap option)
  • (MID)  Nisqy (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Zven (Optimal option)
  • (SUP) Vulcan (Top cheap option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Cloud 9

LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Counter Logic Gaming [30% exposure]
  2. Team Liquid [20% exposure]

You can always find me in the Win Daily Sports discord or on twitter @champagnravens and ask me any question about the LOL LCS slate, and I will 100% be there to help out. Thanks for reading Naldo’s 6/26 targets.

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/19 LOL LCS Breakdown

Today we will be looking into a two-game slate of the LOL LCS 2020 Summer Split on 6/19/2020 @ 9:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

Golden Guardians (GG) (-145):

We got two teams that are struggling to look impressive to start the LOL LCS season. Golden Guardians are believed to be the better team overall and should have a decent season in the long run. The loss against Team Liquid was unexpected, but so has a lot of other wins by huge underdogs in week one. On paper, this game should not be as close as it is in the books. Golden Guardians are a much-balanced team in my opinion.

They work together and have a CS differential of +40 around the 15-minute mark so they are clearing pretty well. The problem lies in closing out the game. They control the map, capturing the first tower at 100%, and wards at a 61% rate within the first two games. I am thinking they play a more clean game against CLG on the road to win the game after learning from previous mistakes. CLG is not the greatest of teams, if anything they are a bottom of the standings team and this is a great spot for GG to bounce back. Don’t be afraid to go 50/50 on exposure if you are making multiple lineups.

LOL LCS Starting Lineup: (TOP) Hauntzer (JNG) Closer (MID) Damonte (ADC) FBI (SUP) Huni

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Closer ($6,600) (Cheap option)
  • (MID) DAMONTE ($7,200) (Optimal option)
  • (ADC) FBI ($7,600) (Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Golden Guardians. (CLG as deep gpp shot)

Team SoloMid (TSM) (-280):

This is a game that I very much dislike much more than the slate itself. I believe TSM are big favorites largely because of the names on this current roster. Broken Blade, Bjergsen, and Doublelift had their success before and still carry a lot of hype behind them. Problem is, they have not played how everyone thought they would and often look very sloppy. Giving the assumptions for a lot of leaguers that the stars of this team are somewhat washed up and no longer performing how they once did.

Another reason they are heavy favorites is that they are going up against one of, if not the worst team in the LCS at this very moment and going back to LoL LCS Spring split. I think TSM will slowly start to pick things up as the season progresses but I do not expect them to reach the playoffs, and if they did, they will most likely fall short of the first round.

I have TSM to win this game, given the talent that they have on the roster. Even if they do not play at their best, they might just be able to pull off with the win against a pretty bad Immortals team. For large-field tournaments, I will have a small exposure to IMT in hopes that TSM actually plays their worst.

LOL LCS Starting Lineup: (TOP) Broken Blade (JNG) Spica (MID) Bjergsen (ADC) DoubleLift  (SUP) Biofrost

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Broken Blade ($6,600) (Cheap option)
  • (MID) Bjergsen ($7,400) (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Doublelift ($7,400) (Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Team SoloMid

Notes: Very even matchup, liking Team SoloMid here but will have small shares of Immortals for sure.

LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Counter Logic Gaming
  2. Immortals

You can always find me in the Win Daily Sports discord or on twitter @champagnravens and ask me any question about the LOL slate, and I will 100% be there to help out. Thanks for reading Naldo’s 6/14 targets.

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/18 LOL LCS Academy Breakdown

Today we will be looking into the LoL LCS Academy League summer split on 6/18/2020 @ 6:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LoL LCS ACADEMY Tournament Format:

  • Ten teams participate
  • Double Round Robin
  • Matches are best of one
  • Top six teams qualify for playoffs
  • Top two teams receive a bye to the semifinals

LoL Academy Top GPP Targets:

Golden Guardians Academy (GGS) (-235) vs. Counter Logic Gaming Academy (CLGA)(+165).

LOL Academy Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

Golden Guardians Academy (GGS)(-235):

  • (TOP) ZionSpartan
  • (JNG) Hard
  • (MID) ABLAZEOLIVE
  • (ADC) KEITH
  • (SUP) Chime

Counter Logic Gaming Academy (CLGA)(+175):

  • (TOP) Deus
  • (JNG) FRAGGAS
  • (MID) TUESDAY
  • (ADC) WIND/STIXXRAY
  • (SUP) Fill

LCS Academy games are very much like a roller coaster. That itself should give you a hint that there will be teams that unexpectedly win as underdogs in this league. There is so much variance and inconsistency that you should not even be surprised at this point. Overall, this is one of the games that attract my attention the most out of all.

The CLG academy roster showed a very good game against Cloud 9 but proceeded to lose to Immortals who are in my opinion one of the worst teams in the academy league. Golden Guardians on the other hand have been playing a flawless game, and look like one of the top teams if not the best one. Golden Guardians are averaging 18 kills flat between the two last games while CLG averages 22 deaths per loss. I am looking for GoldenGuardians to keep rolling through most teams in the academy and come out with some decent upside for your stacks.

LOL LCS Academy pick to win: Golden Guardians Academy

100 Thieves Academy (100T)(-260) vs. Team Liquid Academy (TL)(+180).

LOL Academy Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

100 Thieves Academy (100T)(-260):

  • (TOP) FakeGod
  • (JNG) CONTRACTZ
  • (MID) SOLIGO
  • (ADC) PRISMAL
  • (SUP) Poome

Team Liquid Academy (TLA)(+180):

  • (TOP) Jenkins
  • (JNG) Grig
  • (MID)  Yusui
  • (ADC) Rikara
  • (SUP) Yama

100 Thieves Academy has been very solid since the summer academy league has started with a nice 2-0 start. On the other hand, Team Liquid has started with a horrible record at 0-2 for the opening week of the season. I have little confidence that Team Liquid Academy will actually win this game. They looked horrible in both games, they opposed no threat to the last two opponents whatsoever. With that said I am going to give the win here to 100 Thieves who have actually taken down C9, and a broken down Evil Geniuses. I am expecting 100 Thieves to grab control of the game from start to finish, allowing them to dictate their pace of the game and ultimately not allow TL to feel comfortable in their lanes by applying pressure constantly.

LoL LCS Academy Pick to win: 100 Thieves

Cloud 9 Academy (C9)(-220) vs. Evil Geniuses Academy (EG)(+160).

LOL Academy Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

Cloud 9 Academy (C9)(-220):

  • (TOP) Fudge
  • (JNG) Inori
  • (MID) PALAFOX
  • (ADC) TOMO
  • (SUP) Diamond

Evil Geniuses Academy (EG)(+160):

  • (TOP) Huni
  • (JNG) AnDa
  • (MID)  Giyuu
  • (ADC) Deftly
  • (SUP) Matt

Cloud 9 Academy had a pretty shaky start to the summer split, to say the least, dropping one of the two losses to a bottom feeder team of LoL Academy in Counter Logic Gaming Academy. And the other to 100 Thieves who have looked solid to start off the season. C9 is like their pro team and is considered to be the juggernauts of the LCS Academy. This is the perfect bounce-back spot for them to redeem themselves against a team that looked horrible and failed to look in sync with one another. Evil Geniuses have completely failed to provide some sort of decent performance and to my belief will not find success in the academy at this instant.

LoL LCS Academy Pick to win: Cloud 9

Honorable Mentions:

FlyQuest (EVEN) vs. Team Dignitas (-140):

A very solid team in the LCS Academy that I think gets the win here. Dignitas has had a very rough start to the season, while FlyQuest has looked very decent. I expect them to continue their solid start to the season. The line suggests it could be a close game and I agree, but I am counting on FlyQuests bottom lane to carry this game.

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/14 LOL LCS Breakdown

Today we will be looking into the LOL LCS 2020 Summer Split on 6/14/2020 @ 4:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

Cloud 9 (C9) (-500) (All Formats- Cash/GPP):

Cloud 9 is and should be part of your lineups no doubt about it. Not only do they do the talk, but they walk the walk. They are the top team of the LCS no doubt about it and are going up against 100Thieves which are average at best. There is no competition here whatsoever.

I am expecting Cloud 9 to engage early and finish this within the 27 minutes mark. This is a team that you can fully stack confidently in your cash given their high ownership tomorrow in all cash lineups. Lock them in, and continue to look for a stack to pair. LCS is a roller coaster for sure, if you are feeling crazy then have a 100T lineup as a hedge. I don’t see a chance of them winning, but then again I did not see G2 Esports losing the last game and they did.

LOL LCS Starting Lineup: (TOP) Licorice (JNG) Blaber (MID) Nisqy (ADC) Zven (SUP) Vulcan

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  •  (TOP) Licorice ($6,600) (Cheap option)
  • (JNG) Blaber ($7,600) (Optimal option)
  • (MID) Nisqy ($8000) (Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Zven ($8,400) (Optimal option)
  • (SUP) Vulcan ($5,800) (Cheap option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Cloud9.

Team Liquid (TL) (-260) (GPP/CASH):

Team Liquid is good, and they proved it by defeating TSM in a very confident fashion.  TSM looked washed up and I am curious to see how they end up in this split. I like Team Liquid here in what could be a game closer than we think. Golden Guardians beat Team Dignitas last time out looking very solid. The difference is that Dignitas actually kept the game close. Which made me believe TL can keep the game a bit cleaner while controlling the game.

I will side with Team Liquid but be sure to have both sides of this game. Even if it is a smaller exposure to Golden Guardians. These two teams should be involved in one of the juiciest matchups of the day.

LOL LCS Starting Lineup: (TOP) Impact (JNG) Broxah (MID) Jensen (ADC) Tactical  (SUP) CoreJj

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Broxah ($7,000) (Optimal option)
  • (MID) Jensen ($7,400) (Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Tactical ($7,400) (Top Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Team Liquid.

Notes: Very even matchup, liking Team Liquid here but will have some exposure to Golden Guardians for sure.

Team Dignitas (DIG) (+180) (GPP):

Gut call here. I believe Team Dignitas is pretty good and eventually, it will show. They had a very tough matchup against Golden Guardians who looked in top form on their first game. Dignitas was able to stay close all game, though some mistakes allowed for GG to snowball their power eventually making it hard for them to get anything going in the late game. On the other side, TSM looked horrible, and I personally think the line should be much closer than this. TL made what everyone thought would be a good team look like a bottom feeder in LoL.

Maybe it was a really bad start by TSM, but maybe they are just not functional at the moment and will take them some time to adjust. I am taking a shot at the underdog here, hoping it pays off.

LOL LCS Starting Lineup: (TOP) V1Per (JNG) Akaadian (MID) Froggen (ADC) Johnsun  (SUP) Aphromoo

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (MID) Froggen ($6,600) (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Johnsun ($6,600) (Top Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Dignitas

LOL LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Immortals
  2. Golden Guardians
