Welcome to the CS:GO Breakdown for the 05/09 slate onboth DraftKings and FanDuel!

CS:GO Summary

9 total games: 3 at 9am EST, 4 at 12:30pm EST, 2 at 4pm EST. DK has 3 slates at each time, while FD has a main slate at 12:30pm EST and a late hours slate at 4pm EST.

Optimal stack on DK is 3-3

Optimal stack on FD is 3-2-1, one-off is preferable atthe team spot

CS:GO Game 1: forZe (-225) vs Gambit Youngsters

Pick: forZe

Top plays: xsepower ($9,000 DK), FL1T ($7,600 DK),Jerry ($5,800 DK)

Notes: play forZe in this one, no debate about it

CS:GO Game 2: Unique vs Nemiga (-900)

Pick: Nemiga

Top Plays: lollipop21k ($8,400 DK), speed4k ($8,200DK), Jyo ($7,400 DK)

Notes: do not touch Unique under any circumstances

CS:GO Game 3: Winstrike vs Team Spirit (-188)

Pick: Fading this game, if playing it I lean Winstrike

Top Plays: El1an ($8,000 DK), Hobbit ($6,800), bondik($6,200 DK)

Notes: Could go either way, GPP upside is favored withWinstrike

CS:GO Game 4: Dignitas vs Complexity (-175)

Pick: Complexity

Top plays: blameF ($7,000 DK / $10,300 FD), poison ($7,600DK / $10,500 FD), k0nfig ($8,600 DK / $10,300 FD)

Notes: Complexity is a cash lock and a great play in all formats

CS:GO Game 5: ENCE vs Astralis (-600)

Pick: Astralis

Top Plays: Xyp9x ($7,800 DK / $10,700 FD), device ($8,200 DK / $11,800 FD), magisk ($8,000 DK / $12,000 FD), dupreeh ($7,000 DK / $10,500 FD)

Notes: Astralis is probably my favorite stack on theentire day

CS:GO Game 6: Fnatic (-188) vs Ninjas in Pyjamas

Pick: Ninjas in Pyjamas

Top Plays: Plopski ($6,600 DK / $10,400 FD), REZ($6,600 DK / $10,400 FD), nawwk ($6,800 DK / $11,000 FD)

Notes: FNC could easily win behind Brollan and flusha, but I’m going for the upset here and leverage in GPPs. If playing FNC, roll out Brollan, flusha or KRIMZ (prefer flusha), and to save salary, JW.

CS:GO Game 7: Team Vitality (-225) vs Team Heretics

Pick: Team Heretics

Top Plays: Maka ($9,200 DK / $12,300 FD), Nivera ($7,400 DK / $11,600 FD), Lucky ($6,800 DK / $10,200 FD)

Notes: Vit is terrible other than ZywOo, if they win,he’ll hit 90+

CS:GO Game 8: Envy vs 100 Thieves (-225)

Pick: Envy

Top Plays: MICHU ($7,600 DK / $12,000 FD), Calyx($7,800 DK / $11,400 FD), Nifty ($6,600 DK / $9,600 FD)

Notes: could go either way, my lean is with Envy and they’ve pulled off some major upsets before

CS:GO Game 9: FURIA vs Team Liquid (-150)

Pick: hedge this game 100%, if picking one then I’lltake Team Liquid

Top Plays: EliGe ($8,800 DK / $12,000 FD), NAF ($8,600DK / $10,600 FD), Stewie2K ($6,200 DK / $9,900 FD)

Notes: Two top teams, definitely recommend a hedge to get exposure to both sides. If playing FURIA, roll out KSCERATO, HEN1, and yuurih

Welcome to the WinDaily CS:GO breakdown for May 7th! When playing CS:GO, you want to stack your teams similar to what you do in other sports, such as MLB and NHL. On DraftKings, a 3-3 stack is optimal, whereas a 3-2-1 stack on FanDuel is recommended because they require 3 teams be played; ideally, you want your one-off to be at the team spot. We have multiple slates on both sites, so let’s get to it!

forZe (-1400) vs Unique (9am EST)

Coming in as the biggest CS:GO favorites on the slate, forZe stacks will be good for cash games. I do fear that they may win tooquickly to carry enough upside in a GPP, but xsepower ($9,600 DK/$11,300 FD) andFL1T ($8,000 DK / $10,600 FD) should lead the way for an easy 2-0 forZe sweep. If running a 3-man stack, round it out with facecrack ($7,200 DK / $9,200 FD)or Jerry ($6,200 DK / $10,000 FD).

Team Spirit (-350) vs Nemiga (9am EST)

Team Spirit are one of my main CS:GO GPP targets withChopper ($9,200 DK / $10,300 FD) being the primary target with 50 kills per gameover his last 3. If you need the savings, my next targets would be somedieyoung($6,800 DK / $10,100 FD) and iDiSBALANCE ($7,400 DK / $9,900 FD) who lead theteam with K/D ratios of 1.17 and 1.16, respectively.

Winstrike (-150) vs Gambit Youngsters (9am EST)

I’ll likely be fading this game because of the close spread, but if you’re rolling with one of these CS:GO teams in deep GPPs, I recommend the underdog in Gambit Youngsters. The players I’d target would be sh1ro ($10,200 DK / $11,400 FD) and Ax1Le ($6,600 DK / $9,800 FD).

G2 (-900) vs C0ntact (12:30pm EST)

G2 is second to forZe in my top CS:GO plays on the slate being heavy favorites over a terrible C0ntact squad. As usual, the top targets are nexa ($8,200 DK / $11,400 FD), kennyS ($9,000 DK / $12,000 FD), and huNter- ($7,800 DK / $11,600 FD), with nexa being my favorite in the captain spot due to recent form.

North (-160) vs Movistar Raiders (12:30pm EST)

A good game to save salary on both sites, I’ll behedging this game with shares of both CS:GO squads. My top targets on North areaizy ($8,800 DK / $10,200 FD) and MSL ($7,200 DK / $9,800 FD), while ALEX($8,600 DK / $9,600 FD), steel ($6,800 DK / $9,500 FD), and mopoz ($6,600 DK /$9,300 FD) are in play on the Movistar side.

This article discusses a core for DFS players to build around for today’s FanDuel Main NBA slate. While there are many different sports and various contests pertaining to DFS along with their respective strategies, we focus on the main approaches to build both reliable cash and GPP lineups for a successful NBA night including pace, the projected over/under, one on one matchups, and a team’s defensive rating. Make sure to stay active when building NBA lineups – if you cannot be in front of a computer, tablet, or on your phone an hour before lock do not throw your money away! NBA DFS lineups can change at the blink of an eye and are the most variable compared to any other sport in DFS; players get injured, some sit for load management, and others find themselves on the DNP list for other reasons; any of which can sway your lineup and where to find value. Stay alert on the WinDaily Discord chat to follow along with our updated plays. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

NBA Point Guards

Eric Bledsoe,Milwaukee Bucks ($6,200 FD)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is out for the Bucks again tonight and the offense should run through Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton. Denver’s defense is no joke, ranking 8th in the NBA and should provide to be quite the challenge for the East’s best team. Jamal Murray is the one player I like to attack the Nuggets, where they have been slightly more vulnerable to opposing point guards compared to other positions.

Kyle Lowry,Toronto Raptors ($7,300 FD)

On the second night of a back-to-back, Kyle Lowry and the Raptors head to Utah to face the Jazz. My only concern here is the number of minutes everyone played yesterday; I always preach it when I write up a Raptor: Coach Nick Nurse runs his starters into the ground. After each starter played over 36 minutes yesterday, they had their hands on their knees in the 4th and seemed completely gassed. But if VanVleet is out again, someone has to score; Utah’s been exposed at the point guard position since entering Mike Conley in the starting lineup and allow nearly 47 FD points per game to primary ball handlers.

Terry Rozier,Charlotte Hornets ($5,900 FD)

You always play guards versus Atlanta, and I’ll likely have one of Terry Rozier or Devonte’ Graham in all of my lineups. I wouldn’t recommend playing both together, but if there’s ever a time to do it, it’s when they play the Hawks.

Trae YoungAtlanta Hawks ($9,600 FD)

He’s been in a bit of a slump despite having amazing matchups but with limited star power on the slate, I’ll have a few shares. I’ll be more overweight on John Collins but make sure you have a few Trae lineups in case he breaks the slate; Charlotte is tough against guards and is terrible against forwards and centers, pointing to a John Collins night but Trae at home is a different player and is almost matchup proof.

NBA Shooting Guards

Khris Middleton,Milwaukee Bucks ($7,000 FD)

I’m leaning toward playing Bledsoe more than Middleton tonight but that could change; the offense runs through both of them without Giannis and they’ll both carry heavy ownership. Cash game lock, TBD for GPPs but am leaning fade at the time of writing.

Devonte’ Graham,Charlotte Hornets ($6,100 FD)

Same as above with Terry Rozier, you play guards versus Atlanta at all times. One will go off, so make sure to hedge. Typically, Devonte’ Graham has a higher usage rate than Rozier, but Charlotte will ride the hot hand. With both targets nearing the 6k range, make sure to have at least one in most of your lineups.

Norman Powell,Toronto Raptors ($5,500 FD)

After watching the Raptors game last night, I was seriously impressed with Norman Powell’s play against the Kings. He played a whopping 43 minutes and almost won me 50k. He was absolutely gassed in the 4th but still hit key shots; if VanVleet is in, fade him. If not, he’s worthy of strong consideration at this price and I’ll probably land there myself.

Kevin Huerter,Atlanta Hawks ($5,000 FD)

Like his backcourt partner Trae Young, Kevin Huerter is a better player at home: he shoots 6.2% better from the 3-point line and 4.3% better from the field. If Trae goes off, he typically does not so make sure to build your lines accordingly, but at this price, he’s worth consideration if you think Trae flops again tonight.

Punt: Donte DiVincenzo, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,200 FD)

NBA Small Forwards

Pascal Siakam, TorontoRaptors ($7,900 FD)

By now you know the Raptors are tired and someone has to score (see Lowry and Powell writeups). Siakam has the safest floor at the position and will likely be the highest-scoring at the position barring a breakout performance from someone else.

Will Barton,Denver Nuggets ($5,300 FD)

Mr. GPP himself, Will Barton can fill up a box score fairly quickly. He’ll likely guard Khris Middleton, which will take away from offensive upside and increase the risk of fouling out but should he pick up a few steals or blocks, he’ll be in for a big night at a scarce position.

OtherConsiderations

OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors ($5,200FD)

Bojan Bogdanovic, Utah Jazz ($5,800 FD)

Miles Bridges, CharlotteHornets ($5,700 FD)

NBA Power Forwards

John Collins,Atlanta Hawks ($8,600 FD)

My personal lock at a weak PF position tonight. I rarely go 100% on a player, but I might just do that with John Collins tonight. Charlotte allows over 50 FD points per game to oppose bigs and won’t be able to defend Collins. He has the safest floor, highest ceiling, and might just break the slate.

Serge Ibaka, TorontoRaptors ($5,700 FD)

The second player with thesafest floor at the PF position. He draws a tough matchup versus Rudy Gobert, but Marc Gasol will likely play very few minutes off the bench in the secondgame of a back-to-back after coming off a 15-game absence. Ibaka’s matchup isunappealing, but with 30-36 minutes locked in, $5,700 is too cheap for him tohit value.

OtherConsiderations

PJ Washington, CharlotteHornets ($5,200 FD)

Punt: Marvin Williams,Milwaukee Bucks ($3,500 FD)

NBA Centers

Fairly easy decision for me tonight: I’ll be locking in one of Nikola Jokic ($9,700 FD), Rudy Gobert ($8,400 FD), or Brook Lopez ($5,100). Brook Lopez is my favorite of the 3 because of his price combined with the fact that he is having a career year on the defensive end (averaging 2.4 blocks per game, good for 3rd in the league behind only Whiteside and AD)  and, combined with his 3-point shot ability, can be a great source of value at a mere $5,100.

PointGuard: Markelle Fultz, Orlando Magic ($5,000)

The Orlando Magic play at one of the slowest paces in the league, ranking 27th in the NBA but tonight they find themselves in a pace up spot versus the 5th-fastest team in the league, the Houston Rockets. Markelle Fultz saw a notable usage uptick without Evan Fournier in the lineup, who is out for an extended period of time. Fultz should be able to drive the basket and fill the box score and collect a few steals along the way, taking advantage of the turnover-prone Russell Westbrook, who is third in the NBA with 4.4 turnovers per game.

ShootingGuard: Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat ($8,000)

All season long, we have been attacking the Washington Wizards and rightfully so; this team simply does not play defense. On tonight’s NBA slate, we get a mid-range priced player with stud capabilities in Jimmy Butler. In three games versus Washington this season, Butler has posted a 26.3/8/8.3/0.3/1 scoring line and 50.43 FanDuel points per game. Hit the lock button.

PowerForward: Christian Wood, Detroit Pistons ($7,900)

On the second night of a back-to-back, the Detroit Pistons head over to MSG to face the Knicks. Running on a thin rotation, the Pistons have played Christian Wood over 34 minutes per game over their last eight, where he is averaging over 41 FanDuel points per game. With a heavy usage rate and plenty of minutes, look for Wood to take on Julius Randle all night.

Center:Nikola Vucevic, Orlando Magic ($8,400)

With the Houston Rockets redefining the use of a small-ball lineup, they have become susceptible to opposing centers in the paint. With few viable options available on this NBA slate, Nikola Vucevic has the safest floor of all centers and will put up the most points at the position. Vuc has averaged 50.1 FanDuel points per game over his last three games and will look to keep it rolling tonight.

Gamesto Target

  • OrlandoMagic @ Houston Rockets (233 over/under)
  • MiamiHeat @ Washington Wizards (231.5 over/under)
  • DetroitPistons @ New York Knicks (210.5 over/under)

PointGuard: Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks ($9,900 FD / $10,400 DK)

The third game in a row with Trae Young in the best possible spot out of all point guards on the NBA slate? Sign me up. Ice Trae is lights out at home and faces a Memphis team that plays at the 7th fastest pace in the NBA. Trae should see Ja Morant all game long and the rookie has proven to be a great DVP target all season long; Memphis allows 48 fan points to opposing primary ball handlers on both sites. With a small spread and the highest over/under on the NBA slate, I love game stacking this one with another primary target listed below.

ShootingGuard: Terrence Ross, Orlando Magic ($4,900 FD / $5,400 DK)

The Orlando Magic are trying to keep up in the playoff hunt in the Eastern Conference and have shortened their rotation. As a result, Terrence Ross has seen an uptick in minutes, averaging 30.5 minutes over his last 6 games and over 32 NBA fan points on both sites in that stretch. With the Magic facing a Portland team that does not play defense, look for Ross to come off the bench early and often, and score in bunches.

PowerForward: Trey Lyles, San Antonio Spurs ($4,300 FD / $4,800 DK)

While this will likely be the chalk play of the night, I’m comfortable slotting Trey Lyles into my NBA lineups despite the heavy ownership. It’s not the best matchup for any Spurs player tonight as Indiana is not a team we like to attack, but they are vulnerable at the center position, allowing over 55 fantasy points per game on both sites. With LaMarcus Aldridge doubtful and Jakob Poetl out with an ankle injury, Lyles will see heavy minutes and should see Myles Turner’s abysmal defense.

Center:Jonas Valanciunas, Memphis Grizzlies ($7,200 FD / $6,800 DK)

There are many good centers to play on tonight’s NBA slate, but I’ll be primarily looking at Jonas Valanciunas and Nikola Vucevic ($8,100 FD / $8,400 DK). Valanciunas gets the nod for me here with the slight savings over Vucevic on both sites and is in just as good, if not a better matchup. Yes, Vucevic will see Whiteside’s defense and had a great game the last time these two teams played each other, but with Aaron Gordon playing out of his mind as of late, JVal’s matchup versus the Hawks is too good to pass up on; the Hawks allow the most points to opposing centers on both sites and Valanciunas is coming off back to back 50 point outings with 20+ rebounds in both games.

Gamesto Target

  • MemphisGrizzlies @ Atlanta Hawks (241.5 over/under)
  • PortlandTrail Blazers @ Orlando Magic (221.5 over/under)
  • MilwaukeeBucks @ Miami Heat (225.5 over/under)

PointGuard: Derrick Rose, Detroit Pistons ($6,000)

The only reason De’Aaron Fox is not my top point guard for today’s NBA main slate is because of his GTD tag. That being said, I love the back and forth between the two-point guards in this game and should Fox play, I lean to roster both him and Derrick Rose. Fox plays at a ridiculous pace and presents as a great DVP target because of it; in their one previous meeting this season, Rose put up a 22/6/11 scoring line, good for 44.7 FD points. With Bruce Brown ruled out, Derrick Rose should see an uptick in minutes in an attempt to keep this one close.

ShootingGuard: Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($9,900)

Name a player that’s on a hotter run than Bradley Beal right now in the NBA… you can’t. The Wizards NBA All-Star snub is facing a Golden State Warriors team that not only hates playing defense, but they actually look like a G-League team out there. Beal’s averaging 60 FD points in his last 4; play him with confidence.

SmallForward: LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers ($10,400)

Coming off a two-game rest, LeBron James should be fresh and ready to go tonight versus the Pelicans. New Orleans ranks 4th worst in the NBA versus primary ball handlers, allowing nearly 50 FD points per game, and no one will be able to guard The King tonight in his second matchup versus rookie sensation Zion Williamson.

PowerForward: Harry Giles, Sacramento Kings ($5,000)

Harry Giles has been popping in our WinDaily projections all week and tonight’s NBA slate is another opportunity to take advantage of his low price tag. At a mere $5,000 on FanDuel, he allows us to get both Bradley Beal and LeBron James in our lineups without any difficulty. Averaging over 31 FD points per game in his last 4, Giles has taken advantage of a depleted Kings frontcourt and will face a Detroit Pistons team that allows over 55 FD points per game to opposing centers.

Gamesto Target

  • LosAngeles Lakers @ New Orleans Pelicans (235.5 over/under)
  • WashingtonWizards @ Golden State Warriors (231.5 over/under)
  • DetroitPistons @ Sacramento Kings (216.5 over/under)

Point Guard: Jalen Brunson, Dallas Mavericks ($5,700)

His first chalk night at a mere $3,600 on FanDuel flopped but Jalen Brunson came out in a big way last game with THJ struggling and Porzingis out. The Unicorn is back in tonight which will take away from his usage, but Seth Curry is out, leaving the Mavs with limited backcourt options.

GPP: Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies ($7,300)

Draws a favorable matchupversus a Detroit Pistons team that struggles to defend primary ball handlers. Whetherit be Derrick Rose (questionable) or Reggie Jackson drawing the start at pointguard, Morant is a low owned play that could pay off in big NBA GPPs tonight.

GPP: Malcolm Brogdon, Indiana Pacers ($6,500)

With TJ Warren out, look for Brogdon, Lamb, and Sabonis to carry the load offensively for the Pacers tonight. Brogdon draws a better matchup in Jalen Brunson than he would have if Luka Doncic had been healthy and could provide a safe floor on tonight’s NBA slate.

Punts

Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks($4,800) – IF Trae Young is OUT

Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons($4,500) – IF Derrick Rose is OUT, LOCK!

Shooting Guard: Spencer Dinwiddie, Brooklyn Nets ($7,100)

Lock button with Kyrie Irving out. Dinwiddie will draw into the starting lineup and thrash a Phoenix Suns team that gets torched by primary ball handlers. Game script should be in his favor tonight with this one likely staying close, don’t overthink it.

GPP: Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($10,500)

He’s in a great spot tonight versus a Warriors team that allows a ton of NBA FanDuel points to opposing guards (43.49 per game to shooting guards) but his price is a little too steep for me tonight. He could come in at lower ownership because of the salary spike, making for an intriguing GPP play.

GPP: D’Angelo Russell, Golden State Warriors ($8,000)

I’m a big Warriors and DLofan and this matchup is just too good to ignore for the sharpshooter. He is nota priority for me tonight, but his upside in this matchup is tremendous; hefaces a Wizards team that allows the most NBA FanDuel points to opposingshooting guards at 44.83 per game.

Punts

Kevin Huerter, Atlanta Hawks($5,000)

Jeremy Lamb, Indiana Pacers($4,300)

Small Forward: Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics ($6,800)

Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart are out, meaning Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum will see most of the offensive touches alongside Gordon Hayward tonight. Another NBA narrative play, JB is from Atlanta and will be playing in his hometown in front of his family in a great spot versus an Atlanta Hawks team that cannot play defense. Lock.

Pivot: Gordon Hayward, Boston Celtics ($6,500)

Some might build with bothJaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward tonight but his salary is a little too steep forhis ceiling. Like the play with Walker and Smart out, just not in love with itsince I am so high on Jaylen Brown.

GPP: Alec Burks, Golden State Warriors ($5,100)

If D’Angelo Russell is ruled out tonight, play Burkswill extreme confidence. He usually handles the ball for the second unit but ifhe starts, he is in a great spot versus the Wizards who allow over 46 NBAFanDuel points per game to primary ball handlers.

Power Forward: Kristaps Porzingis, Dallas Mavericks ($8,000)

Porzingis draws a tough matchup versus Sabonis tonight but if he slots in at center, my ownership percentages will increase drastically. He had 54.4 FanDuel points in Luka Doncic’s first game out of the lineup last week versus the Rockets and will carry the load on offense yet again.

Pivot Option: John Collins, Atlanta Hawks ($8,100)

I like this NBA play more ifTrae Young is out, but he still warrants consideration as a pivot to my nexttwo plays who will carry more ownership. If Trae Young is out, Collins sees adrastic usage bump and will have to put up plenty of points for the Hawks tostay in this one.

Pivot Option: Domantas Sabonis, Indiana Pacers ($8,100)

He will be tasked withguarding Kristaps Porzingis alongside Myles Turner but the former will carry theload on offense. A versatile threat on the offensive side of the ball, Sabonisshould see more touches with TJ Warren ruled out if he can stay out of foultrouble.

Pivot Option: Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics ($7,900)

Getting the Celtics righttonight will be important on tonight’s NBA slate and I think Tatum and JaylenBrown thrive in this game versus the Atlanta Hawks. He can fill the box scoreand pile up defensive stats rather quickly and look for him to do just that tonight.

GPP: LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio Spurs ($6,800)

Center: Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves ($10,000)

The big man should dominate tonight with Sacramento struggling with injuries to their frontcourt. KAT sees so much usage that he is impossible to ignore on any NBA slate, and I’ll have my fair number of shares.

Top Pivot: Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons ($9,700)

Drummond has as high of a ceiling as anyone in NBA DFS thanks to his defensive contributions and ability to rack up a 20/20 game at any time. For those that follow our plays often, we love to attack Memphis’ defense and this is a great spot for Drummond.

GPP play: Nikola Vucevic, Orlando Magic ($8,600)

Carrying a surprisingly low ownership projection at the time of writing, Vuc will face a Charlotte frontcourt that has been decimated by opposing centers all season long, allowing an NBA-high 58.65 FanDuel points per game.

Punt: Marquese Chriss, Golden State Warriors ($5,000)

PointGuard

Russell Westbrook ($11,200FD price)

There were times in the last few seasons that we simply locked in Russell Westbrook no matter what his price was. A triple-double machine, Westbrook is on one of those streaks and will be in the majority of my lineups today. The Pelicans allow 48.44 points per game to opposing point guards and Lonzo Ball won’t be able to guard him.

Lonzo Ball ($6,600 FD price)

Not an ideal play tonightwith the Pelicans shifting usage left and right on a game-to-game basis andwith Jrue Holiday back, Lonzo Ball has taken a hit. He’s in a decent spot simplybecause Westbrook turns the ball over at an alarming rate and should benefitfrom the amount of steals he can get today.

Eric Bledsoe ($6,100 FDprice)

A much better play if GiannisAntetokounmpo sits, Eric Bledsoe is one of my favorite mid-range targets on theslate today. Phoenix struggles versus guards allowing over 44 FanDuel pointsper game and Bledsoe should carry a heavy usage rate should a hobbledAntetokounmpo sit out.

Punt: Reggie Jackson ($4,600FD price)

ShootingGuard

James Harden ($11,000 FDprice)

In a non-Westbrook NBA lineup, hedge with Harden. Not opposed to having both but it means you need a player at minimum salary or two punts in your lineup which I am not comfortable doing on a small slate. One will go off, and I think it’ll be Westbrook.

Jrue Holiday ($7,800 FDprice)

My lock at SG on today’s NBA slate, Jrue Holiday is on a mission since returning from injury. I love attacking the Rockets at the ‘2’ and Harden is a DVP disaster on defense. A player that can fill the box score quickly, Holiday has tremendous upside with his defensive ability.

Khris Middleton ($7,200 FDprice)

Similarly to Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton will be an instant lock if Giannis Antetokounmpo sits out this afternoon. Fresh off his 51 point performance just two games ago, Middleton has one of the safest floors in the NBA mid-range players today and will be paired with Jrue Holiday in the majority of my lineups.

Punt: Donte DiVincenzo($4,500 FD price)

SmallForward

Giannis Antetokounmpo($11,600 FD price)

If he plays, I’ll be locking him in with Westbrook and coming off Middleton to make the salary work. The reigning NBA MVP is not only taking over the East, but the entire NBA with his versatility on both ends of the floor.

Pascal Siakam ($8,500 FDprice)

The Chicago Bulls defend theguard positions well so I am off both Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet today. But someoneneeds to carry the offense, and I believe both Siakam and Ibaka will do welltonight against the Bulls frontcourt. Siakam should draw a favorable matchupwith Kris Dunn ruled out.

Will Barton ($6,000 FDprice)

Mr. NBA GPP will find himself in my lineups today and take advantage of Detroit’s lineup. The Pistons often end up playing a guard at the small forward position and Barton should be able to dominate the glass and score in bunches.

Danuel House ($4,200 FDprice)

With Clint Capela ruled out,Danuel House should enter the starting lineup again alongside Eric Gordon. He’sbeen flashing his defensive ability which raises his floor. Don’t expect 50+and a slate-breaking performance but at $4,300, I don’t hate this play but suggesthedging with Eric Gordon ($4,900)

PowerForward

Zion Williamson ($6,500 FDprice)

The NBA rookie is on a tear since coming back from a major injury and should be able to thrive in a fast matchup versus the Rockets. Averaging 28 minutes over his last 3 games, the Pelicans have been playing him more and he seems to be getting comfortable in an NBA environment; Zion will be facing a small Rockets frontcourt without Capela and will be a lock for a double-double.

Jerami Grant ($6,400 FDprice)

With Michael Porter Jr.ruled out, Jerami Grant should see more minutes despite already being in thestarting lineup with Paul Millsap nursing an injury. His price is a little highfor me but he has a high floor with his defensive capability.

Serge Ibaka ($5,800 FDprice)

A lock for me right now on today’s NBA slate. Playing a terrible Chicago Bulls frontcourt, Ibaka will feast without Marc Gasol in the lineup. Don’t overthink this one. Eat the chalk.

Center

Nikola Jokic ($10,000 FD price)

My preference over Andre Drummond, Jokic isn’t having a good enough NBA season for me to trust him let alone pay 10k for him on such a small slate. The ownership will be high, but I’ll be fading him for Brook Lopez.

Andre Drummond ($9,500 FD price)

He can go off for a 20-20game at any time and is virtually matchup proof, but in a game that could getugly, I am off Drummond but can understand people pivoting off the Jokic chalkfor him. I can’t see myself getting there, but he has the ability to break anNBA slate at any time.

Brook Lopez ($5,000 FDprice)

Regardless of whether or not Giannis Antetokounmpo plays, Brook Lopez will be my NBA center today. He his too cheap for someone that is in such a good matchup and provides upside on both ends on the floor since he is averaging a career years in blocks per game.

This article discusses a core for DFS players to build around for today’s FanDuel NBA slate. NBA DFS lineups can change at the blink of an eye and is the most variable compared to any other sport in DFS; players get injured, some sit for load management, and others find themselves on the DNP list for other reasons; any of which can sway your lineup and where to find value. PointGuard: Kris Dunn, Chicago Bulls ($5,700)

There are many point guards that I like on tonight’s NBA slate, including Luka Doncic, Derrick Rose, De’Aaron Fox, and Collin Sexton. If you’re not using a combination of those players, I’d look to pair one of them with Kris Dunn who has been impressively productive this season. Having scored in double digits in his 5 past games en route to 30.4 FanDuel points per game, Dunn is a viable option because of his ability to score, rebound, distribute the ball, and his defensive superiority. Seeing plenty of minutes at small forward for the Bulls, Dunn faces a San Antonio Spurs team that struggles versus wing players, allowing 42.36 FanDuel points per game to opposing 3-and-D wings.

ShootingGuard: Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz ($7,600)

In a pace up spot versus the Houston Rockets, Donovan Mitchell’s matchup is just too good to pass up on. Playing against a Houston squad that allows over 45 FanDuel points per game to opposing primary ball handlers, the Rockets will be without both Russell Westbrook (rest) and James Harden (doubtful with a groin injury) tonight. Scoring more than 20 points in his last 6 games and matching up against reserve guards all night long, Donovan Mitchell might break the NBA slate tonight.

SmallForward: Eric Gordon, Houston Rockets ($4,400)

Although I am not in love with this play, the small forward position is awfully thin on tonight’s NBA slate and Eric Gordon is simply too cheap. The Houston Rockets will be without Russell Westbrook tonight and James Harden is doubtful after sitting out last night, leading to more usage and offensive opportunity for the three-point specialist. Although Utah allows the second-fewest three-pointers in the league at 10.5 per game, I expect Houston to push the pace and avoid Rudy Gobert’s stout interior defense. If you need the salary savings, Danuel House is awfully intriguing at the minimum price ($3,500) as well.

PowerForward: LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio Spurs ($8,000)

With the Chicago Bulls defending the guard position so well this season, the WinDaily staff has been successfully attacking the Bulls through the center and power forward positions throughout the entire NBA season. Tonight is no exception, with LaMarcus Aldridge drawing the favorable matchup versus Luke Kornet. Allowing 57.37 FanDuel points per game to opposing centers, Aldridge should dominate the paint all night long.

Center:Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons ($10,500)

Having collected two 20/20 games versus Cleveland this month, Andre Drummond gets one last crack at destroying the Cavaliers. Averaging 22.7/19/3.3/2.3/2.3 and 61.47 FanDuel points in 3 games versus the Cavs this season, Drummond will dominate Tristan Thompson once again tonight. While I preferred Karl-Anthony Towns just a few nights ago, Drummond is my guy on tonight’s NBA slate.

Gamesto Target

  • SacramentoKings vs Minnesota Timberwolves (224.5 over/under)
  • ClevelandCavaliers vs Detroit Pistons (219 over/under)
  • DallasMavericks vs Oklahoma City Thunder (225 over/under)

PointGuard: Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks ($9,600)

Fresh off being named an NBA all-star, Trae Young will take advantage of a glorious matchup tonight versus the Washington Wizards. In a game with a 240.5 implied total and the highest on the NBA slate, I love stacking this matchup with another key piece listed below. Young underperformed last time out, shooting 7/20 from the field en route to a mere 34.3 FanDuel points. Tonight, the Wizards will attempt to contain the second-year pro once again, but I think they fail miserably in doing so.

Honorable Mention: Kemba Walker, Boston Celtics ($7,600)

ShootingGuard: Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($8,300)

The other key piece to the Hawks-Wizards game, Bradley Beal will be locked in the majority of my NBA lineups tonight. Coming back into form this past week, Beal has put up 29, 36, and 38 points in his last 3 games. With the Wizards looking to keep this one close in what should be a shootout, look for Beal to take advantage of mediocre Atlanta Hawks defense that allows the third-most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards at a rate of 43.56 points per game.

Honorable Mention: Evan Fournier, Orlando Magic ($5,100)

SmallForward: TJ Warren, Indiana Pacers ($5,900)

To those that played TJ Warren with me the other night against the Golden State Warriors, bravo! Warren went off for 56 FanDuel points and is in another great matchup again tonight. The Indiana Pacers will be without Malcolm Brogdon again, resulting in Warren getting more looks on offense. I am assuming that the Trail Blazers will switch Trevor Ariza onto Domantas Sabonis, meaning Warren should get a juicy matchup versus Carmelo Anthony. Lock and load for an encore performance.

Honorable Mention: Kelly Oubre, Phoenix Suns ($6,700)

PowerForward: Davis Bertans, Washington Wizards ($4,800)

Playing over 20 minutes per game since returning from injury, I believe this will be the NBA slate where Davis Bertans smashes his price tag; with teammate Thomas Bryant still playing a low dose of minutes and this game’s pace is too much for Ian Mahinmi, Bertans should see a healthy amount of minutes and take a lot of shots off the bench; the Hawks allow 49.21 FanDuel points per game to opposing power forwards.

Honorable Mention: Derrick Favors, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,200)

Center:Montrezl Harrell, Los Angeles Clippers ($6,400)

The Clippers will be without Paul George again tonight, leaving us a viable option in Montrezl Harrell. Hassan Whiteside has the best matchup on the NBA slate, but I prefer to pay up elsewhere without comprising the rest of my lineup. While this isn’t the best matchup in terms of pace or DVP, Harrell should continue to see the usage that has seen him put up 33.13 FanDuel points per game in the last eight consecutive games that Paul George has missed.

Honorable Mention: Deandre Ayton, Phoenix Suns ($7,800)

Gamesto Target

  • WashingtonWizards vs Atlanta Hawks (240.5 over/under)
  • PhoenixSuns vs Memphis Grizzlies (234.5 over/under)
  • BostonCeltics vs New Orleans Pelicans (229 over/under)
