UFC Vegas 30.

GANE V VOLKOV

I hope you were able to do well off of the last article, we had another banger and I saw some nice success all around, let’s hope for some more success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 1:00 PM EST and has 13 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 1:00 PM EST

SOME exposure to the main event recommended. DFS production in these fights will usually be high as they are five-round fights but this fight is not between two high output fighters. I will be branching away from the Main Event for some lines. There will be three top plays followed by honorable mentions. The Main Event WILL NOT be featured as one of my top three plays (Top Value Play, Locked In-Play, or Top Scoring Play) but WILL be featured in my Honorable Mention category. My Main Event target will not be a top play. Now let’s get ready to make some money!

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Vegas 30, Gane v Volkov.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Tanner Boser (-170) (DK 8300) (FD $19) vs. Ovince St.Preux (+140) (DK 7900) (FD $13).

Well, the value target was right on the money last week, hopefully, we can go for the repeat this week. For today’s value pick, I gotta go with OSP. Tanner Boser is not a good fighter, I’ve believed this since he lost to Arlovski and he hasn’t proven me wrong since following his loss to Latifi earlier this month. Honestly, Boser is now 3-3 in the UFC and I don’t see his tenure in the UFC lasting much longer and given Boser’s abysmal ground game (a gassed Latifi took him down twice… with 6:38 control time… yikes) I can see OSP going for one of his patent Von Preux Chokes here. Oh and yes, Boser is coming in on short notice

MY UFC DFS PICK: Ovince St.Preux (+140) (DK 7900) (FD $13). SECOND ROUND SUBMISSION (possible UNANIMOUS DECISION).

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Michel Prazeres (+240) (DK 7100) (FD $8) vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov (-300) (DK 9100) (FD $22).

Rakhmonov is one of the UFC’s top prospects coming out of Kazakhstan and will see a real test here against Prazeres. Prazeres has had a relatively impressive run in the UFC going 10-3 (3 of which came by split decision) even defeating the likes of Gilbert Burns (pretty much grappled him all fight). The problem for Prazeres was that he beat Burns back in 2016, Prazeres hasn’t fought in the UFC since early 2019 (caught on the juice by USADA…), hasn’t won since 2018 and is around 40 years old, Prazeres was good in his day but a new day has dawned. Prazeres doesn’t have a high striking output and usually relies on his takedown ability. Rakhmonov for his part was able to stuff both of Alex Oliveira’s takedown attempts before submitting him in the first round of their fight late last year. The other big point to note is the MASSIVE height and reach advantage for Rakhmonov, were talking like 7 inches in height and 10 inches in reach (not to mention Prazeres used to fight at 155 lbs). Unlike Prazeres, Rakhmonov doesn’t like to leave it in the judges’ hands (100% career finish rate) and has proven that he’s more than capable on the ground while also being able to trade on the feet as six of his 13 wins came due to submission (7 KOs). This will be Rakhmonov’s best opportunity to show the whole MMA world that he’s the real deal. Because of all that, I’m taking the former M1 challenge welterweight champion tonight.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Shavkat Rakhmonov (-300) (DK 9100) (FD $22) FIRST ROUND TKO (possible SECOND ROUND TKO).

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Wallery Alves (-225) (DK 9200) (FD $22) vs. Jeremiah Wells (+187) (DK 7000) (FD $9).

I don’t know about you guys, but I cannot get that Alves KO kick of Mounir Lazzez out of my head, it was easily the best KO on the card and arguably falls within the top 10 KOs this year up to this point. In that fight, he came in as the +200 underdog against a fighter in Lazzez who at that point was 10-1-0, tonight he’s the -225 favourite. Alves is the much more technical Jiu-Jitsu artist and if the fight transitions to the ground it would be hard to imagine any situation where Wells isn’t forced to tap very quickly. There’s no doubt that Wells deserves this UFC shot but as of right now Alves is just on another level and on top of that Wells is coming in on short notice, last having fought in 2019. That’s a lot of time away from the cage, for anyone. Don’t forget, Colby Covington only has two losses in the UFC, Usman… and our boy Wallery Alves (2015 though). To simplify this, we have a green rookie (34 yr old rookie) who hasn’t fought in almost two years vs a seasoned vet (30 yr old vet) who can make an argument for a ranking climb with a lot of activity under his belt.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Wallery Alves (-225) (DK 9200) (FD $22) FIRST ROUND SUBMISSION (possible FIRST ROUND TKO).

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Ciryl Gane (5 ROUNDER) -160 (DK 8700) (FD $20) (Volkov works too)

Yancy Medeiros +125 (DK 7700) (FD $13)

Charles Rosa -175 (DK 8600) (FD $18) (Justin Jaynes GPP)

Julia Avila -350 (DK 9300) (FD $23) (Julija Stoliarenko GPP)

Marcin Prachnio -188 (DK 9000) (FD $19)

Kennedy Nzechukwu -125 (DK 8200) (FD $16)

Renato Moicano -250 (DK 9400) (FD $20)

Tim Means -138 (DK 8400) (FD $16)

Daniel Pineda GPP +187 (DK 7300) (FD $10) (Andre Fili works too)

Raoni Barcelos -220 (DK 8800) (FD $21) (Timur Valiev works too)

SUMMARY:

On Saturday’s fourteen-bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 4 GPP lineups. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of 99.9 percent of my lineups. Some fights in this slate are tricky to predict a winner and all fights are pretty close in skillset as UFC fighters are the elite of the elite. I usually employ a hedging technique on the fights that are closer in odds. I’m focusing on building a GPP winning lineup.

I’m building lineups that can variate from the field and taking bigger risks tonight. I will use my core fighters (Locked-In, Honorable Mention) to be a staple in my DFS lineups, and I will build around them using the available salary with the remainder of my predicted winners. Remember, to take down a GPP; you have to be different and take risks. Scared money doesn’t make money in tournaments. For any further questions, I will be available until lock in our WinDaily Discord chat. GOOD LUCK and don’t forget to come back and Win Daily!

UFC Vegas 29.

JUNG V IGE

I hope you were able to do well off of the last article, we had another banger and I saw some nice success all around, let’s hope for some more success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 4:00 PM EST and has 12 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 4:00 PM EST

SOME exposure to the main event recommended. DFS production in these fights will usually be high as they are five-round fights but this fight is not between two high output fighters. I will be branching away from the Main Event for some lines. There will be three top plays followed by honorable mentions. The Main Event WILL NOT be featured as one of my top three plays (Top Value Play, Locked In-Play, or Top Scoring Play) but WILL be featured in my Honorable Mention category. My Main Event target will not be a top play. Now let’s get ready to make some money!

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Vegas 29, Jung v Ige.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Lara Procopio (-165) (DK 8500) (FD $20) vs. Casey O’Neill (+140) (DK 7700) (FD $11).

As is the case with most of our value targets, we have fighters here who should be in an extremely close matchup but the odds give us tremendous value on one of the two fighters. In this case, O’Neill is coming in at +140 which is rather strange given her dominant performance last time out against Shana Dobson last February. Not to take anything away from Procopio as she had two solid UFC performances thus far but it’s hard to ignore O’Neill at that price. We’ve seen strong takedown abilities from both these fighters as well as high output on the feet, I can definitely see this fight starting off the card with a bang!

MY UFC DFS PICK: Casey O’Neill (+140) (DK 7900) (FD $11). SECOND ROUND TKO (possible UNANIMOUS DECISION).

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Wellington Turman (+100) (DK 7400) (FD $14) vs. Bruno Silva (-125) (DK 8800) (FD $17).

Silva is coming into this fight with four straight KOs, three of which came in the first round. Unfortunately for Silva, this is his first fight since 2018 as his scheduled UFC debut in 2019 was cancelled due to a failed drug test. As his two-year suspension has just been lifted, this will be Silva’s test to show that he belongs in the UFC. His opponent has had a turbulent time in the UFC, going 1-2-0 in his time with the organization, including being the receiving end of a first-round knockout against Andrew Sanchez. His only UFC win came against the now released Marcus Perez. Even in that fight, Turman spent most of the time on the ground and was actually slightly out-struck by Perez on the feet. This fight is close because we don’t know what Silva will look like coming off the long lay-off but I am taking Blindado here at near even odds.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Bruno Silva (-125) (DK 8800) (FD $17) FIRST ROUND TKO (possible SECOND ROUND TKO).

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Khaos Williams (-160) (DK 8900) (FD $19) vs. Matt Semelsberger (+130) (DK 7300) (FD $10).

Khaos is coming into this fight with a huge chip on his shoulder as many believed that he should’ve beaten Michel Pereira in his last fight. Prior to that bout, Khaos secured two impressive UFC wins against favourites Abdul Razak Alhassan (Khaos was +175) and Alex Morono (Khaos was +300), both of which were stopped under thirty seconds. Realistically, you’d be hard-pressed to find people who would argue that Semi is better than say Morono and it was clear right away that Williams was better than him. We know that Williams hits like a truck and the only real question is how long will Semelsberger be able to avoid that right hand for

MY UFC DFS PICK: Kalinn (Khaos) Williams (-160) (DK 8900) (FD $19) SECOND ROUND TKO (possible FIRST ROUND TKO).

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Dan Ige (5 ROUNDER) -125 (DK 8000) (FD $19) (Jung works too)

Sergey Spivak -225 (DK 9200) (FD $22) (needs to avoid getting taken down)

Marlon Vera -200 (DK 9100) (FD $21) (Davey Grant GPP, Grant beat Vera back in 2016, but the circumstances are much different now)

Julian Erosa GPP +125 (DK 7600) (FD $12)

Dhiego Lima -175 (DK 9000) (FD $20)

Aleksa Camur -250 (DK 9300) (FD $23) (Negumereanu sneaky GPP play)

Virna Jandiroba -138 (DK 8400) (FD $17) (I really like Jandiroba to get a Submission win here)

Josh Parisian FADE -150 (DK 8700) (FD $18) (You can also go with Martinez but honestly, better off fading this one in general)

Ricky Glenn GPP +110 (DK 7900) (FD $15)

SUMMARY:

On Saturday’s fourteen-bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 7 GPP lineups. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of 99.9 percent of my lineups. UFC 263.

ADESANYA V VETTORI 2

I hope you were able to do well off of the last article, we had another banger and I saw some nice success all around, let’s hope for some more success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 6:00 PM EST and has 14 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 6:00 PM EST

Exposure to the main events ARE highly recommended. DFS production in these fights will be high as they are five-round fights but this fight is not between two high output fighters. I will be branching away from the Main Event.

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC 263, Adesanya v Vettori 2.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Luigi Vendramini (+110) (DK 7900) (FD $13) vs. Fares Ziam (-138) (DK 8300) (FD $16).

We got a very close fight on our hands here and I actually think Vendramini is in an excellent spot here. Both have similar amounts of octagon experience and have faced similar levels of competition. However, Vendramini has a solid BJJ pedigree and a nasty left hook that has ended most of his opponents. Vendramini’s goal will be to ensure that he can put Ziam out before Ziam starts anticipating his strikes. Vendramini is at a height disadvantage here but as long as he can close the distance he’ll have no trouble taking care of the taller Ziam.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Luigi Vendramini (+110) (DK 7900) (FD $13). SECOND ROUND TKO (possible UNANIMOUS DECISION).

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Paul Craig (+240) (DK 6800) (FD $8) vs. Jamahal Hill (-300) (DK 9400) (FD $21).

We have the classic striker vs grappler. Unfortunately for Craig (the grappler who isn’t good at striking), Jamahal Hill (the striker who can handle himself on the ground) also possesses tremendous takedown defence along with his quick hand speed and high volume. This is not a walkover but the rising undefeated prospect Hill has a clear edge over Craig in tonight’s matchup.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Jamahal Hill (-300) (DK 9400) (FD $21) FIRST ROUND TKO (possible SECOND ROUND TKO).

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Leon Edwards (-600) (DK 9500) (FD $22) vs. Nate Diaz (+450) (DK 6700) (FD $11).

Do not get cute here. Pick Leon Edwards. Diaz is definitely a fan favourite but he hasnt fought since 2019 when he had a BMF title fight against Masvidal stopped after the second round due to a nasty cut over his eye. (2 fights since 2016) Leon has been far more active than his opponent despite his last fight ending in a no-contest and Leon is far and away the better fighter. What makes this fight even more appealing DFS wise, is that its a 5 round fight despite not being a title fight. So we get a title fight ceiling with reasonable prices and mismatched odds. Leon has fantastic leg kicks and strikes, he will control the fight and expose Diaz’s weaknesses. Simply put, Edwards is in the title conversation and Diaz is absolutely not, this is not the right matchup for Diaz.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Leon Edwards (-600) (DK 9500) (FD $22) SECOND ROUND TKO (possible ROUND ONE TKO).

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Israel Adesanya (5 ROUNDER) -275 (DK 9300) (FD $23)

Darren Stewart GPP +125 (DK 7600) (FD $13) (Anders works too, Stewart was the favourite in their last fight but was getting battered prior to the illegal knee stoppage)

Chase Hooper -125 (DK 7800) (FD $15) (Peterson works as a GPP play)

Matt Frevola -225 (DK 8900) (FD $20) (fighting a regional opponent who is coming in on short notice)

Mosvar Evloev -250 (DK 9200) (FD $20) (Dawodu works as a GPP play)

Brandon Moreno (5 ROUNDER) -210 (DK 7100) (FD $17)

Carlos Felipe -175 (DK 9500) (FD $19)

Joanne Calderwood -138 (DK 8200) (FD $17) (Murphy works as a GPP play)

Brad Riddell GPP +125 (DK 7700) (FD $11)

Pannie Kianzad -210 (DK 8800) (FD $19) (Davis works as a GPP play)

Demian Maia GPP +187 (DK 7200) (FD $12) (Muhammad works too)

SUMMARY:

On Saturday’s fourteen-bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 5 GPP lineups. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of about 100 percent of my lineups. Some fights in this slate are tricky to predict a winner and all fights are pretty close in skillset as UFC fighters are the elite of the elite. UFC VEGAS 28.

ROZENSTRUIK V SAKAI

I hope you were able to do well off of the last article, we had another banger and I saw some nice success all around, let’s hope for some more success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 4:00 PM EST and has 14 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 4:00 PM EST

Exposure to the main event IS NOT highly recommended. DFS production in this fight will usually be high as it is a five-round fight but this fight is not between two high output fighters. I will be branching away from the Main Event.

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Vegas 28, Rozenstruik v Sakai.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Claudio Puelles (+170) (DK 7200) (FD $10) vs. Jordan Leavitt (-200) (DK 9000) (FD $20).

It’s a rough slate when it comes to clear value plays but given what I’ve seen out of both fighters I am not sure why the odds were so far apart. This seems like a much closer fight between two rising prospects and although it may end up being a grappling competition (not the greatest for DFS production) Puelles should be able to make it a competitive fight if not win. Leavitt’s last win against Wiman was very impressive but ended extremely quickly and we weren’t able to gauge his full skill set. Puelles is nothing to scoff at either. He already has two UFC wins under his belt and despite not competing in the octagon since 2018, he did have a stellar third-round kneebar against Felipe Silva back in 2018. With that said, expect this fight to go to the ground as both fighters will favour a grappling match.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Claudio Puelles (+170) (DK 7200) (FD $10). THIRD ROUND SUBMISSION (possible UNANIMOUS DECISION).

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Manon Fiorot (-550) (DK 8500) (FD $18) vs. Tabitha Ricci (+400) (DK 6600) (FD $–).

Those in the discord got a sneak preview of this pick and here it is. Fiorot is the chalk of the slate. Her original fight against Moroz had her favoured at -165 but with Moroz dropping out right before the fight Ricci is coming in on extremely short notice to keep the fight going. Ricci is making her UFC debut and is currently undefeated at 5-0, while Fiorot is at 6-1 but that’s where the similarities end. Fiorot is the taller fighter by a substantial margin, has a wider reach, has UFC experience and has beaten opponents with winning records. The opening odds were not kind to Ricci and it’s hard to argue with it given the circumstances. There are some questions around Fiorot’s ground game but she is a boxer by trade and will most likely keep the fight on the feet.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Manon Fiorot (-550) (DK 8500) (FD $18) FIRST ROUND TKO

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Tom Breese (-250) (DK 9200) (FD $21) vs. Antonio Arroyo (+200) (DK 7000) (FD $10).

Tom Breese is in an excellent spot following his loss last fight to Akhmedov. Tonight he has an opponent who frankly is not UFC calibre competition. In many ways, Arroyo is similar to one of Breese’s previous opponents KB Bhullar. After earning a UFC contract on the Contender Series, Arroyo proceeded to drop his next two fights in decision losses. The second of which being a wrestling clinic where Arroyo was taken down TWELVE times! Arroyo is now 9-4, has lost his only two UFC fights and is on the verge of being cut, while Breese has already had three performances of the night and a hard-fought split decision loss against Sean Strickland. Although this fight is most likely going to remain on the feet, Breese is more than capable of dealing with Arroyo on the ground as he has a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Tom Breese (-250) (DK 9200) (FD $21) SECOND ROUND TKO.

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Jairzhino Rozenstruik -125 (DK 8200) (FD $19)

Dusko Todorovic -138 (DK 8600) (FD $17) (his opponent is coming in on short notice, but the line is shrinking)

Roman Dolidze -150 (DK 8400) (FD $16)

Marcin Tybura -175 (DK 8700) (FD $17)

Santiago Ponzinibbio +110 (DK 7900) (FD $15) (Baeza works too)

Sean Woodson -175 (DK 8800) (FD $20) (Zalal GPP)

Mason Jones -300 (DK 9500) (FD $23)

Muslim Salikhov -250 (DK 9100) (FD $22)

Ilir Latifi GPP +162 (DK 7300) (FD $11)

Ariane Lipski GPP +225 (DK 6900) (FD $9)

Makwan Amirkahni GPP -200 (DK 9400) (FD $21) (Kirk works too)

SUMMARY:

UFC VEGAS 27.

FONT V GARBRANDT

I hope you were able to do well off of last week’s article, we had another banger and I saw tons of success all around, let’s hope for some more success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 4:00 PM EST and has 13 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 4:00 PM EST

Exposure to the main event IS highly recommended. DFS production in this fight will be high as it is a five-round fight but this fight is not between two high output fighters. I will not be branching away from the Main Event.

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Vegas 27, Font v Garbrandt.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Claudio Silva (-110) (DK 8200) (FD $14) vs. Court McGee (-110) (DK 8000) (FD $15).

I had a tough choice to make here since there are two solid value options tonight. I ended up siding with Claudio Silva because I just don’t understand how he is the dog in this matchup. Medeiros has lost his last three, so bookies making him the dog makes a little more sense, Silva, though? Wow. So Silva has only lost one fight in his last 14 years against James Krause by UD. Krause won that fight but not walking away, and nonetheless, before that fight, Silva had submitted his previous three UFC opponents, with two coming in the first round. It’s unfortunate that Claudio’s career has been hindered so much by injury but against a fighter in Court McGee who has lost his last three bouts and has lost five of his last six, he should be able to get himself back on track. There is a lot of value on Claudio Silva here. I would highly recommend having some shares tonight.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Claudio Silva (-110) (DK 7800) (FD $14). THIRD ROUND SUBMISSION.

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

David Dvorak (-450) (DK 8800) (FD $18) vs. Juancamilo Ronderos (+350) (DK 6800) (FD $12).

Ok, this is going to be the most straightforward play on the whole card. Dvorak was a favourite against his original opponent Paiva who had to pull out of the fight due to weight cut complications. As a result, Dvorak is set to face off against Juancamilo Ronderos, who has only had 4 professional MMA fights. Not to mention Ronderos came in 2.5 lbs overweight. Considering that Dvorak was priced for his original opponent and he is facing a massive step down in competition ahead, this will be one of the more straightforward plays I ever recommend. Since FanDuel and DraftKings have been releasing their slates later, value plays based on circumstances like this have been rarer and rarer. Take advantage while it’s here.

MY UFC DFS PICK: David Dvorak (-450) (DK 8200) (FD $18) SECOND ROUND TKO

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Felicia Spencer (-175) (DK 8700) (FD $21) vs. Norma Dumont (+150) (DK 7500) (FD $11).

The odds in this fight are legitimately shocking and I don’t see any way I can avoid playing Felicia Spencer tonight. Spencer has only been outworked by some of the best in the game and even then she went five rounds with Nunes… Super huge accomplishment for the former Invicta FC Champion. Her opponent has yet to beat someone of Spencer’s calibre and also had that very unimpressive loss against Megan Anderson, who has been defeated by Felicia Spencer. Dumont is a late replacement in this matchup but she was expecting to fight earlier in the year so the lack of notice may not be as big of a factor as some may think. The bigger concern for Dumont is that this matchup does not look good for her. The interesting thing is that statistically, Spencer’s UFC stats don’t look too great but bear in mind that she absorbed nearly 250 sig strikes against Cyborg and Nunes combined which throws her statistics completely out of proportion since those make up two out of her four record fights. Her other two wins were first-round finishes (one sub, one KO). With that in mind, as long as her opponent is not named Amanda Nunes or Cris Cyborg, feel comfortable siding with the Canadian in this matchup.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Felicia Spencer (-175) (DK 8700) (FD $21) SECOND ROUND TKO (possible SECOND ROUND SUBMISSION).

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Rob Font -110 (DK 8300) (FD $18) (Garbrandt works too, I don’t like Garbrandt’s fight IQ at all, he takes silly risks and doesn’t defend properly, if he gets tagged he’ll be in huge trouble)

Jack Hermansson -160 (DK 8900) (FD $20) (His opponent has one of the worst coaches in MMA, and his opponent got dismantled by Derek Brunson)

Yancy Medeiros +110 (DK 7800) (FD $13) (Damir Hadzovic works too)

Ricardo Ramos +100 (DK 7700) (FD $14) (Bill Algeo works too)

Justin Tafa -188 (DK 9000) (FD $20) (Jared Vanderaa works too)

Ben Rothwell -350 (DK 9200) (FD $20)

Bruno Silva -400 (DK 8100) (FD $22)

Damir Ismagulov -550 (DK 9500) (FD $23) (FADE, way too expensive, not enough output)

Josh Culibalo -250 (DK 9100) (FD $21)

Yan Xiaonan -125 (DK 8600) (FD $17) (Carla Esparza works too)

SUMMARY:

On Saturday’s fourteen bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 5 GPP lineup. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of about 100 percent of my lineups. Some fights in this slate are tricky to predict a winner and all fights are pretty close in skillset as UFC fighters are the elite of the elite.

UFC 262.

OLIVEIRA V CHANDLER

I hope you were able to do well off of last week’s article, we had another banger and I saw tons of success all around, let’s hope for some more success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 6:30 PM EST and has 12 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 6:30 PM EST

Exposure to the main event IS highly recommended. DFS production in this fight will be high as it is a five-round fight but this fight is not between two high output fighters. I will not be branching away from the Main Event.

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC 262, Oliveira v Chandler.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Edson Barboza (+125) (DK 7800) (FD $12) vs. Shane Burgos (-150) (DK 8400) (FD $20).

The odds on this one are kinda strange to me. There is no doubt in my mind that this is a very close fight, and if I were to give the edge to someone, it would be to Barboza. The last time we saw Burgos, he got absolutely dominated by an injured Josh Emmett on the feet. While in Barbosa’s last appearance, he completely dominated Makwan Amirkahni. Statistically, Burgos has an extremely high SLpM but also has a really high SApM. That’s not the best combo to have against Barboza, who is definitely a good striker in his own right who can strike with serious power when he’s on his game. If we see the Barboza who fought against Amirkhani and Hooker, I think Barboza will have an excellent chance of winning this fight. Not to mention Barboza’s last two fights came from split decision losses where he arguably got robbed (started strong, faded late, with a very even second round), and the third last loss in his career was a fight of the night against Justin Gaethje, no shame in that.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Edson Barboza (+125) (DK 7800) (FD $12). UNANIMOUS DECISION.

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Mike Grundy (-125) (DK 8200) (FD $17) vs. Lando Vannata (+100) (DK 8000) (FD $10).

Vannata has never really fought someone of Grundy’s wrestling pedigree, and I think stylistically, this is a great spot for Grundy, who is a pretty accomplished freestyle wrestler. His stats against Evloev just go to show what Grundy is capable of doing to his opponents since, despite the decision loss to Evloev, Grundy was able to take him down… six… times. Usually, it’s Evloev who shoots for the takedowns, but Grundy was able to completely outwrestle a pretty stellar prospect in Evloev. Vannata has also had some holes exposed in his game in his second fight with Bobby Green. Vannata just seemed to be a step behind the entire fight, and it wasn’t a good look at all. The other thing of note here is that Vannata is going down a weight class here from Lightweight to Featherweight and despite Vannata saying he had a great cut, and I don’t think he looked the greatest on the scales. We’ll see how he holds up if the fight does make it to the later rounds.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Mike Grundy (-125) (DK 8200) (FD $17) UNANIMOUS DECISION (possible SECOND ROUND TKO)

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Matt Schnell (-170) (DK 8900) (FD $20) vs. Rogerio Bontorin (+140) (DK 7300) (FD $11).

Schnell has been able to put together a decent string of performances as of late, whereas Bontorin hasn’t given me much to be impressed with. Given the stats, this seems like a fight destined to stay on the feet and in that realm, Schnell has a clear edge over Bontorin. Schnell is a lot more aggressive than Bontorin, yet he still maintains a decently high strike defence percentage of 62% while also holding a clear advantage in SLpM. We saw that in action as Schnell was able to completely dominate Tyson Nam on the feet. Not to mention Schnell really does avoid getting taken down but has still been able to submit UFC calibre opponents when the fight does transition to the ground. Also, the longer this fight goes on, the longer I like Schnell. I think he holds a clear cardio advantage over Bontorin.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Matt Schnell (-170) (DK 8900) (FD $20) SECOND ROUND TKO (possible SECOND ROUND SUBMISSION).

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Charles Oliveira -125 (DK 8700) (FD $21) (Chandler works great too)

Christos Giagos -225 (DK 9100) (FD $23)

Tucker Lutz -110 (DK 8300) (FD $16) (Kevin Aguilar works too)

Antonia Shevchenko -125 (DK 9200) (FD $17)

Jacare Souza -125 (DK 8500) (FD $15)

Viviane Araujo +110 (DK 7400) (FD $12) (Kaitlin Chookagian works too)

Jordan Wright -110 (DK 8100) (FD $14)

Gina Mazany -188 (DK 9300) (FD $22) (FADE, way too expensive, not enough output)

Beneil Dariush -170 (DK 8600) (FD $21) (Tony Ferguson works too)

UFC VEGAS 26.

RODRIGUEZ V WATERSON

I hope you were able to do well off of last week’s article, we had another banger and I saw some success in the premium chat, let’s hope for some success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 6:00 PM EST and has 10 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 6:00 PM EST

Exposure to the main event IS NOT highly recommended. DFS production in this fight will usually be high as it is a five-round fight but this fight is not between two high output fighters. I will be branching away from the Main Event.

We will have separate value plays for each site since both sites have been slow on adding different fights to the slate.

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Vegas 26, Rodriguez v Waterson.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Alex Morono (+162) (DK 7800) (FD $10) vs. Donald Cerrone (-188) (DK 8400) (FD $22).

It wasn’t fun to lose the Rothwell fight to his opponent’s weigh-in, but it is what it is. In my opinion, this fight still holds tremendous value. Regardless of whether or not Morono pulls it off, he will get a lot of strikes in, and these two should have quite the brawl in the co-main event. If you want to see what I mean, check out Morono’s fight against Rhys McKee. Although McKee and Cerrone arent in the same universe, it’ll give you some idea as to how often Morono can land strikes in a single fight. On top of that, Morono secured three takedowns in that fight. With Cerrone at four straight losses with one no contest, it’s also very possible that this could end up being Cerrone’s last fight in the UFC if the fight doesn’t go his way. Stats-wise, Morono has a high SLpM by .05 and absorbs fewer strikes at a .077 rate in the UFC. Depending on how Morono approaches this fight, it could springboard him to future opportunities in the Welterweight division.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Alex Morono (+162) (DK 7800) (FD $10). UNANIMOUS DECISION.

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Amanda Ribas (-188) (DK 8800) (FD $19) vs. Angela Hill (+162) (DK 7400) (FD $11).

This fight doesn’t seem close to me at all. Despite the fact that we saw Ribas lose her last fight, it was against Marina Rodriguez, who has striking power that Hill just doesn’t have. Ribas is also supremely better equipped on the ground and still stronger than Hill on the feet. This is a great bounce-back matchup for Ribas, and the stats definitely favour the Brazilian. Hill does have a high volume of punches but also absorbs A LOT of strikes, and as soon as Ribas transitions the fight to the ground, the fight won’t last for much longer.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Amanda Ribas (-188) (DK 8800) (FD $19) SECOND ROUND SUBMISSION.

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Gregor Gillespie (-160) (DK 8900) (FD $21) vs. Diego Ferreira (+130) (DK 7300) (FD $10).

In my opinion, this is the fight I am looking forward to the most as a bettor. Gillespie is an insanely talented wrestler, and Ferreira will find out just how dominant Gregor is in transitioning the fight to the ground. Gillespie currently averages over 7 takedowns a fight but doesn’t usually get to that number because he often puts his opponents away well before the 15-minute mark. Gillespie had a tough outing in his last fight but generally speaking, Gillespie has a high output and often takes the decision out of the judges’ hands and ends the fight with style, currently having two performances of the night and one fight of the night in only 7 UFC fights.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Gregor Gillespie (-160) (DK 8900) (FD $21) FIRST-ROUND SUBMISSION. (possible SECOND-ROUND TKO)

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Ludovit Klein -250 (DK 9400) (FD $23) (Triziano Deep GPP Play, this really should be Klein’s fight)

Phil Hawes +110 (DK 7900) (FD $14) (Kyle Daukaus works too)

Tafon Nchukwi -138 (DK 8500) (FD $17) (Park GPP)

Marcos Rogerio de Lima -188 (DK 9100) (FD $21) (Greene GPP)

Geoff Neal -200 (DK 9000) (FD $20)

Marina Rodriguez -210 (DK 9200) (FD $20) (FADE)

Carlston Harris -163 (DK 8600) (FD $18)

UFC VEGAS 25.

REYES V PROCHAZKA

I hope you were able to do well off of last week’s article, we had another banger aside from a freak injury, let’s hope for some success again tonight. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 7:00 PM EST and has 11 action-packed fights! So let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 7:00 PM EST

As alluded to, exposure to the main event IS highly recommended. DFS production in this fight will be high as it is a five-round fight between two high output fighters. I’m definitely not against branching away from the Main Event. There will be three top plays followed by honorable mentions. The Main Event WILL NOT be featured as one of my top three plays (Top Value Play, Locked In-Play, or Top Scoring Play) but WILL be featured in my Honorable Mention category. My Main Event target will be a top play. Now let’s get ready to make some money!

We will have separate value plays for each site since both sites have been slow on adding different fights to the slate.

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Vegas 25, Reyes vs. Procházka.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

TJ Brown (+130) (DK 7800) (FD $14) vs. Kai Kamaka III (-160) (DK 8400) (FD $16).

The juice is coming in late on Brown, and I’m glad bettors are starting to see things my way on this matchup. The line has been bet down to nearly even, and there’s a clear reason for that. Brown is the bigger fighter. He’s a seasoned wrestler and has what it takes to make this a long drawn out gritty fight. Definitely more appealing for DraftKings with control time, but if he can transition this fight to the ground, it may not even last too long as we’ve seen Kamaka lose to Jonathan Pearce in frankly embarrassing fashion after a sequence of easy takedowns in the second round. He simply stopped defending himself and ate TONS of unanswered shots after letting himself get flattened out on his back TWICE. Brown is coming off two straight losses, but both were able to do things that I do not believe Kamaka is able to do, especially considering how close the Chavez fight was and how dominant TJ Brown was before being submitted by Jordan Griffin.

MY UFC DFS PICK: TJ Brown (+130) (DK 8400) (FD $14). SECOND-ROUND SUBMISSION (possible UNANIMOUS DECISION.)

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Sean Strickland (-275) (DK 8500) (FD $22) vs. Krzysztof Jotko (+225) (DK 7700) (FD $10).

Strickland talks… a lot. In many ways, he’s more annoying than Kevin Holland in the cage, but he’s a damn good fighter. He can pick apart high-level prospects like Brendan Allen with ease and, more importantly, without being taken down with his 81% takedown defence. Strickland lands way more strikes than Jotko does with over 2 SLpM more than Jotko. This analysis is not to say that Jotko is necessarily a bad fighter, but Strickland is just better on the feet, which is most likely where the fight is going to stay.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Sean Strickland (-275) (DK 8500) (FD $22) SECOND ROUND TKO.

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Giga Chikadze (-175) (DK 8900) (FD $18) vs. Cub Swanson (+150) (DK 7300) (FD $13).

Despite Cub’s win in his last fight, I still think he’s on the back end of his career against a company up and comer looking to make a name for himself. Cub’s last win was more a sign of his opponent’s lack of cardio than his fighting ability. Nevertheless, Chikadze is one of the most powerful counter strikers in his division, and his kick is INSANE. The Giga Kick has sent people directly out, as was seen in his last fight, and there is no doubt that it’ll be in Chikadze’s portfolio for this matchup in this matchup. He’s also reasonably priced compared to what the odds show. Swanson still probably has some ring rust as he hasn’t faced a strong opponent in years, and Chikadze has been extremely active with four fights and four wins in 2020 alone.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Giga Chikadze (-175) (DK 8900) (FD $18) FIRST-ROUND TKO. (possible SECOND-ROUND TKO)

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Dominick Reyes +110 (DK 9400) (FD $18) (really close fight, Prochazka works too)

Dustin Jacoby +110 (DK 9500) (FD $14) (Ion Cutelaba works too)

Merab Dvalishvili -250 (DK 7200) (FD $23) (Stamann GPP)

Luana Pinheiro -170 (DK 8300) (FD $17)

Poliana Botelho -250 (DK 9200) (FD $21)

Loma Lookboonmee -400 (DK 7400) (FD $21) (FADE)

Andreas Michailidis -225 (DK 8700) (FD $20)

Felipe Colares GPP +110 (DK 8200) (FD $14) (Close, Luke Sanders works too)

UFC 261.

USMAN v MASVIDAL 2

I hope you were able to do well off of last week’s article, and that’s about all I want to say regarding last week’s slate. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 5:45 PM EST and has 13 action-packed fights with THREE TITLE FIGHTS. So let’s get right into the action! Because title fights are automatically five-round fight’s you’ll want exposure to as many of the title fights as you can within reason…

SLATE STARTS AT 5:45 PM EST

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC 261, Usman v Masvidal 2.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Karl Roberson (+140) (DK 7800) (FD $13) vs. Brendan Allen (-170) (DK 8400) (FD $15).

Roberson is a hard hitter but Allen is really gonna challenge him on the mat and can definitely keep up with him in the striking department, holding a higher SLpM than Roberson over his UFC career. Allen already has plenty of big names under his belt and has proven that he can end a fight quickly both on the feet and on the ground. Roberson has found some success in the UFC but struggled in his last fight and has a tendency of getting submitted early on into fights, a bad tendency to have against Allen.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Brendan Allen (+200) (DK 8400) (FD $15). FIRST-ROUND SUBMISSION (possible SECOND-ROUND SUBMISSION.)

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Danaa Batagrel (-200) (DK 8500) (FD $18) vs. Kevin Natividad (+170) (DK 7700) (FD $12).

Natividad didn’t really stand a chance in his last fight against Miles Johns. He was ought fought in all aspect until he got knocked out midway through the third round. Natividad had no output in his lone UFC fight whereas even in a loss Batagrel has put on a show, putting up 86 SIG strikes in a loss, despite being taken down three times, simply insane output. That fight was good enough for a fight of night performance and Batagrel showed that performance up with a first round KO 3 minutes into his following appearance. Batagrel will need to work on his ground work and takedown defense moving forward but Natividad should not be proving to be a serious take down threat to Batagrel.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Danaa Batagrel (-200) (DK 8500) (FD $18) SECOND ROUND TKO.

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Jimmy Crute (-200) (DK 8900) (FD $19) vs. Anthony Smith (+170) (DK 7300) (FD $12).

Jimmy hits like an 18-wheel truck and although Smith’s grit has gotten him to where he is in the UFC he will simply be overwhelmed by Crute’s brute strength. Four first-round finishes in six UFC fights should tell you all you need to know about Crute, his other submission win came against submission specialist Paul Craig and his sole loss came at the hands of the always dangerous Misha Cirunkov, no shame in that loss. Crute can really do it all, hit hard and challenge you on the ground, can’t ask for much more. Smith on the other hand has struggled with inconsistency in his UFC career that dates all the way back to 2013. Smith doesn’t have nearly the striking volume and has struggled a bit in the takedown defence department over his professional career. This is a fantastic matchup for Crute and should rise his overall stock in the organization.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Jimmy Crute (-200) (DK 8900) (FD $19) FIRST-ROUND TKO.

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(Not in order)

Kamaru Usman -400 (DK 9400) (FD $23) (Masvidal GPP)

Valentina Shevchenko -450 (DK 9500) (FD $22)

Rose Namajunas GPP +170 (DK 7200) (FD $17) (Weili Zhag works too)

Uriah Hall GPP +100 (DK 8300) (FD $15) (Both these fighter’s met around the starts of their careers, fitting they both meet around the end too. Don’t expect a ton of output but Hall should have this one, Weidman is not what he used to be)

Dwight Grant -200 (DK 9200) (FD $20) (Tough draw Sekulic, Grant should put him out cold, just depends on when)

Tristan Connelly GPP +200 (DK 7400) (FD $10)

Randy Brown -163 (DK 8700) (FD $16) (Cowboy is most likely close to the end of the road and this fight can easily be seen as passing the torch)

Qileng Aori GPP +100 (DK 8200) (FD $15)

Zhu Rong GPP -225 (DK 9100) (FD $21)

Ariane Carnelossi -225 (DK 8600) (FD $18)

SUMMARY:

On Saturday’s fourteen bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 4 GPP lineups. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of about 75 percent of my lineups. Some fights in this slate are tricky to predict a winner and all fights are pretty close in skillset as UFC fighters are the elite of the elite. I will use a hedging technique on the fights that are closer in odds. I’m focusing on building a GPP winning lineup.

UFC Vegas 24.

WHITTAKER v GASTELUM

I hope you were able to do well off of last week’s article, and that’s about all I want to say regarding last week’s slate. Tonight, we have a slate that starts at 7:00 PM EST and has 11 action-packed fights (some more than others). So let’s get right into the action! This week had a lot of cancellations, so we have a lot of fighters coming in on short notice and some other interesting matchups to discuss, so let’s get right into it. Also if you’re interested in Jake Paul vs Ben Askren, that’s tonight as well. Ben should win by decision, but we’ll have to wait and see, I will not be betting on that fight. (Ben is not a striker, but he’ll be able to take Jake’s shots without question. Also and most importantly, Ben has fought against boxers and actual professional fighters, Jake hasn’t and Ben will make this a dirty fight if he has to)

SLATE STARTS AT 7:00 PM EST

Exposure to the main event IS highly recommended mandatory.

Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Vegas 24, Whittaker v Gastelum.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):

Luis Pena (-150) (DK 8700) (FD $19) vs. Alex Munoz (+125) (DK 7500) (FD $12).

So this fight is back after being cancelled early last year. Perez has since lost his undefeated record at the hands of Nasrat Haqparast, and that being said, I don’t think Pena will be able to do what Haqparast did to Munoz. Pena is much smaller in stature, doesn’t strike as hard, and in terms of volume, both fighters are extremely similar, getting just over 3 strikes per minute each. Munoz’s last few fights have gone to a decision, but prior to that, he was finishing guys in the first round consistently. On the other hand, Pena has had a bit of a shaky tenure in the UFC after starting strong on the Ultimate Fighter, never quite being able to rise to the occasion in tough matchups. Getting subbed by Khama Worthy is just such a bad look too. We’ll see if Pena can show a better account of himself, but this fight is really, really close, and I like Munoz as a dog in this one.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Alex Munoz (+125) (DK 7500) (FD $12). UNANIMOUS DECISION.

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Alexandr Romanov (-138) (DK 8800) (FD $18) vs. Juan Espino (+110) (DK 7400) (FD $12).

This really sucks. I think both of these prospects have a ton of promise and will have strong futures. Both of these guys are in a division that is sorely lacking talent, which both these guys have in spades. Essentially we have two heavyweights who are skilled fighters AND can knock your lights out with one punch. As a fan, this matchup is one hell of a treat, but as a bettor, you know both of these guys have what it takes to take control of a fight. That being said, Romanov is a different kind of prospect. Espino has a massive pair of cajones for stepping into the cage tonight because the undefeated Romanov is one scary dude. I will have a little Espino but make no mistake. I am in on Romanov in this slate. Enjoy this one; it’s gonna be an absolute banger. These guys’ fights don’t usually last too long.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Alexandr Romanov (-138) (DK 8800) (FD $18) FIRST ROUND SUBMISSION (possible SECOND ROUND TKO).

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Abdul Razak Alhassan (-300) (DK 9300) (FD $22) vs. Jacob Malkoun (+240) (DK 6900) (FD $9).

I think Alhassan made the right decision in moving up a weight class. Last fight, it looked like he really suffered from the cut, and it cost him as he was on the receiving end of one of the most brutal knockouts I’ve ever seen. On the other side, we have Malkoun, whose claim to fame is being Rob Whittaker’s training partner. I don’t think that’ll help him as much as he wants it to in this matchup. Alhassan has some brutal stuff, putting out iron chins like Niko Price like he was a speed bag. Even if he chooses to fight at a distance, he has some really nasty kicks that’ll get Malkoun’s attention right away. Malkoun is going to be the undersized fighter in this matchup, and with Alhassan in his element, Malkoun is gonna have some serious problems. As far as Malkoun’s only UFC fight against Phil Hawes… well, yikes. He was fed to the sharks and was put out really fast, like 18 seconds fast.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Abdul Razak Alhassan (-300) (DK 9300) (FD $22) FIRST-ROUND TKO (possible SECOND-ROUND TKO).

UFC HONORABLE MENTION:

(In order of preference)

Robert Whittaker -275 (DK 9100) (FD $21)

Tony Gravely -300 (DK 9400) (FD $23) (Anthony Birchak GPP)

Drakkar Klose +100 (DK 7800) (FD $15) (Jeremy Stephens GPP, honestly I see Klose winning this one, Jeremy has faced some tough competition but hasn’t been competitive in a fight since early 2018 but before then he was considered near the top of the division)

Tracey Cortez -275 (DK 9000) (FD $20)

Austin Hubbard -175 (DK 8900) (FD $18) (Fighting against a really late replacement making his UFC debut)

Lupita Godinez -300 (DK 9200) (FD $21) (Damn Loopy is good, her tape is phenomenal, definitely should get the win over Penne)

Chase Sherman +110 (DK 7700) (FD $14) (I don’t think fighters should be calling themselves the “vanilla gorilla” anymore, it’s corny and unoriginal. That being said he’s fighting a fossil who is also coming in on short notice, I really like Sherman as a dog in this matchup)

Gerald Meerschart GPP +100 (DK 7900) (FD $13) (Submission specialist if Fabianski tries to test Meerschart on the ground he’s gonna have a tough matchup, and we’ve seen Fabianski tap to UFC competition. That being said Fabianski works too)
