Welcome to another CS:GO Breakdown for both DraftKingsand FanDuel! Yesterday went fairly well; we missed on the Team Heretics GPPplay while Winstrike and Team Liquid also both took losses, although I did sayto fade those games. GPP calls in Ninjas in Pyjamas and Envy worked outtremendously, while top stacks Astralis and Complexity hit big! Let’s dive intothe next slate:

CS:GO Summary

9 total games: 3 at 9am EST, 4 at 12:30pm EST, 2 at4pm EST

Optimal stack on DK is 3-3

Optimal stack on FD is 3-2-1, one-off is preferable atthe team spot

9am EST CS:GO Stack Target: Natus Vincere (-800)

With their star player leading the way, NAVI should cruise in this one versus Hard Legion. s1mple ($10,600 DK) is one of the best CS:GO players to roster in DFS, with his 1.48 K/D ratio ranking second in the entire player field, making him an elite target in the process. The problem with NAVI is that the rest of their squad doesn’t compare to their star player, but for stack purposes, roll out electronic ($7,400 DK) with Boombl4 ($6,200 DK) or flamie ($5,800 DK).

2nd stack: Virtus Pro (-275): Jame($8,600 DK), qikert ($7,800 DK), buster ($8,000 DK)

12:30pm EST CS:GO Stack Target: FAZE (-900)

Elite fantasy production in a perfect matchup, what’snot to like? Don’t overthink this one, load up on coldzera ($7,600 DK), NiKo($9,000 DK), and broky ($7,800 DK) with coldzera being my favorite captainbecause of the savings it gives you versus playing NiKo there. We’ve seen theodd game or two where rain ($7,000 DK) outproduces broky ($7,800 DK), but I’mnot buying it in this one; broky’s K/D ratio smashes rain’s at 1.21 compared to0.96.

2nd stack: G2 (-800): nexa($7,200 DK), kennyS ($7,800 DK), huNter- ($7,400 DK)

4pm EST CS:GO Stack Target: Team Liquid (-400)

Coming off a tough loss to FURIA yesterday, TeamLiquid will bounce back versus Cloud9 today. Stack this usual suspects in thisone: EliGe ($8,600 DK) and NAF ($8,200) make an excellent 1-2 punch; round itout with Stewie2K ($6,400) or Twistzz ($6,800 DK), with the former being myfavorite of the two.

2nd stack: hedge both GenG andFURIA

FURIA: KSCERATO ($8,400 DK),HEN1 ($7,400 DK), yuurih ($7,000 DK)

GenG: BnTeT ($7,000 DK),koosta ($7,200 DK), autimatic ($7,600 DK)

Welcome to the CS:GO Breakdown for the 05/09 slate onboth DraftKings and FanDuel!

CS:GO Summary

9 total games: 3 at 9am EST, 4 at 12:30pm EST, 2 at 4pm EST. DK has 3 slates at each time, while FD has a main slate at 12:30pm EST and a late hours slate at 4pm EST.

Optimal stack on DK is 3-3

Optimal stack on FD is 3-2-1, one-off is preferable atthe team spot

CS:GO Game 1: forZe (-225) vs Gambit Youngsters

Pick: forZe

Top plays: xsepower ($9,000 DK), FL1T ($7,600 DK),Jerry ($5,800 DK)

Notes: play forZe in this one, no debate about it

CS:GO Game 2: Unique vs Nemiga (-900)

Pick: Nemiga

Top Plays: lollipop21k ($8,400 DK), speed4k ($8,200DK), Jyo ($7,400 DK)

Notes: do not touch Unique under any circumstances

CS:GO Game 3: Winstrike vs Team Spirit (-188)

Pick: Fading this game, if playing it I lean Winstrike

Top Plays: El1an ($8,000 DK), Hobbit ($6,800), bondik($6,200 DK)

Notes: Could go either way, GPP upside is favored withWinstrike

CS:GO Game 4: Dignitas vs Complexity (-175)

Pick: Complexity

Top plays: blameF ($7,000 DK / $10,300 FD), poison ($7,600DK / $10,500 FD), k0nfig ($8,600 DK / $10,300 FD)

Notes: Complexity is a cash lock and a great play in all formats

CS:GO Game 5: ENCE vs Astralis (-600)

Pick: Astralis

Top Plays: Xyp9x ($7,800 DK / $10,700 FD), device ($8,200 DK / $11,800 FD), magisk ($8,000 DK / $12,000 FD), dupreeh ($7,000 DK / $10,500 FD)

Notes: Astralis is probably my favorite stack on theentire day

CS:GO Game 6: Fnatic (-188) vs Ninjas in Pyjamas

Pick: Ninjas in Pyjamas

Top Plays: Plopski ($6,600 DK / $10,400 FD), REZ($6,600 DK / $10,400 FD), nawwk ($6,800 DK / $11,000 FD)

Notes: FNC could easily win behind Brollan and flusha, but I’m going for the upset here and leverage in GPPs. If playing FNC, roll out Brollan, flusha or KRIMZ (prefer flusha), and to save salary, JW.

CS:GO Game 7: Team Vitality (-225) vs Team Heretics

Pick: Team Heretics

Top Plays: Maka ($9,200 DK / $12,300 FD), Nivera ($7,400 DK / $11,600 FD), Lucky ($6,800 DK / $10,200 FD)

Notes: Vit is terrible other than ZywOo, if they win,he’ll hit 90+

CS:GO Game 8: Envy vs 100 Thieves (-225)

Pick: Envy

Top Plays: MICHU ($7,600 DK / $12,000 FD), Calyx($7,800 DK / $11,400 FD), Nifty ($6,600 DK / $9,600 FD)

Notes: could go either way, my lean is with Envy and they’ve pulled off some major upsets before

CS:GO Game 9: FURIA vs Team Liquid (-150)

Pick: hedge this game 100%, if picking one then I’lltake Team Liquid

Top Plays: EliGe ($8,800 DK / $12,000 FD), NAF ($8,600DK / $10,600 FD), Stewie2K ($6,200 DK / $9,900 FD)

Notes: Two top teams, definitely recommend a hedge to get exposure to both sides. If playing FURIA, roll out KSCERATO, HEN1, and yuurih

Win Daily Show Interview with Jim Thomson

On this Win Daily Show Interview with Jim Thomson, he and Michael discuss how Jim became one of the best esports DFS players in the world.

Our very own Jim Thomson joins Michael Rasile to discuss his blossoming career in the daily fantasy sports sports. Jim has been apart of the Win Daily team for a few months after showing the traits of a true teammate before he even was one!

JT is a positive, caring guy who loves to help those around him. We discuss how he got into dfs and how he was able to land a spot here on the team by helping others before he was ever asked to do so. In our Discord Chat, Jim was answering questions of the other subscribers and lending a hand to those around him. He reached out to make sure that he wasn’t stepping on anyone’s toes, but we were all for it! After seeing him continue to do this, Jason reached out and asked if he wanted to join the team. He now is a valued member of the Win Daily Sports team helping other subs with their takedowns.

He is now apart of our two-headed monster when it comes to esports and he has been CRUSHING it. JT created his own projection model that we use on the site and considering all the takedowns he and all our subscribers have gotten, it seems to be working well. As you will hear, Jim has always been a “math guy” which allows him to see the numbers and build something as complex as a projection model with ease.

Welcome to the WinDaily CS:GO breakdown for May 7th! When playing CS:GO, you want to stack your teams similar to what you do in other sports, such as MLB and NHL. On DraftKings, a 3-3 stack is optimal, whereas a 3-2-1 stack on FanDuel is recommended because they require 3 teams be played; ideally, you want your one-off to be at the team spot. We have multiple slates on both sites, so let’s get to it!

forZe (-1400) vs Unique (9am EST)

Coming in as the biggest CS:GO favorites on the slate, forZe stacks will be good for cash games. I do fear that they may win tooquickly to carry enough upside in a GPP, but xsepower ($9,600 DK/$11,300 FD) andFL1T ($8,000 DK / $10,600 FD) should lead the way for an easy 2-0 forZe sweep. If running a 3-man stack, round it out with facecrack ($7,200 DK / $9,200 FD)or Jerry ($6,200 DK / $10,000 FD).

Team Spirit (-350) vs Nemiga (9am EST)

Team Spirit are one of my main CS:GO GPP targets withChopper ($9,200 DK / $10,300 FD) being the primary target with 50 kills per gameover his last 3. If you need the savings, my next targets would be somedieyoung($6,800 DK / $10,100 FD) and iDiSBALANCE ($7,400 DK / $9,900 FD) who lead theteam with K/D ratios of 1.17 and 1.16, respectively.

Winstrike (-150) vs Gambit Youngsters (9am EST)

I’ll likely be fading this game because of the close spread, but if you’re rolling with one of these CS:GO teams in deep GPPs, I recommend the underdog in Gambit Youngsters. The players I’d target would be sh1ro ($10,200 DK / $11,400 FD) and Ax1Le ($6,600 DK / $9,800 FD).

G2 (-900) vs C0ntact (12:30pm EST)

G2 is second to forZe in my top CS:GO plays on the slate being heavy favorites over a terrible C0ntact squad. As usual, the top targets are nexa ($8,200 DK / $11,400 FD), kennyS ($9,000 DK / $12,000 FD), and huNter- ($7,800 DK / $11,600 FD), with nexa being my favorite in the captain spot due to recent form.

North (-160) vs Movistar Raiders (12:30pm EST)

A good game to save salary on both sites, I’ll behedging this game with shares of both CS:GO squads. My top targets on North areaizy ($8,800 DK / $10,200 FD) and MSL ($7,200 DK / $9,800 FD), while ALEX($8,600 DK / $9,600 FD), steel ($6,800 DK / $9,500 FD), and mopoz ($6,600 DK /$9,300 FD) are in play on the Movistar side.

I’ll be focusing on my core plays for the 5.6 DFS Tournament for DK LoL, DK CSGO, and interviewing the hottest esports player, JThomson. This article is focused around DraftKings ONLY. This is what I plan to do with my 7 lineups for each competitions!

LOL – EU Masters – 5.5 DFS

It’s a 2 game slate with JNG Captain taking the big prize in the big GPPs, but tomorrow is all about all about the ADC-MID position being the captain. Before we dive in, I did a 3 question interview with JT on his 7 day takedown streak. Let’s dive in!

Javi – JT. Let’s stick the fluff and get right to it. What’s been your strategy to the takedowns? EU Masters is a disaster. Teach us!

JT – Well, Javi, it boils down to my strategy of hedging everything. I hand build about 50 lines with 10 main lineups and focus on 4-2 stacks. About 80% of my stacks go to MID or ADC at Captain with stacking the TOP, SUP guys on the same team as my captain and working that route. It’s been mainly 2 game slate takedowns and I have every way pretty much locked.

Javi – Well thanks for the information. I wonder who taught you the ways to the promised land! What are you focusing on tomorrow?

JT – You know I look up to you and you taught me everything I know. Owe a lot of the takedowns to you! As for the slate, I’m focusing primarily on FNC with GO/KICK. I think FNC runs away with this, but we can’t count out MRS. MRS is a solid squad who can catch a heater, but I think FNC is the better team. MagiFelix at the MID for FNC isn’t good so try to avoid him. Again, focus on Matty at Captain with the JNG, TOP, and SUP from FNC with whatever stack. It won’t fit with GO, but should fit with KICK!

Javi – Thanks for the credit on teaching you the ways! I think I’m on a similar path as you for tomorrow. JT, last question though. Who gets the next takedown? Me or you??

JT – Going for 8 in a row so I’m saying me, but I’ll try to let you win this one also. HAHA!

Cliff Notes – AVOID TOP and SUP for Captain. JNG at Captain is OK for FNC-GO stacks ONLY. My picks are FNC / KICK so I’ll have 4-2 stacks of both together. Should be chalky though.

CSGO – 5.5 DFS

  • 5.5 DFS Tournament – Focusing on 3 lineups and working on the heavy favorites mixed with a potential upset or 2. Only focusing on a few teams.
  • 3 Lineups – My Captains are RPK, JW, Apex b/c of price
  • Teams I’m focusing on and the players on those teams.
    • VIT – Apex, Zywoo, Shox
    • NAVI – Simple, Electronic, Flamie, Boombl4
    • VP – Jame, Buster, Qikert
    • FNC – JW, KRIMZ, flusha
      • Fading Brollan!

With League of Legends and ESports DFS, I recommend you LEAVE SOME MONEY ON THE TABLE. Leave $500 or more, be different and take a shot to win the $50k (if I don’t)

LoL ESports League of Legends Picks for Friday 5/1 all slate

I refer to DraftKings in this article.

Today we have a two game slate. You know the deal..Not a lot to break down but here is what I am doing.

There is not much variance on these small slates so you either see a big tie for first or someone with a one off player, or total game stack with a different TEAM, could win by themself.

If you want to play ADC at CPT (which is usually the best bet) there are only 100 possible teams you can make (if you are not playing opposing teams on the same lineup). I ran the projections. So if you go that route in the huge GPP’s your best shot is a tie at first (that is still profitable).

League of Legends Stacks in orderNoon

  1. BTXL 4/3 stack
  2. GO 4/3 stack
  3. GL 4/3 stack

If you remove YDN from your player pool there are literally only 20 teams you can make with ADC at CPT (without using opposing players). That is most likely what I will be playing.

I am only using ADC at CPT for each team. I am not going to force using another position and hope to get lucky. I will take the profit that is offered today.

League of Legends Stacks in order – 1:40

  1. K1CK
  2. MRS
  3. SO4E

ADC CPTs

League of Legends Stacks in order – 3:20

  1. MRS
  2. SO4E
  3. K1CK

ADC CPTs

LoL ESports League of Legends Picks for Tuesday 4/29 4AM slate

I AM ONLY USING ADC at CPT unless I specify otherwise

4 AM Stacks in order

  1. SRB – They have the winning history against DYN this season (2-0)
  2. GRF – They played SB close this year but edged them out in total kills in six matches 68 to 59. Its only a two game slate so I will lean GRF.
  3. SB

Here are Javi’s notes:

SRB went 2-0 vs DYN this season. They won 2-1 and 2-0, the kill counts were 16-10, 11-3 and 20-6, 4-19, and 11-7

GRF and SB went 1-1, both matches went 2-1.  GRF had 68 total kills in 6 matches versus SB had 59 total kills in 6 matches.

6 lineups focusing on 4 SRB with 2 SB and 2 GRF. The other 2 will be DYN with 1 GRF and 1 SB then that’s it.

Avoid JAM for SB, avoid top for GRF. Not sure if we fade support for GRF yet, but probably will.

Total kills by player in the matchups this past season.

K-D-A

SRB:

Thal- 12-9-22
KaKao- 14-10-27
DanChung- 8-7-30
Sangyoon – 25-8-20
Nova – 3-12-38

DYN

Rich- 8-18-15
Beyond- 5-14-20
Kuzan-15-6-17
Feiz-14-10-19
Guger -3-14-30

5 AM Stacks in order

  1. JDG (-142) They have a very tough match against TES, but I think JDG the best team in the league so I have to side with them here
  2. IG (-117)

Afternoon Stacks in order

  1. VGIA Lock -550
  2. LDL +205
  3. RGO +117

If you are multi entering just lock in 4 VGIA players and stack with LDL or RGO.

If I decide to multi enter I will mix in all four teams but the ones above are the ones I would focus on if only playing one lineup.

I’ll be focusing on my core plays for the 4.28 DFS Tournament for DK LoL, DK CSGO, and DK PGA slate. This article is focused around DraftKings ONLY. This is what I plan to do with my 7 lineups for each competitions!

League of Legends LCK Promotional Slate!

League of Legends Side Note – ADC/MID at Captain are usually the big winners. Focus on J A M , which is ADC, JNG, or MID at Captain. Don’t put SUP or TOP in your Captain spot. I can see the need to do SUP or TOP as Captain, but it isn’t ideal and doesn’t win the big money as often. Today’s CAPTAIN focus for ME is ADC/MID ONLY.

SIDE NOTE – It’s a 2 game slate AND this tournament means a lot on this 4.28 DFS slate. I’m focusing on MID/ADC Captain ONLY.

SRB vs. GRF – I want to start off and say that this slate is GROSS. They are full of bad teams, especially the bottom 2 from the LCK, but it means a lot in terms of the top 2 get to move into the LCK Summer Split so they need to play to win. For GRF, focus only on UCAL, TARZAN, and VIPER for your stacks and maybe the team slot, but NO ONE ELSE. It is too risky. For SRB, they consistently start the same 5 guys, which consist of THALL, KAKAO, DANCHUNG, SANGYOON, and NOVA so they are all safe and in play. Surprisingly SRB knows how to put up some good amount of the kills. The last 2 matches they played they put up 18,23, 13, 28, and 19 kills and that’s losing 2 of the matchups. I like SRB for the upset, but it’s a 2 game slate. Focus on about 5 lineups with 2-3 SRB or 2-3 GRF!

Cliff Notes – AVOID TOP and SUP from GRF as we don’t know who will be the starter so it’s an easy fade. Use the TOP and SUP players from the DYN and SB matchup. I don’t mind you using VIPER or UCAL in the Captain spot as they fit with basically any stack you want. It’s not possible to use VIPER with SB stack, but I prefer going contrarian and upset driven today. I’m using SANGYOON from SRB for my captain spot for these stacks and that’s it.

SB vs. DYN – Everything about SB is gross and their lineup strategy is even more gross. Their ADC, JNG, MID are always different and they love to sub mid game even after winning match one. SB safest plays are Summit and Gorilla ONLY and that’s it. If you are doing 10 lineups, I’d say to do ONE ROUTE line at ADC then do the exact line with LEO at ADC. Hopefully they announce starters before lock, but nothing is guaranteed with the LCK. If you won’t be awake to tinker your lineups before lock, I’d say avoid SB or even avoid the slate all together. As for Dynasty, they have no subs and have one player at each position. I like them better because they have a consistent lineup and no one can be subbed out, but who knows who wins this matchup. If I have a vote, I’d roll with DYN and SRB stacks in most lineups.

Cliff Notes – JNG, MID, and ADC are not safe for SB unless they announce starters before the 4am EST lock time. For my 4 man stacks with DYN, I’m only using FEIZ at the captain spot.

PGA – 4.27 DFS

I’m not going to focus on each golfer, but I have a set 4-5 guys for each of my lineups. It seems a little too easy and might be good chalk to roll with these guys. See below on my focus!

  • Carson Roberts – if he plays – best value – 25-1 odds – 6 Top 10s in Outlaw Tour – $7100
  • Riley Wheeldon – 9 top 11 in 11 events.  Safe floor – $8200
  • Colton Yates or Derek Bayley – Bayley safer as Yates hasn’t played much on Outlaw Tour, but has 2 top 10 in 2 appearances. Bayley is top 15 in all 10 events he’s played.
  • KK Limbhasut – 4 Outlaw tour event and top 3 in 3 of those 4 AND he’s cheaper this week than last week.
  • Other Javi Favorites based on Birdie Percentage, Previous Outlaw Tour tournaments, etc. – Mason, Docherty, Paul Twins (either or), Lapa, Laskin, Lapa, and Lilleboe

CSGO – 4.27 DFS

  • Focusing on 5 lineups and working on the heavy favorites mixed with a potential upset or 2. Only focusing on a few teams.
  • 5 Lineups – My Captains that I’ll be trying to use are 2 from Astralis being device or Xyp9x, BnTeT or Koosta, coldzera (b/c of price)
  • Teams I’m focusing on and the players on those teams.
    • Astralis – device, Magisk, Xyp9x, dupreeh
      • Biggest favorites on the slate with FAZE.
    • GEN G – BnTeT, s0m, Koosta, autimatic
    • EG – Brehze, CERQ, stanislaw
    • FAZE – NiKo, broky, coldzera, rain
    • 100 Thieves – jks, jkaeem, Liazz, AZR
    • H – Maka, Nivera, kioshIMa

Make sure to check out our LoL Projections by clicking here!

If you’re betting tonight on the matches for 4.21 DFS, I say go ML bet on ES and T1.

With League of Legends and ESports DFS, I recommend you LEAVE SOME MONEY ON THE TABLE. Leave $500 or more, be different and take a shot to win the $50k (if I don’t)
