Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Sunday’s Truck Series race from Texas Motor Speedway! This is the first race of a doubleheader of NASCAR action from Texas with the Truck race starting early, 12pm EDT. Make sure you have your lineups set early so you don’t miss lock!

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

Austin Hill ($11,200)

Starting Position: 3rd

Hill didn’t work out too well in the Xfinity race on Saturday, but he is one the top drivers in one the top trucks in this series where he is competing for a championship. Hill has been dominant at tracks like Texas with nine top 10’s, six top 5’s, and two wins in his last 10 at 1.5 mile tracks.

Sheldon Creed ($10,100)

Starting Position: 1st

Creed is a championship favorite and he is also my pick to win this race on Sunday. It seems like all the GMS trucks have been fast lately this season and Creed is no exception. Creed has three straight top 5 finishes in his last three races. I know that Creed hasn’t had great success here at Texas with only one top 10, which was in this race last year when he finished 6th

Christian Eckes ($9,700)

Starting Position: 10th

Eckes has a great day earlier this season at Texas where he finished 2nd. It wasn’t just his solid finish that made him one of the top DFS plays, he also led 52 laps that race and had a plus 5 place differential. Eckes offers us up some small place differential again on Sunday, but has a fast KBM Toyota that could easily land him another top 5

Other Options: Zane Smith ($10,800), Dylan Lupton ($9,500)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Tanner Gray ($7,900)

Starting Position: 23rd

After back to back 3rd place finishes, Gray had two very poor finishes after wrecking in both races. I think Sunday is a bounce back day for Gray and he pulls out another 10 finish with top 5 upside.

Derek Kraus ($7,800)

Starting Position: 11th

Kraus will look to finish with a top 10 for the third race in a row on Sunday and I think it happens. I think Kraus is actually underpriced for his upside in this race. When it comes to 1.5 mile tracks, Kraus has been pretty successful with five top 10 finishes in his last 10.

Other Options: Ben Rhodes ($8,600), Chandler Smith ($8,300), Trevor Bayne ($7,500 – GPP Only)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

  1. Chase Purdy – $7,100 – P28
  2. Clay Greenfield – $4,900 – P24
  3. Raphael Lessard – $7,300 – P20
  4. Tate Fogeleman – $5,500 – P17
  5. Josh Bilicki – $5,600 – P32
  6. Trey Hutchens – $6,500 – P37

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday afternoons Xfinity Series race from Texas Motor Speedway. On Saturday we have 200 laps of racing to pick up dominator points. I expect the majority of those points to be earned by two drivers while the rest of the field just tries to keep up with them. Austin Cindric ($11,400) is the highest priced driver again this week and I am going to assume he will desperately want to make up for his poor showing after being wrecked early on last week.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

Austin Cindric ($11,400)

Starting Position: 7th

Cindric had an early day last weekend in Kansas and I don’t see that happening again this week. I think Cindric has the potential to lead over 100 laps this week, and win. Earlier this season at Texas Cindric won and led 44 laps. In 5 races at Texas, Cindric has never finished lower than 11th, and has three top 5 finishes

Chase Briscoe ($11,100)

Starting Position: 1st

Briscoe has won the last two races at 1.5 mile tracks and led over 150 laps in both those races. Since Briscoe is on the pole he should take the early lead and hold it for a while until Cindric can get passed him. We have so much value in this field on Saturday that rostering both Cindric and Briscoe together (especially in cash) should be easy to do comfortably. I plan on doing this in GPP’s as well because I think they are 1 and 2 in DKFP on Saturday

Other Options: Justin Allgaier ($10,800), Harrison Burton ($10,400), Noah Gragson ($10,100),Anthony Alfredo ($9,600)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Riley Herbst ($9,000)

Starting Position: 19th

Herbst price isn’t ideal for me, but he will probably come in at much lower ownership because of it. I won’t have a ton of exposure to Herbst, probably around 25%, but not because I don’t think he will succeed, but because of the price solely. Herbst had a poor showing early this season at Texas, but that was because of an accident early on.

Austin Hill ($8,100)

Starting Position: 14th

Hill ended up with a 5th place finish last week at Kansas and when he doesn’t get involved in a wreck he has yet to finish worse than 17th in 2020. I don’t see Hill being a popular play at this price and starting 14th which will give us a huge advantage on the field if he pulls out another top 5, or even a top 10.

Other Options: Michael Annett ($8,700), Ryan Sieg ($8,600), Ryan Vargas ($7,500)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

This week the value tier is loaded this week and we will need them to fit in the top tier driver we will need to take down GPP’s.

  1. BJ McLeod – $6,400 – P30
  2. Jeffrey Earnhardt – $5,000 – P21
  3. Jesse Little – $6,600 – P27
  4. Colby Howard – $5,600 – P33
  5. Brandon Brown – $7,400 – P15
  6. Bayley Currey – $5,100 – P24 – GPP ONLY
  7. David Starr – $5,300 – P23
  8. Myatt Snider – $7,200 – P22
  9. Kyle Weatherman – $6,100 – P36 – Starts last, but there is a good chance his car doesn’t make it to the end capping his upside.

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday’s Xfinity Series from Kansas Speedway. Earlier this year at Kansas Austin Cindric ($10,900) dominated the race leading 131 laps but ended up in 2nd, while Brandon Jones ($9,500) ended up in victory lane.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

Chase Briscoe ($11,500)

Starting Position: 6th

Briscoe didn’t have a great day at Kansas in July this year, but he dominated the race at Las Vegas a couple weeks ago. Vegas runs as a similar style track to Kansas and I think Briscoe has the potential to dominate here on Saturday.

Harrison Burton ($10,200)

Starting Position: 18th

Burton offers great place differential upside and also is a potential dark horse to win this race. Earlier this season Burton finished 3rd here at Kansas and led 8 laps. Burton is a safe play in great equipment (JGR) and should easily have a top 10 finish.

Other Options: Austin Cindric ($10,900), Anthony Alfredo ($9,500)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Brett Moffitt ($7,900) and Austin Hill ($7,700) are two great plays in the mid tier this week. Both Moffitt (27th) and Hill (29th) start towards the back and offer some really great place differential upside. Both of these drivers will have run the Truck Series prior to the Xfinity race and could have an advantage because of this. I think Hill is the safer play and therefor I would use him in cash, and stick with Moffitt in GPP’s.

Ryan Sieg ($8,500)

Starting Position: 8th

Sieg is a GPP only play for me this weekend. He doesn’t have the place differential upside we would generally want, but Sieg is in the playoffs and has used pit strategy to get stage points and lead laps towards the end of stages. Sieg definitely has top 10 upside in my opinion, and possibly top 5 potential as well. He is not a safe play, but he will be low owned and could make your lineup different enough for a takedown.

Other Options: Michael Annett ($8,900), Timmy Hill ($8,100)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

  1. Jesse Little – $6,000 – P30
  2. Brandon Brown – $7,100 – P16 ( too cheap for the upside here)
  3. Bayley Currey – $5,700 – P32
  4. Josh Reaume – $5,20 – P36
  5. Josh Williams – $6,800 – P23
  6. Jeffrey Earnhardt – $4,700 – P14

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday’s Truck Series race from Kansas Speedway! After a one week hiatus, the trucks head back to track this weekend with 134 laps of playoff racing. Matt Crafton ($9,000) won here in Kansas back in July of this season and will definitely be a contender again on Saturday. I really think Crafton is more a GPP play on Saturday where he starts in the 5th position and could be a low owned dominator in this race after leading 23 laps back in July.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

Parker Kligerman ($11,100)

Starting Position: 35th

Kligerman is this weeks expensive chalk place differential play for cash games. Even though he is cash viable, that doesn’t mean we want to fade him in GPP’s. Kligerman could easily be the highest scoring driver in this race and we will want to have some exposure to that. At 1.5 mile tracks this season (2 races) Kligerman has two solid finishes inside the top 20, including a 10th place finish. We are hoping similar or better numbers thhis week.

Christian Eckes ($10,400)

Starting Position: 14th

I love Eckes for place differential upside like Kligerman, but with top 5 finishing potential. In July, Eckes finished 2nd behind Crafton here in the second of back to back Kansas races after finishing 13th in the first race.

Zane Smith ($10,100)

Starting Position: 9th

Zane Smith ran his two career races at Kansas earlier this season and came home with back to back top 10 finishes (6th and 9th) and will look for his 3rd top 10 finish at Kansas this season. Smith’s upside is limited because of his starting position but the GMS trucks are always fast at 1.5 mile tracks and I think there is potential for Smith to win this race on Saturday.

Other Options: Austin Hill ($10,700), Sheldon Creed ($9,900)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Derek Kraus ($8,200)

Starting Position: 12th

Kraus seemingly makes his way into these Truck Series articles weekly and with good reason. Over the last seven races in the series, Kraus has 5 finishes inside the top 15 including three top 10 finishes. Kraus also came home with two top 10 finishes in the Kansas double header earlier this season.

Tanner Gray ($8,000)

Starting Position: 19th

Gray is currently on a string of races where he finished 20th or better nine of eleven races. Included in that stretch was his 18th and then 4th place finishes here at Kansas Speedway back in July. There is plenty of place differential upside here with Gray as well making him my favorite play in this price tier this weekend.

Timothy Peters ($7,700)

Starting Position: 22nd

Peters is in Stewart Friesen’s #52 truck this weekend and should have a really fast truck. I really like Peter’s chances at a top 10 this weekend in this truck and his PD upside combined with his lower price makes him a great play in my eyes.

Other Options: Matt Crafton ($9,000), Ryan Truex ($7,600)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

  1. Hailie Deegan – $7,100 – P34
  2. Tyler Hill – $5,900 – P28
  3. David Gravel – $6,500 – P25
  4. Colin Garrett – $5,200 – P20
  5. Tate Fogelman – $5,400 – P23
  6. Spencer Boyd – $5,700 – P31
  7. Austin Wayne Self – $6,200 – P18

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday’s Xfinity Series from the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, also known as The Roval. This is the 4th road course race in the Xfinity season so we have a good number of races to look to for information on how the field should fair on Saturday. Now since this is NASCAR nothing is ever definite but as long as we don’t see many wrecks (we typically don’t in road courses) we should be ok. If you are in discord you saw I mentioned that it seems DK pricing is a little soft this week with how the starting positions worked out. I really feel there is a path to using 3 drivers priced over $10K in this race that you can field that you can feel comfortable using. There are the same two obvious road course dominators in this race, AJ Allmendinger ($11,500) and Austin Cindric ($11,000), that we are used to seeing at road courses as well as some “ringers”.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

Since we are at a road course, both Cindric and Allmendinger are the top choices and both offer up place differential upside. I will be using both of these drivers in multiple lineups on Saturday. If you only want to roster one, I would go with Cindric.

Kaz Grala ($10,100)

Starting Position: 12th

Grala is one driver in this top tier that might go under owned. In the 2020 season we only saw Grala race in one road course race, but he can be considered a pseudo road course ringer. Grala finished 4th in his one RC race in the #21 RCR Chevy this season, but he also had an outstanding showing in the #3 RCR Chevy in the Cup Series when he replaced Austin Dillon. While Dillon was out with a positive COVID-19 test, Grala took the number 3 to the lead briefly before coming home 7th. In 6 career Xfinity Series starts on RC, Grala has two top 5 finishes as well as three top 10’s.

Other Options: Justin Allgaier ($10,700), Chase Briscoe ($10,400)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Preston Pardus ($8,300)

Starting Position: 30th

Pardus may not be as much of a chalk play as someone with his ability starting 30th should be, so you might have some low owned value here. It is tough to get a feel for his ownership, but with him being a lesser known driver in this price range we could see him carry low ownership. In three races this season (all road courses), Pardus has two top 10 finishes. Pardus did race here at The Roval in 2019, but finished 27th.

Myatt Snider ($7,800)

Starting Position: 21st

Snider will be in the #93 car this week again but he does offer some minimal upside on Saturday. I don’t love the play if you are playing cash games, but Snider is a good GPP play. He is in the middle ground where he doesn’t have the upside of a Pardus base don place differential, but he does have top 10 upside and could be the difference in a GPP. Snider does own a top 10 this season (on a RC) when he finished 10th at the Daytona Road Course. In his other 2 road courses races in 2020, Snider finished 32 at Elkhart Lake, but did finish 16th at the Indianapolis RC.

Other Options: Harrison Burton ($8,900), Jeremy Clements ($8,500), Austin Hill ($7,600

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

  1. Jade Buford – $7,400 – P24
  2. Josh Bilicki – $7,000 – P32
  3. Jesse Little – $5,400 – P37
  4. Stephen Leicht – $4,600 – P28
  5. Gray Gualding – $6,000 – P33
  6. Brett Moffitt – $6,700 – P19
  7. Kyle Weatherman – $6,100 – P35
  8. Cody Ware – $5,800 – P38
  9. CJ McLaughlin – $5,100 – P36

Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday afternoon’s Xfinity Series race from Talladega Super Speedway! This is the fourth and final Super Speedway race on the season for the Xfinity Series and is arguably the most important of the four. This is the second to last race in the segment of the playoffs and we will see the playoff drivers battling for the win to secure them a spot in the next round.

NASCAR DFS: Dominators

AJ Allmendinger ($12,000)

Starting Position: 36th

Welcome to AJ Allmendinger chalk day in the Xfinity series. I don’t really need to tell you why to play Allmendinger other then he starts 36th and will finish in the top 10. In the first race at Talladega this season, Allmendinger started 34th and finished 7th. Play Allmendinger, and don’t worry about salary because we have plenty of value to make it work.

Ross Chastain ($10,200)

Starting Position: 13th

If you didn’t know, Allmendinger and Chastain both drive for Kaulig Racing as well as Justin Haley ($9,600). Earlier this season at Talladega these 3 drivers finished 7th, 2nd, and 1st respectively and I think that we could all three come away with similar finishes on Saturday. Chastain’s 2nd place finish here in June was his best at Talladega in a Xfinity car. Haley has two wins, three top 5’s, and five top 10’s in seven career Super Speedway races in the Xfinity series. If you want to spend your salary, I will recommend stacking the Kaulig teammates.

Other Options: Austin Cindric ($10,600), Chase Briscoe ($10,400), Noah Gragson ($9,800)

NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier

Timmy Hill ($8,400)

Starting Position: 37th

There is some talk that we could see Hill in a Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota on Saturday. Either way, Hill is starting dead last and will most likely be far enough away from the lead pack to avoid the big wrecks and could come home with a top 20 finish if it all works out for him.

Ryan Vargas ($7,700)

Starting Position: 29th

After Allmendinger, Vargas is probably the best place differential play in the field on Saturday. Vargas is probably the best driver to get behind the wheel of the #6 car at a Super Speedway this season. While he doesn’t have any Super Speedway experience, Vargas is a talented young driver with place differential upside.

Other Options: Harrison Burton ($9,400), Ryan Sieg ($8,300), Brett Moffitt ($7,900), Jeremy Clements ($7,600)

NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings

  1. Josh Bilicki – $6,900 – P35
  2. Joe Nemechek – $6,700 – P34
  3. Jeffrey Earnhardt – $5,100 – P24
  4. Matt Mills – $4,700 – P27
  5. Kody Vanderwal – $5,000 – P30
  6. Austin Hill – $6,600 – P18
  7. Josh Williams – $5,800 – P17
  8. Colby Howard – $4,800 – P22
