It’s crazy to think that this is the last week of the NFL regular season! Now that Damar Hamlin seems to be making MASSIVE progress, we focus some of our attention back to the field. The NFL is in the midst of shafting the Cincinnati Bengals for doing the right thing, but you all saw it. Let’s find some ways to cash in for the final week of the season!

Dallas Goedert, Eagles ($4,900 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel)

The Eagles have a lot to play for in Week 18, including potentially locking up home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. Even with Jalen Hurts out, Goedert is on my radar here. The Giants are 21st in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to opposing TE.

Despite missing time this season, Goedert is still posting solid numbers. Gardnew Minshew will likely be under center again, but there is still an outside shot that Jalen Hurts suits up. Regardless, I’m on Goedert as a solid option this week with plenty to play for.

George Kittle, 49ers ($6,000 DraftKings, $7,600 FanDuel)

Not only is George Kittle the best TE on the Sunday slate, but the 49ers have an outside shot at the #1 seed in NFC with a win and a PHI loss. Kittle has been on fire of late, hauling in 14 of 21 targets for 236 yards and FIVE scores over his last three games.

Arizona has nothing to play for, and they have been the worst defense in the NFL against TE. If you’re paying up this week, Kittle is the easy option. Your only hesitation here is a potential blowout with Arizona missing plenty of key starters.

Dalton Schultz, Cowboys ($4,500 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel)

The Cowboys are yet another team with plenty to play for in Week 18. A win and a PHI loss gives them the NFC East crown. Add in a 49ers loss, and they could clinch home field throughout the playoffs. While one or both of those scenarios is unlikely, Schultz should still be a busy man on Sunday.

The Commanders have actually been a top-10 team against opposing TE in terms of fantasy points allowed. He could come up big time for Dallas the way he did last week against Tennessee (7-56-2 on 10 targets).

Pat Freiermuth, Steelers ($3,800 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel)

Despite their best efforts early this season, the Steelers have recovered and still have an outside shot at the playoffs. Kenny Pickett has looked better, the defense is playing well, and Pat keeps getting looks. Aside from the donut against Carolina a few weeks back, he has seen at least six targets in three straight games.

The Steelers passing game as a whole has been unimpressive this season, but Freiermuth has a decent floor and some upside here. The Browns have been solid against TE, but hatred fuels plenty in a big game like this. I’m expecting a battle, and Pat should have his hand in this one.

Thanks for joining me this season for all my TE ramblings! It has been a pleasure, despite a really tough season for tight ends. Hope you all made some cash, and let’s cash in one more time for the 2022 season!

We are approaching the finish line in the NFL regular season, and that means two things. First off, players are unpredictable. Secondly, if you can find the right spots, there is an edge to be had. The second-to-last week of the regular season is upon us. Let’s find a way to cash in as we move toward the playoffs!

George Kittle, 49ers ($5,900 DraftKings, $7,400 FanDuel)

We have been riding the Kittle train for a while now, so why stop now? Kittle has once again asserted himself among the elite TE in the NFL with consecutive monster performances. He has now hauled in 10 of 13 targets for 213 yards and FOUR touchdowns over the last two weeks.

The Raiders are clearly tanking their season by benching Derek Carr and turning to Jarrett Stidham. If he was going to make it as a starter, he would have found an opportunity by now. The Raiders are throwing in the towel, but the 49ers are still jockeying for playoff position. I’m riding shotgun on the Kittle train until we end up off the tracks.

Cole Kmet, Bears ($4,500 DraftKings, $5,300 FanDuel)

He’s baaacckkkkk! Kmet is back in the weekly article. He is quietly building a solid rapport with Justin Fields, and the future is bright. Although he hasn’t found the end zone in five weeks, his volume has been solid. He is averaging around six targets per game over that span, and he draws a solid matchup this week.

The Lions rank 27th in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to opposing TE. Justin Fields and company are looking to play spoiler in this one with the Lions clinging to their playoff hopes by a thread. Kmet is coming off a two-week span of facing the Eagles and Bills, who both rank among the best in the game against TE.

He is such a sneaky good play this week, and one that I’ll be locking into my single-entry lineups.

Darren Waller, Raiders ($4,300 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel)

Waller is among the best tight ends in the NFL, but has been forgotten due to injury this season. He is priced among the mid-tier this week shortly after his return. With an inexperienced QB in Jarrett Stidham under center, I’m not scared off of Waller.

The 49ers have been a disaster matchup for opposing offenses, but volume could come into play here. The Raiders seem to have given up on the season, but pride is on the line here. I expect Stidham to look Waller’s way early and often in this one. His floor is low since we don’t know what to expect from Stidham, but I like his potential here, even in a tough matchup.

TJ Hockenson, Vikings ($5,400 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel)

This one seems too easy after last week, and it really just might be that easy. It has become evident that Hock is the #2 option for Kirk Cousins behind Justin Jefferson in this passing attack. Jaire Alexander also called Jefferson’s big game in their first meeting “a fluke”.

That could lead to more opportunities for the former Detroit Lion. The Packers have been decent on the defensive end, but the Vikings have plenty to play for. Green Bay’s season is over if they lose one more game. I’m expecting Kirk Cousins and company to come out firing as they assert their dominance in the NFC North. There has been a changing of the guard.

Noah Fant, Seahawks ($3,400 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel)

The Jets are getting Mike White back this week. You know what that means. The weapons will actually be utilized, and the Jets will move the ball. How does that help Fant? Seattle will need to make plays down the field.

The Jets have given up nearly 200 yards to opposing TE over the last two weeks. Geno Smith is having a career season, and will be looking to get Fant involved. Fant has a touchdown in three of his last four contests. He doesn’t have slate-breaking upside, but he could pay off well here if he finds paydirt.

We saw some solid performances in Week 15 for the tight end position. Playoff implications keep becoming more and more urgent, and we are here to take advantage! We have a big game Thursday night, as well as slates on both Saturday and Sunday! I’ll highlight a few plays from both Saturday and Sunday so we can cash in all weekend! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, whichever is more your thing. Hope the holiday season is treating you all well! Let’s roll.

Travis Kelce, Chiefs ($8,000 DraftKings, $8,600 FanDuel)

The best tight end in the game now draws one of the best matchups. This is a match made in heaven for Kelce and Mahomes. I’ve been hesitant to pay up at tight end much of the year, but this could be the time to lock in Kelce. Seattle still allows the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing TE…and Kelce scores the first-most (get it?).

He is fresh off a brutal beating of the Texans, where he hauled in all 10 targets for 105 yards. The rest of the team didn’t exactly do their part, but that doesn’t matter here. Kansas City is battling down to the wire for the #1 seed in the AFC with Buffalo and Cincinnati. The defense continues to struggle, which had led to even more opportunities for the offense to produce. I don’t need to tell you more about how elite Kelce is. This one has the makings of a shootout, and Kelce’s ceiling is enormous here.

George Kittle, 49ers ($5,300 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel)

Following his best performance of the season last week, I’m back in on Kittle. He is facing a Commanders defense that has been a solid unit this season. Chase Young is expected to return for this one. There is plenty to not like about parts of this matchup.

I’m expecting Brock Purdy to be focusing on building a rhythm in the short passing game. That success starts with Kittle. Washington has absolutely dominated opposing passing attacks over the last month or so, but that doesn’t scare me off of Kittle. I expect him to be targeted early and often, especially with Deebo Samuel still on the shelf.

Cole Kmet, Bears ($4,400 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel)

Here’s a crazy stat for you. The Buffalo Bills are the ONLY team in the NFL who hasn’t allowed a TD to a TE this season. So why Kmet? Well first off, this game has a huge spread of 8.5 points in favor of Buffalo. Justin Fields will likely be playing from behind, and that is a HUGE boost to Kmet.

Von Miller is out for the season, and Fields is looking to end 2022 by cementing himself as the future of the Bears. He has built a great rapport with Kmet, and his WR play has been inconsistent at best.

Give me some Kmet at low ownership…and let’s see him find his way into the end zone to break the Bills’ streak.

Juwan Johnson, Saints ($3,800 DraftKings, $5,900 FanDuel)

Another guy coming off a monster performance is Johnson. He missed a few games with an ankle injury, but if we exclude the 49ers game donut…he has been elite.

He has totaled 22.7, 13.7, 15.4, 12.2, 3.4, and 20.2 in his six other games in that span. Andy Dalton has been relying on him in a big way in this passing game. The Browns have been top-10 against opposing TE (fantasy points allowed) this season. Volume. Is. King. I expect Johnson to see at least 5 targets here, and if the Browns build a lead? He could see even more. Fire him up for cheap.

Chig Onkonkwo, Titans ($3,300 DraftKings, $5,400 FanDuel)

A WinDaily favorite, Chig has been a solid option of late for the slumping Titans. Some may be scared off of him with Ryan Tannehill now OUT for the season, but not me. Malik Willis hasn’t shown any ability to make plays down the field, but he doesn’t have to for Chig to hit value.

He caught a 48-yard pass from Willis in his first start, and now has double-digit points in three straight games. Willis and the Titans will have to make some plays in the passing game, and Chig is the easy option to bank on for cheap. Houston got dominated by Travis Kelce last week, and although Chig is no Kelce…he is a huge, strong target. He is a fine option this week.

Tight End was a complete wasteland last week outside of Mr. Evan Engram (11-162-2). Let’s navigate our way through the wasteland that is the Tight End position and find ourselves an edge this week! The playoff picture is rounding into form and there are a lot of teams with plenty to play for here in Week 15!

Dalton Schultz, Cowboys ($4,400 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel)

Schultz has quietly been one of the most reliable TE in the NFL since Dak Prescott’s return. His DraftKings points over the last six weeks look like this:

14.7

5.3

19.1

5.2

17.4

13.4

The two low totals are in games that the Cowboys won by 35 and 37 points. I’m expecting this one to be close, as the Jaguars are coming off recent wins against both the Ravens and Titans. They look spry all of a sudden, but not against TE.

Over the last month, no team has allowed more fantasy points to TE than the Jags (21.6 per game). Schultz has a great shot to be the high scorer this week in a game that suddenly means a lot to both teams.

Greg Dulcich, Broncos ($3,600 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel)

Dulcich has seen 16 targets over the last two games, totaling 9 grabs for 127 yards. Russell Wilson is a huge question mark going into this week, but Dulcich has a prime matchup regardless. We have talked all season about Arizona’s struggles against TE. They still rank dead last in fantasy points allowed to TE…and by a considerable margin.

Dulcich takes a hit if Brett Rypien is under center, but I still see him as a viable play here regardless. The Broncos have already “ridden” themselves out of playoff contention. The rest of this season is about developing young talent, and Dulcich is near the top of that list.

Hunter Henry, Patriots ($3,300 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel)

I’m going back to the well here with Henry in GPPs. Mac Jones continues to struggle, but the Patriots continue to hold strong in the playoff race. The Raiders are 25th in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to opposing TE. Henry isn’t a volume play, but he has shown flashes of viability lately. He has 50+ yards in three of his last five games.

I may never be a fan of Mac Jones, but I’m a fan of an offense that has so much to play for late in the season. Bill Belichick is one of the best to ever do it. With key players across the board still battling injuries (Jakobi Meyers, Rhamondre Stevenson, Damien Harris), the Patriots need guys like Henry to step up. I’m betting that he will.

Gerald Everett, Chargers ($4,300 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel)

If you’ve followed this article all season, you know I’ve been on Everett more often than not. Well, this is the perfect week to slot him into the lineup. I’m sure you’ve been aware of the Titans’ struggles of late, but you may not be aware of just how bad it has been.

Over the last two weeks, the Titans have allowed an average of 377 passing yards per game and 124 YPG to TE. A lot of that was due to Evan Engram’s big game last week, but I’m banking on another solid performance here.

Everett didn’t see the dip many thought he would with the lineup finally including both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. He still saw eight targets and turned those opportunities into 5-28. That line isn’t going to win you a GPP, I know. But Everett is in a good spot with a QB (Justin Herbert) who is playing as well as any player on the planet.

The Chargers are fighting for their playoff lives, and the Titans all of a sudden are feeling the heat in the AFC South. Fire him up.

Evan Engram, Jaguars ($3,800 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel)

This might seem like point-chasing, and I’m OK with that in some ways. Engram has shown his rapport at times with Trevor Lawrence this season and has seen a ridiculous 22 targets over the last two weeks. The Jags are suddenly alive in the AFC South (have I mentioned that?), and Engram has played a role of late.

This is far from a great matchup, but I’m playing the volume game here. Trevor Lawrence and company likely won’t see many easy looks, but volume will play a role here. Here’s a crazy stat: the Cowboys haven’t allowed more than 213 passing yards in a game since Week FIVE. Yes, more than two months ago. A full fade here probably makes sense from a game theory standpoint, but I think there is some merit to taking a shot here at this price point.

14.7

5.3

19.1

5.2

17.4

13.4
