DFS Punt Plays

Here are Scott Engel’s favorite value and punt plays at each position for the NFL DFS Week 14 main slate. As a weekly nod to punting, we also salute some of the greatest punters of all time by featuring their photos. This week’s featured punter is Pat McAfee.

NFL DFS Week 14 QBValues and Punts

Jacoby Brissett vs. TB ($6,100): The matchup against Tampa Bay is obviously a friendly one. He is not Nick Foles, so there is less concern of a bad outing. You have to at least consider Brissett as a cash game play and use Zach Pascal with him.

Tom Brady vs. KC ($6,100): He can turn it back on at any time, and will have to do so to keep up with Patrick Mahomes.

Ryan Tannehill vs. OAK ($5,800): The Titans are winning with Tannehill, and you can win with him too. The Raiders have allowed the fourth-most Fantasy Points Per Game to quarterbacks this season and using A.J. Brown with Tannehill is a good move.

Drew Lock vs. HOU ($5,100): The Texans do have a vulnerable pass defense, and Lock throws a pretty good deep ball. He certainly will not be widely owned.

NFL DFS Week 14 RBValues and Punts

Melvin Gordon vs. JAC ($6,400):  A prime value considering he has recaptured much of his better form and the Jaguars have allowed the second-most FFPG to RBs over the past month.

Benny Snell vs. ARI ($6,100): Great matchup, he could score more than once this week. Steelers will dominate.

James White vs. KC ($5,500): He is really the No. 2 WR on the Patriots. He is gonna be busy this week.

Darwin Thompson vs. NE ($4,000): He is an upside type who can deliver despite the perceived challenging matchup. You have to take the shot in GPPs. Even if many others are on him, he’ll give you a lot of lineup flexibility with the statistical promise.

Bilal Powell vs. MIA ($3,500): He can be unpredictable when asked to handle a larger load, but if Le’Veon Bell is out he should be the Jets’ lead RB and cannot be passed on at the price tag.

DeAndre Washington vs. TEN ($3,000): Could be the featured ball carrier for the Raiders if Josh Jacobs is out, comes at the minimum salary.

NFL DFS Week 14 WRValues and Punts

Jarvis Landry vs. CIN ($6,500): Has 16 catches in his last two games and has all of his five TDs in the last five games.

Courtland Sutton vs. HOU ($6,400): Nice price for a rising star who has admirably overcome QB changes and now may be more of a deep threat with Lock at QB.

James Washington vs. ARI ($6,000): Cardinals always are a team to attack with WR plays, and Washington has emerged as a big-play man in recent weeks.

Zach Pascal vs, TB ($5,500): Great value duo with him and Brissett. The Colts stack is an intriguing one this week.

Jamison Crowder vs. MIA ($5,300): Has quieted down recently, but Jets need to get him involved again to get the offense moving.

Allen Lazard vs. WAS ($4,200): Aaron Rodgers may have found a new downfield weapon that he likes.

Auden Tate vs. CLE ($4,000): Relevant again with Andy Dalton back at QB and Tyler Boyd will draw a lot of defensive attention.

NFL DFS Week 14 TE Values and Punts

Kyle Rudolph vs. DET ($4,400): He has become a consistent TD threat and Kirk Cousins may have a big week.

Ryan Griffin vs. MIA ($4,100): If the Jets offense wakes up this week, which should happen, he will be a top TD target for Sam Darnold.

Mike Gesicki vs. NYJ ($4,000): With Jamal Adams out for the Jets, the matchup looks even better. We still have not seen the breakout game yet, but you can take he chance that it comes this week.

Ian Thomas vs. ATL ($2,500): He is an athletic and heady young guy who just needs more playing time to show what he can do, and he’ll get that chance this week with Greg Olsen out.

NFL DFS Week 14 Valuesand Punt Defenses

Colts vs. TB ($2,400): An underrated unit facing the league’s most turnover-prone QB.

Bengals vs. CLE ($2,100): They have allowed 17 or less points in each of the past three games and Baker Mayfield can certainly turn the ball over.

Here are Scott Engel’s favorite value and punt plays at each position for NFL DFS Week 12. As a weekly nod to punting, we also salute some of the greatest punters of all time by featuring their photos. This week’s featured punter is Jeff Feagles.

NFL DFS Week 12 QBValues and Punts

Jameis Winston vs.ATL ($6,200): Yes, he threwfour interceptions last week, but he has also delivered a franchise record fiveconsecutive 300-yard outings. The matchup is obviously a fine one and he is a goodplay in both cash games and GPPs.

Baker Mayfield vs.MIA ($5,900): He may be themost popular play of the week and should be good for three TD passes, as theDolphins have allowed the most in the AFC.

Carson Wentz vs.SEA ($5,600): I do not expecthim to be widely used, but look for him to come through big as the Eagles tryto stay in the NFC playoff race.

Mitch Trubisky vs.NYG ($5,100): Take the shot ifyou roll out multiple lineups. The Giants have allowed the fourth-most FFPG inthe NFC to QBs over the past month.

NFL DFS Week 12 RBValues and Punts

Derrick Henry vs.JAC ($6,900): Last time theJaguars visited Tennessee, Henry had the best outing of his career. Jacksonvillehas allowed the fifth-most rushing yards to RB over the past month.

Joe Mixon vs. PIT ($5,900): He has scored in three of his past four gamesand Mixon has went over 100 scrimmage yards in each of his past two outings.

Miles Sanders vs.SEA ($5,000): He has thenecessary upside for GPPs, and is the ideal candidate to add a spark to thePhiladelphia offense this week.

Bo Scarbrough vs. WAS ($4,200): A very alluring salary saver. Scarbrough ran hard and determined last week and should find the end zone at least once.

Watch: Prime Week 12 NFL DFS Picks from The King, our CEO and Matt Striker

NFL DFS Week 12 WR Values and Punts

Jarvis Landry vs.MIA ($6,300): Lock him in, asthis “Revenge Game” script has all the elements for success. Miami has allowedthe most TD catches in the AFC to WRs, and Landry has scored in three consecutivegames.

Jamison Crowdervs. OAK ($6,200): He is amust-start in cash games right now, and will also serve you well in GPPs. TheRaiders are always a friendly matchup for WRs.

Tyrell Williamsvs. NYJ ($5,900): The Jets allowthe most Fantasy Points Per Game to WRs in the AFC and their CB situation isvery shaky.

DeVante Parker vs.CLE ($5,200): He has a qualityfloor now for cash games, and he certainly will not hurt you in a GPP.

Taylor Gabriel vs.NYG ($4,200): He his onlyoccasionally useful, but this is one of those occasions against the Giantssecondary.

Johnny Holton vs. CIN ($3,300): James Washington cannot be trusted in an expanded role, and Holton has some big play promise, too.

NFL DFS Week 12 TEValues and Punts

Ryan Griffin vs.OAK ($4,200): Do the PeterGriffin laugh when he scores against the team that has allowed the most FFPG toTEs in the AFC over the past month and full season.

Dallas Goedert vs.SEA ($3,700): A consistent TDthreat against a defense that has always let up points to TEs.

Vance McDonald vs.CIN ($3,500): The Steelerspassing game is depleted and he should be a prime TD option for Mason Rudolph.

NFL DFS Week 12 DefenseValues and Punts

Jacksonville vs.TEN ($2,800): The Jags had ninesacks last time they faced the Titans.

Carolina vs. NO ($2,200): It is a gutsy move to use the Panthers, but this is a divisional game and could be lower-scoring than expected. Carolina is tied for the NFL lead in sacks and is also tied for third in interceptions.

Here are Scott Engel’s favorite value and punt plays at each position for NFL DFS Week 11. As a weekly nod to punting, we also salute some of the greatest punters of all time by featuring their photos. This week’s featured punter is Andy Lee.

NFL DFS Week11 QB Values and Punts

Tom Brady($6,400 On DraftKings): The recent addition of Mohamed Sanu further bolsters the NewEngland passing game. The Patriots may also get into scoring position enoughfor the GOAT to get in one of his QB sneaks. Yup, I called him “The Greatest”and I am not a New England fan, either.

KylerMurray ($6,100): This a contrarian play, but Murray will have very low ownership, and he is not afraid of the 49ers, as he started to puncture their reputationin Week 9 before Seattle took them down. He scored 23.04 points vs. the Ninersin the first meeting and is a gusty contrarian play and a dual threat.

KyleAllen ($5,300): The popular QB play of the week, he is a must in cash games andyou should build around him in some GPP lineups. He threw for over 300 yards inadverse conditions at Lambeau Field last week and now draws the Falcons.

NFL DFSWeek 11 RB Values and Punts

TevinColeman ($6,100): He has cooled off recently but is set for a rebound week againstArizona’s 24th-ranked run defense. The Niners need to get Colemanrolling again to put the Seattle loss behind them.

Devin Singletary($6,000):Ride the emotion and the matchup here. Singletary makes his first appearance asan NFL player in front of his hometown supporters in Miami.

BrianHill ($4,800): He has scored in each of his past two games and should assume ahealthy workload. The Panthers allow the fourth-most Fantasy Points Per game toRBs. He’s the obvious salary saver of the week.

MilesSanders ($4,100): This goes against every indicator that suggests New Englanddominance this week. But I am a big fan of this dynamic rookie and he may havea breakout game against a formidable opponent, impressing everyone.

RaheemMostert ($3.400): He should be good to go despite a minor knee issue, and Mostertcan score from anywhere on the field when asked to play a larger role. He mayshine in place of Matt Breida this week. If for any reason he is not available orlimited, pivot to Jeff Wilson Jr. for $100 less.

NFL DFS Week 11 WR Values and Punts

MichaelGallup ($6,500): Gallup has started to show signs of re-emergence recently, and Ilike him to drop more than one big gainer on the Lions secondary while alsofinding the end zone.

D,J,Moore ($5,900): This one is just too easy against the Atlanta secondary. Moore isthe DFS WR lock of the week. WR partner Curtis Samuel is right behind Moore asa must-play at $5,300.

JamisonCrowder ($5,700): The Revenge Game theory can work when the player involved isperforming well. Crowder will impose his emotional will on the Redskins.

TerryMcLaurin ($5,600): This is the week he starts clicking with former college teammateDwayne Haskins against the AFC team that allows the most FFPG to WRs.

MohamedSanu ($5,100): Had a very good game in Week 9 and has solved the Patriots WR2problem. Gotta love the draw against Philly.

RandallCobb ($4,300): Enjoyed his best game as a Cowboy last week and could ride themomentum against the Detroit pass defense.

Deebo Samuel($4,000):Will have to play a premier role in the 49ers passing game against theCardinals. Will be widely owned but you should still use him in GPPs and getcreative around him with other top guys you can afford because of his value.

AndyIsabella ($3,500): He burned the Niners for an 88-yard TD in Week 9. He caught a55-yarder last week.

NFL DFSWeek 11 Tight End Values and Punts

T.J.Hockenson ($3,600): Dallas is third-worst in FFPG allowed to TEs.

Ryan Griffin($2,900):He provided two quality performances before disappearing last week, and it’sworth a flier to see if bounces back.

NFL DFSWeek 11 Defensive Values and Punts

Denver ($2,400): I am expecting a low-scoring game with Minnesota and the Kirk Cousins dud that pops up here and there.

Arizona ($1,500): The 49ers offense could be less potent without Kittle and Sanders. Arizona is one behind San Francisco for the most forced fumbles with 13. The Cards are worth a try in a divisional game, which could always feature some stretches of struggle

Here are Scott Engel’s favorite value and punt plays at each position for NFL DFS Week 10. As a weekly nod to punting, we also salute some of the greatest punters of all time by featuring their photos. This week’s featured punter is Dave Jennings.

NFL DFS Week 10 QB Values and Punts

Kyler Murray vs. TB ($6,500 on DraftKings): This is astrong cash game play against the team that allows the most Fantasy Points Pergame to opposing QBs. He will also save you a bit of money in GPPs. Murray performedrespectably against San Francisco last week and now gets a prime draw.

Daniel Jones vs. NYJ ($5,700): Both QBs are worthusing in this game, as Sam Darnold is just $100 more. But I will take Jonesbecause of his added mobility. Plus, when Darnold did not perform too wellagainst Miami, I lost confidence that he could take advantage of a friendlymatchup.Jones threw for 322 yards and four TDs against Detroit twoweeks ago.

Ryan Tannehill vs. KC ($5,100): The Chiefs passdefense is not as awful as advertised, Kansas City ranks 11th. ButTannehill has his best supporting cast ever and has been known to deliver theoccasional impressive statistical outing.

NFL DFS Week 10 RB Values and Punts

Derrick Henry vs. KC ($6,400): He has eight total TDsand is a threat to rip off a big run or take a screen pass for a long gain atany time. The Chiefs allow the third-most FFPG to RBs.

David Montgomery vs. DET ($5,300): The price has not caughtup to his recent performances yet. He will be a popular play against the Lions, who allow the most FFPG to RBs.

Devin Singletary vs. CLE ($5,000): This is the samesituation as Montgomery. The Browns allow the fifth-most FFPG to RBs.

Ronald Jones vs. ARI (4,300): We are going back to himfor the second consecutive week. Bruce Arians indicated Jones will continue to operateas the lead RB after he rushed for 67 yards and a TD at Seattle last week.

Kalen Ballage vs. IND ($3,800): Strictly a GPP play. There is no floor here. He is either going to seize this opportunity or completely flop.

NFL DFS Week 10 WR Values and Punts

Golden Tate vs. NYJ ($5,900): He has totally takencontrol of the Giants WR1 job since returning from a suspension and is a greatplay against the Jets, who allow the third-most FFPG in the AFC to WRs. EvanEngram and Sterling Shepard are out, boosting his appeal and opportunities.Darius Slayton is also worth a GPP play at $4,200.

Zach Pascal vs. MIA ($5,300): An obviously strongplay based on his recent performances, role as the WR1 for the Colts right now,and the matchup.

Christian Kirk vs. TB ($5,200): A widely owned sexyplay of the week.

Jamison Crowder vs. NYG ($5,000): He may be the Jets’best offensive player and the Giants allow the second-most FFPG to WRs. RobbyAnderson is also a GPP target at $4,700.

A.J. Brown vs. KC ($4,300): A really good price for aguy who is Tennessee’s best bet to hit with a big play at WR, and could seeeven more work with Corey Davis out.

Ted Ginn Jr. vs. ATL ($3,700):  Still a big-play threat at age 34, he hasreceptions of 27 or more yards in five of seven games played this year. Theplus matchup is obvious.

James Washington vs. LAR ($3,600): If a toe injurykeeps JuJu Smith-Schuster limited or out of action, Washington may have to playa bigger role in the Pittsburgh offense.

NFL DFS Week 10 TE Values and Punt Plays

Cameron Brate vs. ARI ($3,700): The best TE option onhis squad vs. the notoriously worst team vs. tight ends.

Mike Gesicki vs. IND ($3,100): Ready for a breakoutgame against the AFC’s second-worst team vs. TEs. You don’t need to spend bigat the position this week and he is a quality option.

NFL DFS Week 10 Defense Values and Punt Plays

Chiefs vs. TEN ($2,700): This team is not as bad ondefense as they are believed to be. Kansas City leads the league in sacks with52 and has 15 interceptions. You should take the chance when using multiplelineups.

Steelers vs. LAR ($2,600): Tied for the league leadin sacks with K.C., they will not be widely owned, but may keep the score down withthe Rams. This unit is playing really well ever since the Minkah Fitzpatrick acquisition.

Here are some of Scott Engel’s favorite NFL DFS Week 9 plays.Selections are based on DraftKings salaries. Also check out the King’s Valueand Punt plays for this week.

NFL DFS Week 9 Quarterback Plays

Matthew Stafford ($6,800): The Lions offense almost completely depends on the passing game, and Stafford has returned to frequent gunner form of his seasons before 2018. He’ll be flinging the ball around the yard often in a shootout with the Raiders.

Jameis Winston ($6,100): The 1976 expansion franchises will engage in a high-scoring affair as the Buccaneers take on the Seahawks. The Seattle pass defense has allowed 400-yard passing games to Andy Dalton and Matt Schaub, and the secondary just cannot contain the Chris Godwin/Mike Evans pairing. I do like a Buccaneers stack with at least DK Metcalf ($5,700) coming back the other way.

NFL DFS Week 9 Running Back Plays

Nick Chubb ($7,300): The prime RB play of the week. He wants to put last week’s fumbling issues behind him and Denver’s defense may spend a lot of time on the field this week with an inexperienced QB running the offense. The Broncos are No. 19 in run defense, so the unit is vulnerable to a quality RB.

Josh Jacobs ($6,500): A lot of DFS movement is going to the Oakland passing game, but they may also elect to rely on the ground game to keep the Lions offense off the field as much as possible. Jacobs lines up against Detroit’s 26th ranked run defense, and even if the Raiders open up the passing game, that means he could still rip off some longer gainers. The defense may loosen up further against the run and Jacobs will have chances to finish off scoring drives with TD runs.

Jordan Howard ($5,100): You have to take a chance on the “Revenge Game” narrative here, especially in cash games. Howard still can get it done with a sometimes intense and very physical approach.

NFL DFS Week 9 Wide Receiver Plays

Tyler Lockett ($7,500): He should be locked into lineups as the Seahawks face the league’s 31st-ranked pass defense. The connection between Russell Wilson and Tyler Lockett may be the best in the league from a chemistry perspective and the matchup is outstanding. Put Lockett in and then close your lineup door.

Robby Anderson ($5,500): He has only 53 receiving yards in his past two games, but is set for a big rebound week against Miami. Anderson is a terrific pick in this matchup, and should make more than one big play downfield while also getting into the end zone.

Allen Robinson ($6,800): He is doing a fine job of playing at higher levels than his offensive mates, making all the important and contested catches while outworking DBs. The draw against the Philadelphia pass defense is obviously a friendly one. Look for a healthy amount of catches, 100 yards and a TD.

NFL DFS Week 9 Tight End Play

Darren Waller ($6,300): You should spend up at TE this week, and on a 10-game slate, the options seem limited. The other top TEs don’t have highly appealing matchups like Waller does, as he could be Oakland’s prime passing target against a very shaky Houston defense. Otherwise, consider a punt play here.

NFL DFS Week 9 Defense Plays

I did outline some good value and punt plays at the position this week, but it does make sense to spend up a bit more without going to the top of the ladder for Buffalo at $3,800. The Eagles ($3,000) should get pressure on Mitchell Trubisky for some sacks and possible turnovers, and the Browns ($3,100) are a good cash game play against Brandon Allen in his first NFL start.

Here are Scott Engel’s favorite value and punt plays at each position for NFL DFS Week 9. As a weekly nod to punting, we also salute some of the greatest punters of all time by featuring their photos. This week’s featured punter is Shane Lechler

NFL DFS Week 9 Quarterback Values and Punts

Derek Carr ($5,500 on DraftKings): The Raiders QB haspicked up his play recently and faces the Lions, who have the league’s worstpass defense. Oakland may prefer to run first, but Matthew Stafford will alsobe flinging the ball around the yard and Carr will have to keep pace.

Ryan Fitzpatrick ($4,800): Miami is actually startingto look more competitive and could come away with its first win of the seasonat home against the Jets. If the Dolphins are going to actually claim avictory, Fitzpatrick will carry them to it. The Jets’ 24th-rankedpass defense will be further weakened as RCB Trumaine Johnson is out with an ankleinjury.

NFL DFS Week 9 Running Back Values and Punts

Devin Singletary ($4,700):  Among NFC teams, Washington allows the secondmost Fantasy Points Per Game to RBs. The Bills need a jolt offensively fromsomeone other than John Brown, and the exciting and versatile rookie is the guyto start providing it this week.

Mark Walton ($4,500): The path to a featured role wascleared for him this week when Kenyan Drake was dealt to Arizona. Walton hasshown he can be effective as both a runner and receiver and could be set forhis biggest workload yet in NFL DFS Week 9. He may actually register his firstcareer NFL TD against the Jets.

Ronald Jones ($4,100): If I was to go with Jaylen Samuelsas my third pick, that would be too obvious. The Seahawks and Buccaneers willengage in the highest scoring game of the week and Jones could see some openrunning lanes as Seattle has to mainly concentrate on stopping the passinggame. Jones has the speed to rip off a sizable run and can also finish off ascoring drive with a TD run.  I have agut feeling (and my gut is very prominent) that Jones is on the verge of aquality DFS outing.

NFL DFS Week 9 Wide Receiver Values and Punts

Danny Amendola ($4,700): He caught eight passes ineach of the past two games for a total of 200 yards during that span. Amendolais seizing a role as Stafford’s high percentage and yardage after the catch receiver.

Zach Pascal ($4,100): With T.Y. Hilton out, he isexpected to step forward as the top WR for Jacoby Brissett. Teammate ParrisCampbell is also a very appealing GPP play at $3,000 and has more upside.

David Moore ($3,100): With Seattle’s signing of Josh Gordon, Moore will soon lose playing time and may be stripped of his role as the secondary downfield target behind DK Metcalf. Moore may want to make a statement in a high-scoring affair with the Buccaneers and their 31st ranked pass defense.

NFL DFS Week 9 Tight End Values and Punts

Noah Fant ($3,000): He was targeted a career-higheight times in Week 8 and could see a rise in production as the second mostprominent pass-catcher in the Denver offense. Brandon Allen may look for him asa safe target in his first NFL start vs. Cleveland.

Jacob Hollister ($2,900): Tampa Bay is second-worstin the league at defending the TE position, and Hollister has been targetedeight times in two games since coming off the practice squad. Russell Wilsonwill throw to him with some confidence and Hollister is capable of providingthat surprising TE outing that no one sees coming. Those seem to happenrandomly and frequently. Here’s an actual prediction that Hollister could bethe productive punt that no one else but you will own.

NFL DFS Week 9 Defenses – Values and Punts

Pittsburgh ($2,400): This unit is very underpriced. The Steelers have eight interceptions in their past three games and at leastfour sacks in four of their last six. The Colts passing game is depleted, andwhile Jacoby Brissett has been protected well this year, there could becoverage sacks absorbed and a lower scoring output against a unit that hasallowed 31 points in its past two games.

Washington ($1,800): The Redskins have not allowed 20 points in their past three games and have 10 sacks during that span. They intercepted two passes in Weeks 4 and 6. Buffalo is bottom 10 in points scored, averaging 19.1 points per game.

Here are some of Scott Engel’s favorite Week 8 NFL DFS plays for the main slate. In many cases, these are quality value picks to help you spend up for the superstars you want. Prices are based on DraftKings.

Week 8 NFL DFS Quarterbacks

Ryan Tannehill ($5,100): He threw for over 300 yardsin his Titans debut and faces the NFL’s worst pass defense this week. You savea lot of money here and with a stack of Tennessee pass-catchers, or at leastone to pair with Tannehill. He may be widely owned, but you can differentiateyourself nicely elsewhere by beginning with him as your QB,

Matthew Stafford ($6,100): He is coming off his bestgame of the season and faces the Giants’ 23rd-ranked pass defense. Pair himwith Kenny Golladay, who is due for a bounce-back week. Stafford is an aggressivedownfield thrower under offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.

Week 8 NFL DFS Running Backs

Devonta Freeman ($5,500): I am not normally a fan orsupporter of his, but the Seahawks are vulnerable to pass-catching backs andthat is where he is still contributing. The Seattle-Atlanta game should behigh-scoring and Freeman may find the end zone more than once.

Ty Johnson ($4,900): The Giants are fourth in the NFCin Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to RBs. Johnson has opportunity and aworkload laid out for him at a very good price tag.

Devin Singletary ($4,400): This is your daring GPP valueplay. The Eagles have allowed the fifth-most receptions in the NFC to runningbacks. The Bills might fare better with utilizing Singletary in space insteadof banging Frank Gore into a sturdy defensive front.

Week 8 NFL DFS Wide Receivers

A.J. Brown ($4,100): I have been pounding the tableall week with my fist on this guy, wanting fantasy players in all formats notto miss his big breakout performance. He is a dangerous big-play threat who hasstarted to evolve as a possession receiver, too. He is simply going to toast theleague’s worst pass defense.

DK Metcalf ($5,000): I don’t have to tell any DFSplayer how bad the Atlanta pass defense is. What I do want to remind them of isPete Carroll’s never-ending desire to keep his players on a positive path. Yousaw it with Chris Carson earlier this season, as he did not waver on him duringhis period of fumbling issues. Now he’ll make sure the ball goes back to Metcalffor big plays after the rookie sealed last week’s lost to Baltimore with afumble that was returned for a TD.

Golden Tate ($5,800): He is just the sort of guy who wants to dish it out to the other side in a “Revenge Game” scenario. The Lions secondary will be without injured Darius Slay and Quandre Diggs, who was traded this week. Tate is the unquestioned top pass-catcher for the Giants right now and the matchup with the Lions could turn out to be a high-scoring affair.

Week 8 NFL DFS Tight Ends

Jonnu Smith ($2,800): Many will be on Josh Hill astheir value play against the team that is worst against opposing TEs, but Smithis 400 dollars cheaper. Plus, he faces the second-worst team againstTEs.

Darren Fells ($3,400): An interesting and nifty puntand pivot from the other popular bargain TEs of the week.  The Raiders have the AFC’s worst pass defenseand are third-worst among AFC teams in defending the TE.

Week 8 NFL DFS Defenses

Panthers ($2,400): Carolina leads the NFL in sacks(27) and is second in takeaways. It will also be a low-scoring affair againstSan Francisco. This will be the ultimate struggle of the week, as the Ninersare undefeated and the Panthers have won four straight.

Chargers ($2,300): Any unit facing the Bears offense has to be considered for Fantasy usage. The Chargers have also registered interceptions in four consecutive games.

Here are some of Scott Engel’s favorite Week 7 NFL DFS plays for the main slate. In many cases, these are quality value picks to help you spend up for the superstars you want. Prices are based on DraftKings.

Last week we hit on the Kirk Cousins/Stefon Diggs combo,Carlos Hyde, DeVante Parker and Ricky Seals-Jones.

Week 7 NFL DFS Quarterbacks

Gardner Minshew vs. CIN ($5,400): “Uncle Rico” is going to be looking at the Bengals secondary like it’s a steak from the Waffle House. Cincinnati will be without starting CBs Dre Kirkpatrick and William Jackson III. The Bengals allow the second most Fantasy Points Per Game to QBs and the most rushing yards to the position, with two TDs.

Josh Allen vs. MIA ($6,500): He is a favorite of maybe the hottest DFS Pro in the biz right now, David Jones, and that is good enough for me. You have to like a dual threat QB against a defense that allows the most FFPG to opposing QBs. Miami has also allowed a pair of rushing scores to quarterbacks and may surrender another here.

Week 7 NFL DFS Running Backs

Tevin Coleman vs. WAS ($5,600): You may be hesitant to use a time share RB, but Coleman played on a season-high 55 percent of the snaps last week and is San Francisco’s preferred goal-line area RB. Washington is Top 5 in FFPG allowed to RBs and has allowed the most receptions to the position. San Francisco will move the ball easily this week and Coleman could score more than once.

Mark Ingram vs. SEA ($6,600): The price is still friendly, and the Seattle defense will be heavily concerned with containing Lamar Jackson as a runner. That will give Jackson some advantages on RPOs and keep the Seahawks defense off balance against Ingram, who should score at least once. Seattle has also allowed the fourth most receiving yards in the NFC to RBs.

Frank Gore vs. MIA ($5,200): He gets another homecoming, and actually faces a former team this time. Miami has allowed the second-most FFPG to opposing RBs and Gore will finish off at least one scoring drive with a TD run.

Upgrade to Gold

Week 7 NFL DFS Wide Receivers

Robert Woods vs. ATL ($5,400): He has been a disappointment so far this season, with one 100-yard game and no TD receptions. Attacking the Falcons in DFS has led to great success this season, and Woods is an essential part of any Rams stack. He has four games with at least eight targets, while Brandin Cooks has two.

DK Metcalf vs. BAL (4,800): He is a GPP play in what should be a high-scoring game. Metcalf is averaging 21 yards per catch and the Ravens have allowed the most yards in the AFC to opposing WRs. This is should be a fun one as Russell Wilson tries to beat former teammate Earl Thomas with his new downfield weapon.

Dante Pettis vs. WAS ($4,100): He has logged the highest snap counts of the 49ers WRs in the past two games, and Washington is also Top 5 in FFPG allowed to WRs.

Week 7 NFL DFS Tight Ends

Darren Fells vs. IND ($3,100): The Texans have made it a point to get the TEs more involved in the passing game. Fells had two TD receptions in Week 5 and six catches for 69 yards in Week 6. The Colts have allowed the most FFPG among AFC teams to opposing TEs.

T.J. Hockenson vs. MIN ($3,600): Some DFS and Fantasy players will assume this is a tough matchup. But the Vikings are Top 5 in FFPG allowed to opposing TEs. Hockenson will not be widely owned and should be used if you roll out multiple GPP lineups.

Week 7 NFL DFS Defenses

Titans vs. LAC ($3,200): Most will spend on the Bills and 49ers, but the Titans have 18 sacks (tied for seventh in the NFL). Philip Rivers has thrown two interceptions in each of his past two games and is not getting enough support from the running game to avoid adverse passing situations against a solid unit.

Saints vs. CHI ($2,900): Another 18-sack team, they should stifle Mitchell Trubisky in his return.

DARING PUNT: Raiders vs. GB ($1,900): The Packers are depleted in the passing game and Oakland had four sacks and two interceptions vs. Chicago in their last outing.

Here are some of Scott Engel’s favorite Week 6 NFL DFS playsfor the main slate. In many cases, these are quality value picks to help you spendup for the superstars you want. Prices are based on DraftKings.

Week 6 NFL DFS Quarterbacks

Kirk Cousins vs. PHI ($5,200): The best value on the board at the position. There was a passing revival in Minnesota last week and the Eagles are third in the NFC in passing yards allowed. It’s not going to get any better for Philly against the Vikings WRs.

Case Keenum vs. MIA ($5,000): This may be a popular play against the Dolphins, who have allowed the most Fantasy Points Per Game to opposing QBs. Keenum does have a pair of 300-yard outings already so it makes sense. I would not start him in a seasonal league but you should certainly roll out some Keenum-anchored DFS lineups and load up at other positions. Keenum has the lowest salary of any starting NFC QB this week.

Week 6 NFL DFS Running Backs

Mark Ingram vs. CIN ($6,600): I keep popping him into these articles because the prices remain friendly. Ingram has a great draw against the Bengals, who have allowed the most receiving yards and second-most rushing yards to opposing RBs.

Derrick Henry vs. DEN ($6,100): He may not catch passes and that will drive his ownership down. But he has scored in every game but one this season. He is nearly a guaranteed six points every week. The Broncos have allowed the fifth-most rushing yards in the AFC this season.

Carlos Hyde vs. KC ($4,400): He could have his best game as a Texan and may not have much ownership. Hyde has scored in two of his past three games and the Chiefs have allowed the most rushing yards in the NFL.

Week 6 NFL DFS Wide Receivers

Stefon Diggs vs. PHI ($5,900): Last week Adam Thielen was heavily in the game flow to satisfy him. Now it will be Diggs’ turn.

Michael Gallup vs. NYJ ($5,600): In my eyes, he has already arrived as a star. The Jets will not be able to handle what is arguably the best WR duo in the NFC.

DeVante Parker vs. WAS ($4,200): The Redskins allow the third most FFPG to opposing WRs and have surrendered the second-most TD passes to the position (nine). Parker has occasionally flashed some big-play form this season.

Week 6 NFL DFS Tight Ends

Ricky Seals-Jones vs. SEA ($3,300): The Seahawks have allowed the third-most FFPG to opposing TEs. RSJ can get some opportunities to catch passes vs. the safeties, which may be the weakest link of the Seattle defense right now.

Jordan Akins vs. KC ($3,200): Deshaun Watson has actively been looking for his TEs in scoring situations. Last week it was Darren Fells, this week it could be Akins. The Texans have been trying to get the TEs more involved in the passing game and the TD chances are good in a shootout. Akins is worth a punt play.

Week 6  NFL DFS Defenses

Titans ($2,900)

Seahawks ($3,400)
